Philadelphia Symphony Youth Orchestra represent. They're great. My conductor is...
he's an amazing conductor and normally has great control of his baton and can
hold onto it. But for some reason twice-- and this was over the course of many
years...I was sitting in different places in the orchestra--yet twice, he would be
conducting and do this big flourish and the baton would go "phew" and just hit me. This
happened twice. [laugh] Just flung the baton at me. And my brother played in that same
youth orchestra his story is.... I've never had a bow break, but we were in a
concert and his bow just exploded one time. That was..that was cool. I mean, I've
had strings break but that's... well now especially that I do HP that's, you know
every two days, so it doesn't even faze me anymore.

I'm doing give me an open-mindedness quite large and a professional maturity that

The second point is that I'm a martial art teacher. Calm down, let me explain, we're getting into the stereotypes I know!
My grandfather is a grandmaster of the Hung Gar Kung-Fu style, eight dan,
my father's a fifth dan,
so of course it helps a little.

If you don't know what are the "dan", basically,
it's like if the black belt was the high school diploma (GCE A-levels) and the "dan" was the years of studies after that.
But the only small difference is that to have your second dan you have to wait two years,
to have your third dans you have to wait 3 years
and for the fourth dan you need to do wait…
FOUR years RIGHT YOU GOT IT !
It doesn't look like it but it's quite long to reach the eigth dan, knowing that to be black belt already needs seven practice years...

I'm sorry if sometimes we're many in my head especially when there are
fourteen billions of mosquito on your legs,
it can drives mad!
So for the ones who know Lyon, my club is near "Croix-Rousse", it's there that I'm working with
my father since I was a child,
and that I give lessons since I was eleven so of course it helped me a lot for the first point.

that's taking care of my career and that manages all my professional choices in this domain.
I shall admit to you that it enormously pleases me to break the code, the rules
because I hate that from the deepest of my being,
really, since I was little I can't stand that,
I received a great deal of slaps when I started modeling but it really helped me later,
it even became a strength because it helped me to understand this closed world.
What I'm trying to do with my small career
is to show that even at 5 feet 10, even by being small,
by having wide shoulders, by being Eurasian, and by not being in the requirements,
the standards at all, you can still « succeed » but you need to move your ASS and
seriously WORK FOR IT.

The last question that is often asked to me is about my sports practices, so as I explained it about 34 seconds ago, you know
that
I'm a a kung-fu teacher so it leads me to a regular practice of the martial arts, I'm a second degree blackbelt at 19 years old,
and actually you can't be more graded at my age given the fact that the first federal dan you can only get it
at 16 years old if I remember well, yes it's this,
the second dan at 18 and the third one at 21.
So on that side I did a pretty good job,
I think that
it's the only part in my life, at the diplomas level, where I kind of do pretty well!
About weightlifting and fitness I started 4 years ago,
to get ready for the tests of my two year fitness profession course,
at this time it was quite easy, it was just about doing 10 squats with 100% of the body weight on the bar and
and 10 reps of bench presses with 80% of your bodyweight on the bar.
So it was easy but still needed some preparation,
I contacted a personal trainer, who trained me for about two years,
so six months for the tests and then I kept him a year and a half.
That brought me some very good sport bases, as an athlete but also as a coach
because I could see his way of working, and I still thank him very much for all the knowledge he share with me,
and if you watch this video Leo, I'm giving you kisses ahah.
So it's been two years since I'm training alone
and that I'm trying different intensification methods so I'm my own student.
So I think that it's very interesting to have started with this foundations,
to finally little by little come there to fly by your own wings and
experiment your own things on yourself,
I don't know if you see what I mean but
n the end it will help you to know what suits you the best, abd what does not.
what will work on you and maybe not on other people, what will work on other people and not on you…
and like said Bruce Lee "any form of knowledge becomes finally a self knowledge".
As you know it if you follow me I am enormously inspired by Bruce Lee's minsdet
it's through the way of TAO, the way of balance
that I've really found myself mixing Kung-Fu, fitness & weightlifting practice,
that's why I persevere in this way by always trying to share as much as possible my knowledge and passion
for sport to all of my students and my clients.
I really think that you can learn from anyone, no matter where you are, no matter your social position.
The fact of always questioning yourself is a maturity and/or a wisdom proof, you choose.
Thoses values are really essentials to me to be a complete teacher (and Human) and to not lock yourself into the discipline and the precept

