5 Unique DIY Home Decor Ideas from Recycled Materials - Duration: 3:11.
You might be tired with how your cutleries are not well-organized.
Lucky for you, I have found a nice idea suitable for that situation.
This is 5 Unique DIY home decor ideas from Recycled Materials
by simphome.com.
1.
Frame Shelves
When you have too many unused frames,
you can make them into frame shelves.
What you need to do is making a wooden box without the top surface.
Cover and hot glue the top surface with one of the frame.
Make sure that you have removed the background of the frame beforehand.
Make some of them with different frames and sizes.
Then, install these shelves on the wall.
These frames will give your home a unique accent.
2.
Cutlery Organizer from Cans
You might be tired with how your cutleries
are not well-organized.
This is why you should make an inexpensive
and simple organizer from used food cans.
If you have some food cans with same size,
then you should gather them and repaint them.
You also need to attach a piece of paper on each can.
Each of the paper pieces should be written
with the name of each cutlery so they can be organized well.
3.
Food Tray from Frames
You have spare frames unused?
You can make food tray from these frames
by hot gluing a wood in cylinder shape between frames.
It is simple, inexpensive, and it is useful.
4.
Ottoman from a Tire
Do you have a patio and you want to add an ottoman on it?
You might think that the usual ottoman would
get dirty easily if it is being put on a patio;
but not with this one.
To make this ottoman, you need a tire, a rope,
hot glue, and round wood large enough to cover the tire hole.
Simply attach and hot glue the wood to cover the tire hole.
Then, patiently glue the rope and
wind it on the tire until the entire surface is covered.
5.
Tennis Ball Key Holder
This decoration is easy to make and it is
also useful so you won't forget where you put the keys anymore.
The steps are really easy; simply cut
the surface but don't cut it to the edge.
Now your tennis ball has a mouth-like tip
that can be used to clamp the keys.
Put the ball on the wall near the entrance of your house.
You can give it a pair of eyes to make it cuter.
Done, I hope these ideas can upgrade you interior decor to a new level,

2018 Reading Challenges - Duration: 8:21.
Hi, it's Maija here, and it's time for my 2018 reading challenges. I did a wrap-up
of my 2017 challenges and some stats in a previous video, go watch that if you
want to before this, but now it's time for all new challenges. And let's start
with number one which is, as always, the Goodreads Reading Challenge, where I just
punch in a number of how many books I want to read during the year. And as I
always say, this is just a number that I know I can reach, I do not put like 200
books or even a 100 books there, even though I have read a 100 books some
years. I put in 60 for this year, that would be 52 books, a book a week and then
I added a few numbers for graphic novels and comics. So that's all fine and
self-explanatory, let's move on on to number 2, which is about my TBR. I want to
continue reading more of my owned TBR books. So I did the Mount TBR challenge
last year and I'm not sure if I want to take part in it again this year,
I might just sign up. But I want to tone down my library use for a while. I use
the library a lot, I think 70 of the things that I read last year were from the
library, but my TBR shelf is stock full again, I can't fit any more books on this
shelf, which is my TBR shelf. I have a couple of books on other shelves now
that I haven't read, because they just won't fit there, so I need to start
reading my own books. So the challenge is that I can only borrow one book from the
library at a time. The difficulty has been that I have put a lot of books on
hold, and right at the end of 2017 - this has happened before, of course, but the
most recent one was at the end of 2017 - when a bunch of new releases
finally came to the library and I got a bunch of my reservations at the same
time and then I had to rush to read them, and that really put a downer on me and
I don't feel like reading deadlines right now. So I try to get less books
from the library. I froze all my current holds, I have a few holds, I will
only unlock them one at a time from there, and also add new holds after those
are gone. So this one can't be started until
February, since I now have still a bunch of those books that came at the end of
2017 for me to read from the library, so after I finish those, it's just one.
I will give myself the opportunity to get two if one of them is a comic or if one
of them is a regular-sized book and one is a longer book that doesn't have
reservations that I know that I can renew and sort of read it for a longer amount
of time. I also have my A to Z TBR project which I talked about in a Friday
Reads video and showed you all of the books that I plan to read for that challenge.
So if you want to see all the books that I show you there, I will link it in the
cards. Since I got so many books at the end of December I think that some of
those books are going to change that I show from that video, I might instead read
some other books. So the A to Z TBR challenge is just that I organized the
front row of my TBR shelf alphabetically and I want to read one book starting
with every letter of the alphabet, not in order but, like, choosing from here and
there and at the end get the whole alphabet. I have already finished A, it was
Aurinkokuningas, which is the Finnish translation of The Sun King by Nancy
Mitford, and I am currently in the middle of Tom Reiss' The Black Count for B.
