North Korea has selected two venues in South Korea for its art performance concerts to

celebrate the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

The decision was reached a matter of days after a delegation, led by the country's most

famous pop star, inspected numerous different spots in the South.

On the sporting side,... the North says its women ice hockey players will arrive in the

South within the next 24 to 48 hours to join up with their South Korean counterparts as

they prepare to compete in the same, unified team.

Lee Seung-jae has the details.

After a close inspection of some of the possible concert venues for the North Korean art performance

group,... the North Korean delegation led by Hyon Song-wol, the head of the North's

Samjiyon Orchestra,... has selected two concert venues to celebrate the 2018 PyeongChang Winter

Olympics.

According to the South Korean unification ministry on Tuesday,... North Korea said its

art troupe hopes to perform at the Gangneung Arts Center in Gangneung, a coastal city located

about 260 kilometers east of Seoul, and one of the Olympic venues along with PyeongChang,...

on February 8th,... and the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on February 11th.

The North added that its delegation,... which includes a 140-member art performance group

of classical musicians, singers and dancers,... plans to cross the land border into South

Korea on February 6th for the concerts,... before returning home on February 12th.

North Korea has also confirmed that it will send a 15-member ice hockey team of twelve

players, a head coach and two support personnel to South Korea on Thursday.

The South had proposed that they arrive as soon as possible for training with their South

Korean counterparts ahead of competing as a unified team.

With the world's biggest international winter sporting event kicking off in PyeongChang

in around a fortnight,... hopes are high that the end result will be a more peaceful peninsula.

【炸翻全球的 Q-Dance 聯手打造樂托邦!】- OOCtv - Duration: 6:59.

Hi everyone! Welcome to OOCTV, this is VINEM!

For those of you that have been following OOC or VINEM, you'll know that I love Bass Music the most.

Moreover, I've been pleading event planners to host a "Bass Music" music festival.

Up till now, only "LOOPTOPIA" responded with the "MONSTER TOWER" stage.

Last year, I saw Snails, NGHTMRE, Wildstylez, Wiwek, Dirtcaps and many other hard DJs.

The intensity of the "Headbang" is tantamount to our happiness!

Don't even bring up Coone, Brennan Heart, and other Hardstyle Djs

the MONSTER TOWER of LOOPTOPIA is definitely the hardest in Taiwan; so basically, I'm hoping that next year, all the stages will be MONSTER TOWERS….

OK jokes aside, the main point is, LOOPTOPIA 2018

will collaborate with the most prominent stage designing team in Europe, and also the frontrunner of the Hardstyle genre - Q-Dance!

OMG, this is going to be lit! Q-Dance will collaborate with Taiwanese original brand - theLOOP to create the "MONSTER TOWER" stage

obviously, anyone who knows "Q-Dance" should be more than happy right now. Just like this…

If you don't know what we're excited about, please allow me to introduce it to you

Q-Dance is founded in 1999, in the electronic music headquarters - the Netherlands.

Their logo was inspired by the knobs on DJ equipments.

In 2000, their most famous event "Qlimax" was born.

After 3 years, in 2003, Defqon1 also emerged.

Since 2005, Q-Dance has began to take over a stage at Tomorrowland. The stage will always be packed with die-hard hardstyle fans.

Additionally, they also participated in EDC and the most historic of all - Mysteryland.

The stage was so epic that it became a highlight to the event.

Because their portfolio is so diverse, let me teach everyone how to recognize them.

First, if the theme of the event is Bass Music or Hardstyle, then it's highly likely hosted by Q-Dance

second, if the event's name has a "Q" in it, then 100% it's from Q-Dance.

Besides from a prominent brand image, their stages and equipments are out of this world.

Let's take a look at the footage of Qlimax, the depth and breadth of the stage, complemented with a great number of lasers.

It's just…. I'm out of words! It's something that language fails to portray!

I'm watching the footage via iPad right now and it's off the charts!

Don't know why, I personally like the word "Climax"

Defqon1 and Qlimax, which is more familiar to Taiwanese people, are also themed around hardstyle music, and they also have unworldly stages.

Having a stage designing team, they used 13 trucks to haul the stage structures

The installments for the main stage is suspended 26m high on specialized scaffolds, that's approximately 9 stories high.

If you can imagine being stared by such a big face, it's probably like this

Even though I spent a lot of time talking about hairstyle relevant topics

I still believe this year's Bass Music in LOOPTOPIA will be just as hard.

By the way, let's talk about the different hand/head movements for Hardstyle and Bass Music

For Bass Music, if you had seen my reaction to Dubstep, you will know

it's like being punched in the stomach till you bend while being focused on your head and follow the groove. (headbang)

If there are some fences near you, you can follow suit and use them well like these brothers

For Hardstyle, because it's too fast, if you move the same way, you will break your neck

so people mostly just nod their head, or raise their arms as if holding the hooks on the bus, and just punch, punch, punch

For those of you with enough endurance, you can be like these guys. Find a space and do Jumpstyle or even Hardjump alongside the beats.

If everyone spares no effort on every single song, then just like the last time we'd mentioned, after LOOPTOPIA, sore patch sales will soar, and this year, it's gonna skyrocket!

Looks like it's going to grow exponentially this year.

Even though LOOPTOPIA Music Festival (wow that's a long name)

Even though LOOPTOPIA starts 2018, April, we are already can't wait.

As the event planner, "theLOOP," is doing all the right things, VINEM loves them more and more.

That's because I'm a bass music fanatic, reasonable eh?

As for the question, who is "theLOOP"? Well, have you ever heard of

White Party, Halloween Massive, Sensation White Taiwan, Spring Love, Winter Love, LUXY, OMNI, KOR?

