Developer Update | Happy First Anniversary! | Overwatch - Duration: 9:27.

Welcome to today's Developer Update.

I'm Jeff, from the Overwatch Team.

This is a very exciting one.

Because on May 23rd, 2016,

we launched Overwatch.

And we really didn't know what the

what the reception was going to be like.

And it was absolutely amazing.

We are so fortunate here at Blizzard

that so many of you came along for the ride

and not only played Overwatch

but fell in love with it like we fell in love with it

and you guys really made this game your own

and now this universe belongs to you.

So, in order to celebrate the anniversary of Overwatch

we will be having our Overwatch Anniversary Event.

I think there's going to be a lot of cool stuff

for many of you, for different reasons.

First off, there's going to be an Anniversary-specific loot box

that has some of the most amazing items we've made to date.

For example, Hanzo mains have been asking us

for new Hanzo legendary skins.

And there's a really great one in here. We hope you enjoy it.

Same with Zarya mains.

We've heard a lot of talk about wanting a new Zarya skin.

And it's in there for you.

There's also a great Lúcio skin.

And we're doing some very special experiments with that one

to see if we can try new things.

We were putting two new songs on the Lúcio skin

that adapt both the "healing" song and the "speed" song

to the style of the skin, which is sort of in this jazz style.

So, we really hope you guys enjoy some of the skins we've made.

Extra special in this Anniversary loot box are dances for all the heroes.

Our animators had a ton of fun exploring each of our characters

and asking themselves, you know, "How would Soldier: 76 dance?"

If you went to a party and you saw Reaper

what would he be doing in his dance?

What would Reinhardt's dance be?

We hope you have fun unlocking these and checking these out,

and playing with them in-game.

We look forward to the funny moments that we expect to come out of that.

So, lots of cool loot box items from the Anniversary loot boxes

more than I'm going to mention in this Dev Update.

But, there's also cool permanent content coming as part of this Anniversary Event

and we wanted to talk about some of that with you as well.

So, for the Arcade, we will be adding three new arena maps to the game.

Arena Maps, if you guys remember, are things like Ecopoint: Antarctica

which are smaller maps that we can do some different modes on

that enable really fun and different gameplay types.

So, let's talk about some of the maps and modes

that we're going to add.

We are going to add a Black Forest map that takes place between the

Black Forest, outside of Eichenwalde, and Eichenwalde castle itself.

So, sort of between where "The Last Bastion" the movie took place,

and the Battle of Eichenwalde.

So, there's a really cool Black Forest map that features a very unique design

You can shortcut to the enemy spawn almost instantaneously in this map.

If you want to.

So there's an immediate clash of action.

We're also adding a map called Necropolis, that takes place outside of

the Temple of Anubis. And it takes place at night.

This map is a lot of fun because there are some special story elements here.

You can see an area where Jack Morrison is hanging out

waiting to gain information from Ana Amari.

And Ana Amari's workshop and hideout is in this location as well.

So, we hope you have fun with that.

There's also a really cool pit in the middle with some interesting jumps

that you can do both across the pit and down into the pit and still live.

So, we hope you enjoy the Necropolis map as well.

Lastly, we'll be adding a map known as: Castillo.

Castillo is a fort that looks out over Dorado.

In fact, you can look down and actually see the entire Dorado layout beneath you

It takes place on the beautiful Mexican coast

and it features a really cool "round" design,

which encourages almost immediate action.

But a really cool circular flow to it as well.

We think you'll find it a lot of fun.

You'll also see some cool story hints in here

You'll see some Sombra's hacking den.

And you will see the bar where McCree and Sombra were

in the Reflections comic.

Both of those things are things to look out for.

There's also a cool Los Muertos alley off to the side.

So, three new maps coming.

These maps not only will be added for the Anniversary Event

but will persist and be a part of Overwatch from now on.

And you can access them not only in the Arcade modes

That I'm about to talk about, but in custom game as well.

So, that brings our total arena map number up to four.

So, these new modes... first of all let's talk about Elimination.

We're going to change how overtime works in Elimination

or I should say "Sudden Death."

So, the way it used to work is after a set amount of time

you would get a warning and then it would reveal both characters.

