Does
America Need A Northern Border Wall?
Keeping track of people legally entering and leaving the United States is a formidable
task.
Nevertheless, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released figures on people who overstay
their visas and other legal forms of admissions.
Total overstays for 2016 stood at close to 740,000 people, of which up to 630,000 were
suspected to still be in the country.
As Statista's Dyfed Loesche notes, Canadians and Mexicans are the biggest groups of people
with non-immigrant admissions to the United States that overstayed their lawfully authorized
time period.
However, the DHS only counts in arrivals and departures by sea and air as stated in its
report.
Unlike all other countries, the overwhelming majority of visitors from Canada or Mexico
enter the United States by land.
"The collection of departure information in the land environment is more difficult than
in the air and sea", the DHS writes.
While many Canadians or Mexicans could fly in ore arrive by boat they might leave the
U.S. across the land border.
So, there's always a degree of uncertainty in the data.
While Canada and Mexico are the United States' direct neighbors the figures for the rest
of the countries shown in the below above probably are more accurate.
This overview includes countries that are taking part in the so-called visa waiver program
(VWP) and those who dont.
It only shows data for leisure and business visas, not for students.
The DHS admits that there is a level of uncertainty in how accurate these numbers are and calls
them a snapshot.
For the air and sea arrivals and departures the department relies on data that commercial
and private carriers need to provide.
Also, the figures include suspected in-country and out-of-country overstays.
This means that some of the people who initially overstayed might have already left.
All of which raises the question - does America need a northern border wall also?

SAO: Hollow Realization - Abyss of the Shrine Maiden Chapter 3 Details & Patch Notes!! - Duration: 4:27.
Hey everyone, welcome to my channel, it's me Gamerturk and we finally have the patch
notes ready for the third DLC Chapter of Sword Art Online Hollow Realization, "The
one who opposes God".
If you are wondering about the DLC 2, "Tuner of Causality"
information, click the icon on the upper right corner.
Patch notes and things that will be included in the DLC 2 has been
known for a while now and while it does not have a release date for west, it is already
out in Japan, so it cannot be all that behind.
Follow me on twitter, facebook or SAO Amino App for iOS and Android and you will be among
the first to know.
But let's jump to the information regarding Chapter 3, which will bump the game up to
version 3.20 and once again, thanks to TFBO on SAO Game News Wikia for translating
all the information on the Japanese DLC page.
As usual, small warning here, these translations might differ from the official
translations when we actually get them and get ready to make sense of things on your
own, as fan translations can be tricky.
We are starting with the new skills that will be added to the game!
A fan favourite for those who watched Mother's Rosario arc
and Ordinal Scale can rejoice.
Yuuki's Original Sword Skill, Mother's Rosario is being added to the game and can be used
by both Yuuki and Asuna, as well as by Kirito.
In addition to that, Rain will be getting her OSS from Lost Song as well as with
Chapter 3, she is getting the Thousand Rain Sword Skill, which is again, usable by Kirito,
by completing an Enigma Order, similar to Mother's Rosario.
In addition to those, with Alice and Eugeo being added to the game in the third DLC,
they will also get their unique skills.
For Eugeo it will be "Sword of Blue Rose Armed Complete Domination 'Liberation'" and for
Alice "Sword of Osaka Osamu Armed Complete Domination 'Liberation'", but expect
these names to be tweaked for western localization of course.
In addition to Alice and Eugeo, a character called "Zero Premiere" will be added to the
game.
Now, I haven't finished chapter 1 yet, so I do not know if we meet this character
in DLC 1 or not, but she will be playable in DLC3.
There is also an additional fourth character, but TFBO says it is a spoiler
for DLC2, so I'm not gonna delve more into that.
Naturally, there will be a new main story, that expands upon and most certainly concludes
the Abyss of the Shrine Maiden package, which will take place in another brand new
area called "Ellion Ward, heterogeneity world".
There will be brand new Enigma Orders for you to complete with various rewards
as well.
A brand new high difficulty dungeon will be added, which will feature 100 randomly generated
floors and cannot be attempted in Multiplayer mode.
3 new Heroine Quests are being added, for Alice, Eugeo and Argo and once you complete
them, their skills will reach their Mastery.
Of course there are brand new Bed Scenes as well.
As mentioned in the previous news videos I made, Alice and Eugeo will
get their bed scenes and in addition to those two, spoiler character will also get a bed
scene.
Once again, there is the mention of "intimate conversation at night" being added for certain
characters and that target characters are Yui, Klein, Agil, Seven, Rain,
Alice, Eugeo and Spoiler Character.
Character Creation and the Visual Attire Vendor is getting additions.
The hairstyles and armor of Strea, Philia, Kizmel,
Seven, Rain, Alice, Eugeo and Spoiler Character are being added to the respective options,
though you need to complete certain conditions to unlock the visuals for
Alice and Eugeo.
And last but not least, the level cap will be increased to level 150.
With that, we come to the end of DLC3 patch notes.
If you enjoyed this, please make sure to hit that like button.
For the release date announcements, as I mentioned, subscribe or follow
me on facebook, twitter or SAO Amino App and I will let my audience know the moment it
gets announced.

What's Inside My #Purse? | Jenny Lorenzo - Duration: 3:45.
Ah, Instagram.
Instagram, Instagram.
I remember when Instagram first started.
And now it's a massive app.
It's a wonderful app.
You know?
Just another way to update people on what you're up to.
Woo!
Like what you're eating.
What you're doing.
How great your life is.
And, hey!
I gotta use it.
It's a necessary evil.
So I think a lot of us.
A lot of us utilize Instagram as a means to pass the time.
When we're trying to avoid talking to someone we don't wanna talk to, when we're pooping,
or when we're, I dunno, sitting at the dentist office.
So recently it hit me.
You know?
There's certain Instagram accounts or even some friends of mine who post photos, right,
of the contents inside their bag or purse or suit case.
And it's, it's gorgeous.
It looks like it should belong in a magazine, right?
Like Cosmo or whatever shit you people are reading nowadays.
Everything's laid out neatly, super cute.
"Traveling light today!"
You know, like, "what I've packed for the zoo!"
You know, it's always this cute little bag from, like, ModCloth with a little, like,
vintage Polaroid.
You know, like...
Some sunglasses.
Which now people are calling "sunnies".
And I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.
Now before you get upset, okay, I understand.
Sunnies is a term that people in Australia and in the UK call sunglasses.
That's fine!
That's great.
I think the reason why I personally do not like "sunnies" is because in high school,
a lot of girls in my class referred to their cell phones as "cellies".
"Oh my God, give me your number!
I'll put it in my cellie".
No.
Just...
