ASOIAF: Black Stone - Duration: 5:02.

Across the many lands of the known world, black stone has been used in the construction

of various structures, some remarkable for their intricate features and craftsmanship,

others of a more simple design representing a fascinating mystery as to their origins.

For thousands of years, the dragonlords of the Valyrian Freehold ruled a large ever expanding

territory in Essos, using their magics to create a substance they named dragonstone.

Fused black stone harder than steel or diamond, used in a number of construction projects

including the Dragon Roads, the walls of Volantis, the inner walls of Tyrosh, and even an abandoned

fortress on the island of Naath.

The Valyrians were known to twist and shape dragonstone into beautiful and ornately designed

structures.

In sharp contrast to the foundation of the Hightower in southern westeros, another ancient

construction of fused black stone, but smooth and plain all around with no markings of any

kind.

Although many continue to believe the foundation is of Valyrian origin, the simplicity of its

design suggests otherwise, there is also no known evidence suggesting the dragonlords

ever travelled this far West.

In addition, others have pointed out the complexity of the structure on the inside suggests a

connection to the Mazemakers of Lorath, an ancient people who built similar constructions.

Although they were not known to use black stone.

Similarly, in the far eastern lands of Yi Ti are five enormous forts built into the

mountains, each housing 10 thousand men and constructed from single fused blackstone.

And while it is reminiscent of dragonstone, it is believed that the Five Forts existed

long before the rise of the Valyrian Freehold and once again there is no evidence to suggest

the dragonlords ever travelled so far east.

The people of Yi Ti claim the fortresses were built by the Pearl Emperor long ago to protect

the Empire from the demon armies of the Lion of Night.

Another connection to the Empire of Yi Ti, comes from the story of the Bloodstone Emperor,

a man who practiced torture, necromancy and cannibalism, betraying the gods of his people

to worship a black stone that fell from the sky, founding the Church of Starry Wisdom.

Other black stone structures such as the ruins of a mighty wall at Moat Cailin, as well as

the walls of Blackhaven and Kayakayanaya were formed from black basalt, a dry black stone

that appears to shine when wet.

However there is another type of black stone, described as oily or greasy, used in the construction

of a number of structures across the known world, whose origins have created a mystery,

with many believing that despite their distance from one another, they may be connected in

some way.

In the west, there is the kraken shaped seastone chair of the Iron Islands said to have already

been present when the First Men arrived in the area.

Maester Kirth, author of Songs of the Drowned Men, suggested the Seastone chair was built

by a mysterious ancient race which sailed across the Sunset Sea , while Maester Theron

author of Strange Stone, suggested a connection between the ancient foundation of the Hightower

and the Seastone chair, claiming they may have been built by the Deep Ones, a queer

misshapen people descended from sea creatures mating with human women.

These beings may have inspired the idea of Merlings, and may be connected to various

other legends such as the mysterious sea creatures which destroyed the Lorathi Mazemakers, and

the fish headed gods worshipped by the inhabitants of the Thousand Islands.

In the South, there is a 40 foot tall black stone toad statue, believed to have a connection

to the ancestors of the islands native inhabitants, who many claim have webbed appendages and

are reminiscent fish.

In Sothoryos, the ruins of Yeen are said to be made out of blocks of oily black Stone,

so large it would take a dozen elephants to move them.

Many believe Yeen to be cursed, as every attempt to settle the area has ended in disaster.

Yet more disturbing still, is that the city has remained in ruins for thousands of years

yet was never reclaimed by the jungle, with Nymeria of the Rhoynar once remarking it was

"a city so evil that even the jungle will not enter."

Far to the east, along the coast of the Jade Sea, the ancient city of Asshai was also created

with mysterious black stone described as greasy, some claiming the buildings absorb light,

making the area dark and foreboding.

Although many of these structures appear to be made from the same oily black stone material,

the origins of this substance are unknown as is any connection between the constructions

and the people who built them.

Other possible locations of black stone, include Ax Isle near Sothoryos, where a Qartheen pirate

built a black stone fortress from materials on the island.

