Okay, so this is a very useful expression to ask for someone's opinion on something

and you've probably noticed that the native speed version is very reduced

so we basically reduce the phrase and there are kind of two versions to this.

Sometimes we say "Wha" and the "Wha" sound becomes very short and then we say "jer",

so the "do you" becomes a "jer" merged sound and then "think", sometimes we don't always

release the "k" sound at the end, so it's like "thin", "thin", "thin".

So together, three parts: "wha-jer-thin"?

Some native speakers of English make it even shorter and it sounds like "cha-thin", "cha-thin", "cha-thin",

so it's just the second and third part that you'll hear.

So to put this into practice, please repeat after me slowly.

Around my house, there is a plant. Kinda look like this!

Many people might have seen this plant before.

It is called "Bow Pae" or Ruellia Tuberosa"

It yields pod that looks just like this.

It grows like a normal grass.

Have you ever try to lick the pods and let it explode in your mouth?

Normally, it will pop when the pod touch water.

So Today, I want to do that...

Hi friends! In today's video i will show you how to get a soft, glowing and bright skin by using a 2 step process just before sleeping.

I have used these two steps for 12 to 15 days and i have got magical results on my skin

So I thought i should share this video with all of you. So, let's begin!

Before any skin care, it is important to prepare your skin, so take a towel and dip it in a bowl of warm water

Then clean your skin with the towel, while doing steaming

After preparing your skin, for the 1st step, take 1 teaspoon of glycerin in a bowl

Then add 8 to 10 drops of water in it and mix it very well

Now apply the glycerin mixture all over your skin

Glycerin can be used on all types of skin and it acts as a very good moisturizer.

And it gives a youthful glow to the ageing and dull skin

After applying the glycerin, wait for 10 min and feel free to do anything in between, be it passing time or any important work.

After 10 min, soak a cotton ball in water and then clean your skin with it

Along with being a great moisturizer, the glycerin acts as a good cleaning agent as well

If you find your skin getting too sticky after cleaning with a cotton ball then use fresh water to thoroughly wash your skin.

Then the second step is multiple time toner application.

Make sure the toner you are using does not contain any alcohol, best would be to use pure rose water

I am using the pure rose water from Kama Ayurveda

In Korean skin care, 7 time toner application is called 7 skin method and my process is inspired from this famous Korean method.

In this method, after the cleansing process, apply the toner on your skin in a dabbing motion, once the toner is absorbed reapply it. Continue reapplying the toner for 5-7 times.

Using the toner like this for multiple times, makes your skin very hydrated and your skin looks very healthy.

When you apply the toner for the last time, you will notice that your skin has become healthy and glowing

After following the 2 steps you can go to sleep and in the morning you will notice that your skin is glowing more than ever.

After this 2 steps you can use a moisturizer as well, if you want to. It completely depends on your preference.

Global economic growth to reach fastest rate in seven years in 2018 - Duration: 1:48.

As 2017 starts to wind down,... investment banks have crunched their numbers and released

their growth projections for the global economy in 2018.

Overall it looks good,... especially for South Korea, which is forecast to further cement

its position as one of the world's strongest economies.

Kim Hyesung has this report.

2018 looks set to be a year of good economic growth around the globe.

According to Bloomberg's investment banks' median estimates, the global economic growth

outlook for 2018 is three-point-seven percent.

Goldman Sachs and Barclays were the most bullish, predicting global growth to reach four percent

next year, which would be the highest since 2011's four-point-three percent.

(Korean- ed: steve)- "Stronger growth in the U.S.,... backed by

tax cuts and a cyclical recovery in the Eurozone,... is expected to boost global economic growth

next year."

Advanced economies' solid economic growth is expected to increase global oil demand,

giving a boost to Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Banks forecast those countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and others, to see a

rebound from this year's zero-point-eight percent to two-point-three percent next year.

China, which has been the driver of the global economy, is expected to see slower growth

next year, a fall from this year's six-point-eight percent to six-point-four percent... as the

country works to rein in growing debt and oversupply.

South Korea, however, is set to see its growth momentum continue, and hit around three percent

again in 2018.

South Korea has enjoyed solid economic growth on the back of its strong exports.

Quarterly data released by the OECD on Monday showed South Korea's third quarter real GDP

recording one-and-a-half percent, the third highest in the G20.

Of all the UN speeches this year, the one that's got the highest number of views on

YouTube was given by a humanoid robot.

The video was taken in October at the UN offices in Geneva... and shows the robot, called "Sophia,"

showing off its excellent communication skills with a senior UN official.

Sophia is modeled after actress Audrey Hepburn, and uses AI, visual data processing and facial

recognition.

It also became the first robot to be made a citizen of a country, given citzenship in

Saudi Arabia this year.

Gimp for Beginners: How to Crop an Image - Duration: 1:57.

In this Gimp Workshop we will see two different ways to crop an image.

When we have opened gimp, we click on file and then on open.

Here we search for our image.

In the preview pane we can see if we have the right image.

Click open.

Then we click on view, zoom and fit image in window to maximize the image in the window.

In the toolbox we click on the crop tool.

Now we can, by click and drag, make our cutout.

By click and drag the handles and or the corners, we can make corrections and when we click

and drag inside the image, we can move the whole cutout.

Press enter or click in one of the corners to apply.

Another way of cropping an image is by using the rectangle select tool.

First we go to edit and click undo crop image.

Now we activate the rectangle select tool.

Then we click and drag out a selection.

Here too, we can, by click and drag the handles and or the corners, make corrections and when

we click and drag inside the image, we can move the whole selection.

Press enter or click in one of the corners to apply. Go to the menu bar, click image and

then click crop to selection.

To save our work, we go to file.

