The work is focused on results. You do something and immediatly see what you have done.
If you only plan, you just have some lines on a paper, but here, you do something and immediatly see a result. I love that!
This is supposed to become Bündner sandstone.
I have already had a picture in my mind, but after beeing painted, it looks much different than just the plaster.
Plastering is like playing to me. Playing, like children do. Becoming dirty and just see what is going to happen.
You need to be aware of your surrounding and love details. You need to see things and realize how they are structured.
With a sponge, you can create softer shapes.
You need to be open to criticism. Sometimes, people come and tell you that something looks too exaggerated..
And then you just do it.
I take one step back, take a look at it and say that I do not like it or that it is exaggerated.
When I add the plaster, there is already some kind of mass on my spatula.
I put it on and some kind of basic shape is created.
Then I push it for a few times and something is pushed to the outside and I know: "This is going to be a ledge in the rock."
I like that better.
Now we need to wait some time.
I always try to be honest with myself and go my own way.
I always wanted to do something with art.
Then I realized that this is maybe not the perfect way for me and earning money is also difficult with that.
But I kept a lot from that, my creativity and my power of imagination.
When you need to paint a still life, you look at it for hours, too. And each time you will find a new and even smaller detail.
That is where this creativity, these artistic abilities come from.
I have always painted and handicrafted a lot. There were also huge playmobile landscapes in my room.
Then I wanted mountains with snow and we used some fitted sheets.
It is already quite warm and reacts well.
I am very chaotic. My workspace is always dirty and those of my colleagues are always tidy.
But that is just me and I am happy and confident with that.

It has been two weeks since I have plastered this.
I have already added deep solvent primer to the surface.
I am proud, eventhough it decreased a little, in the beginning I was even prouder.
In the morning, I arrived in Italy, took a look at the walls that I made and thought: "Amazing!"
When you see it daily, it is not that cool anymore.
Where do I have my other brushes?
I go to work because I get money for it. If I would not have to earn money, I probably would not go working. I would work in the garden or something like that.
But of course it is also fun.
I can develop my creativity, for example at plastering.
I can always add a little joke. I could think of adding a funny face to a rock and tell nobody.
And then someone will see it and be surprised.
I will put some bushes in front of this so it will harmonize better.
