Waching daily Mar 3 2017

Hi, it's Lucy with Campingcarjoa.

Today we're looking at Dio-ST from DaonTNT.

It's built on the Hyundai Porter chassis.

It's actually classified as a mobile office.

The exterior has a really beautful design.

Usually you see sharp angles.

But it's contoured in here.

When I first saw this model.

I didn't think it was a Hyundai Porter.

When you look at the front.

It looks nothing like a Hyundai Porter.

The folks at DaonTNT.

Made new panel designs.

To give it this custom look.

So it's a mobile office that doesn't look like a Porter.

Come inside with me for a tour.

If you look at the door.

There's a screen.

It's easy to keep out the mosquitos and bugs.

So you can keep the door open in Summer.

As you enter there is a storage space.

A good spot to put away your shoes.

And.

There's a refrigerator and microwave.

You can store some food and drinks.

And prepare a snack.

Up here you have the control panel.

There's a voltage display.

Lights, TV, fridge, water pump.

Also the inverter can all be controlled here.

Now I'm at the dinnette.

Above me is a really big storage space.

A good place to stow away your gear.

The table in front of me is foldable.

You can stow it away if need be.

And.

This is a Hyundai Porter.

3 people can sit up front.

The kitchenette has a large sink.

Very comfortable to use.

And up here some cupboards.

Right now there are tissues up here.

But you can put what you need.

Above you have these LED lights.

Giving off some accent lighting.

And maybe you can put some coffee in here.

And some more large storage.

Let's open this door and see what's here.

This is the wash room.

There's a shower.

And a sink.

Just big enough to wash your hands.

I'm 175cm.

At 180cm it might be tight.

Let me duck under and get out.

Above me there is a ventilation fan.

Just turn the knob to open it

It blows air in or out.

There are windows to either side.

And another behind.

All these window can open outwards.

There's a screen below.

And a blind above.

You can adjust it to your needs.

And above surrounded by storage.

The table here.

Pull on the handle.

And lower it down.

Pull out the cushions.

And you have a bed for a nice nap.

Math Antics - Mean, Median and Mode - Duration: 11:04.

Hi, this is Rob. Welcome to Math Antics!

In this lesson, we're gonna learn about three important math concepts called

the Mean, the Median and the Mode.

Math often deals with data sets, and data sets are often just collections (or groups) of numbers.

These numbers may be the results of scientific measurements or surveys or other data collection methods.

For example, you might record the ages of each member of you family into a data set.

Or you might measure the weight of each of your pets and list them in a data set.

Those data sets are fairly small and easy to understand.

But you could have much bigger data sets.

A really big data set might contain the cost of every item in a store,

or the top speed of every land mammal,

or the brightness of all the stars in our galaxy!

Those data sets would contain a lot of different numbers!

And if you had to look at a big data set all at one time…

it would be pretty hard to make sense of it or say much about it besides

"well that's a lot of numbers"!

But that's where Mean, Median and Mode can really help us out.

They're three different properties of data sets

that can give us useful, easy to understand information about a data set

so that we can see the big picture and understand what the data means about the world we live in.

That sounds pretty useful, huh?

So let's learn what each property really is and find out how to calculate them for any particular data set.

Let's start with the Mean.

You may not have ever heard of something called "the mean" before,

but I'll bet you've heard of "the average".

If so, then I've got good news!

Mean means average!

"Mean" and "average" are just two different terms for the exact same property of a data set.

The mean (or average) is an extremely useful property.

To understand what it is, let's look at a simple data set that contains 5 numbers.

As a visual aid, let's also represent those numbers with stacks of blocks

who's heights correspond to their values:

one, eight, three, two, six

Right now, since each of the 5 numbers is different, the stacks of blocks are all different heights.

But what if we rearrange the blocks with the goal of making the stacks the same height?

In other words, if each stack could have the exact same amount, what would that amount be?

Well, with a bit of trial and error,

you'll see that we have enough blocks for each stack to have a total of 4.

That means that the Mean (or average) for our original data set would be 4.

Some of the numbers are greater than 4 and some are less,

but if the amounts could all be made the same,

they would all become 4.

So that's the concept of Mean; it's the value you'd get if you could smooth out or flatten

all of the different data values into one consistent value.

