TAKING THE BEST PHOTOS OF YOUR SALTWATER REEF AQUARIUM - Duration: 4:33.What's up reefers! Welcome back.
Today, I'm going to be talking about how I take and edit my photos of my reef aquarium for Instagram or other social media platforms
A lot of people think you need some sort of fancy camera or fancy equipment to be taking really high quality
or nice-looking pictures of your reef tank and this is so far from the truth
I just use my iPhone 7 plus to take all of my pictures of aquarium. I actually have a DSLR camera
But I found that taking pictures with it of my aquarium is just so impossible
So my iPhone is just the easiest way that I take pictures and honestly
I do not feel that the quality is tampered at all in terms of the things that I'm trying to publish so if you want
to be taking really nice quality photos of your reef aquarium,
Don't fret and go out and buy all
sorts of fancy crazy equipment because it's just not necessary. Work with what you already have and you'll be seeing really great pictures
There are a few things that you need to consider when you're actually taking your picture
first make sure
That your lighting has not too many Blues in it and not too many whites at the same time kind of play around with it
Experiment a little bit and figure out what works best for you.
In my tank, I don't have a lot of customization options for my lighting because I still have just basic
biocube stock lighting
So what I do is I just put my normal blues on and my whites at the same time so adds
just kind of this 50/50 color, which works great for me
Also make sure t hat when you're taking the picture you angle your camera straight on
If you take the picture at an angle or from the side, the glass is going to distort the image
So it's going to end up blurry. Make sure that when you take the picture you stay absolutely as still as possible
I know that some people use
tripods or things of that nature to
help with this. I typically don't like to use a tripod honestly, because most of the time
I'm too lazy to get it out
But I do have this little handheld tripod for my phone which I got on Amazon which I am going to link below
this thing is really great for helping you stay still because
You can set it down on the table or something like that, but if I'm using it to take a picture
I just stick my phone in there and hold it. Even though you're still holding it,
It kind of eliminates a lot of that shakiness that co ntributes to a blurry image, so that's really helpful when you are taking your pictures.
So once I have my picture taken, as I do here, I like to edit the settings a bit
I do not have any set filter or pre-set settings that I use to edit my photos
I just kind of see what works for the picture and go from there
But I know people tend to prefer brighter pictures and also
Vertical pictures because they show up brighter, and they are larger when you post them on Instagram and other social networks
So this is something. I keep in mind when taking my photo and editing it
I j
I just start kind of messing with the settings until I get something that I really like. I always start with brilliance to make the picture
more striking
Turn that up a little bit
Increase some of the highlights, make the picture brighter, also the shadows, overall brightness
too much. Contrast
Also like to increase the saturation a little bit and the color contrast to make it look bright and beautiful
Warm the picture up a little bit
And lastly I like to increase the sharpness of the picture to make it more clear
And that's really all that I do to edit my photos. It is really simplistic
I use my iPhone editing once I take the picture or the editing that comes with my Mac computer however
You can use any type of application these are just basic edits that you can make so really any program works
And that's all it is
If you found this information about what equipment I use to take my photos
And how I edit them useful make sure to like this video below

or have any suggestions for videos you would like to see in the future post a comment below and

Our Most Important Campaign Deadline So Far Is Here – And Here I - Duration: 6:50.Our Most Important Campaign Deadline So Far Is Here And Here Is The Shocking Reason
I Am Not Asking For Any Money
The most important deadline that we have faced so far is at midnight on Sunday, but I am
not going to ask you for any money.
I just want to say thank you to everyone that has donated, volunteered and prayed over the
past six months.
Without all of your efforts, it would have been impossible for us to be within striking
distance of victory here in Idahos first congressional district with just a little
more than four months to go until election day.
When I first announced that I would be running, many people told me that it would be impossible
for a political outsider to win in this district, but we are proving the naysayers wrong.
We are so far ahead of where we thought that we would be at this point, and our opponents
are literally freaking out over how well we are doing.
As the December 31st deadline approaches, my opponents have been sending out email after
email in a desperate scramble for money.
The reason why I know this is true is because we are on all of their email lists.
But I have decided that we are not going to do the same thing.
Yes, we need support just as badly as they do, but I am simply going to trust the Lord
that the resources will come in.
We have already told our supporters what our needs are, and we are going to trust that
the Lord will move in the hearts of those that are supposed to give.
The stakes in this race are exceedingly high.
As we look at the numbers, it appears likely that one particular opponent is likely to
emerge victorious if I do not win next May.
If he wins, it will be a complete and utter disaster for the Trump movement.
This particular opponent fought to keep Donald Trump out of the White House, his campaign
has repeatedly attacked my faith, and by lying over and over again he has demonstrated that
he simply does not have the moral character to serve in Congress.
Members of Congress make decisions that affect every man, woman and child in the entire country,
and if this particular individual wins this open seat, the swamp in Washington D.C. will
get deeper, wider and much more icky.
So what can you do to help?
Well, what we need more than anything right now are volunteers.
If you would like to volunteer for the campaign, you can do so
There are ways to get involved no matter where you may live.
One of our top priorities right now is enlisting social media warriors.
