Waching daily Jul 27 2017

Hi everyone its Lauren. I've been saying for a while now that I've wanted to do a

little series of videos where I take you guys with me on various different walks

throughout different parts of London, so I'm really happy to say that that's what

we're going to be doing today! This first walk that I want to take you on is in

North London and we're going to be going from Kings Cross to Marylebone so I'm

just about to leave my house and I'm going to go for brunch with Jen Campbell

and she's going to be our tour guide, she's going to be taking us on a walk

along Regents Canal. So we're starting at Kings Cross in Granary Square, we're

going to be walking through Kentish Town, through Camden Town and then the canal

takes you through Regents Park and through Regents Park Zoo - London Zoo, you

can see the animals on either side of the canal. Then we're going to come down

through Regents Park and the plan is to end up in Daunt Books on Marylebone High

Street. This is a really pretty walk and there's lots of really fun things to see

and do on the way as well so hopefully we'll have a good time. It's sunny today

so that bodes well, and I hope you guys have a good fun coming along with us as

well and maybe if you are ever in London is something you can try out for

yourself!

So this is Granary Square behind me which is a really lovely location on the

canal, which has some really nice restaurants. To my left there's also the

House of Illustration which has a lovely shops full of really pretty prints I

can't show you inside unfortunately because they're closed this morning, and

then to my right is also the Kings Cross Theatre which is really cool and

it has a track train track running through the middle of the stage so

when they put on shows like The Railway Children they had an actual steam engine

onstage. So other restaurants you can go through here are Caravan and The Grain

Store, but today we are going to go to Dishoom which is an Indian

restaurant. They have lots of different venues around London not just in Kings

Cross, but they do amazing breakfasts like sausage naans and bacon naans and

curried eggs so let's go find Jen because I am hungry!

We've just been to Dishoom, which as Lauren has probably said is a great Indian restaurant

and it's really awesome because it used to be a warehouse where

the trains from Kings Cross were stored so it's really tall, it's this huge warehouse

Oh I didn't know that! I thought because it's Granary Square

I thought that's where they stored grains or something like from along the canal

I think they did in The Grain Store but Dishoom and Caravan used to be warehouses, so

Caravan is next door and is also this really awesome open space and but they

decided obviously real estate like primary real estate, now they store the

carriages outside London, so there's this huge space that's been developed around Kings Cross

which is where we're standing where they're building all kinds of stuff. So

now we're going to walk along Regents Canal When you come out and down onto

the canal you can turn left and walk all the way along to Canary Wharf and

then this way which is where we're going you can walk all the way along...actually I don't

know how far you can go because I've never gone to the end

Well we have walked all the way to Notting Hill before haven't we? Which is quite far

You can go further than that Lauren's like 'It was far!'

It was quite a long walk!

But this is my favourite walk in London, which is why I'm so glad Lauren has started this series, I'm like 'YES'

We can take you and show you because there are so many houses along

here that are so cute. It's a really lovely walk, so I'm going to show you first

off there's this house that I want to move into it reminds me of...who's the guy in the

railway children? Oh...Potts? It's like Mr. Potts'

house except it's not a railway station house it's a lock house

It does look like that yeah, it's so cute

This is a house I would dearly love to live in. It's so sweet

I feel like every house we see Jen's going to be like 'that's my favourite house'

I have so many houses that I just love

So this is Camden Market and there are two bookshops. We'll show them to you, this is the first one...

This - nitric ice cream! They make it using...what do you call it?

Nitrogen

Yes!

Anyway, best ice cream in London apparently!

So this is the front bit, this is the food market of Camden Market and if you

wanted to, there you can get a little canal boat that goes from Camden all the

way to Little Venice which is the really sweet ride it's a bit...'sweet ride' it sounds like

I'm talking about a car! It's a really nice thing to do, a bit touristy but it's really kind of cute

and then the second bookshop is down there, it's a secondhand bookshop we're

not going to go in it but if you want to know where it is it's next to the food

market

So you know how we said every house along this walk is Jen's favourite house?

This is my favourite street! So any of these houses!

Is that a thing, a canal street? Well it's kind of like the back of houses really isn't it?

each of them has a little boat and a tree house

I'm never going to be able to afford to live here but it's beautiful

This is the boat that I meant that you can get from Little Venice to Camden

We're just round the back of Regents Park Zoo now, so on either side of the canal there are some enclosures

Behind us there is the aviary I guess and on the left hand side there's going to be some African

hunting dogs and some warthogs. We're not in the zoo

we're walking past it I don't know how I feel about zoos in general

I know, me neither Perhaps that is for another video, not for right now

We're coming off the canal now, so we;re going up this bridge and into Regent's Park

People are punting, Lauren!

It's like being in Venice!

okay so we have come from here, somewhere over here and we walked along

the canal pat Kentish Town, to Camden Lock Market and then we walked down this way

along the canal, this is where the zoo is, crossed over here and we walked along here and we're

here. So we're going to go through the Queen Mary garden because they're very

Alice in Wonderland and really sweet and then we're going to come off onto Baker Street

and Marylebone Road and down Marelybone High Street and which is where Daunt Books is!

