Waching daily Jan 24 2018

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from naztazia.com Today I'm going to show you how to

crochet my blooming flower. The written pattern is on naztazia.com

To do this I'm using small amounts of Red Heart Baby Hugs lightweight yarn and

a size G hook. By the way be sure to click on the subscribe button to get

notified of new videos from me each week. To begin, with the light pink yarn make a

slip knot and chain 52. For Row 1 skip the first chain and make one half double

crochet in the next chain. Chain 1. Skip the next chain and make one half double

crochet in the next chain. Chain 1. Skip the next chain and make one half double

crochet in the next chain. Chain 1. Repeat

this pattern across the row. Also if you're on social media you can also find

me on Facebook Instagram Pinterest and Twitter. At the end of Row 1

begin your half double crochet in the last chain. Put your work down then grab

the yellow yarn hook it on your hook like this. And then pull the yarn through

to complete the half double crochet. Chain 3 and turn your work. Cut off the

light pink yarn. Make 10 double crochet stitches. We're going to make our first

one in the previous chain one space, and then in the half double crochet, the

third one in the space, fourth one in the half double crochet, five, six, seven, eight,

nine, and ten.

In the next space do1 double crochet and in the next stitch begin your half

double crochet. Grab the light pink yarn again and pull it through to complete

your half double crochet stitch and cut the yellow yarn. We're going to start the

middle petals. In each space we're going to do one single crochet, chain 2, 1

double crochet, chain 2, 1 single crochet. And in the next space same thing - 1

single crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet,

chain ,2 1 single crochet. You will make a total of 8 petals with the light pink

yarn. On that 8th petal before you finish your last single crochet, put your work

down, grab the dark pink yarn, and pull it through to complete your single crochet.

And cut the light pink yarn for the remaining petals. We're going to do this

one single crochet, chain 3, 2 treble crochet stitches, and the second one,

chain 3, 1 single crochet.

Repeat this pattern across the row. To check your work you'll have the yellow

double crochet stitches, the light pink petals, and then the dark pink petals.

After you cut and weave in all of your ends it's time to roll the flower into

shape. Starting at the yellow end roll it along its row one like this. Then take 15

inches or so of yarn, turn the flower over, and begin weaving the yarn through

the bottom edge of the rolled flower to secure it in place.

Afterwards tie and knot your yarn on the back. And here is my finished blooming

flower. I hope this video has helped you. Please subscribe to my You Tube channel.

I tried to do Japanese DIY candy again... and failed - Duration: 12:13.

Hey it's Charu!

And um... yeahh... *forgetting what I was gonna say*

Happy new year! I've already said it once, but happy new year!

2018, huh...

time goes really fast...

today I'm finally gonna do this, this is "Let's make a bento!" thing by Popin' cookin'

And I've really been looking forward to this!

I did this once before with my friend, but....

But, yeah, that time we kinda.....failed at it

so this time, alone, I'm gonna do this carefully and try to take revenge or something

This is.... omelette, broccoli, fried chicken and... Napolitan? (doing a weird accent for some reason)

sorry...

"Napolitan"

Octopus wiener

I CAN read katana....

This is what it looks like... can you see it?

Ok let's go! And yes, we still have the christmas tree up.... it's late, I know. Text: Nobody's said anything but..

btw, this, uh... I bought it in Japan so I don't know about the expiration date...

This is gonna be bad....

Yeah this is really bad

As you can see, it expired in 2016 so...

I'm not gonna eat it

But I want to do it anyway, so I'm gonna do that

But I don't even know if it's gonna work!

I might not be able to do it! Because it's so old...

Ok, so let's go!

I look forward to this!

Ok

Um...

Ok...

"Cut out the bento box, the ham and the pick (?) with a pair of scissors"...

Pair of scissors?

Ok! I got a pair of scissors!

I can just open this like this, right? Wait a second....

No, I'm supposed to cut it out with scissors....

Scissors....

and this is....

"Rice ball"

"Napolitan"

"Broccoli"

"Omelette"

"Salt and pepper"

"Fried chicken"

Ok this is what it looks like

This is really cute!

It's a panda!

And what is this? Strawberry? Mushroom? Text: It's broccoli....

Ok! So what's first?

It looks like I'm supposed to do the broccoli first...

"On the tray, where it says Broccoli..."

I read so slowly, how embarrassing!

"Put the powder that says broccoli and pour it into the place on the tray where it says broccoli"

Ok!

Ok, so where do I put it? (Such an idiot)

Oh this is broccoli!!! (DUH)

...probably

....I thought it was a mushroom

Ok!

This is what I'm gonna use to have water in so I'm gonna remove it from the tray

Ok!

It smells good!

This is what it looks like! Here's the broccoli......thing

Next we put in water

I prepared some water here so....