Facebook and other social media websites are the marketplaces of today, and we need people
that will help us spread our pro-Trump message online.
So what does a social media warrior actually do?
Well, first of all we need people to help us promote the material that we are constantly
posting on our official campaign Facebook page.
If we can get a core group of people to visit the page daily and like, share and comment
on the material that we post, that will make an enormous difference.
You see, when a Facebook post starts getting even just a few likes, shares and comments,
Facebooks algorithm notices that people are engaging with that particular piece of
content and begins showing it to even more people.
So if we could even get just 10 of you to like, share and comment on the material on
our Facebook page on a daily basis, that could double or triple the number of voters here
in Idaho that each item reaches.
Secondly, we need social media warriors that would be willing to serve as ambassadors
for our campaign all over Facebook.
Over the next four months there will be endless debates about this campaign wherever Idaho
politics is being discussed on Facebook, and we need representatives from our campaign
engaging in those discussions.
Dont worry you dont have to be an expert to do this.
You just need to know our basic positions on the issues, and you can find them right
here and right here.
Wherever Idaho politics is being talked about, we want our people to be there to help share
our pro-Trump message.
If you live in Idahos first congressional district, there is another way that you can
help.
Starting this month, we are going to have teams go door to door passing out campaign
material all over the district.
We have a very specific plan for doing this, and if you are interested we very much encourage
you to attend one of our upcoming strategy sessions.
We will be holding one in northern Idaho, one in central Idaho and one in south Idaho,
and please stay tuned to our campaign website for the date and location for each event.
More important than anything else I have just mentioned, we need prayer.
The Lord has been raising up intercessors from coast to coast, and one of the themes
that keeps coming up over and over again is that this is a spiritual conflict.
Just like the presidential election, this is really shaping up to be a battle of good
vs. evil, and there are times when I have really felt the strain.
So please pray for us.
This has been a very challenging race for both Meranda and I, and we truly had no idea
how vicious and evil our opponents would be when we first got into this.
We value our reputations very, very highly, and for someone to make up lies about our
faith and to drag our good names through the mud just to win an election is absolutely
repugnant to everything that we stand for.
The good news is that the backlash against those that are dragging our names through
the mud has been tremendous, and all of the garbage that has been thrown our direction
has just made it more likely that we will win.
From this moment forward, it will be a mad sprint to the finish line on May 15th.
I would like every single one of you to be part of this team, and we have 17 different
ways that you can get involved on our volunteer page.
The Lord has shown me that I cannot do this alone.
It is going to require a total team effort to win this thing, and if we all trust in
Him and we all work together, then I truly believe that all things are possible.
In Liberty,

I missed sister Reyhan, so much.

Never mind, Elif.
It would be better if you had told me, but...

Apology accepted!
Thank you.

Because you're Süreyya!

Asus ROG Swift PG65 - Extra allt och lite till i en gamingskärm (Eng sub) - Duration: 4:05.If santa claus asked a really serious, nerdy gamer:
"What do you want in a gaming monitor?" He probably would have gotten a list that described the ROG Swift PG65
Or some other version of Nvidias new BFGD monitors
Big Format Gaming Displays are totally bananas
We're talking gaming 65 inch gaming monitors with 4K resolution, HDR with up to 1000 nits
120 Hertz refresh rate with G-Sync support
Oh, and it also comes with a built-in Nvidia Shield, Android OS
And it's just completely bananas
I have a 65 inch OLED TV at home that I really like. I sit rather close to it
But to come in here and stand in front of a 65 inch monitor like this is just incomparable
Well then, the last piece of the puzzle: I have as I stated an OLED TV at home.
I would have loved for this monitor to have OLED aswell
This is a VA panel
Or so we've been told. Everyone been quite secretive about that detail.
But rumors say this panel is indeed VA
And is going to have 4K resolution with a brightness of 1 000 nits.
We've been testing this monitor now, me and Johan have been standing here doing a bit of gaming
And as to quote Johan: "Why is everyone complaining about it being too big?
"You just have to turn your head a bit!"
We're standing about 50 centimetres away from this monitor and we're doing a bit of gaming
And sure, you have to turn your head around quite a bit
But if you would be positioned around 10 - 20 centimetres further away
The experience would be amazing
And you really see everything in much greater detail when the monitor is of this size
There's a reason people still pay good money to see movies at the cinema
Big monitor, big picture really makes a difference
So what is this monitor like in general?
We're not going to give it too much praise since this is still a prototype
Asus couldn't give us a launch date yet
They've had some problems with different bugs and such
But it's most likely going to get better.
But we can clearly see now that the backlighting on this monitor is excellent
And gives a really nice and smooth lighting distribution
It's not an OLED with organic pixels but it's still of good quality
And it is really fast and responsive, something that you don't get with TV monitors this size
We have no information about the response time as of yet. But hopefully we'll get the full specs later on
So all in all: The focus is on the size, this monitor is absolutely crazy
It's awesome and you can't help but wanting to get one yourself
We're excited for when we get the chance to really test one out
And we have no idea when that could happen
If I were to guess I'd say it could take until next year
If we look at how the latest monitor releases from Asus and Acer have been
It's a really advanced monitor, and for those wondering: it doesn't have a TV tuner
So if you have to pay tax for TV tuners you'd just say "No, I actually have a PG65!"