But, is there a way we can use math to calculate the mean of a data set?

After all, it would be very inconvenient if we always had to use stacks of blocks to do it!

There's got to be an easier way!!

[crash]

To learn the mathematical procedure for calculating the Mean, lets start with blocks again.

But this time, instead of using trial and error,

let's use a more systematic way to make the stacks all the same height.

This way involves a clever combination of addition and division.

We know that we want to end up with 5 stacks that all have the same number of blocks, right?

So first, let's add up all of the numbers, which is like putting all of the blocks we have into one big stack.

Adding up all of the numbers (or counting all the blocks) shows us that we have a total of 20.

Next, we divide that number (or stack) into 5 equal parts.

Since the stack has a total of 20 blocks,

dividing it into 5 equal stacks means that we'll have 4 in each,

since 20 divided by 5 equals 4.

So that's the math procedure you use to find the mean of a data set.

It's just two simple steps.

First, you add up all the numbers in the set.

And then you divide the total you get by how many numbers you added up.

The answer you get is the Mean of the data set.

Let's use that procedure to find the mean age of the members of this fine looking family here.

If we add them all up using a calculator (or by hand if you'd like)

the total of the ages is 222 years.

But then, we need to divide that total by the number of ages we added which is 6.

222 divided by 6 is 37. So that's the mean age of all the members in this family.

Alright, that's the Mean. Now what about the Median?

The Median is the middle of a data set.

It's the number that splits the data set into two equally sized group or halves.

One half contains members that are greater than or equal to the Median,

and the other half contains members that are less than or equal to the Median.

Sometimes finding the Median of a data set is easy, and sometimes it's hard.

That's because finding the middle value of a data set

requires that its members be in order from the least to the greatest (or vice versa).

And if the data set has a lot of numbers,

it might take a lot of work to put them in the right order if they aren't already that way.

So to make things easier, let's start with a really basic data set that isn't in order.

It's pretty easy to see that

we can put this data set in order from the least to the greatest value just by switching the 2 and the 1.

There, now we have the data set {1, 2, 3}

and finding the Median (or middle) of this data set is easy!

It's just 2 because the 2 is located exactly in the middle.

That almost seems too easy, doesn't it?

But don't worry… it gets harder!

But before we try a harder problem,

I want to point out that sometimes the Mean and the Median of a data set are the same number,

and sometimes they're not.

In the case of our simple data set {1, 2, 3},

the Median is 2 and the Mean is also 2,

as you can see if we rearrange the amounts

or follow the procedure we learned to calculate the Mean.

But what about the first data set that we found the mean of?

We determined than the Mean of this data set is 4.

But what about the Median?

Well, the Median is the middle,

and since this data set is already in order from least to greatest,

it's easy to see that the 3 is located in the middle since it splits the other members into two equal groups.

So for this data set, the Mean is 4 but the Median is 3.

So to find the Median of a set of numbers,

first you need to make sure that all the numbers are in order

and then you can identify the member that's exactly in the middle

by making sure there's an equal number of members on either side of it.

Okay, ...so far so good. But some of you may be wondering,

"What if a data set doesn't have an obvious middle member?"

All of the sets we've found the Median of so far have an odd number of members.

But, what if it has an even number of members?

…like the data set {1, 2, 3, 4}

There isn't a member in the middle that splits the set into two equally sized groups.

If that's the case, we can actually use what we learned about the Mean to help us out.

If the data set has an even number of members, then to find the Median,

we need to take the middle TWO numbers and calculate the Mean (or average) of those two.

By doing that, we're basically figuring out what number WOULD be exactly half way between the two middle numbers,

and that number will be our Median.

For example, in the set {1, 2, 3, 4}

we need to take the middle TWO numbers (2 and 3) and find the Mean of those numbers.

We can do that by adding 2 and 3 and then dividing by 2.

2 plus 3 equals 5

and 5 divided by 2 is 2.5

So the Median of the data set is 2.5

Even though the number 2.5 isn't actually a member of the data set,

it's the Median because it represents the middle of the data set

and it splits the members into two equally sized groups.

Okay, so now you know the difference between Mean and Median.

But what about the Mode of a data set? What in the world does that mean?