Don't doubt it, it's all hosted by them.

Harnessing 16 years of experience, "theLOOP" collaborates with the elite European EDM stage designing team Q-Dance this time.

This is also the first time Q-Dance has planned a large music festival in Asia.

From the footages, we can tell how awesome is the "MONSTER TOWER" stage.

So this year's LOOPTOPIA not only recorded it's first-ever collaboration with Q-Dance,

but also, the main stage also seems like a treat. Now we just gotta wait for further notice from theLOOP

undoubtedly, OOC will spread the news at first notice

Even though my heart is with the MONSTER TOWER, but this cannot cover the fact that I'm on my heels waiting to take a glimpse of the main stage.

So there you have it. Now you know that the MONSTER TOWER for LOOPTOPIA 2018 will be taken care of by hardstyle colossal - Q-Dance

it's a guarantee, we will have two days of hardness, party till we die!

This episode of OOCtv is sponsored by LOOPTOPIA Music Festival which will take stage on 2018, April.

Thanks to them, we Bass Music and Hardstyle fanatics get to enjoy the MONSTER TOWER.

I'm VINEM, and hope to see you guys at the MONSTER TOWER.

'Harmony' and 'Convergence' unveiled as themes of PyeongChang 2018 ceremonies - Duration: 2:56.

There are just over two weeks left until the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics kick off.

Busy putting the final touches on the global celebration of sport,... the organizing committee

has given everyone a sneak peak at what to expect during the opening and closing ceremonies.

Our Lee Ji-won reports from PyeongChang.

The concepts have been revealed for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 PyeongChang

Winter Olympics -- they are...

"Harmony"... and "Convergence."

On Monday, the organizing committee and the directors of the ceremonies held a press briefing

to share some of the details and the preparations they're making.

(Korean) "From the harmony of tradition and modern-day

culture... to that of nature and modern buildings,... harmony is a basic Korean value.

Through 'convergence,' Korea has been able to spread its culture worldwide and become

a leading IT nation.

With performances that illustrate these two values, we hope to convey the messages of

'peace' and 'passion.'"

They also unveiled the Olympic cauldron for the ceremonies.

The cauldron resembles a moon jar, a type of traditional Korean white porcelain, representing

Korean notions of beauty through empty space and simplicity,... as well as conveying the

message of 'participation' and 'harmony.'

While the specific layout of the ceremonies could not be shared, they did reveal the basic

storylines of the events.

The opening ceremony is based on the journey of five children searching for answers to

'peace,'... and features Korean legends and history.

The closing ceremony focuses on the challenges ahead with musical and dance performances.

To the question of whether North Korean art troupes will perform in the opening ceremony,

Director Song said that while it hasn't been confirmed, the International Olympic Committee

has mentioned an appearance by Pyongyang's Taekwondo performers before the opening ceremony

begins.

It's expected to be extremely cold on the days of the ceremonies, so the committee also

explained its plans to deal with that.

On top of constructing a wind screen around the Olympic Stadium, they have also built

40 patio heaters and 18 wind-proof shelters around the venue to prevent hypothermia.

The committee will be providing visitors with winter gear including hot packs, blankets

and raincoats,... but said it's vital that spectators dress warmly and come prepared.

In preparation for the more than 20-thousand spectators expected to come to the opening

ceremony, the committee has also prepared a range of transportation services,... one

of which is the 'GO PyeongChang' mobile application.

The application launches on Wednesday and will display all the different ways of getting

to the venues,... and help out with reservations.

With just over two weeks left until the Games kick off,... the organizing committee said

it'll do its best to warmly welcome the world and make PyeongChang 2018 an unforgettable

experience.

BREAKING Disturbing Memo Leaks To Public On Hillary and Obama's Nasty Illegal Plot To-BreakingNews24 - Duration: 34:23.

BREAKING Disturbing Memo Leaks To Public On Hillary and Obama's Nasty Illegal Plot To

Remove Trump

The 2016 Presidential election showed the American people what the Democratic Party

was all about, and with the leaked emails from WikiLeaks, the lengths the Democratic

National Committee went to in an effort to ensure their candidate, Hillary Clinton, received

the Democratic Party nomination.

When liberals failed to place Hillary Clinton in the White House, the mainstream media,

along with Democrats in Washington D.C. embarked on a path to paint President Trump as a candidate

that colluded with Russian agents and subverted the democratic process.

Now, the Russian collusion narrative coming from the left has been obliterated, and it

seems the tide is turning against all those who have been conspiring against President

Trump.

Yesterday, we reported on the lawsuit filed by President Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen,

suing BuzzFeed and the DNC funded firm Fusion GPS for $100 million.

Mr. Cohen who was a target of the DNC along with President Trump is claiming that both

parties engaged in slander with the composition and eventual publication of the now proven

fake dossier, funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Adding to the controversy, it is suspected that the Obama administration, and perhaps

even President Obama himself used the FBI and DOJ for the purposes of attacking their

political enemies, using the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) system to obtain

illegal search warrants against President Trump and his associates.

Now a memo is circulating amongst Congress, which may prove someone in the Obama administration,

and perhaps even more than one person may have lied to illegally obtain a warrant to

spy on President Trump.

Before we get to the memo, and the trending hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo, lets rewind back

to why Congressional leaders are demanding that this memo, which is still classified,

be released to the public.

The public theory floating around Washington D.C. about the Obama administration's suspected

misuse of FISA and going after then-candidate Trump goes like this.

Certain elements within the Obama administration allegedly attempted to get a search warrant

on President Trump via an Article III in federal court and were denied the warrant because

sufficient evidence did not exist.