We're in the Queen's Gardens now we're not going to go past it but I

thought I would also mention that down this way is the open-air theatre, it's

open in the summer between from May and September normally and they it's really

really beautiful theatre, really green, lots of trees and the shows they

have on there a fantastic so if you are in London over the summer

I really recommend checking that out!

Down here are all the beautiful flowers and fountains

It's so hot I actually want to climb in one

Better not!

So we've had Jen's favourite houses, I think these are my favourite houses

Like a town house?

Yeah!

A taaan haaaas?

That's what I'd want, look at them! They're so beautiful

Have we found another favourite? No, no, I don't know if it's a favourite I just love

mews in London, they're really sweet so let's see if they've got any nice houses...

Look at them!

candy coloured!

Shall we go knock on some doors and be like 'are you selling?'

Because I can't afford it if you want to give it to me that would be nice

Hi guys, we're in Daunt Books in Marylebone and this is one of my favourites because as well as just being

very beautiful, over here they arrange the books by country so you can go to Japan

not literally, the section Japan and find all the travel guides but also all the Japanese

literature so if you're just interested in learning about different cultures you

don't need to know what author you're looking for, you can just go over here!

we're going to somewhere to eat now because I'm pretty tired

We are, I have a book though! Jen's bought a book!

But yeah I need food in my stomach

I think this walk overall have taken us... it's quarter past three now, when did we start

about half eleven after breakfast? Yeah about half eleven - quarter to twelve?

Yeah so we've been walking for about three hours now

Bear in mind that we have been stopping to film

So it'll take less time than that, probably an hour and a half

we've been really ambling around so I rekcon hour and a half to two hours maybe max?

so we're on James Street now I think we're on our way to Bond Street that's where we're finishing up

this walk. So thanks for joining us I've had a really nice, I've had a lovely time!

Thanks for taking us round Jen, you've been such

a good tour guide! Can I come round again?

Definitely, you can take us round the whole

of London if you want! Let us know if there's any other areas of London

that you'd like to see, or you'd like us to go to

and we'll see you next time, bye!

Lack of Motivation? Increase Motivation - How to be Motivated to do anything! - Duration: 5:22.

I'll start my diet tomorrow … no really I will.

Ninh explains - Increase motivation - How to be motivated to do anything!

It's perfectly normal to lack motivation from time to time.

We humans are programmed to find the easiest and stress free way of doing things.

But sometimes, ding this leads up to doing absolutely nothing!

Don't believe me … take a look around you.

There are fat people who have been trying to 'lose weight' for years.

There are ugly people who avoid basic personal hygiene.

There lazy people living in their own filth, because they can't be bothered tidying up.

Are all these people idiots?

The answer is no … they've just learned to think in a demotivated way.

Wait, what?

Let me explain.

Throughout my videos, you've probably noticed the thought cycle that I've been teaching.

Thoughts influence feelings, which influence feelings (or emotions), which influence behaviours.

In the case of motivation – we can add 'attitude' to the bottom.

So thoughts, influence feelings or emotions, which influence attitude, which influences

your behaviour.

Now, someone who isn't motivated to do anything is going through this exact thought process,

and we'll use this guy as an example.

Now this guys is probably thinking that "I want to lose weight and go on a diet", but

he's also feeling that "junk food tastes better than real food".

And because of that, his attitude is like 'ahh, I'll start my diet tomorrow' and

his behaviour is eating all this crap.

People who are lacking in motivation are following this exact thought process.

So have a look at what you're demotivated to do … and see if this sounds familiar.

You'll probably find that it does!

So how do you become motivated then?

If you haven't already guessed, it's all about changing these two … thoughts and

feelings.

And these two have to completely agree with each other, because they are ever conflict

or if they contradict each other, it's usually the feelings and emotions that win through.

And if you're thinking negatively or feeling that you can't be bothered, that's going to

win over your thought process, and if affects the rest of the cycle.

So change these two, make sure that these two agree with each other.

With thoughts and feelings, you'll need to formulate an attitude, which will then change

your behaviours.

I want to lose weight, I'd feel a lot better if didn't eat this stuff.

So I don't want to be putting this crap in my body anymore, so I'm going to not eat

that anymore, and I'm probably going to exercise instead.

This is the general process that you need to go to in order to motivate yourself to

do anything.

You can fool your mind into thinking that you can do absolutely anything … and you

can.

You just got to know how your mind works, before you make it do things that you want

it to.

Great, so I can now be motivated to do anything i want!

Hold on there hotshot, sometimes that's not enough to get you to be motivated to do

stuff.

There's a few other things that might help you forge a mind that is motivated to do anything.

Why do you want to do it?

Find your 'why'.

What's your why?

Why do you want to do it.

Find your why, and motivation becomes a lot easier.

Change your beliefs.

Some people believe that whatever they're trying to achieve is not possible.

Or they think I can't do it, I'm no good at it.

well, if you keep thinking like that you will limit yourself.

So if you come across these thoughts in your head, start changing those beliefs.

Start changing what you believe in.

You're a human being after all, you are allowed to change our mind.

Make life easier for yourself.

It's easier to go on a diet if your house isn't filled with junk food.

