Step 2 CS Preparation: 3 Reasons Why Your Step 2 CS Notes Are Failing - Duration: 8:42.

hello everybody and welcome back today we're gonna dive in and discuss the

three biggest reasons why your Step 2 CS patient notes are failing. Now by the

time that we're through this video, you're going to understand what the three

biggest causes of poor Step 2 CS patient notes are and you'll understand

why this is and how to fix it so that you can put out high-quality, passing

Step 2 CS patient notes. And if you stick around until the end I'm going to

give you a free bonus gift just for sticking around with us until the end. So

Who am I? My name is Dr. Paul and I'm the director of programs here at the USMLE

Success Academy and over many many years of helping students prepare for and pass

their Step 2 CS exams, we've seen it all, and in recent years there's a trend

of students failing the ICE component of their exams. And while this is caused

by many things, one of the biggest red flags we're seeing are very poor patient

notes, but we're gonna fix that for you right now. So let's dive in and let's

take a look at the top three reasons why your patient notes are failing.

Reason number one: you're giving the reader a poor initial impression. But

what does that mean? Well, consider this: let's say you went out to a nice

restaurant and you sit down and you're excited and you order your food and

you're waiting in anticipation of a great meal and when it gets to the table

it's messy, it's sloppy, the presentation is awful; yes the food might taste good,

it might taste outstanding, but the initial impression packs a huge punch

and it carries a lot of weight. So if you create your patient note and the HPI

isn't well laid out, your past medical history, your social history, your sexual

history, etc. are not well laid out or framed for easy reading, you're starting

off with your back against the wall right away. Here's the thing guys, you

need to present a note that is pleasing to the eye, that is easy to navigate, and

easy to grade. If the person reading your note is turned off right away because it

looks sloppy and it looks unprofessional, do you think that they're gonna spend an

extra five or ten minutes just trying to figure out what's going on? I highly

doubt it. So that's your first very big mistake,

you're putting together a sloppy note. But how do we fix this? Well, the fix is

actually really easy: just make sure that your note is coming up as clean, crisp,

and easy-to-read, and you will avoid this problem altogether. Now, I want you to

think of a textbook or a magazine article... You open it up and you look at

it and they're easy to read and they're easy to navigate because they're very

well organized. You should strive for that same level of organization when you

put together your patient notes.

Reason number two is a lack of adequate information in the HPI. Okay, so this one

really bothers me and the reason why is because there are mnemonics out there

designed to ensure that you ask and document all of the relevant and

necessary information for the HPI, there's just no excuse not to have a

thorough and a detailed HPI that answers all of the main questions that the

reader absolutely, positively needs to know. And just so that you don't say well

I don't know these mnemonics, here's the one that we actually give our Step 2

CS program students. I want you to write this down if you don't know it so that

you don't make this mistake. So the mnemonic is this: LIQOR, OPDFCSAAA.

You only use LIQR, which is location, intensity, quality, and radiation if

you're dealing with pain. Otherwise, if it's a non pain case, let's say

hypothyroidism, you'll always use OPDFCSAAA. Okay, let me say that again: Non-pain

cases you always use OPDFCSAAA. So if you're doing an encounter you

need to always include these components into your HPI ,and they stand for: onset

progression, duration, frequency, chronic, or intermittent, setting, alleviating

factors, aggravating factors, and associated signs or symptoms. Okay, you

absolutely positively need to include that information into your HPI. If you

don't, then you're just being neglectful and you won't get full points and you

might in fact miss enough information that it leads to a note failure. Please

don't make this easy to avoid mistake.

And then we have reason number three, which is poor differential diagnosis,

poor differential ordering, and poor support. Now, that's actually three

separate things, but I've included them into one topic because they're all so

important. So what does this mean? Well it's quite simple, it means that your

differential diagnoses need to be spot-on, there is no room for error or

highly unlikely differentials. No, these days you have so much competition that

you need to be perfect. But how do you do this? Well it's easy: you study and you

study a lot. You cannot take the CS exam lightly anymore, so it's imperative that

you're putting in the time and the effort to make sure that your diagnostic

skills are on point. Now, if you've got two to three good

differentials that are possible based on the findings in the encounter, you need

two to three good strong pieces of support for each. Now, as a rule we tell

our live Step 2 CS students that if you can't find two to three strong

pieces of support for a differential that you've chosen, then it probably isn't as

good as you thought it was. And finally, ordering your differentials is highly

important. This means that if you've got let's say three differentials, you need

to order them in a way that has your most likely differential first, your

second most likely second, and your third differential third. You absolutely do not

want to just throw them down in any order without really considering which

is more likely than the next. If you do that, you're likely going to lose points.

