- Hey guys, I'm Tucker.
I'm here today to show off my 2004 Tahoe, so,
let's go check it out.

I bought this Tahoe a year ago,
it was a Texas truck.
Right off the bat
I knew I wanted to do something to it so
I put it on a leveling kit, put some spacers on it and
started out there.
About five months ago,
I bought some wheels and tires.
I started with a 17 by nine Vision Prowlers
with Federal Couragias on 'em.
Didn't really like the look of it
so I ended up selling them and ended up buying
a set of 20 by 12 Red Dirt Roads
wrapper with Atturo AZ800s and a 275 60.
Ran that with the street truck look for a couple months.
About three or four weeks ago
I decided that it was time to go bigger,
so I put a four inch Tuff Country Lift in.
I bought this lift kit from a buddy on Team Stance.
He was looking to go bigger.
I didn't really know if I wanted to go bigger
and it was a nice budget lift for me to pick up.
To get my truck lifted
as opposed to sitting on a leveling kit.
Leveling kit was getting a little bit rough
so I wanted to go bigger.
I picked the Ridge Grapplers
because I was looking for the more aggressive tread pattern
but didn't really want the mud terrain tread.
Didn't really want the howl on the highway,
didn't want to be losing mileage
because of having a mud terrain
and the new Ridge Grapplers are,
they looked really nice
so I went that cross tread
as opposed to going with a mud terrain or an all terrain.
So far I'm very happy with them.
They have a slight howl on the highway.
Other than that they're real good.
The reason I went with the Red Dirt Roads
is I really like the design that they used.
I liked how they put the Red Dirt Road name
around the entire edge of it.
It's got about a six inch lift,
they're a negative 44 offset.
Very happy with the look of them,
very happy with how they finished out.
We're gonna see this winter
how well their paint holds up to Wisconsin's winter.
So we'll keep you posted.
For exhaust,
I really like the sound of a straight pipe 5.3
so I ended up straight piping it.
I did an axle dump with a five inch outlet.
Really like how it sounds.
It's a little loud in the morning
when it'd cold, especially in these Wisconsin winters.
Once you get up on the highway though,
and it starts to warm up,
it's got a nice little purr to it,
not too bad, not too obnoxious.
(truck engine revving)
I decided to lift the Tahoe
just because not many guys do it,
most guys lift their big, full sized trucks,
not many are lifting SUVs nowadays.
So I decided that I wanted to be a little bit different.
That's why I'm also going to hope to
put built motor, built trans in there so,
we got a little bit different truck going out there.
On top of the Tahoe I have
an eBay special tire rack.
I like the way it looks,
that was kinda what I was going for with it.
Other than that I have a 30 inch Black Label Lighting,
RGB light bar behind my grille.
Very bright, probably the brightest 30 inch
I've ever seen before.
Also have an Edge Evolution tuner in there.
I actually just ordered their new
CTS2 to swap in the backup camera accessory.
Very happy with my Edge products.
Notice substantial fuel mileage gains out of them.
Looking ahead to the future,
I'm thinking about possibly doing a cat eye conversion
with a 2005 Chevy Silverado front end.
Really dig the cat eye look.
My other plans are possibly to go bigger
if I decide to.
Planning to put a Horn Blaster kit in.
Full exhaust system, headers back,
I'd really like to put a built motor
and a built transmission in there.
Kind of match the power with the looks.
When it comes to support,
I mean I got my friends that support me with this build.
Family on the other hand
is a little bit not as supportive
just because they're looking out for my future
and they don't think that
putting money into a vehicle is worth it
because you'll never see that money ever again but,
again it's all what you wanna put into it
and what you want out of it
and this is what I want out of it
so that's how I'm gonna do it.
Well guys, thanks for hanging out today,
have a great day, peace!
