Does Christianity Brainwash the Vulnerable? - Duration: 3:25.

You know, it's not unusual for someone to become a Christian right after some very

difficult time in their life.

They're vulnerable, okay.

But of course, this leaves them open to the charge that a person who's vulnerable is more

open to being brainwashed, okay.

So let me respond to that for a moment.

What is vulnerability?

Vulnerability is a time in your life when, generally, the kind of circumstance we're

talking about, you feel a lot of pain, a lot of anguish, and it causes you to ask questions

about the world and look for answers to them in response to your anguish, okay.

Now, is it unusual for someone to look to God in a moment of anguish?

The answer is, "no."

Of course, this happens all the time, alright?

But, do you have any idea how many people become atheists in the same set of circumstances?

They lose a loved one, they encounter a terrible circumstance that assaults their life.

They are anguished, they are vulnerable, they are looking for answers, and the answer they

come up with is, "There is no God."

So some people during a time of anxiety and vulnerability see God as the answer to that,

and others, in the same set of circumstances, see no God as the answer.

Do you get the point I'm making here?

The fact that one is anguished and vulnerable is not itself is not the deciding factor of

whether what you believe is true or not, whether you've been brainwashed or not.

That is always determined by something else.

It's determined by the reasons.

Are there good reasons when you're vulnerable and anxious and experience a tragedy to be

driven to God as the only source of meaning and security.

The answer from where I sit is, "yes."

We give those reasons all the time.

And I could elucidate them time and time again.

Is there good reason if we go through anxiety, and discomfort, and hardship, and loss to

doubt the existence of God?

Well there I think you've got a problem.

Because if there is no God, then there are no tragedies.

No moral tragedies.

There are things that we don't like.

But how do we say that this is evil, or this is bad, or this is wrong, or it shouldn't

be that way if there is no God to determine the way the world actually should be?

So it turns out that this challenge that when you're anxious and go through a time of vulnerability

that's when you're really open to being brainwashed about God is an empty challenge because frankly,

it can go in either direction.

Ultimately, what matters for the issue of the soundness of our convictions are the reasons

that back them up, not the emotions that might drive them.

Facebook Messenger Bots, ManyChat, Growth Tools, Building A Landing Page, Video 6 - Duration: 16:51.

In this video, video 6, in my series on

how to create Facebook Messenger Bots

with ManyChat, I'm going to show you,

click by click, how you can create a

Landing Page from scratch. Come with

me, look over my shoulder and I will show

you how you too can build a Facebook

Messenger Bot to build your audience and

build your business. Hi my name is Sue

Ferreira from Wisdom To Wealth Mastery,

where I help you take all that Wisdom

you got up here, take it out to the world,

using primarily, video, but also

cutting-edge tools, because the two are

pretty much interlinked these days.

Certainly ManyChat is a cutting edge

tool, so let's head over now to my page,

ManyChat page and we will build

this Landing Page. In my last video, video

5, I went through this Landing Page and I

showed you how all the pages link

together, as in a regular funnel, but in

this video I'm going to recreate this

page and show you how I put it together.

Let's go first back to Growth Tools and

in Growth Tools, let us pick a new Growth

Tool, Growth Tool #12. As I said in

the previous video, the first thing I do

is change the name of this growth tool. I

edit it, so that when I go back, I will

know which Growth Tool I'm looking at.

For simplicity, I'm going to call this

Landing Page Growth Tool "Five Easy Ways

Copy", because I'm just going to rebuild a

page that I've already got. Now that

we've named our Landing Page Growth Tool

for this video, let's come down here and

in video 5, you'll probably remember that

I showed you the 4 stages of making a

funnel, within ManyChat. There are these

these funny words, "Initial State" to begin

with, which is the Landing Page, the

Submitted State, which is where you ask

your visitor to take action. Then, there

is the "action taken", they go to this page

with opt-in actions, where they can

download, I don't know, whatever you offer -

a free video series, a PDF, a

complimentary call and finally, we go to

Setup, where you can get your URL, for the

page, and then, you can use that URL in

any location, to take one of your

visitors, into the funnel. Over here on

the right,

is the generic Landing Page "Initial

State", that will always come up with any

new ManyChat Landing Page. You will

always find the same three blocks. You'll

have the "Headline Block", the "Short

Description" block and then, the button to

take your visitor to the next page. All

of this is customizable. If we come over

here, to the left-hand side, where we set

up all our actions, you can see

immediately, here it says "show

description". At the moment, we are showing

the Description. If you don't want to

have the Description, and you just want

to show the Headline, you can turn off

Description and hey presto, it has gone

and you now have just a Headline, and a

much simpler Landing Page. Let's turn

on the "Show Description" again. Next on

the list, you have an option to have the

button down here, either as a "Send To

Messenger" button or with a Checkbox, and

you can edit the text inside here easily.