But you can do other stuff through the Nvidia shield
Like watch livestreams, Netflix, you name it.
And all that through the use of one single monitor.
So what about the price?
We have no idea. If I would make another guess
Somewhere between 25 000 and 50 000 SEK maybe something like that
I really have no idea. It's probably going to be really expensive
But I'm sure there's alot of people wanting to have one.

سيدكاستيك - ليلة كتاب - Man's Search for Meaning - Duration: 2:19.Welcome our dearest friends,
Maybe, just maybe..
One of the best books I have ever read.
The book shows you how
If they are able to take everything from you;
your belonging, your money, your friends..
everything..
They wouldn't be able to take away from you the power to choose your own meaning
Any they wouldn't be able to take away from you the power to pick your reaction.
The book is about
A psychiatrist. His name is Viktor Frankl
He is a Jewish who lived during the Second World War.
It's more or less between 1935 and 1945
As a Jewish,
He was taken by the Nazis during the Second World War
And he was taken to Auschwitz;
which was one of the scariest and deadliest concentration camps in Europe.
His mother, father, wife, and brother all died in those concentration camps.
And other than that,
They took away everything from him'
They even gave him a serial number instead of his name
Dr. Frankl.
[He] was able to find a meaning in one of the most miserable human experiences.
Through his experience in the concentration camp; taking into consideration that he was a psychiatrist,
Dr. Frank created a school in psychology called Logotherapy
It is similar to the school of psychoanalysis of Freud or Behaviorism of Watson
[Dr.Frank] created Logotherapy that is built on the importance in pursuing finding a meaning
This book in general is for everyone who is in the pursuit of finding a meaning to their life
of discovering a Why, or maybe to anyone who wants to find meaning in their sufferance.
From 0 to 10,
I would give it..
9.5

Must See: Hillary Slams Trump for 'Abuse of Power,' Warns Him Not to Prosecute Her [VIDEO] - Duration: 5:05.Must See: Hillary Slams Trump for 'Abuse of Power,' Warns Him Not to Prosecute Her
[VIDEO] Vile Hillary Clinton is scared out of her
mind right now – without question.
She knows her 'Uranium One' Russia scandal isn't going away anytime soon.
The DOJ is onto her schemes.
Why else would she lash out like this?
From Politico: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
has slammed President Donald Trump for suggesting that a special prosecutor investigate her
role in the Uranium One deal, a current cause célèbre among conservative commentators
and some House Republican lawmakers.
"Taking myself out of it, this is such an abuse of power and it goes right at the rule
of law," Clinton told Mother Jones in an interview posted Wednesday night.
"As secretary of state, I went around the world bragging about America's rule of law.
… If they send a signal that we are going to be like some dictatorship, some authoritarian
regime where political opponents are going to be unfairly, fraudulently investigated,
that rips at the fabric of the contract that we have that we can trust our justice system."
More, via Daily Caller: Clinton's comments are regarding her time
serving as secretary of state.
Russia routed millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, and former President Bill Clinton
collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in Russian speaking fees as part of Russian
efforts to influence the U.S. government to approve the deal, The Hill reported.
Republican chairmen of two House committees announced in late October they would launch
a probe into a Uranium One deal and former President Barack Obama-era Justice Department's
investigation of the deal.

Should We Forgive Logan Paul? - Duration: 7:03.People make mistakes.
Of course they do.
Some mistakes are big with cataclysmic, irreversible results and some are small and are salvageable.
It goes without saying that we will all make mistakes in our lifetime, but it is the reason
behind the error and how we react which will define how we are treated in the aftermath.
Logan Paul recently made a mistake, but is it one he can come back from?
Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I am Rebecca Felgate and today
I am asking Should We Forgive Logan Paul.
Before we launch into this video, I just want to ask those of you who are new here to subscribe
to our channel, and for all of you to leave a thumbs up if you like this video and a comment
at the end to continue the debate.
So before we decide if Logan Paul should be forgiven, I think it is important to understand
what exactly it is he did wrong and how he responded.
Logan Paul has been making videos on Youtube for little over a year, having already garnered
a following on Vine and in his Disney Channel show.
Logan's content has always been built on drama and shock content, which is something
Youtube has been regularly promoting on their trending page and something which his fans,
the notorious Logang, have enjoyed…but recently he took it too far in a vlog titled We found
a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest.
As we know by now, Logan Paul isn't the first Youtuber to have visited the forest,
or the first youtube video to show dead people in it…however it was the way in which he
handled combining those two things where he went wrong.
So, what was wrong with the trip if other people have gone; Logan wore what a lot of
people consider to be disrespectful clothing – so, a bright green alien hat.
When entering a known suicide spot, a lot of people found this distasteful.
They also found his handling of the topic distasteful and the jovial banter between
he and his friends as they entered the forest before they stumbled across the body.
You wouldn't walk around a veteran war memorial or holocaust museum with a smile on your face,
so why would entering a known suicide spot be any different?
Then, the biggest mistake of all, was showing the dead body on camera, sometimes with a
blur, but sometimes, at a distance, without enough blur.