It's easier to take care of your appearance if you've got the right products next to you.

If you make it easier to do things, chances are that it'll be less difficult, and you

will actually do them.

Have decent goals and see progress.

If it's not important for you to achieve or if it's too easy, you won't be motivated

to do it.

Aim high, have lofty goals – but make sure that they are achievable.

Nothing is as demotivating as pouring heart and soul and putting in effort and seeing

absolutely no results.

So make sure that you acknowledge your progress and reward yourself for a job well done.

Preferably not with that, especially if you're on a diet.

What Xayah & Rakan Could Have Been - Duration: 8:59.

What's up guys it's me Jeremy!

Just before we start, we have a quick message from our sponsor GGEsports.com.

On their website you play as an analyst predicting the outcome of Esports matches, but it's not

a betting website, you don't use any real money, just their in game currency which you

can get for free, and use to win real prizes like laptops and phones.

So check them out, and make sure to hit the join now button on the tournament page to

get started.

And I'm also doing a challenge with Brofresco and Redmercy, which I will explain more at

the end of the video.

Xayah and Rakan started out as nothing more than a duo bot lane concept - the ADC/support

dynamic in the bot lane has been unwavering for the vast majority of League's existence,

and that opened up the opportunity for Riot to create two champions together.

They would obviously have to be functional alone, but would work better together with

special interactions that would encourage players to pick both together.

Riot started their duo character development with a mini Thunderdome - and event Riot holds

that lets their employees go crazy by forming teams and coming up with their own projects.

This mini Thunderdome was intended to give Riot a chance to test a huge number of different

mechanics for the duo characters all at once, and then they could evaluate what worked and

what didn't.

After seeing the results of the testing, it was time to get started with the traditional

DNA (design, narrative, art) of the champions, working from the ground up.

Since this time it was two champions released together rather than a single one, Riot tackled

it by having a DNA process for each champion, and one mega DNA for both champions.

This meant three people would work on each champion, but all six people would have a

say over the design process for the pair together, to make sure that they had the appropriate

level of synergy for a dual release.

Riot quickly decided to pursue what they call 'chimeric humanoids' as the basis for

their duo champions, essentially being humanlike but with animal traits.

This lead to the creation of The Vastaya, a worldbuilding effort created to tie new

and old champions under a single banner.

Although Chimeran was the initial descriptor for Xayah and Rakan, Riot knew fairly early

on that they wanted to produce some kind of bird people in the Bakemono style, with only

one wing each to represent that they are created to be together.

The next challenge for Riot would be settling on the actual bird species to draw inspiration

from, and this likely started with Rakan.

He's described as being beautiful and always wanting to be the center of attention, making

him line up pretty well with a peacock.

Although we don't know exactly how Xayah's appearance was conceptualized, it's likely

that Riot ended up with something Raven-esque to tie into her more serious and broody nature.

Since these particular Vastayan's would be from Ionia, Riot opted to use the Ionia colors,

but giving Xayah the cooler part of the color wheel and Rakan the warmer.

This meant their appearances made sense from a thematic perspective, whilst also giving

them the individual identity necessary for them to exist in-game alone.

It's typical for Riot to explore a lot of different themes for new champions before

finding the perfect fit, but in the case of Xayah and Rakan, it seems like they had a

good idea of what they wanted before gameplay development even started.

For example, while discovering their appearances and personalities, it was decided that Rakan

would serve better as the support with Xayah is the ADC, simply because Rakan was always

trying to catch your eye, while Xayah wanted to focus on killing you with a thousand cuts.

Of course, it's always cool to add some variety, and it had been a while since Riot

had made a female ADC so it ended up working out.

With everything being relatively clear cut from Riot, it's hard to say what Xayah and

Rakan could have been in terms of art and narrative - but when it comes to gameplay,

there were a few big changes made in the design process.

For example, part of Xayah's dependence on Rakan came at the sacrifice of her own

mobility.

She used to be much more mobile, similar to Lucian, but giving a champion that level of

mobility often reduces the need for a support.

Since Rakan was meant to have a very mobile identity, Riot decided to take Xayah's mobility

away in favor of more kiting ability in the form of her Ultimate and roots.

This made her more dependant on Rakan to survive, whether he's handing out shields, heals

or charming her enemies to peel and give her time to attack.

It also plays off Rakan's ability to get to Xayah from really far away, since Xayah

is more effective when kiting backwards because it sets up her root.

One of the drawbacks to designing champions that are stronger together it making sure

they aren't underpowered when played alone or overpowered when played together, and Riot

almost tipped that balance too far by giving Rakan the ability to drop feathers that Xayah

could recall with her E. Since he's super mobile, it would give some awesome synergy

and allow for some really cool outplays, but Riot EndlessPillows confirmed it had to be

removed because Xayah had way too many feathers already.

Another one of the other very cool potential abilities for Xayah and Rakan was actually

a spell they shared that functioned by charging - likely by holding down the ability button.

Charging the ability would affect the spread of the missiles, so the particle effect would

look like a peacock opening its feathers.

It was probably removed because it wouldn't fit on both of their kits - Rakan is a support

after all.

