Today we will prepare semolina halwa which is liked by everyone and can be prepared too easily and instantly.
So whenever you crave for something sweet or some guests arrive at home then prepare this semolina halwa instantly.
Start with roasting the semolina for making the halwa.
Heat a pan and add some ghee to it.
Keep some for later use.
Allow the ghee to melt.
Add semolina to it.
Thickly textured semolina remains good for making the halwa.
Stir constantly and roast the semolina until it gets golden brown in color.
Keep the flame medium.
Semolina has turned golden brown and turned fragrant.
Semolina is roasted well, now we will add water to it.
We have taken 1/2 cup semolin so we will add 1.5 cups of water, followed by 1/2 cup of sugar.
Cook the semolina for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame so that it puffs up.
In the meanwhile cut the dry fruits.
We have taken 8 to 10 cashews and almonds, each, chop them finely.
Also we have 4 green cardamoms, peel and make powder.
Semolina has puffed up, stir it up nicely.
Now add some dry fruits to it.
Keep some cashews and almonds for later use.
Also add 1 tbsp raisins, cardamom powder and mix everything really well.
Cook the halwa a little more until it gets dense.
Halwa has turned dense in consistency and is now ready.
Transfer it to a plate and turn off the flame.
Garnish with some dry fruits.
Pour another 2 tsp of ghee over the halwa.
Ghee floating on the surface of halwa tastes super.
Mouth drooling and tasty semolina halwa is ready.
Making this halwa is really easy, just keep note of few things.
Keep the flame medium while roasting the semolina.
Stir the semolina constantly while roasting it.
