With that and Im sorry to all of the Aquaman fans, but were about to cover the Top 10 Dumbest
Aquaman Moments
#10 Saved By Fish In Aquamans first ever appearance in the More
Fun comics #73 we see him telling a sea captain his whole life story including the time where
he took down a Nazi submarine.
However he also included the moment where one of them knocked him out by dropping a
hammer on his head After that the Nazis tied him to weights and dumped him back into the
ocean.
Only to be rescued by porpoises because well he couldnt escape on his own.
#9 Aqua Uber
Although Aquaman can swim at top speeds we still see him using sea creatures to get around
which comes off really dumb.
Especially his original sea horse which the new movie tried really hard to make cool again
after it was mercilessly mocked for decades.
Plus lets not forget that time he hitched a ride with some fish that can also fly.

#8 Smallville Lets not forget when Alan Ritchson played
Aquaman on Smallville
Ignore the fact that its Thad Castle from Blue Mountain State.
In his final episode hes just looking like a tourist hanging out at sea world.
I agree that Smallville had weak moments over all, but the whole role of Aquaman in the
series definitely didnt make his image less lame.
At the time Smallville was the only live action superhero tv show so naturally it attracted
a fan base.
Surprisingly the Aqua episode was so well received at the time that WB wanted to do
a spin-off of Aquaman.
Which Ill get into next
#8 Mercy Reef Also known as one of the first TV pilots that
were made for Aquaman, played by Justin Hartley who is now a star on the show This is Us.
It had high hopes of being a smash hit with audiences, but fell flat when the WB and UPN
merged to make the CW.(show image https://bit.ly/2RPZx33) It was at that time that the network decided
to cancel the show and I guess felt bad enough for Justin to give him the Green Arrow role.
Almost forgot we were doing dumb moments, heres a dumb one from the pilot for ya, roll

#7 Aqua Balloon Aquaman sure does have a ton of abilities,
from his invulnerability to his ability to communicate with fish which was used in a
hilarious way in the DC animated film - Justice League Throne of Atlantis where he got drunk
and started talking to a lobster at a restaurant But lets not forget that dumb moment from
the comics where he showed off his ability to inflate like a balloon I mean sure hes
rescuing a damaged ship and safely returning them to the shore, but even Aquaman looks
depressed by having to use this power.
#6 Octopus Butler In another series of unfortunate events for
the character of Aquaman we have the premier of - A day in the life of Aquaman Which shows
him having dinner on camera served by an Octopus butler whos wearing a bowtie.
He must have really loved that octopus as well because when it became ill he changed
career paths and became Dr. Aquaman Who must have really appreciated this help because
that relationship got even more dumb when they announced their relationship
#5 Prince of The Dolphins Back in the Silver Age Aquaman got a very
interesting story of origin which saw him being dumbed as a baby at the Mercy Reef where
he was soon raised by dolphins.
His dolphin mother happened to be Queen of the Dolphins making him well Prince of the
Dolphins, which just makes this another really dumb moment.
As the prince of dolphins you can only assume that his first true love would have been a
dolphin and you would be correct.
Although he had to let that go when said dolphin had a male suitor who was well another dolphin.
The whole thing was just really weird.
#4 Finny Friends Aquaman can talk to all sea creatures and
whether or not they actually want to help him or are compelled to is still unknown.
However in the super DC giant S-26 that was released in 1971 we saw a ton of old Aquaman
stories that show off his finny friends.
The collection really shows off his tyrannical abilities to control these so called friends
of his.
We see flying fish that are launching torpedoes, his beloved octopus tossing grenades and then
form a band for a birthday party.
Oh and lets not forget when he told a bunch of shrimp who could also box to rough up some
sharks.
#3 Potty Time Power Now weve already talked about so many of Aquamans
abilities and some we didnt know.
Well heres another one from the DC super friends issue where he shows off his Potty Time Power.
He uses his potty time power to help kids when well its time to go potty.
Teaching them how to - harness the power of water - to flush and battle germs.
I guess no one gave Aquaman a lesson in how to deal with kids though because after he
lectures them on washing their hands he unnecessarily soaks a child with water from the tap.
#2 Aqua-Dolls Being Aquaman has to be a tough gig I mean
youre ruling over the seven seas and about 70 percent of the earth, but theres no glory
in that.
So in his spare time Aquaman decided to create - Aqua Dolls.
To which he would use the proceeds to donate to charity and provide homes for seamen.
Yup you heard me.
Cant get much more dumb than that or can he
Topping the stupidity of our number 2 spot, I bring you
#1 The Sitcom Yes Aquaman had a sitcom that was based around
his family.
Adding to the arsenal of every Aquaman hater out there.
Im speechless.
I really hope this time around they can pull off reinstating Aquaman has a noble hero and
hopefully put to rest this weird, random, and overall dumb past for his character.

