Soul Exists Scientific Proof Of Reincarnation.

A lot of people are resistant to the idea of a soul because of how this term has gotten

wrapped up in religious superstition and dogma.

Some people think it is outright silly.

But the concept of consciousness being able to detach from the body offers a lot of explanatory

power when it comes to phenomenon such as Near Death Experiences, Out-Of-Body Experiences,

astral projections, and even reincarnation.

In fact, the evidence for reincarnation is the best hard scientific evidence we have

for the existence of a soul.

This is a bold claim, but the evidence for reincarnation is undeniable and cannot collectively

be attributed to chance or any other physical explanation.

If reincarnation exists, the soul exists.

Let�s take a look!

Before we explore the evidence, it�s helpful to remember that we do not need hard PROOF

in order to be justified in believing in something.

If the weatherman says there is a 70% chance of showers, I don�t need proof that it�s

going to rain before I am justified in bringing an umbrella with me.

I don�t have to be certain that a meteor isn�t going to fall on my head before I

go outside.

I don�t need hard scientific proof of extra-terrestrial life in order to be justified in believing

that life exists on other planets, because there are so many good reasons that, when

taken together cumulatively, provide a plausible account for belief in life on other planets.

This is known as �abductive reasoning� and is the kind of reasoning we use most in

our every day lives.

Reincarnation is not something you can objectively measure in the same way you can measure a

chemical reaction, so it may even be in principle non-provable using the scientific method.

Science is the empirical measurement of the natural world, and the soul is something which

would exist beyond the natural world.

So the question is, �Are there enough solid pieces of evidence that, when taken together,

provide a compelling case for reincarnation?� I think the answer is a resounding yes.

The scientific evidence for reincarnation

Dr. Ian Stevenson, Ph.D., former Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia

School of Medicine, spent 40 years researching reincarnation stories within children.

This former chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology investigated over

3000 independent stories of children who claimed to have memories and know people from their

alleged past lives.

According to Stevenson, the number of cases that are worth considering is so high that

it exceeds the ability of him and his team to investigate them all.

Birth Marks

Facial recognition software confirmed that there was in fact a facial resemblance to

their alleged prior incarnation.

Some had birth marks on places where they allegedly suffered fatal wounds from in their

past life.

They were often dramatic and sometimes bizarre lesions, such as malformed digits or missing

limbs, misshapen heads, and odd markings.

As Dr. Stevenson writes in his paper �Birthmarks and Birth Defects Corresponding to Wounds

on Deceased Persons� in the peer-reviewed Journal of Scientific Exploration:

�About 35% of children who claim to remember previous lives have birthmarks and/or birth

defects that they (or adult informants) attribute to wounds on a person whose life the child

remembers.

The cases of 210 such children have been investigated.

The birthmarks were usually areas of hairless, puckered skin; some were areas of little or

no pigmentation (hypopigmented macules); others were areas of increased pigmentation (hyperpigmented

nevi).

The birth defects were nearly always of rare types.

In cases in which a deceased person was identified the details of whose life unmistakably matched

the child�s statements, a close correspondence was nearly always found between the birthmarks

and/or birth defects on the child and the wounds on the deceased person.

In 43 of 49 cases in which a medical document (usually a postmortem report) was obtained,

it confirmed the correspondence between wounds and birthmarks (or birth defects).�

Verifiable memories of past lives

The memories the children recalled were far too specific to be chalked up to chance.

In an article where 3 cases were looked at in great detail by Dr. Stevenson, he reported

that each of the 3 children made roughly 30-40 claims regarding memories that had of their

past lives, 82-92% of which were both verifiable and correct.

The particularities and specific details that were given by the children ranged from anything

from the names, personalities, and occupations of their former parents and siblings to the

precise layouts of the houses they lived in.

It was not uncommon for Stevenson to encounter a child who could go into a town he had never

been in before and give him the details of the village, former personal belongings, the

neighbourhood in which he lived in a past life, and the people who he use to associate

with.

