MARSHMALLOW SLIME TUTORIAL | PRESS CC FOR ENGLISH SUBS! - Duration: 3:31.

Hi everyone, this is Mini from minicuteclub! For today..

Ta-da!

Today, I'd like to make edible slime using marshmallows!

Let's get started!

These are what you need!

A microwaveable bowl,

Marshmallows, and corn starch!

First, I'm going to put the marshmallows into the bowl

I'm going to use a microwave to melt the marshmallows

Let's head to the microwave!

Alright, it's all melted!

Mix the marshmellows thoroughly

It's hard to see since it's white on white, so I'm going to move it over to this bowl!

It looks hot.. but it tasty!

Now add some starch and mix until it turns slime-like and you're done!

Let's add the corn starch in small portions

Now I'm just going to keep stirring...

When the mixture starts to form texture, start kneading using a plastic bag or gloves

Now it's really starting to take shape!

Now before we go on to the next step, make sure your hands are clean!

It has a very soft and chewy texture, and it's warm like baby's skin. Feels so cuddly!

And now, the edible slime is complete!

Oooh, sooo stretchy!

A croissant!

Right now, I'm warming up a chocolate pen in warm water!

I'd like to decorate the slime with this!

I'm going to draw a face on this ball!

Now I'm going to draw buttons on the body!

I made a snowman using chocolate and marshmallow slime!

I think it turned out pretty cute!

Now I'd like to give it a try!

It's pretty good!

For people with small kids around, this edible slime might be a safer option!

Thank you so much for watching my video!

I will be uploading more videos, so I would greatly appreciate it if you subscribe and press the bell button to join the notif family!

[GIVEAWAY] What It's like Being on YouTube | 4 Advice for Creativity - Duration: 16:09.

Hi guys, so I'm doing 1,000 subscribers giveaway in this video. So please stay tuned, and thank you so much for making this happen

That's more than the number of my Facebook friends, and it feels very huge for me.

So to express my gratitude, I'm doing a giveaway

And I'll be selecting four winners for the prize, and the prize is going to be a book.

I know that not a lot of people are that enthusiastic about reading,

but trust me, the power good books can have in your life is immense.

I'll be announcing the winners and which book is the prize in one of my future videos

and I'll ship that book to your home address.

Before I tell you how the giveaway works, I want to share four lessons I learned from my creative experience on YouTube

that I hope would encourage you to start your own creative Journey and

awaken that hidden treasure within you: Creativity.

It doesn't have to be making youtube videos. It could be your own painting, blog post, poetry, music

choreography, or even business

and whatever that is, if you choose to join the creative journey, your life will be filled with so much joy, vitality and sense of purpose.

So first of all,

it is crucial to understand the importance of idea before you start your creative journey.

So this world consists of two things: the visible and the invisible.

Pretty much every visible thing, at least man-made visible thing, comes from the invisible.

Everything begins with an idea.

All achievement, all earned riches, all man-made tangible forms have their beginning in an idea.

Facebook started from an idea

Microsoft started from an idea

Starbucks started from an idea, this book started from an idea

Someone made this food because it was on their head first to make this food, my YouTube channel started from an idea,

every man-made tangible thing has their origin in an idea.

And here's a fresh perspective on ideas and creativity:

So, idea is from the Divine world

and it is finding a human collaborator to be manifested into a form

so if the idea came to you, congratulations,

you've been chosen by the divine world, and it wants to work with you.

Of course, ideas don't come to you fully formed. Turning those ideas into tangible forms takes a lot of work, faith,

focus, courage, and hours of devotion which all together form your creativity.

But it's exciting and fulfilling and also you get to have a souvenir at the end of the process, your creation.

You can call it your baby, your brainchild, and whatever you call it looking back on it

it will make you feel so proud and feel that all the sweat and effort you put into it were worth it.

So finally here are the four lessons

I learned that will help you greatly during your creative journey.

If you want to keep up with your creative activities

they will have to be based on your genuine interest not the interests that you pursue

because other people are doing it or because you mainly want fame or money.

And your genuine interest will not necessarily be something that is considered popular,

which means many people might not understand your interest and creation, especially in the beginning.

However, it is far more important that it excites YOU first before it does to your audience

because you are the creator

and you cannot give your audience what you don't have.