Big AoE nuke abilities take up a ton of design space, but on paper it sounds like a really

thematically awesome ability that would probably have functioned similarly to Heimerdinger's

Rockets.

If the missiles left feathers at the end of their path, it could have functioned well

with Xayah's Blade Caller too, but for maximum effect it would place her way too close to

an enemy for comfort, since she'd have to be close up to get every feather to hit her

enemy on the way back.

Thanks for

watching the video everybody!

I just wanted to take some time here at the end to talk about a fun little thing I've

been doing lately with our sponsor, GGEsports.com.

Currently I'm competing alongside Redmercy and Brofresco to see who can win the most

on GGEsports.com.

The winner is going to get a bunch of prizes to giveaway to the viewers, so I'm doing my

best for you guys!

I was able to get a big lead during Rift Rivals and have been coasting on my wins from that

ever since, and I'm currently in first place by about 40,000 gold overall.

So I'm doing pretty well, and so now I'm just taking it a bit easy to try and just keep

my lead and make minor earnings here and there.

You can check out the current standings on the GGEsports Facebook Page, which I will

link below in the description.

And if you go like and comment on their post, you can be entered to win $10 worth of gems

on their website which you can redeem for RP or anything you want really.

And big thanks to GGEsports for sponsoring our content!

Solving the Plotholes in Stardust Crusaders | Kaleb I.A. & xForts - Duration: 9:36.

[Kaleb] Part 3 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Stardust

Crusaders.

In the midst of so-so coloring, half-baked villains, and a actual pretty good set of

main characters; you have holes.

Not the holes caused by Justice, Wheel of Fortune, or Vanilla Ice, but the holes caused

by writing.

But the thing with holes, you don't really know how deep it is if you look into it.

So me and xForts are going to be looking into the most known plotholes and explain how there's

some sense.

There's two parts of this video and the other part is going to be on xFort's channel,

so check that out right after.

Now onto these holes.

So a very common question is how did Joseph not die after being drained by DIO.

We also had seen his soul go to the land of jobro's so how exactly did he come back?

Well this is a question commonly asked after watching part 4, because we had seen Josuke's

grandfather die even though he had been restored.

In a part 3 perspective, it makes sense.

Refilling the blood that was taken, and also this is mix of vampire and hamon blood.

Both having regenerative capabilities, and the last thing needed was a restart on his

heart.

This isn't in order of what was needed to revive Joseph, because it's actually reversed

when stating them.

Jotaro had learned how to restart the heart in the fight with DIO, and it was an element

incorporated with Joseph's death in mind.

Jojo also had originally been more realistic when it came to earlier parts, and I know

how the word realistic and Jojo sounds ridiculous when you first approach it, but actually makes

sense when you connect the dots.

For example, there's things that wouldn't be feasible in the world of Part 3, but later

on become very much real when going into later parts.

Now it is to contradict the past parts, or is it just because Araki had forgot how he

had done things previously.

Well Araki states he doesn't have the best of memory really, but for the sake of art

I'll say that he makes it contradict on purpose.

Except when it comes to Joseph Vs. Josuke's grandfather, because that element in Part

4 was really all for the final fight where it had seemed that Okuyasu had died.

To sum it up, Joseph had been revived because of Jotaro learning something he has never

seen or even thought was possible.

Hamon and vampire blood is good for you.

And the reason for it all was connecting points in the plot, and it doesn't make sense in

later parts because in those parts they are meant to contradict the past.

Next one is going to be covered by xForts.

[Julien] Thanks for having me on Kaleb, So there was

always one thing that bothered me about Stardust crusaders ending and It wasn't until reading

part 6 did this plot hole even come to my attention, Where the hell was Pucci during

part 3?

Ok so i know that these videos are all about just part 3 so i will keep this segment as

spoiler free as possible, just that pucci and dio knew each other and that pucci's

stand is whitesnake, a very powerful stand.

So Araki took a bit of a gamble in part 6 and risked retconning pretty much DIO's

entire character and some events from part 3 as it was pretty clear the role DIO played

in part 6 was not even conceptualized during the time of Part 3's creating but In the

end I think araki was successful at bringing dio back into the story and introducing new

lore and motives.

So in 1987 DIO hiding from sunlight in a church in America meets Enrico Pucci and gives him

a arrow head that would later be drawn to him and grant him the stand Whitesnake's,

the ability to to steal memories and stands in the form of disks.

DIO and Pucci became good friends through the few years they new each other and would

often visit each other each other sometimes DIO would come to Pucci in america sometimes

Pucci goes to DIO in egypt, but most importantly they shared the same goal, to achieve heaven.

So with stardust crusaders taking place in 1989 and DIO and Pucci's relationship forming

just a year before in 1988 It would have made sense for Pucci to have been part of DIO's

alliance as a sort of Vanilla ice character but even closer to DIO.

