Waching daily Mar 1 2018

(upbeat music)

- So, what do we do right now?

So, it's still the basics, eat right, exercise,

and get enough sleep.

But what else can you do?

There's a couple different things.

It's a company called Human Longevity Inc, H-L-I.

We have a service at HLI called the Health Nucleus.

When you come to the Health Nucleus, we spend three hours

with you, we sequence your genome, all 3.2 billion letters

of your life.

We do a full-body MRI that's able to detect cancer.

We basically collect 150 gigabits of data about you,

we feed it into machine learning and our goal

is to find out, is there anything going on

inside your body that you should know about.

All eventually have some problem, but we find it

at stage zero or stage one, when it's curable

or treatable immediately.

Treatments coming in the near future are gonna be

the stem cell treatments.

The ability to use stem cells to solve autoimmune disease

and degenerative disease.

The human placenta for 99.999% of the time is thrown away.

The placenta is the richest source, the most abundant source

of stem cells, and that because these stem cells

are immunologically privilidged, meaning you can give

these stem cells from a single placenta to hundreds,

thousands, potentially tens of thousands of individuals,

the price of these stem cells will drop down significantly.

Then, there are other treatments that are ongoing right now.

You've heard about young blood experiments going on

in Silicon Valley, where you transfuse the blood

of a young person to an old person.

What Allevyn has done is recognize not just the whole blood

that is important, there is a particular molecule called

GDF11 that seems to be the molecule that's most responsible

for this rejuvenative effect and so Allevyn is actually

commercializing that particular molecule.

Other companies like Unity Biosciences is working

on finding those senescent cells in your body

and destroying them, so cells will grow and they'll stop

growing so they don't become cancerous and

it's called senescence, but when those cells start

becoming inflammatory, they can damage your body.

And so Unity Biosciences is working on how do we find

the senescent cells and kill them, making more room

for stem cells to grow younger, healthier tissues.

So there's a number of these technologies coming on

right now.

In 10 to 12 years from now, for every year that you live,

science is extending your life for more than a year.

These treatments are going to be coming online

to help you extend your life, but bottom line,

eat right, sleep right, get exercise, that's not going away.

What are they doing here now?

Shouldn't they already have moved to the new house?

What are you doing, mom? What's that?

It's a mattress, son.

Mattress? So you mean we're going to sleep on that?

Yes, son. Why are you so surprised?

Is it possible to sleep on the ground?

Why wouldn't you?

That doesn't look comfortable.

It is comfortable, for sure.

Mattresses are comfy.

Have you slept before?

I have, I have slept on mattresses so many times.

When I was at your age,

I was always sleeping on the mattress.

Your aunt Vildan and I, too.

Vildan used to tell me a lot of horror tales before we go to sleep.

Then she went to sleep straight.

And I was laying awake through the night.

Are all three of us going to sleep together then?

Can I sleep in the middle of you two?

Sure you can.

Jülide is making bed.

So they'll spend the night here.

Fine, but how?

Something went wrong with the new place I guess.

Then why would they be here?

What happens if we can't find a new place? Are we going to stay here all the time?

We'll find a new place, with the help of God.

Don't worry about that.

I'll look for a place tomorrow, the whole day.

We couldn't find one before.

We'll find some other day, if we can't find it tomorrow.

But God is almighty. He'll open another door for us.

Besides, this is not a home,

but we're not in the open air.

Look, Emirhan, there are a lot of people living out there in this cold, son.

At least we're together.

We have a place to stay at.

Then God will take care of the rest.

Şafak?

Was that you, son?

- I'm here, mom. - Welcome son, but...

What happened? You were out for a walk.

Or you felt the cold?

I told you so, right?

I told you if that was right to go out in the frost, you'll get cold and so.

Look, you couldn't be out for even ten minutes.

I wonder what homeless people are doing right now.

God help them all.

Amen.

- I'm going to my room, mother. - Oh, wait, wait!

Should I bring you cookies? With tea, of course.

No mother, I don't want. Go easy on those.

Thanks, son.

The Doubt FWC Auto Rifle | High Caliber Rounds & Snapshot! - Duration: 4:46.

The Doubt FWC Auto Rifle | High Caliber Rounds & Snapshot!

Hi Guardians we welcome back for another destiny in-depth video where I review exotics and

legendaries in order to give you a comprehensive understanding of the gear so you can play

this game as efficient and effective as possible.

In this video we are going to review the Doubt auto rifle that can be acquired when the faction

rally is around from the Future War Cult.

[The Gun]

The Doubt is an adaptive frame auto rifle that sits in the 600 RPM archetype.