Well, coming from a historically marginalized and oppressed community,
we've seen time and time again, city after city, state after state, all these
incentives of bringing in companies, like you say, that just extract from the
people and exploit our people. We have talents, we have skills, and we
have our own needs. And so we want to change and shift our focus and paradigm. We're
at the stage now capitalism, like look, they're not bringing in quality jobs.
Anywhere. You all in New York I think will be catching a whiff of that, and
soon, with some new developments. And so our thing is, like look, nobody's coming
to save us. What can we do ourselves with the resources and the skills that we
have to transform our own situation? So workers getting together, trying to
create, you know, avenues of sustenance for themselves to make a little bit of money
here and there to sustain themselves, improve their own quality of life, that's
what we're about. You know, not trying to wait for somebody else to come with some
great new jobs and new ideas but starting with the things that are within
our ability to do and reaching out to allies and say 'hey support us in this
effort and endeavor'. And we're going to create the jobs and substance that we
need with our own, with our own hands. And for us there's a political piece to this.
We do see ourselves as on a project of trying to build socialism from the
bottom up, and worker coops being a vehicle to do that based upon their
democratic nature both in terms of planning, management, execution, and a
division of whatever is gained, and how that's distributed to to those who've
done that labor and put in their time and effort. So it'll be the workers
themselves who build this and who reap whatever benefits it has instead of a
group of investors maybe thousands of miles away- Somebody sitting here in New York City
Figuring out a way to - that's right. You know your story reminds me of how I explain what
probably is the most successful worker co-op in the world:
Mondragon Corporation in Spain. There's a story they tell if you go and visit them,
which I did, and they say back in 1956 there was this priest in this northern
part of Spain named father Arizmendi. And he made a
famous speech to his little Catholic parish that he was the the priest at. And
he said, 'if we wait for people to come in here and give us a job we'll all die of
old age before it happens'. So everybody laughs and he says, 'So the only thing for
us to do is not to wait. We'll be our own boss. We'll set it up'. And with six
workers, six, in this medium-sized town of Mondragon in the north of Spain, they set
up this corporation which today has a 100,000 workers and is one of
the most successful worker co-ops. It's actually a family of a 200 plus worker
co-ops. So in a sense, it sounds to me like you are following, in some sense, in those
footsteps. You are trying to apply here - Oh, very explicitly. Mondragon has been a driving force behind a lot of
our thinking, going back over almost 30 years that we've known about Mondragon.
And many people within our network have gone to visit over the years. So we've
taken a lot of examples and a lot of lessons from Mondragon. You know, one
of our key things that we borrow from them is, you know, this is not
heaven and we are not angels. Because, you know, it's challenging to do this type of
work, as you know. As the old saying, "As long as there's two being human beings on the
planet there's gonna be politics". So, you know, you you have to deal with all the
different types of conflicts and things that emerge. It's not easy but they've,
you know, I think blazed a path. Absolutely we are trying to follow, learn
from- You know, we have to adapt to our own conditions, which were doing, but very
explicitly we draw from Mondragon, always have.

Raids by the German police on the largest bank in Germany, the Deutsche
Bank. They have had tussles with the police before. The police are raiding the
offices of the biggest bank in the country because it is accused of money
laundering; criminal money-laundering. I'm always struck by these efforts to grab
and punish the people at the top. First, I'm struck that it happens in Germany. It
still hasn't happened here. Top officials of the bank are in trouble in Germany.
They're not in trouble here. Somehow lower officials get into trouble if any
at all do. But there's a more important point: going after the people at the top,
let that go. Okay, if you want to do that fine. But you're not solving the problem
that way. The problem is banks are set up, in a capitalist economy, to do all kinds
of things that make them a lot of money but which skirt the law, or break the law,
or go around the law. The trick is to change the system so you're not giving
rewards to the people at the top for doing what we keep catching them doing.
Throwing the latest bunch in the clink is only to prepare the way for the
underlings who've been training for this all their lives to rise up to the
position where the same system of rewards and punishments will likely get
the same result from them. You've got to do something more basic about your
financial system. If finance is the lifeblood of our economic system, which
surely it is, if it's something we all depend on, which surely it is, but if
leaving it in the hands of private profit tears leads to the kind of
crooked, dangerous, anti-social behavior we see, then the logical conclusion is why
are we allowing profit-making hustlers - excuse me, bankers -
to get between the financing we need and the rest of us as a population.
Why are we doing that? It's the same question as we pose to why we allow
food as a basic necessity to be handled in a
for profit enterprise way.

New Comics for December 19, 2018 - Duration: 17:28.
Hey I'm Brian from BMA Comics Con.
And we're back to give you a look at the comics coming out this Wednesday.
I know this video is late and I'm sorry.
So, for the sake of time I'm doing something a little different this week.
Bear with me and let me know what you think of the different video style if you can even
tell the difference.
This all-new maxiseries set on Earth X, where the Nazis won World War II!
Twenty years after invading and occupying America, Germany wiped out all metahuman resistance,
including the original Freedom Fighters.
Fast-forward to the present day, and a new team of Freedom Fighters emerges to challenge
the Nazi occupation once again.
But if they're to have any chance of victory, they're going to need Uncle Sam-who disappeared
after his original team was killed.
Not only is this similar to last year's CW crossover this story line is called Death
of A Nation so I'm interested in the political commentary this story will have and if it's
similar to the movie of the same name.

And certainly, the most eventful, as this cast of Marvel heroes soon find out as they
engage in wacky hijinks to save the holiday season!

We are ready to get in! The venue is very special actually, it's in a theater in Gramercy.
Usually Kpop concert are hosted in venue more like a club, but it's like a real theater today.
We just finished the concert! How do you like the concert today?
Yes they sang lots of English songs
Not only their own songs, they also covered many English and Korean songs
And I am amazed that all their vocals are great!
Usually in group, some are better at dancing some are singing, but they are good at everything!
