Hey there, Michael Church, CrawlSpaceNinja.com, and we got a great question about why do we

not insulate the subfloor after we encapsulate a crawl space.

Stay tuned.

Okay, just to be clear, you can insulate the subfloor of an encapsulated crawl space, but

we find that the return on your investment after paying for fiberglass or rock wool insulation

in the subfloor, simply is not worth it.

Plus, any type of insulation inside the sub floor can hide plumbing leaks and be a pest

bed for snakes and rodents and all that sort of thing, alright?

Oak Ridge National Laboratories, here locally in Tennessee, did research and found that

insulating the walls of an encapsulated crawl space is more efficient and less expensive

than insulating the subfloor.

So, that's why we choose to do the walls instead of the subfloor.

Plus, if you do getting a plumbing leak and the insulation gets wet that's in the subfloor,

it's ruined, even if you have an encapsulated crawl space.

Now, it may just be a piece or it could be the entire kitchen floor, but you got to remove

all of that insulation and put it back.

If our foam board gets wet, it's designed to get wet, it's designed to touch the ground,

it's termite resistant, it can get wet over, and over, and over.

The crawl space can flood, you can have water coming in the foundation walls, hitting the

foam board, going down into the trench and sump pump, you don't want to have to replace it.

So, that's why we choose to do a foundation wall with our termite resistant foam board

versus doing subfloor insulation.

Hi all.

Today I want to talk about the Essence

Pure Nude foundation.

It claims to be a foundation Make Up

Natural Finish No Makeup Feel,

so a product with a natural finish

that is not felt on the skin.

The color I tried is 30 Pure Honey,

the amount of the package is a 30 ml

and the price is Euro 4.99.

It comes with the classic pump dispenser

that I find practical and hygienic.

First of all I must say that it really keeps the word given,

in fact it promises to be a foundation for bare skin

effect,

and actually has a really low coverage.

I tried to apply it with my fingers,

with the sponge and with the brush

but the coverage is always low, although I must

say that it fades really well and does not tend

to oxidize once dried.

I find it suitable for those who want to slightly

uniform the color for a No Makeup effect,

always if you do not have imperfections

or stains to cover,

because in this case it is certainly not for you.

I admit I'm a lover of opaque foundations,

but I ended up using it in the hot period when

I did not want too many heavy products on my skin.

A negative fact that I found,

is that even if it is a light finish product,

it has a fairly creamy texture,

and on my mixed skin tends to polish the area t

in a few hours, even if fixed with powder.

Unfortunately I do not recommend it

at all to those who have mixed or greasy skin

because not only shines the face but tends to move

creating spots of color where it slips away,

even if fixed with layers of a good powder.

I find that this foundation can be appreciated

by those who have a normal skin tending to dryness,

and who does not like to have covering products

on the skin,

but maybe just want to slightly uniform

the color of the face.

In this case also seen the price,

maybe I can recommend to try it.

For mixed or oily skin,

normal tending to fat,

or for those who have imperfections or signs of time

to cover,

it is absolutely not the product for you.

step vending Corp ticker symbol on the OTC United States markets is Kos K which

might be short for kiosk because this company offers CBD cannabidiol vending

machines I don't see a whole lot of companies in this space yet it's not too

crowded so if they can get in on the ground floor there it could be very

lucrative and here's the website one-step vending calm and they have a

website where they offer CBD oil based products online but a lot of companies

are doing that what sets this company part I think is their vending machines

yeah could you imagine that in college campuses perhaps or workplaces malls

maybe you know vending machines with CBD products yeah if they get in on that

early then they could be one of the first movers in the space it could be

very lucrative but of course be careful these are all speculative so you know

any of these smaller marijuana stocks you want to do your own due diligence do

your own research for sure don't just buy it because I'm telling you about it

okay so that's the first one the second one is one that you might have heard of

but maybe not Oxley cannabis on the OTC markets CB WTF one of the first cannabis

streaming companies what is that streaming

infusing capital into a company in exchange for a stream of revenue from

production in the future and it's now a fully vertically integrated cannabis

company but they got early into the streaming space not the only one but one

of the first ones and here's the website Oxley calm and I like the fact that they

