Waching daily Dec 18 2018

How not to dive again?

Hello everyone. It's Lou. We we find for our balance sheet at 90

days. Another ten days and this challenge will be won. As we usually do

balance sheet in hard cash and stumbling.

By counting 7 euros 80 the package x 90 days we come to an economy of 702

euros which is not at all negligible

and I remind you that the package of cigarettes will go to 10 euros on the 1st

January. Admittedly, the victory is coming, she nevertheless remains fragile. I know by

experience that this is going to be a fight daily to not go back to

new in the addiction. To not relapse

I should have in mind that the cigarette does not solve the problems

but I get new ones, I should remind me of my lack of breath,

fear of falling sick, pain anxious lungs, end of the month

financially difficult ... I should remember the cynicism of these

multinationals who are fattening our back, the amount of taxes that does not

do not go to research and I know by experience that it only takes one

cigarette to plunge back for years and become again the slave of tobacco,

and that's out of the question. I you so give an appointment in ten days

to celebrate this victory. Waiting, I wish you happy holidays.

Kammebornia

Welcome to the Kammebornia podcast, about life in general and knitting in particular

In the Kammebornia podcast we want to invite you to our world

that is full of thoughts, feelings and discussions

caused by the scent of the coffee and the soft peaceful rhythm of the knitting

Kammebornia is our art project as well as our own kingdom

Kammebornia is about our wish that everyone could live in their own fairytale kingdom in this place we call reality

and it is about our wish that everyone could be the king or the queen in their own life

We are Dennis and Pia and we live on Gotland, the island of roses and fairytales in the Baltic sea

We wish for a softer, more kind and warm world

Love and respect, does it have to be so hard?

Without the woolen threads, I get lost

but if I can knit one more row, and one more, I can find my way home again

Through the magic of the threads I take my way through the days and the nights

With a rhythm like the waves and the beating of the heart,

I knit one stitch after the other and one row after the other

at the same time I collect my thoughts and feelings

Today, we are going to show you Mini Mittens and all of our Riddari sweaters

We will also be talking about stress and how to deal with it

Coffee, chat and knitting

Hello and a warm welcome to the woods behind our house and a new episode of the Kammebornia Podcast

Why are we in the woods?

I was going to ask you the same thing. Because it's too dark indoors.

That's right, we don't get a lot of daylight these days and especially not on cloudy days like today

But I like to reflect on the fact that the sun is always shining behind the clouds

Yes, that's right!

But I think these cloudy, misty winterdays are beautiful

even though it is difficult to take pictures and film

So, today we went out to the woods and brought you with us

There are many things going on in today's episode

but first of all, we would like to give a warm thank you to our dear sponsors and Patrons!

Thank you so much! Without you, it would not be possible for us to produce this podcast.

If you are not a Patron already, and you are curious about how it works, you are welcome to read more at

patreon.com/Kammebornia

For example, we have just released a small film for our Patrons, about how we are making this podcast

We made it for our workshop in Orkanger in Norway

Don't miss that!

There are also other treats, like recipes and some patterns.

And there will be more coming up!

We are also very happy to have our great sponsors

It is very important for us only to work with sponsors that we can recommend for real and that we like

We only want to promote things that we use and like for real

It is important for us to remain genuine and independenteven if we have sponsors to help us create this podcast

So we want it to be a win-win situation where we can help eachother

Now we have a new sponsor that we want to present

The Woolly Thistle from the US

A big thank you to The Woolly Thistle! We are so proud to present you!

We have actually met Corinne that runs the Woolly Thistle

Yes, we did, in Scotland, it was really nice

Yes, we had a nice time together there

At the Woolly Thistle, you can find many yarns that I use in my own patterns

So for all of you living in Canada and the US, it is especially convenient to have The Woolly Thistle in New Hampshire

You can find many Scandinavian and British yarns there

That's good!

What happens now?

Are you stressed?

Yes, I am really stressed, are we going to talk about that?