I mean Pucci really would have came in handy too having the ability to steal stands and

all, but to explain the lack of Pucci in part 3, DIO might not have wanted Pucci involved

in this part of his life as DIO and Pucci were taking their lives in a new direction

trying to attain heaven and DIO viewed the Joestar bloodline as nothing but a lingering

piece of the past that would be easily dealt with to tie off that loose end in his life,

and considering how confident DIO was it might not have even crossed his mind to have a friend

involved no matter how powerful their stand may be, or possibly DIO knew deep down that

he was afraid of the Joestars and their prevailing natural and didn't want to risk having anything

happen to Pucci as no matter what happened to DIO Pucci would still be able to carry

out their mission, but the most realistic explanation for why wasn't pucci in part

3, honestly Araki probably hadn't even thought of Pucci as a character yet...

[Kaleb & Julien] Kaleb: So this one is a really puzzling one,

and I'm pretty sure that we're not going to get an answer for this in the future of

Jojo.

It's going to be one of those things that had actually ended up being left for the fans

to figure out and that is how Jotaro and DIO can both stop time.

The World is known for it's ability of stopping time, but how can star platinum stop time?

How are they the same stand?

[Julien] Julien: Some people may say that star platinum

and the world being the same type of stand is an ass pull or deus ex machina, as we come

to learn throughout the series that all stands are unique and this is true, except for when

it's not.

Some of the final stand users the crusaders encounter in the part have the same type of

stand, the D'arby brothers and they are blood relatives.

And since a majority of DIO is Jonathan a blood relative of Jotaro wouldn't it make

sense for it to be possible that they share the same type of stand?

And for the final battle and conclusion to the joestar brando rivalry I thought having

both Jotaro and DIO have the same abilities worked out well and made for an intense and

enjoyable fight considering how evenly matched they were, The final fight going any other

way that Jotaro quite literally invading DIO's world just wouldn't have felt the same.

But i'm sure kaleb has a much better and interesting explanation for star platinum and the worlds

cross over of abilities.

Kaleb: I believe that the reasoning in Star Platinum and The World being the same stand

lays in the tarot cards.

The tarot cards were a huge element of part 3 that had even been the inspiration for writing

characters and how they were developed.

For an example you can refer to my Polnareff video.

But focusing on the Star and the World tarot cards.

The Star symbolizes hope, spirituality, renewal, and inspiration.

The World symbolizes completion, integration, and accomplishment.

The Star reversed symbolizes a lack of faith, despair, and discouragement.

The World reversed symbolizes a lack of completion, and lack of closure.

Individually you can see how the symbolizations can reflect on a character's attributes,

and how some were the downfall of a character.

You have DIO who had seemed a lot stronger due to him believing to be full and complete,

but that actually wasn't the case at all and ended up being the death of him.

Then there's Jotaro who was always angry and confident, but started to lose when he

didn't believe in himself as much.

So taking that into account, can we get a meaning if we put the star and the world together?

Yes, we can.

Reason why is because he goes from Star Platinum, to Star Platinum: The World.

So when you put the two together, you get a large boost of inspiration.

"No limits in your future, luck, fate, and you get all you ever wanted."

Which taking this into account means that Star Platinum turning into Star Platinum:

The World was a device of fate for Jotaro.

We know that DIO is always fated to lose, even if it does take a long time.

If I was to put perspective on it, first picture DIO.

He's just in awe like "Star Platinum and The World are the same stand??

Why?!?"

Then both Jotaro and Araki are drawn in and point at DIO and just say, cause screw you

that's why.

I can't vouch for the fate in Jojo always, but it helps clean up a lot of messes inside

of it.

Except when you get to Eyes of Heaven because that's something you want to be deeper than

what it actually is, but it just isn't.

Some stuff in Jojo can't be answered with, "It's just like that cause", but this

is one of things that can be.

Except it's not just because, it's just a Deus Ex Machina that we will forever have

embedded.

Which we can't write off because it's a thing

that very much exists so it's just more on accepting it.

And they were card kind there was a lot of people on the road like a lot of fans are just standing

But like really busy, so we just checked her like

Distracted on the Road, and then we pulled up to his house

Everywhere like right across the street everywhere

Just talking right here and there were other cars

So we just stopped in and be easier for them to go through

so we just stopped and he was like trying to go this other car passing by and

He was like check it out without a car. I

Looked up into the Balcony asshole

Poking in Jake Paul the world the walk was like at least this big. I mean, I know was a rocking

it was like something heavy was like money has got up on Tommy to ride away everywhere like

We're going I guess all of them. Oh

The whole Scream everyone was chanting Jay Paul's like Tommy sorry and he's like Lincoln Bible think about you

Just kept saying that he thought it was funny. I know

I'm really waiting to play how long the only reason. He said sorry was color.look

He had a lot of fans around his house

And they were all recording select he knew he was going to get exposed

And he didn't even care like the way the way. He said he was like sorry

He started laughing they were talking about to emerge like a link in the bio ranaghat. He was like

He was like come here, so we parked the car

And then we went in like to the door and he was like sorry guys

So he gave us like an insurance card, and he gave us a number say we'll go fix it for us well

Yeah for me. He had to kind of his own. I like to step through the rock

But then like we call the insurance and recalls called his insurance, and they said doctor will exalt the problem

And I was basically hit yeah, I was like whatever like two days ago fine afternoon

I'm a fixer. Let me take oh yeah. I started july 20th, so they'll talk

Without everything and I thought Friday is when we can we got our window fixed at the dealership, okay?

