I love to do many different types of meditations

medication in general is just an incredible tool for me

to just really calm my mind and help me go deep inside myself

and I feel like meditation I think just keeps leading you down into a deeper and deeper

path to get to know the self

You really begin to create a relationship to what the self is

I use crystals throughout my daily life and throughout my house and even in my skincare line

so crystals have been used for thousands of years

they have incredible benefits

I think each one has their own resonates

yes opening the intuition and I think it's a great creative stone

just cause it's more of a visionary stone

I feel like clear quartz always have this way of really setting a tone of positivity

higher vibrations

When people are coming through my front door

It's just great to kinda clear the energy and set the intention of positivity before

they work in the door

and that's why I really like having the clear quartz in the front

Another important part of my daily routine is the use of aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils.

Different essential oils

are super helpful for your general state of well-being

one of my favorite aromatherapy to use

is this little heart chakra aromatherapy blend

This oil was actually created for me by my aromatherapist

when I was going through a challenging time in my life

it really helped transformed that negativity that I was feeling at the time

and I carry it with me all the time now

in my handbag

and I put it on throughout the day

all my pulse points so

I put it on my wrist here

and I put it behind my ears

and I put it on in my actual heart chakra

and I find it that it really helps

and it's little things like this that you find

that really can work for you

It's a supercharged blend for aromatherapy oil

and these oils really help support your heart chakra and your general well-being

Next is the use of positive affirmations

We have the power over our mind and if we choose positive thoughts then we can uplift

ourselves

and we can uplift those around us

I'm such a big believer that I've written two books, actually for young women

Treasure Yourself and Empower Yourself

with that I've made these little positive affirmation cards

so, I can keep these little affirmation card next my bed at night

and so when I wake up in the morning, I pick them up and I shuffle them

Then I just randomly pick a card

I'm the creator of my life nothing happens by chance

Every thought

Every action has a reaction

I choose my words and thoughts carefully

as they create my world

so there you go

just as what I was talking about

so sometime's I'll even right a positive affirmation on my mirror

just as a little reminder

one of my favorite messages is

actually a positive message from my mother

and that is "Shine Your Light"

Shine your light

Finally I like to trade screen time for green time

so sometimes if I'm feeling overwhelmed or exhausted

I'll simply walk outside and put my feet in the grass

and it really helps energize and ground me

It connects me to nature and really helps me be in the present moment

It's a simple and effective tool

buyer's agent and realized that yeah I have emotions I want to buy this old I'm

like oh I gotta head this home and all that did for me was affected me because

back with the terms I thought I got upset and it just I got frustrated and I

think that showing my negotiate you know what I should have done is that sure

they had somebody in the middle you know leave emotion out of it

someone comes in at 50 thousand less than what they want they get frustrated

and I'm the person that's gonna say guys great here listen this is just a start

wasn't a number I was expected to come back and I had somebody you know beat

Uncanny Avengers #30 Review - Duration: 3:06.

Wonder Man floats down on the Scarlet Witch sitting on a park bench.

The time apart has made them a bit distant to each other, and Wanda was forced to move

on.

The news hurts Simon, and though he understands, needs some time alone to think about it all.

Meanwhile, Human Torch and Rogue fly above the city while Johnny navigates his new life

as a billionaire.

He decided to do good things with it, creating fundraising arms and non-profits.

But one final gift to the team was that he bought back Avengers Mansion.

Rogue is overjoyed and almost burns herself in the wake of the news.

Speaking of awake, Synapse wakes up on the mend in the Inhuman hospital.

An unlikely friend, Hellion, stops by to visit and hands her a letter.

She reads it and discovers that Quicksilver has left the team to find himself - although

clearly very sorry for his actions that put her in the hospital in the first place.

Wanda uses her powers to check on her brother, and delivers the news to Dr. Voodoo that he's

well.

But he's not the only one in need of self reflection.

She plants a big kiss on him.

Jericho has often been one to focus on his inner self.

Perhaps it's time he navigated that path with a friend.

And across town, Rogue does the unthinkable.

She testifies in defense of the Shocker - a lifelong criminal who showed during recent

events, he deserves a second chance.

She heads back to Avengers Mansion and Wasp informs her she has a visitor.

Captain America has returned once again to visit his old teammates, and although in the

midst of his redemption tour, feels the need to highlight Rogue's accomplishments.