Then after Obama's operatives failed in their initial attempt, they allegedly mislabeled

their FISA request as "foreign agents", but made the mistake of including Trump's

name, and were denied again.

Finally, it is suspected that on their third attempt, Obama operatives allegedly submitted

a third FISA request, but left out Trump's name, and this final request for a FISA warrant

was granted.

Yesterday Republicans in the House went on Twitter to demand that this memo they read

be unclassified, using the trending hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo, alluding to the fact that

the contents of the memo are extremely damning, and will obliterate whatever credibility is

left of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said, after reading this classified memo, said it is a clear underhanded

political hack job, saying in part, "If the American people knew what was happening

if they saw the contents of this memo, a lot would become clear about the information that

I've been talking about the last several months."

The only details to be released about this memo are that it involved the DOJ, the Obama

FBI, and then-candidate Trump.

Rep. Matt Gaetz went on to state while he was on Fox Business network that, "I think

that this will not end just with firings.

I believe there are people who will go to jail.

You don't get to try to undermine our country, undermine our elections, and then simply get

fired."

His comments definitely lend credence to the theory that elements within the Obama administration

lied to FISA judges, and improperly obtained search warrants.

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) also offered his thoughts on the memo after reading it and

said, "I viewed the classified report from House Intel relating to the FBI, FISA abuses,

the infamous Russian dossier, and so-called 'Russian collusion.'

What I saw is absolutely shocking."

If FISA warrants were obtained under false pretense, the criminal penalties are serious,

but the damage to the FBI and the DOJ will leave a serious black eye on government agencies

which are not supposed to be politicized.

Lee Smith, of The Tablet, an online Jewish news outlet succinctly elaborates the ramifications

the contents of this memo could set in motion.

"For if the FBI and Department of Justice used a piece of opposition research paid for

by a political campaign as evidence for a warrant to intercept the communications of

a rival campaign—and the questions asked by congressional investigators suggest they

did—then we are now living in a very different America than the one that generations of civil

libertarians and small-government conservatives alike desired to maintain, and which large

majorities in Congress have repeatedly voted for."

Mr. Smith goes on to point out the obvious that the FBI and the DOJ will be in damage

control for a long time, and will have to work very hard to gain the trust of conservative

Americans', many of whom already feel the DOJ and the FBI are still political pawns.

"The DOJ, the FBI and perhaps the CIA would be embroiled in a scandal likely to have long-lasting

and sweeping consequences for intelligence collection, national security, and the safety

and privacy of American citizens, to say nothing of how it will demoralize federal law enforcement,

which will appear to be mired in partisanship and political corruption."

President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have not commented publicly on this

memo or its contents, but it is a safe bet that both have already viewed the document,

which may be the main source of President Trump's confidence that this Russian collusion

investigation will fall flat on its face.

South Korean inspection team touring North Korean ski resort, nearby airport - Duration: 0:56.

Our top story this afternoon...

South Korea's twelve-member inspection team is spending their Wednesday looking around

North Korea's Masikryong Ski Resort and Kalma Airport on the second day of their three-day

field survey trip north of the border.

The team will inspect whether the slope is suitable for training Alpine and cross-country

skiers.

They'll also take a close look at the accommodation facilities at the resort.

The North had previously requested a two-day joint training of non-Olympic ski athletes.

The South's inspection team will also check the airport to see whether it can be used

to fly in the South Korean ski trainees.

Another inspection team from the North will come to the South on Thursday to look around

the Olympic stadiums and accommodations, the same day the South Korean team returns home.

Korea's ratio of average income between top & bottom 10% is second-highest among OECD countries - Duration: 2:19.

Widening income inequality has long been a problem in Korea,...

and recent OECD statistics show Korea's income gap between the top and bottom ten percent

was the second-highest out of ten OECD countries in 2016.

Park Ji-won has more.

OECD data shows Korea's income gap is the second highest in the OECD,... just behind

the U.S.

In 2016,... the ratio of the average income of the top 10-percent to the bottom 10-percent

in Korea stood at 4-point-five,... meaning that the top 10-percent of income earners

earn 4-point-five times more than the bottom 10-percent earn.

This figure was the second-highest,... among 10 OECD countries,... which have related data.

New Zealand has the lowest number of two-point-eight-six.

Korea was also ranked second in 2015,... when data for 21 OECD member countries was available.

The U.S. had the largest income gap, while three Northern European countries,... Finland,

Denmark and Norway had the lowest income inequality.

Korea's ratio of average income between the top and bottom 10-percent was around four

in 2000,... but the number soared to more than five in 2006,... and fallen slightly

since then.

Still,... Korea has been ranked at the number two spot,... since 2012.

(Korean)- "Korea's Gini Coefficient, which shows the

wealth distribution of a country,... is considered not that bad as of now, yet this continuing

income gap means that the nation's wealth distribution could worsen in the future.

It is also a sign that Korea's economy is failing to produce quality jobs."

However,... experts are not in agreement on whether Korean's minimum wage increase this

year will help improve the situation,... as the minimum wage hike could stiffen the labor

market,... leading to more unemployment.

The proportion of the workforce who earn less than two thirds of the median income in Korea

is also the second highest in 2016,... out of 10 OECD countries which have released related

data.

The Truth About the Fall of Muslim Spain | ELAI 31 - Duration: 7:48.

Hey there.

In the last installment of this series we dealt with the fall of Constantinople, a great

crime committed against Christianity, supposedly by Muslims, but actually by Christians.

Today we'll deal with the fall of Muslim Spain, a great crime committed against Islam,

supposedly by Christians, but actually by fanatical Muslims.

Al-Andalus, which included much of the territory of Modern Spain, has a complicated history.