As he concludes: �It was possible in each case to find a family that had lost a member

whose life corresponded to the subject�s statements.

The statements of the subject, taken as a group, were sufficiently specific so that

they could not have corresponded to the life of any other person.

We believe we have excluded normal transmission of the correct information to the subjects

and that they obtained the correct information they showed about the concerned deceased person

by some paranormal process.�

Phobias from past-life traumas

Something which interested Dr. Stevenson was the phobias that were developed from past-life

traumas.

As Dr. Jim Tucker writes:

�Another area that interested Ian was the behavior of these children.

He wrote a paper about phobias that many of the children showed, usually related to the

mode of death from the life they claimed to remember (Stevenson, 1990a).

He reported that 36% of the children in a series of 387 cases showed such fears.

They occurred when the children were very young, sometimes before they had made their

claims about the previous life.

For example, he described a girl in Sri Lanka who as a baby resisted baths so much that

three adults had to hold her down to give her one.

By the age of six months, she also showed a marked phobia of buses and then later described

the life of a girl in another village who had been walking along a narrow road between

flooded paddy fields when she stepped back to avoid a bus going by, fell into the flood

water, and drowned.� The original journal article these findings were published can

Recognition from the scientific community

What seems to be more than mere chance is that children were able to accurately identify

former acquaintances and relationships they had with people in their prior lives.

Most impressively was a Lebanese girl who was able to remember and identify 25 different

people from her past life and the interpersonal relationships she had with them.

His best findings were put together in a book called Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation.

For further reading, this book would really be your best bet.

The American Journal of Psychiatry reviewed these cases and said there were ��cases

recorded in such full detail as to persuade the open mind that reincarnation is a tenable

hypothesis to explain them��.

He had several other books and papers published and widely accepted in the mainstream community.

As a review in the Journal of the American Medical Association stated ��In regard

to reincarnation he has painstakingly and unemotionally collected a detailed series

of cases from India, cases in which the evidence is difficult to explain on any other grounds.��

The reviewer added: ��He has placed on record a large amount of data that cannot

be ignored��.

His one paper called ��The Explanatory Value of the Idea of Reincarnation�� had

thousands of requests for reprints by scientists all over the world.

His findings were also published in peer reviewed journals the Journal of Nervous and Mental

Disease, and the International Journal of Comparative Sociology.

During a presentation at Penn State University in 2005, Dr. Jim B. Tucker, a child psychiatrist

at the University of Virginia, described how a mother was leaning over the changing table

to change her son�s diaper.

Her young toddler unexpectedly said, �When I was your age, I used to change your diapers.�

Sam Taylor, of Vermont, was born 18 months following his grandfather�s death.

When he made this comment, he was only a few years old.

When he was four and a half years old, however, Taylor was able to pick out his grandfather

from a class picture of about 20 people and identify his grandfather�s first car from

a photograph.

glimpse into the nature of these cases.

It�s important to note that this case is American, so the parents are not influencing

or encouraging the boy to believe in reincarnation in the name of culture or religion:

Conclusion

This is just a small fraction of the amount of evidence that exists for reincarnation.

Upon coming to a conclusion about all his findings and his publications, we have to

ask ourselves �What is the best explanation that can accommodate all of this evidence?�

Why would there be so many cases of children who claim to have been other people, who know

the specific names and interpersonal relationships of the person they recall being, who have

similar behavior and personalities as the people they claimed to be, who have birthmarks

and abnormalities where they claimed to have suffered wounds in their past lives, and who

have specific phobias linked back to alleged past life traumas if reincarnation did not

exist?

When we consider that there is no naturalistic explanation that can account for all of data,

and when we consider the explanatory power of reincarnation, we are more than justified

in subscribing to reincarnation for scientific reasons.

The accounts are far too precise to be chalked up as chance, and all other explanations are

impoverished in trying to explain such a wide array of data.

Reincarnation can no longer be looked at as some woo-woo, pseudoscientific, religiously

dogmatic New Age fantasy, and neither can the soul.