I always envied those photos because I'm like, shit...what's wrong with me?
My purse is always full of shit.
I'm a disorganized mess.
I'll tell you that much.
I'm surprised I've gotten this far in life.
I don't have a lot of purses.
I don't really care for them.
I've been using the same purse for about three years now.
So I thought I would do a realistic representation of what's inside my bag.
And I think a lot of people's bags.
Alright?
Let's keep it real now.
Not everyone in the world is that neat and pristine and cute all the time.
I'm a little scared.
Because I don't remember what's in there.
Here we go!
So, yeah, that's what's in my purse.
So what do you guys have in your bags?
Come on don't be shy.
I showed you mine so you better show me yours.
And this isn't just for the ladies.
I want the guys to show me what they've got going on in their bags or murses or fanny
packs.
Whatever it is you use to store your junk.
I'm not referring to your... okay.
I lah ju!

Rentabilité / Rentability Cloud Mining Monero #1 - genesis mining - Duration: 4:47.
Hi guys, hope u doin good !
Fisrt of all, thx to all new followers and
subscribers during my journey, means a lot for me !
Today we continue calculation of rentbility
and today it's Monero time !
The second crypto we can mine on genesis-mining.
Like on video for the Ethereum, same informations = prices when i do the video.
Also 3 simulations = 60 H/s, 1000 H/s et 3000 H/s.
Like usual, to know if profitable or not.
For the first one, 60.
Power and power cost still 0.
don't touch difficulty (will change like all others altcoins)
Price 0.018668, we are good !
Hardware Cost = 48.49 $ with promo code for 3% off.
Click Calculate
So we have 0.21$ daily and 6.21 $ monthly.
ROI = 234 days (7.8 months) and 12.82% per month.
A currencie.....Monero is rising too.
Good rise and can be a good one in top 10-15 of altcoins.
Second simulation,
1000 H/s and price 794.43 $
Here and price...
4 days less, 230 days
Near 7.5 months, not big.
It's not very significant.
3.45 $ daily and 103.43 $ monthly
2 years contract, no fees, like Ethereum.
For the third simulation,
It's not.......difference is not big...
for 2327.03$.
6 days less.
Not also significant here too.
10.34 $ daily and 310.30 $ monthly.
A little less than 7.5 monthsfor ROI.
And 13.35% per month...not big but.... still profitable cause 2 years contract.
Monero will evolve and price will (for me) rise in long term.
Here's what u need to know about Monero. Up to u to buy contracts.
Monero is profitable,
and will be more if price pump like others altcoins, if u have some in stock ;)
See u guys maybe tomorrow for an other video,
Ethereum rentibility will be done.
And in 2 days, back to Monero.
i will alternate between those 2 until others comes back.
That's why i put date, to have a "follow" on all
simulations we do here and when price change.
Have a nice day guys !
Thx to subscribe and if it's not done yet, smash this button ! :p
If u have questions, i aswer as fast as i can, so u can go on as much as u can ! ;)
Have a good day guys ! SEE YAA !!! PEACEEEE OUTTT !

Ward vs. Kovalev 2 Preview Show (HBO Boxing) - Duration: 27:31.
MICHAEL YORMARK: Legacies are built on seminal moments
when the challenge seems insurmountable.
Back in November,
the two best pound-for-pound fighters
in the world tested each other
like they had never been tested before.
World champion Andre Ward faced a defining moment,
and countered with an epic comeback victory
over Sergey Kovalev.
After that showdown, there was a lot of talk.
A lot of debate. A lot of speculation.
And yes, a lot of excuses.
But on June 17th, we will put all that talk to bed.
Because Ward-Kovalev 2: The Rematch... is officially on.
These guys don't like each other.
And let me tell you, it's genuine.
He don't deserve respect from me.
What he has to wrap his brain around is,
there's nothing scary about you.
ROY JONES JR.: Both of these guys wanna win.
Both of these wanna inflict pain on the other guy.
REFEREE: Mr. Ward, Mr. Kovalev, let's do this.
Here we go.
MAX KELLERMAN: Ward-Kovalev one was a great fight.
JIM LAMPLEY: Stiff jab by Kovalev.
Hard right hand for Kovalev!
I was convinced this was gonna end early.
I think Andre Ward showed people a lot about himself.
You really wanna see what Ward can do?
LAMPLEY: Andre landed a hard right hand.
A lot of times, you gotta bully the bully.
He fought a smart, perfect fight.
KELLERMAN: You are watching greatness.
The pure, almost genius level of talent of Andre Ward.
That's been the standard of my career.
You've seen the fight, I've seen the fight.
LAMPLEY: This is building toward being a great fight.
He's used to having his way. I'm not going nowhere.
Nothing that's gonna stop him,
not Sergey Kovalev or anybody else.
JOSH DUBIN: When a bully gets punched in the face...
the bully pees down his leg.
Sergey Kovalev was shocked.
There's nobody in the ring.
You had an opportunity to finish me.
I didn't feel it.
Where was "The Krusher"?
MICHAEL BUFFER: And new unified light heavyweight
champion of the world!
Do you want a rematch?
Of course. And I will kick his ass.
I'm very much in this guy's head.
Yeah, I wanna destroy him.
He took what does not belong to him.
It's a unanimous decision.
Witnesses is here. Witnesses are here.
You can keep tweeting on your phone over there.
Everybody saw what happened.
You can cry and complain.
All three judges got it wrong?
DUBIN: Well, you didn't get your way.
You ain't getting your way. You're not gonna get your way.
I will finish his career.
It's gonna be me and him.
I think... there's unfinished business here.
(CROWD CHEERING)
KELLERMAN: Andre Ward is a special fighter.
He is the challenger, moving up in weight
and taking on the consensus baddest man in the division,
light heavyweight champ, Kovalev.
ANDRE WARD: The look on most of these guys face,
especially fight week was "Yeah, we hear you talking,
but you bit off too much this time."
KELLERMAN: One of boxing's best offensive fighters,
a knockout machine,
who has just rampaged through the division,
destroying everything in his path.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
-(BELL RINGS) -(CROWD CHEERING)
I thought the first fight was very competitive.
I really thought it could have gone either way.
It was what I consider a David vs. Goliath event.
I remember saying during the fight at a certain point,
"Only a great fighter will win this fight."
You have to be great to win a fight like that.
I thought the first fight was two classic styles.
The pure vicious puncher in Sergey Kovalev,
and the game-studied, defensive, almost genius level
of talent of Andre Ward,
and I think when you bring those together
you have the potential for a real high-level chess match,
which is what we ended up seeing.
BERNARD HOPKINS: Sergey Kovalev, I spoke to the man,
and he asked me who I thought won,
and I said, "No comment."
