AEROSPACE MOGUL ROBERT BIGELOW CONVINCED OF AN ALIEN PRESENCE ON EARTH - Duration: 6:33.AEROSPACE MOGUL ROBERT BIGELOW CONVINCED OF AN ALIEN PRESENCE ON EARTH
Robert Bigelow, the mogul, and entrepreneur of Aerospace conducted an interview with 60
Minutes, and he talked about the fact that he is convinced that aliens have visited Earth
in the past.
EXECUTIVE OF AEROSPACE TOTALLY CONVINCED ALIENS HAVE BEEN TO EARTH The majority of the segment
had been focused on Bigelow Aerospace based in Las Vegas, and NASA is in partnership,
and they are developing an expandable craft that will be used by humans in space.
Bigelow has visions that reach far, and they have him set right in the middle of privatization
of space, but he is racing against people that include Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.
EXPANDABLE SYSTEM FOR HUMANS IN SPACE AND OBSESSION WITH ALIENS Bigelow went on to talk
about the expandable system that would be used on space flights for humans in the future.
But more interesting to believers is the fact that he went on to talk with Lara Logan about
the obsession that Bigelow seems to have when it comes to aliens and UFOs.
Bigelow was asked by Logan whether or not he believed in aliens and his reply was that
he was convinced they were real and he went on to say that that was all there was to it.
Logan then continued digging by asking if he believed that aliens had visited Earth
by way of UFOs.
Bigelow went on to say that there had been and still is an existing presence of aliens.
He said that he had spent a great deal more time; perhaps more than any other individual
in the US had spent on the subject of UFOs and aliens.
BIGELOW DOES NOT CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK AND IT WOULD NOT CHANGE REALITY The interviewer
then asked if he thought that it was risky to say that he believed in aliens and UFOs
in public.
The reply of Bigelow was that he did not give a damn what other people thought, he said
that he did not care what they thought.
Logan asked if he wasnt worried about what other people might say and Bigelow said that
he did not care and that it would not make any difference.
He finished by saying that it would not make a difference and it would not change the reality
of what he believed and knew.
Bigelow stopped short of elaborating on the kind of results that he achieved through his
UFO research, which has been very well funded.
He was questioned about space missions and asked if he thought that space missions in
the future would mean that people would have encounters with aliens.
In answer to this Bigelow said that people did not have to go anywhere, he said that
it was already under the noses of people.
BIGELOW AND LEIR TALKED ABOUT TURKEY UFO SIGHTING Bigelow would not talk about his personal
UFO encounters; however, he did go into more elaborate details about aliens, UFOs and private
space industry when he was interviewed by George Knapp for Coast to Coast AM along with
Dr. Roger Leir.
During this interview, Dr. Roger Leir had talked about an amazing UFO sighting that
he had been able to witness when attending a UFO conference in Istanbul.
Leir said that he was with people who had been video recording the sighting in 2009
and had seen the sighting himself.
He went on to say that the UFO had appeared at first to be in the shape of a boomerang,
but then went on to say that it may have been a just a portion of a cylindrical object.
Using a 200x optical lens, the camera captured a lot of details, and when the image was analyzed,
Mario Valdes had said that it suggested as though the occupants of the UFO were visible.
VIDEO CAPTURES ALIEN UFO OCCUPANTS WITH LARGE HEADS AND ALMOND SHAPED EYES
The occupants were described as having large heads with eyes that were almond shaped.
Leir said that the sightings in Turkey might have been as prevalent as there are a lot
of uranium deposits around the region and the visit may have been related to something
that was nuclear.
Leir then went on to discuss disclosure along with talking about which of the countries
are more open on that issues and then talking about his work to remove alien implants.
FULL TRANSCRIPT OF THE INTERVIEW: Logan: Do you believe in aliens? Bigelow: Im
absolutely convinced.
Thats all there is to it. Logan: Do you also believe that UFOs have come to Earth?
Bigelow: There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence.
