AN UNNAMED POLICE OFFICER IN BATON

ROUGE HAS FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST BLACK LIVES MATTER OVER

A

MAN WHO UNFORTUNATELY SHOT AND KILLED THREE COPS BACK IN JULY

2016.

THE LAWSUIT HAS TO DO WITH THE NOTION THAT BLACK LIVES

MATTER INCITED SO MUCH VIOLENCE, THAT IT LED THIS MAN

TO

AMBUSH COPS IN BATON ROUGE, WHICH LED TO THE DEATHS OF THREE

OFFICERS, AND ALSO WOUNDED TWO DEPUTIES AND ANOTHER OFFICER.

JUST TO GIVE YOU CONTEXT, THIS SHOOTING IN BATON ROUGE HAVE

BEEN CLOSE TO THE SHOOTING THAT HAPPENED IN DALLAS.

AFTER THAT

SHOOTING IN DALLAS, THERE WERE A NUMBER OF STATEMENTS MADE BY

BLACK LIVES MATTER CONDEMNING THE VIOLENCE, SPEAKING OUT

AGAINST THEM ñ BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COPS

WAS HORRIFIC.

YOU FEEL SICK TO YOUR STOMACH WHEN YOU READ THE

DETAILS OF THIS CASE.

TO SAY THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER

INCITED THIS VIOLENCE I THINK IS GOING TO FAR.

>>THE SHOOTER IN DALLAS WAS ACTIVELY REJECTED BY SEVERAL

AFRICAN-AMERICAN GROUPS HE APPLIED TO.

I THINK IT IS

UN-AMERICAN TO SAY YOU SHOULD NOT SPEAK OUT TO AN ISSUE THAT

IS IMPORTANT.

I THOUGHT CONSERVATIVES WERE REALLY

CONCERNED ABOUT DEBATING THIS COUNTRY, FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS,

AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE GOT A CHANCE TO SPEAK.

IT TURNS

OUT FOR SOME OF THEM ñ NO.

>>IT IS DEFINITELY TRUE WHEN IT COMES TO BLACK LIVES MATTER.

THERE IS THIS INSANE EFFORT BY THE RIGHT WING IN THIS COUNTRY

TO GO AFTER ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CHALLENGE AUTHORITY, SPEAK OUT,

PROTEST.

THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT THERE WERE STATE BILLS

PROPOSED INDICATING IF THERE ARE PROTESTERS IN THE STREET, AND

DRIVERS WENT OVER THEM, IT SHOULD BE OKAY.

THAT IS THE KIND

OF INTIMIDATION TACTIC BEING USED BY PEOPLE IN POWER.

THAT IS

A TREND WE ARE SEEING.

>> IN ARIZONA THEY SUGGESTED ARRESTING ANYONE WHO GOES TO

PROTEST, IF ANYONE AT THE PROTEST WERE TO DO SOME CRIME AT

A LATER TIME.

EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THAT CRIME THEY

WOULD ARREST ALL OF THE PROTESTERS AND ALL THE PEOPLE

WHO PLANNED THE PROTEST THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VIOLENCE.

THAT BILL WAS SO OUTRAGEOUS THAT IT WAS PULLED BACK.

EVEN SOME

CONSERVATIVES IN ARIZONA WERE LIKE WAIT- BUT PROBABLY NOT A

GOOD IDEA.

THAT IS WHY THIS LAWSUIT HAS A GREAT NUMBER OF

ISSUES.

IF YOU DID THIS IN REVERSE, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

GUESS WE WOULD HAVE TO SHUT DOWN ALMOST EVERY RIGHT-WING OUTLET-

AND DEFINITELY FOX NEWS.

HOW ABOUT THAT?

IT STARTS WITH A VIOLENT

APPROACH TO THINGS.

IF SOMEONE IS SHOT AND KILLED BY A POLICE

OFFICER, IF A POLICE UNION DECIDES TO SAY LET'S CIRCLE THE

WAGONS AROUND THIS MURDEROUS COP ñ LET'S GET HIM OFF, WHICH THEY

DO A MAJORITY OF THE TIME, THEN I AM UPSET BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE

NOW CONDONED THIS VIOLENCE WHICH WILL THEN INCITE OTHER VIOLENCE

IN OTHER PEOPLE, AND NOW YOU ARE STARTING AT NOW.