So there you have it, three of the big reasons why students are failing their

Step 2 CS patient notes. Let's just do a real quick recap. Remember reason

number one: You're making a poor initial impression. Make sure that your notes are

nicely formatted and pleasing to the eye. If you write a note I want you to look

at it critically and ask yourself if it looks good at first glance. If it doesn't,

start from scratch. Keep working, keep practicing until you get comfortable

writing a solid note. Reason number two remember is a lack of adequate

information in your HP. Remember what I said, you have mnemonics to

ensure that you never miss an important HPI question. If you're missing

information in your HPI, you're either not using the mnemonic or you're being

sloppy when you convert your encounter note into a patient note. Either way, you

need to improve this part of your note. And reason number three is your

differentials are weak, they lack support, and they're not in the right order from

most to least likely. Now this is fixed by studying your clinical knowledge

information hard enough that no encounter leaves you scratching your

head wondering what's going on.

Are you ready to start preparing for your step to CS exam but you're not sure

where to start or you're scared of wasting time and energy on things that

just aren't all that important? Let us be your guides and we'll show you how to

prepare the right way and the smart way so that you don't have to waste your

time or your energy trying to figure things out on this crazy exam.

MAXPEDITION Launches the Entity Series at SHOT Show 2018 - Duration: 1:17.

Hi I'm Tim Tang, president of Maxpedition.

For SHOT Show 2018,

Maxpedition introduces the Entity Series,

a third new family of products

that along with the Legacy and AGR series,

completes the Maxpedition umbrella of tactical carry solutions.

Designed around our Non-Tactical/Tactical concept,

Entity focuses on discreet concealed carry for covert operators and prepared citizens

whose roles as protectors of society

require them to blend in and disappear

in order to detect and assess threats

while being entirely invisible.

A sleek, modern, yet low-key exterior,

devoid of characteristics commonly associated with commercial tactical gear,

hides an interior optimized for organization,

situational awareness

and rapid response.

The new Entity line reinforces the often obscured ideology

that being tactical comes from within.

After all, tactical isn't a look,

it's a state of mind.

Step 2 CS Preparation: Learning How To Show Empathy - Duration: 5:09.

welcome everybody today I'm going to show you how to demonstrate empathy

during your step 2 CS exam even if you're not an empathetic person or if

you struggle to recognize when and where to show it so after finishing the short

video you'll have a complete understanding and a strategy for exactly

how to get your empathy points throughout the CS exam even if you

struggle to show it when you practice it and be sure to stick around until the

end of this video because I've got a special bonus for you but only if you stick

around until the end. So my name is Dr. Paul and I'm the director of programs

here at the USMLE Success Academy, now after helping hundreds and hundreds of

students over the years with their CS prep, lacking empathy has been a common

problem so we started to implement exactly what I'm about to share with you

here today and it had worked like a charm over and

over again, so let's dive in. First let me ask you does this sound like you you're

