🆕How To Present UltraWide 21:9 Content on Youtube in 2017 - Duration: 2:55.Hey Guys!
This is a quick and short video to all of the Cemu content creators in our community
who are jumping on the 21:9 bandwagon.
You guys need to take advantage of YouTube's new player to properly and most effectively
present this type of content.
There should be *No black bars* in your videos while in Theatre Mode.
This means that you need to record your footage at the proper 21:9 resolutions and not just
use the 21:9 hacks while recording in standard 1920x1080 res.
I'm not intending to single Yam out here - I think it's fair to say that Yam makes quality
content and in that regard is a leader here in the community as a content creator - but I'm using YamGaming's
latest video as an example because it was the most recent 21:9 Cemu video posted in
the Cemu Discord and unfortunately is by-far one of the worst offenders so far to date.
If you are in YouTube's default view and you look at my 21:9 ZELDA video that I posted
yesterday and then Yam's 21:9 video posted today - side by side they don't look different
from one another.
However the difference lies in the black bars.
My black bars are put there by YouTube.
Yam's Black bars are there from her original recording and you'll see this difference here
in each of our videos in a moment.
This is what a video that isn't properly recorded in 21:9 looks like on YouTube!
When I open each of these videos up into Theatre Mode while using the New YouTube Material
Design player, the difference is dramatic!
It's black bar city on any video that wasn't properly recorded!
This is a 21:9 Cemu recording on a traditional 1080p monitor.
And *this* is a 21:9 Cemu recording in a proper 21:9 resolution.
Yam, makes some quality content so I was really surprised to see this on her channel.
These black bars shouldn't be there.
Now, no one would know this, until the enter Theatre Mode, and in the *New YouTube Material
Design Player* this is where true 21:9 content shines - especially on traditional 1080p monitors.
It completely fills the entire width of the player and your monitor.
This is going to be a trend for some time so I thought it would be good to make this
video in an attempt to inform the rest of the content creators in the community.
I think 21:9 content on YouTube looks amazing with YouTube's new Material Design video player
and I hope you all can continue to find new ways to push the boundaries to make Cemu look
even more fantastic.
So I'll leave you with that to think on.
In the meantime, feel free to check out my technical demos of Youtube's new Material
Design video player showcasing 21:9 hacks in Cemu.
The link to activate the new player as well as all of my 21:9 content is in the description
below.
As always..
Thanks for watching, keep on creating awesome content guys and I'll see you in the next one!

COD4 REMASTERED BEING SOLD SEPARATELY!! - Duration: 3:34.what is going on guys it is your boy Yogge here and today I'm bringing you
guys a new video today I just want to say sorry for the lack of uploads
mainly because there's been no basically nothing on Call of Duty for the past
week it's been Drive but today we have our first piece of new information I'll
be talking about that after we roll the intro but first I just want to say I'm
sorry for a little bit of going up and down with the videos you know I'll put
it for like three days and then I stopped and then one day and then I
stopped in two more days so that's not going to happen anymore I'm going to be
uploading every single day I'm gonna be trying my best at least for the whole
summer for this month and next month or way to still make yeah somebody uploaded
today all the way throughout June and July and yeah even some of August I got
before we roll that intro I just want to say tell me what you guys think in the
comments that what you guys think about remaster being so separately do you guys
think is going to happen I have some proof in the video also leave a like if
you guys are still at 400 or 2 news on that it's coming soon because III is
happening soon so we're session man won't see I'm sorry but uh yeah anyways
guys let's throw all this intro
so this might not appeal to a lot of your lease that's what I'm thinking but
if you have remastered there's really no point in watching this video maybe there
is if you're buying remastered for somebody else
basically it's being sold separately now we all knew this was going to happen
really did in a way and we actually got a little bit of a leak of the listing
and you guys know whenever it's a listing it's kind of official because
that's why our chronicles we knew a month back that there was a listing but
nobody really made a video on and we're not to talk about it because they didn't
think it was real but a lot of the times when there is listing it's gonna be real
so listing in Japan on Amazon somebody shared this screenshot through Twitter
and it says called the demographer remastered and it says import vision