Video Shows Delta Airlines Pilot Hitting Female Passenger in Atlanta Airport - Duration: 1:36.

Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

It seems like U.S. airlines cannot catch a break these days.

From Dr. David Dao's viral removal on United to a Delta passenger being kicked off a flight

for using the bathroom, the tensions at airports seem to be getting higher and higher.

Delta airlines is in some heat again as video of a pilot hitting a female passenger surfaced

online.

On Saturday TMZ posted a shocking video that shows a Delta pilot striking a woman at the

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

It starts off with two women in a fight and ends with the pilot's less than peaceful attempt

at breaking it up.

The video was reportedly filmed on April 21 and

was immediately investigated by Delta officials.

The pilot was temporarily suspended but the airline concluded that he was not in the wrong

and only trying to deescalate an altercation.

"We became aware of this incident and a video last week and immediately removed the

pilot from duty while we completed a thorough investigation.

Local law enforcement was called to respond at the time of the incident.

The pilot has since been returned to work as our investigation found that his actions

deescalated an altercation between passengers on the jetway floor during deplaning."

None of the parties involved pressed charges.

H-Game Review 8:"Bulma's Adventure" - Duration: 13:25.

Welcome to a new episode of H-Game Reviews.

I'm your host O21.

Today's game is a Dragon Ball Parody.

If you lived in the 90's, just like me,

you probably watched the famous anime, Dragon Ball.

And this game is a parody of it.

And if you were like me, you probably had the 'hots' for Bulma.

Well, that's...

not exactly like that but well...

Erm...

Today's game, I decided to review

because I wanted to

try and review the number one game in the ranking

of the last 30 days but unfortunately

the number one game was kind of a...

torture and imprisonment game,

which kind of makes me uneasy, very uncomfortable.

So, I decided to play

and review the second one.

And this is it.

Its name is

"Buruma no bouken"

which translates as,

you probably guess it,

Bulma's adventure.

Let's get to it.

As always, this is the trial version.

If you want, you can download it

from the link in the description

and if you like the game enough

you can buy it too.

This is actually the second time

I try reviewing a game without a script.

So, If I say something that's too stupid,

I expect you to forgive me.

Ok.

As far as I know,

the game is kind of a

janken pon game or

Rock, paper, scissors.

Let's see. -Finally, the Kame Island.

Well, that's the young Bulma.

When she started looking for the Dragon Balls,

she was actually 14.

If I don't remember wrong.

(I did remember wrong, she was 16.)

But let's assume

she is 21 for this game.

Let's just assume.

-It should be somewhere around here.

-Maybe a little more to the west.

In this game, if you lose,

you get to see the actual H-scenes.

Which I kind of don't like but...

we'll talk about that later.

-The radar has detected a dragon ball.

-Great.

-Let's go.

It's a bit on the slow side.

Ah, ok. It seems that we can play now.

As I was telling you,

I don't actually like when you

have to lose to see H-scenes.

It means that you have to restart...

What was that?

I'm getting some reaction in the Dragon Radar.

Well...

When you have to lose

to see the H-scenes

you usually have to restart the game too.

So, It's not... it's not fun at all.

We have found one.

It's not fun that way because

the game loses...

momentum, linearity.

Now, let's try to get this Dragon Ball.

If I remember well, this is a very strong character here.

This is Tao Pai Pai.

But, let's try it anyway.

"Not available in the demo version", ok.

Let's go somewhere else.

I consider this...

actually...

not good, to find

something you can't do

so soon

in the trial version.

They should let you, at least, play

half an hour

or maybe...

No, this is too far.

Half an hour,

or at least fifteen minutes.

We haven't played...

what? like...

five minutes?

And we have found

something we can't do already.

Now, ok.

This is the turtle.

Not available in the demo version.

Let's see if we can find something we can do so we can review the game.

If not maybe I will

buy the game. But I don't really want to do that.

because it seems the game is a bit slow. Let's try this guy.

Not available in the demo version.

Ok.

Let's see if we can find something else.

One last chance.

Ok, it seems that we have finally found.