Well, "Mode" is just a technical word for the value in a data set that occurs most often.

In the data sets we've seen so far,

there hasn't even been a Mode because none of the data values were ever repeated.

But what if you had this data set?

This set has 6 members, but some of the value are repeated.

If we rearrange them, you can see that there's one '1', two '2's and three '3's

The Mode of this data set is the value that occurs most often (or most frequently)

so that would be 3 since there's three '3's.

Now don't get confused just because the number 3 was repeater 3 times.

The mode is the number that's repeated most often, NOT how many times it was repeated.

As I mentioned, if each member in a data set occurs only once, it had no mode,

but it's also possible for a data set to have more than one mode.

Here's an example of a data set like that:

In this set, the number 7 is repeated twice but so is the number 15.

That means they tie for the title of Mode. This set has two modes: 7 and 15.

Okay, so now that you know what the Mean, Median and Mode of a data set are.

Let's put all that new information to use on one final real-world example.

Suppose there's this guy who makes and sells custom electric guitars.

Here's a table showing how many guitars he sold during each month of the year.

Let's find the Mean, Median and Mode of this data set.

First, to find the Mean we need to add up the number of guitars sold in each month.

You can do the addition by hand or you can use a calculator if you want to.

Either way, be careful since that's a lot of numbers to add up and we don't want to make a mistake.

The answer I get is 108.

So that's the total he sold for the whole year, but to get the Mean sold each month,

we need to divide that total by the number of months which is 12.

108 divided by 12 is 9,

so the Mean (or average) is 9.

Next, to find the Median of the data set,

we're going to have to rearrange the 12 data points in order

from smallest to largest so we can figure out what the middle value is.

There, that's better.

Since there's an even number of members in this set, we can't just choose the middle number,

so we're going to have to pick the middle two numbers and then find the Mean of them.

9 and 10 are in the middle since there's an equal number of data values on either side of them.

So we need to take the Mean of 9 and 10.

That's easy, 9 plus 10 equals 19

and then 19 divided by 2 is 9.5

So, the Median number of guitars sold is 9.5.

That means that in half of the months, he sold more than 9.5,

and in half of the months, he sold less than 9.5.

Last of all, let's identify the Mode of this data set (if there is one).

We let's see… there's two '8's in the data set…

Oh… but there's three '10's. That looks like the most frequent number,

so 10 is the Mode of this data set.

It's the result that occurred most often.

Alright, so that's the basics of Mean, Median, and Mode.

They are three really useful properties of data sets and now you know how to find them.

But sometimes, the hardest part about Mean, Median and Mode is just remembering which is which.

So remember that "Mean means average",

Median is in the middle,

and Mode starts with 'M' 'O' which can remind you that it's the number that occurs "Most Often".

Remember, to get good at math, you need to do more than just watch videos about it.

You need to Practice!

So be sure to try finding the Mean, Median and Mode on your own.

As always, thank for watching Math Antics, and I'll see ya next time.

Why Controversial Topics are Difficult to Discuss | How to Open Up and Talk About Your Beliefs - Duration: 8:23.

Do you find it difficult to open up about your beliefs due to

criticism? Why is that and how can you learn to speak freely

about what you believe in? Let's talk about that now.

[Autumn Asphodel]

Hi everyone! We are going to be discussing controversial topics,

why they are difficult to talk about, and how you can open up

and talk about them. What makes a topic controversial? Mostly it

is views that people have that there are many different

opposing views. It tends to be things that are very passionate

to people and they have a very strong opinion on, like a

concrete belief where you cannot move it or change it. Things

such as political beliefs, religious beliefs, health and

safety, social justice, and so on are just a few examples. But,

is anyone really right or wrong with these topics? The problem

is that many people with these strong beliefs will try to force

this belief on others, will not listen to anything outside what

they know, and deny other views exist. Due to this extreme

reaction by some individuals, there are people who have shied

away from talking about these things they are passionate

about. Whatever you believe in, you have the right to share it.