North America and it says platform ps4 you actually see everything all there
obviously the money I believe is like Japanese money outlets in Japan so well
yeah this is our first actual like new week that this will be sold separately
and I told you guys it's starting June 20th on ps4 now they also have a
different listing for the Xbox one but this one is being released on July 20th
which obviously means ps4 will get mono remaster 30 days early and that's
happens with DLC as well so I'm not surprised if this is real so that's the
more proof for this is that a retailer named Gamefly believe is supposed to be
like a game stop a little bit but anyways they've also had a listing of
mono fairy masters separately and they also had the same date June 20th also
late last month two German retailers also listed called the new monarch for
remaster release date on their website for June 23rd but those listing sins
have been removed so that is really really big proof in my opinion because
when the listings do go up they get put down and usually that means it's real
again guys Activision has not stated when or yet model for a master or even
if it's going to be you know sold separately but this is really really
good and big proof that it is so yeah so much you guys seen by the comments down
below but what usually there is a listing it's usually real
obviously they get put down it's most likely real bi television guys seen by
this in the comments down below I don't think a lot of you will be like
surprises this because a lot of us already have remaster you bought it
what's infinite warfare because a lot of us couldn't wait but if you ever got any
matches yet this is a really is a good time and a really good
opportunity basically for the video some once you guys thing about the commas
number two like I said leave like if you do videos I'm really healthy and uh yeah
see guys on the next one

ATHEISTS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT BECAUSE THEY OVERRIDE RELIGIOUS INSTINCT, STUDY CLAIMS - Duration: 5:39.ATHEISTS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT BECAUSE THEY OVERRIDE RELIGIOUS INSTINCT, STUDY CLAIMS
A study has revealed a possible explanation for the negative correlation between intelligence
and religion.
Researchers in the Netherlands and UK are suggesting that perhaps religion is an instinct
and being able to overrule religious instincts leads to higher intelligence.
The researchers published a paper in Evolutionary Psychology Science and in it, they suggested
an Intelligence-Mismatch Association model.
They have argued that religion is an evolved domain, in other words, an instinct.
PEOPLE ARE MORE OPEN TO NON-INSTINCTIVE POSSIBILITIES They said that if religion is a domain that
has evolved then it is nothing more than an instinct, and intelligence, when it comes
to solving problems rationally, is understood as overcoming instinct and being intellectually
curious.
Therefore people are open to non-instinctive possibilities according to Edward Dutton,
the co-author of the Ulster Institute for Social Research over in the UK.
The ideas of the researchers have been based on the work of Satoshi Kanazawa, the evolutionary
psychologist, and the Savanna-IQ Principles.
According to this people have not changed all that much from their ancestors which were
savanna-roaming, so the argument suggests that psychology has been strongly influenced
by how the first people on Earth dealt with the world.
BIG NEGATIVE ASSOCIATION WITH RELIGION AND INTELLIGENCE An analysis of 63 studies revealed
that there was a huge negative association between people and religion and how intelligent
they are and this is a trend.
On average atheists are said to have more intelligence than those who follow a religion,
it is not an indictment of a single persons ability.
There are some religious people who are very clever and there are some atheists who are
not considered to be very intelligent.
Dutton developed the model with Dimitri Van der Linder, co-author, at the Rotterdam University
and they looked at the generic link between intelligence and instinct.
The focus of their study was on instinct along with stress, as it was said that people are
usually more instinctive while being showing less rationality at times that are very taxing.
Intelligence and rationality were said to help people to deal with being able to act
instinctively during such times.
STRESS MAKES PEOPLE ACT MORE ON INSTINCT Dutton said that if religion is a domain that has
evolved, an instinct, then it is going to be heightened when people are stressed and
those people are more likely to act instinctively and there has been some clear evidence of
this happening.
He went on to say that it means that intelligence gives people the opportunity to be able to
pause and reason during situations and consider the possible consequences of any actions that
may be taken.
In the problem-solving ability of people, this has consequences that are crucial.