A Synopsis Of The Ra Material � The Law Of One Book Series

Just prior my reading the Ra Material: The Law of One five book series several years
ago, synchronistically I came across an exceptionally thorough and well-written synopsis of the
five book series published on the website Wikipedia, which unfortunately is no longer
to be found to this day (reason for its deletion is unknown and unknown).
I found this synopsis to be very helpful as a precursor in my studies of the Law of One
as taught by Ra in this series.
Fast forward to present time, I myself felt drawn to providing such a synopsis for those
fellow seekers that are new to the material to help them feel more grounded with teachings
from the onset.
I hope you find the following synopsis to be supportive and helpful in your future studies.
The RA Material: The Law of One, is a series of five philosophical monographs published
between 1982 and 1998 by Schiffer Books.
In the early eighties these books were authored by a non-human multidimensional being named
Ra through the process of trance channeling, in which Don Elkins acted as the questioner,
Jim McCarty as the scribe and Carla L. Rueckert as the channel for Ra.
The dialogue between Don Elkins and Ra was recorded, transcribed, and edited by Jim McCarty
to produce the five books.
The five book series presents both commentary and full transcripts of the dialogue between
the questioner and Ra, who is described as a being composed of an entire civilization
of extraterrestrial beings that are fused into one unified consciousness (a social memory
complex is a term used by Ra for a unified consciousness group).
The introduction to the first book explains that the questioner is Don Elkins and that
Ra is a higher density being (of higher consciousness).
A sixth density life form of pure energy speaking through the body of trance channeler Carla
L. Rueckert.
Carla L. Rueckert transmitted the material by entering into a non-conscious state (which
the authors refer to as an unconscious trance) where she became a communication channel for
Ra in order for them to communicate to our level of reality (our vibration) and answer
the questions posed by Don Elkins.
The answers were interpreted to be direct communications with Ra, which is in line with
standard views on trance channeling.
The books are written in a question and answer format.
The Law of One is one of twelve universal principles according to a basic principle
that all is One, that all things that exist are ultimately the same essence within many
forms and configurations.
The philosophy of The Law of One describes the big questions of life: why, how and where
everything that exists comes from.
As well as its place within the manifest of Creation.
The five books explore this premise in relation to many aspects of life including philosophy,
religion, spirituality, cosmology, anthropology, history, politics, physics, biology, geology,
and the paranormal.
The dialogues have been cited to some as a convergence of ufology and trance channeling
where a human channeler is aligned with or in resonance with Ra, thus being able to act
as a receiver for the vibrations (higher-wisdom/knowledge) emitted by the 6th density intelligence.
The material describes, that Ra is a highly advanced race of multidimensional extraterrestrials
who once visited ancient Egypt and assisted with the construction of the pyramids.
In these books, Don Elkins, a Ph.D. physicist, university professor, and airline pilot found
the apex of his lifetime of research into the UFO phenomenon through telepathic contact
with extraterrestrial intelligence.
For twenty years he had been working with various gifted individuals who would go into
trance and speak on behalf of this higher intelligence.
And time after time, Dr. Elkins would ask them the most difficult, challenging questions
coming from the forefront of his research into advanced physics, and he would get the
answers.
These answers were repeatedly coming from those who had no knowledge of these things
while conscious.
It was at the end of this twenty-year period that Elkins� work with Carla Rueckert broke
through to a much more substantial level.
This breakthrough was directly precipitated by the arrival of Jim McCarty, who thought
that he was coming to help Don and Carla catalog, categorize and organize the volumes of material
that they had already produced.
Instead, something totally unexpected happened.
They attracted a true master of the higher realms, perhaps the main group responsible
for our care: a huge spiritual group of entities, that called itself Ra, and said that they
were from the sixth density level of spiritual evolution, million and millions of years more
advanced than humans today.
As soon as Ra began speaking they made it clear that this was the first time that they
had been able to get through an undistorted series of messages in thousands of years of
human history.
The words and concepts were highly sophisticated and precise, unlike any other type of channeled
material ever seen, and were referred to by one professor as akin to a Ph.D. dissertation
on epistemology.