No one should stop you from expressing what you believe,

even if it's the unpopular opinion. However, there is a

responsible way to voice your opinion. If you are going around

telling people what they should and shouldn't do, shaming others

into siding with you, not listening to the opposing views,

then you are doing more harm than good when it comes to your

beliefs. Opposing views are important to listen to, even if

you don't agree with them. The act of rejecting new

information, denying it, and using information as proof for

not agreeing with other views, is all a state of cognitive

dissonance and confirmation bias. I have talked about this

and will have an annotation and a link in the description for

you to check that video out. It's the opposing views that

allow us to learn and grow. Without views that are opposite

ours, we would never learn since we would essentially live in our

own world where only our views and ideas are true and exist.

So, the reason then why some individuals have such a

difficult time expressing their views is due to the harsh

reaction by their friends, family, and anyone who

disagrees. We may become silent over things that we are

passionate about, that may be widely accepted, that we

disagree with. We become silent and censored so we avoid

offending others, and/or being criticized harshly and shamed

for our beliefs. So how then can we actually open up about our

beliefs and share them? Let's talk about that now.

To open up and share what you truly believe you have to

realize what your views are. Your true, genuine beliefs. Not

beliefs that you acquired from online resources or news media,

friends or family. No, your real, true beliefs. How do you

feel about the topic at hand? We are easily manipulated and

gullible and believe just anything, and thus these

third-party sources control our thoughts. An example would be

when reading an article or watching a video and then

reading the comments and it changes our mind. How many times

has that happened to you? Get educated and listen to both

sides. As was mentioned earlier, when you are doing your

research, read about both sides. You would be surprised how often

we, when reading or listening to something we disagree with, just

shut it off and go elsewhere. Either that, or we may be

viewing it in such a way that the information doesn't sink in.

While viewing the media that disagrees with our beliefs, we

may be constantly thinking to ourselves, "That's not right

because of this and that." And if this were to actually be a

live conversation with another individual, it would be us not

listening, but rather waiting for our turn to speak our views.

We have to listen and become educated on both sides. You will

receive criticism, so learn to take it maturely. By fighting

back, getting loud and argumentative, and essentially

dismissing what the other person says entirely, then you would

need to find some peace when talking about what you believe

in. The reason we tend to get defensive is because someone is

challenging what we are passionate about. We don't like

that. We don't like to be wrong. But, that is the point of a

debate. A debate doesn't have to be a fight. And lastly, if you

find it hard to talk about things due to shame, then learn

to rationalize that shame. There should be no shame involved when

you speak about a topic since that implies that you feel it is

wrong. Rather, feel the confidence of your beliefs. Make

your voice heard and make a difference. With these steps,

you can voice your opinions and beliefs. If you have any other

input on this topic, I would love to hear it so please feel

free to leave a comment and let me know what you agree or

disagree with, and/or how this has helped you

or someone close to you.

I thought I'd talk a little bit about my own beliefs, or rather

how I can talk about controversial topics. If you are

new to my content or have been around awhile, I'm sure you can

tell that I touch on very sensitive topics. I talk about

things most people don't. Taboo topics are not off limits to me

and I have shared much of my experiences and simply tell it

how it is. But, this trait I have didn't come about

overnight. It took courage to stand up and face the crowd.

I was putting information online that anyone had access to,

including the haters. I've had my fair share of hate and

negativity. Being in the position I am in, I've learned

to deal with the negativity and take it for what it is, either

constructive criticism or pure hatred and negativity that I can

simply let go of. Regardless of what it is, I managed to sort it

all out and am at a place where I can listen to the opposing

views and take what I need from it.

In conclusion, controversial topics are difficult to discuss

as they tend to be things that are very passionate to people

and they have a very strong opinions on. By getting educated

and listening to both side that agree and disagree with our

beliefs, as well as having a mature debate, you can step up

for what you believe in. I hope this information was informative

and helpful to you. Have a wonderful day!