Skill is said to be important in how we now live in an environment that has changed.
The way that people live now had changed dramatically during the past 11,000 years and behavior
that is instinctive may at times be counter-productive according to the researchers.
The researchers have called this an evolutionary mismatch, what at one time may have been an
advantage for ancestors that used to hunt and gather, may now be bad for people living
in todays world.
This is one debate that will continue on as human psychology does a field that is very
complex and takes some understanding, along with lots
of research.

Top 10 Things That'll Make You Hate Kim Kardashian a Little Less - Duration: 12:51.Top 10 Things That'll Make You Hate Kim Kardashian a Little Less
10.
She has promoted awareness of the Armenian genocide
Kim Kardashian has used the media to promote many things: beauty products, clothes, vitamins,
and even prescription drugs, a viral marketing attempt that earned her a warning from the
FDA.
However, in addition to the social media campaigns that have lined her pockets, Kim has used
the media to advocate for something more surprising: recognition for the 1915 Armenian genocide.
The United States, among other countries, does not recognize the deaths of 1.5 million
Armenians after their expulsion from Turkey as a genocide, something the reality show
star, who is of Armenian descent, has sought to change.
In addition to posts on social media, Kim unsuccessfully campaigned for President Obama
to refer to these deaths as "genocide," saying that her efforts to bring attention
to the issue stems from the fact that, "We have this spotlight to bring attention to
it, so why would we just sit back."
In 2015, the 100 year anniversary of the genocide, Kim, Kanye, North, and Khloe all traveled
to Armenia, a trip that brought more attention to the cause, as it was featured
on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians and included a visit to Armenia's Genocide
Memorial in Yerevan.
Additionally, the star allowed her words to be used in a 2016 full-page ad in the New
York Times, slamming the Wall Street Journal's decision to accept ads from those who deny
the Armenian genocide as, "totally morally irresponsible."
Kim's attempts to bring attention to a largely forgotten chapter of history, and the deaths
of hundreds of thousands that occurred, show that she has a conscience and that she can
use her command of social (and offline) media for important causes, in addition to highlighting
the products she hawks.
9.
Her honesty reduced the stigma around fertility challenges
Kim Kardashian has in many ways been a poster child for TMI, publically disclosing, among
other things, her preferred sexual positions and her unfortunate tendency to pee all over
her Spanx.
However, in at least one case, Kim's willingness to open her life up to the public gaze has
likely done some good: her openness about her fertility challenges.
In the United States, one in eight couples will experience struggles with infertility.
Many suffer in silence because of the stigma surrounding the inability to have children;
a recent survey of infertile couples showed that a majority hid their challenges from
their friends and family.
Silence around infertility has consequences: feelings of isolation and depression for affected
couples, a lack of advocacy and funding for fertility-focused research and treatments,
and a general lack of awareness of how common struggles with infertility are.
Kim Kardashian has done her part to lift the veil around infertility, showcasing her struggles
to get pregnant with her second child on Keeping up with the Kardashians and in media interviews.
In discussing her decision to be transparent about the travails of infertility,
Kim said, "I didn't know that I was going to be so open…But meeting people at my fertility
doctor's office who are going through the same things I'm going through, I thought,
'Why not share my story?"
In this one instance, we're glad Kim decided to share.
8.
She regularly visits patients at a children's hospital
While Kim has previously commanded hefty appearance fees for showing up at clubs and reportedly
once earned more than £400,000 for a couple hours of being a date to a Saudi Prince, one
place where she's repeatedly shown up for free shows that the reality star isn't just
out to line her wallet.
Over the years, Kim Kardashian has been a frequent visitor to the Children's Hospital
of Los Angeles (CHLA), where she hangs out with sick kids.
Kim started visiting CHLA in 2008, after a friend's child got sick.
Since then, she has paid numerous visits to patients there, sometimes bringing her sisters
or husband Kanye with her.
She'll drop off presents, hang out to paint nails or capture a selfie with a patient.
Some kids have requested that she post pictures with them to her Instragram account (and her
tens of millions of followers), so they can get a taste of the celebrity life.