He made it clear that the victim was real, and there was a lot of air time given to the
corpse.
After showing the corpse, he continued to joke, now of course this could be gallows
syndrome; sometimes people laugh in horrible situations as a strange psychological side
effect.
However, instead of omitting this from his video, he still posted the whole thing – footage
of corpse and all – to his youtube channel.
Big mistake.
He made the situation even worse for himself in his first apology on youtube by offering
up an excuse for his actions, then post-facing his apology with hashtag Logang for life,
Before we get into the matter of forgiveness, lets be fair to Logan and see what he did
right.
So, he did include a warning at the beginning of his video, he did include a anti suicide
hotline number and an anti suicide message, even if it was delivered with a lack of sincerity.
He did also issue two apology's…yes, the first was a little tarnished, but the second
did seem slightly more genuine, and he hasn't posted a video since, saying he is taking
time out to think.
It seems like he is genuinely sorry, …whether or not because that is because of the backlash,
or because he realises the error in his actions is a totally different question.
So…what exactly is Logan guilty of here: I guess the answer is just being extremely
distasteful, disrespectful and a bit of an idiot.
He didn't do anything illegal, he wasn't spouting any kind of hate speech against minorities…he
just showed himself to be a culturally insensitive idiot.
Compared the liked of Harvey Weinstein who's career in film is over, Logan is incomparable.
Weinstein is a sexual predator and shouldn't be forgiven…Logan Paul is just a bit of
an idiot.
The matter of whether or not he can be forgiven kind of lies in whether or not he can learn
from this mistake and become a more responsible content creator.
Instead of entirely pointing the finger at Logan….we should maybe look at our own viewing
habbits and the platform that allowed him his success, youtube.
Maybe we should be asking if we should forgive youtube, or if we should we forgive ourselves
for feeding his fame?
Before Logan deleted his video, it was on the Youtube TopTrending page and had had 6
million views.
The platform has always promoted Logan's work, no matter how poor taste it has been
in the last.
Also, the platform failed to condemn him properly in their statement following the incident.
But is youtube just responding by pushing the content they know viewers like to watch,
or have they chosen Logan Paul to be their star themselves?
If so…should the platform do better to advise him on what exactly is appropriate and what
isn't?
Again…are we, the viewers to blame here?
Logan Paul's video was a culmination of the growing and hugely popular shock culture
on Youtube.
Like Philip Defranco points out in his excellent video on the topic – we need to talk about
the Logan Paul problem – everything has become content.
Through over dramatization and clickbait, people have become so desensitized to shock
content they forget this is real.
Logan, like the rest of us, lost touch with reality.
Logan clearly is not the most intelligent guy and is known for his clownlike over the
top behaviour.
Give someone like that a huge amount of praise and success for those attributes - without
the right team behind him of course this was going to happen….he made a stupid mistake,
but really, we the viewers are to blame for feeding his ego and stupidity, Youtube is
to blame for promoting it and therefore condoning it, and those who support Logan professional
are at blame for feeding his God Complex and not managing him better.
This is why you cannot surround yourself with Yes men, and this is why supporting someone
blindly without ever questioning their actions is VERY dangerous.
The Logang should be holding Logan Paul accountable for his content, praising him when he gets
it right and questioning when he gets it wrong.
So…there is my answer for you.
I hope we all realise that the problem is much deeper than Logan Paul.
Logan himself may deserve a second chance, but if people keep making reckless content,
and Youtube keeps promoting it and viewers keep watching it, we're headed down a dangerous
path/ What do you guys think?
Let me know in the comments section below.
Also do leave a thumbs up and share this video with a friend.

I'll catch you soon, but for now, stay curious, stay alert and never ever stop questioning.