Fork...

like this...

It's hard to do it with one hand!

I'm gonna do like this..

it smells really good!

It's starting to smell like apples...

Before I thought it smelled like grape...

Well, it would be more suitable if it was apple

beCauSE it'S GReEn!

Excuse me

This is what it looks like

next! "Let's make an omelette"

Ok, let's take the omelette bag...

weeeee(?)

Is this really fun to watch?

Well, I'm having fun! (that's not what matters in a video though....)

Ok! So like this....

I'm gonna put it in

It's here right?

and then... water

Ok, I have the water here

You can't really see anything, yeah...

Sorry about that

This is my omelette

Next up is... octopus wiener....

This!

Octopus wiener...

When you were a kid, did you have this in your bento? (I'm not sure which verb to choose, which is why I say it so many times)

Japanese, huh. Yes, it's difficult.

Because always when you see a kid's bento in like anime and stuff, there's always a octopus wiener thing

Have you ever eaten one? I haven't.

Well, I don't even eat meat so that's not that weird, maybe...

Putting it in...

oops

ok

Oops

Let's mix it all, mix it all, mix it all up

Really sorry about that

ah, my dog

This is what my octopus wiener looks like

It's not very pretty, huh

Ok! Next one!

Wait a second...

oh no

I may have already failed

It says "Number 1, make the rice ball"

Ok, so it says number one here, right?

I started from here

I might have messed up

1,2,3,4,5...

What do I do?

Ok...umm...

Let's start with the rice ball!

yes...

rice ball...

I think it got in my nose Text: what an idiot

Let's go to the next one!

Ok, so the rice ball....

We're gonna put....water two times with this one

ok, let's put two waters in this one

OH!

it went in the broccoli

oh no!

the broccoli doesn't need any more water!

Text: Save me

Number two....no, it's not number two (hard to explain, but I messed up my Japanese again) Text: Did she break?

I've got octopus wiener on my fork

Just do like this and.....wope it, no, try to wipe it? Text: What's even happening

and then mix this

and this is what the rice ball looks like

What's next?

Separate the rice into two parts to make the panda's ears and face....

and then make the rest of the rice into a triangle for the riceball..ok, what?

Here it is! the panda form thing for making the ears and the face

I'm gonna separate it into two....

the order you do this in isn't that... important, right?

so it doesn't matter that I made the omelette, the broccoli and the octopus wiener before all of this, right? Text: You're just saying that because you messed up...

whooaa, it's really sticky

first, let's do the face...

this is for the ears so I'm gonna put this here

ok..

this is what it looks like, it doesn't look that bad, right?

next!

Next up is making the face of the panda

let's go

the salt and pepper

just a little bit...

this is what it looks like

I'm just gonna put the rest here and here....

Ah! I forgot to make the rice ball into a rice ball shape (triangle)

this is what's gonna be the rice ball so I have to make it into a triangle....

like this...

my little rice ball....

it's actually pretty hard!

like this?

I don't know...

ok

So I'm just gonna press this down here...

I wonder if this is gonna work...

I mean, it worked but...

Since it's supposed to look like seaweed, it should be down here, right?

Ok, I'm gonna do like this

ok

never mind

now take the panda and make the face....

what is it?

What is it? Do I smell weird?

"and when you've made the face and the ears of the panda, the panda rice ball is finished" yayyy

I'm supposed to press it here. I really hope this works

whaaaa-, it looks scary

whaaaa, it's not cute at all!

I wonder if I can do this... I wanna make it cuter

I'm gonna do this

I'm gonna do it again

I don't care if it's grey!

As long as it's cute

It really became grey

nevermind!

I'm gonna do it again!

Pleaaaaaaase!

I mean, it's a little weird, but at least it's not ugly!

Yayy, I'm gonna count that as a success

Next, let's do the ears for the panda!

ok

Next up is the fried chicken

and then put the water in...

This is what it looks like, it looks kinda... gross, doesn't it?

next!

It's the last thing!

"Napolitan"

Napolitan powder...

and then two waters..

Ok, next up we're gonna put the Napolitan thing in this bag

and then twist it like this to close it

and then cut the bag 1 centimeter

I don't think I can cut it 1 centimeter in...

Is this really gonna work.... I don't think so!

Ok here I go

oh no, it's way too big

omg!

This is my Napolitan....

so I kinda..... really failed this one, huh.

It turns out I really don't know how big 1 centimeter is, huh

Ok, my Napolitan is ready...

And the rest is just to get everything in this "box"

Ok, so I guess we can establish that I'm not exactly the best at doing this kind of stuff, huh...

ok

This is my bento!

yeah, soooo

it didn't turn out, like, amazingly beautiful, but I had fun...

Thank you so much for watching