I always keep it on "Send To Messenger",

because you're giving the message then,

that you are sending them to Messenger.

Below button type is the area where you

can edit colors and as you can see here,

at the moment, we have background that is

white. Here is the background - it is white.

The Headline is in black and the

description is in grey. This is totally

customizable. If you wanted the headline

to be in purple, it becomes purple. If you

wanted it orange it's orange as you

hover over each one of these options, you

will see a mixture of numbers and

letters come up. For those of you, who

understand hex codes, every color has a

hex code, a 6-figure code, associated with

it. One two three four five six and hex

codes are usually preceded by a # tag.

Usually you will have three colors, that

represent you and your branding. Those

three colors have a hex code and the

chances are you have those hex codes

down in a notepad somewhere. If you

haven't, I strongly suggest you take down

your hex colors, because if you're doing

any work with ManyChat or almost programs

on the web, you're going to repeatedly

look for those numbers. It's

handy to have them in a convenient place.

Here we can change the button back

ground from blue to white, and we can also

change the button -

large, medium or small. I'll be honest I

prefer to have the background blue,

because it's kind of a classic Facebook

color and I prefer to have the button

Large, because hey, why wouldn't you have a

large button? Although this is the

generic page you will always have when

you start a new Landing Page, in ManyChat,

you also have an option to add an

image. In my landing page that I'm

recreating for you right now, I had this

image, so I will add this image, and by

default, it appears above all of the text.

You now have the option to put it

above the description or below the

description. Personally I like it in

the middle, above the description, because

it balances out the picture.

To edit the text, click the usual little

"edit pencil" button and you can edit your

text. Now, we have our Headline Text.

To see how intuitive it is to change the

Description, obviously you click the

Description Edit button and change your

text. With those few quick clicks, I

already recreated the landing page of

the funnel, that I showed you in video 5,

where I am giving away a free PDF about

the "5 Easy Ways To Use Video". If I wish, I

can continue to edit the color or maybe

I'll make it a little bit more orange,

like it is on my original funnel.

Again, I can change the color of the

Description. Oh, I don't know what I'll do

this time. Maybe make it purple, at this

point. We can save our work and you'll

notice up here to the right, it is still

in Draft Mode. That's the Initial Stage

of our Landing Page done. Once your

visitor clicks "Send To Messenger, they

will go to the second page, which is the

Submitted State. If you want to change

the color of your text, I would first of

all, click the Edit here, highlight your

text and go to - I think I'll have an orange

color or something like that down here

and the same for here. Let's just change

it, so when we make our background white,

we have - Here's our Description - when we

make our background white, we can see

everything.

Now we can come to "Background" and create

a white background. Once again, in the

funnel that I already created, I had an

image on this page, so let me pick out

this image, where we're going into a

bigger world, add it - I'm going to put it

above the Description, but below the

Headline. I'm changing the text to the

text I had on my funnel, and I'm going to

"Save". I'm going to make it a little bit

more customized. I'm also going to

change the Description. Keep your text

short, keep it to the point make it very

very clear what you're offering and

remember, to make it flow, from one to the

other. Finally, I'm going to edit my

button at the bottom here. I've changed

the text and I'm going to change the

color of the background to match the

water color in the goldfish bowl. "Save"

this page and move on to the "Opt-in

Actions" to edit my opt-in message. Pretty

obvious again, come down here to edit and

copy and paste. When creating and testing

your Messenger but within ManyChat, it

will always pick up your own name from

Facebook, but when a visitor comes into

your bot, Facebook and ManyChat will

pick up the visitors First Name and will

put it in here. You have a drop-down

menu, where you can decide what names you

want to appear. Most folks will just

stick with First Name, but you can have

just a Surname. You can have their Full

Name put in, You could have a Page Name,

Page ID and Email. These are all of your

options, that you can use to put into the

place of collecting a name and

personalizing the message. I'm going

to take it back to First Name. If for

some reason, Facebook can't pick up the

First Name, then ManyChat offers you an

option of a fallback, so let's put in

"There", so instead of saying "Hi Sue", it

would now say "Hi There". You can use and

change emojis. The emoji button is

here and you can decide which emoji you

want to put in. We'll put in

another one - this little person gives you

the same drop-down menu, as you would

have up here. Remember I told you you're

limited in the size of the message you

can create within ManyChat. This

number "403" tells me I've only got

403 characters left to use,

before I'm not allowed to put any more

information into this ManyChat message.