But we found there was a lot of frustrating moments

In particular with characters like Roadhog or Soldier: 76

with their self-healing,

who could sort of avoid the enemy as much as they wanted to

and force a draw to happen.

We're changing this dynamic completely.

What will happen now is after a set amount of time,

we will give you a 30-second warning.

At the end of those 30 seconds, a capture point becomes available

usually in the center of these maps

And once that point is available, whoever captures it wins.

So, that means the days of Symmetra in Ecopoint: Antarctica

camping out in her spawn room the whole time,

waiting for the enemy to come.

and if the enemy doesn't come, force a draw.

Those days will be gone.

You now need to go out and fight.

And if you don't go out and fight,

that capture point is going to end the match very quickly.

In our internal play testing, it's playing really well.

We'll watch how you guys play it and we'll do some

tuning and tweaking and adjusting

when we see, just how long should it take

and are we revealing it soon enough.

But, beyond the tie-breaking mechanism, which we're excited about,

we're adding two new ways to play Elimination.

And in the custom game options,

you can set these to any player amounts you want.

But, in the Arcade, for Anniversary...

First of all we'll have something called "Limited Duel"

And what Limited Duel is: is each round when it's a 1v1 mode

and each round when it starts we will give you and your opponent

a random three-set of heroes.

But you guys have the exact same three heroes to pick from,

and you can pick any hero you want.

What this does is create a lot of fun, sort of, play and counter play.

What you're trying to do is figure out, not only what hero are you best at,

but what hero stands the best chance against the other two heroes.

So, there's some really interesting

rock-paper-scissors type of decisions in the Limited Duel mode

and this mode again will be available in custom game.

And you could try it with more than just one player if you want.

We really look forward to seeing what you guys have to say about that.

The other thing that we're adding is a lockout Elimination.

And the way lockout Elimination works...

First of all, for the Anniversary Event we're setting it to 3 players.

And the way that this works is both teams select whatever 3 heroes they want

kind of like how Elimination works today.

But as soon as your team wins with those 3 heroes, they are locked out.

You're not allowed to play them again.

So, if your team picks Roadhog, Soldier: 76, and Ana

and you win the very first round of that Elimination mode,

you're not allowed to play Roadhog, Soldier: 76, and Ana again.

They're now locked out for you.

This came about as a community suggestion.

We thought it was fantastic.

We've been play testing it a lot, and we really enjoy it.

So, we hope you enjoy it as well.

Again, all of these options will have extra abilities

for you to tune and tweak them as you like in Custom Game.

And we highly recommend you start playing around with the new maps

and modes in Custom Game.

So, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Some of the fun stuff that's coming as part of the Anniversary Event.

Really, we want this event to be a celebration of you

our fantastic community.

We would not be where we are today without you.

This game absolutely belongs to you guys.

I consider us just the custodians of Overwatch at this point.

It is your world.

You are the heroes. You're telling us what's going on.

We cannot thank you guys enough for what an amazing year it's been

And we look forward to the year in front of us.

Thank you.

【皇室堯起來】Healing Idol deck/治療偶像套! - Duration: 10:05.

Hi everyone, welcome to Royale with Yao

YaoYao here

Today I'd like to show you a new Idol Deck

which has Heal added

So some of you might recall

Previously we had

in one of my earlier vids

we had a deck

called Idols Deck

with Golem & 3 Muskets from 5.0

Now after all the updates

we've now added Heal and Battle Ram

Let's see how it performs

the damage comes from the 3 Muskets and Minion Horde

So let's try this out

how an Idol Deck with Heal

can perform

In terms of strategy

our core playstyle will be same as before

to get an elixir advantage

playing a ton of creatures

to overrun our opponent

so over here

we got an Ice Golem

now my start-off hand is quite bad

with no

starting without elixir collector

so starting with a disadvantage

let's play some goblins first

get better draw

then

with a Battle Ram just now

there's our collector, at last

so think I can put down collector here

see what he does

and we have a Log ready for defense

all prepared

but now he goes

Hog plus Goblin Barrel

Then because here

we not doing any defense

with this deck

that's how it's played

you have to lose some HP

here you see

leaving left side open

defend a bit on right side

have to deal with Barrel

if not then

that's a tower right there

here's the core play style for this deck

take some hits

but here gotta defend a bit

otherwise the tower goes down

you have to judge if the tower's in danger

if might lose it

lose too much HP

or in danger of losing collector

then you have to defend

Ok here we'll probably go..