That was a close fight.
I thought Kovalev won a close decision.
I was in, I guess, what you can call the minority,
having Andre Ward winning that fight, 114-113.
He fought a smart, perfect fight.
And he made Sergey Kovalev fight a fight
that no one had seen him fight, in 30-plus wins,
with almost 80 percent knockout ratio on his record.
That was a game changer.
-KELLERMAN: Oh! -LAMPLEY: Down goes Ward,
on a perfect right hand shot!
LAMPLEY: Never has he tasted thunder like that before.
The second round stood out just 'cause of the knockdown.
Kovalev's a big puncher. He's got a monstrous right hand.
For a second, with Sergey Kovalev,
one little second, you get off your mental...
Done.
It's lights out.
CHRIS MANNIX: At that moment,
having seen so many Sergey Kovalev fights,
I was convinced that this was gonna end early.
See, that smile means, "you got me."
-(CROWD CHEERING) -Seven!
"I'm glad I'm up, but that was good, Sergey".
LAMPLEY: Kovalev wants to finish.
He's gonna go for it right now!
I got hit with his best shot, and was fortunate to get up.
TRAINER: Look! Look at me!
I think Andre Ward showed people
a lot about himself in that round, you know?
He was hurt. He says he wasn't hurt,
but I think he was hurt.
You know what we're here for! You great.
Don't worry about a knockdown. Don't even entertain it.
This guy's never lost since he was 13 years old.
Well, I guess this is the reason. Here we go.
Now go out there and turn this around, 'Dre.
Do it!
LAMPLEY: It's an uphill fight for Andre Ward.
KEITH IDEC: Sergey Kovalev can really punch.
You're like, "Man, this guy might be the monster
that everyone says that he is".
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
Try to fight while you hurt.
Try to fight while you don't even have your legs,
let alone your bearings.
That's where you're in trouble. Andre Ward recovered so quick.
You've seen the fight. I've seen the fight.
He recovered within seconds!
That is training. That is important.
But it's also... it's also the man.
You really want to see what Ward can do?
He got up with that fire in his eyes.
Oh, now Andre's getting off the deck,
and it's not against some kind of guy who landed
a lucky punch, that punch was landed by design,
by a guy who knows how to end fights.
A lot of times, taking a good punch isn't a talent.
You make up your mind, and you're stubborn about it,
that I'm not going nowhere.
KELLERMAN: He needs to risk a knockout to win this fight.
Says that Andre Ward's got a lot of guts, a good jaw,
a big heart. He's here to win, he's saying to himself,
"there's nothing that's going to stop me.
Not Sergey Kovalev or anybody else,"
and that's what he did.
He basically dictated the whole fight...
and the other dude has just complained since.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
Judging from Kovalev's reaction when he put Ward down,
I think he had a feeling that it was...
he had it.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
Absolutely. He missed an opportunity.
Anytime you knock someone down,
when you get him in that position...
they don't see another round.
(CROWD CHEERING)
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
He tried to alter the next four rounds
to land that one perfect shot.
And in doing that, he kind of, used a lot of his energy.
That might have messed with Sergey's psyche.
That was a hard shot,
and everybody else didn't get up.
When a bully gets punched in the face
and a bully hits you with his best shot
and you get up,
the bully pees down his leg.
And that's what the bully did.
He had no plan B,
because he thought that he would land his best shot
and that would be that, and that wasn't that.
HOPKINS: How do those things happen
when you're used to doing something
and it's going your way,
and now you run into that one guy...
that gets up and fights you tougher, and stronger
than the first three or four rounds.
And I think that Sergey Kovalev was shocked.
WARD: He's used to having his way.
He's used to dictating, before fights, during fights,
and he wins a lot of his fights merely on his reputation.
We had to catch up. That was where the focus was,
to win the next rounds one at a time,
and get into the fight.
And just take it round by round. Mm-hmm.
We gotta win every single round. You hear me?
KELLERMAN: He's gonna have to weather the storm
and rough Kovalev up.
Where it really went in another direction
was right around rounds four and five
when Andre Ward made that championship level adjustment.
I think Kovalev took his foot off the gas a little bit.
If I were in the corner, I would have been yelling
"Sergey, gawd donnit, jump on him!"
You know? 'Cause that's what you gotta do.
KELLERMAN: Now what are you gonna do, Andre?
Do you have a plan B? Yes. Plan C, yes. Plan D?
He has plans A through Z.
A lot of times, you gotta bully the bully.
He doesn't like you in his chest.
TRAINER: This is what the greatness is.
There's nobody on that level who is that adaptable as Ward
who can be in the middle of a situation,
whether it's going for him or against him,
and react to what his opponent is doing better.
Robinson got up, Leonard got up,
Ali got up. You got up! Do it!
I've never really had to come from behind like that,
and to prove that to myself, the biggest moment of my career.
I feel like it took me to another level.
However you want to encompass what happened
in that first fight,
something changed in the middle of that,
one guy was able to make the adjustment,
the other guy, Sergey Kovalev, was not able to.
Of cour-- I mean, Kovalev dealt with it very well,
but that's one of the things that Andre does well.
Those who would say, "Well, that threw Kovalev off,
what Kovalev should have done"-- Yeah, okay.
You go in and do that against Andre Ward, you know?
What Kovalev did was totally excellent.
You know, we're used to him blowing people away.
There's nobody in the ring, you know?
The first four rounds, like, I didn't feel it.
But in the fifth round, my energy... finished.
Andre cracked this code with this man, uh,
what they call "The Krusher."
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
I'm with the fans, going... seeing this fight here.
Honestly, Sergey brought another guy in from Russia to speak.
So during the fight, I was limited on what I could say.
(INDISTINCT CHATTER IN RUSSIAN)
So how are you gonna limit me on what I can say,
when I've devised a plan for you to fight this kid?
Now you're going to another guy,
I don't know what he's telling you.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
He-- I've never seen him fight.
First time I've seen him in my life so I know he's not a boxer.
There were a couple of rounds that could have easily gone
either way.
If you're going to give those close rounds
where not a lot happened to Sergey Kovalev,
the thing you have to ask yourself is,
"What did he do to win those rounds?"
You know, you judge a fight,
you say to yourself at the end of the round
"Who hurt the other guy more than the other guy hurt him?"
And in my mind, Sergey Kovalev hurt Andre Ward
most of the rounds.
I thought Sergey Kovalev clearly won the tenth round.
But I remember turning to the guy next to me and saying,
"Well, that stopped the momentum."
(LAUGHS)
There's no question Sergey Kovalev won
the tenth round. I mean, come on.