In 2013, Kim and sister Kendall even showed up on Christmas Eve to spread some holiday
cheer to patients and staff who had to be at the facility over Christmas.
One CHLA executive says that Kim's involvement has buoyed families and staff, noting, "Her
positive spirit and genuine concern for their situations has lifted up many families during
unimaginable times."
Kim notes that the positive vibes go both ways, saying in a statement, "My family
and I always love to come here [to CHLA], and throughout the year try to pop in and
put a smile on the kids' faces, or more importantly, the families that are struggling
so hard to still work and take care of them and not wanting to leave their children by
themselves…We love being a part of this community and helping out."
7.
She has made interracial relationships more acceptable
The United States Supreme Court ruled in 1967's Loving v. Virginia that laws prohibiting interracial
marriage were unconstitutional.
But while this ruling opened the door for the legality of interracial unions, social
norms have been slower to adjust.
By 2014, a survey showed a record-high 37% of Americans felt that interracial marriages
were a good thing for society, though 9% still felt that this trend was negative for society.
Some research suggests that media representation of mixed-race relationships helps to promote
more accepting attitudes towards such unions.
And whatever you think about Kim Kardashian, her marriage to Kanye West has certainly provided
a very salient example of an interracial relationship across numerous media platforms.
When Kim and Kanye graced the cover of the April 2014 issue of Vogue, Kim was quick to
point out that the issue made history, saying, "There are a lot of firsts.
Kanye's the first rapper to be on.
I'm the first reality person to be on, we're the first interracial couple."
So, the next time you flinch at another story about "Kimye," take some solace in the
fact that the duo's overexposure may be helping to promote more tolerance.
6.
She's encouraged women to embrace their curves
Sure, Kim Kardashian's famously ample booty "broke the internet" when she showed it
off in a 2014 issue of Paper Magazine.
An alternate version of the cover showed her with a champagne glass balanced on her behind,
a feat that caused Kim to take a swipe at her detractors, tweeting, "And they say
I didn't have a talent…"
Whether or not her butt-related balancing feat qualifies as a talent is debatable, but
Kim's curves have had an impact well beyond stemware storage.
In an essay, Kim noted that she hoped that her body-positive attitude and willingness
to proudly bare it all, "can encourage the same empowerment for women and girls all over
the world."
At least one unlikely celeb is thanking Kim for making curves more acceptable.
Helen Mirren celebrated Kim's "shameless and proud" attitude.
While Mirren said she was "not into the Kardashians, it's a phenomenon I just don't
find interesting," she added, "It's wonderful that you're allowed to have a
butt nowadays!
Thanks to Madame Kardashian and before her, J.Lo.
We're also allowed to have thighs now, which is great too.
It's very positive."
Heidi Klum echoed those sentiments, crediting Kim for having "changed the look in the
fashion industry."
Sounds like curvy women everywhere, and those that enjoy seeing curvy women, owe Kim and
her shapely figure a debt of gratitude.
5.
She upped the pool of potential bone marrow donors
When Kim heard about Adam Krief, a friend-of-a-friend who was seeking a bone marrow match to combat
myelofibrosis, a rare form of blood cancer, she quickly took to Facebook and Twitter encouraging
fans to join the registry to see if they might be a match for the 31-year old father of three.
Overnight, the organization coordinating the donor registration drive saw requests for
donor kits (to take a cheek swab) soar to 300 times their usual levels, with more than
5,000 kits ordered in the 24 hours after Kim's social media appeal.
Given that Kim's fans tend to be younger, and younger people are more likely to have
mixed ethnic backgrounds than older people, there was hope that in addition to maybe containing
a match for Adam, these new donors might match some mixed-race patients who are desperately
waiting for a donor, but who are harder to match because of their relatively unusual
genetic profiles.
Krief did eventually find a bone marrow match, but sadly, died shortly after his transplant.
However, the impact of efforts he spurred live on; the donor drives that Kim helped
promote have resulted in 7 matches as of March 2017.
4.