3 Muskets..not enough elixir

Gotta wait for it, so let's do Ram first

with a Minion Horde

That's better use of our elixir

here I want to play Heal

right here

to heal up on this side

heal first

heal up the Minion Horde

you can see the Horde deals a lot of damage

enough to take out his tower

and also takes care of

the spear goblins

and here we still got

a Barbarian dealing damage to tower

even though both my towers are low

still play Collector anyway

so he might go

Hog rider, or Barrel to pressure

let's defend a bit

take a break before hitting other tower

here's Hog plus Barrel

we'll play a Log

to hold off this wave

so this wave here we take no damage

follow with a Golem

see how he reacts

Wow ok he goes Cannon

that's quite good for us

here just defend a little

Use next Battle Ram to draw fire

and get ready to play 3 Muskets

with the Musketeers

our positioning for Musketeers

is slightly

just a bit off

but should be alright

he plays something

that's fine that's fine, don't need heal yet

we'll play Minion Horde

after Horde then

heal up the Musketeers

here you see

he wants to use Goblins to

take out my Muskets

let's just heal up

after the heal goes down

just follow-up with more creatures

keep up the attack

and one more Log to sweep the game

this deck compared with the original version

is quite similar

just with a Heal thrown in

with adding the

adding a spell

gives more flexibility in play

ok let's try one more

with this start-off hand

think we can go Battle Ram

let him think it's a 3 Musketeer Deck

But in fact

In fact I got Golems + Muskets

Now over here

I'll need to

Let's play a Collector

lose some health

it's ok to lose some HP here

not too much

let his Princess lock on

then we play Goblins

to take-out the Princess

ok here you can see

we lose some HP on both sides

but he doesn't have 3 Musketeers

Actually if he doesn't have Fireball

Musketeer is probably a better play

but with our hand here

don't have a

good combo with Muskets

only Heal

so with only Log and Heal in hand

let's wait rather

see how he handles this

here I'll pre-empt a Log

should be able to get something

pre-empt a play

I'm thinking if should heal my Muskets

ok that didn't work out..