(CROWD CHEERING)
(BELL DINGS)
LAMPLEY: A tremendous fight.
WARD: It wasn't what I expected.
I expected more.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
It's never been, like, you know, after any pro fight,
"I don't know if Andre won. No, no, you know Andre won,
everyone knows Andre won".
But for the first time...
he was, you know, "...I don't know".
(BELL DINGS)
And there's something about the beneficiaries
of bad decisions in boxing,
where they're painted as the bad guy.
They don't score the fight.
And of course they think they won, right?
If we went on the basis of how fighters felt
at the end of every fight,
every fighter would be undefeated, right? So...
LAMPLEY: Michael Buffer has the paper in his hand.
It was a very difficult fight to score,
and I didn't envy the judges job that night.
I think either way they scored it,
the loser of the fight could have had a problem
with the score cards,
which Sergey Kovalev obviously has had.
BUFFER: 114 to 113,
to the winner by unanimous decision.
In my opinion, there's no question
that Sergey Kovalev hurt Andre Ward
in most of the rounds,
and he did more damage, and he deserved that decision.
BUFFER: And new unified light heavyweight
champion of the world...
Andre Ward!
It just wasn't a good decision.
I mean, there's no question in my mind
that Sergey Kovalev got jobbed. (LAUGHS)
He was pissed.
What did you think of the decision?
Nothing.
WARD: Like I said before the first fight,
you know, they said,
"Why do you need to win this fight?"
I said, "Because if I don't,
I won't be given the benefit of the doubt.
That's documented".
"What do you mean?"
I said, "I have to win."
I said, "If he loses, he'll get a pass".
"Well, I don't understand".
Really, I disappointed for judges' decision,
-like, It's... -(SHOUTING FROM CROWD)
See, people say, like...
I won this fight, and everybody agree with this.
You had an opportunity to finish me.
You knocked me down in the second round.
Where was The Krusher?
Witnesses is here. Witnesses are here.
-Everybody saw what happened. -(CROWD CHEERING)
MANNIX: If you watch Andre Ward's reaction
as the decision is being announced,
he's almost surprised that he came out with it.
BUFFER: And new...
I don't think Andre thought "Boy, I got a gift there."
But I'm sure he felt that, "That was a close one,
and maybe I got away with one".
I think Andre Ward deep down thought it was possible
that he lost that fight,
and that's why he had the reaction that he did.
I've seen that many times.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
WARD: I mean, can I not be happy?
I just won the light heavyweight championship of the world.
I've been boxing a long time. I knew it was a close fight.
One hundred percent, I was elated and happy.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
EGIS KLIMAS: I called him at night and he says,
"I re-watched the fight,
and there is no way I lost that fight."
I've challenged anybody to sit with me
and show me where he won the fight. Anybody.
So far, no takers.
I'm a guest here in U.S.A. He's a local,
and all judges was from U.S.A.
He's on record saying that, "Forget fighting in Nevada,
I'll fight him in Oakland".
Can you imagine if I got a close decision
in my actual hometown?
The sky would fall. There'd be a riot.
I think that's a little sour grapes
on the part of Sergey Kovalev.
I thought he won the fight, so I understand his perspective,
but I don't think that it was Andre Ward being favored
because he's American.
I would say there might have been more incompetence
on some of the judges' parts,
than there was any kind of home cooking.
It's a unanimous decision.
You think all three judges got it wrong?
But that's been the standard in my career.
Inside of him, he really knows, but he can't show it.
If he would be a true man...
he probably would take those belts
right there in the ring,
bring back and say, "Look, man...
I didn't win this fight. This belong to you".
That's what I would do.
He would grow into everybody's eyes.
He would become an icon. But he doesn't think about that.
He wants that unreal glory.
He took what does not belongs to him.
-Do you want a rematch? -Of course.
Of course, I want a rematch. And I will kick his ass.
I think... there's unfinished business here.
And no matter what Andre wants to say,
I think he recognizes that.
You know, they shouldn't have gotten past round two.
-KELLERMAN: Oh! -LAMPLEY: Down goes Ward!
(INDISTINCT CHATTER)
We haven't seen a rematch like this in a long time.
After falling short in November,
Sergey has become his own personal hype machine.
In one of his latest tweets, he demanded:
"Andre, pray to me."
Sergey, I think what you are trying to say was:
"Pray for me."
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
You gonna curse on social media and show your bu--
Hey, we're not into all that.
You can keep tweeting on your phone over there,
you can cry and complain, and all that,
that's what bullies do when they don't get their way.
Bullies make excuses, and bullies try to intimidate
when they don't get their way.
Well, you didn't get your way, you ain't getting your way,
you're not gonna get your way.
He not deserve respect from me.
MANNIX: Maybe it's a tactic, maybe it's now he really feels,
but there is a dismissiveness to Ward
when he's talking about Kovalev.
I don't care about an Instagram.
I don't care about that stuff, man.
This is chess, it's not checkers.
You could make all the moves you want to make,
but it's about the checkmate.
This man for me, mean nothing, you know, like he's a...
-(SPEAKS RUSSIAN) -He thinks too much of himself.
He's walking like he has a crown on his head.
I'm very much in this guy's head
and I've learned more about him...
post-fight, in the last four months,
when-- How he dealt with adversity...
then I could have ever learned about him in a 12-round fight.
I didn't get to where I'm at
because there's something weak about me.
I didn't get to this point by happenstance.
The reality is, he's gotta see me June 17th.
That's the reality of the situation.
And whether you're with me... or whether you're against me...
Don't miss this fight. June 17th.
He got what he asked for.
I'll make it short and sweet... (SIGHS) Uh...
My greatest hope for June 17th,
is that the winner wins this time.
REPORTER: What do you want to do to him when you see him?
Punch him. I want to punch him.
I will get this opportunity.
YORMARK: These guys don't like each other.
And let me tell you, it's genuine.
They don't have to like each other,
it's a fight, you know. (CHUCKLES)
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
(LAUGHS) I think that pretty much sums it up.
(LAUGHING) Sergey's...
coming to end your career, and that's it.
(CAMERAS SHUTTERING)
I think the animosity
from Sergey Kovalev's point of view,
is that Andre Ward has kind of made it seem
like he won the fight convincingly,
when, obviously...
a lot of people thought that Sergey Kovalev won the fight.
Sergey Kovalev's really the first fight that he's had,
where at the end of it, there was any doubt
as to whether Andre Ward had won or not.
What some may think is hurting me; "Oh you...
you know, you lost in it"... that's fueling me.
And that's actually helping me.
He really is being a sore winner and I find that surprising,
uh, and telling, and very revealing.
I think, probably the biggest thing Andre Ward is offended by
is Sergey Kovalev saying, repeatedly,
that he's afraid of him.
