Chinese scientists just TELEPORTED an object into Earth�s orbit for the FIRST time

�Beem me up, Scotty!� Chinese scientists have managed to teleport an object into Earth�s

orbit for the first time ever. If you ask me, that�s a pretty big deal.

only possible in science fiction movies. In fact, in the early 1990�s scientists speculated

that teleportation could be possible with the aid of quantum physics.

Since the idea was proposed, experts made great progress and in 2016 managed to successfully

conduct the world�s first quantum teleportation outside of a laboratory.

But experts didn�t want to stop there so they stepped up a notch. Now, experts in China

managed to achieve the �unachievable� after they successfully teleported a photon

from our planet to a satellite orbiting Earth more than 500 kilometers away. Pretty awesome

right?

This revolutionary experiment was conducted between the Micius�a Chinese quantum satellite

named after Chinese philosopher from the 5th century BC�and a ground station in Asia

where scientists managed to transfer the photon from Earth to space.

The Chinese satellite was launched into orbit in 2016. Micius is equipped with state-of-the-art

technology featuring a super sensitive photon receiver which enables the satellite to detect

the quantum state of a single photon which is fired at it from the Earth.

But not only did Chinese scientists teleport the FRIST object ever from our planet into

space, they basically created a revolutionary satellite-to-ground quantum network, which

eventually allowed them to beat the record for the longest distance for which entanglement

has been measured. And why is entanglement so important here?

Because �Quantum teleportation� relies on �quantum entanglement,� a phenomenon

where one set of objects�like the photon�appears at the same instant and point in space�sharing

the �same existence�.

Furthermore, as noted by Futurism, �this shared existence continues even when the photons

are separated � meaning a measurement on one immediately influences the state of the

other, regardless of the distance between them.�

Scientists explain that this extraordinary link is what allows us to transmit quantum

information essentially by uploading and downloading the information assigned to one �object�

or photon in this case, over an �entangled link� to another photon/object. The second

photon/object takes on the identity of the first, in other words, TELEPORTATION.

�Long-distance teleportation has been recognized as a fundamental element in protocols such

as large-scale quantum networks and distributed quantum computation,� report Chinese scientists

to MIT Technology Review.

�Previous teleportation experiments between distant locations were limited to a distance

on the order of 100 kilometers, due to photon loss in optical fibers or terrestrial free-space

channels,� they added.

But� how did Chinese experts know they�ve actually achieved teleportation? Scientists

created entailed pairs of photons on the ground facility at a rate of around 4,000 per second

and beamed ONE of the photons to their satellite�orbiting Earth 500 km above�and kept the other one

the ground. Eventually, they measured the photons on the ground and in orbit in order

to confirm the entanglement was taking place.

And while all of this may sound like Star Trek technology to many of us, the truth is

that it�s not quite as that. At least not yet. Why? Because we still can�t transport

anything large.

Also, while there is also no �maximum teleportation distance� entanglement is extremely fragile

and the links are unstable, meaning they can easily be broken.

However, this new study paves the way for revolutionary technology that could maybe

one day, help us make reality what we�ve only seen in science

fiction movies.

Signs Your Soul Is Sleeping, Waiting To Be Awakened

Merriam-Webster defines the soul as �the immaterial essence, animating principle, or

actuating cause of an individual life.� It�s that part of you that drives you for

life.

So having a sleeping soul is like sitting in a car with no gas, no steering wheel, and

flat tires. You aren�t really going anywhere. Here�s how to determine if you�re in desperate

need of a spiritual awakening.

Authority. People with dormant souls don�t really believe they have much reason to question

authority figures or the people in charge. They trust their parents, their teachers,

people who give them advice, implicitly. Lifestyle blog Power of Positivity explains that an

awakened soul �takes nothing as truth until [they�ve] looked into it and decided on

it for yourself.�

Trends. People with awakened souls don�t just go along with what everyone thinks is

cool, the music everyone likes, the ideas everyone accepts. They forge their own way.