Yes, we are, we will be right back in a little while

I am thinking about this thing with stress and fatigue and depression

it is so common yet it is a big taboo in many ways

Both me and Dennis have been ill from stress

I do not think we will ever recover

This does not mean that I have given up or that I am bitter

but I do not think it is possible to be like before, because then we will break down again and we do not want that

We have to rebuild our lives

Make things different - everyday

If we can live at our own pace and in our own environment, we are mostly fine

but it is also about feeling good even if you are not doing well

it is about creating conditions for your self to live a good life

accepting what you can not change

and change the things you can and want to change

Actually, I do not think that we are ill, it is the world that is spinning too fast

It is about too big expectations

We need to find our own cycles and our own balance

When we get sick from stress, it is a healthy response to a sick world

I try to grab the monsters and tame them

they will not disappear just by pretending they do not exist

and nothing is getting better by not enjoying the nice things in life

If we take care of ourselves and try to enjoy all the good things, we will get more energy to deal with the darkness

I am strong and small and fragile, happy and sad, healthy and ill, at the same time

I think that we all will feel much better if we can have a good time

If we can spend time in the environment and situations that suits us, where we feel secure and fulfilled

then we are feeling well. But if we are forced into contexts and situations where we feel anxious and

stressed, we are getting ill.

And if we have to feel ashamed for feeling anxious or getting panic attacks or feeling fragile, then

everything is getting worse

Stll it is so hard for many of us to say no thanks to the things that makes us ill, before it is too late

illness due to stress can easily be a handicap

If you have a bad eyesight and need strong glasses to see, you will be handicapped without the glasses, but

you will be fine and not handicapped at all if you have the right glasses

So your bad eyesight can be a handicap or not, depending on your glasses

If I am ill from stress, my glasses are the right environment and the right treatment from others

Being around the "right" people, I am well

If I am around the wrong people in the wrong situation or environment, I will get handicapped

Our invisible sympthoms might not disturb us at all if we feel safe in a setting where we like to be

In places and situations that does not suit us, they can grow to be monsters and difficult handicaps

I always feel better when I am in the nature, in the woods or by the sea

I feel calm and like I am a part of the universe

Big problems shrink and I can find new energy

Being a human is a process and all we know is now. Now is all we have.

I love resting in that knowledge

It is not always an easy task to find the balance and to be present in now

But I think we have to face the darkness to be able to see the light

What do you think about this?

I think it is a difficult thing, this thing with stress

We need some sort of stress to have things done but with too much, the brain gets tired

And then you get ill, really ill. So it is dangerous.

The hard thing is to find the right balance then.

Yes, it is hard. And sometimes, I think we have to rebuild ourselves and do things in a different way.

Maybe even stop doing what you have done. Change trail.

To get well or better takes its time.

Maybe it is not a goal to be like before, that is not the same thing as getting well.

Exactly. That is a great misunderstanding.

Many people think it is about getting well again and then continue as before. As if nothing happened.

But it was that life that made you ill. Therefor it is nothing to get back to. Or what do you think?

I think you are right but I also wonder if it is possible to find what is totally right from all aspects?

Because most of us need to get an income to support ourselves and our families and make our lives working.

And then it depends on what we do for a living, how we can support ourselves.

If we can find the right way, it can be good and it makes us feel good to go to work.

So it depends on what work we have and how much stress it contains.

Many people can cut down on their expenses, but if we already have done that

it is easy to find yourself in a bad spirals

Sometimes you need money to invest in something that can make you spend less money ahead

Do you understand what I mean?

Sometimes you need to invest money to make life easier to live

and less stressful. And those investments can be both small and large.

It can be a camera or a vacuum cleaner or a house

To make life less stressful?

And then you need to work and stress more to get those money, so the hard thing is the balance.

Yes, it is hard.

If you are depressed or ill from stress in other ways, you might need help

But you can also listen to yourself and find out what you think is most important

What is the point in worring about this or that and get stressed?

It is easy to get stressed up about things that has not yet happened, but that does not help, we have to tell

ourselves that it is ok to leave those worries and try to be present and take one thing at a time

I like it when you say, Let's put it on the table and look at it.

Just watch it - this is what stresses me right now, how bad is it? What is the worst thing that can happen?

You can write it down and it gets easier to handle

Mostly, it is not as dangerous as you first feel

Is this going to kill me? If the answer is no, then you are on the right way.