He's clearly not afraid of him, he's now fighting him twice.
There's nothing that keeps me up at night.
There's nothing-- Be afraid of a rematch?
I just fought you for 12 rounds.
You know, the first fight was, essentially,
the first half of this contest. Rounds one through 12.
They're fighting a 24-round fight.
They didn't realize that's what they signed up for,
but it turns out that that's what we're gonna get.
We're halfway through now.
Well, you know, it's funny,
Sergey's only fought two rematches...
And if you look at the outcome of those fights...
he absolutely obliterated both of them.
Sergey might be the most...
inherently bad man (CHUCKLES) I've come across.
Thank you, Serg, once again.
-No (SPEAKING RUSSIAN) No. -Why not?
You know, you talk to him and even when he's...
being really nice to you, you know that,
one way or the other, he was going to wind up
earning money from hurting people,
and is going to want to, not only win the rematch,
but to do so in a way that causes
Andre Ward actual physical pain.
He obliterated Darnell Boone,
just blew him away, that was it,
and as far as Jean Pascal, who he had bad blood with,
he didn't knock him out quickly, quite deliberately.
He just prolonged the beating.
Having a personal dislike for his opponent
just makes him better.
Let's put it this way... we saw
in the ring, Sergey Kovalev, but not Krusher.
We will see Krusher.
Run.
KIERAN MULVANEY: If Sergey Kovalev
loses twice in a row,
no matter how controversial the verdict might have been,
this is a guy whose whole image
is based on him being this indestructible force.
If Andre Ward beats him twice in a row, that's gone.
Sergey did not have his path lined with gold medals
or premium network TV deals when he turned pro.
This is a guy who five years ago was a non-entity. Literally.
He really worked hard to get to where he got,
so quickly, from where he started, and, uh,
he is not willing to go back down there.
I think he's very anxious to get into the ring
and to take what is belong to him.
HOPKINS: He wants to go right to the dance again,
and correct...
what perceived to be wrong, right.
Andre might have to get off the canvas
one or two more times
because I believe Sergey is gonna come bring that force.
This is gonna show a lot about Andre
more than the first fight, I believe.
I don't talk about this stuff.
I keep his personal business out of it,
I'm not gonna go there,
but I know what's going on in that camp.
WARD: Unfortunately, this is a very small business.
I mean, I don't go searching for this information.
Our phone is ringing off the hook...
about habits, about mindsets,
about his reaction after the fight.
Internally, not publicly.
And it's confirmed everything we thought.
Andre conversely, is stunned by the sense that,
a lot of fans, a lot of media felt that he didn't legitimately
win the first fight.
Then he wants to make sure that this time,
there's absolutely no doubt.
His work ethic has been amazing. He preparin' for war.
You could knock him down once, you could knock him down twice,
he's getting up and he's beating you.
Period, end of story.
I don't think Kovalev understand what he's gonna be dealing with.
Is that a serious question?
Who's got the edge? Andre had the edge before,
and he's got the edge after,
and he's got the edge for eternity.
Sergey Kovalev has to give us a little bit more
than he gave us in the first fight.
Do a lot more, give us a lot more,
turn it on a lot more.
We know Ward makes good tactical adjustments in the ring,
what kind of adjustments can Kovalev make?
MULVANEY: Is he just gonna have to rely on his power?
Has he got something else up his sleeve?
No.
And I know a lot of people think it's absurd what I'm saying,
but...
I see Sergey quitting.
MULVANEY: Andre now knows
that he can be hurt by Sergey Kovalev,
which isn't a shock, but also, that he can get up from it.
I think Andre Ward is a puzzle that
there's not a boxer who's been able to figure that out.
I think he's gonna be the last one standing
with his arm raised.
The more I think about it, the more I think it's Kovalev,
because, I think the feeling is,
Andre got away with one.
That was by the skin of his teeth,
and he was fortunate to get the decision.
And it was Kovalev who showed he has the power to hurt Andre,
dropped him with a right hand, but hurt him with a jab,
and probably deserved to win the first time.
And that was with Andre pulling out every stop.
REPORTER: Do you need to punish him,
as revenge for the last fight?
Yeah, I want to destroy him, you know.
It's gon' be me or him.
'Cause I'm not gonna be hard to find.
Expect a much more fired up Sergey Kovalev.
LEDERMAN: I think that if he knocks him down,
he's not gonna let him get away.
Hopefully we're not gonna have a judge,
who not gonna let wrestling,
who not gonna let dance,
who's gonna be ordering to fight.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN)
We are in a fighting business, not dancing.
LAMPLEY: Down goes Hopkins!
We got two dangerous fighters...
MULVANEY: ...who are gonna wanna leave the ring
without any doubt, whatsoever.
No one wants to leave with that taste in their mouth.
Andre Ward, starting where he left off...
This time it would behoove Sergey Kovalev
to knock Andre Ward out.
A little bit more punches... and to-- to his face.
I'm trying to make him quit.
We have no idea what to expect.
I think it goes 12 rounds a second time.
YORMARK: I don't think it's gonna go 12 rounds,
I think Andre is gonna knock him out.
I would predict knockout.
I will kick his ass, 100 percent. Believe me.
WARD: What he has to wrap his brain around
is there's nothing scary about you.
I will finish his career.
Total domination and artistry.
We will see Krusher.
There will be no excuses after June 17th.

These Powder Kegs Are About To Blow Trump Needs To Halt The Downward Spiral That Obama Orchestrated - Duration: 5:14.
These Powder Kegs Are About To Blow Trump Needs To Halt The Downward Spiral That Obama
Orchestrated
by Tyler Durden
Authoreed by Jeremiah Johnson (nom de plume of a retired Green Beret of the United States
Army Special Forces) via SHTFplan.com,
President Trump just took a trip to Saudi Arabia in an effort to obsequiously shore
up the ties.
Expected.
It is expected for any U.S. president to recertify the Petrodollar and the commitments to protect
the House of Saud that were initiated by Kissinger and Nixon almost five decades ago.
Times change, and administrations change; however, the systems in place are very slow
and resistant to modification.
The BRIC nations are shoring up their interests as the U.S. continues to send more naval support
for South Korea in the form of another aircraft carrier.
In order to keep the MIC (Military Industrial Complex) happy, defense contracts have to
be on the rise: A Republican administration is the foundation for this.
The creation of a threat is ongoing.
The creation of a threat (whether viable or not) is essential to justify the defense contracts
and the ongoing deployments of U.S. troops that were initiated under Obama and are continuing
under President Trump.
The MIC is too deeply lodged within the framework of the government to extricate in one fell
swoop.