As you add extra characters, you will

find the message numbers go down. I just

put in a couple of spaces, because spaces

count too, so back to 403. Watch that

number and think about your message. I'm

going to add a button now, that says

"Download PDF" and again you are very

limited in your button titles, as to the

number of characters you can put in. You

can see already, I've only got eight left.

so you have to be very circumspect.

Again, if you want to, you can add emojis.

I've got room for an emoji, so I will add

an emoji and now I only have 6 added

characters, that I could put into this

button. Another great feature of

ManyChat is now, you can see that I've got a

little red circle here and I've got the

red warning triangle up here. If at any

point, you haven't completed an action

ManyChat will let you know, by either a

red circle or a little red triangle.

As you approach the red triangle, a

pop-up will come up and tell you what

you haven't completed. It is telling

me that I have to specify a Reply

Message for the button. In other words,

I've just put in the title, but I haven't

put in an action. It also lets you

know over here, because it's got a red

circle around and again it'll say "please

specify a reply message for the button".

This is a great feature, because it keeps

you on track. I'm going to click here and

I'm going to get an option of sending a

message, opening a website. I could get

someone to call me. I can go to another

flow or I can select an existing step

that I've already got in the content. My

PDF is saved as a URL, so I'm going to

"open website. I have the URL. I am going

to paste it into here. The button has

changed to green and it tells me I have

a link. I'm going to an add an action

and this is where you can segment or

identify someone with a tag.

I'm going to add a tag. It says "enter tag". I

already have a whole lot of tags in here

so I click "5 Easy Ways PDF" and I am

done. I've added a question, as well in my

text up here, so let us add Yes/No boxes

below. "Add a button" once more. If I

just leave this, and I don't complete it

up comes ManyChat, with my little

warnings and I need to complete this box.

This time, I'm going to send a message.

I'm going to add my text and we're

beginning to engage a conversation. I'm

not going to take it any further in this

video, but now you can begin to engage in

a conversation. Now I have a button

"Yes, I use video" and a reply, but I also

want to have a new button. I will say

"No, Not Yet". If I click "Done", I would again

get the message to say hey "complete this

action", so I go back into the action.

Again I'm going to send a message and my

message is "No worries, most people aren't!"

We go back to the opt-in

message and now everything is okay.

ManyChat is happy with me, no little red

warning lights. In my previous video, I

talked about Flow Tools and there are

two ways, you can create and build out

this message. You can either do it here

in the Basic Builder or you will find

already - we now have go to Flow Builder

up here. If I click to go to Flow Builder,

you can see, while I was creating this in

the Basic Builder, in the Flow Builder,

ManyChat is building out my Mind Map.

You can click and drag these into

any position. It looks as though here,

I have added a message without linking

it to anything, so I can get rid of that.

I can bring this back into place and

now I can see how I'm building out my

message. Let's go back to Basic

Builder and see what else we can do here.

No doubt, you've been seeing all of these

different icons that are below the

message. I have been creating a simple

message, but if you wanted to, you could

add extra text, an image, a card, a gallery -

now, this is kind of neat, because you can

add a series of images and have your

visitor scroll through them, make a

decision on them. This arrow allows you

to move this particular action within

the

whole message. You could put it to the

top, if you wish to ,and obviously the "X"

shows you at any point, you can get rid

of any of these images. You can also add

a list, audio. Adding a video is very

handy. Within ManyChat, I could attach a

file and have a direct download. You

could add a delay and vary the time so

it looks like you are typing. The

default is set for 3 seconds but I could

make it look as though you were typing

for 5 seconds. Once again, ManyChat

gives me a little warning message,

because if I'm going to be looking as

though I'm typing for 5 seconds, I'd

better have a reply afterwards. My

reply can either be a quick reply here

or it could be any one of these

additions, or I can continue to another

step and choose the next step, if I wish

to very, very flexible. I'm going to

delete this option and leave it simple.

I'm going to delete that bit of the

message.

Everything looks set, let us click

"Preview", preview message sent. Check your

Messenger. This message was sent to you

only, so now let's go to my Messenger and

hey presto, here is the message that I

have just sent to myself. We now know the

bot is working, so it's ready to go

public. Remember down here, with the 3

little blue lines always is your Main

Menu, your Main Menu items, where you are

showcasing your offers and further

engaging your audience. Going back now to

our page, we can click "Publish" and our

content is now published. We have

completed creating our Facebook

Messenger, a Landing Page within

ManyChat. One final, but very important step -

don't forget this one!!