And I spent millions and millions and millions ? I probably spent more as an individual than
anybody else in the United States has ever spent on this subject. Logan: Is it
risky for you to say in public that you believe in UFOs and aliens? Bigelow: I dont
give a damn.
I dont care. Logan: You dont worry that some people will say, Did you hear
that guy, he sounds like hes crazy? Bigelow: I dont care.
Its not gonna make a difference.
Its not gonna change reality of what I know. Logan: Would future space missions
result in encounters between humans and aliens? Bigelow: You dont have to go anywhere.
Its just like right under peoples noses.

WHERE DO SJWs COME FROM!? - Duration: 9:16.[Music]
sjw's often in social justice warriors
what is their upbringing this is the
past fault that their kids turn out like
this honestly I think it's partially
their fault but I think it's more of a
societal issue than a parent raising
their kid wrong a child that's grown up
in a home there are law-abiding citizens
and work middle-class jobs at times can
turn to a life of crime and doing other
bad things and get them in bad
situations with drugs and things of that
nature in my opinion the way sjw's are
created are a few different ways in this
point in time most big celebrities that
people look up to as their role models
like we all did when we were children
tend to be on the SJW side to make their
PR look good a lot of times these
celebrities is disingenuous and send out
messages that are not helpful with
someone growing up when these children
at a young age see their favorite
celebrities going out there virtually
signaling the SJW stuff they may have a
tendency to mimic it or believe it
because someone from authority says that
this is what's going on at the same time
we can't completely blame celebrities or
pop culture as we've seen in California
there are many cases where they're
actually indoctrinating students from a
very early age in elementary schools so
it's also the system of Education
depending on the geographic area that
contributes this entire thing now the
real way they do it is through a very
manipulative psychological means they
essentially tell these people from a
young age that the world is stacked
against them with the progressive stack
more or less those people grow up here
in this entire thing and they cling on
to that like a person would if they were
brought up in Christianity or really any
beliefs and had no outside opinions to
it the first real big wave of sjw's that
really started crashing and starting a
lot of major issues in the world started
with Occupy Wall Street and also the
defunct atheist community with atheism
plus they use the mental manipulation
tactic the boils down to they tell you
something that seems fairly obvious and
that almost everybody would agree with
and leave out new
and lied by omission to people from a
young age on somebody will go to you
whether it's an authority figure on
Twitter like a celebrity or your
teachers at elementary school college
wherever and will say really generic
statements about the movements that you
can't really disagree with things like
for feminism it would be women and men
should have equal rights and there are
very few people in the Western world
which would disagree with this notion
but you got to realize as bad as this
sounds 90% of people are idiots and are
lazy where they will just take the word
of someone that they feel is an
authority on a subject and not looking
to it for themselves so I would say
around 90% of people are easily
manipulated and to believe in anything
they're told these people are preyed
upon the system that's created to
exploit what would be a good thing to
push their own agendas and make more
money at the top and a lot of ways the
way that these people manipulate on top
of using the generic women should be
equal if they use religious tactics for
example in Christianity if you do
something bad
you're going to go to hell so there is a
punishment for doing something that is
prescribed it's bad these young people
are taught that if they don't support
the migrants or people of color as they
would say black people anybody that's
not white basically they will be deemed
a racist or sexist or a misogynist or
Islamophobe or any of the stuff by their
peers in society so these people feel
pressure already from a young age to fit
in and to basically look good to
everybody that's why you see all this
virtue signaling with celebrities it
increases their PR and makes them look
good because they look like they're
progressives
so these people that are raised at an
early age eventually start believing
this shit because there are a few
outside real-life people that can lead
them away from this because in this day
of the Internet where everybody is
attached to a phone or anything like
that 90% of the information you get is
from faceless nameless people people you
can't hold to account now when I was
growing up the internet wasn't as bad
when I was a kid in the 90s you had
dial-up you're lucky if you can get a
video to play in 15 minutes and it would
be a slideshow with music after that
now with the propaganda mills they can
push out content all the time and
reaffirm these beliefs because if you
think about it birds of a feather flock
together people generally communicate
with and hang out with people who are
like-minded and gives them confirmation