It is inexorably intertwined with the fragile (almost skeletal) domestic industrial base
of the U.S. economy, as well as all of the foreign policy instituted at home and carried
out abroad.
Europe is redefining itself with Britains exit from the EU, and NATO is trying to maintain
ties and commitments with Britain even as she dumps the Eurodollar and cuts the economic
ties to the other nations.
Yes, the three super-states as outlined in Orwells 1984 are well on their way
to taking shape: Eurasia, Eastasia, and Oceania (North American and Great Britain).
The sides are posturing themselves both economically and militarily, with several loose ends
to ties up.
Those loose ends are none other than Syria and North Korea, around which there are two
different lines forming: The U.S. and Western allies, and Russia with its Asian and Middle-Eastern
alliances.
The U.S. Congress and the MIC want to invade Syria, and then Iran.
They also want to clear things up in Korea.
These nations are in the way of the establishment of a U.S.-controlled hegemony in the areas
and a face-off with Russia.
The first part of it is economic in nature: to attempt to stalemate Russia and China with
sanctions and interference in trade (such as the maneuver previously mentioned in other
articles to run a natural gas pipeline from Qatar into Eastern Europe).
The Russians have pretty much taken over the Arctic in terms of exploration and mining.
This was enabled to be brought about by none other than Obama, along with the islands off
the coast of Alaska that he magnanimously gave away. Obama has left us in very
dire straits in our position with the rest of the world: The Middle East is still in
a shambles from the Arab Spring and all of the debacles in Egypt and Libya; the
Eastern European question is not yet solved in relation to Ukraine and the tug-O-war
over it between the U.S. and Russia; Syria and Iran are powder kegs about to blow;
and the potential for war with North Korea is far from exhausted.
The President is going to need to take the initiative in order to halt the downward spiral
that Obama orchestrated and began prior to his departure.
To avert at (the minimum) a new Cold War, hell have to sit down and do a face-to-face
with Putin instead of dispatching Tillerson to play ping-pong periodically with Lavrov.
The time is now to head off these alliances between other nations that exclude the U.S.
to a detriment.
Such economic alliances eventually always turn into military alliancesbased on the
need to preserve the flow of money between the nations involved.
We do not need another Cold War to materialize.
The way to stop it from occurring is through sound diplomacy and strength of position,
not through imperialism and posturing.
Therein lies the challenge: the restructuring of iron-clad policies and institutions so
as to make a better deal and position for the U.S. and really draining the swamp
of Washington.
Saudi Arabia, eh?
Well, why dont we start out the new deal by going into all of that untapped
oil that we have domestically?
What are we waiting for?
Or is it just a matter of not wanting to tick off the Saudis and changing the status quo
of our worthless fiat Petrodollars?
Only time will tell whether true actions will be taken and not another dog-and-pony show
to enable the President to be reelected.

How to Paint a Sailing Boat and the Sea - With Oil Paints - Narrated - Duration: 4:49.
Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!
I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will paint a sailing boat
with oil paint.
We begin by painting the background.
As you see I´m using a white canvas.
And the color is simply a mix of a Flake White and King´s Blue Deep.
In the description below the video I will add links to these materials
in case you want to see them.
So we add this light blue color doing short strokes, in different
directions.
I want a lighter tone at the top, and then by adding
more blue and less white, I am darkening it, a little bit.
Not very much!
Then I´m adding some stripes which are also not very contrasting.
The idea is to get a result which is pretty elegant and nice to look at.
A fresh and peaceful view.
These lines of course will be for the waves.
We lay down the paint
and then smudge it a little bit.
So that we don´t have a hard edge.
Like this.
And another one.
Very good!
I will be adding a long version of this tutorial, to my Patreon account.
You are very welcome to subscribe!
If you wish in that way you can also support this channel.
I mentioned that I want the upper part lighter, so I´ll give
it another layer of white.
Which I mix in with the existing color.
Since it is all fresh.
Emm-- this upper part is going to be the sky.
But we will not have a hard and visible line that divides
the sea from the sky.
It will be merged and lost one with the other.
It is a bit foggy.
A nice, fresh, foggy sea.
I love the sea!
We add some more of white down here, which are reflections
of the light sky.
Or of the clouds, I should say.
And here, I´m painting the mast of our sailing boat.
It is a long mast.
And then the little boat down here.
For this I´m using blue black, with a little white.
I will darken slightly the front and the bottom part, of the boat.
And let´s add some lines.
These are for the sail.
And we start adding some white precisely on the sail.
The Sun will be here.
But just barely visible, just translucent.
And for the I´m using a Titanium White, which is a bit brighter.
And we smudge it with the fresh paint of the sky.
Down here let´s add some reflections of the Sun.
Very good!
A little bit more color to the sail and boat, and then let´s add the reflection
of it... like so.
The reflection is not totally straight is a curving, zigzagging, or broken line.
Well the reflection can be in many ways and it depends a lot on the magnitude
of the ways.
If the water where totally flat like a mirror, then the reflection
of course would be a lot straighter.
But here since it is the sea even that it is calm, there are some waves.
Finally we add some brilliant spots, some reflections, and it´s ready!
If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends, and subscribe
to Fine Art-Tips and to Patreon.
You know where to follow me, the links are below.
And I will see you on Tuesday ;)

Aumeo Talkthrough Video - Duration: 8:23.
Hey, it's Joey for Digital DJ Tips
right now taking a really quick look at
this this is Aumeo and it's a littlel box
that optimises your headphones based on
your hearing. It works by filling in the
gaps in audio frequencies that you may
have a hard time hearing. So, the way it
works is you plug in your headphones
over to the output jack here at the top
of the Aumeo box and then you pair this
with your smart phone running the
Aumeo Hub app, it's got an iOS or an
Android version. The app then runs a
series of tests and those tests come in
the form of sound frequencies that are
played back through your headphones. You
then adjust the volume until you can
barely hear those sounds so you do that
for your left ear and you do that for
your right ear and now after that your
audio profile is created. You then
transfer that profile over onto the
Aumeo box,
so whenever the device that you've got
this connected to place back sound or
music whether you've got this connected
to your phone your tablet your laptop or
even a DJ mixer or DJ controller
you will be hearing the Aumeo enhanced
audio. This sounds really cool on paper but is
it any good in use? Well in this short
talk to you I'm going to give you my
thoughts on the Aumeo and whether or not
it's something that I would like to use
in my DJ sets or when I'm just listening
to music at home and then you can arrive
at your own conclusions whether it's
something that you would want to add to
your DJ setup. Let's get started.