Go right back to the beginning of your

bot. At the moment, our Landing Page

Messenger Bot is still only in "Draft

Mode". We may have published it, but it's

still only in "Draft Mode". We want to make

it "Active" and we are ready to go. We now

go to "Setup". Bere is our URL that we can

copy and remember, we can put this URL

anywhere in a blog, on your website. I can

paste this URL in anywhere and up will

come the Landing Page of our Messenger

Bot. There you are a Landing Page funnel

created so quickly and so simply. in a

very short time. If you liked this video,

please click the "Like" button below and

leave a comment. Leave a comment or any

question you have about building a

Landing Page funnel in ManyChat and

subscribe to my YouTube channel, because

then you'll get automatic advance

notification of when my next video about

ManyChat is coming up and Share this

video, because there are an awful lot of

people, who are beginning to realize that

messenger BOTS are a pretty neat thing

to use. to grow your audience and start

conversations with people who are

interested in what you're doing. To get

my Free Guide on how you can also build

your Main Menu in ManyChat, look in the

description below, because the link to

that guide is in the description

and it literally, like this, takes you

click by click, on how you can build a

Main Menu. In video 7, I'm going to show

you my favorite feature of ManyChat,

which is how to use Keywords, within a

Facebook post, so you can engage

people directly from a Facebook post,

into your Facebook Messenger, begin

to have conversations with them and

build a relationship.

See you in video 7. Bye for now

The Eiffel Tower: What's the point? - Duration: 3:54.

OK Cherubs, this is the eiffel tower.

You've seen it before, but right now I want you to imagine that you haven't.

It's difficult, I know.

This structure has been a part of our cultural consciousness for long time, and it's a

visual synonym for its city and even its country.

But let's go back to before 1889, before the Universal Exhibit that debuted this structure

and look at it with fresh eyes.

To do this effectively we'll have to imagine ourselves in the epicenter of Impressionism;

in a city that prides itself on its artistic talent-- that sees itself as a center of Culture.

And then, in this city of culture, and color and movement… this begins to rise.

A metal behemoth- an expression of Industrialism.

Gustave Eiffel wasn't a sculptor or even an architect- he was an engineer; a bridge

builder, and in a lot of ways this looks like a bridge going straight up to the sky for

no reason.

If we keep our mental exercise going and view this through the lens of a city in love with

its own image as an artistic hub, this is ugly.

It's nuts and bolts.

It looks like a railway, or Erector set lighthouse.

It's no wonder it had so many critics.

My favorite, by the way, is Guy de Maupassant who said that the French should, in some future

riot, "unbolt this tall, skinny pyramid of iron ladders, this giant and disgraceful

skeleton with a base that seems made to support a formadiable monument of cyclops and which

aborts to into the thin, ridiculous profile of a factory chimney".

So good.

That dude knew how to throw an insult.

A less poetic critique of the tower was simply, "What's the point?"

If it's not pretty and it's not functional, then… why?

And, honestly, that's a pretty good criticism.

Eiffel's bridges were beautiful in part because they were useful, but this was impressive

engineering for the sake of engineering.

A lot people just didn't get it.

But here's the thing: If we're going to look at this with fresh eyes, we also need

to imagine ourselves in a world where the Washington Monument is the world's tallest

building.

With those eyes, this is nearly twice as tall as the tallest man made structure in the world.

Whatever your aesthetic apprehensions may be, that's cool- And it was cool.

It inspired awe in people.

So is that the point?

Is that enough of a point to justify the visual space it takes up, the amount of resources

and man hours it used?

Those critics who felt as though feats of engineering need to have a practical goal

still lined up to see the city from that height.

The pursuit of the seemingly useless inspired wonder, even in the naysayers, and that wonder

could be a purpose in itself.

So yeah, maybe that wow factor can be the point.

Maybe it does justify itself.

Just like the moon landing inspired young future scientists, this, no doubt this inspired

more than a few minds.

Additionally in order to reach this height, innumerable engineering problems that had

never been confronted before had to be overcome.

No elevator, for example, had ever traveled at an angle quite like this and under these

constraints.

The precision to have these four legs come to a completely level first landing, and other

similar tasks resulted in engineers developing new techniques.

Eiffel didn't wait for a practical circumstance to confront these problems, he sought them

out with this project and solved them with his team preemptively.

So, in order to achieve new heights of knowledge, that pun is both intended and I understand

boring, the people of Paris were asked to withhold their apprehensions and concerns

for a brief time.