Kim asked for donations to a children's hospital instead of creating a baby registry
for North
When Kim's sister Kourtney created her baby registry in 2012, some were surprised at the
mundane nature of her requests.
No fur-lined slippers were to be found, instead just the standard repertoire of diaper pails
and teething rings.
When Kim gave birth to her daughter, North West, in 2013, she and Kanye took their registry
to another level of pared-down practicality.
Rather than requesting gifts, the parents-to-be asked friends, family, and fans to instead
make gifts to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, which is located near
where Kanye grew up.
The couple publicized their request after several fake registries surfaced online.
The thankful hospital announced that any gifts received in honor of Kimye's bundle of joy
would be directed to the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund.
Forgoing a registry didn't mean that Kim skipped a shower.
Friends and family celebrated the impending arrival with a swanky garden brunch, with
attendees wearing floral crowns.
Frankly, we think that asking for charitable donations instead of "stuff" is one trend
Kim is linked to that deserves a crown!
3.
She and Kanye gave 1,000 pairs of shoes to charity
Like many new moms, Kim Kardashian was flipping through the channels during some breastfeeding
in the wee hours of the night.
However, when Kim came across a show called Dish Nation, which was profiling the efforts
of a teen girl to collect 2,000 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls, a charitable organization
that had helped the girl's family after Hurricane Katrina, she was able to support
the efforts in a way most viewers were not.
Kim promptly committed to donating 1,000 pairs of shoes, on top of the 1,000 pairs the girl,
Amelia Flores, had already collected.
The 17-year old was surprised and thrilled to wake up to the news of the shoe donation
and said she was "so grateful for the overwhelming response."
A few weeks later, the shoes arrive at Soles4Souls, where organization President and CEO Buddy
Teaster noted, "The quantity and quality of the Adidas and Kardashian Kollection donation
from Kanye and Kim Kardashian West is really extraordinary…
These shoes are going to make a real difference and we're grateful for the awareness that
came from Kim's post and the commitment both of them have shown to helping men, women
and children in need."
2.
She's nice to the staff
Yes, everyone should be kind to their employees, but as many tabloid articles and tell-all
books can attest, celebs are often terrible bosses.
When the Kardashian family's nanny and ex-housekeeper spilled the beans, some members of the famous
family definitely fit that mold.
The ex-nanny portrayed Kris Jenner as a demanding control freak, who once swore at her for forgetting
to purchase broccoli, but noted that Kim was always "sweet and friendly."
The ex-housekeeper blasted Kourtney as "by far the most rude and unappreciative member
of the family, and noted Scott Disick was "constantly drunk."
But other than mentioning that Kim left a trail of makeup and discarded clothes in her
wake, the housekeeper had kind words about Kim, whom she described as "humble and down
to earth."
The housekeeper noted that she would often chat with the staff and was generous, surprising
a staff member with the gift of a computer at Christmas.
While it does sound like some members of her family set the bar awfully low, Kim wins points
for her relatively kind behavior towards others, even when the cameras were off.
1.
Her enthusiasm for spray tanning could save lives
In the US, skin cancer is on the rise, with some experts blaming tanning beds for increasing
rates of melanoma.
What does this have to do with Kim Kardashian?
Well, Kim generally sports an even bronze glow, but she's been pretty honest about
the fact that her "Tanorexic" complexion often comes from a bottle.
At one point, she posted naked pictures of herself during a midnight spray tanning session.
Her family has even lent its name to a line of spray tan products.
What's great about celebrating fake bake?
Anything that gets people excited about tanning in a way that doesn't involve sun exposure,
or especially tanning beds, has the potential to help reduce dangerous behaviors that contribute
to skin cancer.
This is particularly true of Kim's young, female fan base, whose skin has a lifetime
ahead of it.
The more Kim vocally touts the glow (and abs?) she gets from her spray tan, and the more
young women who get their tans from a bottle instead of a tanning booth, and the fewer
cases of dangerous melanoma we're likely to see.