So basically absolutely like we're walking out of this house

It was like - um you know it's kind of your fault be thinking about it. I

Know you don't blame it on us. I don't it was like we don't want fans to come by our house

We're not the ones who are like

screaming and very disgusted by to see how many people actually like we're standing out there and

Just to check out the house because everyone's always there and then he was being rude about it vaughn condor was all our fault

As we were supposed to be there or whatever I guess it's somehow private property like I want to be doing that through the walk

So basically we got our window fixed. We'll show you a picture of how it looked before and broke before napster picture

Is Drake Going to Sign Tone Stith to OVO? - Duration: 2:22.

What up guys, Summer Man here.

Drake is known for keeping a finely tuned ear to everything happening in music, especially

when it comes to budding talent.

When Drake starts showing interest, sometimes that means a remix is coming, like when he

hopped on Ramriddlz's "Sweeterman."

Sometimes he just wants to flex for the Gram, like that time he played an up-and-coming

Kodak Black's "Skrt" on the PJ with his boys.

But in some, very special cases, it could herald the next OVO Sound signing.

So, which of the three are in the cards for 22 year-old singer Tone Stith?

Drake is still posted up in his beloved H-Town following last week's annual Houston Appreciation

Weekend, and he was recently spotted pulling up to Tone's tour rehearsal.

The South Jersey singer is scheduled to hit the road with August Alsina this fall, and

in this clip from the rehearsal session, Drake appears to be breaking Tone off with some

counsel.

So why would Drake show up to a rising singer's rehearsals in the first place?

Well, Tone is signed to Jas Prince, Drake's longtime homie who was instrumental in bringing

Drizzy to Cash Money.

So was Drake just imparting some wise, free advice to his homie's artist?

Or will their shared Jas connection lead to more?

At the very least, it's possible Drake might make himself available for a collab.

Or, since Jas is already family, we might see Drizzy take things a step further and

fully bring Tone into the fold.

Think about it: OVO Sound really only trafficks in singers as of now, especially those whose

style might come to benefit future Drake solo projects.

Perusing Tone's recent album, Can We Talk, you can easily imagine him fitting in right

alongside the Party, DVSN, and Roy Woods.

His music is right up OVO's alley: lots of lust and longing, with melodies and beats

perfectly suited for a late night drive, much like their most recent signee, Plaza.

Drake's moves are hard to predict with certainty, but all we're saying is, don't be surprised

if you start hearing a lot of Tone Stith on OVO Sound Radio, if they haven't played

him already.

The Boy's ear is always one step ahead.

That's the news for now but for more on Drake and OVO, subscribe to Complex News on

YT.

WILD ALASKA LIVE | Bear Claws | PBS - Duration: 2:24.

- So, last time we talked about bear skulls and teeth.

But that's not the only difference between

the black bears we have here and the brown bears

that Liz has at Katmai National Park.

- Yes, and we're back with comparative anatomist

Dr. Joy Reidenberg.

So, what have you got for us today, Joy?

- Well, you know how I love show-and-tells?

One for each of you.

These are bear claws.

Do you know which ones you have?

- Brown bear for sure, from the south.

- Black bear over here, yes. - Absolutely.

These are like having fishing hooks at the end

of a paw, to catch fish with.

- Yeah, and they are sharp.

- They are.

- They're definitely - Very, very curved.

- Sharp and sturdy.

- Absolutely. So you can see how they can

hook right into a fish and pull it out of the water

very easily.

Especially when you've got five on each paw.

- And the black bear can pin the fish down

and kind of pull it apart a little,

working it with it's mouth and using the claws together

like tools.

- Absolutely, so it stabilizes it there

while it can rip the skin off using its teeth.

- And the brown bear, these...

There's no fish getting away from these

if they have a good grip, right?

- Doesn't this remind you of a fisherman's gaff hook?

That you can just gaff that fish,

and pull it right outta the water.

- Absolutely.

- That is impressive.

- And the brown bears, they value their claws.

They use 'em for a lot of different things.

Fishing is one of 'em.

I mean, claws, though.

They aren't just for grabbing fish, you know.

The black bears also use their claws for climbing.

And they're pretty good at it, too.

- Oh, yeah.

- [Martin] Look at this cub go!

And cubs are the ones that have to climb a lot

to get away from bigger bears,

maybe dangerous bears like males.

So this guy's doing pretty well here.

- [Chris] Yeah, because he can get way up there,

on a really thin limb that other bears or other predators

wouldn't go because they'd break it, right.

- Absolutely. And the claw that they're using

is just perfect for that because it's short

and therefore sturdier.

So they can really grab into the wood,

and pull 'emselves up the bark.

Whereas if a brown bear tried to do it,

that claw might actually break with the weight

of such a large bear.

- Right, or the tree could break.

- Imagine fingers with...

Well, that's true, too!

But imagine a human with really long fingernails

and how fragile that can be.

- Oh, and in the box, we have a brown bear swimming.

Now they don't use their claws for this,

but they definitely use those big paws.

- Oh yeah.