Nintendo Switch Console Unboxing (NEON NINTENDO SWITCH UNBOXING, FIRST IMPRESSIONS + MORE!) - Duration: 9:52.

hello and welcome back to a brand new video

where today we're unboxing the brand

new console from the guys over at

Nintendo yes that's right

today's today you guys we're unboxing

weeks ago talking about my order was

delayed and I might not even get it

formerly they however they got the girls

out there have provided me with the box

which is up here guys

I'm grabbing the books right now here it

is the box from shop to darknet the guys

i order all my license from and yeah

this is the book is quite small like

comparing my head to the box there we go

look there with your presence it's quite

a small world so yeah for the books were

ready to do today's unboxing video and

it should be a lot if you enjoyed

today's video then be sure to a massive

thumbs up subscribe to you going down

below it yours regarding the Nintendo

Swift and without serving let's pop over

to my bed and do the unboxing fault the

intendo switch so here we are once again

on at the famous but we probably done

around 15 unboxing videos on the bed and

you guys seem to really enjoy the bed

layout and shout to the mother thank you

mom for doing the bed once again lovely

pillows as always you going to comment

on the Terrorism you know how wonderful

my mom is so thank you for that guy's

mom does watch these videos and

appreciate all the support you guys give

her anyway today is all about this

wonderful box from shock to don their

and pretty much his books has

information about who i am and so that

was quite a small box so when they get

some yellow scissors and open this guy

right

I think the best way to open this fall

it is where the best way hello there's

nothing that ok here right i think the

best way is to open it from here but

this morning this passage came it really

early and I was in my bed on my phone

and I was like and I was like oh no is

that ends up quickly ran down so I got

some clothes or then I was like hey you

Matthew know that yet here you got all

that yes the intended switches here boys

very exciting right and let me know if

you guys go to midnight lon sure are you

watching this video to see what's inside

and then potentially might want to bind

on and obviously bought this for you

guys doing a boxing video and you know

about 14 stuff right set development up

what's in here we're going to see a

first sign of the intended switch you

have to redo right so we got this

wonderful packaging cool

Oh quite a bit of packaging but if one

size

what can you see in that attend oh oh

here we go for ya

nothing left in the blocks without the

one side and what do we have here ladies

and gentlemen the Nintendo and switch

wow how here in support actually quite

small but you know prepared for ps4

unboxing the rentals in waxings this box

is rather small so here it is open for

the neon version life is an earlier on

you know the colors it's amazing the

gray version

yes you know a little bit bland and this

looks amazing right that's the fun of it

this is a Baltimore there get some

information down here and overall so the

right way around that so you mean attend

a logo some information there

hdmi know what kind of stuff nothing too

important all over here

actually this is rather important I

think you guys will enjoy it

so what does it come with it comes to

the screen it comes to the controller a

charger a charger another controller the

middle dark over hdmi cable call that's

pretty much what's inside this box right

so here it is

no you or anything but getting right

into

action so that's all it all Oh trying to

damage the Box in anyway let's put this

down to one side and let's always quite

all whole lot of questions you anyway

pull down haha whole right-hand turns

over quickly

I'm opening the box for the wrong way

around

that's the Matthew Smith way the

consistent game away anyway right it

says start okay plug this n coming in to

charge

ok so once the charge straight way but

it's open a box oh here we go right here

we go here we go

so we want the screen we've got the joy

Collins so that's pretty good so right

and open this up

oh it was all whole take a look at this

guy here he is

it's actually quite small like my hands

are pretty big but you know this is

rather small

that's good has put it to one side we

don't have the joy on so that's just

pull these guys out

oh here we are oh i just fell out

let's get this guy out as well here we

go

very nice very nice fancy basis it's one

side we then how else you have in the

box so all the footage over here

ok so this is what is left inside the

box we have some intense which

information always handy

we then have the wonderful hdmi cable we

then have the power cable

well so we have here we've got a call

one of the little bracelet things to

make sure that we're flying anything and

actually we have one for the other side

we also have what's in here all busy

controller so when you connect your

switch to your TV you can put the joy

cons and hit wow this is very nice

wow that's pretty good that's one side

and then I believe this is the docking

station that pull this open all good

here it is as freely open this up right

off for falling out here we go for their

egos so

there it is very nice now i believe this

is a a very good way of cable management

so what I intend to have done is they

decided to you if I leave this is

correct so you actually that's the front

of them

you put your intended switch inside and

then you can open this so practice open

and even your AC adapter USB and HDMI

out port and then once you put your