She stops short of accepting his offer to rejoin the Avengers though.

With that, the group shares one more hug in front of the old founders statue and the Uncanny

Avengers comes to a bittersweet and uneventful end.

So this is the final issue of a book that, in all fairness, had stumbled a bit coming

off Gerry Duggan's run.

Either way, it was still good.

Although this isn't the first time that Avengers and X-Men have teamed up for the

longterm, this particular group of them worked well together.

Going forward, Avengers becomes a weekly series.

Now, I've read weekly books in the past and I have to say, a lot of times it's not

as awesome as you'd think.

It's been a long time and I'm gonna give it a shot, but full price for a weekly book

is less than a little unfair.

Either way, we'll burn that bridge when we get there.

For this particular issue, and for this series finale, I give it a 9/10.

Today we are going to talk about what has happened and things that are going to happen in 2018

There are a lot of exciting things going on

and we are also going to show you some nice things of course, welcome!

We have had calm and cosy days together with friends and family

But now Christmas is over and the three wise men have found the stable

But it is actually now that we can start to live the Christmas announcement about light, love and peace

The three wise men followed the star but they also followed their hearts

because they did not go back to Herod but took another way home

We can also listen to our hearts and choose which path we want to take through life

How do we want to treat ourselves and each other?

Christmas also shows us that it is in the small things that we can find true greatness

Each day, I am so happy that I can wake up beside Dennis

I am grateful that we can have coffee together and that we can listen to the waves down by the beach

It is also so nice that we can sit together and knit

I am getting along fine with my Wiola cardigan but I have mostly been busy with my new pattern

It is a mitten that I call "Roses are red, violets are blue" and the pattern will soon be released

But for now it is still a bit of a secret

I have also finished another pair of my sockpattern Catch a Falling Star

I am so happy that you like my socks and that you are knitting so many nice pairs!

I have made myself a pair of knee highs

I always wear dresses so it is a good thing with knee highs in the winter to keep warm

Dennis Riddari is almost finished and so is Ellas in grey and blue

A year ago, neither Ella nor Dennis was knitting and now they have accomplished so much

Now we knit together every day, all three of us

but working as we do it is also hard to feel free, or off duty

Yes, as we work with the things we like, everything is a bit mixed

It is hard sometimes to relax or disconnect

But I try not to do things that I do not want to do when I am free, like using the computer and sitting at my desk

The crazy thing is that when I then go back to my desk to do the things I actually like - it is too much because

I have neglected it for a while. So it takes a while to catch up.

But it has been worth it and I have been knitting a lot

Yes, and if we have not answered emails or messages it is because of this

we have been trying to feel leisured

We want to thank you for all your fantastic and warm greetings - thank you!

It warms our heart and we read everything even if we are not being able to answer everyone. But we try to!

I have been crying out of happiness because I feel so touched by your appreciation of what we do

but it was only a thought and then this came

a toilet bag in Harris tweed, now I start to cry again,

And now for the most special thing about this... Ally wrote that this was if you should ever leave your

kingdom and go on a travel, then it might come to use

and the same day we got the lovely news that we are selected to be invited to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival

so now we are going to go to Scotland

And then I am going to need this!

So we are coming! We have no idea how to afford this trip but we just must make it somehow

We hardly know how to afford food on the table every day, so we live day by day and so far it has worked out

So now we have decided that we have to go!

And of course it will be so much fun to meet everybody!

She lives in Norway but she comes from the US and we have talked about her before

this is a healing balm from the nuns in Trondheim

and then... I also got this pendant, it is so special

Patricia has made this in collaboration with @the_thankful_sparrow

the text comes from one of the concentration camps during the second world war

after the war these words were found on the wall in Auschwitz, one of the prisoners had wrote it there

it goes like this... "I believe in the sun even when it's not shining,

I believe in love even when I feel it not,

I believe in God even when He is silent"

and in my pendant it says "Even when He is silent"

It is such a beautiful reminder of how fragile and beautiful life is and the gift of living

and also terrible sometimes

I have to learn by my mistakes

have done this without the guidance from Ella and Pia, but I learn, slowly

You are really good but I also notice that it is a good thing to have help and guidance beside

I find it difficult with the counting

and reading the pattern, but I am learning

but it is difficult

the knitting, when I know what to do is no problem, it works out fine and it is fun to knit

And you can soon wear it!