If you find yourself following trends, your inner soul may still be sleeping. Power of

Positivity elaborates, �You stand strong in your truth even if you only represent a

handful of people who know what you do,� when your soul is awakened.

Change. People with awakened souls have accepted that change is coming whether they want it

to or not, and they are ready to jump on board the change train. A dormant soul however is

fairly accepting of the status quo, doesn�t see any reason for things to be changing,

and accepts the change imposed onto them as completely acceptable. Someone with an awakened

soul �probably can�t understand why this world operates how it does,� according to

Power of Positivity. Awakened souls are always questioning.

People. A dormant soul is part of the crowd, while an awakened soul is at the front of

the parade. They�re leaders. And according to Power of Positivity, if your soul is awake,

�you sometimes feel very alone and isolated in society, but know that most leaders do.�

It isn�t easy leading the revolution, but someone has got to do it. �Even if you take

the road less traveled,� the site continues, �you feel honored to know what you do and

have the fortitude to stick to your guns no matter what.�

Closed mind. An awakened soul has a mind that�s like a sieve, filled with many, many holes

allowing new information and ideas to penetrate but not get stuck. The things you need to

know will catch, and the things you don�t will push through. A dormant soul will be

entirely closed off to everything, no matter what it is. Even if that idea is something

you might have actually come to agree with, you�re set in your ways, and have no plans

of changing or even hearing something new.

Conversation. Dormant souls like engaging in conversation, but nothing too deep. You

like to keep the conversation light, airy, and buoyant. But fairly awakened souls know

that there are deeper things that need to be discussed. They aren�t fans of small

talk. Power of Positivity explains, �You probably tell people what they need to hear,�

if your soul is awakened, �not what they want to hear.�

REDDIT. When it comes to the tough questions in life, there are a few places we love to

turn, without fail. And once your soul has been awakened, once you realize it has been

sleeping, you can finally stretch, take stock of your life, and get to what�s really important

in life. And that�s following your dreams and pursuing your goals. We wanted to see

if any Redditors had good advice about following their dreams, and as always, they came through!

Nobody gets to simply �follow their dreams� or to put it more clearly, everyone has BS

that they need to deal with. You will still need to file taxes, pay mortgages, deal with

life even if you have an occupation that you love� I lean towards the �follow your

dreams� crowd and I�ve had a happy and interesting and profitable career and I�m

glad that I made the choices that I did when I was young. But I still have to deal with

a lot of BS in life so don�t think that you can escape it. My friends that buckled

down and went into careers that they didn�t necessarily feel strongly about but they knew

they would do well have also thrived and most of them certainly have more money than me.

It is really up to you and what you want to look back on when you view your life in the

rear-view mirror.�

can change though as you grow and develop. I actually just saw a great video on recently

that talks about following your dreams and stepping up to your own plate� Being in

teaching now for over a decade, I�ve come to realize the profession is nowhere near

what I had dreamed of for my life and I can�t imagine encouraging anyone to become one.

If I would have �followed my dreams� chances are, I would be way more successful�so that�s

what I�m doing. The teaching job is now just a catapult to what I should be doing

instead.�

it but others might disagree with my definition� I�ve certainly had ups/downs and setbacks

but I�ve never let that stop me from continuing to push ahead with what I want to learn. I

decide for myself where I want to go and what I want to learn. However, I also try to be

open minded to what others suggest so I�ll put their suggestions up against my own internal

voice to see if it�s a good fit and if it is, I�ll go for it. But I try to NEVER let

someone else�s ideas override my internal voice because sometimes you just have to stand

your ground when everyone else thinks you�re making a HUGE mistake.�

what it means to you to be successful and what your dreams actually are. My dream life

is just laying around f*cking my wife all day, smoking weed, and eating grilled cheese

sandwiches. But my career dream is to make a living doing something that I find interesting

and put enough money under the mattress to not have to worry about it. As far as dreams

go that�s pretty tame but really that�s it.�

dream must be your full time job is bs. You can achieve your dream in many ways. The fact

is, even most successful entrepreneurs don�t give a crap about their core business. But

it�s what they are good at and passionate about.�

The Spiderman PS4 game can learn A LOT from Spider-Man Homecoming - Duration: 6:00.