Millennials Choose To Spend Money On Travel, Dining, And Fitness - politics - Duration: 9:36.Millennials Choose To Spend Money On Travel, Dining, And Fitness Than Save For Retirement:
Survey
Millennials save more of their income than older generations. Dont believe it? Look
at a recent survey by Merrill Edge, which found millennials say they save 36% more than
their general population counterparts report as over a third stash away more than 20% of
their salary per year.
As for what theyre saving for, thats another story. Whereas baby boomers save for
retirement, millennials want financial freedom and save for a desired lifestyle rather than
exiting the workforce. Millennials would rather spend money on travel, dining, and fitness
than save for their financial future. They are also more focused on certain milestones
like landing their dream job or traveling the world, and are less worried about getting
married or having kids. Bottom line, millennials are saving, just for shorter-term goals as
compared to their parents.
Where were you thirty years ago? My parents and many of our readers likely remember the
stock markets ascension to record highs before the sudden crash of 1987. A few decades
later the capital market is back to flirting with another peak, but the loss-averse nature
of people leaves past financial crises clearly imprinted into memory.
The Atlantic put together 41 pictures for a glimpse into 1987 that captured a wide variety
of figures and events during that year. One such portrait included passengers on the F
train in New York reading the newspaper after Black Monday. The front cover of the
New York Post read Wall St. Bloodbath in huge bold letters and Panic selling
sweeps market: P.5 at the bottom of the page. Six clocks sat between the two texts,
reflecting the events global reach.
Here are some other descriptions of pictures from that time to highlight just how different
our world is three decades on:
Now-President-but-then-private-citizen Donald Trump greets Liza Minelli backstage at Carnegie
Hall, along with his then wife Ivana Trump, and Henry and Nancy Kissinger. Fast forward
30 years (almost to the month) and likely much to his disbelief at that time hes
currently representing the free world by traveling abroad and meeting with foreign leaders. Far
cry from real estate deals, that. The vice president of marketing for Compaq
Computer Corporation shows off the new Compaq Portable III at the Mark Hellinger Theater
in New York, which weighs just 18 pounds so that its easy (!) to carry. Now not only
our computer but phone capabilities rest in just one device and fit right in our pockets,
with the iPhone 7 weighing as light as between 5 to 7 ounces.
Then First Lady Nancy Reagan watches an anti-drug musical, Just Say No, at a high school in
Alexandria, Virginia. Tough to imagine now about two-thirds of Americans live in a state
where some form of marijuana is legal. The momentum continues in that direction as well,
with 60% of Americans favoring legalization of the drug according to a 2016 Gallup poll.
About 200,000 people (according to US Park Police estimates) rally on the National Mall
in support of gays and lesbians. Fast forward and we now have marriage equality.
Bernie Sanders, then Mayor of Burlington, Vermont, records songs and a conversation
about his philosophy on tape: Sanders feels music is a powerful way to communicate with
the masses. Little did people see just how much he would connect with the masses
this past presidential election, particularly among the politically hard to reach millennial
cohort. For more photographs down memory lane, heres
a link to the article with everyone from David Bowie and Princess Diana to Pee-wee Herman
and Howard Stern: Thirty years ago, baby boomers were in their
twenties and up, and now their kids ages span from nearly twenty to their mid-thirties.
As those old photographs show, however, millennials experience in their twenties and thirties
vastly differs from their parents socially, culturally, and economically. We therefore
have different values and goals, which even extends to our financial lives.
A recent survey of over 1,000 Americans conducted from March 21st to April 5th by Merrill Edge
showed a stark generational divide about different groups life priorities. Some of these findings
may come as a surprise. Here are the results:
Top life priorities: millennials are the first generation to plan long-term for financial
freedom instead of retirement. Most (63%) millennials are looking to save a set amount
of money or income necessary to enjoy their desired lifestyle, compared to the majority
(55%) of Gen Xers and baby boomers who are saving so they can leave the workforce.
Millennials are significantly more likely than their older counterparts to focus on
personal milestones of working at their dream job (42%, compared to 23%) and traveling the
world (37%, compared to 21%). Additionally, todays 18- to 34-year-olds
are also far less likely to emphasize the traditional family milestones of getting married
(43%, compared to 51%) and being a parent (36%, compared to 59%).