Yes I can! And if we can not afford to fly, we can go on a boat

if I build a boat, I can wear this not to be cold on the trip...

Well, so your Riddari is almost done and so is Ellas

This is Ellas, it has been a secret so far but we show it now when she is not at home

We are so proud of her! But she is a bit of a secret.

And of course she can be secret, that is why you do not see much of her in our pictures

but now we are showing her beautiful knitting

she can wear this in Edinburgh, because she is coming along

of course, she helps us a lot with the podcast

She knitted as a child, at the age of 6-8 something

then she had a break and took it up again last winter, now she is 18 years old

it was about a year ago that both Ella and you started to knit

she has now knitted several sweaters and mittens and socks

She made this pair of Shine mittens, my pattern, for a dear friend as a Christmas gift

it is still here because she did not have time to block them before Christmas so she gave them to Moa

but now she is going to block them and give them to her again

so she has admired them and now they will be sent to her in the mail

I talked about how glad I was to have found it in the last episode, maybe you can show it

And I am going to Marstrand, also on the Swedish west coast, also in March, to Stickfest i Väst, a knitting festival

I hope to meet many of you!

Marstrand is such a lovely island and it is going to be a whole weekend with wonderful people and knitting

and good food in beautiful surroundings

and a lot of workshops!

I will lead some workshops, in different cat on and bind off methods and in stranded knitting

What are you going to teach?

I am trying to teach others about stranded knitting, cast on and bind off and also about how to

knit in your head phones for example

It will be fun!

What do you think was the best thing in 2017?

That is a difficult question

Especially as there are a lot of dark things that has happened

Yes, we need to learn how to handle the tough things

It can be hard to find the inner strength when bad things are happening

Not getting too anxious or feel too bad

trying to be calm and think that everything is going to be all right

I think my answer is all the fantastic people

it makes us want to go on doing what we are doing

and that we have been mostly healthy

and that we can enjoy each other and Gotland

and our children

I am so happy that we moved here!

Yes! So am I! It took a while.

It was hard to find the way, it is in the middle of the sea

But we found it and now we are here!

What did you think was the best?

The same as you

I am so happy about all the things in life that we do not always think about

Like sitting together

having coffee

talking to each other

I do not do that, I am really holding on to my knitted garments but now it happened

We went for a walk the other day, outside the town wall

and suddenly I saw a girl wearing the Shine mittens, knitted from my pattern

I got embarrassed and happy

It was so lovely to see someone walking around in my mittens

but I see a lot of pictures on the Internet

this was a different thing, to see an actual person walking around in the reality

They were green and white but it was not my lost mitten, it was a different green

it is a really nice book made by Kamilla Svanlund

It is called My projects (in Swedish)

You create it as you use it, there is room to fill in facts about your knitting projects

I got this as a Christmas gift and I myself gave another copy as a Christmas gift for Ella

It is such a good thing

You can make your notes and put in pictures

There are also lists with knitting words and abbreviations and so on

and it works as a scrapbook for a knitter

pretty much like the project pages on ravelry, only in a book instead

there are squared pages to draw your own charts

I can warmly recommend it

I like to do these things on paper and not only on the computer

I look forward to use this!

Together with Clara Falk, Kamilla Svanlund has made the book Pretty knitted hands, available in English

It is called Vantar för alla årstider in Swedish

It is a gorgeous book for mitten lovers

it is like a modern classic

I get stressed by talking when I need to concentrate on my knitting

Yes, I have many things waiting to come out

When we have free time, you are knitting and making new patterns,

so in a way, you are working all the time

except when you are sleeping but sometimes you wake up and draw patterns you invented in your sleep

sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night and do your drawings

It happens!

But the big thing is that we are going on tour!

We will tell you more about this in the year to come

It will be fun but unusual to go away, we are mostly at home

it is a matter of economy for us

but maybe there is someone else that wants to book us for an event this year

We can do the podcast live on stage, we can talk about knitting,

and we can have workshops and classes

maybe we can combine new ideas with the trips we are already making

Hey guys, Trudi here from It's the TruStory and today you may be wondering what

Chazz and I are up to in these fabulous outfits - yes - this is a wig I know you didn't know

but it is. And Chazz here is disguised as Tormund from Game of Thrones

well it's my favorite outfit he wears clearly he's very nonplussed, but whatever.