Something we can try

in this game.

In the trial version to try.

I don't like it when you have to fight

your way through the trial version. It should be very simple.

It shows that there's no

much common sense in making the game.

Because if they had

a bit more of... I don't know...

a bit more of an idea of how it is to deal with a trial game,

they could have put this guy just a bit more in front

so we could... we could easily access him.

And we could actually try the game.

And... usually, as I told you, it usually means that

there's not much common sense in making the game.

But well,

let's try it anyway.

-A talking pig.

Oh, of course. It is Oolong.

But, well. They call it

Elon here.

-Oh, you have really big tits.

Ok.

-Let's do pafu pafu.

Ok. That's some great English there.

-Stay away pig.

Oh, ok.

Oh. As I told you, this is a

kind of a

Janken pon game or a

Rock, paper, scissors.

Let's see.

Let's try...

They say people always choose

scissors. So, let's try rock.

Let's try rock.

And we lost that part.

Ok.

We'll we still have,

I suppose, two more chances.

Let's go with

rock again.

You need to actually double-click it.

That makes

not much sense. But well.

I won. Ok.

Ok.

She just shot him.

Ok.

What about...

once again with rock.

What could go wrong?

And we won again.

One more shot on the pig.

And we won. So...

we just have to win twice.

-All right. I got the Dragon Ball.

Ah, I mean a "Dagon Ball".

All right.

If you want to continue, you must buy the full game.

That's it.

We couldn't play even like, what? Like...

Seven minutes?

And it's already over.

Well, that's it. Maybe the full version is actually

much better.

But... I'm not liking it, personally.

Well... I hope you enjoyed today's video and I hope to see you next time.

Actually, let's try this again one more time.

As I was telling you,

we can see from

these little details, that there's not

much common sense in making the game.

Because you

can't choose to lose.

You can't even do that if you want to watch the H-scenes.

Which is kind of the whole point of the game.

Of an H-game.

So well. Let's try to lose.

It should take as much effort to lose as to win.

Ok. I'm going to go scissors this time.

Full scissors. Come on pig, win.

I won.

Ok.

Come on, pig. You can do it.

One more time.

Ok. That was

fast.

Ok. You can.

And the pig won.

Well done, pig.

Now let's see what we get.

-Olon wins.

Wasn't it, Elon?

-Show me those big tits.

-Kyaa, stay away pervert pig.

Oh!

This is actually not that bad.

There's animation.

-Do it correctly and I'll give you the Dagon Ball.

Ok. The dagon ball. I suppose they can't just say Dragon Ball.

-This is a real Pafu Pafu.

Ah, they could...

they could have used...

another word.

Pafu Pafu is like...

like tits, that's ok.

It's like... playing with tits.

It's like...

an onomatopoeia

in Japanese

for playing with tits.

With something soft.

And game over.

They could have just said

a tit-job or something.

And now we have to restart.

Well. Anyway,

it was fun.

The animation part is a...

is a redeeming point.

Well, that's it for today.

I hope you liked the video.

And if you liked the game, please, buy it.

Or at least,

download the trial version. You can...

Now you know what you have to do.

And I hope to see you next time.

English for Chinese Speakers 28-'a hard language to learn' or 'a hard to learn language'?(subtitled) - Duration: 2:39.

Hi again everyone, and welcome back to 'One

English Tip in One Minute for Speakers

of Chinese (and its many language

varieties)'. In these videos I discuss each

week, in detail, one common English

mistake made by Chinese speakers...and

this is video number 28.

I say this every week -- and you

probably really don't believe me because

I say it all the time, but it really is

true: I think it's a very smart, cool and

practical thing in today's world to do

to try to improve your English. Good

for you, and I hope these videos are

helping you.

In these videos I show you a slide and

on the side there are two sentences: One

of them is the correct way that a native

English speaker would say it,

the other is the wrong way that many

Chinese speakers say it. Your job is

to decide which is correct. Again, do

that now. Read the sentences,

listen to me read the sentences, pause

the video, think about your answer and I

will discuss the answer in the slide

that follows this slide.