We can infer the reality of the soul because it is the best explanation for all of the

given data.

There must be a non-physical part of us (consciousness itself, perhaps) that contains memories that

leaves our body and then enters into a new body.

This is a hypothesis which has gotten serious attention in the mainstream academic community,

and is still ripe with investigation to this day.

When we take all the evidence together and look at it without religious or scientific

bias getting in the way, it seems as though we are not only justified in believing in

reincarnation, but it also may be the best of all explanations

for the strongest cases.

Welcome, my beloved friend of peace and anchor of wonder and anchor of love.

Yes, there is great chaos upon your planet and it has come to the surface for recognition,

for elimination, for reworking, regridding, reformation.

It matters not what you call it, sweet one.

It is simply a matter of change of form and it is a necessary change of form, change of

energy, change of substance so that humanity goes forth in heart, as love, as One.

It sounds so simple and yet, of course, it is not.

And never is the aspect of free will, of self-determination, of choice ever interfered with from this side

or this realm.

Do we attempt and influence?

Yes, we do.

Do we guide and protect?

Of course we do.

But the ultimate wisdom, the ultimate love, the ultimate knowing in the recognition of

self-divinity is always ever present, omnipresent, and it will not be overridden.

The challenge, of course � and this has never changed throughout time and space as

you think of it � the challenge has always been the awakening of that omnipresent wisdom,

the omnipresence of love within each and every heart.

To us, it is strange and yes, sometimes sad that this love, this power, this life-force,

this love-force is not fully acknowledged, activated and allowed free reign.

Any witnesses� you observe this and at times you struggle with this in your community,

in the understanding and the lack of understanding of how people proceed.

It is confusing on the most elemental level when beings do not choose love.

To us, it is the choice beyond choice, it is the alignment beyond alignment, it is the

decision beyond decision because nothing else in any realm makes sense.

There are those upon your planet who wish to reclaim, reconstruct, recreate the old

third and that is what they are attempting to do.

But, sweet angel of love, you know and those who are the loveholders know that this simply

will not occur.

The old third no longer exists.

It is that simple.

So while there are efforts to reclaim what they view as a lost kingdom.

It is a time, in many ways, where you are stepping back and becoming more the observer

then the participant then the observer?

Yes, but that is alright.

There are billions upon billions upon billions of variables, adjustments, attunements to

and within our Divine Mother�s Plan.

But let us be clear � the broader Plan, and the broader Plan of the restoration of

love upon this planet of sweet Gaia, has never changed and it is not about to.

Now, is the Mother infinitely patient?

Yes.

And is our reference of time and space very different than yours?

Yes.

But let us suggest to you� no, let us just flat out tell you � the Mother�s Plan

is in unfoldment.

The restoration of peace on Earth is in unfoldment.

So while it may look messy and chaotic, the Mother has not backed away from her Plan and

neither have we.

It will be done, and it will be done timely.

And when I say �timely�, I do not mean the infamous �soon�.

What I mean, sweet angel, is within a very near framework

in your time and ours.

At least 6 killed, 8 wounded in attack on Quebec mosque - Duration: 0:45.

At least six people are dead and eight wounded after gunmen opened fire Sunday evening at

a mosque in Quebec City, Canada as evening prayers were ending.

According to the Quebec provincial police, two suspects are in custody.

There's no further information on the suspects, but they do not believe others were directly

involved in the attack.

Local media reported there were between 60 and 100 people inside the mosque at the time,

including children.

However the police said the victims range in age from 35 to "about 70."

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called it an act of terrorism against Muslims.

The Quebec Islamic Cultural Center is the same facility where last June a pig's head

was left on the doorstep.

Muslims are prohibited by religion to touch pigs.

Residents homeward bound on last day of Lunar New Year holiday - Duration: 1:55.

It's the last day of the nation's 4-day Seollal holiday... and those who have left the capital,

to spend long weekend with family, are homeward bound.

