BT Daily: How to Have a Successful Bible Study - Part 5 - Duration: 3:04.

[Darris McNeely] I had one of my former students come up to me the other day asking me a question

about a particular verse in the Bible and a discussion he was having at work with another

individual about the interpretation of this verse.

I won't get into what the topic was here, it's not relevant.

But what I pointed out to the student, and I will point out to you, when it comes to

having successful Bible study, understanding the Bible, we have to be able to employ this

next tip.

And that is to let the Bible interpret itself.

Let the Bible do its interpreting.

So many problems, so many false teachings have arisen and perpetuated through the years

because individuals, denominations, churches, movements, have put their own interpretation

on the scripture that is not there from the scripture.

If as you read the Bible, something seems to be confusing or contradictory, always let

the Bible shed light on the scripture and lead you to that understanding.

Scriptures do not contradict each other, they complement one another.

But we have to be patient and we have to be willing to put in the work to find out what

the Bible says, all the Bible, on a particular topic.

2 Peter 1:20, speaking about prophecy but it applies also to all scripture and all topics.

Peter wrote, "No prophecy is of any private interpretation."

We can say no part of scripture is of any private interpretation and certainly not prophecy

that people get off into their own weird interpretations of all of that.

But you cannot take one scripture out and make that solely the interpretive explanation

for a particular topic.

Also in order to properly understand the Bible and letting it interpret itself, you cannot

force your personal view into it.

You can't do that.

Or, what you taught, been taught, what you think it should mean, or where it fits, maybe,

where you are in your life.

You can't do that, not with the Bible.

God's Word is truth and we have to approach it with reverence and respect.

In Isaiah 28:9-10, a well-known passage, it speaks to this principle that all of us have

to employ and letting the Bible interpret itself.

It says, "Whom will he teach knowledge?

And whom will he make to understand the message?

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line,

here a little, and there a little."

We have to be able to go through all of the text of the Bible, know what the Bible says

completely on its subject, and let the Bible interpret itself.

Go into it with that point of view, you'll have a successful Bible study.

And it will revolutionize what you think you understand about scripture.

hello I'm Landis and this is subnautica in this guide I will be covering the dive suits

in a little more detail there are three dive suits in the game

the radiation suit the still suit and the reinforced diving suit all of which

can be made at a fabricator in equipment and personal the radiation suit which

the game will give you shortly after the aurora explodes will require two fiber

mesh and two lead and comes with a helmet gloves and the suit itself the still

suit which if you don't have the plans for click the link in the card that

will show you the location of the blueprints the still suit. the still suit

will require one synthetic fiber one aero gel and one copper wire still suit comes

as just a suit finally the reinforced diving suit again if you don't have

click the link in the card and that will take you to a video showing you the location

the reinforced diving suit will require one synthetic fiber

two diamond and two titanium it comes with both gloves and the suit itself now

each of these suits comes with its own specific job designed to aid you in the

game the radiation suit will protect you from radiation damage but you do need to

be wearing all three pieces the helmet the gloves and the suit no combination of two

or just one on its own will work it's important to note that you do not need

the radiation suit when handling nuclear rods or depleted rods or even just

playing with the nuclear reactor the still suit will passively generate water

and put it in your inventory as reclaimed water which has negative three

food and +20 h2o it will generate two point five of these every in-game day

and the reinforced diving suit increases your tolerance to temperatures while

exploring the ocean and reduces the damage you take from

fauna which we shall go into more detail in a minute now for a more

detailed look at the speed I ran several runs of 500 meters with lap

markers every 100 meters all runs were timed and an average taken all of these

runs were done with nothing but the suit and the standard fins for a 15 percent

swim speed increase wearing no dive suit the radiation suit or the still suit give

you an average speed of 7.2 meters per second so you can wear the still suit or

the radiation suit without affecting your speed the reinforced diving suit

however averages six point two five meters per second so considerably slower

now for damage I tested this with multiple different fauna and came to

the same conclusion with all for this example I'll be showing you the stalker

details wearing no diving suit the radiation suit or still suit all result

in an average of 19 damage taken per hit from a stalker

however the reinforced diving suit averages nine damage per hit for about

50% damage reduction and finally a little bit of information on

withstanding the temperatures wearing no suit the radiation suit or the still

suit will result in no change to your ability to withstand temperature the

reinforced diving suit however if you are wearing just one piece either the gloves

or the suit you'll be able to explore and withstand temperatures up to but not

including 50 degrees if you're wearing both the gloves and the suit you'll be

able to explore and withstand temperatures up to 70 degrees there are

very few areas that go above 70 degrees so the reinforced diving suit will pretty

much allow you to explore almost all of the game if you found this video helpful

and this video is about the money you invest in clothes which do not worth it.

