Waching daily Jan 31 2017

Crimes that target children are worrying parents.

He lured the girl and entered the empty house.

He told the children that he is their mothers' friend.

Children are easily deceived if the stranger claims

that they are their parents' friend.

(The twins are in the house by themselves.)

A stranger visits the twins.

Don't open the door.

Seoeon, don't open the door.

(The twins face a dangerous situation.)

Go away.

(How will they overcome the crisis?)

(The twins are reading with their dad.)

Come on.

(However)

The staff members leave the house one by one.

(Only the trio are left in the house.)

I forgot to bring something from the car.

- What is it? / - I'll run to the parking lot quickly.

Okay? Wait for a second.

Don't fight.

- Will you go alone? / - Yes.

(I will read a book.)

Hwijae hurriedly leaves the house.

(He opens the door of an unfamiliar van.)

What is he doing?

Hello.

(What is this van?)

Children shouldn't be left alone in the house,

but we never know when accidents will occur.

That's why I continue to educate the twins.

What should you do if someone rings the doorbell

when Mom and Dad aren't home?

- We shouldn't open the door. / - That's right.

We shouldn't open the door even if it's a friend.

Don't open the door to anyone.

Children remember the lesson better

when they've learned it through experience

than through words.

I will watch them with an expert

to learn which area they need to be better informed in.

(What will the twins do?)

(A staff member is hiding in the house for safety.)

(Who is it?)

Who is it?

(It's a woman they haven't seen.)

We have a visitor.

Would you open the door?

(She wants us to open the door.)

(A stranger is asking to open the door.)

(What will they do?)

(What should we do?)

(Surprised)

(The expert and Hwijae watch the situation.)

(Seoeon runs to the door.)

(What will he do?)

What?

(He can't believe his eyes.)

(Will he open the door?)

(It's open.)

(He opened the door without caution.)

Hello.

You are Seoeon.

(He opened the door to a stranger.)

Seojun is home, too.

- Is Seojun home, too? / - Yes.

You are so cute.

(The stranger entered the house easily.)

- They aren't wary at all. / - No.

We should remember that children can't tell

whether people are dangerous or not.

If a person looks nice and carries a toy they like,

children think they can trust him or her.

That's the limit of children's judgment.

I see.

Have you seen me before?

- No, I haven't. / - You haven't?

Then why did you open the door?

- I don't know. / - You don't know.

Isn't your mom home?

- She went on a vacation. / - A vacation?

Are both of your parents not home, then?

- Dad said he will come back soon. / - I see.

Do you want to go outside with me?

I have a big toy in my car.

However, I can't carry it alone because it's heavy.

I am very strong.

(He falls for it right away.)

The children will follow her now.

This is a very dangerous situation.

Shall we go to a kids' cafe? Your dad is waiting there.

Dad said he will go to a parking lot.

He went to a kids' cafe from the parking lot

so that the three of us can play.

They won't follow her.

Or we can go and buy a new toy.

Shall we go to the supermarket?

Your dad will be there, too.

He said he will wait there.

(Pondering)

- Do you want to go? / - Yes.

Let's go, Seoeon and Seojun.

My goodness, what is happening?

Do you want to take it?

(The twins follow the stranger.)

- You should go and ask. / - Okay.

You might want to criticize and berate the children.

However, you should also calm your emotions

and ask them why they opened the door.

Although that woman is pretty and has toys,

she could be a bad and dangerous person.

Remind them of that fact.

You should tell them not to go.

(Hwijae goes to put an end to the situation.)

Seojun and Seoeon, give me your hands.

This is great.

(This happened in under five minutes.)

What is going on?

(He acts for educational purposes.)

We are going to a supermarket.

Who is she, Seojun?

I don't know.

- Seoeon, who is she? / - I don't know.

She is a stranger.

Come inside, Seoeon.

Come inside.

But...

Seoeon, hurry up.

Where is she? The woman who was here earlier.

That could have been bad.

Take off your shoes and come inside.

I was very surprised.

Sit down.

Should you open the door when a stranger visits?

- No. / - It can be very dangerous.

Even if it's someone you know,

don't open the door when you are home alone.

It can be very dangerous. Who opened the door?

- He did. / - Seoeon did?

Seoeon did? Why did you open the door?