Yes, I often ask myself - What is the worst thing that can happen?

If that happens - what happens next? How do I handle this and what is the best thing to do right now?

We are living here for a short while, on this planet and there is so much beauty around

Everything is so volatile and changing, so fragile

Yes, and we have to come to terms with that

We have to remember what life is. We are born, we live, we die.

We just have to handle being a part of the nature.

I think it can be hard to find the right balance between both being here and now, present and at the same time

not only be here and now, but also make plans and understand the past

Because being only in the moment can also be stressful

I mean if we do not even have a plan for what to have for dinner, it gets stressful when it is time to eat

No, that does not work

We have to see the whole picture at the same time

Like we have to act from where we are standing yet knowing what surrounds us

What is behind us only exists as memories

So, it is like a frame and we have to relate to it

Yes, you like that picture

Yes, if I know where my frame is, what my world looks like, I can relate to that

The Serenity Prayer helps me a lot

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change

Courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference

I often find help and strength in the Serenity Prayer

What do you need to feel well?

What does your list look like, for making you happy and without stress?

Hm... Love...

I mean in a greater perspective

It can be nice to be alone, but we are growing and developing through each other and we always need loving people around us some how

It can be hard sometimes, to have people close but we need a community, a context

Maybe the word love has been used too much but it is important

There is a universal love that is important to be able to feel between people

It is about life, the sky, the ocean, the nature, us humans and everything

Do you understand what I mean?

You put it nicely. I also think it is about relations.

Love and friendship is so important!

Then I would like to add food, and what kind of food we eat, being outdoors... but all this is also love.

Yes, it is the same thing!

I think you are so good at expressing these things

I do not know? Am I really?

Yes, I like to talk to you about these things

I think I sound blurry

It is important things to talk about

Knitting is often a way for me to handle stress, practically

The other day, I was too stressed and I wanted to sit down and knit but I could not concentrate on a project

everything was too big for me to handle

I could not focus on a mitten or a sock and least of all on a sweater or a shawl

I needed a smaller project

So I spent the whole weekend in the couch, knitting on something small

Small mittens, this small...

Really tiny mittens in the same pattern as my Wisby mittens

I asked you several times if it was corny, like what are they for?

But we did not find them corny!

No, you said they were cute

They are good for many things

First of all, I could handle not feeling so good by knitting them

So I knitted one more, and one more, and I felt better and better

All the colours, the mini thumbs, I finished them and it all felt so satisfyeing

Then I posted a picture on Instagram, showing the mini mittens

And I got this lovely response from all the people wanting to knit my mini mittens

I was so happy to get the immense feedback

So I contacted Gabriella, who helps me with the graphic design of my patterns, putting text and pictures together

And now you can find the pattern on ravelry! So, now it is also helping us to get food on our table, which is a good thing!

My patterns and this podcast is the biggest part of my job and income

and also some other comissions and tasks too

So suddenly, my very small world, the tiny thing I could focus on to feel better also helped us in a larger perspective

so sometimes we need limitations, restrictions to achieve something bigger and at the same time feel better for the moment

So I could feel stronger and rise from my corner in the couch and feel so much better in many ways

It was so satisfyeing

all this about feeling well and less stressful

But this was not a plan when you started to knit those tiny mittens

And now you have filmed them so we can show you

Yes, let's watch!

One day as I could not focus on something big, I sat down and started to knit something really small.

I knitted one tiny mitten. And then I knitted one more and one more.

I made a garland and I started to dream about Christmas and decorating our Christmas tree.

The Wisby Mini Mittens are knitted in the same pattern as my larger "real" mittens Wisby mittens

They are so cute!

Thank you! You can hold this! But I have also knitted some other things.

I am knitting a pair of Roses are red mittens in a lovely brown

This is my own pattern and I like it so much

I am actually very proud of this design, the lining and the latvian braid, the picot border and the snug fit.

I am making a brown pair as I like to wear brown. And they look good on Patricias (@knitography) mitten blockers

I have also finished this pair, from Maja Karlssons book Trettiofem vantar (35 mittens)

They are called Löftet which means the Promise, Ihave used yarn from Ullcentrum

The brown mittens are knitted in Rauma finull

That Mini Mitten is also made in Rauma

So all these Swedish and Norwegian yarns are also available at The Woolly Thistle in the US!