I hooked up the Aumeo to my favorite pair of
DJ headphones at the moment, the Pioneer
HDJ2000 mk2's. I've been using
these for all my gigs for quite a while
now
I love the isolation, I love the volume, I
love the clarity. I use these for all
types of gigs sometimes when I'm at the
coffee shop I just want to listen to music, I
take these along specially if that place
is noisy or even when I'm at home and I
just want to listen to music on
a pair of club ready or gig ready
headphones I tend to run songs through
these cans so I know them pretty well
and despite that I know that they're not
perfect. Well, no headphone is 100%
perfect I know that these cans
tend to have a dip somewhere in the low
mids
of your frequency range so it's kind of
curious as to how the Aumeo would
compensate for that and I also curious
to know whether or not I had suffered
any hearing damage. Of course, this is not
a substitute for visiting a hearing
specialist where you go through like a
really really detailed measurement of
your hearing so you know exactly which
frequencies you're having a hard time
hearing but I guess this is more or less
like a broad, a broader look at the way
that your hearing has been damaged over
time, if you're hearing is actually
damaged. So, before we move any further I
just want to show you the audio profile
that I created on the Aumeo with these
headphones...Here it is right now.
Right, so, as you can see there are dips over in
the lower mids from 125hz up until
500hz for both ears and you
can also see that in my left ear the
topmost frequency is a bit shaved off
and I guess that's attributable to me
being a guitarist in a band where I'm
always stood next to the drummer's cymbals
I should have worn hearing protection when I was
a lot younger but yes so there it is, a
bit of damage there my left ear that is
something that Aumeo is going to do
to fill the gaps or compensate for. OK, so now
that I've shown you what my graph looks
like I just want to give you my thoughts
on the Aumeo. First off, I realised that
I liked using the Aumeo for specific
use case scenarios I like it more than
others for example when I would be
gigging at a noisy bar, I'm playing a big
club or even just a place where a lot of
people are talking around me and I need
to really listen to my music so I can
cue up the next track or at least I can
find a spot in the track that I want to
drop next, I found that having the Aumeo
enhanced audio coursing through my
headphones prevented me from turning up
the volume on my DJ controller. What I
would do is, I'd hook it up to my DDJ-RZ
the Aumeo has on 8-inch audio input
jack. So, I plug it in like this and I just
plug this other
end to the headphone output of my DJ
controller and then I listen to my
headphone cue with the enhanced audio
and it really, really helps because
instead of having to turn up the volume
just so I can hear more detail in the
lower mids and the mids specifically,
the Aumeo already compensates for that by
bringing those frequencies up, so I find
myself actually turning the volume down
a little bit during gigs, which of course
is really good because in the long run
it's going to save my ears from
hearing fatigue and a hearing loss. So, in
that sense I do like using the Aumeo and
I've taken it to a couple of gigs and I
really liked using it then. However, I
tried using this in a home setting like
here in my studio which is pretty quiet
actually.
I tried listening to some music on it
and I realised that it can be a tad bit
overwhelming, just because all of those
frequencies that I'm supposed to have
gaps in are being compensated for it
just feels like everything is right in
my face and that's one of the effects of
using Aumeo...
The sound is a lot more present it's
more urgent and immediate so that again
that's great for like a loud environment
or a club environment where you're
performing but when you just want to
enjoy the music at home I found it a
little bit overbearing. Having said that,
there are some styles of music that I
enjoy listening with Aumeo enhancement
on, even though I'm at home. An example of
that is really old music from the mid
20th century like I was listening to
this Cannonball Adderley album over on
Spotify and YouTube and I really felt
that listening to those songs through
the Aumeo just made them sound a
little bit more modern. Maybe because
like it just sounded a bit more
in-your-face and well that's the way a
lot of music sounds these days...it just
really made it sound a bit more modern
for lack of a better term and I did
enjoy listening to those songs through
this. Now, I will not say that music is
always better through the
Aumeo, again I think it's a really
personal choice to make. It could help
you enjoy your music more but again
hearing is very subjective, especially
listening to music and appreciating it, so
it's all going to depend on your
preference and your style. As for me, I do
like this for gigs I think it's really
really cool. For listening to music at
home don't need it. However, one really,
really cool sort of perk about using
something like this which is Bluetooth
enabled that means that you can use this
with your smartphone and you can plug in
any pair of headphones to it and make
them a little bit wireless or at least
wireless as far as your phone is
concerned. Especially if you're using
something like the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus
which doesn't have a headphone jack. Also,
if you listen to music in your car
podcasts and that sort of stuff and you
don't want to fiddle around with wires
and you know, how to plug and unplug
everything, you can just leave this in
your car's console, music console or
under the dash just plug in like the
eighth inch jack from the output and
into the aux-in of your car stereo and
then suddenly your car is Bluetooth
enabled. So, that's it for my talk through
of Aumeo, I've got a more detailed look
at this over at the Digital DJ Tips

THERE HAVE IN FACT BEEN FACE TO FACE MEETINGS WITH EXTRATERRESTRIALS – AN INCREDIBLE STORY FROM A RE - Duration: 4:29.
THERE HAVE IN-FACT BEEN FACE TO FACE MEETINGS WITH EXTRATERRESTRIALS AN INCREDIBLE STORY
FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE
BY ARJUN WALIAMAY
Paul Hellyer, Canadas former Minister of Defence, has been creating awareness about
the fact that we are not alone, and that an extraterrestrial presence has been identified
by the nations of this world.
For those who are still unaware that there is actually, using the worlds of ex-astronaut
and Princeton Physics professor Dr. Brian Oleary, abundant evidence that we are
being visited, it would be easy to label Hellyer as crazy. But for anybody reading
this, just know that there are hundreds of high ranking people from within the military,
politics, academia and more who are now doing the same as Hellyer.
He is not alone, but in the company of many who have and do roam the highest levels of
government and defence.
You can check out the Disclosure Project to learn more about that.
There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for
many years by people from outer space, from other civilizations.
This should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not the subject of rubbishing
by tabloid newspapers.
Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal
Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (source)
In the interview below with Motherboard, Hellyer details a personal story which involved himself
and his Nephew.
Keep in mind, there are hundreds of these high ranking individuals, from presidents,
to four star Generals, to Defence Ministers around the world and more who have all made
some eye-opening statements.
Hellyer is the first from the G8 countries of cabinet rank to speak publicly about it.
He goes on to speak of a conversation he had with his nephew about the book, who in turn
had another conversation with a United States Air Force general stating that the General
said, every word of it is true and more.
Hellyer then goes on to explain how he himself then phoned the general and said, before
I could even say hello and how are you, he said every word of it is true and more.
And he said there had in fact been face to face meetings between United States officials
and extraterrestrials from other Star Systems.