This means that it will kill in 1.10 second with 11 head shots and 1 body shot or in 1.5

second with 16 body shots.

This is a slightly faster Time to kill when you compare it with the more popular 450 rpm

auto rifle archetype like the Uriel's Gift which has an optimal time to kill of 1.2 second

but if you compare it with the body shot only time to kill the uriels gift will be slightly

faster at 1.47 second.

I have an in-depth comparison between the 600 and 450 rpm auto rifles, have a look at

that if you want to know more about it.

The Doubt comes with The hitmark IS

Red dot And the Rifle scope

Tactical mag High caliber rounds

And the signature perk snapshot

I run mine with the red dot sight & high caliber rounds.

Red dot has in my opinion a good balance between range and handling speed and high caliber

rounds is the more superior choice here between the two optional perks.

Tactical mag will slightly increase stability, reload speed and increase the mag size.

You don't really need that increase in stability as this is already pretty good and a mag size

of 42 is plenty enough.

As you all know high caliber rounds is one of the most dominating perks here and tactical

mag just does not outweigh the effectiveness of high caliber rounds.

[Performance]

The Doubt is a great auto rifle it has an above average reload speed, handling , aim

assist and it has high caliber rounds which is one of the best perk to have, to top it

off it also has snapshot which makes you aim down sight faster.

So the main strength of this gun is its handling, this gun is just so snappy and agile, it is

a great choice for a player with an aggressive in your face playstyle.

If you hit your headshots correctly you will benefit from the fastest time to kill in the

game.

The range, as with any other 600 rpm auto rifles is pretty low, you will be out ranged

by Uriel's Gift or the Positive outlook.

So try to keep your engagement into the short to medium range, this is really where the

gun excels.

I like to pair it up with a submachine gun and I will switch it up with a scout if I

am in a long range map.

I like to use the gun by pre-firing this around the corner so I can have the first shot at

the enemy and let high caliber rounds do it's work.

The big mag size of 42 allows you to do this and still have enough bullets left for your

opponent.

The downside of this gun is the horrible muzzle flash.

There is this big white muzzle flash that removes the bottom part visibility of your

reticle, making it harder for you to adjust your aim when your opponent is moving around.

It might not be a problem for you but I find the muzzle flash very annoying.

And as mentioned before, in general the 600 rpm auto rifles lacks in range, and this also

affects the Doubt, you won't be able to hit as far as an Uriel's Gift.

And not only is the damage fall off pretty steep the ability to hit your target also

goes down really badly once you are on the longer range of the spectrum.

So keep your gun fights at the short to medium range.

[Final Verdict]

Other than that this is a very solid gun, it has great perks and stats, and this is

a great kinetic choice if you want to switch it up from your better devils or antiope-d.

Just dont bring this gun to any long range engagements and if you can live with the terrible

muzzle flash then you sir have a great auto rifle.

I am going to give the Doubt a B.

Thank you so much for watching this video and sticking with me when the game is trying

to find It's place.

I hope you enjoyed this video, Let me know in the comments below which gun you want me

to review next.

Subscribe for more and as always I will see you in the next video guardians.

Star Wars: Sith Order - Canon (Part 4 of 5) - Duration: 5:41.

With the attempt on his life a failure, Sidious pronounced Order 66, triggering the inhibitor

chips in all clone soldiers, to have them turn against their Jedi generals.

Sidious then ordered Darth Vader to lead the assault against the Jedi Temple on Coruscant

killing the Younglings as his initiation into the darkside.

Although the great Jedi Purge finally granted the Sith vengeance against their ancient enemy,

some few escaped the massacre, and went into hiding.

In order to hunt down these last remaining Jedi, Sidious created the Inquisitorius, a

group of force-sensitive darkside acolytes of limited power who would report to Darth

Vader.

Leading this group was a former Jedi Temple guard, who grew disillusioned with the order

towards the end of the war and then fell to the Darkside.

Having survived the initial purge, Obi Wan Kenobi tracked down his fallen apprentice

Anakin Skywalker engaging in duel that ended with obi Wan as the victor, cutting off Anakin's

legs and an arm, while leaving him to burn in the fires of Mustafar.

Obi Wan the departed, as his former apprentice screamed in pain, unwilling to finish him

off, and instead chose to leave his fate to the Force.

As a result Sidious rescued his apprentice and built him a cybernetic suit, teaching

him to use pain anger and hatred as fuel to reach new heights of power in the darkside.

Padme Amadala died soon after learning of Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi, but was able

to successfully give birth to twins, naming them Luke and Leia before her passing.