in your encounter and you know you should be showing empathy but you don't

know when to do it and even if you're given a cue you find it awkward or

difficult to show it in the right way well if that's you or even if it isn't

you but you want to show more empathy don't worry I've got the solution so

here's two times during your history component where you can lead the patient

into telling you about their problem so that you can demonstrate empathy on the

spot. Of course things might pop up elsewhere but these two specific steps

will be done specifically so that you can demonstrate empathy; it's going to be

something that you bring upon the encounter so that you can get your

points. So here are those two opportunities first when you've entered

the room and you sit down to talk with the patient

ask them what brought them in, they'll tell you whatever the problem may be at

this point tell them that you're really sorry to hear about XYZ whether it's

stomach pain headache etc and be sure that you do so with an empathetic tone

and let them know that you're going to do everything in your power to help them

feel better. That was your first empathy point and

you got it out of the way right at the beginning of the

encounter. Now, not only did you get your point early on but you created an

atmosphere where the patient feels that you're empathetic and this only makes

the patient feel more and more comfortable with you moving forward. The

second forced empathy point comes at the end of your history when you do a

quick review of the problem. Now just as a side note you don't need to repeat

every part of the HPI, past medical history, social history, just cover a

few points that really stand out such as this: Ok Mr. Smith, just to review

you're experiencing a pounding headache on the left side of your head that comes

and goes throughout the day and is getting progressively worse, do I have

that right? They'll say yes. At this point, thank them

for answering your questions and reassure them again that you're gonna do

everything in your power to help them feel better ASAP. They'll thank you and

then you move into your physical exam. And that's all there is to it. You've

demonstrated empathy two times already and if you do this right the patient has

no idea that you've planned it out and it allows you to get those empathy

points that you need for your exam early on right away and naturally. So here's

what I want you to do. As you practice your encounters be sure to actively

practice this at those two specific points. After you've done this a dozen or

so times, it should become second nature so that you can be sure to get those

points on your exam. So just to review, ask them the problem at the onset and

demonstrate empathy then wrap up the history component with a quick review

and offer empathy again. Do that and you'll be sure to get your points. Okay,

so I know you want to maximize your efforts in your Step 2 CS prep, and I

told you about something special at the beginning of this video. Well now

you can go ahead and download it below this video we're giving you an outline

of the five biggest mistakes that students are making during their Step

2 CS prep that could lead to failure. It's free to download, just go ahead and

Shrub Pruning | From the Ground Up - Duration: 1:34.

So, this shrub has reached a size that's kind of overgrown the space that it has to

grow in.

And so, in order to keep it from doing damage to the paint and finish on the wood here,

we're going to prune it back.

As with any pruning job, you want to remove crossed and rubbing branches because they'll

damage each other and bring in bacteria and fungus that can inhabit the branches and spread

disease.

There are some branches down below that have been cut off and there's no new growth coming

on them.

And those would need to be removed.

And we also have some large branches that can be removed that will help rejuvenate this

shrub.

So, when you prune branches back, especially for size management, you want to prune back

to another growing point so that you get natural growth on the plant, but you minimize the

size of the shrub.

I always want to encourage pruning back to a stem that's large enough to support the

growth of that branch.

If you can't find a branch to cut it back to, then the preference would be to cut it

back to the ground level.

And the closer to the ground level you can get, the better, so that there's not exposed

wood that can decay back and expose the rest of the shrub to disease.

With the University of Wyoming Extension, I'm Donna Hoffman, From the Ground Up.

Bunkyo Civic Center Sky View Lounge - Tokyo - 文京シビックセンター展望ラウンジ - 4K Ultra HD - Duration: 3:08.

The Bunkyo Civic Center, and its Sky View Lounge observatory is, as far as we are concerned,

the best spot in Tokyo to enjoy Mt Fuji behind Shinjuku's major skyscrapers.

Open year round with free admission since 1994,

the Bunkyo Civic Center had a rather rocky start and today's design is actually very different from the initial one!

the original building that was built in 1959 was not deemed to match future safety standards

and it was instead decided that it would make more economical sense to come-up with an entire new design.

Opening for the second time in 1994, the Bunkyo Civic Center, the administrative heart of Bunkyo,

is a radiant compromise between modern architecture and functionality.

If you ever have the chance to visit the Bunkyo Civic Center,

we would strongly advise you to do so as early as possible in the morning (9 a.m.) or during sunset.

Dear Brothers, I'm Sorry - Duration: 2:07.

To my brothers in Christ.

I'm so sorry.

I'm sorry we live in a culture that looks to emasculate you.

A culture that pollutes us with images of men who striving for anything but virtue.

I'm sorry that the media always portrays husbands or male characters

as these dim-witted, lazy men who do nothing for themselves.

I'm sorry that we never acknowledge that men struggle with self-worth and body image as well.

I'm sorry that the culture tells us that real men are these over-sexualized beings

who spend six-plus hours in the gym and have no control over their sexual desires.

I'm so sorry that the culture portrays the "nice guy" as this nerdy,

backboneless man, who can never seem to get out of the friend zone.

And doesn't display any sort of confidence.