have a lot of joint ventures or strategic partnerships with a number of

companies Dixie brands which has edibles delta-9 spirit leaf alright and they

have a number of in-house brand's yeska back 40 cannabis merry times all right

so you'll want to research it for yourself if you're thinking about buying

the the stock of course its Oxley calm alright here's another one that's

unusual you might want to check out hemp Co food and fibre Inc on the tsx V

exchange in Canada HMP hemp and on the OTC markets in the United States the

ticker symbol is H M PPF hemp based foods for human and animal consumption

let's check out their website while we're at it there it is hemp Co pretty

cool that's a professional looking website and superfood hemp hearts

supersedes all right super grains that looks pretty cool to me Planet hemp

launched in 2017 after over a decade of being strictly a bulk hemp seed

processor and supplier planet hemp is there an exciting range of hemp based

foods sir it says certified organic they've got omega-3s omega-6 fatty acids

and all that good stuff vitamin vitamin minerals fibers so on so forth that you

might want to check it out protein smoothies I don't know if these taste

good I have not tried them so I'd be curious to see if you know if this

tastes and he could alright let's check out some of the other product products

here hemp protein powder yeah is it good for you I don't know hey it's got the

nutrition facts there so maybe check it out

space you want to see what they look like here they are not a great picture

not high quality but it's it's the first one I found all right

kind of strips there they are they don't look delicious that color mmm okay I did

maybe they should put some food coloring in it a little bit and make it look a

little more enticing and I don't know what it tastes like don't know if it

tastes good but hey if that floats your boat and I'll bet it floats a lot of

people's boats if they don't want to smoke it or however you want to take it

you know could be something new something different and if it takes off

then if you got in early hey you could make some money off of that alright so

check those out as I'm telling you check out the websites read them carefully

check the fine angels' make sure that they don't have a

lot of debt make sure they're profitable or at least have the potential to be

profitable a lot of these pot stock slides you know HAMP and cannabis based

companies might not be profitable profitable in the first year two years

three years but if they have a good plan to become profitable then they might be

worth investing in anyway all right but you have to be really careful these are

all speculative so please don't put a lot of money into these if you decide to

invest please only put a small amount whatever you can afford to lose and

2018 Financial Recap || Financial Goals || #debtfreecommunity - Duration: 6:49.

How is it possible I could have this much makeup on and have it look like I have

nothing on? Because I have a lot of makeup on. I mean A LOT. In January of

2018 this year we set out with actual financial goals. No seriously, we did. We

just chose to ignore them completely. But it turned out even better. Kind of.

Hey guys it's Wendy Valencia! My husband Mauricio, my 7 year old, Melina

and I are 33 months into our debt free journey. 33 months. If you watch my intro

video I think I said in under 3 years. Yeah. We're not even close. But in those

33 months we have paid off over a $188,000 dollars

Which is pretty stinkin' incredible.

But lately life has seemed to get in the way and when life starts getting in the

way it's time to make some changes and that is exactly what we did in 2018.

mMuch like a crash diet you really can only stay on the beans and rice diet for

so long I think we're really on the beans and rice diet we're on the beans

and rice with like steak and Chilean sea bass it's like it truthfully when you

deprive yourself there comes a point when deprivation is really just too much

and too hard and you just can't sustain it and we have been committed from the

beginning to show you the whole process and we actually realized this very very

quickly into the process that if we cut absolutely everything out we were never

gonna make it so we do actually put fun money and spending money and shopping

money into our budget it's not extreme but we do have some so we do have some

flexibility in our budget every month that we can just spend if we want to i

think i'm of the philosophy I'd rather be debt-free and have it take six extra

months then not make it so every year I get all

all the youtubers from my frugal financial YouTube group where I'm an

administrator over there it's kind of ironic that I'm an administrator in a

frugal YouTube group because I'm not frugal not even a little bit I am a

financial youtuber though so that's where that kicks it Oh a bunch of us

have gotten together and we're gonna talk about our wins and our fails our

ups and our downs our highs and our lows a simply whether we met the goals we set