She was pretty.

Even if she is pretty, don't open the door.

When Mom and Dad aren't home,

don't open the door even if Seunghun's mom comes.

Seunghun's mom likes us.

Don't open the door even if Seunghun comes.

Okay?

Seunghun likes to

pull a prank just like us.

Still, no one comes in when you are alone.

It's not just Seoeon and Seojun. Most children

don't even say "Hello" when the doorbell rings.

About 70 to 80 percent of them open the door.

Parents need to teach them that

even a parent's friend can be a dangerous person.

Parents need to drill this into them repeatedly.

- Don't open the door to strangers. / - Okay.

I'm going to the parking lot for a second.

(Hwijae heads to the van again.)

(They quietly watch TV.)

(Who is it?)

(It's a man they haven't seen before.)

Don't open the door.

(He holds Seoeon.)

(Dad told us not to open the door.)

Hello, is this Seoeon and Seojun's house?

You dad asked me

to play with you. Would you open the door?

(Hwijae's mouth is dry.)

Are Seoeon and Seojun not home?

Seoeon, don't open the door.

(Don't open the door!)

- "Don't open the door." / - Seojun said that.

(What should I do?)

Seoeon, don't open the door.

(Seoeon listens to Seojun and comes back.)

(They averted the crisis.)

(The man rings the doorbell again.)

Go away.

(He is in a state of defense.)

Pretending that no one is home is the wisest move.

They feel like they have to answer

because he keeps ringing the doorbell.

(I will check if he left.)

(The doorbell rings again.)

Who is it?

I'm your dad's close friend. Would you open the door?

- Are you Dad's friend? / - Yes, I am.

I'm your dad's friend. Please open the door.

(I have never seen him before. Is he Dad's friend?)

(He continues to lure the twins.)

Really?

- May I come in for a second? / - Okay.

He is Dad's friend.

My goodness. He was doing so well.

He is Dad's friend.

He is Dad's friend.

- Hello. / - Hello.

(He opens the door.)

Hello.

(This is why repeating the lesson is important.)

- Are you Dad's friend? / - Yes, I am.

- Our dad? / - Yes.

Do I seem like a good man or a bad man?

- A good man. / - A good man?

- What do you think, Seojun? / - A good man.

A good man?

Why do you think that?

- You are Dad's friend. / - I see.

You think I'm a good man because I'm Dad's friend.

Do you want to go outside and play?

- Dad said he will be back. / - We must call first.

We should call your dad? I will give him a call.

(He pretends to call.)

Hello. Yes.

Okay.

- He asked us to come out. Shall we go? / - Yes.

I will go with you.

Where is he?

He is waiting in the parking lot.

Shall we go?

Let's go.

(I should repeat the lesson.)

This way.

- Where are your shoes? / - I want to put these on.

Really? I will put them on for you.

- Let's put your shoes on. / - Okay.

(Let's go.)

(Hwijae is waiting in front of the door.)

(He hasn't seen Hwijae yet.)

Let's put your shoes on.

(Laughing)

Dad.

(It's Dad.)

- Who is he? / - Your friend.

I told you not to open the door to anyone.

(The man who pretended to be Hwijae's friend leaves.)

He said he's your friend.

- Did he say he's my friend? / - Yes.

Come inside. Seoeon, too.

- I was going to go with him. / - With who?

I told you not to open to door even for Seunghun.

- Seojun, did you ask him who he is? / - I asked.

He said he is your friend.

Not my friends or Mom's friends are allowed.

Not even Grandma's friends are allowed.

Why not?

You don't open the door because they could be bad.

You opened the door to a stranger.

Don't let him know that you are home.

He could have been a bad person.

At first, Seoeon said,

"Go away."

I said, "Don't come."

Seoeon said that.

Really? Don't do that.

Be quiet. Act like no one is home.

Watch me. Let's say someone rang the doorbell.

(He gives a demonstration.)

It's someone you don't know.

Even if it's someone you know...

(Don't open the door.)

- Okay? / - Okay.

Act like no one is home.

(Stay quiet.)

(When they are home alone, they will stay quiet.)

Seojun, you too.

We aren't home.

Okay?

Your mom and I won't leave you alone in the house.

However, don't ever open the door or follow a stranger.

- Okay. / - Okay.