Here we can click overwrite, so we overwrite our existing image, or we can click export

as, and export the cropped image under a new name to whatever folder we like.

Gimp for Beginners: Brightness and Contrast - Duration: 1:40.

In this video we will see how we can change the brightness and contrast of an image.

When Gimp is already open, we can open our image folder, and bring the image that needs

corrections into Gimp by drag and drop.

Then we click on the zoom icon in the top right corner of the window to fit the image

in the window.

Go to the menu bar and click on colors.

Here we click on brightness and contrast.

We can play around a bit with the sliders to get the desired result.

Click reset to start anew.

For this image I have made the brightness plus 40 and the contrast also plus 40 by clicking

4 times of both slider lines.

Click the preview button off and on, to see the difference.

When we are satisfied with the result, we can click ok.

To safe our work, we go to file.

Here we can overwrite our original image, or we can export it by clicking on export

as.

Now we can give our image a new name, hit enter.

When we click export, we have saved our original as well as our new image.

And that is how we change the brightness and contrast of an image.

N. Korea may seek for dialogue with U.S. as 'nuclear state': unification ministry - Duration: 2:22.

South Korea's unification ministry sees that North Korea has more or less achieved an upgrade

in its nuclear and missile capabilities this year... and may seek for a negotiation with

the U.S. next year as a 'nuclear state.'

Feeling tired of international military pressure and economic sanctions,... the regime may

look for a way out... which is why eyes are falling on Kim Jong-un's New Year's speech.

Oh Jung-hee has more.

North Korea has made some progress in developing its nuclear and missile capabilities this

year... and next year, the regime may seek to be recognized as a 'nuclear state'... and

negotiate with the U.S.

That's... the South Korean unification ministry's evaluation and outlook on North Korea.

The ministry says...

Pyongyang has enhanced its nuclear capabilities and missile range... through September's nuclear

test and multiple missile launches this year.

But the ministry says... it's unclear whether the regime can actually fire an intercontinental

ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead.

The economic impact of international sanctions is starting to hit the regime,... as figures

show... the North's trade with China decreased by over 10-percent in November compared to

last year... and total exports fell,... by almost 32-percent on-year.

The number of its overseas workers has also dropped.

International humanitarian assistance for North Korea is on the decline... and several

of its ambassadors have been expelled,... which implies the regime is becoming further

isolated.

The unification ministry says... the regime may seek a way-out of its current state next

year.

And that's why the young North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's New Year's speech next week...

will draw much attention.

(Korean) "Kim Jong-un's New Year's speech lays out

the regime's overall direction for domestic politics and the economy, as well as for relations

with other countries.

There's a high possibility that Kim may declare the regime's completion of its nuclear weapons

program and turn toward a peaceful dialogue with the surrounding countries."

For the last two years, Pyongyang has been passive in interacting with Seoul,... making

no replies to Seoul's suggestion of military talks and Red Cross conferences.

The unification ministry says it will pay close attention to whether the North will

hint of a change to that... through the upcoming New Year's speech.

KOSDAQ hits record accumulated trading value high in 2017 - Duration: 1:32.

It's been a record year for stocks in Korea.

The junior index, the KOSDAQ, which has more of a technology focus, has been hitting new

highs, growing faster than ever before.

One reason is the government's been trying to encourage investment in innovative companies.

Park Hee-jun has more.

Korea's junior stock index, the KOSDAQ, is having a 2017 to remember.

The total value of shares traded on the tech-heavy index rose to eight-hundred-14 billion U.S.

dollars this year, for the fastest growth since it opened in 1996.

The Korea Exchange and the Korea Securities Computing Corporation said Tuesday that the

KOSDAQ topped the previous record set in 2015 thanks to a bullish market for biotech-related

shares.

In December, the trading value on a daily basis surpassed that of the benchmark KOSPI

every day except two.

In terms of trading volume, this year was the second-highest with over one-hundred-75

billion shares changing hands as of December 22nd.

The KOSDAQ has been setting records since October when share prices jumped suddenly

on companies related to virtual currencies.

Market watchers are also optimistic that the KOSDAQ will have a big 2018 after the index

topped the 800 mark for the first time earlier this month.

Experts attribute that in part to the government's efforts to revitalize KOSDAQ-listed companies

and new life for stocks related to China after Seoul and Beijing improved relations in the

latter half of the year.

Gimp for Beginners: Red Eye Removal - Duration: 2:32.

In this video we will see how we can remove the red eyes from an image.

Right click on the image in your image folder, go to open with, and click on Gimp.

Before applying the Red Eye Removal filter, we must do a selection of the boundary of

the iris of the eye(s) having a red pupil.

Go to the toolbox and click on the ellipse select tool.

In the tool options we click on the second mode, which is add to current selection.

Click the option feather edges and make the treshold 5.

Then we check the option fixed aspect ratio, which by default should be 1:1.

In that way we will get a circle shape when we make our selection.

Place the cursor between the eyes.

When we press and hold the Ctrl key, and then roll the mouse wheel, we can zoom in.

Now we drag out a circle shaped selection in the iris of one of the eyes, as shown in

the video.

By click and drag inside the selection we can move the whole selection.

Then we do the same with the other eye.

Now go to the menu bar, click on filters, enhance and then on red eye removal.

When we place the cursor on the corner edge of the dialogbox, it changes into a double

diagonal arrow and we can pull out the window a bit.

Here we can zoom in or out, and with the scroll bar we can move the image in the preview pane.

By sliding the handle we can adjust the treshold to our liking.

Then by clicking the preview button of and on, we can see the difference.

Now click ok.

Go to select and click none.

Then go to view, zoom and fit image in window, and there we have it, our red eyes are removed.

To safe our work, we go to file.

Here we go to overwrite, to overwrite the original image with the corrected image.