If you're not inspired first,

you cannot give inspiration. If you're not excited first, you cannot excite your audience, at least not long enough.

You are the creator, not your audience

and you have to be excited enough

to keep on going in order for your audience to catch up with your enthusiasm and sense of purpose.

So I think genuine interest equals passion.

Many people mistake temporary strong arousal of interest in something as passion,

but it's not. Passion is long-term, steady and consistent interest.

If you think you haven't found your passion yet, think of something that has long been part of your life

and you took for granted that it does not possibly cross your mind

"Oh, maybe that's my passion!"

So for example, my passion is writing, English and Spirituality.

So I always loved to write since childhood.

I remember I secretly used my free time coming up with

imaginary characters and writing fictions, and I also loved writing long letters to people and also my own diary.

But I didn't like writing assignments given at school

nor did I do a good job on them,

and that automatically made me think on a subconscious level that writing is the last thing that can be my passion or my talent.

I unconsciously thought that if something is not related to getting good grade or immediate recognition from other people,

then I have to disregard it.

So I loved writing but at the same time

I was ashamed of loving writing and didn't really pay that much attention to the love I had toward writing.

But now that I know fully that

writing is my passion, especially in English, especially about spirituality and many human issues,

it's easier for me to devote my time and effort to writing without thinking it's stupid or a waste of time

because only with passion you can make your work great and consider it important,

and you see my Youtube videos are all based on my writing.

I'm not necessarily in love with all the filming and video editing process,

but the writing process is what I love so much

and that makes me keep up with this whole Youtube thing even if many parts of it are tough.

So after you identify what your genuine interest is,

something that excites your soul way more than your ego, way more than fear of failure or other people's opinion,

ideas will come to you a lot easily, but when ideas come to you

you'll have both of these emotions simultaneously:

fascination and fear.

Fascination is that a part of your knows that your idea is something fresh, fun and helpful and excites huge part of your soul.

But fascination will always accompany fear. Fear might not show up at first,

but during the creative process, you will sense the presence of fear

Fear of other people's judgement on you or your creation,

fear that comes from knowing that the idea you're conceiving is somehow not in line with the most popular belief,

or maybe it's something considered "uncool" by the masses.

But what's fatal is not the fear itself,

but that you give in to your fear. You let fear get in your way to the extent where it demolishes even your fascination.

But please remember that in your creative journey, what's more important

is that you love and consider important your idea and creative process, more than you fear failure.

So regardless of people's reaction,

it's important that you keep on creating and not be discouraged and give up.

And even if it doesn't have immediate attention or reaction from the public,

believe that somebody out there, even just one person,

needs to hear what you just shared, at least in the future, whether that be a month from now, a year from now, ten years from now.

And consider it a legacy that you're leaving to someone out there.

You have to take pride in your work and know from heart that they matter to keep on going no matter what.

So let's talk about critique. If you join the creative journey, your creation is going to have audience, whether big or small.

And you will get some negative reaction that bothers you in some way, or in obvious ways,

but good news is you will also get positive reactions too,

that will light you up and encourage you even more.

And the truth is negative reaction hurts. Let's be honest, we're all humans.

Of course the intensity of that emotion of hurt would differ depending on the circumstances or the mental state that you're in at the moment,

and also how mean or aggressive that negative critique is,

but knowing in advance that they will hurt helps significantly reduce the damage and frees you even more.

But if you still want some tip, here's the best one: I try to get hurt efficiently,

which means I try to find a meaning in that hurt and turn that hurt into my creative energy.

I think sometimes for your creativity to be maximized,

negative emotions are needed and helpful to a certain degree,

because that will be another driving force to make you want to create something better,

so if you can't avoid them,

it's best to make the better use of them.

One of the things that I consider blessing for my YouTube channel is that my channel didn't start big at all.

It was a very slow growth overall and it's still growing very slowly.

And demographically, the smaller audience means less reaction and less attention, and that takes huge burden off of your shoulder,

especially when you're starting out.

I was never overwhelmed with too much attention or reaction that are beyond what I'm used to or beyond what I can bear

and because of that, I was able to slowly adjust myself to attention and reaction that were increasing gradually

and that way I could focus more on the creative process and my work itself

and figure out what works for me, what kind of psychological pattern I go through. Basically I can analyze myself better, which is crucial.