I said in the video that for C I would be reading The Child Thief, but I think I
will be reading The City of Brass instead, I'm really feeling like reading
that one. Then for my third challenge I want to read at least five classics this
year, and I mean older classics. I didn't read... well, I did read five
classics in 2017 as well, but three of those were modern classics, and I only
read from older books Lois the Witch by Elizabeth Gaskell, which was a novella,
and The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, so those were both
from earlier than 1900. And I want to read some older classics again, I've been
really missing them. I'm not gonna set a specific TBR for this one, but currently
I'm feeling like reading [Viyette] or [Villette] by Charlotte Brontë, which was
published in 1853, Mary Barton by Elizabeth Gaskell, which was
published in 1848, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë from 1848, as well,
Lady Susan by Jane Austen, because I have it in one of the collections and I
haven't read it yet, and that was published in 1871, but it was written
possibly between 1794 and 1805, and then The Black Tulip by Alexandre Dumas from
1850, or then reread the Musketeers book 20 Years After by Dumas from 1845. So
those are the five books that I'm currently thinking of, but of course I'm a mood
reader, so I will pick whatever classic I want when I feel like it. My fourth
challenge, or thing that I'd like to do, is to reread some books. I also have a
couple of things chosen for this one, but this is not that I have to read these
specific books, I just want to reread in general. But one book that I'm feeling
like rereading is The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice, it's been so long since I read this,
I read this in my teens and I loved it then, so I want to know how I feel about
it now. Then I also have the Absolute editions of The Sandman comics by Neil
Gaiman, I want to reread this whole series. I want to finally reread the
Parasol Protectorate series. I have read this once and then I tried to read
Prudence when it came out, but I realized that I don't remember much from the last,
like, two books. I have already reread Soulless and I am in the middle of rereading
Changeless. I have it as an audiobook, I also reread Soulless as an audiobook, but I
am such a slow audiobook reader, I don't know when I can get through Changeless, but
when I do, I think I will just read the rest of the three in physical format,
even though I really do like the narrator of these. And then just a couple
of maybes: I will probably end up rereading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana
Wynne Jones, because I like to reread this. And then just a few days ago the
Scott Pilgrim movie was on TV and I really liked that and it made me want to
reread the Scott Pilgrim comics by Bryan Lee O'Malley, so I might reread
these in 2018, as well. So those were all my bookish challenges, as far as channel
challenges, I want to continue to post at least one video per week in 2018
and then for more specific content challenges, I want to try to do a vlog.
I've been really enjoying watching especially Becky M's and Ange's, from
Beyond the Pages, their vlogs, just seeing how
they do with their reading, how they choose a new book in between other
things that they do in their life. It's just been really entertaining, so I might
try to do either a month-long vlog or a week-long vlog. I have only vlogged
during Booktubeathon before so I want to try to maybe do a month-long vlog
where I just show you what I'm reading when I'm reading it.
I like that Becky M does these challenges where she sets these specific things
that she wants to accomplish, like for example off the top of my head,
like wants to read one ebook, or one classic science fiction book, or
something like that. So I might do a vlog where at the beginning of the month I,
for example, put myself the challenge of reading two of my owned physical books, one
of my owned ebooks and one library book, or something like that, and then just
show you throughout the month as I go along and what I read and what I pick
for the challenges. Again, I just really have liked watching those sorts of vlogs,
so maybe I should try and do one. So those were all my challenges. To recap,
they were the Goodreads challenge, my A to Z TBR challenge, only borrowing one book at
a time from the library, reading five classics, and rereading some books. Let me
know if you have also done a 2018 reading goals video, I really like
watching these, and I hope your 2018 reading has gotten off to a good start,
and I am really excited about these challenges. I always am for about the
first half of the year, so maybe if I accomplish my A to Z TBR challenge
during the first half of the year, I might set myself another challenge for
the rest of the year. But let's talk more in the comments, I
hope you enjoyed this video and I will see you in my next one. Bye!

How to Deal With Clingy Kids | Parenting A-Z - Duration: 9:40.
Hey hey my friend! Welcome back! I'm Kelly Bourne and this is today's edition of
Parenting A-to-Z and we're talking C is for Clingy. Oh my gosh -- how to deal
with those stage-five clinger's. We're gonna dive into why our kids are clingy,
how to deal, and then some prevention tactics.
C is for clingy -- coming right up!
It can be super maddening, can it not?! It's like all you want to do is cook dinner, or put
something away, or fix something, or just do anything other than having someone
clinging to your legs or clinging to your arms or just wanting to be
attached like glue to you 24/7. It can be... Oh my gosh I empathize with this
about a million percent. I know, super scientific over here, but
the thing with our clingy kids is, it's totally normal behaviour.