Our Lee Unshin is at the Seoul Tollgate by the Kyungbu Expressway with the crucial traffic

updates.

Unshin, how are things looking out there?

Hey Daniel, So yes, with today being the last day of the

holiday, many forecasted heavy traffic on the expressways... but you don't see too many

cars behind me right now.

I've talked to a few drivers on their way home and many seem to be in a good mood, enjoying

a smooth ride back home on this extra day tacked on to the ordinary Lunar New Year.

"I think I made the right choice driving back home today.

It's been an easy drive so far."

"We're on our way back to the capital area, and there are not that many cars on the road

right now.

But even if there were, we'd be in a good mood, because we really got to treasure the

holiday weekend with our family and relatives from out of town."

You heard them: they're happy to drive for hours as long as they can be together.

But yes, the roads don't look too bad today, and the officials at Korea Express Corporation

told me that it's because many chose to travel home yesterday, on Sunday, to avoid the congestion.

The total number of cars out on the roads today across the nation, is estimated to be

anywhere between 300-thousand and 350-thousand, with many more headed north than south...

on their way back to Seoul and the central Gyeonggi-do province area.

But what the numbers actually mean, is that although there were some slowdowns earlier

on the highways including the Kyungbu Expressway, where I am right now,... overall, today's

traffic flow is not too different from any other weekend.

So those who have decided to spend as much time as possible with family...

and come back at the last minute -- they should be able to enjoy a relatively easy drive home.

Berti you're a bit of a jack of all trades of the Freeride World Tour, you do a bit of

everything.

But concerning choosing a face for the competition, what exactly is your role.

I'll go up there with the guides.

They'll work on snow safety, take a decision about security and snow safety and I will

be there to decide whether we can judge an event, whether there's enough line options

for the riders.

We need to bring 51 riders down the face, so there needs to be not just one couloir,

but many options.

So that's what I'll be looking on my side.

Ok and you've been spending a lot of time with the guides over the last couple of days,

can you please give us an update as to what's been happening here in the valley around Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.

Well we usually have plan A, B and C in terms of different altitudes, different orientations

in the valley, but here I think we have looked at plan A until plan Z.

We've explored everything, and in terms of snow safety and number of options we can

offer to the riders we haven't found what we need for a World Tour event.

So Berti it's a bit strange, because there's lots of snow in the village, there's tons

of people skiing on the pistes, but we just haven't been able to find that perfect competition face.

Absolutely, and we have the 50 best riders in the world here at the start and we want

them to be able to go 100 %. We don't want them just to take a small slow route down

the face, because that's the only safe way.

We are here to produce a show and we don't have the optimal conditions right now

to produce that show.

left - working that inner thigh.

I like to work the lower body, the largest muscle group in the body - helps us burn lots

of fat.

Look, we're going to work from that lower-body to REALLY burn fat, this is a fat loss workout

- lots of cardio, lots of lower-body, lots of challenge for our body.

Let's dig into those quads.

We're coming in and out for 4.

That's 1, 2, 3, 4, up! 8 sprints!

Drive those knees up, now get low into that squat.

Abs are locked in there.

I'm feeling that 2nd wind, right?

We're in it now, people.

Drive those knees up!

This is where the magic happens.

Lock in your abs here and try to control your heart-rate.

Run forward - this time the right hand is tapping... and we're back.

We're going up in a ladder.

So, we're doing Eagle Squats to a Tuck Jump, down into a clapping burpee, Eagle Squat,

2 Tuck Jumps, 2 Claps - that's how we're going to roll... and go up as high as we can.

Push your butt back, chest is up - final move, then we get our Fist Bump.

Mixed Media Book Cover, How to Make a Simple Booklet - Duration: 5:40.

Hi everyone!

This is Smitha from the blog Smiling Colors and thanks for stopping by today.

Today I am getting crafty and I actually sharing two techniques with you- How to make your

own simple booklet and give it a Mixed Media cover.

So let's get started!