I am so glad to be able to tell all of you that have had a hard time finding these yarns that you can go to The Woolly Thistle!

And I am almost finished with my new pattern, winter socks, in sock yarn from Opalicius

I have also finished my Riddari

What are you up to?

I am a bit slow, but I am making progress

This is the body, I have just started knitting the sleeves

I do not think you are slow, it can take time

You are doing a great job!

Two years ago, you had never made a single stitch

And now you have made this sweater, and are working on your next

Yes, it feels good

But Iwant to knit more, I do not have enough time to knit

We have many Riddari sweaters in our family now

I have hosted a Riddari knitalong this autumn

And Ella has also made two. So, now we will show you some Riddaris!

Yes, a Riddari film!

I made Dennis a Riddari many years ago and when he started to knit, it was a Riddari he wanted to knit

So he made a brown, in wood colours, and now he is making another one

Ella has made one in grey and blue and now she has also knitted a lovely green one

During my Riddari knitalong, I made a blue one for myself

Then I also made a cardigan.

All the blog posts will remain on my blog if you also want to knit a Riddari, even though the knitalong is finished.

Autumn and winter is a perfect time for airing wool sweaters

The problem about knitting Icelandic sweaters is that it is hard to stop, you always find new colour combinations!

Many sweaters!

And nice looking models!

I am planning more knitalongs, we will see what happens!

We are finished for today!

I think so!

The light is fading

We have to get home before it is dark, bring the lantern and go indoors and light some candles.

Thank you for watching and a warm welcome back!

How to make 100 crores for Retirement - Duration: 5:06.

Welcome Back to Finyugen.

In our last two lessons we have discussed about short and medium-term Investment.

Today, let's talk about Long Term Investment.

Short term investment is quite stressful; the main problem is that it makes us very

anxious and keeps us glued to our computer screen and look at any sharp price movements.

In long term investing, it reduces our anxiety level considerably, it gives us more time

to research and understand the company, we would be investing in.

As quoted by Warren Buffet "When we own portions of outstanding businesses with outstanding

managements, our favourite holding period is forever."

And this is our objective for long term Investment.

Long term investment is simple — we buy slices of companies in the hope that their

revenues and profits increase and the share prices will follow.

But how do we avoid the frustration and stress that the long term investing also brings?

The answer is simple.

In Long term Investing, we are able to understand the opportunities and risks associated with

the company.

Once we are clear about it, we can wait for a decade or more for exponential returns.

Before I explain our selection process, I would like you to understand that this is

not the only strategy available.

There are different strategies to select the company you would like to go for.

There are various different strategies to choose the company you like to invest in

Today's video is to explain about finding Disruptive companies.

Disruptive means its going to change the traditional way an industry operates to a new and effective

way: Effectively disruptive companies are also associated with secular growth for several

years or decades.

Growth is of two types.

1.

Cyclical and 2.

Secular.

A cyclical growth is a type of growth that is sensitive to the business cycle.

For example, industries like Metals, housing and commodities perform significantly well

in terms of revenue when economy is growing and perform poorer when economy has a downturn.

Secular growth, on the other hand, happens when a new technology disrupts an old traditional

business model.

Two factors contribute to an industry's secular growth: one, new demand owing to the

innovation and two, the replacement demand from the old business model.

To understand it clearly, we are taking up pipe industry.

Before the year 2005, the water pipe Industry comprised of only two segments: GI Pipes and

the PVC pipes each had its own advantages and disadvantages.

By the end of the year, a new technology was introduced by a relatively small company called

Astral Poly which introduced a CPVC technology into the market.

The advent of the new technology solved all the problems created by GI & PVC pipes, thus

emerged as the leader of the piping industry.

GI Pipes corrodes over time while PVC pipes melts when hot water is passed.

Astral pipes not only overcome these cons but it also had other list of advantages like:

Tough, Rigid Material, Easy, Cost Effective Installation, Unaffected by Chlorine, Lower

Thermal Conductivity, Chemical, Fire and Corrosion Resistance, Low Bacteria Build Up, Over Forty

Years of Proven Performance in the advanced countries

Besides the company had the right kind of collaborations; they are the First licensee

of Noveon, USA to manufacture and market CPVC in India.

