Hey everyone! We're here today with a very special guest, Oriol from Spain

He used to be an exchange student here, in 2012 and 2013 and he's back visiting

TRU and he's just gonna share a little bit about his experience.

Yeah, as she said I came from the Universitat Autonoma, in Barcelona in 2012, from August to April

and I was looking forward to come to America, in general, and Canada was the main option

that my university had, and it was very good. I didn't know much about the

university or anything, I put it as my second option, and, when I got it, I just

Google it and I started watching videos about the campus life and all that.

And then, being here was also quite significant for my studies. I have very good memories of my time at TRU.

Oriol was very involved on campus, he actually did my campus tour in the Orientation Week 2013

Yeah, that's correct, I was! Orientation Week was really fun.

I did the Orientation, obviously, in the summer/Fall Orientation,

it was between the end of August and the first weeks of September and I really enjoyed.

We had all these volunteers who were students, just like us, showing us around.

Because I was around for the winter one,

I was like "Yeah, why shouldn't I volunteer?" and I volunteered for that.

Part of the the programme that they prepare for the Orientation is that you get student to

show you around campus and the services in Kamloops, or nearby the campus area,

and, as you said, you were one of them, the students I got, and is pretty cool that

five years later: here we are!

What do you miss the most about TRU?

I really enjoyed the classes. I don't know if I specified it, but I was in the Journalism programme

and the Journalism program here was much better than what I expected.

It was still a little bit old-fashioned in a way, but I think,

and I talked with my classmates about that,

I think it had to do with what kind of Journalism is required in this area.

In my home university, for instance, we have a radio studio and a TV studio.

Here is more based in just writing, but, just because it's mainly based

in writing, it also helps a lot.

For me and for my English writing. My English writing improved so much while I was here.

That was like one of the better experiences, and contributing to The Omega.

The Omega is the TRU's students newspaper, so I was contributing there...

Game of Thrones 4x04 REACTION ¨Oathkeeper¨ - Duration: 22:28.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my reaction channel!

My name is Pilar.

And today I'm going to be reacting to 4x4 of Game of Thrones.

Before going straight to the reaction I want to let you know a couple of doubts and questions I have of what I've seen so far.

Of course if you see that there's no need for you to answer them cause I'll soon find the answers myself

then there's no need for you to answer them to me

But I'm just doing this so you know where I stand in all this and which questions I have so far.

Okay one of the biggest doubts I have right now is: Which exactly is the wildings objetive at the moment?

I mean, there are several groups of wildings that crossed the wall.

But do they want to...? Attack the Night's Watch? And take that community from them?

Do they want to take Black Castle?

Do they want to keep destroying all those communities and little towns? Or what's their objective?

It's what I dont get.

Do the wildings want to take the Iron Throne?

Do they want to rule the seven kingdoms or...?

What to they want?

Okay that's the first doubt I have. Where do the Wildings want to get to? What do they want?

Doubt Number two, what happened to Theon's Sister?

Is she going to go and rescue him or...?

I assume that that's coming soon but it is something I'm expecting to see every episode haha

Tara is her name right?

I always think about her and wonder if she is going to rescue him.

Ok and the third doubt I have is...

I spent a lot of time thinking about this, and I still can't try to make a prediction or convince myself about:

about what it is exactly that Lord Baelish wants to do with Sansa.

Lord Baelish said to Sansa when they where on the ship: ¨We are going home¨

What's home?

Is it Winterfell?

I mean, is Lord Baelish going to take her to winterfell and he is going to try to...

I don't get it.

If Lord Baelish is risking his place at Kingslanding by taking Sansa, that means he is planning something BIG.

My question is: what is it?

I can't seem to..

I assume he is going to take her to Winterfell and maybe he will try to become Lord, or maybe he wants to exchange her...

No no no, forget about that.

That's all I just want it to let you know what my doubts are.

He is just jealous cause Jon Snow knows how to use the sword better than him.

And they are going to blackmail him with Brann.

Wait...

So... White Walkers want babies to turn them also into White Walkers?

That's how Craster could live there safe? By giving them his babies?

So that's why he gave away all his baby boys? He gave them to the White Walkers so they could make more White Walkers?

Interesting... and scary at the same time.

Ok, a few things to say.

Brienne just left Kingslanding with Podrick.

in search for Sansa.

I don't know where do they think it's going to be better to start their search but...

But their search is kind of in vain because of what Little Finger says is true, he...

He will marry Cat's sister and Sansa will be safe then... cause that's her aunt right?

Sansa is going to be safe there, and Arya is heading to the same place so they are going to find eachother and ¨everything will be ok.¨

Of course a lot of other things may happen so...

But this original plan sounds good.

I'm sure something bad may happen and Brienne is going to be there to help...

But the plan of Little Finger marrying Cats sister ( I don't remember her name) doesn't sounds so bad...

Yeah, I don't know...

I'm kind of scared to be honest. It's like everything sounds too good.

But yeah for now its all good, we'll see.

Another thing, so those ex-brothers of the night watch are living in Craster's house...

That was terrifying. God.

The way all those women were hurt, and full of bruises.

I really can't wait to see whay happens with Brann

Now that this man, their leader at Craster's, has Brann as a prisoner...

And now Jon Snow is heading there... so I think that's going to get bad...

I think theres a fight coming, and I don't think Jon is going to be able to win and take that place and kill them all cause...

I can imagine someone holding Brann and threating Jon to kill him.

So yup will see what happens.

I'm stressed now...

And oh now it's 100% clear to me: it was Lady Olenna.

