so we're in yellotools and your name Robin yeah Robin the inventor of the
Betty squeegee pro rapidly working for the hotels
teaming up because whenever they felt all people need training when I do
trainings people need tools so this is the reason why we teamed up again
psychometry definitely of you know all the shit I'm saying I actually believe
it okay so we're going to show us right now
you the you to put no multiple purposes of that screen she's not just squeezing
your much more to it now being a teacher and doing classes I found out
that many of the many people and very often people have a hard time orienting
holding the squeegee in the right way okay
so there's something called the 30-degree angle technique have you heard
about that explain so according to this line which
is the separation of the part of the film that has been applied in actually
speaking and some so hard with proportions
still to be applied there is the line all around my be an airship and you'll
see whatever think the most fantastic sakes the important thing is to always
hold your squeezy in a vertical fashion I'm going to do a mistake just to show
what happens if you don't hold it right it see if you squeegee from the outside
to the inside to create the cream the only way to get rid of that is to hold
the squeegee in a certain fashion and that will spread the tension okay really
you have that is right right there the angle of this now explain with that
exactly so this is why we started molding
first of all lines with arrows because those will tell you how to orient the
squeegee now here's the line that I drew obviously you don't have to do that on
your vinyl that you use but if you align the line on the squeegee with that line
that you have while working and deploying your film on the bodywork you
will automatically let me make that visible once more an orientation of 30
degrees approximately yes but not only does that help you orient the squeegee
in the right way but it also shows you follow the arrow the direction to work
in because I've seen people work one direction correctly but the other they
were dragging the squeegee and then complaining that they were doing
mistakes that's what I call a hidden movement right
we are not secret agent we don't have to be hidden so first of all as I said 30
degrees than the direction you want to work in the other direction but you have
to twist the squeegee Thorian running out of the barrier shade your farm works
with the arrow so that's the basic idea of those lines and arrows across but now
coming back to this imagine you don't have to imagine any longer because it
has become reality you know what happens if I approach therefore no matter how I
twist this let me show it this way or you see I will always have an
orientation no matter how I turn and twist is squeegee of approximately 30
degrees so my attacking angle that's the way I'd like to call it I would always
be thirty degree as no risk having treatment the only difference in
using this squeegee will be normally flat surface and straight edge if you
apply a bit of pressure to this you will have a full contact not twisting it like
this with this if you approach it you will not have a big contact between your
sweetie edge and the dirt so this is why you need to put some pressure on it ok
so that is the main difference you need to put some pressure on that to make it
work so in fact I am shifting my pressure like this working to the left I
put more pressure on the left side of the squeegee working to the right I put
more pressure on the right and then in fact I just go more or less straight now
look what happens I'm coming into an angle so I just either do this or I
could just push it and all were like yeah like that that's like man easy
peasy lemon squeezy this is why it shows up yellow vinyl it is not exactly lemon
yellow but anyhow see and now with the bitten
creases build up look still I'm not doing anything but just lying thirty
degrees and the creases disappear honestly this will not go endlessly but
at a certain stage of obviously you need to pick the heat gun and feed for
instance this that's a busy as well guy right there very cool and all the
squeegees come with that soap or that fabric or areas as it is the costume of
yellow tools you get to pick your own shape of squeegee
okay then the shore and then the edge protection so you can mix them all up
the way you like so in fact though we started off with the polyester blue one
to the polyester the whatever the best one here is the talent area there's many
many more you will have to try out for yourself in order to take the right edge
protection according to the film that is using this Princeton's honestly this
polyester doesn't slide so well on blocking film it's really yeah try it
out okay I didn't feel the movement to be has not
at night so for the glass for the grotto to use Stefan not for this for the poor
a big service because your mind scratch it scratch it yet white on the top among
fresh but any dust Ranger gets lift on there so what to use there is this wait