Nope, that's that

Let's use Minion Horde to defend a bit

so he burns one

this wave was

quite bad for us, losing on cost

also losing HP

because starting off, losing the Collector

to his Fireball

that's a real hit

playing Musketeer there was also bad

not enough elixir

for Collector, and nothing

I can do against Princess

think with this game I should've

played Battle Ram,

force him to go defensive

then use Log

to take out Princess as well

that's probably the better play

or otherwise I should've played

Collector first, then use Log

if he plays something after that

that's tough to respond to

So that play just now was quite ok

then here I'll put a Collector

near bottom left corner

Because I know he doesn't have Miner now

so we play here

see if he wants to Fireball

But he already knows that I got

3 Musketeers

so he might

not dare to use Fireball on my collector

that gives me an advantage

that's ok, so now

after we play Musketeers

he'll likely Fireball here

right afterwards I'll heal up

right after it hits

Should be in time, yeah

Now go with another Battle Ram

use the Ram to tank some damage

just in case of Princess

or other things he might throw down

to take me out

so here we use another Log

finish off his right tower

left tower goes down too

on the left just a Goblin Gang

is enough to take out his tower

we use Golem to defend here

Follow-up with Musketeers

But not enough time, else we should get 3-stars

and his Fireball's down

so the strength of this deck is that

you won't lose Musketeer to his Fireball, Log

won't lose to that combo

most Musketeers will

will go down to that

but so long as he

doesn't follow-up immediately

without enough elixir

you can use Heal to heal back up

so with this deck

you have a real edge in that

if he can't take out your Musketeers all at once

with a Heal spell

that'll really screw him up

Ok on with our next game

So with this start-up

To play this deck

you need to have some luck

Because you need Collector in hand

to have a decent game

that's why I had such a tough early game

because Collector just didn't come through

that's what happens

here we start with a Battle Ram

that should get through

well maybe not

put down a Goblin Gang here

some backline defense

as before, we got Collector last

Not bad not bad

Here's a tough choice

with a hand like this

don't really have a good play here

that's fine, we'll do a Golem

Unfortunately our Golems' on different sides

With elixir advantage on his side

It's a disadvantage for me

But no worries

Just take it easy, go easy

With a Baby Dragon here

Can wait for it to lock on tower

After going for tower, then we attack Dragon

this way

afterwards I can use this wave

to take out his Golem

without losing too much HP

and follow-up with a Battle Ram

and Minion Horde to go on offense

I can even use Heal on

on this, you know

Heal up the Battle Ram

After Ram explodes we still get Barbarian and Minions

on this wave

so this attack gets him down quite a bit

But unfortunately my right tower's almost gone

and with the Elixir Collector, thing is

if you can't start-off with a Collector

that's quite a disadvantage

our right tower is pretty much gone

so let's see what to do next

probably go for

yeah right tower is better, even with the higher HP

that's fine, so after this wave

We go with a Golem

Till now I still don't know what spells he's got

Don't think he's played any

Yeah if I remember right, haven't seen his spells yet

So don't know how to handle

Not sure if should play Musketeer

Let's just go

Don't worry about it

Play Musketeers straight up

I'm guessing he's got Lightning

So let's prep for it

Ok guess not

That's ok, a Log here will do fine

Log is a great play here

Takes out a lot all at once

Follow with a Goblin Gang

and a Heal

Try to drag out this wave

Because our right tower is almost

ok we take out his right

But this wave I think

Should've waited for

his Dragon to attack my tower, then Musketeer

Don't think he's got a counter to my Musketeers

So muskets should be able to push in

Ok, then throw in a Golem

You can see I got 44HP on the right

29HP on the left

Wait a bit here

play a Log

then Minion Horde

and get ready to Heal

Heal up the Minions

Because that's my main damage dealer now

So you see

Normally with Baby Dragon

One hit will almost take me out

But now

with the Heal we can hold up fine

Ok and that's it

Nice win here

Quite a close game

But I think with this deck

Well

Very fun, dishes a lot of damage

Can go try it out

Thanks for watching!

Review - Lego Creator: Summer Cottage (31035) - Duration: 3:42.

Hey everyone!

JAYSTEPHER with Summer Cottage By The Sea

from Beach Hut by Lego Creator.

Set number 31035.

Here we have a small summer cottage

right next to a small beach.

This gentleman is paddling his surfboard.

This young lady is on the walkway.

This cottage is small.

Tiny.

We have a lamp on the railing.

A chimney on top.

I like the use of the bucket for he top of the chimney.

It has a lot of windows.

Here we have a barbecue

with a mug on top.

I'm surprised that hasn't melted yet.

We even have some greenery in the back

and a light by the door.

Nice awning.

Two surfboards.

This does open up.

This is as far as the side opens.

Not a whole lot of interior decorating.

We have a bench and a little table.

It appears that it has a whole whopping 6 by 8 studs of space.

Not too large.

It is a cozy cottage at that.

There is a second floor,

however there is no access.

It would be nice if this were to open up,

and it could be a two-story summer cottage.

It is a nice build despite of it's size.

Just not a lot of room for the interior.

Let's take a closer look at the spare pieces.

As you can see,

there is still a great assortment of plates,

a few slopes,

a couple of bricks,

and other various elements

which may come in handy to enhance the

Summer Cottage By The Sea

or for other Lego creations.

This concludes the review for Summer Cottage By The Sea

from Beach Hut by Lego Creator.

Set number 31035.

It's not a bad Summer Cottage.

A bit on a small side.

It is a nice build.

It has lots of detail.

Just not a lot of space for the interior.

It will still be perfect for any Lego city

or as source for spare parts.

Thank you for watching!

Dive Conditions Report For Caloundra 24 May 2017 Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia #ScubaDive - Duration: 2:59.

Hey people of the interwebs it is Q

bringing you your dive conditions

midweek report. At the Caloundra Coast

Guard jetty we're on an outbound tide on

a beautiful beautiful Queensland day.

Taking the edge slightly off that beauty

is the fact that the water in the

Pumicestone Passage is still very dirty.

