Hey, BookTube, it's Sylwia. It's 8 a.m. on
April- April 29th.
Dewey's Read-A-Thon is about to start.
I'm in a horrendous mood. I just want to
quit everything. So we'll see how today
goes. It is 8:51am. My partner cheered me up a
little so I'm in a better mood and I
finished The Ancient Magus's Bride
volume 4. It's 9:13am. I finished Chi's
Sweet Home volume 5. It is 9:47 a.m. I
ate some Special K Choclatey Delight cereal and I finished Kimi Ni Todoke
volume 12.
Shikkaku volume 4. Did I forget something?
Kitchen Princess! That's what I forgot!
Volume 2, I read that also. It's around 12pm.
I read Yotsuba vol 1. I'm gonna take a
20-minute break. I think I'm gonna wash
my hair and shower and stuff like that.
So I'm back home now. While driving I was
listening to the Splintered audiobook
and the Born a Crime audiobook. It is 2
p.m. I'm going to go on the website to
see if there's a challenge. That's pretty
much all I do every hour on the hour,
I do the read-a-thon challenge and then
I just read for the rest of the hour. I
made a huge mistake by not having a meal
plan or snacks because, like, all I can
think about is food.
I'm so hungry! And I'm really bummed that
I'm not enjoying most of the manga that
I'm reading so that really sucks. Harry
Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came
to the library for me so I might read
that instead. I don't know. My mood is
better. I'm not enjoying today so far.
It's 3:10pm. I just fell asleep listening
to Splintered because it is mostly
boring so I'm going to take a 20-minute
nap. Okay, I think I'm officially in a good
mood, it only took 8 hours LOL.
It is 4:17 p.m. I read a significant
amount of Splintered which I'm not
enjoying at all. And now I'm reading The
Ancient Magus's Bride and my plans
are to read this and to read as many
volumes of Emma as I want and to read
the next volume of Kimi Ni Todoke. It is
5:05pm. I
finished The Ancient Magus's Bride
vol.5 which I loved. I'm giving it five
stars. It actually made me cry. It was
fantastic. I need to get the sixth one as
soon as possible.
What are the plans now? I'm just going to
be reading everything I told you I'm
going to read, doing the challenges,
talking on Twitter, then I'm picking up
my partner from work and we're picking
up Japanese today, which is great. I am
just like a whole new person now that I
took that nap! It's 5:40 p.m. and I am
not putting makeup on today because as
much as I would like to wear it, 2 manga
have made me cry so far. So even though I
gave you an entire list of books that I
plan to read today what I ended up doing
is rereading vol 1 of 17 by Michiko
Sakurai. That's my attempt at pronouncing
a Japanese name. I read this when it was
publishing and I really loved it and
I've tried to look for it to buy it
because I really want to reread it even
though I remember nothing about it other
than loving it. I reread it today and I
give it 4 stars and I've allowed it to
interfere with my other reading plans. So
this is what it looks like when I'm
about to leave the house. I'm bringing
Emma, this is actually volume three and
four, and I'm bringing Utena volumes I
think it's going to be volumes 1, 2,
and a half, because there's two of these
big bind-ups and there's only five
volumes. I don't know. I don't know how
that works.
Umm I hate Splintered. I'm 180 pages into
it and I just want to give up, but I
don't know. I don't know what to do.
So Splintered I'm leaving it at home.
But I'm going to grab Harry Potter and
Order of the Phoenix. Maybe I should take
that busted-up copy first and then I'll
go to the pretty copy. Because it (the audiobook) is
available at the library for me so I'm
doing that and I'm starving and I'm
going to pick up my partner from work and
then we're picking up Japanese food
which is gonna be awesome.
So I'm picking up my partner from work
this is actually my third time outside
today because the second time I thought
I lost my wallet so I ran out of the
apartment, like, searching for my wallet
everywhere, but it was on my bookshelves,
of course. Where everything belongs. On my
bookshelf. So while driving over here I
listened to Harry Potter and the Order of
the Phoenix and I'm going to be reading
manga now because I'm very early and I
have to wait until they get out of work.
It is 8 p.m. I'm back home. I have food,
finally. And I'm going to take a little
break to watch something with my partner
while I eat. Oh! We listened to Born a Crime
on our way home. It is 9 p.m. I'm getting
back into reading. It is 9:42pm. I finished
volume one of Revolalalalala ... lalalala ... lalalala ... TAKE TWO! It's 9:40PM. - I
finished volume one of Revolutionary
Girl Utena. It's 11 p.m. I'm reading Emma
volume 3 but I'm putting it down. I'm
going to go to bed and either read manga
on my iPad or an audiobook, I'm not sure.
It's 5:52am on Sunday.
There's three challenges still going on
the website so I'm going to do them in
the next seven minutes. Okay! The
read-a-thon is over! It is 8 a.m. on
Sunday. I read Emma volume 3 and Kimi Ni
Todoke volume 13. I want to say in total
I read either 15 or 16 things. I did the
math a couple of times and I am not sure
which one of those it is. They readathon
started off on a bad note because I
was grumpy and somebody pissed me off
which made me grumpy and angry, you can
have a combo apparently of those two
things, then after I took my little nap
the day was restored and I had a really
good time for the remainder of the day. I
really would like to host one of the
challenges for Dewey's next time. I said
that last time and I guess I didn't
prepare far enough in advance, so maybe I
can do that in October. I read a lot of
great stuff and it has definitely made
me want to read even more so April and
May are going to be huge reading months
for me. For the rest of today I will
probably be filming because I am way
behind on filming. Come talk to me in the
comments! <3