Especially in that toddler/ early preschooler phase. Where maybe they
have been home with us, maybe they have been around us a lot, and suddenly either
you're going back to work, or there's been a change in environment, like a new
sibling -- that's another big trigger right there -- they're feeling a little bit
insecure about their attachment with you and that's where a lot of the clingy
behavior can come in. So it's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just one of
those milestones that I know can be a total stress sandwich. So the biggest
thing when we're working with clingy behavior is sending the message to our
kids that they can trust us and we are that secure base, but also supporting
them through that limiting belief that they're only safe if mom is right with
them or if dad is right with them, and just kind of expanding their horizons a
little bit to see that they can have really great relationships and
have fun and have a great time and still feel safe and that they they belong
and are connected with other people. Like their teachers or their grandparents or
their coaches or whoever it may be. And before I really dive into any
tactics or strategies, for anybody who's dealing with this
first thing to look for is any changes. That's where you may see an uptick in
clingy behaviour. Whether it's a move, whether it's a new relationship, whether
it's bringing home a new sibling, those can all be major major triggers for
clingy behaviour or wanting to hold that secure base tight. Because
you're kids get nervou,s right?! Our kids can get a little bit unsure of
these new situations. So just have an awareness of that if that's been a
trigger for you. And another big thing to notice -- I know, I feel like I
need to kind of put up my shield here a little bit, because don't shoot the
messenger, okay! -- sometimes it's important to have an awareness of how we are
viewing their clingy behaviour. Because you know what? Sometimes it can feel good.
Sometimes it can feel good to know that, you know, little Suzy only wants Mom or
little Suzy only wants dad. And we're like right there on the top of the
pedestal in their eyes, we're that shining star. That can feel good and
sometimes we can promote that behaviour because of a need that it's
filling for us. So just again, if you're dealing with that clingy behaviour, look
at your own perceptions of it. Is it something you're complaining
about, something you're saying you want to change, but secretly deep down you
love that they only want you to get the cups for them at breakfast? So just
put that, just back for safekeeping to think about for yourself, if you
could potentially be acting as a trigger in any way. Okay! And in to the
nitty-gritty of how to deal. First and foremost, above all else is staying calm.
Because I know. When you've got a stage five clinger and you've got stuff to do
it can be -- I know, I'm like (getting stressed) you can feel it, right?! Sometimes
it's enough to make the blood boil. So do what you need to do to stay calm, whether
it's taking a breath, taking a moment. Because, right, it's that old saying -- you have
to put your own oxygen mask on first -- and if you are starting to freak your freak,
heck, like good luck dealing with your clinger in a way that isn't
going to upset yourself and everybody, right?! So just try your best to stay calm.
And it's gonna look different for everybody and how to do that, but just
find your own way. I know for me, taking a few deep breaths really helps, or I know
I say it all the time, but getting down at my kids' level sometimes helps me
get things back on an even keel. So stay calm above all else. And then
it's really just a matter of listening and empathizing with your kids while at
the same time reinforcing the idea that they're safe and that they're gonna be
okay if they stay with Grandma while you go and get groceries. And then on top of
that whole idea of reassuring our kids, is a way to help foster predictability
and trust is to give them a heads' up as to when you will be available. So
if you are trying to cook dinner, say, and you just you need to get through it
in order to feed the family, is just again listening empathizing with them,
giving them another activity to do, and say "You know what, bud? I have to
finish this. I really want to play with you, but give me ten minutes and then
we'll rendezvous on the living room play mat ." Letting them know when
you can hang out again. And then, whether it's setting a timer or giving
them some sort of signal so that they know when that time is up, same as if you
are leaving them with a babysitter or grandma or whoever to go
and get groceries -- listening and validating and giving those hugs and
cuddles. Reinforcing the idea of safety, that you know what? Grandma's gonna take
really good care of you. She loves you. I'll be back in 15 minutes." Sending that
idea that, okay, mom's going away, mom says I'm gonna be safe (or dad if it's dad's
joining me right now) and she's coming back for me and we can
hang out at a later time. So that's a huge thing is letting them know
when you can hang together again. Because that's a big
thing for our kids. In moving forward, that's kind of how to deal in
the moment, right? Listening and validating, reinforcing safety and
letting them know when you'll be back and when you can hang out with them again.
But then moving forward and looking at the long-term picture is noticing again
what these triggers are for your kids' clinginess. Is it in times of
transitions? Because who-wee! Small kids, they have a they can have a really hard
time with transitions! So if you notice that, it's all about giving your kids a
heads up, letting them know you're gonna be going in five more
minutes, or I have to cook supper in 20 minutes, can I read you a story or do you want to have a
cuddle now? Because I'm gonna be unavailable for a little bit. So
how do you want to hang together now? That can be a huge --
I always feel like a bomb technician when I do things like that!