SPEAKING THE TRUTH - MIKE TYSON [MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH] - Duration: 22:34.I was never able to understand the concept of greatness I've just never was
able to understand that concept of greatness and as time went on and I've
gotten older and I'm from I met many journeys on people that I met on my
journey and people who I've read about on my journey I read that um all
greatness the majority of greatness in itself doesn't come with goodness the
two don't coexist with one another and I spent all my life trying to become great
because I had such a low self-esteem and and I realized I'm late in life my
family's ever late in my life that um all great men are not good man and then
so I try to embark on a whole different career and try to become good but what's
the concept of good being a floor mat I never understood the concept of good the
concept is good is pretty much then I must be a politician because politicians
always striking for goodness and always trying to win votes some people and only
way only thing that we went both because they believed that we're good so how do
we live in those two dimensions at once you want that greatness for self
gratification but you want goodness from a human perspective and I and I really
have no idea and no clue how to I am how do I juggle both of them and being
harmony and then in all actuality they don't exist you have to pick a side
I respect the person who's willing to die for what he truly wants even if it's
love even if it's a woman whatever is it that he truly believed them and that I
believe that he he it transcends him to that um that level to UM demand
it's a lovely sensitive for instance um I look at love with a command to just
rise to your greatest potential you know and that's how people should feel the
objectives should be derived to their best potential in life if it's to lose
thirty pounds if it's the past test they should be to win a fight the to be
admired by people all over the world it should allow you to rate rise to your
greatest potential that you look at yourself in the most grandest fashion
my mother um she's a Southern woman from the Virginia area and I'm what I found
out later and I'm I only can remember for a small period of my small real
small increment of my life that I lived in vessel Stuyvesant in the early middle
70s eventually we had the move we were evicted we had to leave the house all of
our friends who had really politely decorated the concrete outside so we
have to me and my brother I guess forget to sit on the furniture
the way to my mother can get a place for us to stay and it was just after that
was pretty much hard times welfare when we moved to Brownsville which was a much
more aggressive neighborhood and it just wasn't good it was just some
crime-infested drugging fest in the neighborhood and it was very aggressive
and my mother had know a lot of men her and her friends know a lot of men there
wouldn't be um it wouldn't be a normal for me to uh come from one of my friends
house I come outside a man and the woman that's in my mom one of my mother's womb
I my mother's in the room when a man in a woman we can't go in the room but we
have to stay outside in the kitchen perhaps or the living room and we can't
go in the back of the room until that finish and that's just how our life's
been and as time went on I've learned to what people were in the back that I
would and they fell asleep I will go in their
pockets and take their money and that's just how it been that's just what it was
all about I don't have to steal at a younger younger younger they're yummy
yeah very young learn how to steal another well my mother friends were in
our house they were drinking I learned to go in their house and the fights came
and robbed the house where they were downstairs drinking with my mother and
that's just some that's just well into jail and my life they used to bully me
in school and so I never went back to school so well my mother used to send me
to school I was yes people hanging around the school walking around the
school and after you know normally we have security guard the truant officer
they see me I would take off and run I hide in the building I've had the
building but I'm normally um my mother knew I wasn't going to school then I met
some guys one day and they did to ripping me off and they really they I
have no money and then but on lunchtime I was going schooling eat lunch and then
leave school again so especially when they had been meatballs and spaghetti so
um one time these guys um they wanted to rip me off and I have no money to
actually do you want to fly birds with me sorry what do you mean did you want
to fly with us and then I realized that they um they took me this abandoned
building but they wanted me to get my milk the milk was climbing the fences
don't milk crates over to them and I didn't understand why they wanted to no
crate but I did it anyway because I was kind of scared but and then they had to
go to this abandoned building I didn't know what they were gonna do to me in
that building you know so when I want to be I saw on the roof they had pigeons
and then after that I never went to the UM I never went to school again once I
was friend that had a pinnacle and I could beat these guys flunky then go to
the store for them and if the birds will harbour there in horrible condition so
the birds will fly for a little while in their land on another roof and then make
me get up and going that route shouldn't keep the bird off the roof so I would go
to all these rules that the lady birds flew on and scare the
birds off hoping that they would go back to the roof where the guys were and I
took that pretty cool cuz I took one in because at least somebody wanted me do
something for so the next day instead of go back around walking around school I
went to the pigeon coop and the guy saw me and he said excuse me young man this
is what you're doing and they started throwing bricks at me and why they were
on the roof and I said hey hey I just came around to see your guys need me to
do anything for y'all today like help with the birds I go to the store food
that's all but they had thought that I was coming back around and steal their
birds and I had no concept of stealing birds back then I just wanted some place
to hang out instead of walking around the streets all day so I will be on the
roof with these guys who I didn't know who might have killed me also right so
um this year go and then they throw out some ACOTA strong get some cigarettes
and get a knee-high soldier after don't break Sammy you know it's our girls
stiff and so the guys go like this school is over and stuff but they tell
me um we're going to the center tonight we're gonna go to them the after-school
center this is where um I don't know the poverties trucking people people living
the projects they have a center there you Center and they go to in there
playing music they got a jam in the center so we're gonna go to the center
and so um oh man I'm listening so I said okay I want to go to can I go and I said
okay yeah sure you can come but I'm a young kid had no concept of you had to
wash yeah and so when I went to the sinners as I still have all the stuff
guitar of stuff from being an opinion cook helping to build a coop so you know