As a result, the world realized that the awe, inspiration, and curiousity a painting can

inspire can also be found in piece of innovative engineering- That the imagination of an engineer

is no less spectacular than a sculptor.

The tower was only supposed to occupy this space for twenty years, but this lesson has

proved more durable than that, and it's good to remind ourselves of this from time

to time by looking at this with fresh eyes.

If you liked this video and feel I've earned it, please subscribe.

I put out a new video every month.

Thanks for watching.

Jaki olej silnikowy wybrać? (Choosing Engine Oil - ENG subs) - Duration: 15:58.

M: Let's start with engine oils, so this is going to be "Damian - oils".

M: So maybe I'll introduce us first. This is Damian. I'm Marek, You may remember him from a TVN car show...

M: I have an old viewer, who remembers. As me to say hi. D: Thanks. Six years.

M: So there are viewers old enough to know you from TV, not just from the Internet. D: Old host, old viewer...

M: Damian is now active online. He's got a blog, a vlog, I'll link it all down below.

M: And today we're going to be talking about engine oils. This topic keeps popping up in the comments.

All I know about oil is that you need it to lubricate the engine, BUT...

M: ...sorry for the long intro, I also know there should be sticker telling you what oil to pour and when to change it, if there's no sticker there should be an owner's manual, and if there's no manual there's Internet...

D: There's no manual. We're in trouble already.

M: Right. I a few years ago I was on a road trip in a car, which took oil. And no, it was not a VAG car this time.

M: On the way the oil light came on, so I stopped at a gas station. This was some time ago, so mobile Internet was not a thing yet, and even if you managed to find an oil manufacturer's website, all you would get from it was their fax number.

M: So I'm at this gas station, and all they have is WD40... No, that's not an oil... D: Close. W40. SomethingW40.

M: Yes, what the hell does that even mean? Which oil should I pour?

D: Generally speaking, if there's an emergency, and there's no oil, use any engine oil. Doesn't matter if it's for petrol, diesel, tractor.

D: If there's a litre missing from a four litre pan, you're adding 25%. It's better to have anything to get you to a repair shop, than to have nothing. M: It was a Sunday, so there was nothing I could do.

D: It's enough to get you to a service station, change the oil, oil filter, and the engine's fine. Sure, you have to take it easy on the way to the service station, but you can drive for a 100-200 km, and you're not going to damage DPF, catalytic converter...

D: And if there's no emergency, you have to pour whatever manufacturer recommends. I wouldn't focus on the recommended brand, because I know viewers, listeners, readers have their favourite brands, there's a niche oil brand fad as well, because corporations are trying to crew everyone... :)

M: I know, Mazda people like to put Enos or something... D: Eneos. Good oil. Japanese.

D: So you don't need to stick to a particular brand, but norms are important. Every car manufacturer specifies oil viscosity grade like 10W40, but also has to meet the manufacturer's norm. Ford has its norms, Renault has its norms, VW has its norms...

D: We could start going to to viscosity grade here. I'll use VW group, because it's a good example. VW group recommends one oil for all its engines. 5W30. Viscosity grade. Not viscosity.

D: All current engines in VW group, except for 1.0 MPI in Citigo/Mii/up! can be serviced under the long-life regime, at least in Europe, because in Russia long-life is not allowed.

D: So the oil has to meet VW norm 50400 50700. That's it. M: Where will I find this information?

D: It says so on every oil bottle. Oil manufacturers like Poland's own Orlen start putting brand-dedicated stickers on their oil. M: So something's changed since my low-oil incident.

M: The guy at the petrol station told to me to pour anything, because he knows jack... D: And he was right. Pour anything to get you to the service station in an emergency situation.

D: Can we change viscosity? M: Viscosity, and then you mentioned something about oil for diesel and petrol engines...

D: Oil for modern diesel engines are low saps oil. Many people think this means there is less ash in the oil.... M: So it won't clog DPF?

D: No, it won't. But it's not to do with ash IN the oil, but with the amount of saps remaining after combustion in the engine. So yes, DPF will live longer.

D: It's not soot, it's saps. Saps clog your DPF permanently. Soot is combusted, but saps clog it for good. And now, half a percent difference in saps index can even double your DPF life. So the difference is significant.

M: OK, what if we pour diesel low saps oil into a petrol engine? Until now they do not have additional filters, now they will have GPF, but let's focus on the ones, which still don't have it.

D: It has slightly different additives. Why would you do it in the first place? M: One of my viewers said his authorised service wanted to put diesel oil into his petrol engine. I didn't know what to tell him, except for "stick to manufacturer's specification". D: And that's the right answer.