It's golden age under the Caliphate of Cordoba is even more distant in time than the golden

age of Constantinople, though the last pocket of Muslim rule in Spain was stamped out at

around the same time as the remnants of that city.

Cordoba around the year 1000 was richer than all of Western European Christendom combined.

It was also more tolerant than any other domain at the time, Muslim or Christian.

Muslim Spain is remembered as one of the three great post-biblical golden ages for Jewish

life.

The still standing great mosque of Cordoba remains so beautiful I was compelled to make

a video about it when I visited last year.

Lately there's been a lot of push back on this story of tolerance and civilization.

People tend to hyperventilate over things that are actually not at all shocking, like

the fact that Caliphs would execute Jews and Christians who publicly insulted Islam.

This whole genre of historical revisionism relies on a high degree of ignorance.

Folks who praise Al-Andalus never claimed that it was an amazingly tolerant place by

the standards of today.

It was just miraculously better than the savagely brutal, murderous dirt farm that the rest

of Europe, and most of the rest of the world was at the time.

Next door, in what was becoming France, at around the same time Christians were massacring

hundreds of thousands of Christians for getting the details wrong.

In Muslim Spain you could practice a religion different from the folks in charge, and as

long as you paid some special taxes and kept your mouth shut about Islam you could survive,

and even prosper.

By the standards of the year 1000 or 1200 or even 1600 that was amazing.

We should not be judging Medieval kingdoms by the standards of modern Switzerland.

Anyway, digression over.

Europe remembers the reconquest of Spain as a glorious story of the triumph of Christianity,

while the Islamic world remembers it as a sort of theft.

The loss of the glories of Cordoba is seen as a tragedy by Muslims, and it is.

It's an interesting mirror image to the way that Christians see the loss of Constantinople.

And just like that story, what really happened is a lot more complicated than infidels being

mean.

Constantinople's fall really happened 250 years earlier than we are told, and the end

of Islam's golden age in Spain came almost 500 years before the final expulsion of the

Muslims in 1492.

The Christian kingdoms of Aragon and Castile did the mopping up, but it was the Muslims

themselves that ended the golden age.

As these things tend to do, the Caliphate of Cordoba fell because of a child king and

some greedy advisors.

Over 50 or so years from the 980s to the 1030s it all fell apart.

The Muslim areas of Spain broke up into a bunch of smaller units known as the Taifa

kingdoms.

Some of them preserved Cordoba's tradition of sophistication and tolerance, and some

of them didn't.

And they became easier targets for the Christian states to the North.

And that's when one Taifa king in particular made Al-Andalus's greatest mistake.

In 1086 he invited the Almoravids of North Africa to come and save him from the Christians.

In the immediate term this worked.

The Almoravids crushed the Christians at the battle of Sagrajas.

But then they turned on the Taifa kingdoms themselves.

Swallowing most of them up by 1094.

In the words of Maria Rosa Menocal:

"These Fanatics considered the Andalusian Muslims intolerably weak, with their diplomatic

relations with Christian States, not to mention their promotion of Jews in virtually every

corner of their government and society".

Muslim Spain then began a century long decline as a province of primarily African Empires.

The Almoravids were exactly the sort of Jihadis that Islam haters worry about.

They're the sorts of fanatics that ISIS and the Saudis idolize.

They were also huge losers.

Religious fanaticism can yield some easy early victories, but it doesn't have much staying

power.

The Almoravids were overthrown by the even more fanatical Almohad Caliphate in 1147.

The Almohads destroyed what was left of the tolerant culture of Muslim Spain.

Christians and Jews fled their fanaticism in droves.

And the Almohads didn't last that long either.

In 1212 the Almohads lost the Battle of Las Navas De Tolosa to four Christian kings.

This battle broke Muslim power in Spain for all time.

The Emirate of Granada survived for another 250 years but only by paying tribute to the

Christian kingdom of Castile.

The Fanatics took a little more than one hundred years to destroy what more moderate Muslims

had been building for four centuries.

So once again, we see a religious golden age, destroyed by that religion's own extremists.

Al-Andalus and Constantinople should occupy honored positions in the histories of their

respective religions.

They were extraordinary places, and extraordinary times.

But we should let go of the religiously bigoted legends of their fall.

They don't help anybody, and they're not, you know, accurate.

Thanks for watching, please subscribe and many thanks to the Producers and Patrons that

make this work possible.

With this video I've now completed two of the four things I promised in that thank you

video six months ago.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask that you consider joining the Patrons over

here.

We've only got six months left to hit this year's fundraising goal, and donations have

really slowed down over the past month.

I know I'm falling behind on the book I promised.

Turns out writing a book is hard.

I'm about a third of a way there, you can follow my progress on twitter, and if you

Fifteen Signs You're An INFP Personality Type - Duration: 6:00.

Fifteen Signs You're An INFP Personality Type

INFPs certainly seem like a rare breed, but there's tons of them out there who are true

idealists.

They are driven by their values and principles and they listen to many people but talk to

very few.

INFPs like Alicia Keys and William Shakespeare strongly demonstrate that their feelings are

best channeled into their creativity and their art.

Although they may seem mysterious and hard to understand, In this video, I'm going to

share with you 15 Signs You're An INFP Personality Type.

If you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this video and subscribe

to this channel so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future!

1.

Your flirting skills are unique, and let's face it, often ineffective.

Oh, you mean me completely ignoring you even though we've never actually met didn't catch

your attention?!

How weird.

2.

You cry when you're angry.

INFPs are not a fan of conflict.

Instead of yelling or flipping tables when they're angry,

your lip starts to quiver and when it comes to having to talk about something that's bothering

them, the tears are bound to flow.

