Hey guys welcome back to my channel apologies it's been a long time since I was
here last and this video is all about my Amazon Prime day spending.
Went a little bit overboard bought a bunch of stuff, hopefully I need most of it
Gonna share that with you and as you'll see on the floor a big pile of boxes
been sat there for a couple of days
I need to really be opening these things
because some of the things that I bought I actually need to be using
So what I'm going to do now is open those here in front of you and let you see all the things that I bought
Okay! As if by magic I'm now surrounded by boxes...
So let's get to it. The first one I bought this... Amazon Prime started on the
Tuesday evening before the Wednesday so I sneakily bought this on Tuesday night
I'm a big fan of Amazon Prime because things tend to be here the next day, so that means this has
been sat here since Wednesday and I'm filming this on Friday.
Brief story this actually got delivered to my neighbour, who thought it was theirs despite my
name thing on the front of it so they did open it saving me the trouble of doing so
So what I've bought here is a Wi-Fi light bulb
now the Wi-Fi light bulb is relatively straightforward it's something you can
control via Wi-Fi and if I try and get the box
open...... it looks like a regular light bulb
(ping)
What you do is you plug it into your lamp as normal and then you can control it
via your phone. It also comes in various different colours so you can use
your phone to turn the light on when you're perhaps
if you're out when you know you're going home it's going to be dark, make people think
you're home or you're upstairs and you noticed that it's on, don't have to go back downstairs,
get your phone turn it off jobs a good 'un. I needed a bulb for the living room lamp
anyway they're normally about 20 quid think mine came about 14 so saved a fiver
on something I was probably going to buy anyway
Win! Alright next up this little bit of mystery because I'm opening it not know what
most these boxes I don't know is which is in each one as I open it
this is an Amazon fire TV stick Alexa voice control. I'm guessing
you're all relatively familiar with the Amazon fire product
plug it into the side of your TV connect to the Wi-Fi and
allows you to watch a whole bunch stuff on your TV by using this box. Very cool. Amazon own
them of course on Amazon Prime day they knocked them down from £39.99
to £29.99 and I have a sneaky plan as to what I'm going to do with this can't tell you
about it because it's not entirely legal and we'll leave that there. Another box
and they make them easy to open, which is good. I'm sure some of these going to be super
exciting for you. This this is set of kitchen scales, feels like I'm on the
generation game remember all this stuff as it goes along
and so for business I actually need this can't really tell you about the
business thing either so apologies I'm kind of giving you no information
whatsoever but let you be known this was about 20 quid and then it came down to
about nine quid. Digital scales for the kitchen, does what it says on the tin
Another box, this one feels quite heavy. And, I'll cover up my address, branded Amazon Prime day packaging
Oh, this one's got two inside. That is a treat and I assure you, you are going
to be impressed with what's in this box
First up, a book! Is it one of the latest bestsellers, that everybody's trying to
get their hands on? Probably not, this book is called
get coding! and it teaches you all about how to do internet stuff which is good
because that's kind of what I do for a living
I think that's enough about that. The other thing much is interesting this is
a showerhead and cable! I needed one, I guess the less said about that the better
but it was cheap, it was about five quid and now I've got a shower cable
okay
One big box remaining, pretty sure I know what's inside this one. I'm hoping there's only one thing in it
I suppose the good thing is now is that once I
have all these open, I can actually use them
they've kind of just been sat on the floor.
Which, I think we all agree is a waste of money and creates a bit of mess. Good old Amazon
there, they've provided us with some paper.

we have a personal fitness scale.
now these are scales for your bathroom and they apparently allow you to check your
body fat, hydration, muscle and bone with BIA principle
what?!
Calculates suggested calorie intake...
hmmm
and is made of glass and generally weighs you. The reason I bought this
one, because it was reduced and two if you're not already familiar with my blog
which is sharemyyear.co.uk. I've started a fitness journey, three months
trying to get myself back into shape after the marathon. I have been pretty
lazy, so I'm back into running and now doing some weights and I want to try and
keep tabs on my weight. Whilst weight's not 100% important
when you're trying to get fit, it is a metric that's good to keep an eye on so with these fancy
scales....which are really heavy, they were cheaper anyway... just a thought..
they probably didn't come with batteries so I can't use it straight away but they will
allow me to keep tabs on whether my weight is going up or down
that is it
yeah. So, I'm going to try and put some this stuff to use and in the meantime I
would very much like it if you could give me a thumbs up because I love the