Cleaning up a little bit, but certainly

not enough visibility there to get a

scuba dive in on the weekend. Still very

flat and calm, because the wind is almost

non-existent, and the wind direction at

the moment is all over the place. It's

coming from every direction and changing

almost hourly. Overlooking Kings Beach,

perfect, calm surface conditions, but

unfortunately there is still zero

visibility in that water and I really

don't think it's going to clean up in

time for the coming weekend. The wind

that's all over the place at the moment

is going to stay that way for the rest

of the week, but Saturday and Sunday

morning it's going to be coming

generally from the southwest and still

be very light. Just coming up to low tide

and as we take a closer look at the

water off Kings Beach boat ramp. Again

confirming there is zero visibility in

the water and once again, in my opinion,

zero chance I'll be cleaning up for the

weekend. It still might be a good weekend

to head down to the beach, mostly sunny

for the rest of the week and with some

possible showers on Saturday and Sunday,

but the percentage chance is fairly low.

Coming around the Caloundra coastline to

Shelly Beach, still quite rough here with

some fairly decent-sized waves still

rolling in and again zero visibility and

zero chance of it cleaning up by the

time the weekend rolls around. As we take

a look down onto The Keyhole dive site,

there's actually a couple of surfers out

there hoping to catch some waves and you

don't see that too often. I can also see

the extent of the dirty water, it

stretches out almost to the horizon.

There really isn't any visibility the

further out you go. Zero viz inshore and

zero vis offshore. It's the same story as

we look down onto Moffatt Beach, zero

visibility and I really think there's zero

chance of itcleaning up in time for

the weekend. Your tide times for this

weekend, Saturday we have a high at

9 a.m. and a low at 3:02 p.m. Sunday we

have a high at 9:53 a.m.

and a low at 3:50 p.m. and the swell is

expected to be around about the 1 meter

mark for both Saturday and Sunday.

So once again I have to report there is

zero visibility in the waters around the

Caloundra shore diving locations, so don't

be getting your hopes up too high just

yet, it's going to take a little while

before it cleans up. If you found this

dave conditions midweek report with Q

helpful, please leave a thumbs up down

below, it really does help me out and

subscribe to the YouTube channel to see

future videos.

Thanks for watching and take it easy.

How Injectable Fillers Can Help with Facial Aging When Someone is Too Young for a Facelift - Duration: 8:17.

Thank you for your question.

You're 46-years-old and you submitted two photos and you're stating in your question

that you had fillers done in the tear troughs, the cheeks, the jowls.

You had gotten Botox® and overall, you've been satisfied with the results but you were

somewhat less than satisfied when you had the fillers placed in the jowls.

You felt that it made your face look fat and you want to know whether or not you're ready

for a facelift and that apparently, you do a very good job with makeup to camouflage

and you don't want to do as much.

Well I can certainly share with you this type of discussion I have with my patients pretty

much every day in my practice.

A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial

plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years and certainly, we

have evolved quite a bit over this time in the numerous options which can be somewhat

overwhelming but I'll give you an understanding of the step by step approach that I take when

addressing this type of question.

So to begin with, it's great that the fillers have addressed one significant part of facial

aging.

And to just recap or review what facial aging is about is that essentially, there are two

things: there's volume loss.

Volume loss is not just skin turning into wrinkles which is what everyone focuses on

but it's actually bone loss, muscle and fat loss overall.

So you lose projection in the cheeks, the chin, you get less definition of the jawline.

Then there's of course sagging.

The soft tissue descends and that's where various types of lifting procedures actually

have a role.

So when a patient asks about this type of scenario whether it's volume in the cheeks

or whether it's for the jawline, whether it's the concern about appearance, basically

I sit with them with a mirror or I show them and hold up a mirror and I'll lift the skin

and I'll see how much laxity is there.

That basically answers the question about the role of a facelift in this type of situation

like yourself.

Essentially, what I've concluded over the many years of doing this, is that there was

a time where someone with any laxity would probably have gotten some benefit from a face

lifting procedure and it might apply in your case.

Again, this is without the benefit of a physical exam.

But I think that you may be in that in-between stage where you might not be quite ready for

a facelift just based on your age alone.

And a lot of times, people look at their jawline and they see jowls, although that may be a

significant part where there's a descent, a jowl being defined as skin and fat descending

and disrupting the continuity of the jawline, but also, there is the loss of bone and an

indentation of the bone called the mandibular notch.