3.

You have this happy personality and a sad soul.

Because they feel everything so deeply, their minds are always sorting through at least

ten emotions at once.

They're typically conflicted and their hearts are usually whirring at a fleeting pace.

Although they may be known as 'the quiet one who laughs a lot,' deep down they've got a

LOT going on.

4.

You're the dreamer, the healer, and the mediator.

They just want the world to be okay and for everyone to get along and be happy.

Is that too much to ask?!

5.

Your brain, full of scribbles, somehow maintains the ability to help everyone else.

Because of your incredibly empathetic, thoughtful, and considerate tendencies, the people close

to you will always have someone to lean on.

Even if you're going through your own troubles, you're ready to catch them when they fall

and talk them through whatever it is they're facing.

6.

When someone you're close with is the slightest bit off, you're off too.

Your defensive senses start to tingle when someone you're close with isn't acting like

themselves, and you're there to comfort them before they

can even spew the words, "I'm fine."

7.

You want everything you do to mean something.

You're either extraordinarily passionate about something or your heart's just not in it,

and let's face it, there's usually no in between.

Because INFPs feel everything so distinctly, they want everything they do on this earth

to make a difference.

8.

You often best get your thoughts and feelings out through a creative outlet.

Whether it's writing, painting, photography, or music, INFPs are typically a lot easier

to understand through their creative work than just by talking.

Sometimes they don't even understand what they're thinking themselves until they've

turned their thoughts into art.

9.

You're not the best at decision making.

You're not great at making decisions under pressure, or at all, really.

Unless you have a fiery passion for one option, you're better off just having someone else

decide for you.

10.

You're guarded, which makes getting to know you quite difficult.

It takes a LOT of perseverance, sensitivity, and time to get to know you, the INFP.

To those you're not comfortable around, you may come off as quiet and maybe even boring,

but to those who've faced the challenge of wiggling their way into your heart, they've

found it's made of solid gold.

11.

You need a lot of relaxation.

What you need: a good book to read, some headphones, some time in nature, lots of Netflix, an animal

pal, some time to think, some creativity, a good friend, and LOTS of solitude.

12.

Small talk is the enemy.

You Hate Small talk.

You want to hear a story that means something or talk for hours about something you're passionate

about.

You'd prefer to skip the, 'hi, how are you's', and get right to the, 'this is what ignites

the light in my eyes.'

13.

Your insecurity can quickly turn into turmoil.

Insecurity can definitely be your strong suit, the INFP.

You're not great at accepting criticism.

Or compliments, for that matter.

Though it feels like you need constant validation, you also hate being the center of attention,

so what do you do with that?

That one friend who hasn't talked to you all day is probably just busy,

but then again you probably did something horribly wrong and now they're never going

to talk to you again.

14.

You're driven by your happiness more than money.

Your idea of perfect misery would be working for a company that you don't believe in.

It's important to you to believe in the work that you're doing and believe that you are

making a difference.

An INFP's ideal job would involve working creatively and mostly on their own terms in

order to keep hold of their freedom of expression.

You care more about your values and happiness than putting your time into something that

you don't care about just for the money.

15.

You're a "what if" kind of person.

Your mind is constantly working at a mile a minute, thinking about the future and the

past and sometimes even the present.

You're always thinking about the "what ifs" with every decision you make and though you

always go with what your heart tells you, you can amaze the people you show your art

to with how much is actually going on in your brain versus how much of it you actually say

(which is typically nothing).

Whiplash - How Criticism makes you better - Duration: 8:40.

Einstein said Only one who devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a

true master. For this reason, mastery demands all of a person. Paintings, music, and books

of antiquity that are obscure now or have taken refuge in the museums take us all in

amazement by the mere name of master attached to it but upon looked closely they will equally

astonish us with the mastery that it has been weaved trough by years and years of hard work.

Damien Chazelle's film Whiplash is suffused with this idea that to make yourself proficient

at any skill you have to be willing to grind for it relentlessly. It takes countless days

and nights to hone one's craft to be called a work of genius.

but not just that, this

movie also brings fore the role of criticism in ones' life and how important it is to push

any artist beyond mediocrity.

It reflects how hard-work, when complemented with criticism,

can result in a remarkable performance. In this scene where an aspiring jazz drummer

Andrew complacently takes the drum with the hope of impressing the instructor only to

realize how mistaken he was for his skill.

Terence Fletcher, the instructor known for his ruthless teaching

methods, who often gets abusive and violent doesn't just make Andrew know his minor mistakes

but he goes on to humiliate him to the point of tears.

Andrew who came in with a smug face

was made to leave with a broken heart. This has a huge impact how he takes on himself

from here and on. Whatever notion he had of himself prior to this was now withered to

ashes and anything that was left is to work hard, way more than he thought of.

Think of the nuances that we get wrong in the skills we are pursuing and we tend to

overlook those because we are too overwhelmed by appreciations to notice. most of the times

people appreciate because they of course genuinely like our work but seldom people do so because

they don't wanna make us feel bad or hurt us. They let a bit of sympathy slide over

the truth and say a GOOD JOB - And that's a huge mistake.

Fletcher as an instructor knows what it takes to be great and he constantly deploys this

ideology among his students to achieve it.

when Andrew gets to be the core drummer after saving the band from a debacle by performing

without the music charts. Fletcher to make sure that Andrew doesn't take this for granted

calls an alternate so he feels threatened to lose his position.

Andrew, of course, oblivious to fletcher's intention gets into

a little squabble with him

but it eventually leaves Andrew with nothing but to practice harder

A well-intentioned criticism's purpose is

not just to make one aware of his mistakes but I think more importantly is not to let

the success go to one's head.