The book series articulates a non-dualistic philosophy according to which all things both
spring from and are one with the source of the universe, termed The One Infinite Creator.
Within The Law of One, The Creator is not described as an external entity, as Earthly
religious texts present in order for men to understand.
Instead, The Creator is rather an all-pervasive intelligent energy, that is both within everything
that exists and without, thus the indivisible oneness that the philosophy describes.
Underlying the perception of separation, utilized for learning, is an indivisible oneness.
The Law of One states that this universe, one of many, was created by the One Infinite
Creator�out of itself�by distorting its energy into the parts of existence called
distortions.
The process occurred one distortion at a time, in a specific order.
The first distortion created by the Creator is called Free Will.
The second is Love.
And the third is Light.
All other substance and form come from an interaction of these three distortions.
Akin to a hologram or a fractal, each part of the creation is also the whole.
As Ra uses the word, the distortion of Light can be taken to mean: energy/matter and knowledge/wisdom.
Cosmology:
Ra describes each galaxy as a creation of an intelligence called a Logos.
The Logos creates many sub-Logoi, star systems (ie: stars and planets).
One sub-Logos would be our Sun, for example.
Another would be our planet Earth, another planet Venus, Jupiter and so on and so forth.
The sub-Logoi, in turn, create sub-sub-Logoi.
Human beings are an example of sub-sub-Logoi.
Each Logos, sub-Logos, and sub-sub-Logos is a microcosm of the Creator.
The Logos created seven levels of progression for spiritual evolution and Ra has called
each of these levels a density.
Even more importantly, this cosmology is not simply in the realm of lofty speculation � for
all intents and purposes, Ra was systematically teaching Dr. Elkins about a whole new form
of physics, a new form of understanding the way that the Universe functions, rooted in
compassion, harmony, and wisdom.
Densities:
Commentators have interpreted densities in a variety of ways.
Some have described it as a dimension, as in a higher dimension of experiential reality.
A density differs markedly from the Cartesian notion of dimension.
According to Ra different densities are associated with different levels/forms of consciousness
and different phenomenological ways of being.
The first density is the density of the elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire) (In scientific terms:
solids, liquids, gases, and plasma).
The second density is the density of organic life: plants, animals, bacteria, etc.
The third density is the density which human beings inhabit.
It is the density of self-awareness.
It is also the density of duality, through which the individual chooses their polarity
of service.
The fourth density is the density of love or understanding.
And like all subsequent densities, the density of love is inhabited by mind/body/spirit complexes
of a higher level of spiritual evolution than human beings on present day Earth.
The fifth density is the density of light or wisdom.
Wherein long and deep contemplation and introspection are practiced so that one�s own wisdom may
spring forth and the entity may become refined to an even higher degree.
The sixth density is the density of unity consciousness, where love and wisdom are united
and where all other polarities are united.
In Earth history, sixth density is the density that archangels come from, as described in
various texts.
The seventh density is the gateway density, the last density before mind/body/spirit complexes
merge back into the Creator.
The eighth density is the beginning of the next octave.
Where the journey begins again.
Ra tells us that humans are composed of a mind, a body, and a spirit, and therefore
would refer to an individual human as a mind/body/spirit complex.
Ra says that humans, along with the Earth, are going through a process called harvest.
This included statements that there are many other living beings in the universe that are
similar to humans but differ in the body, intelligence, culture, and spiritual evolution.
These beings, like humans, are referred to as mind/body/spirit complexes.
Ra describes that individuals from other densities have incarnated on Earth to contribute to
the harvest.
Ra expressed that all mind/body/spirit complexes, after being formed in third density, progress
upward through the densities as they evolve spiritually until they become one with the
Creator at the end of seventh density.