Hopefully that went well for you, and

you didn't have any major trouble with

this. If so, you can sort of move on

and not think about this so much. If

you got it wrong -- or you just happened to

get lucky by guessing and getting it

right --

it just means you have to study a little

bit more. It's really not that much work

to get past this mistake. To start you

off on the process, I've given you three

sentences you can study from. You should

memorize the sentences, you should review

them constantly -- it's very important to

review -- and you should put into practice

what you've learned through speaking or

writing or both...and just keep up that

process until the bad English is out of

your head and the good English is in. And

use the other many other resources

around you to help you with this as well.

2017-04-23 HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu Transmits and Discourses on Golden Light Mantra - Duration: 13:57.

True Buddha School

TBSN Video

(Audience applause)

At this time

We start to recite the mantra

To recite

Here is the mantra

This mantra can be found in all Taoist scriptures

They all have this mantra as long as they are Taoist scriptures,

This is not a really secret mantra

Any Taoist scripture would have this mantra

All Taoist scriptures have this mantra

Tian-di-xuan-zong [The profundity of the universe]

Wan-qi-ben-gen [Is the one origin of everything]

Quang-xiu-wan-jie [By cultivating broadly through countless kalpas]

Zheng-wu-shen-tong [One attains transcendental ability]

San-jie-nei-wai [Inside and outside of the Three Realms]

Wei-dao-du-zun [Tao is the honored one]

Fu-you-jin-guan [The talisman has golden light]

Zhao-hu-wu-shen [Which covers and protects the body]

Zhao-hu-wu-shen [Which covers and protects the body]

Shi-zhi-bu-jian [Cannot be seen]

Ting-zhi-bu-wen [Cannot be heard]

Bao-luo-tian-di [Encompassing the entire universe]

Yang-yu-qun-sheng [Nurturing sentient beings]

Shou-chi-yi-bian [By one recitation]

Shen-you-guang-ming [Entire body radiates light]

San-jie-shi-wei [Protected in the Three Realms]

Wu-di-si-ying [Welcomed by the Five Emperors]

Wan-shen-chao-li [Homage paid by thousands of divinities]

Yi-shi-lei-ting [Invokes thunders]

Gui-yao-sang-dan [Frightens ghosts and evil spirits]

Jing-guai-wang-xing [Eliminates spiritual monsters]

Nei-you-pi-li [Power produced from within]

Lei-shen-yin-ming [Guarded by thunder gods]

Tong-hui-jiao-che [Interaction of supernatural ability and wisdom]

Wu-qi-teng-teng [Vigorous five qi's]

Jin-guang-su-xian [Instant manifestation of golden light]

Fu-fu-zhen-ren [Covers and protects the true practitioner]

Ji-ji-ru-yu-huang-lu-ling [By Jade Emperor's edict Execute the order immediately]

Jade Emperor is also fine

Oh

Here I wrote

Ji-ji-ru-lu-ling [Execute the order immediately per this edict]

Which does not use the name of Jade Emperor

It is fine to use the name of Jade Emperor

The Jade

The Jade Emperor

By Jade Emperor's edict

This mantra is in Chinese

So most of you

Once reading it

Will understand immediately

Everyone

This

What I wrote

Is for one to recite this mantra one time

Taoist scriptures however state

One recites it 10,000 times

In other words, one should recite this mantra often

One should also visualize

The Golden Mantra

Form the mudra

Release the mudra above the head

Within your body

There will be golden light

Covering and protecting you

One will be covered by golden light

You will be covered by the golden light

Therefore, this practice can set protective boundaries.