I'm sorry that the only guy who seems to display any sort of confidence

is the tool who has no respect for himself or women.

I'm sorry the culture has fed us the lie that "men don't cry."

That if a man cries or displays any sign of sympathy or compassion, then he's weak.

I'm sorry our culture sucks.

I hear your frustration.

And I'm here to say that I don't believe those lies.

You were made for so much more than what this culture tells you.

You are a strong, bold, dauntless man of God.

You area man entrusted with the duty to uphold the dignity of every woman.

A duty you will fulfill beautifully and courageously.

I promise to do my part in leading you away from sin and closer to the heart of Christ.

We live in a culture that strives to kill any ounce of virtue.

A culture that tries to pin man and woman against each other.

To convince us that we're alone in this strive for holiness.

I refuse to allow it to win.

I choose to stand against the tide.

To break the chains.

I choose to help restore the culture through virtue.

I choose to do that through my love for each brother and sister in Christ.

I choose to stand beside you, walking the long and narrow path to Heaven.

To eternity.

To a life of happiness and joy.

Love, your sister in Christ.

My First Time - Pressure Cooking | Episode 40 - Duration: 10:59.

hello... hello... why aren't I that happy... start the car! hi everybody my name is Alex welcome to my kitchen where we only

cook healthy food that doesn't suck what I'm working with tonight is kale

mushrooms leeks celery organic coconut milk taters various spices an onion these this and

chicken so naturally I'm gonna be making kind of like a chicken curry kind of

thing it's gonna be food that's how I cook yum so first up we're gonna take

our onions we're gonna top and tail it fancy fancy words I'm gonna do long slices and the just chop

new gadget alert new gadget alert we got a new gadget guys this is called a pressure cooker and it's supposed to cook things really

fast so I'm making stew and it says it's only going to take five minutes to cook we'll

see about that so I'm gonna get my pot nice and hot I

changed my mind about the order of thing I'm gonna start with some grapeseed oil

new oil alert new oil alert apparently it's really good for a high temperature

frying so cooking things like meat in grapeseed oil is fantastic so I'm gonna

do like a generous slosh of that then I'm gonna get my chicken ready gonna get up in

here up in here up in here y'all gonna make me act a fool up in here up in here

y'all gonna make me lose my cool up in here up in here always wash your hands

when working with chicken don't touch stuff stuff gets weird from chicken so it's not my

regular salt just kosher whatever that was a heck of a lot of salt pepper

I'm gonna come in with some paprika so let me just mix this up a little bit I don't like it when the

chicken touches the other things and I like talking in song cuz it makes me feel good

sorry about that more salt more paprika okay my grapeseed oil is probably

hot so I'm gonna drop my chicken in here and get it brown on each side now I'm

just gonna keep on chopping keep on keepin on let's head out out with the leaks

a leak is kind of like an onion it's in the onion family or I could be a

walrus I'm Alex this is my kitchen the thing about leaks is that

they can get pretty dusty on the inside so you want to really like open them up

and then rinse them off I'm gonna give these a nice coarse chop cuz I'm so

fancy I think there's like a whole market for just singing rap songs like

talking rap songs I'm so fancy you already know I'm in the fast lane from

LA to Tokyo celery again rinse it off chop it up so we have a lot of green

happening here I'm gonna add a little bit color I only have baby carrots so I'm

gonna use some baby carrots again cut them into kinda bigger pieces so just flip the

chicken over so it can cook on the other and I'm gonna hit my mushrooms haha i hit them so for mushrooms just cut off any big

bits of dirt hopefully you're buying organic and then you don't really have

to worry about does anyone know anything about the stems of the mushrooms like are you supposed to keep it are you supposed

to get rid of them are they good are they bad I have no idea I don't know why I'm

taking them off I've just decided that's how I'm rolling today okay so I'm just gonna

quarter the mushroom so into big chunks mushrooms are chopped

time for the taters and maybe from like the second time ever on

my show I'm actually gonna peel these I just feel like it today feels like a

peeled potato kind of day oh hey this is why I don't peel potatoes cause it's

boring okay let's chop these potatoes up I don't know into like a medium dice we're going