a minute come on you got it it got you on the spot my homework oh so there it
is well there are many many more difficult
oh wow oh geez oh okay is some sort of but you see it doesn't quite figure will
ya figure out how to do this and we started with the yellow wings the yellow
wings being wider stripes that are being cut right in order to get rid of the
decreasing material right here so wherever you see a crease this is where
we have a cut in this wide stripe so and so to have it end up in a nine or a
Sandhya yeah so this is some kind of artificial leather or have you call that
isn't like a no yeah like like straw leather of the creativeness this is
what's known as in velvet so it goes okay
this will he reinforces itself would you use this on for material this one on on
the mat films it works quite well otherwise it's not my preference okay
that's fine the velvet velvet works very well on
glossy and matte this doesn't leave no scratches but the edge wears out quite
quite easy out there this is felt but quite the tough felt
heartfelt okay that I don't like too much but then again the scratches that
sell leave sometimes do fade away by applying
yes sir so the film sells heels incur a certain event that is microfiber also
works quite well formats lossy not to go I don't like that much okay
that again is the Teflon and this is the one that I think will be the future for
that squeegee because they can use it wet application method as well we're
talking wet water on the circles are not underneath yeah oh yeah yeah yeah yeah
because the problem of all these is no matter which you pick in the double
sided tape that makes the bond between your fabric and the squeegee is not
motivated and they will they will start to loosen up and you know your thing
goes sour and sullen and doesn't speak anymore so so this is the one that has a
waterproof adhesive and some sort of foam behind it that will keep water of
it okay for the wet application once again on the film this is the idea what
they call so this is the yellow wet the okay yellow wedding on edge protection
okay Tech so see that is begins of the blue one that is some sort of touching
that's not not that the story about it again yeah but as you can see just apply
them alive it doesn't pick and we have some sort of belt rose
I see yet so it's still experimental this one as you can see sticks quite
well but my favorite was little wider stripe to put on I think this is after a
centimeter you tell me that the third of an inch yes an idea yeah and that was
one fourth of an inch so that is a bit too narrow yeah sometimes
and I think this edge is lifting you can see there yeah so this is why I had it
wider and this works quite well but there comes in kit so you can remove
that but new one in fact you can buy that's what I said you can buy any edge
protection and if you buy it in squares you can adapt it the way you like if you
can cut it in one said to be destroyed for one and a half or two whatever you
want you can have it long for that edge short for this one yeah so this is why
sometimes not buying the pre-shaped yellow wings helps because you can
custom tune them the way you like yes there is still square yeah these are the
pre shake ones they belong to a certain shape of squeegee
that's the Victoria that that was just a 30 degree 30 degree
okay squeegee there there is there there's more okay so what does I hope
mine I don't I will have another barely right oh yes there you you soul on
camera gotcha don't take that off hoping that
everyone that's how hard final stick to and badly painted car oh is the idea
second vetting yeah you can see Donnie back door while you need to very much
and thoroughly clean your car because you're decent is contaminating that
person forget it
rizal jam yeah your wells are you calling a third rendered area although
sometimes very people-oriented because if you imagine from the side a shade
first following the we wash and then going back up and in 3d the seeing the
point is yeah more yeah that is very complicated
yeah take the round edging home from the top no but I would have to do this or I
just follow the shape I'm not even bothering and with with each stroke I go
in a bit people and the creams is go naturally because we will always have
the attacking edge oriented 30 degrees and you're free to go see that even here
and now imagine having one angle after the other right this comes in very very
handsome and last but not least if you work towards a detail and very often a
cut along side and we have here another feeling the old technique was to do it
this way right and maybe the last movement doing
something like this like this doesn't happen now but it happened to me and I'm
doing car wraps for 21 years and it does happen to you that almost
the last movement that you do on the door you light or slice the vinyl yeah
yeah then rip it all out and do it all over again why because you have a
sliding movement that is friction right if you have the point it has to hold up
you will slide the film on with the round edge you just guided in this