Which will keep outside spirits away

Chant this mantra one time

Perform the visualization

And form the mudra

This will set the boundary around one's body

It sets boundary around one's body

By chanting the mantra for a long period of time

One's body will radiates brilliant light

Will have light

Will emit light

Ghosts and deities will all see the light emitting from your body

This method

Should be easy

For everyone

A mudra

A talisman

A golden light

Followed by

Chanting the mantra

Chant the complete mantra

As many times as you wish

It is the best to complete 10,000 recitations

Taoist scriptures state to chant it 10,000 times

10,000 times

I wrote that one chants it just one time

However

Taoist scriptures say to recite it 10,000 times

It does not mean to recite it 10,000 time all at once

It however means that every time

When one cultivates before one's altar

One adds this practice

It is equal to

Performing Armor Protection

It functions the same as Armor Protection

The function of this practice

It is clear

It's function

Is in the mantra

The function is stated in the mantra

Tian-di-xuan-zong [The profundity of the universe]

Wan-qi-ben-gen [Is the one origin of everything]

Quang-xiu-wan-jie [By cultivating broadly through countless kalpas]

Zheng-wu-shen-tong [One attains transcendental ability]

San-jie-nei-wai [Inside and outside of the Three Realms]

Wei-dao-du-zun [Tao is the honored one]

Fu-you-jin-guan [The talisman has golden light]

Zhao-hu-wu-shen [Which covers and protects the body]

This is

This is the function

Shi-zhi-bu-jian [Cannot be seen]

Ting-zhi-bu-wen [Cannot be heard]

Bao-luo-tian-di [Encompassing the entire universe]

Yang-yu-qun-sheng [Nurturing sentient beings]

Shou-chi-yi-bian [By one recitation]

Shen-you-guang-ming [Entire body radiates light]

You see, the body produces light

If one means to practice this dharma, it's best to recite this mantra 10,000 times

One will then radiate light

San-jie-shi-wei [Protected in the Three Realms]

This is the function

What are the Three Realms?

Heaven, earth, and human

You are protected in the heaven

You are protected on the earth

You are also protected by all the people

San-jie-shi-wei [Protected in the Three Realms]

Wu-di-si-ying [Welcomed by the Five Emperors]

Five Emperors

What are the Five Emperors

We can say

Because one radiates light

The Five Emperors of Taoism

Means emperors of five colors

In the Moon

There are emperors of five colors

Five-color Emperors

In the Moon

There are emperors of five colors

Black Emperor

White Emperor

Red Emperor

Yellow Emperor

There are five colors

Five colors

Red

Red Emperor

White Emperor

If we follow in accordance with the five elements

North belongs to water

Which means White Emperor

Is white...Hold on...

Belonging to water should be Black Emperor

North belongs to water. That means Black Emperor

South belongs to fire

Which is Red Emperor

West belongs to gold

Meaning Yellow Emperor

Yellow Emperor

East belongs to wood

It should be Green Emperor

Green Emperor

Center belongs to earth

Which is White Emperor

White Emperor

The five directions

These are the emperors of five directions

Five colors of the five directions

Fire is red

Do you understand?

(Audience: Yes)

Five directions have five colors

In the Moon, there are Five Emperors

Wu-di-si-ying

Means the Five Emperors

When they see you

They will welcome you

The Five Emperors will welcome you when seeing you

Wan-shen-chao-li

Wow, this is really powerful

After one practices this

All divinities

Have to pay homage to one

All divinities pay homage to one

All divinities pay homage

Yi-shi-lei-ting

Yi-shi-lei-ting

Means the five thunders in the heaven

Are all invoked by your voice

One invokes the five thunders

Gui-yao-sang-dan

Ghosts and evil spirits won't dare to touch you

Jing-guai-wang-xing

Evil spirits

And ghosts

All

Will stay far away from one

Nei-you-pi-li

Nei-you-pi-li means

One on one's own

Can produce power

Lei-shen-yin-ming

Thunder Gods

At just the right time

You are guarded by the Thunder Gods

Tong-hui-jiao-che

Tong-hui

Having equipped with supernatural ability and wisdom

The two interact

Wu-qi-teng-teng

What is Wu-qi?

Same, north, south, west, east, and center

Like in our body

The Five Qi's in Vajrayana

The Heart Qi

Heart Qi

Ascending Qi

Descending Qi

Circulating Qi

Balancing Qi

These are the Five Qi's

Wu-qi-teng-teng

Jin-guang-su-xian

Fu-fu-zhen-ren

Manifests the golden light immediately

To protect the practitioner

The true practitioner

A practitioner who truly practices is a true practitioner

Here it says ji-ji-ru-yu-huang-lu-ling

See how powerful the functioning is

As long as one practices the Golden Light Mantra

Would one need to be afraid of any ghosts and evil spirits?