rustic here people I just can't believe that potatoes and all this

stuff is gonna be cooked in five minutes it it's it's unbelievable

un-freakin'-believable i also made up too much because it says

like please don't feel above the fill line and I'm gonna take it's advice so I

don't blow it up this is probably the first time ever that I actually read the

manual to something because I was worried that it was gonna blow me up

okay that's all my stuff for the ginger I'm just gonna take the skin off of the outside so I'm gonna

chop it word to the wise don't touch your face with ginger hands let's get our little spice mix together

while we wait I got some white pepper white pepper is actually pretty powerful

don't you don't need a lot of it it's way more powerful than black pepper I'm gonna

throw some basil in here generously hit it with some tumeric a little bit more

paprika lemongrass is where I get

confused do you put the whole thing in like is this gonna or is this gonna be

weird AF yeah it's like straight up like eating bark not at all not

enjoying that I saw this on TV the other day so I'm gonna try it I

got two celeries I gonna line them with these chives so I'm making a chive

Sandwich here I'm going to the layer in my lemongrass actually I'll put my

lemongrass in the bottom and put my chives on top okay if you know me you know

what I feel like I'm doing right now you know what I mean okay so chives on top

I'm also gonna put my two dried chilies in here and then I'm gonna close the

chili sandwich chili sandwich I'm gonna take my butchers twine I'm gonna tie it off

yeah this is probably not an actual technique I saw one person do it on

the Internet one time and so obviously I'm trying it and am the experts trust

me not working okay guys the chicken is done the chicken is out I'm gonna put

all of my oniony products in here so ah I'm just gonna put everything

let's just let's just go for it oh I'm at the first fill line all right so

everything is in including the ginger I'm gonna add my spice mix I'm gonna add coconut milk should I sautee this

for a little bit first what's the rule I don't know you tell me welcome to this

corner of my kitchen so we're gonna get everything mixed together we're gonna

get the spices going we're gonna get the ginger going we're gonna get the

potatoes covered we are mixing it up we need to add the chicken back and also

I'm getting dangerously close to that second line Oh hello

oh you like it why I dance don't you this is happening let's add our chicken

back in and pray to God that we don't hit the second line okay I don't really

care if it's mix or not I'm gonna add this guy I'm gonna add this guy this is

uh just a little bit of reduced chicken stock I'm gonna add that one more good

mix like I just don't get this I don't have the answers but what I do have is

life insurance so let's try this the lid goes on this is the pressure

gauge it's a very awkward piece that isn't actually attached to anything but

it's very important so you put that right on the top here

once it heats up that little gauge there is gonna start getting crazy like a wiki

wiki Wow the cooking time for like everything

it's like four minutes five minutes potatoes or five chicken is four like

this is crazy either it's not working or it is

working and I'm impatient or it's broken and the pressure is building up to such

intense places the whole thing's gonna explode in a minute

I'm safe now maybe needs to be hotter get it going let that whole adage of a

watched pot never boils a watch pressure cooker never

pressurizes I sees some action theres steam coming out of it still no movement on the pressure regulator

I'm the regulator I'm a regulate-late I don't want to regulate I want to

percolate you gotta start pressure regulating soon

pressure cooking is fun using a high heat setting on your stove he's the pressure

cooker until the pressure regulator attains a gentle rocking motion there's

no rocking in my ocean I don't like this so I thought this was gonna save me time I

thought it'd be like five minutes we're done what the fck is happening in

there the internet said maybe my heat wasn't hot enough so I turned it up it sounds very pressurized

I'm having fun are you guys having fun you think that's a gentle rock or are we a

little bit past the gentle rock five four three two one that was anticlimactic

turn the heat all the way off carefully lift there are two ways to cool down your pressure cooker and

the instructions will tell you which one to do you can either cool it immediately

by putting it into a cold water bath or putting it under cold water or you can

let the pressure come down naturally which is what this recipe said to do

so I'm gonna let that sit for a couple of minutes

and then I'm gonna come back so I think this is how we relieve the pressure

smells pretty good and open it up everything is very hot I'm gonna take out

my flavor bundle throw that away so we got our pressure cooker pot of chicken

stew and our pressure cooker chicken stew alright guys that's how you use a pressure cooker I'll probably get better at it as we go but