- Promise me, okay? / - Okay.

Teach your children not to open the door

to anyone but Mom, Dad, Grandma and such.

Make sure children don't respond to a stranger.

If possible, they should contact the parents.

Teach them to call 112 when in danger.

Have parcels delivered to the security office.

Tell the children not to open the door

since parcels won't come up to the house.

When children are entering the house alone,

teach them to say hello as if someone is home.

It's important not to leave children alone.

Parent's interest and repeated lessons

on children's safety are much needed.

Meanwhile, Soeul and Daeul are off

4 Reasons Why Humans Create Myths and Religion - Duration: 10:22.

Myths and religions form a fundamental part of many people's existence; they have done

for millennia, and probably will do for some time yet.

But despite being such a crucial part of human life, we simply have no idea when most religions

and myths were created, as many were established in prehistory long before writing was developed.

Nevertheless, what we are beginning to understand is why humans create such concepts, so let's

explore some of the most interesting explanations in our list of four reasons why humans create

myths and religion.

Number 4: Fear Good old fear; is there anything she can't accomplish?

From provoking wars and murder to helping us keep away from the big hairy thing with

giant teeth and claws; the act of being scared makes humans do some pretty crazy things.

We lose oursense of purpose, we lose our direction, and logic and reason often goes entirely out

the window, so could fear have led us to the creation of myths and religion, as a way to

discover the meaning of life and death?

It seems so.

Fear is a common response to the things we don't know or recognise, but after a while

this feeling dissipates and is replaced by a desire to understand more and soil ourselves

less.

So in a brutal world where everything seems like it's trying to kill you, humans created

gods in the sky in an attempt to make sense of it all.

Hey did you see Ugmar got torn apart by sloths last night?

Yeah it was real slow and brutal, pretty scary right?

No, not really, that's what you get when you anger the tree gods by not washing your feet

in chicken milk.

Do chickens even make milk?

I dunno, but you get the point.

And the same goes for myths and legends too.

Imagine being attacked every week by a race of bloodthirsty strangers whose language you

can't decipher.

You'd need to figure out some way of dealing with this horror on a day to day basis, so

we invent stories about these villains, and the heroic figures that defeated them.

But as we began to figure out who these strangers were, as we started to understand the mechanics

of our existence, why did we continue to propagate these moralistic and idealistic tales?

Number 3: Control The greatest use of fear is to control.

Say you're the leader of an ancient tribe or civilisation.

Do your people hate it when you raise taxes?

Just tell them it's God's will.

Is everyone rebelling because you sent half the city to their deaths in a pointless

war?

Huh, I bet Mighty Thor wouldn't have pussed out and cried like a little baby.

What's that, you want to have sex on a Sunday?

Well I don't think Chinnamasta the Hindu goddess of restraint would approve, do you?

When a leader fears a rebellious populace what better than a giant sky wizard or an

idealistic cultural icon to keep them in check?

This method of control helps rulers feel safe, and it also gives a sense of security to the

population too, through the promotion of unity.

Shared religions and myths help us form bonds with strangers, people we may otherwise be

afraid of.

Hey stranger, I don't know you so I'm gonna bash your face into a fine pulp.

Oh wait a minute, is that a laughing baby holding a piece of cheese on that necklace

you're wearing?

What a coincidence, I'm an Infant Cheesarian too.

Ha, we don't have to be scared of each other anymore.

Let's be friends, and together we shall destroy those vinegar-loving heathens of the Balsamic

State.

Number 2: Knowledge We've already established that fear often comes from lack of knowledge

- when we humans don't understand something, we fill the void with stories to explain why

murder happens, why floods or droughts occur, and when crops are most likely to flourish

or fail.

But myths and religion can be sources of knowledge too, functioning as a way of passing down

traditions and ideas to the next generation.

If your fantastical tale of a wheat-destroying monster tells you to throw a bunch of horse

poop on the crops to keep him away, this story still serves a vital purpose, even if you

do a attributed the whole thing to a magical goblin called Steve.

And as well as practical knowledge, myths and religion also serve as a way of recording

history and culture.

There are plenty of verifiable events from religious texts which we know to have occurred,

and while this doesn't mean the way they were retold is 100% accurate, they nevertheless

help to give us a sense of what crazy antics might have gone down.