doesn't think as good anymore but that is a rolling movement just like a wheel
there's no sliding anymore therefore no risk of cutting
see what I mean yeah I understand yeah what you should not have on is this sort
of edge protection because it makes the edge a lot thicker is the everything a
Ryan see how narrow this is and this will bring the vitals
a lot deeper into this angle so the only edge protection that I would have for
this technique of using the Vettii squeegee is a TEFL but not any fabric
because that makes it too thick and you cannot reach it for in your time having
a detail to do on a curved edge that would automatically do relief cuts in
order to be able to guys of oil and heat up and whole different ballgame right
and there there's another term another release come look what happens now the
vinyl follows the law once again a rolling movement instead of a cutting
and carrying carries flying all in one - there were two of our again program
fatty and I always make a joke saying my name is on there and the first time I
correct out jokes someone said Oh Becky so no lower one
sabapathy I'm not because better than for sure
girl Coco thank you for the demonstration and then you have the
stick I have a body drop stick they're awesome and basically they're meant for
detail works for us is to slide final underneath the to plan our native
Phoenix we did the preparation work right here
very carefully set the rubber yes now there is - I chose the Sloane wrap twin
stick right and the hope I have to check wrap flex be another one with my name on
it and this one would help you to slide underneath a rubber ceiling lift it oh
and then slide the film behind it oh that's great oh wow and if you if you
get a good setting let's say I could do that in one movement there goes yeah
obviously this is a very old car out and the rubber sealing is not as tight
anymore but I have done that on cars and you have to check if the ceiling is a
hard one a tough one or a very soft body obviously the softer the ceiling is that
easy you slide the film under tight so the difference between this one and
something similar that we have here this one is the Carson Carson wrap twin stick
you can see that on that side this one is sharp this one is not out but yeah so
with this one you could slide underneath any rubber sealing as tight as it might
be with the bodywork of the cop all right this one if they're not as tight
this one will work and this one is a bit more heavy-duty and this one now the
chopper and edges either it gets damaged right right right but still it has a
purpose on the other side of that twin-stick you have similar tips but
this one is like a sphere being sharp all around and curvy you are this one on
one side is flat and curvy on the other so you choose whatever to be better yes
what I got very nice then they have that is to grab
final around an edge so show you this this hook formed round an edge like this
and wraps minor behind it this tip could be to wrap vinyl in here and it slowly
the vinyl in an area where my finger doesn't quite reach right and I do have
tiny fingers and then you have something that I was told is very popular in
America which is called the hang loose okay
but with a handle now the handlers used to be just this sort of mini squeezy
but without a handle and I never used it because it was like two tiny d'italia
didn't really see the use of that that with the handle now really cool because
the imagine like a back hatch at the intersection of your hatch on the top
and the roof before there is a very narrow
age of facial ease - okay it's very difficult to notice and apply vinyl
underneath if you use all the gas that there is to flip it around now with this
you can reach underneath about this tool now and you can hold it much better I
mean you're a bit better yeah well thank you here for the demonstration oh yeah
definitely there is the full collection oh there it
is yeah so you can choose each and every twin no sorry wrap stick as you like in
terms of the shape and the stiffness now all the different colours are in fact
different shows right quick explanation is the greening is the softest one only
comes for the wrap stick Betty because that needs to be a bit flexible after
that you have the golden that is a bit softer than the green then the orange
then the turquoise one and the toughest of them all or the hardest is the
transparent one called peekaboo because you can peek through see where they
expect that job is not the colors are cold yeah yeah yeah - yep and that goes
for everything so not just in the family of the twins there's a rat stick sorry
but also the squeegee so the green here or the - quad here would be the same
stiffness as a turquoise which you can almost recognize the stiffness
of queasy or whatever tool by the compass you can tell from the video real
quick yes sir Aeneas and if you cannot make up
your mind there's the whole set it's all on the website too
yep actually yeah us I you know we got this up okay name again what's your name
closing bell rap teacher you can call me dog stickers as well thank you again
six-five
