Trey Gowdy is DONE — Puts Washington On NOTICE Over Obama Spying!

Surveillance on Americans has come, once again, to the forefront of the public's minds,

thanks largely in part to Donald Trump's accusations against Barack Obama.

Trump notably and publicly accused Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower, and since then, questions

have been flying about government surveillance, and Trey Gowdy is taking action.

Trey Gowdy has threatened to try to put a stop to government surveillance programs,

by refusing the necessary congressional authorization unless officials began answering questions

about who in the intelligence community unmasked certain people.

During Tuesday's House Intelligence Committee hearing, Gowdy grilled CIA Director John Brennan

about the CIA's process for unmasking individuals — revealing the identities of Americans

collected in communications with foreigners, that had been picked up in surveillance by

the government.

"That is a privilege to be able to request that a U.S. person's name be unmasked,"

Gowdy said.

"I want to know who's making the request [and] what is the evidentiary basis of that

request?

And if it's late in your tenure – like the day before you leave office – that should

send off alarms and sirens in your head as to why that person did it."

Gowdy also said that Congress needs to look further into accusations against the Obama

administration of "abusing" unmasking procedures.

Politicians have, so far, been refusing to answer questions about potential unmasking,

and Gowdy is clearly fed up.

"We're not going to reauthorize these surveillance programs if the American people

are not satisfied that their security is going to be safeguarded," he said.

"The unmasking within the intelligence community, that is a privilege to be able to request

that a U.S. person's name be unmasked and I want to know who's making the request,

what is the evidentiary basis of that request."

Snapchat Spectacles Review | First UK Tech Review - Duration: 6:32.

Hi, Kevin and Danny here from Roff & Co

we're here at Playopolis in Rochester to

drink some cocktails, play some games and

talk about snapchat spectacles

Spectacles are glasses with a built-in video

camera that allows you to take up to 10

second video clips and have them

automatically upload over Bluetooth to

your Snapchat account. They're currently

only available in the US and many people

in the UK won't have seen or heard of them.

The release of the spectacles was

particularly interesting in that they

were only available via a vending

machine randomly appearing a town and

disappear after 24 hours this is a great

way of bringing the ephemeral experience

of the app to the real world. So Danny,

we've had our spectacles for a few weeks now

and having to play around them, before we

get to using them, can you just talk us

through setting them up. Yeah s

straight out of the box these are going to

have no charge at all so to charge the

spectacles there's actually a number of

options straight out of the box you

probably want to charge the spectacles

directly you can do that by taking a

charging cable and attaching it to the

port behind the left arm you'll see they

are now charging we actually had an

issue with our pairs in that they weren't

registering as charging when they

actually were we have found a quick fix

for this which I'll link to below the

next option is the case itself this

actually acts as a portable charging

unit this has the capacity to charge

the spectacles four times over as

identified by those four LED lights on

the side there this can be charged same

by attaching the same charging cable

to the port there so as I said the case

actually acts as a portable charging

unit there is a charging port there the

place of spectacles in and they're now

charging whilst on the go so you connect

your spectacles you're first going to on

your bluetooth on and then go to the

snapchat app, look at that there we are

today so we're filming ok swipe down

from now gear icon in the top right hand

corner scroll down until you see spectacles

cool tap on that okay now it's given us

the option to add them so this is where

we need to take them out of our case put

them on right tap add spectacles okay

you see this stack code here we don't

want to press the button and stare at it

for 10 seconds or so. found them

now we're going to name them

just finalizing that now

there you have it you're now ready to

use your snapchat spectacle so the whole Roff team

have been having to play with

these now I've seen some brilliant snaps

from you in nightclubs and bullrings and

ghosts but let us know what you think of

them so the reality of setting them up

was not that intuitive but then that

snapchat the field quality is just as

good as any other pair of sunglasses

I've owned and they'll definitely

withstand day to day use probably

wouldn't fare too well if you found them

but yeah I'm always all good and

sunglasses they're not actually that bad

the only issue I've got them is not

exactly my style what do you think I

think you're glorious I thank you you're

How easy are they to use?