You have surely seen some people and you do not want to be like them

whom clothes worth a thousand euros and meanwhile they do not have even twenty euros in their pocket.

Because that happened to me many times, what exactly is going on with these clothes?

First, you save up money to buy something and that slows you down.

and you understand that saving money for two to three months to buy a garment

during that time you will not have enough to buy a whole outfit

that means you will not be satisfied with yourself.

The next thing that happens when you buy a garment that is too expensive for you

is to be very careful about where and how you wear it.

Something I also did.

Eventually I bought a very expensive garment and did not wear it

So it does not get damaged, does not get spoiled

to not to tear it, not to make it dirty and eventually I did not enjoy it.

The first clothing you invest too much money is the T-Shirt.

Buying a T-Shirt that is overpriced and is too expensive

you will usually find such T-Shirts with big brand names in front, something that will cause you a problem

and you will not be able to wear it that much, as much as a simple T-Shirt.

You can have one or two T-Shirts

which will be expensive for something special and that is enough.

You do not have to buy T-Shirts that cost one hundred and one hundred and fifty euros

because, there is no reason.

All that you want from it, to be have a good quality, to be stylish and fit your body type.

The second category of clothes you may have misunderstood

and you might think they require to invest more money, is the underwear.

You do not have to get the whole line of branded underwear

to gain value as a man and to have style.

What you need is to have enough underwear

but you can also find qualitative underwear, which do not cost a lot of money.

But what a man or better a woman will appreciate

in terms of underwear, that if the underwear is clean and not expensive.

Something that leads me to the next one and that are the socks.

I have met people who spend and pay way too much money for socks.

You do not have to pay one hundred and fifty euros for a pair of socks.

Because you will need to have many pairs of socks

and paying too much money, you understand that it is an exaggeration.

Make sure you simply have socks and make sure they do not have, and not being expensive.

The next category that I cannot leave out is, the accessories.

The accessories definitely complete your style and appearance

but when you get to the point where you are doing excesses with accessories

you understand that this will leave you penniless.

Especially if we are talking about rings, bracelets, belts, watches that worth exorbitant amounts

that is not positive for you, not at all.

Even the cufflinks, they might be a part of your job

they do not have to be too expensive.

Keep a budget that allows you to move

and match it with the rest of your style.

Closing up, the last category you invest a lot more money

than needed, are the sportswear.

If, of course, you are a professional trainer, for example

You are going to a championship or you have some kind of activity, four to five times a week

then it is worth investing a some extra money

because your clothes will last longer

and you understand, that when we talk about sports

we talk about the pressure on the clothes, they have to be washed much more often.

But if you only invest money for lifestyle

is something that does not need to happen.

If you buy a set of sportswear that worth three hundred euros

just to sit at home, is completely meaningless.

Something else that may lead you out of your budget is the trend.

New trends release every semester, new clothes get released

new accessories, which everyone of us, more or less want to wear.

But do not pay much more money than needed.

Better try a more economical trend in the beginning

and if you like them and they fit your style, you can invest more.

And the last thing I want to tell you about this category

if they do not match with the rest of the outfit, they will look weird on you.

If I buy a bag that costs two thousand euros

and all the other clothes cost me twenty euros each, you understand that It will be noticeable.

Imagine, for example, some women who save money

and after gathering a thousand and five hundred euros to buy a bag

while the rest of the style does not match this bag.

Something like that will happen to us.

then my brother found me and made me realize what world I had chosen for

completing my dreams you do the racing but do you have any idea what happens

before and after drugs prostitution betting and whatnot young kids wasting

their lives in it and you being the reason my brother had promised me he'll

fight by my side to accomplish my dreams the only thing he demanded was to trust

the people who raised me for 25 years without any profits and expectance

to get something back you're a good man Zack with a great heart but your world the

people in it it reflects on you no one in my family has killed anyone even by

mistake my brother he won't let me be with you

and I cant go against him at that moment I didn't know whether it was a trap

or was it genuine I had to know whatever happened before and after the races so I