Every time Andrew puffs up a bit in his little victories soon

enough Fletcher deflates him by giving minimum attention. Fletcher repeatedly denies acknowledging

his efforts. He acts so insatiably that NO matter what you do you are still treated like

a piece of shit.

It is at this point Andrews passion ascends to obsession. Andrew,

and like everytime Obsession takes its toll on Andrews life too.

In a horrific turn of events Andrew meets his near-death accident while making it for a show

, barely escaping it with his bloodied face and shirt, Andrew shambles to the venue

and takes up the drum. Andrew ....ok let's not say this.

This was Fletcher's last straw.

Passion adds and obsession consumes. At this point obsessed

Andrew's prosperity gets little eclipsed. With his father's insistence, Andrew is made

to rat out on Fletcher's abusive behaviour. This gets Fletcher out of college. Andrew gets quite a for the

time being and lays low.

It's only when he stumbles upon Fletcher in a bar that the movie

takes an interesting turn and proceeds toward the finale of its plot.

Fletcher offers Andrew to join his band for an upcoming show

while pretending to be unaware of the fact that it was actually Andrew who testified

against him,.

It was only when Andrew was on stage he realized that he was tricked.

This is heartbreaking for someone as obsessed as Andrew to see his

hopes dying down.

In this ghoulish silence, he wasn't just witnessing his failure but

watching all his dreams Insidiously suffocating to death. Andrew ashamedly leaves the stage

giving it all up for once and all. Taking pity his father scurries out. It is like one

of those moments everything gets dim, time sort of freezes keeping captive in that - moment

for long and long and breaking and crushing you down. Not everyone could pull it up together

after reaching such a brink. for Andrew its only when his father tries to console him

that he realizes that even though it was a revenge by Fletcher, a well planned and on

purpose for that but its still a criticism. As if Fletcher did so just to provoke him

again, to make him take drums again play better. To everyone's surprise, Andrew gets back on

stage, without even waiting for Fletcher to cue, he blasts on the drum.

everyone was taken aback. Fletcher himself was baffled. He even tries to cow Andrew down

but there is nothing he could do to stop him, Andrew wasn't playing for him anymore. Neither

was the audience of any importance to him now. Like any artist, this was for him. This

was his time. The performance that every artist long for at least once in their lifetime was

now for Andrew. He kept thundering the drums with all his might, with all the precision.

Initially Fletcher tries to ignore but eventually,

he couldn't help but notice Andres Ignition that had been trying to spark all along. Seeing

this He forgets all his grudges held against Andrew and gets into the flow with him. He

gets more desperate as Andrew reaches the crescendo for an artistic epitome. Andrew

bathed in sweat, hands soaked in blood tirelessly kept it on till it wasn't his best performance ever.

you could be passionate. you might be willing

to grind it all the way through. like Everyone you can keep few role models to motivate you

at time but without criticism, without people who point you your mistake, who rectify you

even when you don't want them to, people who are so brutally honest that you get offended

sometimes, without them you will somewhere in your life fall into the trap of being good

enough and fail the greatness in you.

Volatile Ring of Fire causes earthquakes, volcanoes at opposite ends of Pacific - Duration: 2:04.

The volatile Ring of Fire, a line of seismic faults around the Pacific Ocean, has sparked

earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on opposite ends of the geological disaster zone.

The spate of natural disasters all happened in the space of 24 hours.

Ro Aram reports.

Several events occurred on the Ring of Fire on Monday and Tuesday, including a massive

7-point-9 magnitude quake that hit the southern coast of Alaska.

It caused a tsunami warning to be issued across the west coast of the United States, Canada

and Mexico, but that warning has now been lifted.

But, officials are still advising residents to stay away from coastlines for the time

being.

On the other side of the Pacific Ocean, another 6-point-0 quake rocked Indonesia, with more

than a hundred buildings being damaged and several people getting injured.

The tremor occurred just off the coast of the western island of Java, but Indonesian

officials did not issue a tsunami warning.

Meanwhile, a volcano erupted near a mountain ski resort in Japan.

A soldier was reported to have been killed after being hit by an avalanche triggered

by the eruption, which took place on Mount Kusatsu-Shirane in Gunma Prefecture, located

186 kilometers north of Tokyo.

More than a dozen people have been injured, some critically.

In the Philippines, several days of increasingly intense activity at its most active volcano

has sparked authorities to raise the alert level to the second-highest level of four,

which means a "hazardous eruption is imminent."

Mount Mayon, located on the large island of Luzon, has been gushing lava fountains as

high as 700 meters into the air along with ash clouds.

More than 56-thousand villagers are now camped in emergency shelters.

While the series of cataclysmic activity came in rapid succession, scientists say that since

they occurred thousands of kilometers apart, there is nothing to suggest they are connected.

Sketching Singapore - Old Habits Boutique & Cafe (Telok Blangah Rise) - Duration: 2:07.

Okay, so today we're gonna focus a little bit on painting reflection.

I've got this glass panel here and it belongs to Old Habits.

Good afternoon! It's just past 12pm,

we're here in the Telok Blangah Rise area - specifically here in front of Old Habits Boutique & Cafe.

I'm gonna work on painting for next three hours or so.

This place serves great food!

What's your special here?

That would be the Coconut Kueh (cake).

Is that a meal?

Oh... dessert!

Chicken, lamb rack and pesto.

These three are the most common, and people come back for it...

...and also antiques that you can find from old Singapore.

I was inching on this piece.

There was a lot of reflection during the course of this painting,

because of the passing clouds.

Sometimes you see them, sometimes you don't.

sometimes sometimes you don't and that gets a bit tricky.