The children of Anakin skywalker were split up, with Obi Wan taking the boy to Tatooine

to live with relatives of Anakin's mother, while the girl was given to Bael Organa who

would raise her as a princess of Aldaran.

Though the Purge and subsequent hunt for the Jedi nearly wiped them out, some few did survive,

such as Obi Wan, and Grand Master Yoda, who went into exile on Dagobah, having learned

from the Force that it was his destiny to wait for one who would restore the Jedi Order.

Meanwhile, with the Separatists and Jedi both defeated, Chancellor Palpatine dissolved the

Republic and declared himself Emperor of the First Galactic Empire.

Having kept track of all though who opposed Chancellor Palpatine during the years of the

Clone Wars, he began to arrest and kill any who posed a threat to his power.

Yet some of these people went into hiding, while others feigned loyalty to the Emperor,

while in secret they organized a rebellion, working form the shadows to restore the Republic.

With his enemies largely vanquished, Emperor Palpatine ruled for two decades, during which

time he consolidated his power, reorganizing the government and military, and diminished

the power of the Senate to become a symbolic organization with no real authority.

Sidious also spent his time training Vader in the ways of the Sith, with one of his first

lessons teaching the truth about Kyber crystals, and how they were living being that could

feel pain and be made to bleed.

Vader was therefore sent off to track down a Jedi and take his lightsaber, so he might

remove the kyber crystal within and corrupt it with his anger and hatred.

Finding Kirak Infil'a living in self imposed exile on the river moon of Al'doleem, the

battle nearly ended with the death of Vader.

However, by exploiting the Jedi's compassion, Infil'a was forced to use his powers to

save the people of local city, and this distraction, allowing Vader to steal his green lightsaber

and snap his neck with the force.

Afterwards Vader went to Mustafar and attempted to corrupt the crystal with the help of sith

shrine.

Yet it proved a difficult process, as the crystal channelled the lightside and resisted

him, even granting him a vision that tested his dedication to the darkside.

But ultimately he passed the test, and bled the crystal, creating his own red lightsaber.

For years Vader acted as the secret enforcer for Emperor Palpatine, often dealing with

an ever increasing number of rebel attacks across the galaxy.

On one occasion, the Emperor joined Vader on a trip to Ryloth, which was having trouble

with the Free Ryloth Movement, which fought to free the planet from imperial control.

During this journey, their ship was shot down and the rebel group attempted to kill the

Emperor and Vader, only to fail and be forced to flee their homeworld.

One of these Twilek rebels was the famous hero cham Syndulla, who along with his daughter

Hera would come to play an important role in the development of a larger rebel alliance.

Though few were even aware of Darth Vader existence, some high level imperials worked

with him on a number of projects, such as Wilhuff Tarkin and Thrawn.

Both of which were exceptional officers that gained Vader's respect, with Tarkin even

becoming somewhat of a friend to the Dark Lord.

Vader was also one of the few privy to the larger plans of the Emperor, learning about

his secret efforts to build a superweapon called the Death Star.

While investigating rebel activity on Lothal, Vader interacted and fought with Jedi Kanan

Jarrus and his apprentice Ezra Bridger, and could have easily defeated them but chose

to let them live so he might follow their ship.

Later while once again facing these rebel Jedi on the planet of Malachor, his former

apprentice Ashoka Tano interfered, distracting the Dark Lord so the others might escape.

Validated - FP in Kotlin with Arrow - Duration: 6:35.

Welcome to the series of videos about functional programming in Kotlin with Arrow

Arrow is a library packed with data types and type classes bringing functional programming to Kotlin.

In this video, we are going to learn about the Validated data type and what it's used for.

Validated is a data

type in Arrow that we use to model when a function may return two kinds of values, which could be considered Valid or Invalid.

As with Either, it can be one or the other.

Validated is frequently modeled as an Algebraic Data Type in the same way as we saw in Option and Either.

Validated has two cases, Algebraic Data Types are modeled in Kotlin with sealed classes.

Validated has two possible values either an Invalid or a Valid.

In the Invalid case, we usually encode a non expected value.

In the Valid case, we encode what we can call the happy path.

This is important because Validated is like Either - right biased.

This means that most of the functions like Map & Filter will operate over the Valid case.

We have two main constructors to work with Validated. The Invalid constructor is placed on the left.

As we have seen before, we are modeling Known errors without using exceptions and putting that on the left side,

because our computation is mostly going to happen on the end, which is to the right side.

This right side can be placed with the Valid constructor

which allows us to bring values into the context of Validated placing them on the right.