If you're subscribed to this channel you'd know that I'm not a HUGE comic book fan,

if you're NOT a subscriber of this channel, you should be.

We got some fun conversation starters for you to dive into and will continue to every

Thursday at 4PM eastern time, but I'm getting into the weeds here.

ANYWAY!

Spider-Man is one of my few comic book touch stones.

I've loved Spider-Man for as long as I can remember.

After my Sonic the Hedgehog phase my next bedroom theme was Spider-Man.

I've played most of the games and have seen all of the major movies.

I'VE EVEN READ SOME COMICS!

& THAT is a MAJOR deal for a casual superhero fan such as myself.

SO YOU CAN BET that I was FILLED with excited when I saw that Spider-Man PS4 was announced

and the MOMENT I could I rushed to see Homecoming.

But, therein lies the problem.

Homecoming might be coloring my expectations for the PS4 game in a way that will lead to

disappointment.

Spider-Man Homecoming is easily the best film adaptation of everyone's favorite responsible

neighborhood arachnid based hero, it may be my personal favorite iteration of the character

to date in ANY medium.

With that being said, I'm sure you can imagine Spider-Man PS4 has a lot to live up to in

my eyes and I'm sure many other Spidey fans out there feel the same maybe even some of

you watching this video.

In my opinion that all boils down to the direction of the movie and what we know of the game's

direction kind of clashing with what typically works in games.

The movie is all about a young inexperienced Peter Parker coming to grips with what being

Spider-Man entails on his journey to becoming an Avenger.

The game on the other hand focuses on an older more tested Peter Parker with no shortage

of techniques, gadgets, and gizmos at his disposal.

& there is where my major hangup is.

I don't see how a game that begins on 1000 in terms of abilities and experience can possibly

maintain itself throughout a game that potentially spans 10s of hours.

The game is the first in a new franchise, there's tons of things that the PLAYER won't

be experienced in, so the idea that we're given a bunch of unexplained tools and abilities

at our disposal is worrying to me.

If we look at Insomniac's last marque title, Sunset Overdrive you may be able to better

see where I'm coming from.

There's a lot of weapons and ways to traverse the world that would feel bloated and overly

complicated had they not trickled them out to the player at a good clip.

The same can be said for Spider-Man.

All of this isn't to say they WON'T pace players and effectively teach them how to

use Spider-Man abilities, but it wouldn't be congruent with the game's story if they

use Peter Parker to do so.

In storytelling there's a thing called patching, that's how storytellers provide justification

for things existing in their story that aren't consistent with what can be reasonably assumed

by a consumer.

Spider-Man's animated eyes in reality exist because they convey emotion in a way that

isn't possible otherwise.

But in the story, that doesn't make much sense, UNTIL they inserted THIS little bit

in Captain America Civil War: A good way to get around Peter Parker's

experience to teach a player would be to use Miles Morales as a stand in for the player,

kind of like how in Homecoming Ned Leeds exists as a stand-in for the viewer.

We get a brief rundown of what an uninformed viewer would need to know in a way that circumvents

the need for a full on origin story.

We have clips like this: to do the heavy lifting.

Miles Morales can be justification for a more experienced Spider-Man to initiate a training

wheels protocol as it were to teach the player what they need to know in a natural way that

makes sense with the story.

Or maybe Peter Parker exists as a bit of a bait and switch in the opening hours of the

game.

Something could happen to Peter (like this Mr Negative scene?) which will lead us to

play as Miles.

This way Peter can serve a similar purpose as Zero in Mega Man X. Briefly show us what

we'll become so we have something to strive for as we progress.