They also had a techno-financial joint venture with Specialty Process LLC of USA, which provides

them the required technical expertise for manufacturing CPVC pipes and fittings

Buffett once quipped "Opportunities come infrequently.

When it rains gold, put out the bucket, not the thimble".

Disruptive companies do not come very often but in a growing and emerging economy we can

often find great innovative companies.

The secret of making big money in the stock market is finding and committing capital to

these disruptive companies.

Astral polytechnic grew strength to strength from the 2007 till now.

Because of the disruptive nature it attracted more dealers and distributor strength across

the country.

The business grew from few hundred crores to few thousand crores in a span of 8 year.

In an efficient market, stock prices would be determined primarily by fundamentals.

In this case of Astral the stock has grown by 200 times in the last decade.

In case you would have Invested a Lakh in that company in 2008, it would have become

2 Crores now.

This is the secret of finding the disruptive money.

I am sure using this technique you would join the millionaires club soon.

With this we have come to the end of our show.

I am sure you would have like this video.

Nuestras Mascotas #3 SAFARY ❤️🦎 Tupinambis Rufescens (Red Tegu) - Duration: 5:01.

look who we have here in our great safari friend that

I was moving a bit and we have taken out is very cold because it is

going out to hibernate look that beast and it's super super nice as you know

it's about how it was and it's about a Tupinambis rufescens is also you

llama in red tegu habitat and it is an authentic beating looking what beast

now it's super cold is hibernating as well

and it's an animal pass because I teach this animal because he knows that

we are making a video of all our pets and what I wanted

lie to him pass a boy and what we had was when to teach something the

tupinambis tell you that this is not easy to keep far from it and that the

people many times bought to swim while he's still tiny like that, nothing at all and he does not know

imagine that he is going to do this great what you do not know is what to get

that is done so deducing is very very difficult and requires a lot of work for

our part to get the animal Super calm and super confident for

with us how can we get all this to

through positive stimulation taking small moments of interaction with

they constant but very short too it is super important for this what

we can do is use the food or just let it pass freely

what happens I have to say that the tupinambis along with the the more brother for me

they have the most human looks that there is a truth that you look at the

eyes and it's an authentic past to admire that we looked like, many of us

you only know freddy but We have three women and three medians and

except the females and I go out the females rufete is that they have

a little more genius the truth is that little by little they are calming down

the safari that is this that we have here when the truth came it was quite

beast was left to touch but not at all nothing to catch and now little by little

where will you look look what else pretty and now little by little she's going

reassuring and stays a little bit more in arms see what a beautiful thing

animal please is a beast you know that apart from the size of the main

differences that we can find in this species between males and females is

the double chin if you notice that you can see it anyone if you look here you can see

the double chin that has and is once is already a beast

is to say more handsome than all things so swim with you when we

we do as tupinambis we have to take into account the size that reaches the

size that needs the strength that it has the amount of food you eat because

all these are factors that can do that then we repent and much

of having these animals so if not you have space, time and money to

keep it up I recommend that you do not you fuck you do not give us and so nothing

let's leave it tranquilito I hope that you liked it, let's record it if it's

a little too so you can see it better and that's it

look a milestone so be freddie then

but what happens what happens what happens that put it

with this I'm driving, I'm driving so here we are going to leave

guys thank you very much for having seen us the video a big hug michelle and we

we see the next one if you want what we teach more you just have to send us

a message that leave it down in the comments

and whenever we can we will be taking what happens is that I activate

now it is feeding and although the hibernation of these animals is a

little bit different then what is going to happen

so I'm doing everything says 2 a hug and you know how to subscribe and

as always, thank you very much for support us

and we are going to keep it and here we are getting nervous so a strong

hug and see you in the next up then

ah

Indian Parents Are The Biggest Trolls | BuzzFeed India - Duration: 4:28.

He was like, "Have I ever lied to you?"

And I was like, "Yeah."

"My dad has never lied to me. True."