we have tar paper so we have to put tar to put the tar paper in the coop and
when doing on a little um home design network on there right and so I'm I have
tire on me and I have bird done on me and so when we go back I never went home
and washed I just had the same clothes I had and when I went there the kids dad
was gonna lose their Pro Tools they all had new clothes on and they all
laughed at me and everybody felt laughing me and I was
getting a bouncer laughing - and one of the guys that was on the roof he had
said um won't you come around here look like
this engine will wash and he said meaning after roof with a burglar you
met me today even though that guy wasn't in his pigeon but he was there he was
looking for one of those other guy his brother he was older he said meet me at
the roof so you hear me sure they meet me a picnic were you where today and I'm
when I'm assuming I'm like a schmuck oh so um I want that I met him early in the
morning just like we go to school so I met him at the pigeon coop and from then
on me and him started robbing houses because I was younger than him so he
would tell me they're not gonna ring the doorbell knock on the door and if
someone comes over say you're looking for this guy he'd give me a Jewish name
or something or give me some name he s knew what to say the right stuff of what
neighborhood and I didn't know I didn't then they found out nobody there he
would pick the lock he bet the kid picked the locks we were going
everywhere I'm gonna find money guns Jimmy it was just why I was just such a
rush being into my house and you see them and then luxury then it's yours and
he didn't give me much money but he bought me a lot of clanks with some
clothes he said you go back to the ceiling looking like this and then I
went to that Center than those it was a whole different of it was totally
different everybody wanna be my friend they were
so my head at the time I was younger at the fun time you had only I came for now
digital it's a digital right the digital walked remember that stuff we had
digital watches and long gene watches and I was just a young look at myself in
ten oh my oh my name in ten but I'm I had one once I had a long gene where I
said nothing it was a gold watch at one time and I had two digit quartz but I
like to digitize cuz I was a kid I liked to see the numbers light up kick you
kick you kick you I can't even tell time back there but I had the watches and
stuff and they used to call me dirty Mike dirty Ike and it wasn't because I
had bad cold always had the best clothes I always had was on the pinion coupe and
always got him dirty and tall and I would never change my clothes and we're
I would never do that I would never change my clothes to put on some raggedy
clothes and be seen and raggedy clothes could I've been traumatized from that
experience when I went to the the daycares and after-school Center so I've
always just wear my nice clothes on the pinnacle and they always get dirty and I
would just go home and change the trinamool nice clothes you know
till this day I'm the same way always make sure they have nice clothes on no
matter wherever I go I'm playing with pigeons if I'm playing soccer and I'm
picking up the garbage and it's just um I'm gonna just have been a squirrel I
mean since them guys humiliated me that they're never had them this is really
interesting when I met cuz I even though the street kids and I would come weather
like a tough guy I never had an ego I was never really jealous of anybody I
never really thought most of myself much of myself but when I met cussing I
started talking because I'm he made me believe that I was a god
he made me believe that um friends console sated no cuffs cuffs I say now
you see you hear this cuz cuz I had a really fun I had this really make
lemonade let me tell you saying all the prophets all the gods you ever know
about if they had a Sunday cousin meet my fighter know why cuz he's my fighter
but this guy always come he says I'm on my mind to get the better of me your
mind you don't have your mind on your work you're not being discipline he
really really knew that he always believed that his mind could heal
anything he believed if he had cancer is mine Cahill can't he was a strong
believer that your body only purpose was to carry your brain you know he was just
some amazing and most of its fighting was mostly psychologically he believed
on physical physical actuality of boxing was only ten percent when the mind was
90 percent he always believed in improving
self and strengthen in your mind and you really couldn't do that just by talk you
had to do it by action and practice number the animal but a sophisticated
animal smart animal the lying in the Fox you know me I call so I could beat the
vicious guys and I got was smart the slickster so I was um I'm pretty much
director when after that apartment pretty much but then what really was the
turning point is that there was nobody that could reach the core like Cusco no
one could um inspire me Muse more than that he wasn't let no one say anything
negative about me and I'm an any fighter someone said something negative about me
he was the old man he would attack them literally
yes physically
you only know by Allah when in negativity to even sleep through my um
anything seek to my psychic know everything with that I'm I'm invincible
I'm a savage I'm ferocious and the smartest Savage I don't even think that
way anymore he always had me read mostly um books about war called von Clausewitz
yeah um this guy was pretty interesting guy he had really read Nietzsche and
this is why I custom read all those books cuz was pretty much of an
intellect but he was an intellectual and philosopher about war and he thought
fighting was a form of war you know and he took fighting with um cuz really
thought he was like born 2,000 years to world he should have been a Roman
gladiator or something because he believed he believed fighting was um
your opponent surrender his total destruction and he didn't think of it as
um even though he said it was savage and ferociously you had to do it in such a
relaxed and calm state you know without any emotions and I'm totally emotional
guy all over the place so that thing you're saying work out but um that's
what he was all about I mean a really scientific way of destroying to him he
armed him Wow he enjoyed hurting the opponent he will
never have a chance and there's a quote in Makaveli the prince and when they say
after you defeat after you defeat the king and you cut off his head you be
audacious and you say what you're gonna do to the next rule and the next con and
the next time prince that you're gonna conquer and that allows them to be
intimidated and um it speaks valium
different levels of success some people's successes I'm not using drugs
not drinking anymore some people's successes making a million
now some other people's success in making a billion dollars
some people's success is not going to prison no more and we had totally
different levels of success I was born with great perception it became from my
street life from being locked up for stealing and facing unbelievable arthur
the young kid had great perception and once i watched this guy fight i just