Religious stories and myths help us find out about battles that were fought millennia ago,

festivals that took place before history was recorded, and mysterious humans who existed

in the early days of man.

It is widely believed that religious figures such as Jesus and Buddha were almost certainly

based on real, historical people, and the same might be true of mythical heroes such

as King Arthur and the Greek monster-slayer Perseus.

These people must have done something pretty snazzy to attract so much attention, but whatever

it was, it's almost certainly been twisted and bastardised in the centuries since.

Although, you gotta hope that not every myth and legend has roots in reality, because the

story of the Egyptian god Osiris involves his wang being eaten by a fish, the Greek

tale of Leda sees a woman banging a swan, and the Hindu God Ganesha

was supposedly created from all the dirt scraped off a woman's body.

Actually, I hope that last one is true, because the next time my lady takes a bath I could

get a free elephant lord.

But these last few examples also illustrate the reason why such tales are frequently dramatic,

powerful and downright weird - it's because they were made to be entertaining.

If you're a believer then it feels fun and exhilarating to worship the almighty - it's

a neat way to pass the time.

It's also fun to live vicariously through the deeds of a warrior goddess or a mythical

demon slayer, and it's these crazier aspects which help to pass on the important stuff.

It's like putting gravy onvegetables, or mixing cola with vodka - it makes everything easier

to swallow.

Because let's face it, nobody's gonna remember a story about some jerk hippy kid if all he

ever does is walk around looking handsome in a robe while boasting about his big shot

daddy.

But make that guy walk on water, hold a kickass fish and wine party for his pals and rise

from the dead, and then you've got a story.

Number 1: We Love Bull There is nothing quite like a little white lie, or, for that matter,

a big throbbing black one.

Every day people pretend to know what they're doing flying planes, opening humans and writing

Youtube channels based on nothing more than a cursory Google search and a buttload of

coffee; and every one of these people will, at one point or another, have been scared

of being uncovered as a fraud.

What if I don't know what I'm doing?

What if I'm really bad at this and I've just got lucky the whole time.

What if someone finds out I'm not a brilliant scientist and I'm just a bunch of mice taped

together in a lab coat?

But how does this paranoia relate to myths and religion?

Well, in a world before science, when we all wondered what the heck was going on, people

looked for someone convincing to tell them how the world was.

Why does the sky cry tears?

What is this delicious red stuff pouring out of my stomach?

Why do dogs keep following us around and demanding we throw sticks?

In ancient times nobody had a clue, and so, in lieu of certainty we looked to those who

sounded the most convincing.

We gravitate towards someone who sounds like they know what they're talking about, even

if they don't.

A con artist, a bullshi**er, a propagandist; whatever you want to call them.

These people were the founders of our modern myths and religions.

Everything from Christianity and Islam to the legends of the Norse gods or the knights

of the round table must have started off when one person, one single, creative human being

was pressed for an explanation for existence, why the sky was green or why birds go cheep

cheep, and when that person was asked for an answer...they just winged it.

They plucked something out of their ass...hopefully not literally.

And then another person thought hey, that sounds about right, added a few details of

their own, and so on and so forth until bam, we've got fully-fledged religions and myths

coming out of our buttholes, no plucking required.

So yes, many aspects of our religious and mythical tales were indeed based on real events,

but plenty was invented on the spot by some old-timey improv genius, with the most convincing

or entertaining stories enduring to this day.

And in the age of fake news and alternative facts, despite all our progression, nothing's

really changed.

And that's our list.

If you enjoyed it you might also get a schlub on for our video on the seven weirdest beliefs

in history, because apparently gay people causehurricanes.

Yeah, who knew?

La Fan | Episode 10 | Telemundo English - Duration: 13:15.

THE FAN

-Really? Him? -Yes.

I need some air.

I'm about to...

I need some air.

Water! Bring some water!

Yes, this is an emergency.

She tried to kill herself.

She took a bottle of pills.

No, I didn't check her pulse, but...

I don't know if she's alive.

Please come quickly. I'm nervous.

Hurry, please.

Yes.

Why were you going through my phone?

Since when do you do that?

Sweetie, don't be ridiculous.

I saw your face and I got scared.

-I thought it was serious. -Well, it is.

But I'll take care of it, as usual.

I always do.