Because it's the preemptive strategies I find that that help the best. And then
if it is things that are happening on a continuous basis, like if you're finding
your clinger is always when you're trying to cook supper, or it's always
when you're trying to leave the kids with the sitter going out the door in
the morning -- depending on your kids' ages you can practice this. You can role play
this and talk about their feelings and what they're going through. So you can
pretend what it's going to be like when mom or dad is leaving to go
for work. And they can practice with their play kitchen or play food or
whatever what they're gonna do, what they're gonna choose to do, how they're
gonna occupy themselves while you're cooking dinner. And of course, I know that
won't work for all ages, but even when your kids get up into like the two
and a half, three, you can absolutely start integrating some of
those pre-emptive strategies. Practicing what it's gonna be like if
transitions are difficult. And last and finally -- and this is probably
the the grand macdaddy of what to do moving forward -- is to start the process
of creating some new routines where you are not involved. I know. Gasp! It's hard
if you have been the primary caregiver and you have
been doing all the feeding and the bathing and the dressing, and you've been
doing everything. It can be really hard to start to let go of that. But in order
to show our kids that there are lots of other trusting adults, or the
other parent in their life to help them through, that's how we can really
help mitigate the the clingy problem. Because they can see that there are other
people, other trusting adults to help them get through the day. It's tricky
dealing with our clingers because they look to us
as a really secure base. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It's just getting them to see that there are other people in their world that
they can trust. And that they can handle it. Because when
we give in to their clingy behavior time and time again, and when we're the only
one ever getting the cup for them or the only one putting the food on their plate,
we are just reinforcing their stress and reinforcing their anxiety as being the
only ones capable of doing that for them. So give it a go guys, try setting up some
new routines, try practicing transitions, and of course let me
know how it goes! Let me know how it goes. I know -- this could be a tough one. And of
course, if you're looking for any in-depth support or you want to join in
on my office hours, you want to access our -- oh my gosh, our library of like
50-plus private videos and cheat sheets and worksheets I have over in our
membership site, The Parent 'Hood, join us, yo! What are you waiting for?! Join us! So I
hope that helps with your clingers! I'll see in the next video!

How and how much money do you make from YOUTUBE? - Duration: 4:09.
It is said that you usually get $ 3,000 a million views. In reality, things are not exactly that.
Youtube pays you more than 50% of your money on an ad posted in your video.
Usually a click on an ad placed in a YouTube video brings you between $ 0.2 and $ 1.
In this paper I present how and how much money can a "youtuber"
Anyone who owns a camera and a computer can make money from Youtube.
Basically, all you have to do is register as a user and upload videos.
Surely everything sounds good, but to make money, Youtube has to decide if the content of
your clips is your own creation and if it is worth calling you a partner with papers.
This "contract" is usually also based on the number of channel subscribers and the number of views.
The more your weekly videos collect more subscribers, the more you can make more money from Youtube in the future.
To be considered as a strong partner, you must have clips that have been viewed over 15,000 hours in a maximum of 90 days.
The famous "Charlie bit my finger" movie, in which a parent filmed his two children who just learned to speak, and the other bit the big brother to his finger,
gathered over 368 million views from 2007 until present.
This figure has brought over $ 100,000 to the family inspired to open the room and post the movie on Youtube.
The strongest account in Romania that has nearly
2 billion views (total for all uploaded clips) and over 1,700,000 thousand subscribers is Cat Music.
Cat Music's account can produce at least $ 600 a day and a maximum of $ 10,000 a day.
Estimates range from $ 238,000 to $ 3.8 million annually for the account where Romanian artists' clips are uploaded.
In addition to the classic method of becoming a Youtube partner, there are other small tricks that experienced users are sure to use.
Start a series of tutorials divided into episodes. The most popular tutorials are about women tricks,
photoshop tutorials and video editing.
Placing products in your videos.
If you succeeded in having a successful show on Youtube, the thing comes almost alone.
Makes motivational clips. If you've been able to get audiences you will certainly be able to do this
live in various conference rooms where you can charge a fee.
Use the most viewed clips to bring traffic to your website or other sites that are willing to pay directly for this.
Reviews of the most popular products. You can get in touch with the direct producer of a product
and offer them a series of clips that tell the viewer the advantages and disadvantages of the product.
Thank you for watching and I hope this material has satisfied your desire for knowledge and has enriched your knowledge!
And we will see next time!
All the best!