Arrow provides an extension syntax for Validated.

We can easily lift values to the left,

Invalid and right Valid cases.

Provided the res ability declares a type in which we note that the other case is.

Usually, when the value is Invalid and stored in a list, we want to ensure that it is Non-Empty.

This is pretty obvious, if we want something stored in it that will describe what error occurred

This can be ensured by using the Arrow NonEmptyList type.

It ensures that the list that it grabs around will always have at least one element.

NonEmptyList and Validated can be used together and, in fact, that combination is very common.

Thus, Arrow provides us already with a type alias along with helpful functions that we can use to operate on this kind of construct.

We can transfer the inner contents of Validated with several important functions such as Fold, GetOrElse, or Map.

This might be familiar for you, at this time, because we saw the same functions in Option or in Either.

This is part of Arrow's unified model of programming.

We take all the functional combinators and try to apply them as many data types as possible,

so that all of them share the same API.

We can extract Validated inner values using Kotlin's When expressions.

In this case, you can see how the result value will be of type Validated.

It can be easily placed on our own expressions, and then we can branch out logic based on the Valid and Invalid cases.

An easier way to deal with this case is using fold.

Fold allows us to pass two functions.

The first function addresses the Invalid case.

Here, we are saying that if we find a known error we should return 0.

The second argument is a function that addresses the Valid case.

Here, we have the chance to confirm the inner contents of Valid.

A conclusion to the previous fold is getOrElse.

In getOrElse, we are just simply providing the function that addresses the Invalid case.

Here, we are saying that if it's a KnownError, we should return 0 instead.

Map allows us to transform the values inside a Validated.

It operates only on the Valid case and that's why we said that Validated is also right biased.

If we were mapping and there was an Invalid in that case the transformation is never applied and Invalid is left untouched.

Through toValidatedNel, we are able to transform a Validated into a toValidatedNel.

Hence,

Given that we are in an Invalid case, we can access to all the benefits from the NonEmptyList

data type that we have seen before

The operator orElse allows us to set up our distant Validated values.

With it, only the arrow on the right is preserved and the Arrow on the left is ignored.

With findValid we can also discriminate different Validated values.

This is similar to orElse except that here,

values are accumulated.

Then, the type held in the Invalid value should be of the semigroup type class as these failures are

accumulated through the combined function to find that semigroup.

Validated doesn't have a flatMap operator as Either.

But with Applicative Builder we can compute different values of Validated that are independent from each other.

This way we can map Acrobat into tables, a set of operations for saving the type information and preserving their ID.

Also, if we find invalid value then the computation won't short-circuit as it happened when working with Either data types.

But Invalid values encounter will be combined and returned.

As we've seen before,

We need that the Invalid type is of the semigroup type class just to be able to combine these values at each strip properly.

In this video, we learned about Validated in the same way as with other data types

Validator services a lot of the functions and different functionality aside of data like map, fold, or getOrElse.

Arrow proposes a unified programming model for all data types.

We will learn more about those in the next series. Thanks for watching.

LAMBO VLOG #2 : THE AVENTADOR S - Duration: 6:06.