bias so if you're brought up in an early
age believing that women are oppressed
in the West Muslims then do nothing and
all this stuff and then you basically
insulate yourself into what we call a
hug box because that's where your
confirmation bias is now because you
were brainwashed at a very early age
then it's a lot harder to go against
your own confirmation bias because
you've never had to question that most
likely based on the communities that you
put yourself in I attributed this
basically to something like a sheltered
child we have the helicopter parents of
like the 80s and 90s
where the parents will be basically all
over so on shoulders it was generally in
a religious environment where they never
got to see the real world they saw the
world through a lens of Walt Disney
movies and things like that those people
who never had to experience anything on
the outside world and we're sheltered
for all those years and to that hug box
I'm massively controlling parents
generally when they get some freedom
they go fucking nuts
they get into drugs sex with everybody
around them look at any Christian
University the places are just full of
wild party animals that are doing drugs
and everything else and that's your
early 20s I'm not against it if that's
what you want to do that's fine as long
as you're not hurting anybody else but
the concept is the same as a sheltered
child these people that are brought up
with their religion basically being SJW
shit when they get out in the real world
and they see that it doesn't go to their
confirmation bias they go fucking wacky
and instead of going out doing drugs and
fucking everybody which they were held
back from they're going riot and protest
and try to more or less create their
ideal society which is based on the
confirmation bias that some asshole
brainwashed German
- at a young age sjw's are no different
than any religion where you take a
person and shelter them for their entire
life and then send them out into that
wild world that they didn't know
anything about and it becomes alien to
them where they basically do everything
they can to recreate what they grew up
with because they can't handle the
outside world because they were never
covered up or taught to deal with real
life issues they never grew up learning
to be tough or strong or street smart or
be able to handle money or anything else
that you have to deal with an adult life
because they wanted to keep them in that
hug box the difference is I don't think
the SJW stuff man that comes from
parents I think it's mainly from peers
and people that they hang out with
because as I've heard from max there it
what these people do is these insular
cults that you have into high schools
and stuff there go and prey on the
people that are lonely social outcasts
maybe have a few mental issues from
social anxiety maybe bipolar
stuff like that and they'll prey on him
or her and basically go up to and say
hey you're all alone you can join us and
then over time these coke figures that
were created early on
eventually brainwash these people and
they become what they are luckily with
the internet being more available faster
you can use this stuff if you can reach
out to people before this happens you
can help a lot that's why I think with
the whole skeptic community thing or
whatever us anti SJW channels we do a
lot of good without knowing it because
you don't know who's watching you on
YouTube that one guy that might be about
to jump over to the SJW cult because he
sees no other option sees our side and
sees that we can handle issues that we
can help them understand the world
because a lot of this sgw should happens
before you're an adult where you're
grown up into it during a time where
you're very confused from hormones and
adolescents and all this stuff and
you're easily impressionable and easily
manipulated the system manipulates your
friends are manipulating you into this
your parents might be manipulating you
into this
you are pretty much built into this hug
box where you can't get out because
you've never seen any other option
that's where I think sjw's come from

Byron York While other controversies rage, work on border wall moves forward - Duration: 10:47.Byron York While other controversies rage, work on border wall moves forward
by Byron York
New revelations come almost by the minute in the Trump-Russia affair.
The White House moves into full-defense mode.
The Trump agenda stalls on Capitol Hill.
A reasonable observer might conclude that is all that is happening in the Trump administration.
But even as those troubles fill news sites and cable TV, administration officials are
quietly moving ahead on one of the president's top campaign promises: the construction of
a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Although it hasn't received much attention relative to the president's many problems,
extensive planning for the wall is under way, officials are evaluating specific proposals,
sites are being studied, and yes, there is money available to get going.
The work is being done under President Trump's executive order of Jan. 25, which declared
the administration's policy to "secure the southern border of the United States through
the immediate construction of a physical wall " The order went on to set a high standard
of effectiveness: "the prevention of all unlawful entries into the United States" along the
border.