So I decided to go with the more of the see-through into the shop kind of final look.

So this is Alvin from Old Habits at Telok Blangah Rise, block 38...

...over and out!

RETROactive Ep 7: Godzilla Planet Of Monsters (Netflix Movie Review) - Duration: 10:21.

oh hello folks G fool here and welcome to retroactively where I review movies

games and whatever I feel like reviewing at the time the Netflix Godzilla movie

came out today part 1 I'm gonna add that other right now and I just finished it

and I am like I have to explain it in this video how I feel about this movie

but I will say this I think it's good I don't think it's the best but given that

it's part one I feel like it's gonna get way better so with that being said folks

let's begin with

so Netflix made a Godzilla movie no no no not that one this is an anime

okay stop j4 you're getting out of control here no no no that is wrong here

here here let me fix this um Godzilla can you please take care of

this wannabe

there it's dead no more mention of them movie or cartoon ever again

Netflix made a Godzilla anime movie that is to be part one in a trilogy of anime

films the biggest concern for fans was does Godzilla work as an anime and I

think Netflix answered with a resounding yes

now before warned though this movie is an anime movie before it is a Godzilla

movie and in fact there may be more Godzilla in the 2014 Godzilla movie than

there is in this one but what this movie has over that movie is that it captures

the fear in destruction that Godzilla represents whereas in the 2014 Godzilla

movie Godzilla just kind of happens where in this movie Godzilla is a

reckoning he's a reminder and a beast of pure raw power and strength that is

meant to Humble humanity and bring it to the ground by a shaking scared and

quivering knees you may have wanted Godzilla versus some kind of kaiju like

the Muto or Rodin but what we got was something closer to what Godzilla is

actually meant to represent in the original films an unbridled force of

sheer destruction and power that cannot be tamed by man in the original movie is

Godzilla represented the ultimate form of untamed untapped power present human

history at the time a short time ago an American airplane

dropped one bomb on Hiroshima and this nuclear fission

Godzilla's first rampage was inspired by the destruction of Hiroshima and

Nagasaki now it's important to point out that after a while Japan no longer

blamed America for the destruction of their two cities as much as they had

before but they came to realize that the wanton destruction of mankind was to

blame Japan heavily included themselves in that description dedicating all their

efforts to never participate calls or influence anything close to DoDEA - or

the dropping of the bombs fat man and little boy ever again

guardzilla was created to represent mankind's self-destructive tendencies

and the realization that most bad things that happen to the world mankind

inflicts upon itself and that is very much what it feels like in this movie

with how this movie's story is told humanity has fled earth because

Godzilla's rampage threatened the whole of humanity on earth humans leave in

search of a new planet failing to do so for 22 years

in that span of time the legendary rampage became a boogeyman story for

children and the ever pressing realization that a habitable planet may

not be found for hundreds or even thousands of years causing these

remnants of humanity to doubt they should have ever left to begin with and

they should have stayed and fought instead of fleeing from their one true

home so after using faster than light traveled they sped back to earth

arriving in what felt like 22 years for them 20,000 years for Earth and for

Godzilla now I don't want to spoil the great ending for the first part of three

movies because it's honestly something you should see for yourself and if I'm

being 100% honest it is an all inspiring moment and it left me slack-jawed with

white eyes cuz by the end you realize why humanity ran away

but honestly it banks so much on what happens from beginning to end that I

can't really tell you much pretty much what I told you in this in this video is

most of the beginning of it which I will say that's one plan of tension I had

with it it gives you a bit of a montage of the history of Godzilla and why the

story is going the way it is and I thought that was kind of fast and kind

of rush but it makes sense if they actually went through all that history

then there really you just have a regular Godzilla movie that takes place

on earth now as it is whereas this this is a story about

humanity running away in fear and coming back to a world unknown and that's very

interesting so I'm gonna say it about for its belt - about an hour 20 minutes

long I think or hour 27 weeks long so about 45 minutes into it that's that's

the stuff that you're actually been expecting in Legacy and you actually got

a lot of questions answered I found myself asking several questions that

made me worry that the movies just gonna ignore the land it didn't ignore little

bit actually addressing every question that I thought I had about Godzilla at

least and that whole especially the whole 20,000 year gap that Godzilla

experienced to the 22 years ago and the reason for

that is that they travel effects to the light to one part of the galaxy and then

back so Devin it was 22 years and that was 11 years no no 22 years and then

they traveled back to earth even faster than before risking actually destroying

their entire fleet essentially to give back to earth and the span of about a

month maybe less than that it might have been like almost instantaneous so for

them 22 years with Godzilla 20,000 years so which they thought was only 10,000

years so that's very interesting and so having said I don't mean to keep

rambling my best description of the show and this is just my easiest descriptors

I'm not saying it's exactly this that it has to be this or that everyone's going

to see like this no no I would say attack on Titan by the sheer size and

imposing figure that Godzilla is and his complete disregard for Humanity that's

what he represents many so that's a big theme in attack on Titan and then Mass

Effect Andromeda you're probably thinking message Andromeda that's a

horrible game and a horrible story no that's right all right and basically

what I say is that like humans leaving for no galaxy is kind of where I'm

getting at well that's like the drama was about leaving one galaxy for another

because there was a huge threat back they had the other galaxy and for this

show we took Godzilla and then meets Godzilla so attack on Titan means mess

like the drama defeats Godzilla and if the ending is a good payoff in my

opinion like I was very angry with the Batman vs. Superman movie because it

only has its a looks like a three-hour movie with a 20-minute payoff and it

really made me mad this is an hour and 27 minute movie with a scene at the very

end that probably spans about five minutes

this is way worse the late it is jaw-dropping I mean I'm not even joking

this is this was my face and this reenactment there you go so that being

said folks I will end the show here and if you haven't subscribe to the channel

hit that subscribe button down below give it a like share around your friends

and I'll see you guys on the other side so see you guys later

bye-bye oh and Wordsworth Peppa

Six gov't offices lay out plans to boost innovative growth - Duration: 2:07.