And so that area further accentuates the appearance of a jowl.

So in our practice, we do a procedure called structural volumizing where we're actually

addressing, as I mentioned earlier, the bone loss level of facial aging by placing a long

lasting filler such as Juvederm Ultra Plus or Juvederm Voluma at that level between the

bone and the muscle.

And by doing it in a strategic way in various areas such as the chin, the jawline and the

jaw angle, we're able to restore that continuity without doing face lifting surgery.

Now sometimes it makes sense to doing a hybrid approach where you do some lifting and do

structural volumizing.

That's the customization.

But I think there may be an opportunity and although you were pleased with the previous

results with fillers, you might find that the results with structural volumizing where

we place volume at the cheek level, on the bone and create the volume expansion or restoration

of volume loss at the cheek, jawline, chin, jaw angle, you're able to actually restore

a lot of this volume and get the equivalent of like a facelift look without doing a facelift.

Now of course I'm a surgeon and I like doing surgery.

But my main job is of course to help my patients solve their issues in the most productive

way and most effective way and minimize the amount of risk.

So I found that structural volumizing actually has been very helpful for your particular

age group.

For people in their mid-40s, a lot of times, we would've done facelifts years ago.

We're now restoring volume and getting really very good results.

Again, the range of face lifting procedures as well as the range of age still is flexible.

My youngest patient was in her late 30s for a face lifting surgery and my oldest patient

is 87.

So there is certainly a range there but it depends a lot on the genetics of aging and

the environmental and other issues but it comes down to answering the question: how

much of this facial aging appearance is due to volume loss, how much is due to sagging

and descent.

So I suggest that you meet with doctors who perform this type of procedure.

You may want to question that doctor who did the injectable fillers for you and explore

this option before you go in straight into having lifting surgery.

If the doctor who did your injectables also performs facelifts, this is a perfectly good

question to ask, "Am I ready for a facelift?"

And a lot of my patients who are more than willing to have the facelift, I tell them,

"Not quite yet."

It's a matter of getting the best result and doing the best thing at the best time.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

Committed - Duration: 3:18.

Dr. Kane was a doctor in New York City in the early 1900s.

And over the course of his medical career, he had performed more than 4,000 appendectomies.

Removing somebody's appendix. Major surgery.

But in 1921, as he neared the end of his medical career, he wanted to perform one more.

He wanted to perform an appendectomy using

local anesthesia.

In other words, instead of someone being put entirely to sleep during the procedure,

they would be awake.

At that time, nobody had ever used local anesthesia

for a major surgery and, quite frankly, there weren't a whole lot of volunteers

stepping forward for this one. People who were willing to be awake

while a doctor would cut into them

for a major surgery. But finally, one brave soul came forward

to have the anesthesia applied while they would still be awake

and have the surgery performed on them.

And so the procedure went forward.

The patient complained of only just a minor discomfort.

But, for the most part, it was a success.

But that wasn't the most remarkable part of this surgery.

The most remarkable part of this surgery was the identity of the patient.

Because the patient, brave soul who stepped forward to be operated on by Dr. Kane,

was Dr. Kane

himself.

He numbed himself and performed the surgery

on himself,

to prove that it was going to be okay.

He was that committed to what he believed in.

Do you think you would do the same thing?

Would you put your body at such physical risk

if you didn't know for sure how it was going to turn out?

And would you go through that kind of thing if there were no anesthetic to numb the pain?

And would you go through that kind of thing if people who hate you are the ones digging into your skin?

And would you go through that kind of thing if a "successful" procedure,

in the minds of those who are carrying it out, is one in which you end up dead

on a cross-shaped piece of wood right there in front of them?

And would you go through with it if you didn't know for sure that anyone was going to care or appreciate

what you have done? The only reason you would

if you were that committed to what you believed in.

If there was something that you valued in this world even more than your own life.

And Jesus did.

He valued you.

He wanted you more than anything.

He wanted you forgiven and right by his side in eternity, in heaven.

And if he was willing to go through all of that,

the pain of a cross and the whip and the nails,

just to make that happen.

Do you think he's ever going to leave your side

any step of the way through your life?