this is my first time so welcome to watching me do my first time live

all right let's taste this bad boy it's actually nice and flavorful it's

actually really tasty and it's cooked all the way through all the

vegetables are nice and soft the chicken is cooked all the way through it's hot

as the fires of hell cool I think this was a pressure cooker success

thanks for sharing my first time with me here guys if you enjoy pressure cooking with

me be sure to LIKE comment and subscribe alright guys now it's your turn

do you like pressure cooking and what's your favorite pressure cooker recipe

recipe let me know in the comments down below I'm gonna try all the recipes

because I work out this bad boy thank you so much for watching and being here

be sure to like comment and subscribe we'll see you next time this is actually

surprisingly good I'm surprised that it's good man we did good all right I'm

gonna go burn my face off while I shovel this in see you next time

President Trump BLASTS Democrats on DACA They Just Want to Talk - Duration: 2:31.

President Trump BLASTS Democrats on DACA: They Just Want to Talk and Take Money Away

from Military

The liberal mainstream media was set ablaze Thursday after President Trump reportedly

10 Freakiest Animal Mutations Ever - Duration: 5:48.

• What caused a bunch of cats to start growing wings?

How many different animals have been found with the wrong number of legs?

Here are 10 of the weirdest animal mutations – including a few that are actually kind

of cute.

10 – One-footed snake • Not having arms or legs is kind of a thing

for snakes.

It's kind of their whole image, with the slithering and coiling and stuff like that.

• But in 2009, a snake was discovered in China with a single, clawed foot.

• The woman who found it said the snake was in her home, using its claw to pull its

way along the wall.

• Understandably, the woman freaked out and beat it to death with her shoe.

• It's not unusual for snakes to mutate, but this isn't a common way for it to happen.

It's more common for them to grow a second head.

• But those snakes don't usually live long, because they tend to attack each other.

9 – Duck with four legs • Snakes aren't the only ones who can

have extra legs.

A duckling born south of London was also born with some extra equipment.

• As compared to his two-legged counterparts, the duckling known as Stumpy was born with

four legs – two of them a bit shorter than the others.

• If Stumpy were born like that in the wild, he likely wouldn't survive.

But on the duck farm he was born on, he grew up fine.

• He even found a girlfriend later on in life – though he ended up getting one of

his extra legs amputated.

8 – Earless bunny • Ears are the signature feature for rabbits,

kind of like snakes and not having legs.

So when a rabbit was born without ears, it definitely got peoples' attention.

• Even more so, considering it was born in the shadow of the Fukushima power plant,

and seems to be albino as well.

• Some believe the deformity is a result of prolonged exposure to nuclear radiation.

• However, rabbits are often born with deformities, and sometimes mother rabbits accidentally

chew off their babies' ears while trying to groom them as bunnies.

• So it might be a coincidence, too.

7 – Henry the hexapus • We have a snake with one extra leg, and

a duck with two extra legs.

But what about an octopus with two fewer legs?

• Well, then, that wouldn't really be an OCTOpus at all, would it?

So this is Henry the Hexapus.

• The Hexapus lives at an aquarium in northwest England.

His condition is a genetic deformity, so it's not like he's part of some new six-legged

species.

• There are no other known records of a "hexapus" existing, making Henry the only

one of his kind.

6 – Two-headed pig • A farmer in China went out to check on

the newborn piglets, when he saw one with three eyes, two noses, and two mouths.

• The piglet doesn't exactly have "two heads" in a precise sense.

It's more like one-and-a-half heads, connected in the middle.

• After news got out, people swarmed the farm to catch a glimpse of the "freak pig."

• One man even offered to buy it from him.

But the farmer refused to part with the piglet, and his son wants to raise it as a pet.

5 – Winged cat • Most of the time, if an animal has a deformity,

it's just born with it.

But apparently sometimes, cats just grow wings for no good reason.

• Over the course of a hot summer in Sichuan, China, several different cats started spouting

furry, wing-like growths on their backs.

• One cat's owner said the reason was because female cats just couldn't leave

him alone for mating purposes.

• Actual scientists say it's most likely a genetic mutation, or some sort of hereditary

skin condition.

4 – Dolphin with hind legs • Everything wants to grow extra legs!

In 2006, a dolphin was discovered with two sets of extra fins.

