PTE Reading: Multiple Choice, Choose multiple answers
One of the PTE reading tasks is multiple choice, choose multiple answers, and it looks like this.
In this task you will see a question prompt, answer options and a block of text.
You'll notice that the answer options
change from circles in multiple choice to single answer, to little squares in multiple choice, choose multiple answers.
Tip 1: Select more than one response
This task has negative marking which means that if you select an incorrect answer or
you do not select a correct answer, you will lose a point
This means that you must select at least two answers or else you will always receive zero points.
It also says in the instruction to select more than one response.

and the road is closed
and I heard it's going to take like a year to get fixed

but there are other 2 alternatives
one is the interstate 5
it is a straight highway, super boring
but it's the shortest way from Sacramento to LA
you might be able to get to LA from SF in 5 hours
if there is no traffic
I normally don't take it because it's too boring
I only take it when it's like a weekend trip
for instance when we went to Trestles or the Open of Surfing
this is a fast way to leave on a Friday and come back on Sunday
but otherwise, I don't take it
I normally take 101
which is where we are right now
it's also a freeway but some parts go along the coast
it goes through Santa Barbara
and now that we're heading to Malibu
it's actually faster than taking the 5
when you're around the Santa Barabra area
You can see Rincon and many other spots
and after Ventura I take Highway 1
through the Santa Monica mountains, which is beautiful

Sean Spicer: White House is no longer taking questions on Trump and Russia - Duration: 2:01.
The White House said on Wednesday it will no longer answer questions about the ongoing investigations into Donald Trump's alleged links to Russia.
James Comey, fired by Trump as director of the FBI, is reportedly due to testify to a congressional committee as early as next week.
Asked about Comey's evidence and whether the president had engaged in obstruction of justice, his press secretary Sean Spicer replied: "We are focused on the president's agenda and going forward all questions on these matters will be referred to outside counsel Marc Kasowitz."
Kasowitz is Trump's long-time lawyer and has represented him in property deals, divorce cases and fraud allegations at Trump University.
Comey plans to confirm to the Senate intelligence committee allegations that Trump pressured him to drop an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn's links to Russia, according to a CNN report.
The broadcaster also said Comey has discussed the parameters of his congressional testimony with special counsel Robert Mueller, who is now leading the criminal investigation.
The White House made the announcement about its new policy on Russia questions just before the House intelligence committee issued subpoenas related to its Russia investigation. The subpoenas were approved for Flynn and Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen and their related businesses.
Many of Spicer's daily press briefings have been dominated by the Russia saga, much to his evident frustration, even though Trump's tweets have often reignited the issue. His statement on Wednesday suggested that he is attempting to move on and, now a criminal investigation is under way, he feels uncomfortable about commenting without legal advice.
White House communications director Michael Dubke announced his resignation this week and, amid reports of an imminent shake up, there has been much speculation about Spicer's future as press secretary. His demeanour on Wednesday was morose, his answers terse, in an off-camera briefing that lasted just 12 minutes.
Spicer was asked if Trump's late night tweet with the apparent typo "covfefe", which lingered online for hours, is a matter of concern.
"No," he answered gruffly, adding the extraordinary claim: "I think the president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant."
As the room erupted in shouts and sarcastic comments, Spicer smiled briefly but ploughed on to the next question.

Making Oil Paint out of Charcoal - #2 - Duration: 3:19.
Hello and welcome to the second episode of the paint and pigment making series. Today
I am attempting to turn activated charcoal into oil paint. I got the charcoal that
I'm using on amazon and it's very fine and also very messy- which is actually a great
characteristic for pigments.
I start by placing my charcoal on a glass slab and add a few drops of walnut alkyd to
it. Walnut alkyd is my favorite medium because it dries quite quickly and is very stable.
However, linseed oil is the most commonly used.
I then start mulling the pain with my diy oil muller towards a consistency that's smooth
and buttery.And look at that (so shinyyy) .It looks quite coarse and not as smooth as
I'd like but well see how It acts on canvas. Here, I'm testing the charcoal paint out on
a piece of primed canvas. I paint the color as it is, another patch for the color mixed
with white and I usually mix with black but its already black so that would be pretty
redundant. I instead made a gradient going from the lightest washes of the charcoal to
its darkest. I personally think that its a very pleasant black.
I also like to carry out tests on these pigments, usually evaluating them against 3 criteria:
colorfastness, light fastness, and the experience of using and handling them. However this time,
I already know that charcoal is very light and color fast so it will have to already
have full points for those. For the overall experience I would have to get back to you
after 5 weeks and seeing how it dried.So, its been five weeks since I've made this charcoal
paint test. My biggest fear with charcoal was that it wouldn't bond properly, and unfortunately
I was right. The charcoal is coming right off which makes me very hesitant to want to
use it again. I feel like I mulled it well enough, which makes me think maybe charcoal
doesn't work with walnut alkyd. Let me know what you think I could do to try to fix this!
As for the rating, I have to give charcoal a 1 star. It's beautiful but it has too major
of a flaw. Thanks for watching, I hope you found this video interesting and ill be making

