Hello Friends, i am Vijay saini & welcome to Mammal Bonsai

Hello friends , this my ficus benjamina tree

Last time i was brought this and

I put it in a big pot. Look, you can see pot at the bottom

After that I had wired it

Which plant should beginner take for bonsai ?

I think in the beginning, take a plant that can do good survive

Meaning less chance to kill

like jade tree

Ficus.There are many varieties of ficus that you can choose

like ficus panda,ficus long island ,ficus green island,ficus tigerbark,chinese banayan

So you can take any of these plants that you can available there

you can take jade tree its also easy to make bonsai .Because, in the jade tree you just take care of water.

mean dont over watering .jade tree dont need much care .Will give less water

Look at this I have grow with cutting.now i have 6-7 jade from cuttings

so you can grow easily from cutting .if you will buy one jade tree from nursery

then you can make many jade plants

And you will not even need wiring in it.you need it only prune and shape the tree

The thickness of the ficus quickly

then tree looks good

This tree is just kept in the garden between plants.That's why it does not look good

When I will fence around my farm with an iron mesh.Then I'll put them on display bench

So that we can see its shape clearly

because When the bonsai are kept in front of our eyes, then they can see their correct shape

Like if we are standing and put the bonsai down, we will not be able to see its correct shape

So if Bonsai is placed in front of our eyes, then we can see its shape better

Just like when we take photographs of the bonsai, take it perfectly in front of you, the photo gets good

now I'll let it stay on the ground right here and I will shift it there later

One advantage of keeping it here is that its roots has gone into the ground.And now the tree takes its food and moisture from the ground

Even if I will give less water to it, it will also survive

today i will remove some wire , some rewire ,some branch prune

so we will some work on this tree

So that it can get a good shape.here rainy season start .last night rained .now plants growth start

So let me show you a little closer because here you will not be clear.

The branches of this tree which have been dried must be removed

Start with the branches below

trunk thikness is good

In the last rainy season we had aerial root in it.I had grow it

so that I could put it in the ground and it could take good food

.I had planted a few tamarind seeds in it which are grown

So first remove the dry branch on this branch

So we have removed this branch

Now we will let them grow like this

Now let's go this side

see this branch is drythen remove it

.Now we come to this branch

Look at this branch even the branch has been dry.so remove it

So let's go a little upwards now

this branch also dry so remove it

first remove wire

now remove it

will remove this new branch

remove this dry branch

As I tell in every video that ..

give the branch one-handed support during the wiring.otherwise branch will be break

So support the branch with one hand and wrap the wire with one hand

The second tip of the wire we will wrap up on this branch.

We have removed the wire.now prune some branches

We have worked on the tree

Its the foliage of that will be a different side

And this will become a different foliage

We have a lot of work to do now on this tree

Have to do slowly

This is the shape that we will make of the tree

This tree does not look good right now

Because it is in the middle of the plants so it is not visible from its branches below

The next time we work, then I will keep this tree in a different place from which I can see clearly

Now we are working on this figure

And let's grow it well in this pot

And increase the thickness of this tree so that it looks good

You can also make a bonsai by bringing the ficus plant to the nursery
