but it turned out to be actually great

BREAKING: Trump Just Announced His "Secret Weapon" to Stop Antifa | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:28.
The terrorist group Antifa started off small, and barely a threat to even the smallest group
of protesters.
However, as time has passed, their numbers have grown, and their threat is more real
than once imagined.
President Trump is looking to counter the danger posed by Antifa.
According to MSN, the Trump administration is working toward returning all military surplus
to law enforcement departments so that they are better equipped against the members of
Antifa, who wants to terrorize the general population.
In the past, many of these items were prohibited from law enforcement use.
Documents from the Associated Press show that the President has an Executive Order in the
works that would undo the restrictions placed by former President Obama on surplus military
gear.
Some of the items included on this "restriction list" include grenade launchers, bulletproof
vests, riot shields, better firearms, and more.
All gear and equipment that would otherwise get scrapped will be sent to the local and
state police to help enforce the law and keep these increasingly violent protesters at bay.
The change is much needed.
When Antifa sees police officers in bulletproof vests and assault rifles, they're likely
to back down.
It is expected that Attorney General Jeff Sessions will outline the Executive Order
early this week so that the police can get a glimpse into the plan and equipment allocations.
Timelines for the equipment deliveries would likely also be given at this time.
Both Sessions and Trump have noted that by providing federal support to the local police,
violent crime can be reduced in high crime areas.
The goal is to make America safer, and this is a turn in the right direction.
Police departments around the country have been watching with eager eyes since Trump's
inauguration.
He promised to ensure that law enforcement is supplied with better gear and equipment
to keep law enforcement and law-abiding citizens safe.
There have been instances in the past of military equipment aiding situations across the country
that could have been far more deadly without the equipment.
For example, an armored vehicle helped police stop the 2015 shootings in San Bernardino,
CA.
Coincidently, 2015 was the same year that Obama enacted the restrictions on allocating
military equipment to police stations.
It was initially put into place when law enforcement used tear gas and armored vehicles during
the Ferguson riots following the death of Michael Brown.
However, Ferguson was in shambles, and it had nothing to do with police at the time.
Rioters had taken control of parts of the city, and private property was destroyed at
an alarming rate.
People were not happy about the use of military equipment.
So, of course, Obama appeased the rioters and signed the Executive Order halting police
departments' access to surplus military equipment.
Since his decision two years ago, there have been more riots than ever before, and the
violence is only getting worse.
Military equipment is not something that the police will use on a daily basis.
However, it is something they need to have available when situations get out of hand
and become a threat to public safety.
If the goal is to make the country safe again, then law enforcement will need to be geared
up to do their job.

Ok so before I do my update that I'm doing for this one, I'm gonna insert clips from

So todays update I didn't go to school today 'cause my stomach hurt really bad and then I felt a little bit
better and then I had breakfast and then I thew up, so that happened.
And then I felt a little bit better and then I had dinner and I was like "Ok I think I'm
doing good" and then I had a bunch of cookies and I was like "Okay" and then like two hours
later I was like "Okay.
I am not ok. My GI system feels like crap and I think I'm gonna puke."
And then I remembered I have to do my homework...so...homework.
I got a piece of gum tying to stave off the nausea but it's not doing much I'm trying
to get a bunch of Gatorade in right now because I didn't really get much throughout the day.
Yup.
So, that's me.
I'm working on my homework.
Oh what time is it?
It's 8:30.
And I hope I can go to school tomorrow cause this is getting really freaking annoying.

Augcollab Wrap Up - Duration: 4:25.
Hello! I'm Rogan and welcome. I've decided to go ahead and wrap up Augcollab because of... Several reasons
First, I want to say thank you to all of the people who made a video or contacted me about making a video.
I apologize if you did contact and I didn't reply or I didn't follow-up.
If I didn't reply, go ahead and contact me again.
One of the reasons why I wanted to wrap up Augcollab is because it's soon the end of August.
And... I miss making videos semi-regularly. So.
I still want to do collabs throughout the year, not only during August.
Those people who already contacted me, and I've talked with about what we'd do for a collab--
I've contacted them and let them know that I'm going ahead and putting it on hold,
postponing until it works better for both of us.
So I will do collabs still, but not necessarily during August.
Lesson learned: next time I want to do something like this, plan way in advance.
Don't wait until a month before to reach out. Waaaaay before.
But! Putting that aside, thanks to everyone who watched and commented on the videos this month.
I'm excited for some of the collabs that I've talked about, they will come eventually.
Next month is Deaf Awareness Month, so I will be doing videos about deaf topics.
I most likely will also be doing regular videos.
For this month, I do have a list of topics already.
I have enough but if there is a topic that you really, really want to see me discuss, comment below.
And I will think about it, or maybe it will already be something I want to talk about, so that might be a fit.
I don't know.
What I have in my head is...roughly twice a week.
One video about regular stuff, whatever. The second video about deaf awareness.
Those videos will be labeled as deaf awareness.
Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen.
One more thing!
I'm sure some of you have already seen this because this surprisingly blew up in the deaf community.
And several of my friends tagged me, contacted me, and said they saw this video.