get past the less intuitive stuff

there are simple as well press of a

button

the video quality inside the snapchat

app is well perfectly fine perfectly

viewable it was when we tried to export

that footage to use on other platforms

well it just absolutely murdered the

quality as for audio yeah it picked up

noise a lot of noise a bit too much

noise as Kevin found out yeah I found

when I was recording it would very often

pick up my breathing even when I wasn't

doing anything particular energetic

which wasn't a great look for most of my

videos so before I asked you if you

actually buy these they're not very

well-known in the UK at the moment they

do look a bit strange that flashing

light there's been any kind of weird

reception to you using them I know

you've been like the guy in a nightclub

wearing shades yeah the reception that

has been mixed definitely people have

been looking at me a bit weirdly

probably because the flashing light and

that the indoor wearing of sunglasses I

have spoken to people my own age so

snapchats Prime audience really and

they've all said they either don't see

the point of them or it's a funky gadget

and no more than that they wouldn't use

them day-to-day so would you actually

recommend buying these bearing in mind

that they cost about 130 dollars and

they're not over the UK so you've got to

get them sent over from the states yes I

wouldn't necessarily buy this model of

snapchat spectacles

Gen2 are potential horizon with a lot

more features I possibly will be a

little bit more intuitive for those

coming snapchat I would probably wait to

the generation 2 model to be honest ok

yeah I kind of agree and I kind of

disagree I think all the problems you've

got them I totally agree with those

where I think they'll be quite useful

especially for marketers is it's a good

opportunity to play around with this

perspective to get good at using this

format now before the everyone else

jumps on it with generation 2

so if anybody wants to get out of a pair

of spectacles how can I go about doing

it with great difficulty really as we

said earlier they're only available in

the US so when you buy them from the

website you need to have them delivered

to someone who lives in the US you're

going to Ford them onto you there are

some people selling on eBay but the

prices vary wildly and of course they're

a lot more expensive on there than there

than it would be directly from snapchat

How To Design A Vintage Logo Design With Illustrator - Grunge Effect Illustrator Tutorial - Duration: 10:08.

today I will show you how to design a

vintage logo design with illustrator in

the step-by-step easy-to-follow tutorial

what are the people Friday's here and I

hope you having a great start to your

weekend today a vintage logo design

tutorial in Illustrator

remember if you find this tutorial helpful

like and share this video create a new

document in Illustrator and then turn

your Phil off and activate the stroke

you can use any color doesn't really

matter at this stage grab the pen tool

and make a mountain peak outline like so

once you be connected includes the path

click it over to a fill you select the

mountain peak by clicking the outboard

and then add a different color to

destroy height we're going to make two

shapes I will resemble the snow on the

mountain slope

once you have you two shapes hold down

shift and use a selection tool to click

it at the same time and then flick the

snow shape slip it to a fill you can

then take the direct selection tool to

edit the anchor points of the snow and

mountain adjusting your shape how you

want it to look there's our mountain

shape for a vintage logo design pretty

much complete we need to open up a

Finder window for the next step

again hold on chefs and then select both

of snow shapes with the selection tool

and unite them in the Pathfinder window

they are now essentially on the same

layer and United select the snow in the

mountain and use the - run option in fat

find there which will cut out the snow

from the mountain everything is now one

shape if you want you can use the round

corners effect add to the logo design

select the polygon tool and double-click

the i/o board we want to add six sides

and the other measurements are not so

crucial change the way here to something

you feel looks good for a vintage logo

design now move your mountain icon into

place in a similar position to mine

use a selection tool to say the polygon

and then the outline the stroke like

sale

now you cannot change the way of the

polygon shape

grab the intro and hold down shift to

create a perfectly straight line across

and then continue the path around like

so

let's go three shapes ordinary shift and

then unite them from the Pathfinder

window

now we're going to add some text with

the type tool but you can access by

pressing T on your keyboard the typeface

I'm using is go bold I would suggest a

sans-serif font that is quite bold

change the color of your text to white

and then move into place

you can resize it by holding down shift

and using the selection tool

and we need to grab the star tool and

double-click the outboards use five

points and hit generate you can use the

guide to make sure the star is level

like I am doing here so even if the root

is hit command or ctrl R on a PC what's

your star is in place hold on holding

teaches icon up here and then click and

drag to duplicate it be video to the

side and then you can align them both

long horizontal plane like so

select the text and create outlines of

your type holding shift and select both

dials and the type and then unite them

into the path render window once you've

done that select the newly United shape

and the mounted icon and - from France

in the path under window now we have one

cut out later design the final touch is

going to be to add the vintage style

effect first you can use a direct

selection tool to round off the corners

like so in writing the shape previously

erased around corners effect you can

also go to effect and round corners like

we did before

move the logo aside and create a black

rectangle using the rectangle tool over

the entire boards then lock the dialogue

so when your local design to white and

bring it to the front and then we

evaluated a black background you'll need

to open up the transparency window to

create a vintage effect to our logo

design

right box is selected and hit command V

in place you can hold down alt and shift

at the same time to resize your vector

proportionally once you're happy simply

clip off the transpose you in there you

can keep adding branch vectors over the

top making sure that you add them onto

the right box in the transparency window

you can see here I have two vectors in

place

now I have three in place you can play

around with layering vectors up on your

Lego design you'll also change the color

of your vintage logo design to whatever

you wish I really like this effect and

the fact that it's a vector means you

will be able to be scaled up and down to

any size whilst retaining quality you

can put the grunge effect onto your text

as well

So when I came to Japan, right at the very beginning

I went inside an apartment without taking off my shoes

and got yelled at.

Even though I knew that in Japan you take off your shoes in the "genkan" (entranceway)

I was majorly knackered

and forgot.

Of course I was really embarrassed

and my internal monologue was like "wow I hate me"

But after that I always remembered to remove my shoes in the genkan.

I remembered this important thing

because I made that mistake.

Mistakes aren't bad (...unless you don't learn from them XD;)

Canada and NZ are quite culturally different from Japan

so I think you'll have an amazing experience.