Manly Meals: 4 Chicken Lunches Under $4.00 Each - Duration: 7:09.
Four lunches under $4 each!
If you're eating out for lunch, you're probably
spending 10 to 15 dollars or more every day.
By preparing your food at home and
taking it to work you can cut that down
to 3 or 4 bucks. A huge savings!
Today, I'm going to show you all how to make four easy,
healthy, and inexpensive lunches by using
grilled chicken tenders.
Now the way to get these meals so cheap is to buy the
chicken when it's on sale.
I found that Sprouts Farmers Market puts
their chicken tenders on sale for a
$1.99 a pound once or twice a month.
I've got some ready to go here
the rest of the package I put in a
Ziploc bag to throw in the freezer for later.
So let's get cooking!
The first thing I'm going to do is heat
my grill pan over medium-high heat.
So why the grill pan heats up, I'm going to season my chicken.
I'm just using everyday seasoning from Trader Joe's.
All right let's get this chicken on the grill.
While the chicken cooks, I'm going to
start chopping up the vegetables.
Today I'm using a red bell pepper, celery
broccoli, zucchini, carrots, tomatoes, a red onion,
English cucumber, and red cabbage.
After cooking for about 4 to 5 minutes
the chicken should be ready to flip and
you should have some sexy grill marks.

I'm just showing you my method, you're free
to use the vegetables you like whatever
is in season or whatever is on sale that week.
The chicken is ready to come off the grill
after another four to five minutes.
While the chicken cools off, I'm going to sauté
some broccoli and zucchini for one of my meals.
So the first lunch we're going to start
with is the classic sandwich.
But this isn't a Bologna and American cheese sandwich.
This is a sandwich you can be proud of to take to work.
I've gone ahead and toasted the bread,
because I find that holds up better if you make
your lunch in the morning to eat later in the day.
So the first thing I'm going to do is put
some mayonnaise on it. You can use whatever spread
you like mustard, but I'm a mayonnaise guy.
And then we're going to add our chicken.
So I've gone ahead and shredded some
of the chicken here.
We're just going to pile it on the bread.
Oh yeah, this is going to be a good sandwich.
Then I'm going to add my cheese,
I'm using Colby Jack cheese of course you
can use whatever cheese you like.
Now we're going to pile some veggies on top
we're going to start with some red onion
rings and we'll add some tomatoes with
some pickles.
All right and that's it.
Look at that chicken sandwich, you'd
probably pay eight or nine dollars for
this in a restaurant but I made it for
under four bucks it's delicious and healthy.
Up next is a simple healthy salad.
I'm going to pack this lunch in an old
takeout container that I've saved.
It even says right here on the lid reusable,
microwave safe, and dishwasher safe
so there's no reason to waste money on
expensive containers when you can get some for free.
All right, so we're going to start with red cabbage
I'm just going to put a whole bunch of this in there.
And I'm going to add some English cucumbers
tomatoes
red onion
red bell pepper
celery
broccoli
carrots
and Kalamata olives
and finally we're going to top it with our chopped chicken.
Just pile a bunch of that on top there.
For my salad dressing, I'm going to use this
Roasted Garlic and Peppercorn dressing from Sprouts,
it's one of my favorites.
You can of course use whatever salad dressing you like.
Pop that in there
put your lid on
and that's an awesome lunch right there,
keep you healthy.
Alright, next up is a wrap. We're going to go back
to the Roasted Garlic and Peppercorn
dressing and use that as our spread.
You just want to pour a little bit on one
half of a tortilla.
And then you'll use the back of a spoon to kind of spread it around.
I'm going to fill the wrap with
red cabbage, English cucumber, tomatoes,
red bell pepper, and the shredded chicken.
You'll take the edge of the tortilla
wrap it over and under the filling,
tuck in the sides and then roll using just a
drop of spread at the end to act as a
glue to hold the wrap together.
A fantastic lunch for all the low-carb folks out there.
All right my final meal is a chicken pizza.
I've gone ahead and preheated the oven to 400 degrees.
If you've seen my breakfast pizza video
it's a similar concept, if you haven't seen it you should
check that out as well.
So the first thing we're going to do is start
with some Trader Joe's garlic naan,
that'll be the base of our pizza.
And when you top that with some mozzarella cheese.
Then add the sautéed broccoli and zucchini
chopped chicken and a little more cheese.
And we're going to pop it in the oven for about 8 minutes.
Oh man, this pizza smells delicious
and it looks amazing.
All right there you have it four easy, healthy,
and inexpensive meals all under four dollars each.
A huge savings compared to
eating out for lunch every day.