wore a hoodie and went to a random after race party there were just too many

youngsters there all of them were drinking or drunk I had a bad memory

with drinking so all of them seemed to be on a destructive path for me not many

of them were over drunk but there were some who were robbed in front of me but

couldn't realize most of the girls out there were gold diggers money was game

there yes I spotted drugs too as well as some good colleagues of mine

I took one at the side revealed my face to him and asked him what was happening

here he laughed out as I was unaware of whatever was going on then he revealed

that this party was hosted by Joffrey Joffrey was well aware about the drugs

being sold because he was selling it it generated money worth way more than I

earn in any of my race before me hundreds of kids drowned their parents

earnings in the name of freedom and then there was one who left for his mother

and sister but how could the society accepts someone not one of them

so he was removed by being murdered by me I had to stop this anyhow I was about to

leave when I saw Simi and during the party and I headed to know where she was

going I approached her as a friend of Ajay and

she replied saying someone called her saying that he knows who killed her brother

simi was here because someone called her saying that he or she knows

who killed her brother I was going through something similar as well as I

was the killer of her brother so I was shook I said her to leave as I was not

very impressed by the things going at that place she refused doubted me for

being Ajays friend I needed to grab her confidence so I asked her a question

who paid all of the Ajay's bills she promptly said someone unknown I asked

the exact figure which was paid and showed her a transaction recept on my

mobile then I told her about who I actually was Zack The Racer Ajay's biggest

Idol her eyes filled of tears I hugged her calming her down

I requested her to leave as this wasn't a safe place she went to the bus stop so

I gave her a lift home she requested me to go and meet her mom she was

discharged that very day I went in her mom was sleeping she woke her up and

told her everything her mom realized me meeting her on the

other day with filled eyes she smiled

the person who killed my parents was caught by the police in a village but

before he could say who funded him to murder them

he died of food poisoning and the case was closed

the inspector handling that case was alive though and I was told to go to him

and say the name Jamie on reaching his address I realized that he had retired

so I knocked his door and when he asked me my identity I said Jamie he said the

thing I could never expect he said Joffrey was the one to kill the murderer

of my parents Joffrey apparently killed my parents so

that I could be boomed but the killer was caught and hence Joffrey killed the

killer as well I was like what it could be but no I was apparently it was not

true I wasn't ready to accept it but it was proved by a suicide letter left by

Jamie the one who killed the killer of my parents for Joffrey in the letter he

clearly mentioned killing the killer in further paragraphs

he mentioned being connected to Joffrey but a suicide letter is not a strong

enough evidence to prove an act which happened years ago

Joffrey just shut the case even before it meant anything I was very very

sad I looked up in the sky and asked him why why is it always that

the ones against me are my own people the ones I love

I needed to talk to Joffrey about it I went straight to him threw a copy of

the suicide letter on his face asked for answers he asked me to calm down

but I didn't I was fierce angry sad disappointed confused and he was

speechless he spoke after a while claiming to kill

the killer for some other cause but I was there for no shit with all due

respect of whatever he did for me I asked him to close down J&Z he replied

saying I didn't kill your parents you don't have any proof I did you can't

even because I didn't I don't care is what I replied continuing with you might

not have killed them but you killed the source to find the real killers

whatever happened helped me to be whatever I am today but down there is a

group of youth being destroyed and I was okay with it but now it has started to

tickle me now it has started to come against my love

you grew me to whatever I am so I won't let vengeance consume me close down Jnz

I do whatever you want I don't care what if J and Z doesn't close down I have

other ways to Joffrey smiled and said you call me dirty but I am I the only

one who has got dirt on their sleeves No so here's the thing you need a family

you get one you make a move to destroy me and you lose it all again how dare

you I shouted at least I wasn't a killer he replied

who killed them I asked I can't tell he replied at my apartment

I cried a lot everything was over my parents my best friend my love and soon

my new family

he won't let me be with you and I can't go

I had very less to select from the man behind my entire career was hiding the

killer of my parents the girl I loved more than myself left me because of my

people the family I claim to be mine was destroyed by me I had never felt so

helpless before if Suzy was by my side I would have hugged her and cried thinking

with her I felt so powerless without her I started to think what she will suggest

me to do she wanted me to change my life and not to be in this racing world so I

decided that I will I grabbed all the power I had and went straight to him his

mom the plan was to tell them the truth convince them and settle at some other

place with them forget the past and forgive but I forgot something

before forgiving someone I had to be forget first which unfortunately didn't

happen a slap made me realize the size of my

mistake I was removed from the house and was requested to never come back

whenever all paths closed down there is one which opens up the path to the dead

people the path to the graveyard the path to my mom and dad resting

side-by-side and their son who chose racing over them

and here he was on his knees spending an hour or the crying talking thinking and

whatnot I wanted to finish my life start it all again be a good son I knew I

could no one can but even if I couldn't defend them I

decided that I'll at least avenge them I went straight to Joffrey and set him to

reveal the name of the person who killed my parents I leaked the images of trucks