I AM SUING YOU

BECAUSE YOU GOT THAT COP SHOT.

THOSE COPS THAT ARE CRIPPLED AND

SHOT- NOW EVERYONE HAS A TARGET ON THEIR BACK BECAUSE OF

THE VIOLENCE YOU STARTED.

HOW ABOUT YOU SUE THOSE COPS FOR ALLOWING THIS SHIT TO START.

>> WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO IF YOUR 12-YEAR-OLD SON GETS

SHOT AND KILLED WITHIN TWO SECONDS OF A CUP ARRIVING AT A

PARK BECAUSE THEY THINK HE IS PLAYING WITH A REAL GUN, WHEN IT

IS A TOY GUN.

WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO?

WHAT ARE YOU

SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN YOU SEE THE VIDEO OF PHILANDO CASTILE

POLITELY TELLING THE COP I HAVE A GUN IN THE CAR, AND STILL

GETTING SHOT WITHIN SECONDS.

ARE YOU NOT SUPPOSED TO SAY

ANYTHING?

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CHALLENGE ANY POWER

WHATSOEVER.

THAT IS THE MESSAGE HERE AND I THINK THAT IS

PROBLEMATIC TO SAY THE LEAST, ESPECIALLY IF YOU GALLIVANTING

AROUND TOWN ESPECIALLY IF YOU BELIEVE IN FREE SPEECH.

FREE

SPEECH MEANS ALLOWING PEOPLE TO SPEAK OUT WHEN

THEY SEE

INJUSTICE.

IN THIS CASE THERE HAS BEEN COUNTLESS CASES OF INJUSTICE.

THEY HAVE SAID

OVER AGAIN THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT PROTEST THINGS LIKE THE

TAMIR RICE SHOOTING.

WHAT CONSERVATIVES TELL YOU IS SCREW

THE FIRST AMENDMENT, I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR RIGHT TO

PROTEST, THE MINUTE YOU DO I WILL CALL YOU A THUG,

TERRORISTS, AND SUE YOU.

WHAT DO YOU WANT THEM TO DO?

CONSERVATIVES WANT YOU TO BE QUIET AND KNOW YOUR ROLE.

FOR A

ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE IT.

MEANING ALL OF THE REST OF US.

WE ARE

NOT GOING TO TAKE IT, WE WILL DO THINGS THAT ARE AMERICAN LIKE

PROTEST, AND DEMAND OUR RIGHTS AND DEMAND NOT TO BE KILLED.

YOU PROTECT COPS THAT KILL PEOPLE, DOESN'T THAT INCITE

BRIGHT PINK, ORANGE, AND YELLOW NEON MAKEUP LOOK: MAKEUP MONDAY| KOSMIC KRISTEN - Duration: 5:24.

Hey everyone is Kristen and today we're going to be doing a bright neon look for

summer to start out I've used tape to outline where I want the edges to stop

and I'm using the morphe picasso palette the bright pink color to start and I'm

putting this all in the crease and the outer corners of the eye trying to

create a triangle or wing shape in the outer corner

here I'm adding color then blending it out until I'm happy with the saturation

of color and the blend

and I'm also adding a little bit of color to the outer lid portion as well

next using the same morphe palette we're going to go in wit h a bright orange and

we're going to be putting this on the middle part of our eyelid blending it

with the pink on the edges next using the Urban Decay's we'll spectrum palette

we're going to using this bright yellow called Calavera ever putting this in the

inner corner on the top and bottom lid

making sure to blend it in with the orange color as well

now I'm taking off the tape and I'm going to be cleaning up the edges using

concealer making sure that it's a nice sharp edge then with that angled brush

I'm taking the same pink color and putting it on the rest of the bottom

portion of the lid and I'm going to be kind of blending this together with a

fluffy brush now I'm going in with a black liquid liner and making a very dramatic