out at the beginning of the year or not so let's talk the pros and the cons of

this year or our wins and fails if you want to call it that financial win

number one we paid off seventy nine thousand six hundred eighty dollars I'm

99 cents and that 99 cents hurts me in a place in my soul that is slightly

obsessive about order and organization one penny more seriously why didn't I

catch that earlier but then I would have been eighty one dollars and it's a whole

numbers thing but that number is a full $15,000 more and then we paid off in

2017 which is pretty cool financial win number two we paid off our biggest loan

which was our Navy Federal Credit Union loan which started out at a hundred and

forty thousand dollars financial win number three we started a sinking fund

so we could go on a trip to Colombia to visit Maurizio's family financial win

number four when we stopped succeeding and we started losing motivation and we

totally changed things up and it actually worked

financial win number five we had our 2015 taxes redone by a tax professional

and that's why we were able to pay fifteen thousand dollars more off this

year than we did last year financial win number six we signed up for an FSA for

both medical and child care for 2019 we've had one before but we wanted to

make sure we were spending the appropriate amount before we signed up

again so we actually tracked for three years to get our averages and then we

went ahead and signed up in number seven we decided to stay in

this house where my parents live and there's a lot of reasons for it one a

little tiny portion was so we could pay off a little more debt but that's

actually not the primary reason the biggest reason is to help out my parents

and coincidentally staying in my parents house is actually a financial fail

number one well it's a fail it's not a huge fail because we know it's the best

decision for absolutely everyone involved however it was our primary goal

for 2018 and we didn't achieve it we didn't even come close because our first

step was to pay off that Navy Federal Credit Union loan and once we paid that

off we were gonna save up to move by the time that rolled around we just we knew

we weren't going anywhere financial fail number two September

October November yeah if we had actually realized that we were suffering the lack

of motivation after paying off our biggest loan we probably would have

changed things up more quickly and maybe we would have put in another fifteen ten

to fifteen thousand into our debt payoff financial fail number three we were over

budget for Christmas but we're always over budget and this is like the closest

to not over budget we've ever been so that's kind of a win right look at me

putting a positive spin on stuff financial fail number four our medical

bills were read all Kilis this year and we had no plan for them we have a

sinking fund for seven hundred and fifty dollars for the deductible but that's it

so this is something we will be absolutely addressing in 2019 because

right now we got multiple issues going on that need to be dealt with relatively

speaking our winds were way bigger than our fails it not only number but actual

volume I mean we paid off a whole massive debt and we paid almost $80,000

to debt this year so that's pretty stinkin amazing I'm pretty proud of us

How To Replace Headlight Bulb | Honda Odyssey (Quick and Easy) - Duration: 5:43.

Handy Hudsonite here. Today I'm going to show you how to replace a headlight bulb

on a Honda Odyssey. So you want to open the hood. I'm going to be working on the

passenger side of the vehicle of my 2004 Honda Odyssey. Access is right back here,

right behind the coolant reservoir, so a little bit of space to work with. There's

a clip back here that you want to unsnap. This is just the wiring harness right

there. I just pushed on this lever on the side and it came right off. In fact, I

think you can just pull it right off. Next, you want to pull this rubber

housing out. Don't worry, you're not going to break this by pulling it out of its

seating. It's just to keep moisture out. Then, in here, you'll see the bulb in

there. Now, there is a wiring harness that's holding it in place and so in

order to disengage that we are just going to push on it.

Alright, it just kind of swings right out like a gate. You see that latch

there? So now we're left with the bulb in there and to get the bulb out - it

just pulls right out. And this is mine that's burned out. Let's see if we can

see the filament that's broken on it. Anyway, I have high beams but my low beams are

not working, so let's get the new bulb and get this replaced. My particular

model takes a 9003, also compatible with the h4. This is the XtraVision

made by Sylvania, but GE and other brands also make the replacement

bulb. So it's going to look like this and I'll put a link in the description to

where you can pick this up or similar items. Now you can pay more and get a

bulb that is going to be more heavy-duty or long long lasting, but I'm okay with

the basic one for our vehicle. Here's the new Sylvania bulb. The thing with this is you

want to avoid touching the the glass area on it. You want to pay attention to

these guides in here to see exactly how this is going to go in. So

we're gonna get this put back into place.