being sold at the party and both of us will go to jail before he spoke a word I

informed him that my secret wasn't a secret anymore

Joffrey thought for a while looked at me I to I and said well grow

my father sent that man to kill your parents he wasn't a bad father after all

he just wanted you to boost and he thought that by killing your parents you

will get enraged and start winning some races not cause me so many losses the

killer got caught and before it will take my father's name I had to kill him

to cover things up I I had no words to say I just turned back and started

walking and Joffrey spoke again I turned around he had a gun pointing at me he

said I can't stay in the fear of you leaking the people's and my father isn't

safe and you are around you had many fans Zak I hope they remember you after

you're dead the bullet hit my arm another bullet my back while I was

running another one my leg while I was escaping and one final which would hit

my chest if the car didn't come in between the back door of the car opened

and I jumped in the driver drove fast we were followed due to too much bleeding I

fainted and when my eyes opened up I was at a ship I asked a guy who was he

he claimed to be a fan of me he gave me some bandages and food and left I looked

up in the sky the sky was a screen now the biggest screen I had ever seen my

mistakes my downfalls were all being projected on it

I had the bandages but I couldn't apply them

I had the food but I couldn't eat it I had a third life to live so I couldn't

escape that night mark the beginning of my third life funny part of the story

was that the fan was actually one of Joffrey's as he couldn't kill me hence

implanted fear in me so that I never come back but I did yes I did

Today, I'm gonna show you how to make

this cute little pastel flower necklace.

So, let's get started.

(upbeat music)

OK, this necklace features

five millimeter Swarovski flower crystal beads

in violet, aquamarine, peridot, jonquil, and light rose.

We have some size 11 silver plated metal seed beads.

Then we have this .8 millimeter silver beading chain.

I've got a 12 millimeter silver lobster claw clasp.

And then I have these little silver,

thin fold-over cord ends.

I've got six millimeter eight gauge silver closed jump ring.

And then I've got two five millimeter

19 gauge silver open jump rings.

For my tools today, I will just be using

two chain nose pliers.

You can find links to all these beads and supplies

in the description below.

So, let's get started.

OK, so to begin,

I go ahead and I take my chain,

and the length of chain that you will have

is already cut to 18 inches, so you don't need to cut it.

So to begin, I'm just gonna pick up one

of the silver seed beads and slide it on the chain.

So tiny, sometimes it's hard to get them started.

There we go.

I'm just gonna kind of bring it to the middle.

I haven't put my cord in on the other side,

so I wanna be careful not to pick it up,

so that it slides off.

Then I'm going to pick up one of the violet flowers,

and then I'm gonna pick up another seed bead.

'Cause I'm gonna use these little seed beads

as a little spacer between each of my flowers.

And then I'm gonna pick up the aquamarine bead

and just slide it on here.

And then another spacer.

And then the peridot.

And then another spacer.

Sometimes these little guys are really tough to get

because they're so tiny.

There we go.

And then jonquil.

Little flower bead.

And then one more spacer.

And then the last flower bead, which is the light rose.

And then you end with a spacer.

Alright, so now I've got them on there.

And it looks pretty cute and sweet.

So now I'm just ready to do my cord ends.

And to do those, they're just the little fold-over cord end.

And so, it's kinda hard to see.

But um, you'll put in your chain

and then you'll just fold the sides over

and it will secure your chain end there with no glue.

So I'm going to grab my chain.

And a little trick that I do sometimes

just because they are kind of hard to hold on to,

is that I'll slide my chain in there and then

I put just a little bit of it under.

Like above where the folds are at

and I grab it with my thumbnail there

to kind of hold on to it.

And then I'll take my chain nose pliers

and gently on one side only,

I just start to fold over.

Kind of start towards the back and move to the front there.

So you get one side folded down.

And then you go over to the other side

and then you fold it over.

OK.

Just wanna make sure it's really in there.

So I'm just gonna give it a good smash

from this top side here.

So now it's in there.

There is a little tiny bit that's like hanging out the side.

So I'm just gonna very carefully use my wire cutters

and trim that off, but do not cut off your loop.

There.

So I've got one side done.

Now, I'm gonna just repeat that process

on the other side here.