Hello everyone, it's Sarah Bovy, I hope you're doing great

following my last video, the review of the Huracan Performante

I received a lot of positive comments

and some request for the same type of video

with the Aventador S

so here we go, I'm in the Aventador S and I will review it for you

and to answer all you requests

and to show you I'm listening to my followers

I decided to make this a bit more in motion

integrate onboard videos

some sounds on so on... so I hope you'll like it

just a short clarification

everything filmed

on the road was on open roads

so I'm very careful, I respect speed limits

road is not a circuit

I recommend you to do the same if you like fast cars

and have fun on racing tracks

so

that was a short disclaimer, now let's get to the heart the matter

OK, I'll drop my idea of doing the video outside

because it's really to cold with a lot of wind so the sound will be horrible

the Aventador S

It's the last Aventador released, presented last year

it's the evolution of the normal Aventador

what do we have in term of evolution... first more power

of course, we have the same V12 engine as before

but here it's boosted at 740hp

we are also a bit lighter - we have the 4 wheels steering

so, the Aventador, we know it, it's a 4 wheels drive

but here we also have the 4 wheels steering, which means

when you're in low speed

the rear wheels will turn in the opposite direction than the front ones

to make your steering angle more efficient

if you need to u-turn in a city for instance, it will be easier

you'll have a shorter steering angle

so, that's a big improvement

but it's not something helping you only in low speed

because in high speed conditions

your rear and front wheels will turn in the same direction

so let's say you're on the highway

in complete illegal conditions at 300 kph

and you need to change line

instead of turning your car, it will transfer the car in the right direction

so it's way more stable

and also safer

but still... try to avoid to drive 300 kph on the highways

exempt in Germany, when it's legal

another significant evolution that I use a lot

when I do test drives with this car, is the 4th mode

so, we got Strada, Sport, Corsa

like in every Lamborghini

but in addition you have EGOmode

this mode allow you to configure the car following what you need

for instance, you could choose to have

the suspensions in Strada, the steering wheel in Sport

and the engine and gearbox in Corsa mode

that's what I do usually

so it's comfy if we are on bumpy roads

the steering wheel will be quite direct but

not so sharp like we would have it on a race track

and we have the amazing sound from the exhaust in Corsa

we have a new exhaust, a bit different than the previous one

I can't make a comparison because I don't have a classic Aventador with me here

but if you check some other videos like POG's ones for instance, you can compare

we have a brand new front design

some are in love with it, some hates it

I'll let you make your opinion, here is some shooting from the front and you tell me

we still have a single clutch gearbox

what means that you still have quite agressive gearshift, especially in Corsa mode

BUT

the software that deal with the gearbox has been completely

upgraded in a way that

it will fit better with the way you will be driving

so in Strada and Sport you will have something quite

smooth and fitting with your speed, in manual or automatic mode

and in Corsa mode it will be very agressive

that shift gear very very fast

but then... big kick in the ass when you're in full speed

if one day you test this car on a racing track

you'll remember what I just said

Then we also have a technology linked to the 4 wheels steering

qui est le dynamic steering

that will allow you

to have a steering that will adapt following your speed

your steering angle, the mode you're driving in and so on ...

you'll have a real smart steering wheel

WTF is he doing ?!?

and this is something loved by Lambo's customers

because it makes the cars much more enjoyable on a daily basis...

I think I'll stop here as I told you the fundamentals

so, the Aventador S, we agree on this, it's not a new model,

it's an evolution from the normal Aventador

there is a huge gap between the cars

it's like night and day

I hope you enjoyed this new video

Let's Explore Nevada's Creepy Clown Motel | STORYFARM - Duration: 2:54.

Americans are more afraid of clowns than...

climate change, terrorism, and death.

So whose bright idea was it to build this place?

Welcome to the Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada.

I think it's a great idea for people that have a fear of clowns

to come in to the Clown Motel I think, and to

face the clowns.

It's out of place in a historic mining town.

My name is Robert Perchetti,

we're in Tonopah, Nevada at the Clown Motel.

We have pictures in the rooms with clowns, we have

a couple suites that have more clowns in them.

it's been here for about 35 years,

I've been here on the property for 23 years.

We've built the clown collection up to

600 clowns

from the original 150 clowns that were here

when they originally built the motel.

I get a lot of donations,

people send their clown, they want to

find a home for their clown.

They say that now he's going to be with other clowns

and he'll be much happier.

I'm Marlena,

I've been here about eight years.

When I first arrived here, I hated clowns

I had a great fear of them.

Working here actually changed my idea about it.

That's one of my jobs that I do,

I actually help talk people through their fear

I'll bring them closer, and just start talking to them,

and help them overcome it.

He's a creepy little thing, isn't he cute!

Not everyone is down with the clown...

The technical term is called coulrophobia–

the irrational fear of clowns.

I've had actually wives and husbands stand outside the door

while their mate comes in here and takes pictures,

they won't come through the door

and I've gone out and talked to them and they say

"well maybe next time but not this time"

They will purposely actually come here

to face their fear.

I've had a couple of people actually faint,

and one scream.

One girl got really to a point where she covered her face up with her hands

and asked me if I'd walk her back out the door.

It's supposed to be a very haunted place...

which is it is.

I'm not sure

if it comes from the cemetery next door or not.

The man that built the motel, him and his sister,

their dad was was killed in the Belmont Fire

and he's buried in the graveyard right next to motel.

Why do so many people fear clowns?

It may stem from a concept known as the

Uncanny Valley

This means that the more human-like a creature appears,

the more comfortable we are with it–

but to an extent...

this is true all the way up to the point where said creature

looks almost exactly human,

just slightly off...

That's when things get weird and the viewer gets uncomfortable.

I've been retired for 23 years,

I'm gonna be 80 years old,

I'm thinking about trying to sell the motel.

The clown motel is for sale,

and the public is interested.

Coulrophobics need not apply

I'm hoping if someone buys it, they continue to

run it as a Clown Motel,

that's going to be one of the conditions.

We don't want it to change.