About a month ago, I went to Seattle to do a video interview with Cut.
They're kind of like Buzzfeed but much better quality. And they don't do news or such.
It's more of story kind of thing. And they wanted to do a series that's called "Deaf People Teach."
I went and did an interview for that. And when they posted the first video, my reaction was OF COURSE.
Their first video was about curse words. Surprise! Not.
So. If you want to see Deaf people teach you curse words, video below.
BUT! Understand that if you come up to me in person, or contact me online, or whatever.
And ask me to teach you more curse words, not happening.
Because... I did mention it in the interview, but it wasn't included in the final cut.

The History Of Digital Currencies - Part 2 - Duration: 5:39.
Hey guys and girls!
Welcome back to the history of digital currency mini-series, this is Part 2.
Just a recap into last weeks episode, we learned about David Chaum, a computer scientist and
cryptographer who introduced the idea of digital currency in a research paper he wrote in 1983
which I've added a link to it in the description below if you're interested.
Then he went onto found DigiCash in Amsterdam.
However, that filed for bankruptcy in 1998 the reason for he says was because e-commerce
hadn't been fully integrated into the internet yet.
We then went onto talking about E-Gold, which is a digital currency backed by real gold
to secure its monetary value.
However, that was shut down by the United States government (Hey Uncle Sam!) when the
platform was exploited by the underworld.
We then talked about Liberty Reserve which was again shut down by the United States government
for the same reason as E-Gold, having too much illegal activity on the platform.
And I pointed out that the biggest problem for digital currencies in the rise of E-Gold
and Liberty Reserve was the fact that it was a centralised ledger which meant it could
be shut down unlike the cryptocurrencies we have today.
We also touched on QQ coin from China and PayPal.
Alright, that's enough of an introduction.

Alright, lets get into it.
So, we talked about what we discussed last week in the introduction to this video.
And now, our mini-series leads us to 9 years ago in 2008, just as the financial world was
melting down around us, something beautiful shined.
A paper describing digital currencies and the foundations of a new currency appeared
by an unknown person or group who goes by the name of Satoshi Nakamoto.
Just an FYI, if you're interested in that paper I've linked to it in the description
box below.
This paper described a currency that wouldn't have a centra ledger system.
This feature would completely disable the governments ability to shut it down just like
how they did with E-Gold and Liberty Reserve.
The new currency would also be able to process transactions within 10-Minutes between accounts
which was unheard of in the central ledger system world as these same transactions would
usually take days or weeks to send money around the world.
The new currency was designed so that everyone had the same rights under the new financial
system where their account couldn't be shut down, there would be no delay in transactions
taking place and that no one could tamper with or influence the system.
This currency was made by the people for the people.
This currency also didn't incur additional fees as there was no need for a middle man
such as VISA or banks which are both known to cripple businesses in retail for their
outrageous additional fees.
So, what was the currency they envisioned?
Well, that currency is Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was conceptualised in and put together in 2008, however the currency wasn't actually
developed and didn't come out until 2009.
And after it came out in 2009, for years the currency was only talked about and used within
high level thinkers such as mathematicians and also the underworld such as hackers and
people who used Bitcoin for dark web market transactions to buy services and products
such as illegal drugs and weapons online because it is difficult to trace those transactions.
Bitcoin didn't really take off until late 2016, 8 years after Bitcoin was conceptualised
but 7 years after being built when the mass market and investors poured in.
We won't go into the details of why the currency exploded and people started to throw money
at it in this video because it's such a big topic but we're going to be going into that
within a seperate video.

It's important to mention that Bitcoin does have some significant issues, such as privacy
since transactions can be traced and another issue is its high volatility of its value.
Because of these two reasons, and because people simply thought that they could do better,
people started to create their own currencies which are called alt-coins.
In 2011, the first alt-coin which was named Namecoin was created.
It's unique difference is that it was able to store data within its blockchain.
Some other alt coins which you might be familiar with is Dogecoin, Monero and Ethereum.
In fact, Vladimir Putin and the Russian government endorsed Ethereum's blockchain technology
which just shows how powerful these currencies and blockchains are becoming, not only to
high level mathematicians and hackers but to major world governments and the financial
market.