Are you sure?

I've fixed many of your mistakes,

even if you didn't notice.

Good night, darling.

Benicio.

I figured you'd call.

Stop playing the photographer and tell me,

who is that idiot that's with my daughter?

His name is Diego Castro.

He's 5 feet 8,

165 pounds.

75 KILOGRAMOS,

He has a small scar beneath the ear,

light eyes, blond hair.

He recently started working in the company,

and he's climbing fast, as you can see.

No one can know about this, okay?

Sure thing.

We'll figure this out together.

This is a scoop.

I came here for an article, and I leave with a bomb.

But wait,

tell me all the details. -The truth is...

I wish I knew the details.

I can't believe it.

Right, right.

You must be on cloud nine, right?

If I were in your shoes...

Oh, it's so exciting.

You must've dreamed about this your entire life.

"The love story between the fan and her idol

ends in marriage."

Just like in Lucas Duarte's soap operas, right?

My soap operas have always been successful.

But you haven't dated for long.

We haven't.

Is there an heir on the way?

-No, no! -No.

Okay, so this rush to get married

is just because you're in love, right?

That's right.

Well, yes, it's very rushed,

because we've only been a couple for, like, one day.

No way.

It seems like yesterday when I was a pizza girl.

Did I meet him yesterday? Or didn't I?

It seems like yesterday.

This is the biggest story of my career.

It's an international scoop.

Change your clothes.

We'll take more pictures.

Come on, girl.

I didn't know you were getting married.

Me neither, girl.

Excuse me.

You can't die, Salma.

You can't die, because I love you.

I truly love you, Salma.

I've loved you since I saw you in that soap opera

in which you played the maid and I was the butler, remember?

Don't die on me.

Hang in there, please, Salma.

-This is too much. -Excuse me.

Save her, please.

Tell me she's alive.

Her pulse is fine, she's got good color.

Take her to the hospital or something. She can't die.

Are you crazy? What did you make me say?

I didn't make you say anything.

You did all the talking.

That's not true. You said "five."

Yes, I said, "In five months, the soap opera will be over."

You weren't very clear.

I understood "five days."

That's because you don't think.

You can't think without a script.

What am I going to do?

She's getting all the attention.

I'm a star, I've been an actor for ages,

and now I'm being treated as an extra.

It's not fair.

They only take photos of her.

Only photos of her!

They treat her like a Hollywood star,

when the only big thing she's done in her life

is being my fan.

Well, you're the best-paid extra in the world.

Okay?

That doesn't cheer me up.

That doesn't help at all.

Extra...

What's the prize for the winner?

I'm going to win,

so I'd like to know what my motivation is.

We're going to play strip-bowling.

How's that?

You lose, you remove a piece of clothing.

I'm just kidding.

I'll tell you what.

One day I did a striptease in a bachelorette party.

How's that?

Really?

They all yelled, "Take your shirt off!"

Oh, please, Castro.

What about you? What do you do?

When?

When you go to a bachelorette party.

Well, the usual.

We go to my place, we drink tea,

we enjoy a home spa session.

A what?

A home spa session.

Oh, geez, that's so boring.

You're saying goodbye

to all the things you can't do anymore.

You say goodbye.

A home spa session?

What is that?

That's enough.

And I didn't say it like that.

Don't distract me. I'm going to win anyway.

Hey, that's cheating, Castro.

That's not fair.

-What? -That's right, cheater.

All right, I'm a bit of a cheater.

But not always.

-Go on. -If I lose, it'll be your fault.

Yeah, right.

What happened to you?

Sorry, Castro. Are you okay?

I'm so, so sorry.

How's that?

It's all set.

Carlos Lopez will be here in three hours.

I'm so nervous.

We must do something about Miguel.

He can't find out.

Relax, I'm on it.

Thank you.

Tommy, do you want us to go get some pizza with Miguel?

Great idea!

Sorry, guys.

I have a lot to do here.

Persuade him to come with us.

How?

With that face you do

when you ask Vale for something.

Okay.

- OK.

Miguel...

What is it, Tommy?

Come eat pizza with us.

Please, please.

Okay, fine.

Only this time.

I have a lot to do.

Yes!

Success! I always succeed.

You know what?

My right profile is better.

-It's my winning angle. -Okay.