There's a passage that's often, that's often spoken at graduations

or at times of graduations. It's a very famous one from the book of Philippians.

Philippians chapter 4 verse 13 says,

And you know what that verse is not?

It's not a promise that life is going to go just the way that you want.

It's not even a promise that you really will be able to do everything you set your mind to.

It's just a reminder that through all the ups and downs of life,

whether they're painful or pleasant,

that you're never alone.

That God will always be with you.

And with Jesus walking with you, you really will get through anything.

Do you have any personal stories about how God has gotten you through a difficult time in your life?

We'd love to hear about it and be inspired by your life.

Please share that story in the comments below and we'll see you tomorrow.

4. Travelling through Harecastle Tunnel and tackling Storm Doris on my new Narrowboat - Duration: 5:21.

Once I had my stove installed and was

able to maintain a warm boat, I left

Middlewich, traveling south along the

Trent & Mersey.

Being high up among rolling

countryside, was exactly the type of

scenery I'd been looking forward to.

Now was the time to master operating locks,

with nobody around to see. Along this

stretch they were all single width locks,

of various depths. When single-handed a

lot more effort and time is required, to

navigate through a lock. Instead of just

being able to step off and deal with a

lock, I need two moor up before and after

each one. Ahead of me was Harecastle

Tunnel which is north of Stoke-on-Trent.

You need to agree a time of travel 48

hours beforehand and I booked mine for

8:30 a.m. 72 hours ahead, loads of time

or so I thought.

{Noise of strong wind}

The next day in swept Storm Doris, it was

described as a weather bomb.

I eagerly watched the news and weather

reports and knew I could get 4 locks

under my belt, early in the morning,

before it hit my location. Reports were

coming in that up to 94 mile an hour

winds were causing chaos, directly west

of me in North Wales. Doris was heading

right in my direction. With my empty

brand-new narrowboat sitting very high in

the water, the wind blew across the open

fields, hitting me side on. It was so

strong I couldn't move the boat away

from the canals edge, so I decided to

moor up and wait it out.

The next day I arrived at the north entrance of

Harecastle Tunnel. The one and a half mile

tunnel was once the longest canal tunnel

in Britain. It's only wide enough to

carry traffic in one direction, hence the

requirement for a Canal & River Trust

booking. A staff member needs to be at

each end of the tunnel, to control who

goes in. I was the only boat there so

had my safety briefing and off I went,

trying to show a confident face.

{Crashing noises}

Oh dear, not a good start!

{CRT Employee} Don't worry about it, it's not the worst I've seen and it's not the best I've seen.

In I went and it got cold and damp very

quickly. Having a headlight and a horn

are essential.

I had wired up my light and CRT kindly

lent me in air horn. The fires got to be out,

or very very low. Dogs and children inside, so Molly's

got to stay inside.

If I break down or if there's an engine problem

or diesel runs out,

I've got to give a long blast on the horn,

for every 30 seconds and then they will

reply with three short blasts.

To effectively acknowledge that

they've heard me. If I'm not out of the

tunnel within an hour and a half, then

they send their search teams in. That could

have been, I've had a panic attack or I've

hit my head on the roof, because it does get quite

low. It felt like I was traveling into

the centre of the earth, but eventually I

could see a very small light in the

distance.

Halfway through the tunnel, rusty coloured

mud and water gushed onto my stern, from

what looked like a stream pouring out of

the tunnels wall. I kept on going.

As I got closer to the south exit, the noise

of fans got really loud and then turned

off.

The exit door then swung open and I

could clearly see daylight. I had done it,

and all in 47 minutes. So that was

Harecastle Tunnel, a very very long tunnel,

speck of light in the distance, you could

just about see as you got about a third

of the way through. Lots of water coming

in on the sides, got very low at some

points, I thought it was going to hit the

roof of my boat. But all in all, nothing

to worry about. I then needed to stay put

for a few days, as the storm had caused

a tree to fall across the canal. Apart

from filming things like solar and

boiler installs, which will be in future

videos, I concentrated on getting back to

Nottingham, to fit Alice out. However I

clearly got the NOMAD bug, as within a

few weeks, I got bored and wanted to

travel again. So next time, we pick up my

adventure on the way to

Stratford-upon-Avon. Don't forget to

journey. See you next time.