My last hang up is the scope of the game.

I think there's a lot more potential to be had than just creating some world ending

stakes with side quests sprinkled in and leaving it at that.

Spider-Man at it's core is about relationships.

Peter Parker creates the lion's share of Spider-Man's problems and I think it could

be super compelling if that became a part of the gameplay.

& those situations usually begin a lot smaller than they eventually evolve into.

& they're never advertised as these major plot points until they become one.

I think if Spider-Man PS4 were to do something similar to this rather than developing one

set story for everyone to experience the same way it would be a FAR better game than an

Uncharted style set-piece-based game.

MY Peter Parker could be hated by a different set of villains than YOUR Peter Parker.

Maybe I save a potential villain or their loved one so rather than becoming an enemy,

they become an ally.

Or maybe the inverse could happen.

I think a system similar to Shadow of Mordor's nemesis system would be a good way to achieve

this.

For instance, in the process of stopping a bank robbery maybe I fail to stop the robber

before they manage to kill an innocent civilian which leads to a loved one of the victim spiraling

into madness.

WOULDN'T IT BE SICK if a friend of yours caused Venom's introduction into their world

as a formidable foe but in yours he's an ally?

In a move that surprised many, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out the contents of an email exchange

from June 2016 in which the president�s son was explicitly offered information that

would incriminate Hillary Clinton �as part of Russia and its government�s support for

Mr. Trump,� according to the emails.

The email chain, titled �Re: Russia � Clinton � private and confidential,� contains

communication between Donald Trump Jr. and music publicist Rob Goldstone.

In it, Goldstone set up a meeting at Trump Tower with Trump Jr. and �Russian government

lawyer� Natalia Veselnitskaya, along with then-campaign-manager Paul Manafort and Donald

Trump�s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The meeting was based on an offer, passed along by Goldstone on behalf of the Russian

government, to provide Donald Trump�s campaign with incriminating evidence regarding Hillary

Clinton.

�If it�s what you say I love it,� Trump Jr. replied, according to the email he released.

Trump Jr. posted a statement along with the full email chain, claiming no information

about Hillary Clinton was exchanged and that �the woman� simply wanted to discuss adoption

policy regarding Russian children and American families.

Trump Jr.�s lawyer, Alan Futerfas, told the New York Times in an email on Monday that

�his client had done nothing wrong but pledged to work with investigators if contacted.�

Futerfas also seems to be completely unaware that his client explicitly and enthusiastically

agreed to the meeting under the assumption that he would be receiving dirt on Hillary

Clinton.

According to Futerfas:

�This is much ado about nothing.

During this busy period, Robert Goldstone contacted Don Jr. in an email and suggested

that people had information concerning alleged wrongdoing by Democratic Party front-runner,

Hillary Clinton, in her dealings with Russia.

Don Jr.�s takeaway from this communication was that someone had information potentially

helpful to the campaign and it was coming from someone he knew.

Don Jr. had no knowledge as to what specific information, if any, would be discussed.�

It appears he missed this part of the email from Goldstone:

�Good morning.

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting

offered to provide the Trump Campaign with some official document and information that

would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your

father.

�This is obviously very high-level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its

government�s support for Mr. Trump � helped along by Aras and Emin.�

There is a lot of speculation as to exactly what this revelation means.

The emails don�t provide concrete evidence of collusion, however blatantly obvious the

implication may be.

They simply lay out that an offer had been made by someone claiming to represent the

Russian government and a meeting had followed.

This latest publicity stunt is in line with the way the Trump administration has been

using social media to keep mainstream media outlets chasing their tails.

It certainly sends a clear message to the public: We could have done it if we wanted

to, and we might have.

P15 - Full Review - Duration: 16:09.

Hello, everyone! This is Marcos Paulo, from MPLA Airguns UK.

And for those who wanted that, today we have the P15!