Finally, the order cited an existing law, the Secure Fence Act, which in 2006 called
for the construction of "at least two layers of reinforced fencing" and "additional physical
barriers" on up to 700 miles of the 1,954-mile border.
"The executive order calls on the authority in the Secure Fence Act for us to begin immediately,"
said a senior administration official who recently provided an extensive update on the
state of the wall project.
In March, U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent out a request for proposals for companies
to bid on the construction of prototypes not little models to sit on someone's desk, but
full-scale sections of proposed wall designs that will be put in place on the border.
So far, Border Protection has received more than 100 proposals.
"We are evaluating what started out as a solicitation to industry and request for proposals 18
to 30 feet high, concrete, impenetrable, hard-to-scale, the correct aesthetics," the official said.
"We've tried to capture the intent [of the executive order] in the requests for proposals,
and those proposals are being evaluated now."
There are some important points to remember before going any further.
First, there is no intention to build a wall to stretch the entire border, from San Diego,
Calif., to Brownsville, Texas.
In his campaign, the president made clear that the wall need not cover every mile of
the border.
Certainly, no expert who supports more barriers at the border believes it should, either.
And the wall does not always mean a wall.
The Jan. 25 executive order defined "wall" as "a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly
secure, contiguous and impassable physical barrier."
Planners say that in practice, that will certainly mean extensive areas with an actual wall.
But other areas might have the type of fencing outlined in the Secure Fence Act, or some
other barrier yet to be designed.
And that leads to a third point: The border barrier will not look the same at all points
along the border.
The terrain of the border is different some parts are so imposing they don't need a barrier
at all and officials plan to design walls and barriers that fit each area, rather than
one long, unchanging structure.
Right now, officials are studying how many "buildable miles" will need a barrier.
Whatever the precise number, it will be big.
In 2015, the Department of Homeland Security told Congress that, of the 1,954 miles of
border, 1,300 miles, or 66.5 percent, have no fencing or barriers at all; 299.8 miles,
or 15.3 percent, have vehicle fence; and 316.6 miles, or 16.2 percent, have pedestrian fence.
Only 36.3 miles, or 2 percent, have the kind of double-layer fencing required by the Secure
Fence Act.
(The law was passed by Congress and signed by President George W. Bush, but neither Bush
nor Congress really wanted to build the fence.
So they didn't.)
"We've asked the nine sectors on the Southwest border, if you have to meet the standards
in the executive order and the Secure Fence Act, where is it that barriers are required
to complete the task?" said the senior administration official.
"We've then evaluated those areas where the traffic [of illegal border-crossers] is highest."
Planners are considering those factors in light of the executive order's "prevent all
entries" standard administration officials are taking that edict very seriously to
come up with areas in which a wall would be the best solution, or where some other type
of physical barrier would do the job better.
At the moment, planners believe that about 700 "buildable miles" of the border will require
a wall or other barrier.
That just happens to be about the same amount called for in the Secure Fence Act.
Does the government have that much land available?
The answer is mostly yes.
Remember, from the numbers cited above, that there are more than 650 miles along the border
with something on them vehicle fence, simple pedestrian fence, whatever.
That means the government has already gone through the land acquisition and approval
process required to erect a barrier.
"It's federal property now because we've either condemned it or purchased it," said the official.
There's no doubt that hundreds of miles of truly impenetrable barriers would have a huge
effect on illegal border crossings.
Talk to some experts who favor tougher border enforcement, and they will say that even as
few as 100 well-chosen miles of barrier would make a difference.
In any event, there is a significant amount of border land that is already in government
hands.
"West of El Paso, a lot of the land is public," the official noted, while "as you go further
east from El Paso towards Brownsville, a lot of that land is private."
Going through the process of condemning or buying land with all the legal and financial
issues involved will depend "on how we choose the priorities."
Once planners decide where to build, there will then be the question of what to build.