They can break into the bark.

They can get into trees also and pull out things.

- [Chris] These bear claws are awesome.

Thanks for sharing them with us, Joy.

Dress Up Time - BookTubeAThon 2017 Challenge 4 [CC] - Duration: 3:06.

Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy.

And today I'm doing the Dress Up Time Challenge, which is the 4th video challenge for this

year's BookTubeAThon.

Also, I feel like through these videos, you're getting to see basically every inch of my

tiny, little apartment.

Instead of doing one costume, I've decided today I will show you three of the costumes

that I have put together over the years.

And I feel like there's a chance that some of these things will be contested because

two out of three of these things did not originate in books, but the books came later.

In fact, all three of these characters are in comic books.

And that's kind of why I wanted to do this challenge, because, let's face it, some people

look down on graphic novels and say that they're not books, when clearly they are.

Graphic novels just happen to have a little bit more imagination in the visual aspect

of things, which is why you can go from being just a plain girl talking in her apartment

to a girl that's dressed as one half of the Wonder Twins.

This isn't one of the official costumes, but I still had this lying around, and figured

I'd use it.

Now the first of these costumes clearly started out in the books first.

This is my Wonder Woman costume.

I don't exactly have the right hair for her, but I figured it fun just to toss on this

very messy wig.

Also, when I make my own costumes, I like to make them very comfy because if I'm going

to be wearing them at cons or that type of things, I need to be comfortable.

This next look I put together because I was volunteering for a long-form improv that happened

to take place in space, so I figured this was a perfect costume for it.

And when I first put it on, one of the cast members looked at me and went, "I've made

out with that guy."

And I went, "yes, I know, you've worked with Nathan Fillion before.

I'm jealous."

Anyway, clearly this one started as a tv show, got it's own movie, and there are definitely

comics in the Firefly universe.

This costume also works much better now that I don't have long hair.

Even got boots.

I don't wear boots.

And my roommate came through and tripped on the tripod so the set up might be a little

bit different.

This character definitely started out as a web tv series character, and then comic books,

but I absolutely love this costume.

I'm going to say it right here - I did not make this.

I did buy this quite a few years ago, and I tend to pull it out any time there's an

event I have to go to and I've forgotten that I don't have a costume.

Because I love wearing costumes, but I always forget to, you know, actually procure a costume.

[sings] Do you wanna date my avatar?

She's a star.

Anyway, this is the Codex avatar from The Guild.

And there you have it.

There are three costumes, with a sneaky 4th at the beginning there, all from comic books,

who happen to also be from other mediums.

I mean, to be fair, everyone who cosplays as Harry Potter is definitely taking influence

from the movies, so I feel justified.

Come to think of it, other cosplays I've done in the past have been from comic book characters.

But mostly because they are super easy and super casual.

I once did Jessica Jones, and I once did Sky/Daisy from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. because you just

wear certain colours, and put on some lipstick, and you're good to go.

I'm real down with casual cosplay... she says, while completely dressed up.

Whatever.

Anyway, bye!

trans boy on the trans military ban - Duration: 6:32.

I made tea specifically for this video but I'm actually really excited about it

because it's like a chocolate vanilla herb tea, so that's what I'm drinking

today. hi, I'm Ashton. so transgender people are

no longer allowed to to be in the military. it was something that was implemented only

last year that they could serve in the military but a certain cheeto in chief

has reversed that, so it's time to talk about it. personally for me I don't

really give a shit because I don't want to join the military but that doesn't

fucking matter because because this is not a political issue, this is a human

rights issue. transgender people if they want to are perfectly capable of joining

the military. in fact with how nationalistic and

militaristic the United States is, I'm surprised they don't want as many

people to go to the military as possible, including trans people, but regardless as

I said this is not a political issue. this can't be backed up by any party's

planks or with any economic argument. trans people deserve the same rights as

everyone else, and that's not a debate, that's just a basic human right. the

thing is that our rights should not be up for debate, this isn't a conversation

we should be having. there are so many good things we can talk about when it

comes to being trans, and "should trans people be able to live normal lives?" is

not one of them. but for the sake of discussion, let's pretend that this is

something that is actually reasonable to debate about. if for whatever reason you don't

want to give trans people their basic rights everyone else has, this perspective

still doesn't make sense. and by the way, as always, all of my sources will be in

the description. let's go with the economic argument first, this is one of

the excuses cheeto in chief used, that money spent on transgender troops is

money wasted. let's look at that from a statistical monetary perspective.

according to the RAND Corporation, up to five thousand five hundred transgender

troops are currently deployed, and about 1500 are in reserve. so that's not a lot

to begin with, but let's remember that not every trans person opts for hormones

or surgery. it's estimated by RAND that 8.4 million dollars is spent on

medical care for transgender military members, but other sources

estimate that it's even less than that, at 5.6 million. That may sound like a lot,

but let's compare. according to the 2015 military budget and the Department of

Defense, an Apache helicopter costs 31 million dollars, and an m1 tank costs

16.3 million dollars, so it's not money that military is lacking.