More light!

Make up!

Sorry.

You can take any of my profiles,

with or without light. I don't care.

What matters here is Lucas.

He's the star.

Thanks for the clarification.

These pictures are awesome,

but I'd like something more intimate.

Oh, yes! Wow!

More intimate? Like what?

Like in the bedroom, in your underwear,

in your nightwear.

What?

That'd make people think that I'm sleeping with this man.

How are you feeling?

Very weak.

It's okay, relax.

The doctor is on his way to pump your stomach.

What? No!

What did you do, Salma?

Call the doctor.

Are you feeling sick?

No, I'm not.

Geez, Agustin. I didn't actually try to kill myself.

What was all that, then?

I was acting.

And I was great, by the way.

Come here.

Make sure the doctor makes no comments.

You'll make the statement.

You'll tell the press

that I'm fighting for my life.

Lucas needs to find out by any means necessary.

I tried to contact him, but he won't pick up.

Then call Gabriel.

They are together at Pink Lips night.

Lucas has to find out that I'm dying.

But you're not.

Of course not.

But only you and I know that.

Give me a pen and some paper,

and call the soap's screenwriter.

This isn't the right time

for another episode ending, Salma.

Do as I say, Agustin.

Quickly.

Get a move on, Agustin!

I won!

How's that?

Did you see me knock all of them down just now?

And you with your gear, gloves, shoes, medals.

So, what's my prize?

Tone it down, Castro.

It's no big deal.

Look at that.

Ninety-seven to what?

Ninety.

I won, miss.

Tell me what my prize is.

You're awfully quiet.

You're the winner, so you choose.

I can't think of anything right now.

I'm getting hungry.

Great.

I'll take you to my favorite restaurant.

Do you need help putting away your gloves and balls

so we can go?

Oh, yeah.

No way.

That journalist thinks that you and I...

That we are...

Look, it's only logical.

We're getting married.

We're getting married in five days?

No.

But that's what you said a moment ago.

It was a mistake.

But it's okay.

Look, if the press thinks we're sharing the bedroom,

that's okay.

No, it's not!

I care about that a lot.

I have a son, a reputation.

The entire neighborhood reads that magazine.

They will judge me, sir, you understand?

Drop the "sir" already.

Sorry, I can't think when I'm nervous.

Is that right?

Do I make you nervous?

Very nervous!

No pictures in the bedroom!

No!

¡NO!

Lucas, Agustin has been trying to contact you.

Tell him I'll call him later.

It's important. It's about Salma.

She tried to kill herself.

Oh, right, the soap opera.

I missed it.

But of course,

Ana Cristina couldn't face reality.

Not in the soap opera. In real life, Vale.

She tried to kill herself for real.

She's in the hospital.

I can't believe it. For real?

Lucas, let's go see her.

Come on, let's go.

Put these on.

It's nighttime.

It's full of journalists here.

I want them to see you in pain, okay?

Go on.

Let's go see Salma.

Gentlemen, please, not right now.

Respect other people's pain.

-Lucas, how did it happen? -Do you feel responsible?

Did she try to kill herself by taking pills?

We just got here. Show some respect.

Show some respect, please!

We'll talk to you later.

I'm glad you're here, Lucas.

Salma only talks about you.

-How is she? -She wants to see you.

I have to see her.

Alone.

Of course.

Where's her room?

To your left.

Okay.

The other left, Lucas.

I'll go get some coffee. Everything will be all right.

Poor woman.

She's so young and beautiful.

She has a son.

How could she try to kill herself?

I have...

I have something for you.

Salma left this letter before she...

Before she made that dramatic decision.

-Excuse me. -Sure.

Murder of Jewish men in Olshana - Duration: 1:13.

My father was executed along with the Ukrainian.

They were executed... You don't need the newspaper, right?

They executed 4 Jews and 3 Ukrainians

and buried them in the same grave.

When we came back, we found out...

There was a special committee that investigated the Nazi crimes.

People told us about it.

The regional party committee secretary was my father's friend.

Once they worked together as teachers.

We were told that some of the policemen were convicted,

those who were caught, who didn't escape,

and they showed where was the grave of those 7 people.

Their bodies were dug out and then reburied,

the Jews were in one coffin, and the Russians in another,

but they were in the same grave.