If the decision is to build a wall, then the question is: a wall of what?
Planners have decided that concrete will definitely be involved, even though it hasn't played
much of a role in earlier barriers.
Why concrete?
"It's an interpretation of the vision," the senior administration official explained.
By "vision," he meant it is a way to make Trump's oft-repeated promise of a "big, beautiful
wall" a reality.
Trump didn't mean a fence.
On the other hand, using concrete presents one obvious problem.
Whatever barrier is built, Border Protection agents on the U.S. side need to be able to
see through it.
That's always been a requirement with earlier barriers.
So now, officials are looking for creative ideas for a wall that will still allow them
full sight of the Mexican side.
That touches on the most important consideration for planners.
A wall isn't just a wall.
It is a system a "smart wall," as they call it.
It involves building a barrier with the monitoring technology to allow U.S. officials to be aware
of people approaching; to be able to track them at all times; to have roads to move people
around; the facilities to deal with the people who are apprehended; and more.
"It's not just a barrier," noted the official.
(Last year, with the Obama administration still in office, a number of Border Protection
officials traveled to Israel to study that country's highly effective barriers; they
came home big believers in a smart wall.)
At this point, it's impossible to say what building a smart wall will cost, because officials
haven't yet decided on a plan.
But how much money does the administration have to get started now?
Begin with money that was already to available to the Department of Homeland Security.
"Congress gave us a re-programming for money we were planning to do other things with mostly
technology to get us through this request for proposals and to get the prototypes underway
immediately," the senior administration official said.
"That has happened already.
We found $20 million to get that effort underway."
"Then, the 2017 budget resolution gives us substantial money to continue doing real estate
and environmental planning and design, and then replace some fencing," he continued.
"That's in the neighborhood of $900 million."
"You won't get a lot of new fence for that," the official conceded.
"You'll get some upgrades.
But you'll get some behind-the-scenes work underway engineering, design, real estate
acquisition, title searches, the kinds of things that have to happen to make it work."
That is a start.
Republicans on the Hill argue that they got as much money in the recent spending bill
as they could for the project, given that they had to work with Democrats to avoid a
government shutdown and fund the government through Sept. 30.
"We weren't going to get anything passed that said, quote-unquote, 'wall,'" noted one GOP
staffer.
The next funding hurdle will come when Congress considers spending for 2018.
Most House and Senate Democrats appear determined to stop a border barrier.
They say it will be expensive and ineffective, while some Republicans believe Democrats oppose
the wall mainly because they fear it will work.
After the recent spending bill passed, some opponents of the wall declared the project
dead.
(Sample headline: Vanity Fair's "How Trump's Wall Failure Will Forever Doom His Presidency.")
But any victory dance right now is premature.
Yes, it's certainly possible the wall won't be built.
But it's also possible it will be built, or that significant parts of it will be built.
The work is already under way.

STREET FIGHTERS IN YOUR POCKET - Duration: 5:27.Whazaaa , Hadougamer! Welcome to one more
video in our channel, if you
weren't subscribed yet, please do it to follow
our news. If you like this one
don't forget to thumbs up,
it will help us a lot. Todays video
is about the game POCKET FIGHTER
or SUPER GEM FIGHTER if you prefer
So, lets get started!
Before starts this video i wanna invite you to
follow closer our channel
We started to stream LIVE VIDEOS, in wich you can interact with me while I play
You'll can help to decide wich games we going to show here in the channel
your participation is essential
Well, thats it. Now, about POCKET FIGHTER!
Pocket Fighter or Super Gem Mini Fighter is a game released by Capcom in 1997
It was released for Sega Saturn
Playstation (or Psone)
It got a Playstation 2 version, later.
Obviously, it has a original version released on arcades.
The Sega Saturn version i played here in the Hadougame Channel, and the link is here about, if you wanna see.
What a Heck is Pocket Fighter?!
It was a new proposal of Capcom
to bring up a comical stuff to street fighter universe
How they do that? They uses a draw style called S.D.