A complete review, in English, only in here! Stay tuned!

Hey, guys. I have to start this review, saying that I am impressed!

This gun is extremely light-weight. It is impressive that a gun as good and powerful as it is, relatively silent as it is, be so light.

The Chinese people are to be congratulated. They got to do a real improvement of P10, that is this P15.

Starting with the scope, as always, I use my Hawke Panorama, it is 2-7x32. The tests were made in a range of 25 meters. This is the range I have here.

So, let us go to the gun.

The side-lever is not steadfast. When the magazine is placed, it grabs a bit to push the pellet through the barrel. I do not know if it is because it is new, I have to be honest.

But it was proven very difficult to push the pellet inside, after cocking it. It is hard to do it.

However, the side-lever is very well made. Probably a "brushed" metal, maybe inox steel.

The magazine is 9 rounds. I will add a video of how to load the magazine. The magazine damages the pellets a bit. I will show how to place the magazine.

It enters back facing, this part faces the shooter. You place it on the top and push it.

Let us go, I will try to close it. But, look, it stuck, ok? You see that? It is very, very hard!

But, once you get used to it, and probably after some use. It will be wearing out a bit, maybe the magazine or even the probe (piece used to push the pellet).

It will probably become smoother to use.

Hey guys for you to load the magazine of the P15. It is 100% plastic. So, you turn the front, there is a spring inside.

By the end, the position to add the first pellet is not available. So, it means that the first pellet you insert it from behind.

You see the difficulty.

The pellet is perfect for a while. Entering backward. It does not go very well. Ups… Done!

If you turn it back, facing to you, the pellet may not fall down, but…. see… it dropped. And you see that the pellet has started to be damaged.

So, you have to be very careful. Add the first…

9 pellets (.22). 1, 2, 3 with some damage.

It is not a good magazine. It is something that Artemis should improve a lot. But it is a work for the "Artists" of 3D printers.

Well, this is the main point, in relation to the magazine.

The trigger is adjustable and 2 stages. The first stage is shorter, compared to other guns. And the second stage, with the shoot.

The air cylinder is satisfactory, I think. A gun to be used on the field, it has to be light-weight and precise. And this gun matches these requisites. So, I would recommend it to the field.

To fill it, you have to pull the cylinder cap, and it uses a fill probe, with a foster on the other side, which makes it much easier.

It comes with an integrated silencer and there is a very important detail on the silencer.

As the same as other guns, like Edgun and Daystate Saxon, these small holes on the shroud, helps to reduce the air dispersion and also helps to reduce the noise of the gun when you shoot.

The matter of the sound itself….

It is not loud… again… It is a gun, I would say, with a medium-low level of noise.

The stock is a very simple wood, with not many details on the wood. But is light-weight, so it meets the purpose of being a Bullpup.

The ergonomics are very good, similar to other bullpups. The gun is… very light. You can hold it with just one hand.

The shooting position is very easy, very fitted. It holds very well on the shoulder.

For those who like the field, usually, the positions are kneeling, aiming up, aiming down.

So, this gun has these characteristics to facilitate these positions.

The safe, I sincerely do not trust very much.

It is a mechanical safety and it holds the fire just by a small piece on the trigger guard. So, if it wears out or if it is not well locked,

The gun may have an accidental shot, I the case of misuse. But, safety at the first place. Those who buy this gun, please, be careful with this.

The User Manual is very complete. It explains about safety norms, how to safely use the gun.

This channel strongly recommends, that all the owners of Airguns, before you use it, to read all the User Manual.

Why? Doing this, you reduce the chance of accidents, reduce the risks of using a gun.

Some things made me reduce the "average rating" for the gun.

The finishing. It is not a very well finished gun, it comes with some minor cosmetic details on the cylinder. I took it out of the box (brand new) and it came that way already.

Some details in plastic. For example, the cheek piece, that is the area where your face touches the gun. Is not very well made, it seems to be a rough plastic.