D: All manufacturers these days recommend using synthetic oils. This also stirs heated debates on forums. Some claim synthetic oil can only be ester-based or PAO. But hydrocracked oil is not a synthetic oil, they say. It's a scam by big corporations :) Because hydrocracked oil is a mineral base processed under high pressure...

M: Are you telling me there are people out there, who...? D: Yes, there are. And they think hydrocracked oil is bad.

D: Of course, it's BS. Hydrocracked oil is also high quality. An ester-based oil needs minerals too for the additives to dissolve. Ester-based oils are better for transmissions, than engines. And there's also GTL technology. Shell produces its oil bases like this. They are pure, and stable at different temperatures. In the end everything is made from petroleum.

D: So if someone says hydrocracked oil is a scam, because it's made of petroleum, and PAO is not, because it's made of... It's also made of pertoleum. It's like saying if you eat potatoes, it's like drinking vodka, because vodka is made from potatoes.

M: Interesting example. Let's go back to long-life, which you mentined a couple of minutes ago. It's another "consipracy". As far as I understand long-life, correct me if I'm wrong, the car computer has certain preset parameters, and it knows oil needs to be changed, when certain conditions are met. Like how the car is used, how many kilometres it drove...

D: I don't know the exact procedures for particular car manufacturers. This could be the number of times a car starts. M: It's a different story with car driving up and down a motorway, and a different story with a car driving in heavy city traffic.

D: Right. A mom car dropping kids to school, shopping, etc. 3 km, stop, 3 km, stop.

M: Theoretically two cars can have similar milage... D: In one the computer tells you to change the oil after 15k km. M: And in the other you can do 30k km, before chage oil light message is displayed.

D: Important thing about long-life is that you don't have to drive with the same oil until the computer tells you to change it. M: Sure, if I want to change oil after 10k km, I can do it.

D: Nobody's going to stop a rich man from burning money in a fireplace. M: The computer thinks it's not time to change yet. D: Long-life is about driving for UP TO 30k km without changing oil. It depends on how the car is used.

D: Someone's going to tell us in the comments what they think about it. But let's take trucks as an example.

D: MAN has this engine, which is used in all sorts of trucks. The same engine powers trucks used on construction sites, doing logistics deliveries within a city, driving between cities, or doing transcontinental deliveries.

D: The truck doing transcontinental duty can have oil changed every 100k km. But the construction site truck needs an oil change every 6k km. Oil is the same. Engine is the same. Utilisation is different. And that's the whole secret.

D: If someone wants to change oil more often, nobody's going to stop him. But remember in Poland we have about 18m registered and insured cars on the road. Let's assume each of these cars takes 4 litres of oil. We can the oil in all of these once a year, or once every two years.

D: So 18m x 4 and you see how much oil needs to be changed... M: And all this oil then needs to be utilised. D: Which is a burden to the environment. I know oil tankers are even worse, and volcanos are also terrible... M: And recycling a good car is even worse.

D: We're all fed up with smog, because people burn old tyres to heat their houses during winter, but when it comes to cars we don't care, and we get rid of DPFs to cut running costs. DPF was invented by idiots ecologists, but we'll replace engine oil every 10k km. Who cares millions of litres have to be utilised.

D: As far as long life is concerned, thinking is not a stupid idea.

M: I think wel'll wrap up here. D: I could talk for hours about engine oil. M: I'm sure there will be questions, and we'll get back to this topic.

D: We'll talk viscosity, additives, temperatures... M: I'm sure we will :)

M: For now change the oil for whatever your car manufacturer tells you. D: Check for information about heavy-duty use. Driving a lot on short distances could be considered heavy-duty use.

M: So whatever manufacturer tells you, whenever computer tells you to, or more often if you like... D: And accrding to the manufacturer's norm. Doesn't matter, what brand. If an oil meets the manufacturer's norm, it underwent very rigorus, very expensive tests.

D: If you like niche brands, go with niche brands, if you like big corporations, which some of you think are screwing you over... M: Except for Polish corporations. They never screw us over.

M: This was Damian Śmigielski, who told you about engine oils. We'll get back to this topic in the future. D: And this was Marek Wieruszewski... M: ...who mostly listened. Trying to learn something.

M: We'll also talk to Damian in future episodes about other interesting car-related stuff. See you next time.

BE AWARE HOW SOME ALTERNATIVE NEWS OUTLETS ARE HINDERING TRUTH - Duration: 11:14.