Maybe you know that. It means Super Deformer
S.D. is like a japanese caricature. Is a comical japanese draw
in wich the body proportions
are modified. The head is bigger than the other parts of the body or the opposite
depends on your point of view
The S.D style Street Fighter character wasn't a fresh news in POCKET FIGHTER.
It was used in the previous year (1996) in the game
Puzzle Fighter released by Capcom.
It was other type of game.
That remember Tetris in wich the GEMs has been droped
Meanwhile the characters hit the opponent's
if one or other complete the gem blocks. I recommend to play
it is very enjoyable for those who like the puzzle games.
Pocket Fighter was staffed by characters from DarkStalkers, Street Fighter Zero
Street Fighter Turbo and also
from other Capcom Success
with less glamour, called Red Earth
Like others Street Fighters Zero games, each fighter follow it owns Story Sequence.
Therefore it owns sequence of oponents to defeat.
All of them has a final challenge with a diferent character.
Each one has them Last Boss
The great inovation in the Pocket Fighter gameplay
Is the possibility to get Power Ups while the fight is going
The player get the GEMs Power Ups
Maybe that was the reason to call the game as GEM FIGHTER
There is GEMs to improve the Punch Skills
There is GEMs to improve the Kick Skills
And there is GEMs to improve the SPECIAL SKILLS
There is other power ups like FOOD to recover the fighter energy during the match.
It means that you can recover the energy diring the fight.
Pocket Fighter has a very funny sequence of combos
in wich the characters perform transformations in other things.
and other fellows of Capcom Universe
The game has a playability
simplified. Instead of the 3 punchs
and 3 kicksit counts with one punch button
one kick button and one special button.
It simplify a lot the way that you learn how to play the game.
So, if you like this type of game
A well humored Fighting game
and wanna get a free laughs. I recommend this one.
It looks like a childish game
but it wasn't. It is very funny
It is all for now. If you liked this video, please thumbs up
You'll help us a lot. If you wanna see more reviews
like this, write down in the comments
I also wanna know in the comments
what you thing about the new LlVE video format in the channel
which games you wanna see here
in a live stream game play. I am eager to know more about you to bring the best game content.

The Pioneers Of Change How Rich We Truly Are! - Duration: 3:50.The Pioneers Of Change: How Rich We Truly Are!
We are the pioneers of change, yet so many forget, or ignore their true richness or value.
Society has always judged their fellow man based upon their wealth, and aptly devised
various labels to ensure that sticks.
As we shift our consciousness to a higher level, all 3D labels need to be shattered,
because they simply are not true.
Each of us is abundant and rich in so many ways, and it has nothing to do with personal
wealth or the assets we own.
We are the bearers and carriers of unconditional love, knowledge and wisdom; in addition we
have our own life experiences from this and many lifetimes.
Many of us are parents, who co-created divine beings of unconditional love, knowledge and
wisdom.
We interact daily with others, who share valuable knowledge and wisdom.
Many of us allow this richness to flow through us, for this is our life purpose sharing
who we are!
This is our earthly mission, sharing the love and wonder of Mother Earth.
We share the beauty and energy that comes from all that is.
We have a passion to bring about a change in the way humanity lives, because this is
who we are.
Whilst this may antagonize many, it is a simple process that we will not be deterred from.
Those that fuel and promote the false ideologies, fears and other such low vibrations, will
be met with pure unconditional love.
We are no longer afraid to become vulnerable and show our truth and purpose, because one
thing is for sure, it is the unconditional love of our fellow man that will dampen lower
vibrations.
Remember What You Have Co-Created!
When you go about your day, feel all that you have created, feel all that you have co-created,
remember all those wonderful things you have achieved and experienced, and truly appreciate
the richness that you are.
It is that richness which is the key to your true self and existence.
Nothing can ever take these away from you, they are ever present, and they are who you
truly are.