it's estimated by RAND that 0.01 of the military health care budget is spent on

trans people at maximum. that's nothing. the healthcare budget for the military

is 47.8 billion dollars a year. 5-8 million out of a

nearly fifty billion? that's absolutely nothing. not to mention the other thing that

this health care budget is used for. according to the Department of Defense,

81 million dollars in one year are spent on treating erectile dysfunction. that's

over ten times the amount spent on trans troops, yet the thing that the government

doesn't want to pay for is the trans people. you know what that tells

transgender people? that tells us that the government cares more about flaccid

dicks than it does about the mental and physical health of transgender people.

also, the justification was according to Hartzler, each dollar needs to be spent

to address threats facing our nation. I'm genuinely confused as to how flaccid,

older-man penis is a threat to the nation's safety, but...

the government uses 3.6 million dollars every time that Trump takes a trip to

Mar-a-Lago. he has taken 40 confirmed trips to golf courses so far. By the time

this video goes up it might be 41! It's estimated that almost 50 million

dollars so far have been spent on Trump's golfing trips. that's enough to

pay for all the costs of the entire transgender population of the military - 20

times over. If Trump gave up one or two golfing trips, a huge sacrifice I'm sure,

every transition of every transgender military personnel could be accomplished,

could be completely paid for. but that's not my business.

another argument that many people have is that transgender people have a high

rate of suicide, which is true. and this is the first actual legitimate argument

I've heard that actually seems to maybe care about trans people, but let's talk

about this. the high suicide rate is not caused by being trans, it's caused by the

society around us that tells us that it's wrong. there are extremely good

studies done by the US National Library of Medicine that prove that the

discrimination towards trans people is not only a huge factor into the suicide

rate, but also the rate of addiction and why so many of us do sex work. that will

be linked in the description as well, and I would seriously recommend reading that.

anyways, two thirds of trans people report being bullied one in 12 are murdered,

a quarter of trans people have been physically assaulted. if

you lived in a world where violence against you is so commonplace, you'd be

suicidal too. banning trans people from the military just adds to the stigma

around us, and it certainly doesn't help. if anything, it adds to the discrimination. if

we're trying to fix the trans suicide rate, we need to be fixing society, not

"fixing" trans people. I completely understand that suicidal

people probably shouldn't be deployed, but that's a separate issue. not every

trans person is suicidal, in fact, suicide rates of trans people drastically drop

when they're treated like other fucking human beings, so you know maybe letting

us do what everyone else can do would kind of help the suicide rate....

I genuinely haven't heard one reasonable argument for banning trans people from

the military. it all burns down to transphobia.

it always comes back to transphobia, always. again we need to remember that

trans people aren't a hot topic, we aren't something that needs to be

debated about, our genders, our validity, we as people are not up for debate. this

shouldn't have to be a discussion in the first place, this isn't political, this

doesn't have to do with economics, this is at its core basic human rights. all that

being said, goodbye, I hope you have a fantastic day, and I'll talk to you later

maybe. I'm seriously enjoying this tea, go get vanilla chocolate herbal tea

anyway

bye!

BREAKING: FBI Discovers Massive Dem Corruption Scandal, Top Dems Indicted | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:35.

The Democrats' massive network of pay-to-play scandals is starting to collapse as the FBI

starts making high-profile arrests.

Two Democrat mayors from Pennsylvania were indicted Wednesday during a massive FBI probe

into the latest Democrat pay-to-play scandal, Fox News reported.

Allenton Mayor Ed Pawlowski was charged with 14 counts related to the pay-to-play scheme

in addition to more than 40 other counts, including fraud, extortion, bribery, and misleading

an FBI agent.

Former Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer was also charged with multiple counts of bribery, conspiracy,

and fraud in along with three other public officials.

The two mayors, "essentially put up a 'for sale' sign in front of their city halls

to sell city work to the highest bidder," explained Louis Lappen, the US Attorney for

Eastern Pennsylvania.

In one of the pay-to-play scams, Mayor Pawlowski directed city officials to award a contract

collecting delinquent city taxes to a company providing "a steady stream of benefits"

to the mayor.

The company was awarded the contract in 2013.

In exchange, Mayor Pawlowski received campaign donations from the company, as well as Philadelphia

Eagles tickets.

According to the indictment, Mayor Pawlowski was given playoff tickets and a dinner at

an expensive steakhouse from the company he helped win the city contract.

Mayor Spencer, on the other hand, has been accused of more than merely accepting gifts

in exchange for favorable city contracts.

In addition to rewarding beneficial contracts, Spencer is accused of changing the law to

support a company who donated to his wife's judgeship campaign.

Ironically, Spencer requested the president of the Reading City Council to introduce legislation

repealing an anti-corruption law.

The Reading mayor attempted to amend the Code of Ethics, allowing him to enrich himself

further.

The reality of corrupt liberal mayors isn't surprising given the massive corruption in

Democrat leadership.

The Leftist's party has been implicated in major pay-to-play and corruption scandals

across decades.

If Democrat presidential candidates can get away with accepting millions in "donations"

from companies while awarding favorable contracts, then why can't lowly mayors?

Hillary Clinton and others have lowered the bar for corrupt Democrats.

Why do you think the Democrats are so prone to corruption?