cable them it just goes through there so

that's a very good way of cable

management so this is what we have so

it's nothing left in the books at all so

we have our docking station where r 2

USB ports on the side himself on the

back and yeah that's your docking

station we then have the nintendo switch

itself

hello pretty beast pretty reasonable and

then we have our wonderful for joy and

controllers really attached to that and

then we have this controller instead so

what we'll do is we'll quickly set this

up in terms of adding it together so we

have this yes that's growing openness

and that take out of three all there's

no plastic or anything on the front so

you don't get your finger all

hello hello guys we have a port at the

bottom we don't have to deal with the

joy concepts and then we have a volume

button there on switch then we've got

the game at card reader i was pretty

nice right let's do this let's take this

guy out for walleye went everywhere

throughout this guy and that do that

once here we go

very nice right so how does one do this

i believe it's simply like this what

that was easy

that was easy and oh there haha whole

wow this actually feels really good

I don't like the right way up i do yet

story you have the right way

the idea yeah I just making sure I did

oh there we go what how

there we go Nintendo's switch and then

we do is you don't simply plays this guy

in here when you're not here and there

we go

the Nintendo switch unboxing today we

have a guy that was the Nintendo switch

unboxing video there jnana version all

my days here it is

look how amazing it looks it's just

phenomenal and you guys are going to

yourself potentially in a reflection but

it's just do a little the independence

which do

oh oh yeah look at this guy that it's

amazing

so there's only four guys down below yes

I mean for me it's a great console and

you know i love pokemon exceptions the

hopefully fingers crossed her face and

pokemon games in the near future Oliver

the Nintendo switch but I don't wait if

you have enjoyed today's video then be

sure they massive funders scratching you

go down below your for the regarding the

Nintendo to it and yes it's amazing let

me know if you're going to be picking up

if you are which colors the yankee game

for the gray one are you going for the

neon version 3 and let me know what has

always have a 14 day continues end my

next video audio job

quality living conditions, and everyone demonstrates compassion and equality towards each other.

5D Earth will be without duality, inequality, and diversity, and instead will be founded

on unity, freedom and solidarity.

Lady Gaia is shifting into the blue ray of the universal spectrum.

The 5th dimension is associated with blue, which represents the vibration of unconditional

love and unconditional wisdom.

To live in the 5th dimension, you need to move into the higher vibrations of love and

compassion and dissociate yourself from the lower vibrations of the ego-mind and the negative

elements of duality.

The 5th dimension means everyone experiences the same positive world and new humanity operates

as One.

In the 5th dimension everyone understands and supports this way of being.

In 5D Earth, we stop thinking in terms of whats in it for me(selfish/ego-mind),

but rather the function is on what will benefit all of us.

5D Earth means the desire to serve through unconditional love.

People work together to find solutions that reflect the highest good for all concerned

in every situation.

You do not have to give unconditional love 24/7, but it does mean that you are prepared

to learn and practice divinity, for example you freely volunteer your expertise, knowledge

and skills to help the good of all.

5D Earth is based on solidarity, which means prejudices, elitism, and discrimination will

not exist.

The One Supreme Creator - Duration: 2:25.

The One Supreme Creator

by omnipulse

Remember, there is one supreme creator.

There are gods that people worship of various orders that enable or enhance certain

aspects over another.

So in the question of whether one is performing to this level or to this emotionality, one

could say these are the various gods ( and some say that any pretense of their

being a secondary god or gods is blasphemy and illusion because this will quickly degrade

ones perception of the one true reality).

Whether one exists, the act of creation, the supreme and all surmounting efforts of the

originality, that is only to and from one actual creative source.

There can only be one, that is the whole point.

So the idea is that there can be all these derivations of that source, but remember that

some believe that process in itself is an illusion and these are all false-aspects,

false-lights, or false-centers parading around as the true and one center.

The idea behind the truth?

The idea is that the truth cant be found.

If all people are pointing to their source, their center, and all hands are pointing inward

in a circle, then who are they pointing at?

So the supreme is from every one, every when and all angles, not from one single slice

or array.

To have another look we could say that there is an ability to perceive from all locations

and times in the universe, however there is not a single body or eye from

which this creator is visible at once

Nintendo Switch: 9 Things You Should Know Before Buying - Duration: 11:54.

With the Switch releasing today, it's important to know what the console has in store for

gamers.

We present to you our list of the 9 Things You Need to Know Before You Buy the Nintendo

Switch.

Let's start with the Specifications

Nintendo takes pride in bringing HD gaming and portability together.