• While not exactly functional as "legs," the rear fins are a characteristic that may

call back to an ancestor of the dolphin that migrated to land.

• This is similar to the "werewolf gene" in humans – an evolutionary callback to

when humans had far more body hair.

• The dolphins "legs" are considered to be some of the most concrete proof of evolution

ever discovered.

3 – Cyclops shark embryo • The "Cyclops Shark" discovered in

2011 is so unusual-looking, the first actual news stories on it had to first confirm that

it was actually real.

• It looks like something from a movie, but it's actually a real shark embryo.

• The dusky shark that birthed this creature also grew nine perfectly normal, normally-developed

sharks.

• But this one lacked the normal grey color, and had only one, gigantic eye.

Unfortunately, the shark was unable to survive outside the womb as it was.

It's one of less than 50 known occasions of a cyclops shark ever recorded.

2 – Transparent frogs • A number of different frog mutations have

been observed in a central Russian town.

• Researchers collected 60 frogs from the area in 2016, all showing some kind of mutation.

Some had extra toes, or unusual shoulder growths.

• But nevermind those boring things.

They found frogs with TRANSPARENT SKIN.

• You can see these frogs' skeletons, organs, even their beating hearts, as if their

skin wasn't even there.

• But it IS there – it just has faulty pigmentation.

Scientists believe the cause of the mutations is pollution from a nearby chemical plant.

1 – Trunk-nosed puppy • In 2014, an Argentinian family welcomed

a new litter of 11 puppies.

Included in that litter was a puppy… with a trunk for a nose.

• The other 10 puppies were born completely normally, but this one ended up as a mix between

an elephant and Dobby the House Elf.

• In fact, the Dobby angle picked up quite a bit of publicity, to the point where the

family decided to call the dog Dobby.

• The puppy was struggling to breathe and eat normally at birth, and baffled vets didn't

expect him to survive more than 15 days.

• But the family was looking into ways to save Dobby, and there hasn't been any news

either way… so you can write your own ending to

the story.

AREA 51 SENSATION 'Whistleblower' says secret USAF - Duration: 5:26.

AREA 51 SENSATION 'Whistleblower' says secret USAF base has 'time-travelling Roswell UFO'

A "WHISTLEBLOWER" claiming to have worked inside the mysterious Area 51 US Air Force

base has extraordinarily said the Nevada facility DOES house UFOs recovered from visiting aliens.

by Jon Austin,

American Robert Miller recorded a sensational YouTube clip which he said he made to "clear

his conscience" as he is "getting old."

In the video, seen by more than 300,000 people, he said he was a former marine corps pilot

who was recruited to test fly a craft that had been "reverse engineered" from the remains

of a Roswell UFO that crashed in 1947.

The US Government did not acknowledge the existence of Area 51 until 2013, but it is

now commonly accepted research is done there on new USAF spy craft.

However, conspiracy theorists are convinced if flying saucers have ever crashed on Earth,

the wreckage and alien bodies have been secretly taken to storage in Area 51.

One long-running claim is a UFO which allegedly crashed in the New Mexico desert near Roswell

in July 1947 and it is now stored at Area 51.

Extraordinarily, Mr Miller suggested the craft could reach the "speed of light" and even

travelled through time, Dailystar.co.uk reports.

After explaining how he was sworn to secrecy, with "dire consequences" if he broke this,

he described the test flight, and a subsequent crash.

He said: "I do remember they brought me inside the craft and up to the pilots seat.

There was only room for one person in the giant craft.

I looked around the cockpit and only saw a seat.

No joystick, no steering wheel, no other controls.

There was, however, a helmet.

They told me the craft was controlled telepathically.

I was told to imagine the craft starting to float off the ground, but it didnt work.

"Instead I had to imagine that I was the craft, like part of it, and I began thinking of myself

floating off the ground and I felt the vibrations.

The next thing I knew I was in hospital.

A man in a black suit came in and explained to me what happened.

He said right before the craft hit the ground, it just went, boom, disappeared.

Then in the middle of the night, they heard a loud crashing noise outside, the craft had

crashed in the same spot.

The scientists had hypothesised that the craft had time-travelled.

The whistleblower said he had chosen to go against his secrecy agreement in the interest

of the truth.

He said: "If anything happens to me in the next few days, you will know why.