Training your psychology is very important as much as your creative ability, especially if your work is going to have public audience,

because psychology is the toughest challenge about pretty much any job,

and knowing how to deal with your psychology itself is a big achievement, trust me.

People ask me, how do you come up with all those ideas and thoughts?

The best way to get good ideas and be more creative is to follow the hum.

What do I mean by hum?

Hum also has other names: music from the universe, God's whisper,

and I cannot logically explain what exactly the hum is or how you can listen to the hum,

but from my own experience and reference from so many artists and writers,

I can tell you for sure that you are more likely to hear that hum

when you love more.

So what do I mean by love? You see, love isn't just an emotion that you feel. Love is also an action.

So I would like to define love as an activity that you engage in

accompanied by the emotion of love that makes you be fully present in the moment.

It can be dancing as if no one's watching in the middle of the crowd with your friends,

passionately hugging or kissing someone you love,

devoting your time playing with your children or having intimate conversation with your spouse and enjoying every moment of it.

Something that makes you be so present in the moment,

that you have no attention spare on worrying about what other people think of you or your ego,

because by doing those activities, you are so happy about your state of being itself.

That's the kind of love that will open your heart and ears to hear that hum.

Love is a habit and it requires courage, so it can be hard at first to love like that

to the extent where you become fully present in the moment, and to be honest, in a world where

so many people try to take advantage of your kindness and try to walk all over you and you show your weakness,

it is easy to withhold love no matter how good of a person you are.

But love does not equal disrespecting yourself.

If you tried loving someone,

but you feel that they constantly consider your kindness as being just too easy or naive

or even accuse you of being hypocritical, and mentally drains you even more,

gently move on to find other people to practice love,

and during that process you will influence many people with your love,

even if it doesn't have immediate effect.

So even if it's hard to practice love to everyone and in every moment, which is totally understandable,

I suggest you start simple by picking a day or moment

maybe 15 minutes a day to practice love. And there are so many targets to love and ways of loving.

To give you one of my own examples

I knew someone very kind and I actually really liked him in a man and woman way, and he didn't necessarily like me back

but based on how he handled certain situations and his attitude

I intuitively knew he was not the type of person who was going to take advantage of my feelings.

So I decided not to withhold showing my affection, and I gave many gifts to him,

I sometimes showed up out of the blue to give him a hug or get an autograph, things like that.

And I'm sure it made that person feel good and the best part is,

in those moments that made me happier even more.

And with that sort of energy and happiness, it becomes a lot easier to hear the hum.

And that's just one of the many examples. There are so many ways of loving and you can be creative with the way you love.

It could be loving your friends, be loving your co-workers, your kids,

and speaking of kids,

I think it's easier to love kids because

kids crave love just like we adults do deep inside,

but the huge difference is that children are not afraid to show that crave for love they're more open about it.

So when you show your love to kids, the younger they are, they appreciate it even more

and do not try nor feel the need to hide that they like it, and they give their love back to you.

And that makes it easier to love them even more so if you think it's extremely hard to love in this modern society,

I suggest you find a kid and give them your wholehearted love at that moment.

So people take your idea a lot more seriously when you give it an official form.

Many people that I know in person started taking my words a lot more seriously after I started my YouTube channel,

because when people are listening to the message through screen or through paper

rather than in person, it becomes a lot easier for many people to let their guard down and

really pay full attention and listen to the message itself,

because we're not physically confronting each other, and I think this is the very reason why

inspiration that comes from books or written words are usually stronger and effective than from videos

or a person that you're confronting in person,

because you get to see nothing of the author's physical traits while reading, and vice versa,

so there's less room for judgment or self-consciousness but more room for focusing on and understanding the message itself.

Anyways, so when you have your own official outlet,

the more people are likely to take your work seriously than otherwise

and it's up to you to figure out what is the best type of platform for you to share your message and creation out there.

So there you have it, four lessons that will help you in your own creative journey.

If any one of you were inspired to start your own creative journey,

then let me know, and if you already have your own creative outlet, that's awesome, please keep it up.

After sending, please comment down below the first three letters of your email so that I know who is who when I'm selecting winners.

Thank you so much again, and I look forward to this giveaway, and I will see you on my next video.

Bye!