black wing

now we're using a little bit of black eyeshadow to extend the eyeliner to the

bottom using the Revlon all-in-one ultimate mascara I'm going to be using

as on my top lashes and this helps with length I'm going to be using the

scandaleyesfrom Rimmel to help with the thickness of the lashes then I also put

a little bit of mascara on the bottom lashes as well then to clean up the face

I'm using little bit of Elf powder the Sigma Aura powder for blush

using the NYX liquid suede cream lipstick and shade pink lust and I'm

using the shade orange county for the middle portion of my lips to create an

ombre type effect

and that completes this summary bright neon look let me know what you guys

hey guys welcome to cook with Nancy if you're new to my channel or you haven't

subscribed already please go ahead and subscribe right now today I'm gonna show

you guys useful kitchen hacks tips and tricks these are things that I learned

over years working at the kitchen and I'm doing two parts this is the part one

and I will soon share with you guys part two knife is one of the most important

tool in the kitchen if you want to maintain the sharpness and the lifespan

of the knife you have to make sure every time you cut something or wash your

knife you have to clean them right away with the paper towel or the kitchen

towel and make sure you do not dish wash them most of the knives are not

dishwasher proof and because of the detergent they get worn out and also once

you finish with the cleaning process you have to put them back where it belongs

like a stand or the knife holder that way you can maintain the lifespan of the

knife and the sharpness to peel a ginger always use a spoon by holding the

head of the spoon and just scoop it from top to bottom this is the easiest way to

peel the ginger instead of using the peeler to get a maximum juice out of the

lemon or the lime u always make sure you massage well on the countertop or any

firm area and then just squeeze out the lemon juice or lime juice in a bowl let

way you get the maximum juice out of it once you're done squeezing out lime juice on

lemon juice do not throw them away this is the best way to clean your cutting

board it's especially wooden board by adding this little bit salt now rub them

nicely on the cutting board both side if you're using both side and then clean it

with paper towel now that once that is done I'm going to add one teaspoon of

olive oil or any oil and then rub it all over your cutting wood this maintains

your cutting board and also seals your cutting board this way you can use this

for a longer period of time to check the freshness of egg fill the pot with water

halfway through and place the eggs that you want to check if the eggs doesn't float and

it's inside the water it's good to go those are fresh but if the egg starts

floating all the way up that has to be discarded immediately because those are

spoiled ones to maintain the freshness of chili

whether it's a green chilli on red chilli snap out the stem from the chiles and

then place them in a ziploc bag and store it at a frigerator this way the

chiles would remain fresh for a longer period of time to store any kind of

greens including spinach kale all the green onions all you have to do is

remove any tribe or rotten ones from the bunch of greens that you would like to

store and then use the kitchen towel that is wet and excess water is squeezed out

you can also use muslin cloth now cover this up and then place it in a plastic

bag or even a ziplock bag this helps to maintain the freshness of

the greens till the next use when you buy avocados there is two ways to check

if it's ripe one is dark green color outside a second way to check is when it

touch the stem on top it will be so soft and movable this way you can find out

avocado even your screen most of the time we buy cream or sauce any kind of

sauce that is used and we have leftover that needs to be refrigerated sometimes

you will see there is a mode that is on the rim of the cap to avoid this use

cling wrap on the mount of the bottle or the container and cover it up

every time you use the sauce or anything that needs to be refrigerated change the

cling wrap that way it maintains the freshness till the expiry date

we need cut okra/ lady's finger your knife tends to get very sticky and

also when cook the vegetable it tends to be very soggy if you want to avoid the

stickiness and also to make the vegetable crispy when you fry them all u have to

do is cut half a lemon and rub it over your life before you cut Okra and go

ahead and cit all okra you will not see any stickiness and okra will be

crispy when you fry them as you see there is no stickiness in my knife the

easiest way to peel the garlic and also separate the garlic from the whole bulb

place it in a glass jar and cover it shake it well for a couple of seconds

and open the lid and see the garlic is separated from the bulb now we will go

ahead remove the garlic peel the same method

place it in a glass jar and shake it for couple of seconds now you can see the

garlic is separated from the peel these are few kitchen hacks that I learned over

That's great and idealistic, if you've got the money.

And the resources to make it happen.

But, let's be honest: a lot of people don't.

People get really hell-bent on everything being in-house.

And the truth is...

By "outside" I mean, not employees.

On top of that, they are off-shoring.

The market is certainly changing in that.

People are trying to cut down on costs any way they can.

But it's an inevitability.

Even if we wanted to cultivate another generation,

the pipeline is drying.

You've got to start thinking of other ways

in which you can bring people in.