Again, stories like this from credible people have spread their way into the mainstream.
Its not really a fringe topic anymore.
The only thing that worries me is the spin corporate media could put on it, given the
fact that they seem to do that with so many stories in all fields, from politics and science.

out there, you can visit his website

Bill Gates: Words of Wisdom COMPILATION 2017 - Duration: 11:13.
the humans are incredibly neat and we
can see that by the environment we built
the things we've invented other animals
or another animals or social but we
became so deeply social and learned how
to pass knowledge on from generation to
generation
initially verbally then in written form
and now we have the digital revolution
and so each generation builds on the
next to help us not only build tools but
even ask questions about why are we here
what's our purpose and so we're very
different than all the other animals
hello I'm Bill Gates chairman of
Microsoft in this video you're going to
see the future Windows Microsoft first
came up with the Windows concept back in
1983 and today the leading software
users have switched into the Windows
environment it's really incredible how
quickly our powerful applications like
Word and Excel and PowerPoint have been
adopted it's not just Microsoft
applications even companies like
WordPerfect and Lotus have now come out
with Windows applications and every week
we see new innovative work it's really
attracting all the innovation in the
industry we predicted this a long time
ago and now it's the future when I
started Microsoft I didn't think of it
as all that risky I mean I was so
excited about what we were doing it's
true I could have gone bankrupt but you
know I had a set of skills that were
highly employable and in fact my parents
were still willing to let me go back to
Harvard and finish my education if I
wanted to you've always got a job with a
bill man
and the only the thing that was scary to
me wasn't quitting and starting the
company was when I started hiring my
friends and they expected to be paid and
then we had customers who went bankrupt
customers that I counted on to come
through and so then I got this
incredibly conservative approach that I
wanted to have enough money in the bank
to pay a year's worth of payroll even if
we can get any any payments coming in
and I'm almost heard about the whole
time we have about ten billion now which
is pretty much enough for the next year
anyway you know I if you're going to
start a company it takes so much energy
that you know you it better overcome
your your feeling of risk I don't think
that you necessarily if you're going to
start a company should do it at the
start of your career I think there's a
lot to be said for working for a company
learning how they do things
you know if you're young it's hard to go
lease premises they made that hard for
me couldn't rent a car when you were
under 25 at the time so I was always
taking taxis to go see customers and
people would you know people say we're
going to go have a discussion in the bar
will I go to the bar
and but you know that's fun because I'll
tell you when people are first skeptical
and then go this kid doesn't know
anything then when you show them you've
really got a good product you know
something they actually tend to go
overboard and they think whoa
you know they know a lot let's really do
an incredible amount with these people
so our youth at least in this country
was a huge asset for us once we reached
a certain threshold it is hard it's hard
to hire old older people because they'll
be a little bit conservative about
whether they should come in and take the
risk and it took three or four years
before we could go out into the normal
sort of employment pool but those those
problems that come with starting the
firm you better think of those as part
of the the pledge or part of the the
challenge that that is part of the
excitement I'm in meetings a lot my
calendar gets very full with those and
then at night after the kids have gone
to bed I'm on email a great deal I get
messages during the day that's my chance
to give long responses and then over the
weekend I send a lot of mail as well as
well I take two weeks a year to just go
off and read and think where I'm not
interrupted by work or anything else I'm
just solidly trying to think about the
future and people get to send me things
to read as part of that so-called think
week so it's nice mix of things about
25% of the time then I'm out traveling
around meeting with customers Europe
Asia and that sort of helps me think
okay do we have the right priorities
what what are people responding well to
and what would they they'd like to see
us do better
I want to thank Harvard for this honor
I'll be changing my job next year and it
will be nice to finally have a college
degree on my resume
I applaud the graduates for taking a
much more direct route to your degrees
from our my part I'm just happy that the
Crimson called me Harvard's most
successful dropout I guess that makes me
valedictorian of my own special class I
did the best of everyone who failed but
I also want to be recognized as the guy
who got Steve Ballmer to drop out of
Business School
I'm a bad influence that's why I was
invited to speak at your graduation if I
spoken at your orientation fewer of you
might be here today the best business
decisions really have to do with picking
people and deciding to go into
partnership with Paul Allen is is
probably at the top of the list and then
subsequently hiring a friend Steve
Ballmer and having somebody who you
totally trust who's totally committed
who shares your vision he has a little
bit different set of skills and also
acts as a check on you you know some of
the ideas you come up with you run by
them because you know they're going to
say hey wait a minute
have you thought about this and that and
just you know the benefit of sparking
off of somebody who's who's got that
kind of brilliance it's not only made it
fun but it's really led to a lot of
successful picking picking a partners is
crucial one habit that I developed when
I when I was at college it was actually
very bad habit which was I like to show
people that I didn't do any work and
that I didn't go to classes and I didn't
care and then at the very last minute
like two days before the test I get
serious about it and and people people
thought that was funny
you know that was my positioning the guy
who did nothing until the last minute
then when I went into business that was
a really bad habit and it took me a
couple years to get over that nobody
praised me because I would do things at
the last minute and I tried to reverse
to students I'd actually I didn't think
that highly of who were always organized
and had things done on time I'm still
working on it but procrastination is not
a good good habit bill could change
clothes in the car I talked to my dad I
talked to Warren I had talked to my wife
Melinda so I I have enough people that
know me and actually know where my
judgment isn't its strongest where I
might get overexcited about something or
you know forget to think about something
and so they're good at correcting
picking lint good at correcting whatever
those blind spots are and I think it's
good to encourage your friends and
advisers to really given that license
you know I can go to a party and forget
to say hello to various people or
something that's a very minor example of
my blind spot rather the hostess the
window would help maybe yeah so you know
a small number of people that you can
turn to on on certain key things is a
great great asset the key point there is
you've got to enjoy what you do every
day and for me that's working with very
smart people it's working on new
problems you know every time we think
hey we've had a little bit of success
we're pretty careful not to dwell on it
too much because the bar gets raised
challenge Milty my partner Facebook's
Sheryl Sandberg and Netflix is founder
and CEO Reed Hastings
I'm glad to give ALS it's a great cause
but I want to cut this challenge I want
to do it better than it's been done I've
been working on this you know got this
design there we go yeah it's gonna be
great
[Music]
I'm here to join the people bringing
attention to Lou Gehrig's disease by
taking the ALS ice bucket challenge I'm
going to challenge three more people
Elon Musk Ryan Seacrest and Chris
Anderson of Ted
consider yourself challenged you have 24
hours good luck my bad Jillian let me
tell you about my past friend cuz it's
on my upper down my cotton
[Music]
we're walking man-to-man
[Music]
[Applause]