So what is the Switch actually made of?

Let's start with the basics.

The Switch has a 6.2 inch multi-touch LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1280x720.

But if you attach it to a TV with your HDMI cable, you can enjoy resolutions of up to

1920x1080 in glorious 60fps.

The console will have about 32 gigabytes of storage space built in.

With the operating system and all, that would leave you with about 25-gigs of free storage.

A little disconcerting, yes, but it does have a Micro SD and SDHC card slot that can support

up to 2TB of space.

It also has bluetooth and wi-fi to connect you to its online store, and to play with

friends.

Now, to more technical terms. The Switch is powered by the Nvidia-customized Tegra X1

with an ARM Cortex-A57 CPU, Maxwell-based GPU and 4GB RAM.

This puts focus on mobile-use and low power consumption common on smartphones and tablets.

And since it uses a different instruction set from modern consoles, this might make

ports from consoles like Xbox and PS4 a little difficult for developers.

This might also explain the reported drastic performance differences between its portable

and docked mode, clocking at speeds that are even lower than the 1GHz that most expected,

plus another 40% reduction on its portable mode.

While the Switch seems a little underpowered on the GPU side, its CPU is a lot more consistent

with docked and portable modes clocking in at the same speeds.

If you've seen the reveal, Nintendo, once again, focuses on couch gameplay.

On top of the online multiplayer, ad-hoc connectivity supports up-to 8 interconnected Switches.

We'll have to wait how creators will put this into use.

Spec-wise, it's a little underwhelming but from the trailers we've seen, the Switch

doesn't seem all that bad either way.

Next we go to their Controllers

Of course, the coolest parts of the Switch are its controllers.

These detachable remotes are central to the console's portability and multiplayer aspects.

The JoyCons are built with a haptic feedback system called the HD rumble which indicate

the movements and actions using intricate vibrations, allowing players to feel the resistance,

weight, and sensations of its virtual objects.

It's perfect for the mini-games of 1-2 Switch, but we're wondering how this will affect

their more traditional titles, as well as future game development.

On its right Joy-con controller, it has a motion IR camera that can tell a target's

motion, shape, and distance.

The technology allows for character creations, and more motion-based gameplay.

For owners of the Nintendo's adorable figures, the right JoyCon also features support for

the amiibo using the NFC sensor on its analog stick.

These JoyCons are gonna have to be charged too.

If they're not attached to the Switch, the JoyCons will last about 20 hours.

It comes with a layout that may take some time to get used to but it's built for different

kinds of gameplay.

Hold them upright like a wiimote, or sideways as a mini controller for multiplayer gaming.

There's even a button to capture images in-game.

Get them in zany blue and red, or in sleek gray.

Of course, there's the new Pro Controller sold separately.

Recent reports have shown this controller working with a PC.

And to those wondering, Nintendo hasn't announced backwards compatibility with controllers

from previous generation consoles.

What about Battery Life?

The Switch comes with a Lithium ion battery, expected to last between 2.5 to 6 hours depending

on the games you're playing.

For power-hungry games like the new Zelda, it might last about 2 and a half hours.

Put it on airplane mode and lower the brightness and it might last a little over 3 hours.

While it doesn't seem like much, it does match other portable consoles like the PS

Vita and the 3Ds.

Once it loses battery, you can charge it up again through its USB Type C port.

You might wanna store up a few of those cables, just in case.

Charging up to full battery will take about 3 hours.

You could also charge while playing using the AC adapter that comes with the Switch.

But for long flights and commutes, it would be smart to get a portable charger.

Another thing, is that the batteries are non-replaceable.

But, Nintendo will eventually be a just call away since they're planning to offer paid

maintenance of the system.

Now for the juicy part, the games…

Unlike the Wii U, the Switch has plenty of games on offer, from Nintendo IPs to third

party projects.

Currently, 16 titles have launched with the console, about 60 more scheduled this year,

and many more to come later.

You can check our Switch video, linked in the description box below, to know more about

the upcoming games.

That's a lot compared to the Wii U's.

For the Switch, Nintendo has done away with CDs and went with a faster and more durable

media storage.

Physical copies of games come in "game cards", modern versions of "cartridges".