Rev. Lianjing wouldn't have needed to come

(Grandmaster and audience laugh)

She would have come anyway!

The functioning of this practice is actually all stated in the mantra

However, we should not be arrogant

If you truly have

Have a kind heart

Truly have a sincere heart

One with these qualities can be called a true practitioner

A true practitioner

A so-called true practitioner

We can say

A completely pure person

Can truly be called a "true practitioner"

In Taoism, a real practitioner

Is always called

A "True Practitioner"

In Confucianism, they are called a "sage"

Sage

True Practitioner

Immortal

Even

The Buddha

The Buddha himself also said that

He is a "person"

However, this "person"

Is actually a Golden Immortal

The Daluo Golden Immortal

This "person" is one and the same as the Daluo Golden Immortal

This practice belongs to Taoism

Golden Light Mantra Practice

Golden Light Mantra Practice

This

How I put it together in the book

Generally speaking, books are not written in this way

Only I myself have put it this way

It includes the mantra

It has the mantra

The mudra

And the Golden Light Talisman

Together, the three constitute a cultivation method

Follow the steps

Gradually

Learning Taoism

I am leaning Taoism

By doing this

When one is accomplished

One is called a "true practitioner"

One then is different from the worldly people

Ordinary worldly people

One who is above ordinary worldly people

One who is a practitioner

One who truly practices

One who does not swindle money

One who does not deceive people

One who is not a sexual con artist

One who truly practices

Is called a "true practitioner"

If, when cultivating,

One can always remain in a state of purity

This kind of practitioner is called a "true practitioner"

Basic Gardening Tips for Beginners | How to Plant a Fern in 8 Steps - Duration: 3:17.

Welcome to Basic Gardening Tips for Beginners

In this video, we will tell how to plant a fern in 8 steps

Planting a fern can be fairly difficult.

Knowing what time of year to plant it,

how to move it,

how to handle the large leaves can all be very difficult.

With just a little bit of work it can be easily done,

however, and take only a short amount of time.

Step 01 Get the fern started indoors

Get the fern started indoors,

especially if you live in an area with unreliable weather for your particular breed of fern.

All types of ferns require a different climate,

however most prefer a hot humid atmosphere.

Grow the fern indoors until you begin to see multiple leaves spring out from the center.

The goal is to grow it until you have enough roots to hold it a ball in your hand,

however you do not want to pull the plant out of the ground prematurely.

If you're not sure whether the fern is quite ready to be planted outdoors,

leave it in the ground for a while longer.

Step 02 Figure out the time of year

Figure out the time of year best for planting.

During the Spring season (where winter is cold and wet where you live) is best.

In warmer climates Fall is preferable.

Step 03 Get the fern ready to be moved.

If your fern is a good size and is actively growing,

cut the leaves by half of their length.

This will make it easier to move and relieve the stress of the plant.

Step 04 Dig out a generous ball of the roots

Don't be afraid to pull up a lot of dirt along with the roots.

The shape of the ball isn't too important,

so don't worry about shaping it afterwards.

This will hurt the roots more than anything.

Step 05 Dig a hole the same size as the root ball

Dig a hole the same size as the root ball and place the fern inside.

Leaving a generous amount of space for the hole to fit is okay,

as you will be filling it in and watering it in the extra space.

Step 06 Pour water into the area

Water more than you normally would as this will get

the soil ready and begin to get the fern used to it's new area.

Step 07 Fill in excess space with soil

Fill in excess space with soil.

Don't pack too tightly, leave the soil soft.

Step 08 Monitor the plant

Monitor the plant and make sure it is growing at the same rate as before you planted it.

The growing rate should be fairly close to the same.

If the plant isn't responding well,

move it back to where you had it before.

Don't move the plant's location too often.

This will injures the plant.