I loved that thing she said: ¨Do you really think I would have let you live with Joffrey?¨

Cause that's exactly what I said at the end of the purple wedding episode! I'm so happy lol

I love to try and guess and give predictions and try to get to the truth...

And I want to see how Margery keeps seducing and trying to win Tommen's trust and love.

And I want to see Cersei's reaction to all this. Cause you can tell she just wants to keep an eye on him and his safety above all..

But now Margaery, whom Cersei can't stand, has her eyes on her youngest and only son.

I can see there's a conflict coming between this two ladies.

We'll see.

Last thing I have to say, it's about Jamie.

Who is standing in the middle of:

1) His sister. Who he loves with all his heart, but he knows she is nuts, and desperate to get vengeance for Joffrey's death.

2) And his brother. Who Jamie also loves and cares for. I believe he does love him. And he wants to help him.

But he is in the middle of this to people.

Will see how that is going to end, will see what happens on the trial.

I hope they can all realize that Tyrion is smarter than that.

It's obvious that Tyrion didn't do it. He is smart.

He was not going to ruin his family name in front of all those people.

If he wanted to kill him we would have done it in and in another way.

The only issue here is that Sansa escaped.

That only make everyone think it was them.

Great episode. I really liked it.

I'm really scared of White Walkers...

Cause now that I think about it Craster had been giving them babies for quiet a long time now.

That means...

that White Walkers have been adding more white walkers to their army for many years now.

It's so crazy.

I want to know more about these things/creatures

Do white walkers grow up? What do they eat? What powers do they have?

I work a lot,

I work a lot. It may be work in BeFluent, it may be

studies, it may be my job here in the university and I have very little time

that is, I have very little free time and when I have free

time I'm doing BeFluent and that's why I have very little rest. I rest

very little, of course I sleep 8 hours each day, but I lacked some hobby,

What could I do and just relax everyday. I decided to take

mini vacation for two days and do nothing. Just relax, have fun

somehow, just being home and doing nothing. I did a little work in the morning, I

I played computer games, played a guitar, read books and so on. I did not do

The first thing we will do will be paint the entire box with "Gesso"

The next step will be to cut one of these four ladies of the blade of

decoupage paper

To paste it we are going to use the glue for matt decoupage of "Fabrika Decoru"

We will apply the glue on the wood and we will put the paper over

With the help of the brush we are sticking the paper and taking out possible bubbles

air that may be below. We make this same movement with the brush

until completely stuck the paper to the box

We are going to let it dry.

Once it is dry, we will remove the remaining paper with a nail file

With black acrylic paint let's paint the box

We are going to use a small sponge to paint along the edge of the paper to

integrate it this way, in the black color of the box

With a lace ribbon I will decorate the part of the bottom of the box.

I'm going to stick it with hot silicone

In the same way I'm going to stick a ribbon lace a little closer

on the edge of the lid

With "Gesso" black, let's paint the lace ribbon,

This I do to harden them and also to give a darker color

With metallic paint in "gold" color, let's go to give a golden touch to the box

We will apply the painting with the technique of the dry brush.

This technique involves applying very little paint and very well extended.

With that we're going to get a soft shade of golden

With the metallic paint in color "Bounty" let's do the same

We will paint a small shadow all over the box with very little paint and very well extended

And we do the same with the Metallic paint in "bronze" color

We apply very little paint and very well extended

And finally we are going to stick a ribbon of pearls on the lid and on the bottom of the box

of course there's a great deal of decentralization.

We showed a very good school in this film

as well as a very bad school.

There are many good schools.

And the more decentralized the control,

in my opinion, the more satisfactory is the schooling.

The real problem is concentrated in those areas

where decentralization is broken down,

where you have moved to much greater centralization,

much greater control.

And the main trouble areas are in the large cities.

That's why we picked that school to show.

In response to the question of the excellence

of the schooling that's coming,

I think there is nobody who can question the

declining SAT scores, the declining scores on exams,

the declining performance in the schools,

the fact that there is widespread dissatisfaction,

that many schools, not all schools, some schools,

in urban areas are more accurately described

as centers to keep people off the street

than as educational institutions.

SHANKER: When you have a free market,

there are dangers that go along with that market.

Now, we know that there are people in our society

who buy Consumer's Reports,

and there are people who do a

great deal of research before they buy something,

and there are other people who are taken in

by the crass commercials and instant appeal

to give them some sort of a gimmick with a thing.

And I think that the evidence is pretty clear that

if you take middle class and wealthier families,

they are gonna do a good deal of research.

They may very well be able to invest some

additional money of their own

to take some inconvenience.

And if you have an open system of

this sort it may very well be that

the poorest parents are gonna have to

take what is most convenient for them,

what is going to fit in with

their own work schedules, what is not

going to require additional sums of money.

And there is no doubt in my mind that

if you set up a system of free choice of this sort,

you're going to with the poor in one set of schools

of their own on the basis of a good deal of

gimmicks that will be offered to them.

COONS: They can't learn, right? They're –

FRIEDMAN: Excuse me, Mr. Shanker.

I want to ask you one question:

How do you explain the fact that there is

no area of the free market, no area of the

private market, in which the poor people

who live in the ghettos of our major cities

are as disadvantaged as they are with

respect to the kind of schooling they can get?

I want you to name me any aspect of the

private market- they're not as disadvantaged

in the kind of supermarkets they can go to.

They're not as disadvantaged even in the

kind of housing they can occupy,

as they are in respect of the kind of

schooling their children can go to.