The Technology Is Getting Real Laser Weapons Edge Closer - tech and science - Duration: 5:27."The Technology Is Getting Real" - Laser Weapons Edge Closer To Battlefield Use
Three months after China unveiled "Silent Hunter" - its vehicle-slicing laser weapon,
Stars & Stripes reports that US military forces are testing their own array of hi-tech weaponry.
And now Military.com reports, the toy-like drones destroyed during an Army field exercise
at Fort Sill, Okla., last month weren't anything special; however, the way they were brought
down -- zapped out of the sky by lasers mounted on a Stryker armored vehicle -- might grab
people's attention.
The first soldier to try out the lasers was Spc.
Brandon Sallaway, a forward observer with the 4th Infantry Division.
He used a Mobile Expeditionary High Energy Laser to shoot down an 18-by-10-inch drone
at 650 yards, an Army statement said.
"It's nothing too complicated but you have to learn how to operate each system and get
used to the controls which is exactly like a video game controller," said Sallaway, who
hadn't fired a laser before the exercise.
The drone-killing laser was relatively low energy -- only 5 kilowatts -- but the Army
has tested much more powerful weapons.
A 30-kilowatt truck-mounted High Energy Laser Mobile Demonstrator shot down dozens of mortar
rounds and several drones in November 2013 at White Sands Missile Range, N.M.
Since then, researchers have made rapid advances in laser weapons, said Bob Ruszkowski, who
works on air dominance projects and unmanned systems in Lockheed's secretive Skunk Works
facility.
"We're really on the cusp of seeing the introduction of lasers in future systems," he said.
The weapon tested at White Sands is about to double in power with a 60-kilowatt laser
the Army plans to test in the next 18 months, he said in a phone interview May 12.
The laser generates its beam through fiber optic cables like those used by telecom companies,
said Robert Afzal, a senior fellow for laser and sensor systems at Lockheed.
"We demonstrated that we could combine large number of these fiber lasers and link them
to a weapons system," he said.
Lasers are very efficient at converting electrical power to a laser beam, Afzal said.
That's important for the platforms that carry them, he said.
It means they don't need a large generator or cooling system and that high-powered lasers
can be easily transported.
"This was the key puzzle piece that needed to be solved before we could begin to deploy
these laser weapons," Afzal said.
"The technology is getting real.
It's the dawn of a new era where the tech can be made smaller and powerful enough to
be put on vehicles, ships and aircraft."
Scientists showed the potential of more powerful laser weapons in 2015 by burning a hole through
a truck's hood at a range of one mile.
"It was the most efficient high-powered laser ever demonstrated," Afazal said of the test,
which mimicked what might happen if a laser was fired at a vehicle from an aircraft.
During an operation, a laser might be used to disable a vehicle where the goal was to
capture rather than kill an individual, Ruszkowski said.
"The laser is a surgical weapon and it's something customers are interested in," Afazal said.
"Something like that can be easily integrated into an AC-130 gunship.
That is something the Air Force is planning on demonstrating in the next two to three
years."
Researchers believe they have the key ingredients to make such a system work, Ruszkowski said.
"When we realized that laser technology was maturing enough that we could be close to
having something we could integrate on an aircraft we started looking at other difficulties
that might arise," he said.
Airflow around a plane can destabilize lasers, so engineers developed a way to minimize turbulence,
said Ruszkowski, who added that the Navy has deployed a laser weapon on board the USS Ponce
in the Persian Gulf.
Laser weapons could be arriving just in time to defeat a growing menagerie of cheap-to-make
drones and missiles in the hands of terrorists and rogue states, which could threaten expensive
American military hardware.
"The threats are proliferating and changing," but laser weapons could counter some of them,
Afazal said.
An advantage of laser weapons is that they don't need ammunition, he said.
For example, a forward-operating base could protect itself from airborne threats with
a laser as long as there was enough fuel to power a generator and recharge its batteries.
Use of such weapons on enemy troops is a gray area that, for now, the U.S. military is steering
clear of since international agreements ban the use of weapons intended to blind, Afazal
said.
"Before lasers have been deployed and we understand how they work, the policy is conservative,"
he said.