It's a little tricky to see because you don't have a lot of good visibility down here.

Alright, so I got this set back in. It's a little tricky getting the

bulb set back in there. I mean the process is very simple, but you just have

to make sure it's seated in there correctly so that that wire harness can

go over the bulb. And that's actually what holds the bulb in place. So we have

that back in now. We just need to get this rubber sleeve put back on and

connect the wiring harness and should be good to go. So we got the wiring harness

back on, that rubber sleeve back on. Let's test the lights to see if they're going to

come on. Looks like we have success! A nice bright headlight on. And again, I'm

on the passenger side and there's the oil dipstick. And that is a video that I

have done on how to change your oil, particularly in a Honda Odyssey. And I

also did a video on how to replace the battery in a Honda Odyssey.

So be sure to watch those. If you want to replace your bulb on the driver's side

it's a little more involved. You've got a grounding grounding cable there you may

have to take out. You don't have to but it's gonna help with the access. As you

can see, the socket back in there - there's a couple inches of room. You could

probably do this by getting your hand in there, especially if you have a smaller

hand. If you want complete access I would recommend removing the battery and also

removing this plastic piece to be able to access it. You might be able to get

that piece out. I have not done this side on my vehicle before. You might be

able to slip that plastic piece out without taking the battery out.

Regardless, if you're going to be removing the grounding I recommend

disconnecting the negative lead on your battery first before you do that just to

so you don't risk shorting out your system.

That is how you replace the headlight bulb on your car's, specifically a Honda

The Big Problem With The North Pole - Duration: 4:16.

Today we're doing something pretty special — exploring the Life Noggin north pole!

Just in time for after Christmas!

Oooh I hope it's Santa!

Santa doesn't visit these parts, and i know it's after Christmas, but there's still a

chance!

Hold up, gang!

Do you see that?!

It's probably Santa!

Wait a minute… that's not Santa.

It's just a big pile of plastics!

Darn it.

I was worried about this happening.

It seems that some of the plastic waste that we're creating in the Life Noggin world

is finding its way up here.

Actually, similar problems are going on with your north pole too.

Just last year, in the middle of the Arctic Ocean, researchers from a British-led expedition

found decently-sized chunks of plastic lying around on frozen sheets of ice.

Now, we already knew that the world's oceans were being polluted by plastics and other

waste, but this was one of the most distant sightings of this type of pollution up north

— only around 1,600 kilometers from the north pole itself.

We're only really learning about this now because scientists couldn't get to the area

before because of ice in the sea blocking the way.

Not only is this pollution not cool for my polar pals, but scientists are worried that

these plastics and other trash could get dumped into the ocean as climate change causes the

ice to melt — adding to our already bad problem of plastic pollution in the ocean.

It's estimated that you humans produce about 300 million tons of plastic each year, with

around 8 million metric tons of the stuff ending up in the ocean.

That's a lot of plastic!

And these plastics can last for a long time, which is great for consumer purposes, but

really bad for the Earth's ecosystems.

We've all seen the heartbreaking pictures of turtles and other sea creatures with plastics

around their mouths or deforming their bodies.

Unfortunately, the problem extends far beyond even that when we're talking about what's

called "microplastics".

Microplastics are super small pieces of plastic that are less than five millimeters long.

Their small size makes microplastics especially harmful to aquatic life as they can more easily

enter the animal's bodies and make their way into the food chain.

It's bad for you too, as those microplastics can even end up in your seafood.

But plastic isn't even the only type of pollution to be worried about in the Arctic,

though.

Human-made noise pollution could also be a problem, especially as the ice melts, potentially

affecting how the sound travels up there.

Certain animals, like ringed seals and beluga whales, use sound to communicate and navigate

through the dark depths of the ocean.

Narwhals even use biosonar to hunt for fish, so if humans are making a bunch of noise up

there, it could really throw things off.

Well, we really learned a lot today, but i was kinda hoping i would run into...