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon was briefed by six government ministries today... on their

plans to boost innovative growth this year to better prepare for the so-called 'Fourth

Industrial Revolution.'

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

Six government offices, including the Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the Ministry of

Trade, Industry and Energy... have outlined their action plans for the year to Prime Minister

Lee Nak-yon.

In a briefing held on Wednesday,... the ministries said they'll focus on creating an ecosystem

that encourages innovation and convergence so that the country can be better equipped

for the so-called 'Fourth Industrial Revolution.'

(Korean) "The term is referred to as a 'creative destruction'

that has the power to destroy the old industrial order to create a new one... and its effects

are to be wide-ranging to create ripple effects in areas including culture, education, environment,

economy and health.

Korea should be equipped with the right technologies and social security systems to deal with these

changes."

To do that, the ministries said they'll work on building an infrastructure that supports

super-connectivity as well as improving people's livelihoods through advances in science and

technology.

They will also aim at making achievements in key innovative sectors including those

related to renewable energy, electric and autonomous vehicles, drones and smart cities.

The trade ministry says it'll expand Korea's trade relations with ASEAN member countries

and India while increasing collaboration with traditional partners, namely the U.S. and

China, in areas concerning the services sector and high-tech.

Other steps include making strides to revitalize the fintech sector as well as the nation's

junior index KOSDAQ to boost startups.

(standup ed: steve) "The Office for Government Policy Coordination

says it plans to focus on deregulation to help foster new industries and technologies.

It'll submit revisions for the implementation of a regulatory sandbox to the National Assembly

by next month.

Uzuhan - Heavy Hitters (ft. NAK & Sam Ock) [CC Lyrics] - Duration: 4:14.

Yuh Yuh Trigger alert

Here's your warning now

Keep my ear to ground

One eye open when I lay down

Opinions are not my concern

I'm guessing you haven't heard

Talking too much.

These internet thugs are toxic

Blocking out all of the nonsense

I ain't listening to hate

I ain't listening today

Lazy hands are going broke

Potential's something you don't waste

I gotta go and get it

Grip on the plow, I cultivate it

Don't count us out in closing minutes

Look at us now a photo finish!

Worried a bunch, stuck in a rut.

Downtown tryna find an inspiration

Not good enough.

Down in the dumps.

Sometimes hated that I was so Asian.

Wanted acceptance

I was so different

What was I missing?

Blinded by lies, I couldn't see fact or fiction

I realized that I reached an all time low

God gave the sauce I'm a baste in all that gold

(So I'll) ride around with that moleskine

Practice swings in that bullpen

Heavy hitter come game time

I'm DiMaggio with that 볼펜 (pen)

[Chorus]

Making a wave (making a wave)

Don't take us lightly (don't take us lightly)

While you're busy talking all that

We're moving in silence (moving in silence)

We dem we dem heavy hitters

We dem we dem heavy hitters

Better get out my way!

We dem heavy hitters

WUH (what did you say)

UZU (try to surprise me)

While you're busy talking all that

We're moving in silence (moving in silence)

We dem we dem heavy hitters

We dem we dem heavy hitters

Better get out my way!

We dem heavy hitters

[Verse - NAK]

I could see a forked tongue in your [loud] mouth

That snake skin on your [handshake]

Whether upstate or its [downtown]:

That talk be tainting your landscape

(Yo Uzu) [I] gotta talk to em' prolly

I oughta be [teaching] the truth…

So I'mma come body the beat

And so obviously making all of it clear to the youth (yeah!)

-- Class in session: [this] is a lecture-

- and everything mentioned will [be] on the test…

[Take] a suggestion: all you

Better be ready 'cause no one exempt… ("open up to")

"Being humble:" first chapter-

- Dumb rappers get the [words] backwards

Drink in the cup in the club with the chicks

Popping the pill with the bud in the mix

Babbling-like you in love with your lips…

…But why do you think it's acceptable?

Why do we purchase and play you

While knowing that all the kids are susceptible?

…Like molly and perc and the lean will be jolly

but truth stings:

And true men'll live a [higher] calling

That's not compatible with stupid things

-Our families and communities and these little ones that look up to us

Don't need money, and don't need talk, they need leadership: and it's up to us

…We stay quiet, 'cause heavy hitters ain't out to prove

While ya'll talking how hard you are-- we hit out the park, you talk; we do.

Making a wave (making a wave) Don't take us lightly (don't take us lightly) While you're busy talking all that We're moving in silence (moving in silence)

We dem we dem heavy hitters We dem we dem heavy hitters Better get out my way! We dem heavy hitters

WUH (what did you say) UZU (try to surprise me) While you're busy talking all that We're moving in silence (moving in silence) We dem we dem heavy hitters We dem we dem heavy hitters Better get out my way! We dem heavy hitters

They all be talkin' about

"sleepin' on this," or "tryna stay woke…"

So we be livin' it out

Tryna be faithful, going for broke

Tryna be somebody nobody knows

Tryna live counter to systems and flows

Tryna be better for bettering souls

…but y'all already know though.

Wanna be a good son

Wanna be a better man

Livin' for the legend infinity,

Fellowship Trinity, part of The Plan.

Boy, dem heavy hitters

Sure be sounding real soft…

But I'mma wait and see…

Who pay the real cost.

[Chorus]