I think they could do that on wood, covering a little more.

In general, this gun is fitted for those who do not want to expend a lot of money on a gun. The technical information were shown already.

So now we will test these five different types of pellets.

So, let's go? Let's get started!

Hey guys, let us go to the test of performance and accuracy of the P15.

Today we are going to use 5 different types of pellets with different weights, different shapes.

Accupell: 14.3gr | Predator Polymag Shorts: 15.89gr JSB Exact Jumbo: 15.89gr | Bisley Magnun: 21.0gr AirArms (by JSB): 18.13gr.

I will to a session of shooting with each one, and by the end, the one which had the better performance, I will use an additional target to do a 3-magazine test.

Let us see which one is going to be the winner. Which pellet will have the better performance on the P15.

They are in decreasing order. You are seeing the results.

Predator Polymag Shorts was not very well. JSB Exact Jumbo was ok, but I think it could be better. AirArms (by JSB) performed very well as so Bisley Magnum.

And against the expectative of many, probably, Accupell (14.3gr) did 0.48in with no flyers. It beats the Bisley which had two flyers.

And… that's it!

First Full-Scale Hyperloop Test and Major Competitors - Duration: 3:55.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a quick update about what's going on in the tube travel community.

Yesterday morning, Hyperloop One released a video of their first full-scale test,

and I'm really excited about this because it shows that people are not just talking about tube travel,

but they're actually trying to make it happen.

Not only that, but we're seeing a lot of competition between Hyperloop One and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies.

Both of these companies have set goals of implementing the first systems within 3 or 4 years,

and I'm sure they have to fight pretty hard for investor money and media attention,

but the market for this is huge, so I don't really see any reasons why they can't both succeed.

I think the competition is more about who can do it first.

So it's pretty clear that H1 and HTT are frontrunners in the race for tube travel,

but there's actually another company I wanted to talk about that might hold even more promise,

and this company is called Hyper Chariot.

They launched about a month ago, so you could argue that they're getting into the game kind of late,

but they actually have a head start because they are a licensee of the ET3 consortium.

ET3 has been developing this technology for 20 years.

Licensees have been building and testing their ideas and contributing to a pool of intellectual property

that can be used by any of the other licensees of ET3.

So keeping this in mind, I think Hyper Chariot has a good chance of competing with H1 and HTT.

Also, there are a couple major ways that Hyper Chariot sets itself apart,

probably the most important of which is their tube diameter, which is 1.5 meters.

On the other hand, Hyperloop One is looking at 3.5 meters.

And obviously 3.5 meters is going to be a lot roomier than 1.5,

but if you think about how cost varies with tube diameter,

H1's system is probably going to be about 5 to 6 times more expensive to build,

and since cost is usually the biggest roadblock to infrastructure projects,

Hyper Chariot will definitely have an advantage in funding their system.

The other thing that I really like about Hyper Chariot is their business strategy.

It looks like H1 and HTT are not planning on making any revenue until their full-scale systems are built,

which could be awhile, but Hyper Chariot has plans to start making revenue by 2018.

They're planning to build a virtual reality experience to show people what it would feel like to ride in their system,

and by 2021, they plan to build a 3-mile-long tube as an amusement park ride that would launch people through at 400 mph.

I think the genius in this strategy is that it allows both progress and profit to be made without risking huge upfront costs.

So if Hyper Chariot is successful in building these profitable systems,

investors will have all of the proof they need, and a system between two major cities,

and eventually a global network, would be inevitable.

Finally, I want to say congratulations to Hyperloop One for a successful full-scale test,

and I'm looking forward to seeing any new developments with HTT or Hyper Chariot in the next few months.

If you are in a position to invest in tube travel, I highly recommend these companies

because I really do think they'll be successful.

On the other hand, if you're not in a position to invest, just talk about the concept.

There are plenty of people who still don't know about tube travel,

so you can have an impact just by spreading awareness.