BE AWARE HOW SOME ALTERNATIVE NEWS OUTLETS ARE HINDERING TRUTH

We sit at one of the most important times for media ever. With the mainstream media

being called Fake News by the POTUS and with alternative media outlets getting

so much attention from people around the world, things are changing a lot.

Furthermore, almost anyone can start a media outlet these days and begin sharing their

thoughts and opinions about something all while gaining a great audience. This is extremely

empowering and helps to get information out of the hands of those who have historically

manipulated it.

But, this also means that its easy to jump online and start creating and distributing

content without ever looking into the truth. In fact, that option has always been there,

but the access is even easier.

This means as users we must be discerning with what we read and consume. We always needed

to be this way to be honest, but now it goes much further. This also leads to an important

fact about our time, its time for each of us to take full responsibility for ourselves,

our lives, actions and move towards not being reliant on governance.

The challenge we face is some alternative outlets are producing fake stories that relate

to very real topics which are true and need further reporting, but by producing fake viral

headlines, they are making the subject look entirely false after a website like Snopes

debunks it. While Snopes should also not be considered a credible source due to their

alliance with mainstream thinking, it doesnt mean everything they debunk is actually true.

This whole process of producing false news narratives effectively makes people doubt

subjects like ETs, UFOs, government coverups, Wikileaks, the deep state etc.

The truth is, there are enough REAL alternative news stories out there to never have to make

one up or produce fake stuff, so why do it? Hard work and time is all that comes to mind

right now. It takes time and a team of people to produce factual content that is properly

researched.

On the other hand, there are topics that are not yet easy to prove, but are very much worth

looking at. Like for example the ET reality. We cannot confirm with absolute certainty

that a specific alien being exists for example, but a journalist can show pictures, provide

quotes from eye witnesses, whistleblowers and so forth and write the story in a manner

that asks the reader to question and see what resonates. This is how we would produce a

story with not yet verifiable facts.

Sometimes we say truth is subjective, but I dont tend to agree with this. Events

play out, and when they do we can color it in any way we choose. That doesnt change

what played out as an event however. You see, we have been making excuses for why our emotions,

bias and so forth get in the way of seeing the world clearly. This is an ego tactic built

into the human ego that keeps us from letting go of old ideas, patterns, habits and identifications.

For example, we often get stuck looking at everything from a particular political slant.

We dont want to go back on what we may have previously believed in the past. Then

we turn around and say thats my truth but we full well know we are coloring that

with our political slant.

Given this understanding, we have built Collective Evolutions media strategy to look at events

for what they are. We examine as much evidence as possible and then release our stories.

This doesnt mean were perfect and never have bias, but you wont get a political

position because we dont take them nor buy into them. You wont get the mainstream

controlled version of a story because it cuts out many aspects of what happened in order

to paint a specific picture. From us, you will get a bigger picture perspective, what

we can reflect on and how we can learn and grow from what is playing out in our world.

Its media that cares about truth and the viewer -conscious media.

We Need To Identify & Stop Sharing Now back to content.

One of the challenges we face with the ease of making a living as a media outlet online

is that sometimes websites will choose to copy and paste content from other sites or

simply write content based on bogus facts because it will bring traffic, i.e. revenue.

Not all do this in all cases, but its important to discern and fact check as a viewer, and

of course, read the article, not just the headline.

A viewer may see a headline and it may sound fake. For example The Mind Control Tactics

Used By Facebook They Know More About You Than You Think, but its not. We are

often simply used to seeing certain topics in the mainstream and this would not be one

of them, so it sounds more outlandish but it is very real.

The key again is, if something catches your eye as a headline, read, discern, use your

intuition and do some more research if need be. Many topics can usually be verified in

about 1 2 minutes.

Looking at this article by Neon Nettle, a site that often posts false stories amongst

true ones, you have Putin: Pope Francis Works for Satan The quote inside the article

is backed by another website called Antonius Aquinas. This site then backs its quote to

a website called YourNewsWire who does not source where the quote is from.

Its easy to verify quite quickly that even if this story were somehow true, we have no

way to verify it because there is no source on the quote at all. This doesnt make something

fake 100% of the time, but it begins to beg the purpose of even writing stories like this.

Lets take this one for example. This headline is from YourNewsWire again: Clint Eastwood:

Obama Worst President In Our History; He Looted America

The claim is that Clint Eastwood made this statement about Obama, yet a simple Google

search tells you that this isnt true. Despite the fact that its not true, many people

sharing this content simply base its truth on headlines. This might be the most prominent

trend emerging on the internet today, and one that is spreading so much false information.

