today we are going to make balushahi

very easy way

lets see what ingredients we need..

to make balushahi we have taken one bowl refined flour(maida)

1 bowl sugar

cardamom 4 - 5

we have taken out cardamom seeds as powder to use in sugar syrup

some pistachio which we have cut it

baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

1 bowl curd

in same quantity we have taken Ghee

to make balushahi we will prepare dough first

we will add baking powder in refined flour

add ghee

we have mixed the ghee and baking powder

you can see its getting bind properly

now we will add curd in it

we have to mix it very light handed

add water as required

we need not to make tight dough

use very light handed to just it become a dough

just one proper binding

dough is ready

we will keep it for 20 min

till the time dough is getting set we will make sugar syrup

to make sugar syrup we will add one bowl sugar in pan

in same quantity we will add water

we will add cardamom powder also

switch on the flame

stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely

otherwise this will stick in bottom

we have to make thick sugar syrup

5 min is over switch off the flame

sugar syrup is ready

to check the syrup take one drop in finger

like this stick your both finger you will see one line of syrup

by covering, keep it aside

dough is ready we have kept if for 20 min

till the time we will make blushahi we will keep refined oil to get heated

you can make small or big balushahi as per your choice

you need not to apply pressure

just make a balushahi shape by light hand

some thing like this

by using same way we will make all the balushahi

all the balushahi we have made it

now we will deep fry it

oil is heated now we will check by putting one piece of dough

oil is perfectly ready for deep fry

now we will add the balushahi as much it can contain

when one side firms up and is light golden, turn over each balushahi.

we have to turn balushahi very light handed otherwise it will get break because its so soft

balushahi is cooked well now, we will take it out in one tissue paper applied plate

we will do the same process of remaining balushahi

we will turn off the flame as this balushahi is also ready

cooked well we will take it out

now we will dip the balushahi in the sugar syrup one by one and put sugar syrup on top

so that each sides are coated with sugar syrup

we need not to soak balushahi in sugar syrup for more time just about 2 min

by turning all around we will coat with sugar syrup

we have used cardamom in sugar syrup you can use saffron instead cardamom

you can use whatever you like

now we will take balushahi out one by one and do the same process for remaining balushahi

balushahi is ready now we will add pistachio from top

balushahi is ready you have see how easy to make it at home.

this festival season make balushahi at home.

serve this balushahi to yourself, loved one and to guest