knew it was a matter of time but i know my time was soon come i know i want to
paint my goal before it existed I knew that I knew it would be champ of the
world before I died I know I wasn't gonna die before I became champ
you know dying is just as glorious as living when you really think about it
because you couldn't have a life if you didn't have death and you couldn't have
death with our life so how can dust be less glorious in life they both went to
intertwine with one another
I wanted to make us proud that was my whole existence for fine I want to make
him proud I never know what I would like to have a fighter
no skin their father so now I understand what some kids must feel when they can't
make their fathers happy because he would do anything for me I was just some
and I don't think that way now I was just um I was just disappointed that it
kills them back then but that was just my main objective because I wanted to
succeed so bad and I was failed and um the fear of not succeeding was worse
than dying so I just wanted to make sure they never got up that was everything my
whole life he's been fighting the world best lie in the world there's nobody on
the planet that could be I could be anybody on the planet and a fair fight
and that's what I always believed you know I never dream think about that now
but just to be in that state of mind I could be anybody that I'm not one day I
said this and I'm I'm so hard I'm sorry I'm so happy that I don't think that way
anymore I was having an interview and I and I start thinking about cooks because
it's pretty you know arrogant and cussed said and I said wanna customer that's it
I was being interviewed and I said how many people in the pool how many people
in this planet afterward around five billion people six billion I thought
could be every one of them and a fair fight and that's what I believed at the
time but it sounds so good say that and I think can't believe I had the audacity
to say that I'm I'm I was a young kid and I was getting put on the front cover
of maybe Ring Magazine at the time Big Time magazine it was could have been
Sports Illustrated but one of these magazine guys got put on the magazine
and there's a bunch of cameras around there and I was feeling myself I was
while smiling laughs with the guys like it was a big shot and then right after
that cuff said I'm grab to throw my mom we clean the gym and I whoa and that's
just what I had to do you know I used to do my place with him into my place you
know they think I would say with other people I would never stay with him you
only had to call me one time and I will be there whenever they hey be there in a
minute
that could eject greatness without being great and that's why I succeeded so much
I would quote book so quote um stuff from great warriors um Pericles and all
that stuff I'm going to be 6,000 people six billion people in a fair fight come
on it can be believed but doesn't necessarily have to be true and I could
reject that belief in the minds of others I'm not afraid to lose in life
I'm not afraid to do anything I won't do anything matter fact I won't do anything
matter sect like my show there's nothing I would do unless I have a possibility
of being humiliated if I can't be humiliated on if I fail I don't want to
do it because only by doing that I would rise to my highest potential without
what the fact that I might be humiliated and I don't want that to happen but when
it does happen then I will truly be humiliated
because when I succeed I truly succeed
a room without a book it's like a body without a soul you know we have to it's
the only way that we could connect the future with the past without that
there's no way that we can come in no way we can know about the future I know
about the feet I know about particularly the past or
the present you know because when you think about history the value of history
is not necessarily scientific but moral by liberating our minds and you know
deepening our sympathies and fortifying our will we are we can control pretty
much history allows us to control not society but our self which is a much
more important thing to do you know I mean and it would allow us to pretty
much meet the future more so than fatality
I've always thought comfort from my opinions no matter where I live I always
have them and I've collect special breeds of pigeon
they're called roller pigeons Sir Anthony Hopkins played Hannibal Lecter
and that great movie he talked about them do you know that a roller pigeon is
you know what a roller pigeon is Barney they claim they climb high and fast and
they roll over and fall justice just as fast towards the earth there are stairs
there's shallow rollers and there are deep rolling
you can breathe too deep rollers or the young will of a roll all the way down
and hit and die it is no surprise that I have an affinity for rollers it is
really something it is really something to watch
they fly higher than all other birds way up on the top of the sky and the way in
the clouds and they just rolled and rolled and rolled down and if they're
lucky they pull out in time before they crash and headfirst into the ground
rollers who are the offsprings of two pairs of deep rollers can do that they
roll so fast that they create a suction and they can't open their wings and it
sticks and if they explode on impact and look terrific to us but it's but if we
put ourselves and we put ourselves into the heart of that bird there's nothing
like that feeling plumb luring down and rolling it is a smorgasbord of endurance
and endorphins both of my parents with deep rollers I was bred to climb high
and high into the sky and tumble down I am truly grateful that I found my wings
before I hit the ground

The Best Cheap Deli in NYC || Operation $5 Lunch - Duration: 7:40.- My name is Prez, and I work at Thrillist.
Around these parts, I'm known as the $5 Lunch Guy.
Every episode, I'm gonna put you guys
onto the very finest New York grub for $5 or less.
Huh.
Delis: that's actually not a bad suggestion.
"Operation 5 Buck Lunch": Delis is a go,
and I know just where to go.
Yeah, I read the comments.
Yo, delis.
The backbone of cheap eats in the city.
Whether you're ordering a wrap or a hero
or some custom sandwich, a proper deli takes the time
to pay attention to the details,
because unlike any other establishment in the city,
the popularity of a deli is by word of mouth only,
with only the best being able to survive in the city.
Now, today, we're heading to M&O Market & Deli
in the middle of SoHo, a mom-and-pop joint
serving up party sandwiches in the middle
of one of the most expensive areas in the city.
Let's go.
So these are the rules of "Operation 5 Buck Lunch."
It's gotta be good, 'cause nobody wants bad food for lunch.
No big chains, 'cause that's just too easy.
It's gotta be $5 or less,
and whatever I don't use today
rolls over into the next episode.
(upbeat hip-hop music)
How would you characterize a deli or a bodega?
- I guess like a small restaurant on the corner
that sells, you know, sandwiches and -- I don't know -- drinks.
- A place where you can get amazing sandwiches.
- Oh, they have everything.
Aside from what they sell, they have culture.
When you go to the bodega, you know you're gonna get music,
it's gonna be everybody hanging out in there.