Anyways my point here is this - like, YouTube... which this is my channel... I'm a

parent too, and a volunteer crisis counselor for the Crisis Text Line, which

by the way if you're in crisis it's 741741, you can text that and someone

will help you. My point though is that there's been some stuff on YouTube

lately and a big brouhaha around Logan Paul and him showing images of somebody

who died by suicide... now this my feeling is like, man, YouTube should be a place to

escape and just see some stuff that kind of cools you out. My thought was this

week that I would just take some footage while I'm out and about of things that I think are

nice to look at to give you a little break from all the stuff of life that

feels really dark and hard. So just a few little clips for you to enjoy so I hope you

enjoy! So sometimes when you're just driving along, going about your day, and you realize

there's a rainbow just staring in the face...

There's nothing like a fish tank... it's very soothing... second only to eating amazing Thai food, also very soothing. WOAH! What's that guy doing? Nooooo!

Tiller, Tiller - c'mon. Tiller does 8,000 tricks. This could never happen - Chazz would never do this. What? It's crazy. Chazz JUMP. He won't do that; he'll just like, take a dump on your leg.

Ahhh the ocean. So soothing. Literally, I never, ever want to leave.

★ 3 MARKER CHALLENGE | MILI KOEY - Duration: 4:48.

Hi everyone, I'm Mili Koey

and in today's video I bring you a challenge that I really wanted to do

THE 3 MARKER CHALLENGE!!

Well, I really wanted to do this challenge, I was very curious to see how it was

and I think there is a very cool result, because it makes a very small scale of colors

and it is very attractive if you know how to use them well.

Good. I do not roll up anymore and I tell you the materials that I've used.

I have used 3 markers of the brand NEOPIKO

and they are a red, a blue and a gray.

the truth is that I think the combination of these colors is very interesting

and for all the details in white...

I use this white pen, which is great,

If you want a nice ballpoint pen and paint on top of other colors

I recommend this.

and finally, for all the part of the delineate and others.

I used this pen, * which I think is from a bazaar * so it's cheap ...

and it's from the MOLIN brand, the 0.4 in blue.

The only blue that there is ...

And finally, the paper that I have used is this one from the CANSON brand

It's watercolor, but I like it because of the format that I find very comfortable and also has hardly any grain in it.

the paper is quite smooth and to paint with markers, it is very comfortable.

And it does not bend or anything, well it's watercolor,

so I recommend it a lot.

These are the materials that I have been using, now I am going to tell you the drawing process

and how I have done it and also how this challenge has seemed to me.

As you have already seen, I had the sketch prepared and the first thing I did was to put the base colors.

and once I had all the shades placed, I put like a shadow, that I made it with the same gray

the good thing about these markers to alcohol is that they mix with each other

and all the shadows I have made them the same gray, only that as they are mixed they are dyed of each color.

and once I have all the base colors, with the blue ballpoint pen I have been highlighting those areas where

I wanted to highlight with the line and get a better effect, because with the markers I do not have much precision

So with this I give you the final details.

and finally with the white pen, that's when the magic starts, as I start to highlight all the details

and for example, the kimono of being smooth or the hair, already have more volume

and being limited in the color palette makes it get more depth

between the elements and do not remain all with the same color.

and well, this has been the process to make this challenge.

and this has been the result

The truth is that I am quite happy with how it has been, I think it has been very striking

and obviously now there are things that I would change as I would not have marked the lines so much in the background.

but in general I like it a lot because

in the simple is the elegant and importance is given to everything, without having to abuse in color

so I think it's cool

It does not have to be exactly these colors, but the range of blue, red and gray

and I challenge you to try to draw a picture with this harmony of color

Time for a Snow Ride! Shredding Vedder Mountain - Duration: 14:21.

The first snowfall of the year.

My cousin Brian, my friend Ethan and I decided to go for a shuttle ride at Vedder mountain in Chilliwack

It wasn't snowing so much in Abbotsford where we're from so we didn't quite expect all this snow

As we were going up the mountain we soon realized we might not actually make it all the way up

At the higher part of the mountain there's about an inch or two of snow on the ground and the road was getting glazed with a nice

Icy layer underneath, which made it impossible for driving.

If we can even make it up this part, oh man, shoot!

Okay watch out

Just keep going straight, continue to pump

Well, let's just park on the side here and do Chain Crazy

Oh my goodness yeah I'm like having to...
