This is a continuation of work on restoration of the model T-34-85.
First, I will show you the problem which arose in the course of the experiments.
I tried to make rolls, bags of polymer clay.
Forgot and left not baked polymer clay on the plastic.
As a result of plastic melted.
The place did not seem critical and I hope to be able to fix it.
Now that was done without a camera. First - I did the armor-plugs for turret.
They are small.
To them need to add chain.
Here is how it looks inserted in the turret.

Also today, I want to assemble the turret and the wheels set from the MSD, reviews you could see earlier on my channel.
If have enough time, I'll try the the metal barrel and some photo-etched parts from Aber.

The problem was worse than I thought. In this place plastic stay as rubber and had to remove it almost completely.
Now I will putty this place and try to align.
Used the Tamiya putty. The layer is sufficiently thick, will leave for a day to dry.
In order not to waste time, will assemble the turret.
I want to note that parts docked perfectly.
Let's look closer. As you can see, it fit quite good.
Although during the review phase I was sure of the opposite.
Let's try it on the hull.
Fits well.
And let's try metal barrel from Aber.
Includes tight, will need to adjust.
The turret will need to be heavier because the barrel is over-weight.
The top plate of the turret fits well, remains the place to simulate a weld.
Here is the T-34-85 with wheels from MSD and tracks from FriulModel.
Adjusting wheel I will use from Zvezda's set. It It is more suitable for my tank from a historical point of view.

The main rollers will be the same, or maybe I will add 1-2 of the other set.
About the putty, I was very surprised, I twice applied it. But it has visible shrinkage and stays dent.
Now I'll apply the third coat, I hope this will be enough to fix the problem.
While drying putty, I have prepared details of the top plate. At first look all fits well.
That's how it will look.
As I already said, it will need to add welding seams and imitation molded armor.
Now I will continue to work with the armor-plugs. They need to make holes and add PE chains.
First make a mark and make a small hole with a thin drill.
Then use a drill bit thicker and then more thicker.
In the end, using a sharp knife, make by the size of our armor-plug the hole.
The hole is ready, now we need to add chain.
The length should measure about three lengths armor-plug.
The chain can be carefully glued with super glue.
Here's how it looks.
Second the armor-plug I'll leave inserted in turret and there is no need to chain.
Most likely the armor-plug with chain I will move to the other side.
I think the turret looks more interesting with these elements.