They look more like SD cards than the classic gaming cartridges.

Once you install the day one update, you can purchase and download games directly from

eShop.

There's no backwards compatibility with older Nintendo consoles.

Bummer.

Nintendo did do away with region-locking.

Language localization is another problem, though.

With a subscription to the online services, you can also have access to the Virtual Console.

This allows you to play classic games from the SNES and the NES.

You can't own them permanently though, unless you purchase them afterwards.

While it's not available at the moment, it's still a fun addition to the Switch.

The User Interface

We were only offered about three seconds of the UI in the Switch's launch trailer.

But, new details have to come to light.

For example, the white menu design we saw can actually be switched to a darker night

theme, if that's more of your style.

It's clean and uncomplicated, a bit like an improved version of the Wii U interface.

Scroll through your games on the tile-based main menu, and check the time and battery

status on the upper right corner -- all in minimalist design.

There's also a few buttons at the bottom that will take you the the Switch's different

sections.

You can take a look at the news section, an album for all your screenshots, as well as

access to the eShop.

Users can make their own profile, and a maximum of 8 accounts can be accommodated.

Let's talk about the Developer Relationships and Third Party Partners

Nintendo has been surprisingly more open towards independent and third-party developers.

After the beloved SNES era, Nintendo hasn't had a very friendly outlook towards them -- which

is how Wii U turned into the lonely Nintendo-only island that it is.

But, that's set to change.

Many Triple-A developers have announced support for the new console, including Ubisoft who

has a 1-year exclusivity deal for their game Beyond Good and Evil 2.

This list of devs includes Konami, Activision and Bethesda.

More importantly, they've also been very welcoming of indie titles now, showcasing

them in their Nindies program which featured Stardew Valley, Yooka Laylee, and many more.

Creator of Binding of Isaac, Nicalis, has said that the Switch is easy and programmer-friendly.

Nintendo has also launched a global developer program that openly welcomes new and old game

creators.

So we might see a surge of indie titles or ports of mobile games releasing on the Switch.

Sooo… how much?

The Nintendo Switch is launching with a base price of $300 dollars.

A pretty hefty sum for a portable console.

Here's to hoping the price will go down, like the Wii U did in 2012.

But that seems unlikely.

*sniff*

The box includes the console itself, the dock, HDMI and adapter cables, its Joycon controllers

and straps, and the standard grip which allows you hold the controllers like a normal gamepad.

Sadly, no games will be bundled with the Switch.

Nintendo seems to have inflated their pricing rates a bit.

If you want to charge as you play, the charging grip is sold separately at the price of $30.

And, if you wanna play on a more classic controller, their Pro-controller is up for grabs at $70.

Playing with friends will be a little difficult too, seeing as extra pairs of Joycons start

at $80, and $50 for the individual controllers.

And that's not counting the games yet.

But let's move on.

Nintendo's Account

Nintendo's newest account system, the Nintendo account replaces the Nintendo Network ID.

It's a multiplatform system that will be integrated to the 3DS and the WiiU.

You'll have to use this account to use the Switch's online services.

There is one groundbreaking revelation.

Previous consoles would have games linked only to the hardware itself, with no cloud

to back it up.

That means once you lose your console, your games are gone forever.

Unless, you make a phone call to the company, which is still a bit of a hassle.

But, on Nintendo's newest console, you can finally have game purchases linked to your

user account.

That means you can redownload any game you bought.

So, yeah, you might probably still cry if you lost your Switch, but at least you can

still have your games back, at no cost whatsoever...other than a new console, of course.

And finally, let's check on Nintendo's Online World

On launch, Nintendo is going to release a system update to enable the console's online

services.

This will open up the eShop for buying and downloading games.

And allow you to connect to your social media accounts so you can share your gaming experiences

to the world.

The update is also gonna activate online multiplayer, letting you play with other people online.

It will include voice chats and lobbies to make games more fun and exciting.

But, these services come at a price, probably about 20 or 30 dollars.

Subscribers to the service will have access to free offers, and selected Virtual console

titles from NES and SNES.

Unlike the free games for PS4 and Xbox, though, you can't keep them forever.

Also, it looks like Nintendo's learned from its Wii U mistake by having every update download

quiety in the background, letting you use the console while waiting.