Perhaps there is truth to the idea that Obama may have looted America or that the decisions

of his administration spent so much on war, and killed many innocent people etc. But going

about the topic in this manner, doesnt bring credibility to it. It seems to encourage

people to turn away from alternative news.

Once again, clearly a subject that can be checked within moments via basic searching.

In a CE podcast episode on the topic of Fake News, I brought up examples like this from

these two sites and it began a public conversation about fake news with one of the founders of

YourNewsWire (YNW), Sean Adl-Tabatabai. It was never my intention to challenge or damage

the reputation of YNW as the conversation on the podcast was very much neutral, it simply

asked people to question. Instead, the intention was to encourage a cleaning up of the content,

not just for the alternative media movement but for people in general. Why produce news

and information without the proper due diligence?

During the conversation I asked the question:

ME: Do you agree or not agree that your website sometimes posts fake news? If so,

do you knowingly do it?

The response I received was

YNW: No. Fake news to me is something that the publisher/author knowingly puts out.

Now I understand that during the course of the conversation it would be easy for Sean

to become defensive or upset at what was occurring. In his eyes, he felt as though his site was

being called a fake news site, which isnt entirely true, and he wanted to defend the

reputation. So let me be clear here. I dont believe any of the sites I have mentioned

produce 100% fake news. Perhaps that is the view Snopes intends to create for them, but

it was not covered this way by us. Instead, I know this site produces some stories which

are false. And people share them like crazy. Does YNW know they are producing false stories?

Perhaps. They didnt seem to think so. But the very answer I received above indicated

that its easier for the organization to state that their stories are not fake news

because the writer doesnt take the time to research them.

Hence why my passion for news and information led me to want to say something to help improve

the overall site. Which I made quite clear in the podcast and our conversation. Sean

Im with you on this. This is why I intend on holding others accountable in the same

way other people have held CE accountable years ago. Some of these subjects are true,

but it is meaningless and harmful to the overall movement to post stuff that is so obviously

fake. And perhaps you dont have a final check system where someone can check things

over, if not, add one in. Blacklist certain authors so that their content cant go straight

out before being checked. If you post stories that are truthful and then a bunch that are

fake, why post the fake ones?

What We Can Do & Final Thoughts Quite simply. Read content. Dont simply

share it or feel like you can determine a whole story from a headline. This is important.

Check into the sources of quotes, facts or other things mentioned in an article. Just

because you see a link doesnt mean its even going to a a credible source.

As users, its time to take control of media by keeping them accountable. The mainstream

media misleads people or covers up information as much as alternative new does sometimes.

This can be a tough pill to swallow and it may not be a popular subject. In fact, I feel

people may get upset at me for simply writing an article like this. But thats not on

me. This is an important subject for us all to reflect on and the time has come to do

it.

Check out our podcast on The Rise of Fake News and what that actually all means. Why

was the term created? How is the mainstream media using is? Is it backfiring on the MSM?

Will it help to clean up alt news?

MMM - S02E02 - Refugee Students - Duration: 2:55.

Hey there, folks! It's me, Michael Bach, your Diversity Dude,

and it's time for another episode of Monday Morning Musings.

I wanted to talk about something that I heard on CBC.

Mary Wiens did a series that I listened to a couple weeks ago over the holidays,

and it was really, I don't know if inspiring's the right word, but it really was...

it just made me feel this is what it means to be Canadian.

And it was a series that followed students in a pilot program at York University here in Ontario,

and it took students, ten students, who were... their immigration status was precarious.

So they were refugees, they were on temporary visas, and it put these students into university programs.

And for me, what was really, you know, inspiring about this story, I guess I'll use that word,

is it was how we as Canadians...

Education is so important, right?

It's so critical to long-term success for an individual, and I'm not talking just university,

I'm talking college, I'm talking high school, any sort of education, learning...

So critical for a long-term success, and it was just so Canadian to be able to take these ten kids who, frankly,

normally wouldn't have gotten into as good a school as York University,

and been able to potentially get a degree in any number of things,

they were doing all sorts of different degrees.

But what it means is that these people will have, first of all, a stronger path

towards permanent residency and citizenship, but also have a longer future in terms of their employment,

and it breaks the cycle of poverty.

These are families that are living very much on the edge and it will help to break that cycle of poverty.

So I'm going to post a link to the series down below.

I'd encourage you to listen to it.

You know, they're a few minutes long, there's a few of them.

Just a great series by CBC and I really take my hat off to York University for doing it.

That's it for me.

I hope you're having a fabulous week.

I will post a link to subscribe to my channel.

Please do.

And I will see you next week for another episode of Monday Morning Musings.

Bye!