"The truth is more important than my safety right now.

I wanted get the truth out there, I have been living a lie a long, long time."

There was a mixed reaction to the video.

One viewer posted on YouTube: "I think he's telling the truth no doubt about it.

"It's about time the government come clean about UFOs that they are time machines from

the future and they are not from other planets."

Another said: "Absolutely believe you and you are a brave man for speaking out.

You made history and you will go down in the history books as the first known human to

pilot a UFO."

However, a third branded it fake.

Robby Combs posted: "Everything about this tape screams fake.

He is merely reciting things he has heard other people say."

Mr Miller is not the first alleged Area 51 worker to come forward with tales of UFOs.

In 1989 Bob Lazar alleged to be a mole with staggering claims about the facility.

Mr Lazar said he reverse engineered recovered crashed alien flying saucers to try to develop

their anti-gravity flying systems, at the mysterious base, which is guarded by armed

security.

He spoke of UFOs being hidden in hangars carved out of the mountain sides close to the Nevada

military base which is tucked away in the desert.

Mr Lazar's claims have divided the UFO community ever since, with many believing he a credible

whistleblower, while others say he is a fantasist who has been debunked.

Roswell has been at the heart of the UFO scene since the military sensationally announced

in a press release in July 1947 it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in

the desert nearby.

But the following day it retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force

air balloon.

Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed

craft", which along with the wreckage were then taken to Area 51.

Are natural disasters judgments from God? - Duration: 4:17.

Are natural disasters judgments from God?

All natural disasters are the result of sin

but no one natural disaster is the result of

any one person or one group of people's sin.

Let me explain.

The Bible begins by pointing out that we have the responsibility

to steward, take care of creation

and when we sin

our moral choices have an effect on creation.

In face in Genesis chapter 3 after Adam and Eve sin

God says "cursed is the ground because of you"

and he says this ground will now produce thorns and thistles

creation itself starts to change, nature shifts

because of Adam and Eve's sin

Now they didn't sin in any way that seemed to directly affect creation

they didn't litter. That wasn't their sin, they weren't polluting

but it seems as though our moral choices

actually spiritually pollute the environment.

Like it or not, the Bible teaches a narrative

that begins with a greater spiritual connection

between human morality and all of creation

than we may have realized

and so when we sin, whether we sin directly against the environment

or against one another, we are spiritually polluting the world in which we live

and all of creation groans and moans

and begins to misfire and behave in ways it was never intended to.

We need to own that rather than point a finger at God.

Our morality is the cause.

Jesus reinforces this is Luke chapter 13

when he's talking about sin and effects

and he points out that no one group of people

are the cause of their own disaster

when something goes wrong in someones life

we don't blame them for it but we all take responsibility.

It's not, do I blame them or do I blame God?

How about we actually accept responsibility ourselves collectively.

Jesus says in Luke 13 when he is told about a group of people

who were actually murdered by roman soldiers

in the middle of worshipping.

When they were offering their own animal sacrifices

He says in response to the people who are telling him about this

He says, "Do you think that these Galileans

were worse sinners than all of the other Galileans

because they suffered this way?

I tell you no."

Something terrible happens to a group of people

it's not because they are any worse

because their specific sin brought it upon themselves.

Now he does use this as a teaching moment. He goes on to say

"But unless you all repent, you too will all perish"

In other words, there is a greater judgement ahead that we will all face.

But this group, they were no worse than the rest of you.

Also he goes on to talk about a natural disaster

that was a human inspired evil, but a natural disaster

a tower falling down upon some people

He says "Do those 18 who died

when the tower in Siloam fell on them

do you think that they were more guilty

than all the others living in Jerusalem?

I tell you no.

But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

Jesus says, we cannot turn to the doctrine of karma

to try and explain the suffering of the world.

Karma is a theology that double victimizes the victim.

Once something has happened to someone that is terrible and hurtful

karma says, that's okay, they deserve it.

They've done something.

We might not know what it is, they might not know what it is

but they've done something to deserve this disaster.

That's karma and Jesus says no.

Grace always supersedes karma.

Now it raises the question, is it possible that in some scenarios

God might bring specific disaster

or difficulty into an individual's life

because of some sin that they have committed.

But that's another question.