Spending patterns: most millennials are more likely to spend money on travel (81%),
dining (65%) and fitness (55%) than save for their financial future. The report attributes
this to FOMO, or the fear of missing out. Savings: millennials say they save 36%
more than their generational counterparts, with more than one-third (36%) setting aside
more than 20% of their salary per year. As for overall respondents, 42% are saving
less than 10% of their salary, while 7% dont save anything.
Ironic given that Americans think the Greatest Generation (54%) does a very good job
of saving, followed by baby boomers (45%), Gen Xers (19%) and millennials (8%). In
fact, just 15% of millennials think of themselves as good savers. So even though 45% of millennials
consult their parents always or often for financial advice and think theyre better
savers, its the opposite. Consequently, Americans arent saving enough
and feel unprepared for uncertain scenarios. Most Americans are not very confident they
would be able to achieve their financial goals if they were to: get a divorce (71%), have
children (64%), live to 100 years old (62%) or outlive their significant other (48%).
The problem, they are not financially planning for these scenarios either, with only 5% saving
for the possibility of divorce and 23% for the possibility of children.
Therefore, 59% of respondents think Americans should be required to save for their own retirement,
and 48% believe financial education should be required.
Technology: Two in five Americans report using an online or mobile portal to manage their
investments. Respondents also say using these platforms has a positive impact that
makes users feel more knowledgeable (51%), empowered (31%) and savvy (14%). Going
forward over the next decade, Americans believe emerging technologies will allow more people
to invest (41%) and that a majority of investments will become automated (34%),
the 401(k) account will no longer be the gold standard (29%), and the market will be
dominated by women (13%). As for robo advisors, one in eight (13%) Americans
currently use one or would consider it in the next year. Zeroing in on millennials,
however, brings this figure up to 22%. Link to the full report.
The upshot: whereas baby boomers save for retirement, millennials want financial freedom
and save for their desired lifestyle rather than seeking to exit the workforce. Americans
may view older generations as better savers, but millennials actually take the cake there.
They just have different priorities that are shorter-term than their parents. Of course
this could pose risks for millennials when they finally grow to their parents age
and beyond, but this survey shows a clear way for financial professionals to best reach
them: on mobile where they already give most of their attention, and addressing their unique
take on life goals.

Questions | VEDIM - Duration: 3:03.Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome to day 30!
Yesterday was Memorial Day obviously, I hope you all had a good day, whether if you were off or not.
Today, I don't really feel like doing...anything really.
So I'm just doing a casual...Hi, how are you doing? How was your day yesterday?
What did you do? I didn't really do anything yesterday, we just didn't want to go anywhere or deal with people's craziness.
Also, I wanted to know what you think of VEDIM. Have you enjoyed it?
What feedback or suggestions would you have for next time?
If I do a full month of daily vlogs again.
I'm taking any ideas.
I also wanted to ask you another question.
I have a book called "Weird Washington."
So I was wondering--this book is basically...
Their sub-title is: Your travel guide to Washington's local legends and best-kept secrets.
It has stories about...ghost stories, local legends of strange creatures, or...
Aliens, close encounters... All different kinds of stories. Some really happened, some are total myths.
I was wondering...I know most of you aren't actually from Washington.
So I'm curious if you would be interested in me taking excerpts every once in a while, and reading stories from this.
Is that interesting to you or nahh don't do it? Let me know.
Also, if you're curious or if you were paying attention when I showed you the book cover.
It originally started with "Weird U.S."
Then the authors realized that people really liked that book, it was really popular.
So they decided to go ahead and do for individual states. I don't think they have one for all states, no.
I don't know they will do one for all states or they're still working on it, or... I don't know, I have no idea.
But I do know they have New York, New Jersey I think.
I know there are more states so if you want to look for your state, go for it!
That's all I guess? Short and sweet today. Let me know what you think about VEDIM.
How your Memorial Day was, how are you now? What you think about this book.
And... Thanks for watching.