I have trimmed a few sheets of cardstock to measure 6 by 12 inches in size I am folding

these in half with a bone folder to create a nice crease.

The cardstock I chose today comes from this paper stack by DCWV.

Its a really creamy and soft cardstock.

It's the month of February after all, so to make my book Valentine themed I have cut

die a bunch of heart shapes from a rainbow of cardstocks.

The cardstock I used here comes from this jewel tone pack- I love all the different

shades of color they have here.

I will leave links to all the supplies used in todays video in the description box below

so you can find them easily.

Our booklet here approximately measures 6 by 6 inches, I am calling it a booklet because

there are so few pages in it but basically I am still using it like a book.

I am going to bind this book together with a simple stitch in the center.

For that I am marking out a small dot an inch in from the top and bottom on each page.

This will be where I insert my needle.

Today I am using some colorful twine and I have threaded it into this needle here.

You want to insert the needle into the spine and pull it out from the centre page of the

book Insert the needle into the other side and pull through leaving a good 4 inch at

the end to help tie off at the end.

Repeat this once more and then just the the two ends together tightly and neatly.

Double knot it to make sure it won't unravel and I actually go back and squirt a little

glue onto the knot one the book is done.

Trim the excess twine off and the spine is ready.

To make all the pages line up evenly, I am using a guillotine trimmer today.

Ok here is how the book looks with the edge neatly trimmed.

I did up cutting a small bit that the trimmer get but it looks good now.

Now time to use those hearts!

I am using Tombow's Mono adhesive + permanent here.

It's so easy to use and the hearts are adhered immediately.

So my idea here is to have a rainbow of hearts on the inside pages.

During the rest of February, I am going to be hand lettering some love and marriage quotes

onto the hearts, maybe add some doodling around each page too.

And I will share how they turned out on my instagram page @theshinynest.

This book would make an awesome little scrapbook to jot down your love story, your engagement

history or just how you met and got married.

You can add photos onto the hearts and tell a story to go along with it.

Now the inside pages of the book are ready, so I am going to go ahead and show you how

to create a mixed media cover.

I am staring by adding a rainbow with my favorite Tombow Dual Brush pens onto this triangle

stencil.

I don't want to cover the entire page here, just a small area.

I really should have opened my pen caps before filming, or I should have taped my stencil

down - but I made it work, don't worry.

Now I want rainbow colors to bleed and mix a little so I am just going over the triangles

with a clean dry paper towel here and gently mixing the colors into each other.

Remember the cardstock I used was silky and soft and so the colors just sit on the paper

and take a little time to absorb thus giving me a little time to move them around the way

I like.

Now a mixed media art piece basically means you can add in different media other than

paper- like lace, and this rubber embellishment, some stitching.

You could add burlap, cork, metal anything goes really.

I going to add a shipping tag cut down to fit, a strip of patterned paper, maybe a paper

doily.

Just reach for items that you love and add bits and pieces of it onto the cover to add

extra dimension and textures.

Here I have an old library card.

I love collecting such stuff and usually have a bin in my craft tool where keep gathering

stuff I want to use on a mixed media project.

I am going to add some twine to the shipping tag next and I think that looks about right.

I haven't glued any layer down yet- but at this point I think I ready to commit to this

design.

To glue down paper onto paper I am using the same Mono adhesive + permanent that I used

before.

To glue down everything else I am reaching for the Tombow Mono multi adhesive XL.

This glue is perfect to use in a mixed media project, I use the fine tip to glue down smaller

pieces and for larger areas I use the wider tip to apply a more generous amount of glue.

I love using to glue down lace, textured papers, small jewels etc.

Now I want to give my book a title of sorts.

And so I am using a bunch of stickers to say " Listen to your heart, trust your heart

and follow your heart.

I love how these words go together.

Finally I going to open the cover and trim off all of the excess hanging off the edges

with a large pair of scissors.

And that's it!

My little valentine book is ready.

It has a pretty mixed media cover that I totally me and I love the colorful hearts inside.