- So, have you ever had a BLT?
- I honestly don't think I have.
It's such a weird sandwich to me.
- Really?
- What do you like to put on your BLTs?
- Very crispy bacon.
- I mean, bacon's one of the best foods ever.
- The mayonnaise.
- The mayonnaise, really?
Why is that?
- Tastes real good.
I like it sloppy.
(camera shutter clicking)
- Some people like it for the bacon.
Other people like it for the mayonnaise.
But regardless, it's a New York staple,
and we're about to go to one of the best places to get one.
I'm pumped.
Fun fact: SoHo is one of the central districts in New York
and one of the main shopping areas in the city.
Also, it's home to the likes of Alicia Keys,
Samuel L. Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, and Justin Timberlake.
I am starving.
Let's go.
Also, it's raining.
(upbeat music)
(camera shutter clicking)
Here we are, M&O's Market & Deli.
Even from the outside, it looks like a mom-and-pop joint.
Before all of these corporate chains
started building their delis on every single block --
you know who I'm talking about --
this is what a deli used to look like.
And also, they have my sandwich.
And I'm starving, so let's go.
(upbeat music)
So, is this your first time here?
- No, I come here all the time.
- What do you normally get?
- I get everything.
They make a different kind of fresh meat every day,
so, like, pork loin, turkey, meatloaf -- it's all awesome.
- What do you feel is the most important part of a BLT?
- The bacon.
It's gotta be crispy.
- Definitely the bacon.
- The bacon? - Yeah.
- Yo, guys, serious, this is not a joke.
Look at that.
Best BLT in Manhattan.
Beautiful.
So you're supposed to pick out your own bread,
which I think is a genius idea.
Of course you have all of the classics:
the bagel, the hero, you have this multigrain bread.
But my favorite, and what I think I'm gonna go for,
is the roll, and this guy looks like the winner.
Let's do it.
I think I'm gonna go with your famous BLT.
- Yeah, you gotta have the BLT sauce.
- That's what makes it famous. - BLT sauce?
- Yeah.
- Oh, there we go, BLT sauce.
That's the one.
I've heard that you can come into any deli or bodega,
and with all of the ingredients that they have,
if you put them in different combinations,
you'd probably eat a different sandwich
every day of the week for a year.
- [Male] BLT.
- [Prez] Thank you so much, appreciate it.
- Have a good day.
- Hello.
BLT on a roll.
- $5.70.
- Thank you so much.
'Ppreciate it.
Thank you so much, 'ppreciate it.
I am excited.
Ah, it smells amazing.
Let's go eat it.
I mean, it's been a while since we've been outside
and ate with you guys in the rain.
Look at the stuff that we do for you guys, man.
Definitely not warm today, but here we go.
Look at this beauty.
(camera shutter clicking)
Ain't it beautiful?
So in terms of the ingredients, this is a BLT
on a white roll with lettuce, tomato, and bacon
with their world-famous BLT sauce.
What's in that BLT sauce?
No one will tell me,
so I guess we're gonna have to figure it out for ourselves.
Mmm, mmm.
First thing I get is the crunch and the taste of the bacon.
The next thing I'm getting huge chunks of lettuce
with a crunch and then the tomato, which adds body.
The best part of this whole thing is this BLT sauce.
It seems to be like an aioli of some kind.
This is the best BLT I've ever had.
Holy crap.
It's the sauce.
Usually, when I have a BLT on regular bread,
the lettuce and the tomato soak into the bread,
and it kinda starts falling apart about halfway through.
The fact that this bread is baked,
it stays together, and it adds that crunch,
and it really, really kinda takes this
to the next level for me.
Listen, we spoke to the people inside,
and they cosign this place and for good reason.
I'm jealous of them, that they live this close,
that they can have one of the best sandwiches
I've ever had in my life on a regular basis
for, what, $5.70?
That's brilliant.
Mmm, wow.
I love you, roll.
You even get a salad with your sandwich, you know?
And a fresh salad at that.
If this were any other BLT, I probably would've said
the bacon would be the best part, but this is not that,
and this is the best BLT,
so this is the BLT sauce we're talking about here.
BLT sauce, No. 1 in terms of ingredients
on a BLT for me.
(people speaking in background)
I'm gonna go back inside and get napkins.
Today's mission was delis, which was suggested by you,
my people.
This is why you should hit me up in the comments,
because I take your advice and I listen to you guys, right?
Everybody that we spoke to has their own favorite sandwich,
but no matter what sandwich you love,
you should always support your local deli.
It's the right thing to do.
Today's mission was an absolute success.
I had the most amazing BLT I've ever had in my life.
We used a little rollover change,
it's not a big chain, and most importantly,
it's damn good.
Thank you for watching, but I gotta head back now.
I'll see you later -- peace.
(camera shutter clicking)
Thank you so much for watching.
If you have any suggestions of where we should go next time,
leave them in the comments below.
Also, what is the weirdest thing
you've ever put on your sandwich?
Do that.
You should hit us up on Instagram @5DollarLunchGuy.
Send us DMs, where we should go, your pictures.
We'll repost them.
And I will see you guys next time.
Follow, like, share, and subscribe.
Goodbye.