You don't have to have that little extra bit to hold on to,

it's just easier for me to do.

You don't have to do that, you can just put it in there

and then fold it over.

Again, in the same fashion just fold over one side.

And then, you fold over the other side.

There.

And this has just a little tiny bit of extra chain there.

So I'm just gonna trim it very, very carefully.

Not to cut the loop, just to cut the little bit

of chain that I had extra there.

Alright, so I've got my cord ends on.

Now I'm ready to add my jump rings here

and my lobster claw clasp.

So, I'm gonna go ahead.

I'm using my two chain nose.

I'm gonna open the jump ring

by pulling one side towards me and one side away from me.

Putting it on the cord end here.

And then attaching the lobster claw clasp.

And then, close it.

And then, just in the same fashion,

I'm gonna add the closed jump ring on the other end.

So string on the closed jump ring,

and then attach the jump ring to the other cord end.

And then, close it.

How to Draw a Flying Hawk With Fountain Pen - Narrated - Duration: 3:13.

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will draw a flying hawk.

We begin with a curving line for the back

on this side will be the tail, and here the neck and the head.

Like so.

The large wing will arrive to here. It has long feathers on the tip

and a little bit shorter ones on the back.

I´m using a Justus 95 fountain pen with brown ink, and a smooth paper.

Let´s draw the characteristic hooked beak and big eye of the hawk.

Then the other wing. And we give a tone to some feathers

someone are darker than others.

The list of materials is in the information below the video.

We can effectively create the shading with hatching and crosshatching.

The tips of these feathers are darker.

This is a ferruginous hawk, the largest or one of the largest of the hawks.

He only lives in North America, that is in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.

It is gorgeous. And although it is not an endangered species, its

numbers have seriously decreased mainly due to the use of pesticides

on the crops.

He has light color feathers on the lower side, that is on the chest

and on the lower side on the wings

and a reddish-brown or rust color on most of the rest. And that is why

his name ferruginous hawk, from the latin "ferrugin", meaning the color of the rusted iron.

Of course the lower side of the wing, as it is catching the shade, it looks darker,

even though as I told you the feathers are fairly light.

I really love drawing and sketching with a fountain pen, especially

if used on smooth paper, it just glides. It is a pleasure!

I was just reading a study that found that drawing or painting

for as little as 30 minutes a day, sparks so many brain connections

that it actually produce brain activity.

Such as better memory, better thinking and a bunch of other things,

such a lesser brain aging, and therefore less prone to mental illnesses,

less stress and more happiness.

So my dear kids, young and old, let´s draw daily! [laughter]

How To: Care for Your E-Bike - Duration: 1:46.

Getting the best performance out of your e-bike battery doesn't stop when your ride ends.

Once you've reached your destination,

care for your battery by charging it near room temperature and store it in a dry environment.

You never want to charge your battery when it's wet, and you shouldn't store it in extreme temperatures.

Less than negative ten degrees Celsius, or fourteen degrees Fahrenheit, is too cold.

More than sixty degrees Celsius, or one hundred forty degrees Fahrenheit, is too hot.

And in the winter, you'll definitely want to bring your battery inside with you between rides.

If you're transporting your e-bike by car, make sure your rack is rated to handle the weight of the bike.

Remove the battery before placing the e-bike on the rack.

This will make loading the bike easier.

And transporting the battery inside your car will protect it against rain and road debris.

When you're cleaning your e-bike, it's fine to rinse and clean the bike with water after the battery has been removed.

However, use a gentle hand when wiping down your e-bike and keep the power washer in the garage.

Aiming a high-pressure hose at your e-bike risks water seeping into sensitive electronic parts.

Likewise, make sure all your electronics' contact points are completely dry before reattaching any electronic parts.

Cleaning the battery itself is easy, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth.

If your battery or any electronic features on your bike need service, please do not attempt to service your e-bike yourself.

EU responds to Trump's tariff delay - Duration: 0:53.

The European Union is still unhappy even though President Donald Trump announced he'll hold

off on imposing steel and aluminum tariffs on key U.S. allies.

The European Commission said in a statement Tuesday:

When Trump first announced a 25 percent tariff on steel and a 10 percent tariff on aluminum,

he temporarily exempted dozens of countries, including Mexico, Canada and members of the

EU.

Those temporary exemptions were originally set to expire May 1, but on Monday, Trump

pushed back that deadline to give the countries more time to negotiate a permanent deal with

the U.S.

The EU, Mexico and Canada now have until June 1 to negotiate with the U.S. over the tariffs.