This happened when I was probably six or seven.

I would throw a lot of tantrums.

One day, I'm being my extremely adorable, naughty self,

and my parents decide to tell me that I'm adopted.

And I said, "Ha ha. That's not funny because, you know, how can I be adopted?"

My dad made me believe that if I didn't eat my food,

worms would start appearing in my stomach,

and they would start growing out of my ears, my nostrils,

my mouth, and my eyes as well.

I had to complete my Hindi homework.

I had, like, five proverbs, and I had to, you know, construct sentences out of that.

One of the proverbs was "Naach na jaane aangan tedha."

And my dad comes up to me, and he's like,

"What are you doing?" So I showed him.

Then he says, "The proverb itself is wrong."

I was like...?

And he said, "It's actually 'Naach na jaane baingan tedha.' "

Fun fact about me: a lot of people think that my sister and I look very alike.

If I was adopted, I would not look exactly like her.

In fact, my grandmother once said that my sister looks like me with a wig.

So my parents, being the badasses that they are,

tell me that my sister has been adopted too.

And they adopted both of us four years apart

from the same set of parents — I don't know, it doesn't even make sense.

But then I started crying, and I cried and cried

and then my parents realised it wasn't funny.

So basically every time during mealtime, it would literally be like,

"Oh, there are two worms here."

And I would be like, "Oh, no no no. Give me food, give me food."

And I would eat, eat, eat. And he'll be like,

"Yeah, they're gone."

"But I can feel three more worms here."

And I would be like, "Oh s***, I have to eat."

And he's not even a doctor, okay? I'm just eating and eating.

And even after I was full, I would just keep eating.

I would eat food and I would go running to him and say, "Papa, papa

please check my stomach for worms. I'm not sure if I have any more worms left."

And now I have a phobia of worms.

"Naach na jaane aangan tedha" loosely translates to

"A bad workman always blames his tools."

Producer: And what does "Naach na jaane baingan tedha" translate to?

"If you don't know how to dance, your aubergine is tilted."

I don't know!

He was like, "Have I ever lied to you?"

And I was like, "Yeah. My dad has never lied to me. True."

He was like, "If you don't believe me, go ask your teacher tomorrow."

And the next day, in Hindi class —

Our teacher was super sweet, okay? She was the nicest.

Hi, Suchitra ma'am!

And she walked into the class, and she was like, "Hi everyone."

She was like, "Okay, who didn't finish their homework?" And I was like —

"Me.

I didn't finish my homework."

She was like, "Why? What happened?"

I was like, "No, one of your questions was wrong."

Your proverb is wrong.

And I was like, it's not "Naach na jaane aangan tedha."

And she's like...

okay?

And I was like, "Yeah. It's 'Naach na jaane baingan tedha.' "

And the whole class starts laughing at me,

including my teacher, and she's like, "Listen,

If you didn't want to finish your homework, you don't have to lie about it."

And I was like, "No!

My father said!"

She was like, "Nah, bro.

Your father is just lying to you."

I was like, "No, teacher. My father said. My father told me."

Then she was just like, "Shut up."

I can't even look at photographs of worms.

I get very scared,

which was not a very helpful thing when I

went to college and did my degree in zoology

and had to dissect worms.

I think I am the first student in the history of

Hansraj College, Delhi University who dissected worms without touching the worms.

I learnt that it's not possible to have worms coming out of

your nose, your ears, or your mouth.

I'm scared of snakes as well.

According to my five-year-old imagination,

snakes are just bigger worms with fangs.

Surprisingly, I took it as a joke later.

When we grow up, we do manage to troll our parents every day

by just existing, and being ourselves.

I've used this situation to my advantage multiple times later

where I've brought it up so that I've gotten things which I wouldn't have got otherwise.

Guess who trolled you, Mom and Dad!

GUESS WHO TROLLED YOU.

What I learnt from this was that I should never believe my parents.

Now I don't trust them.

Everything they say is like...

What are you trying to do?

Worms do not come out of your ears if you don't eat food.

That is not possible. Other things are possible,

but worms will definitely not come out of your ears, or your eyes,

or your nostrils, or your mouth if you don't eat food.

No, that's not possible.