This evolution is accomplished through incarnation into a body.
Many times, until the soul has completed the lessons relevant to each density.
Incarnation only occurs within 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th density.
A physical body is no longer necessary beyond the end of 4th density.
From 5th density and beyond, the body is purely energetic in nature.
In order to progress from third density to fourth density, individuals must make a choice
between two polarities of service.
Service to others or service to self: or in ordinary language, between altruism and selfishness.
The purpose of third density is to make this choice.
The purpose of experiencing the sometimes harsh environment of 3rd density, no matter
which location in the universe, is for each soul to make this choice of service and thus
progress.
As entities evolve, they progressively balance and unblock their energy centers which directly
correspond to the chakras.
The Law of One series includes an extensive discussion of these energy centers.
Each energy center is associated with a color and a corresponding Hindu chakra:
Muladhara is called red-ray.
Svadhisthana is called orange-ray.
Manipura is called yellow-ray.
Anahata is called green-ray.
Vishuddhi is called blue-ray.
Ajna is called indigo-ray.
Sahasrara is called violet-ray Additionally to this, humanity and the Earth
are undergoing a transition from third density to fourth density.
This transition is linked to a process called harvest.
This involves a quantum leap within our physical reality, said to occur approximately 30 years
from the time of the 1981 Ra dialogues.
One of the dialogues mentions a general time frame of 100 to 700 years for transition on
Earth from third density to fourth density.
Moral choices are discussed through the concept of polarity.
Ra explains that there are two polarities: service to self, and service to others.
These two polarities approximately relate to the everyday concepts known as light and
dark, evil and good, or selfishness and altruism.
Service to Others is described in terms of an energy center configuration where the green-ray
center radiates out toward other beings.
This results in compassion, love feelings, and acts of service toward others.
Service to Self is described in terms of an energy center configuration where the green-ray
center is pointed mainly inward.
This energy center configuration causes the entity to feel love for itself, but not for
others.
These feelings lead to self-serving intentions and actions, or service to self.
Ra views the Earth as a living being that has a mind, free will, and grows over time
both physically and spiritually.
He explains that the Earth is currently in the process of changing from third density
to a fourth-density planet.
Tarot & Archetypal Mind:
A big part of the series covers the (intuitive) study of the local Logos� archetypes, which
are highly reminiscent of the work of Carl Jung.
Ra states the Tarot system originates from Ra�s home planet, Venus, when Ra�s civilization
was at 3rd density level, long ago, and that the Major Arcana of the Tarot was used as
a general referent and means of studying one�s own progress.
Originally, the Major Arcana was just a conglomerate of archetypal images that were supposed to
be memorized.
It is only later, when introduced to Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations, that the Tarot
system came to get settled into the card format it is today.
The Archetypes are divided into three groups (1.
Mind 2.
Body 3.
Spirit) of seven with the twenty second archetype being the same as the zeroth, which Ra names
The Choice.
Influence:
The book series centers around the harvest, which is described as a major spiritual and
physical change that will occur on Earth around the year 2011.
Consider year of channeling session where Harvest is mentioned whilst adding thirty
years as mentioned in session #6 of the book series (shown below).

The harvest was one of the earliest mentions in modern times relating to the eschatological
2012 phenomenon.
The Law of One book series has influenced many published authors, in various fields.
New York Times bestselling author David Wilcock has cited in his books and lectures the Ra
Material: Law of One book series as seminal in the formation of his understanding of the
nature of reality as well as the cause and drive for higher understanding.
The Law of One has been described as the most widely cited set of channeled materials and
it has been influential in the development of spiritual concepts such as polarity, spiritual
evolution through densities, and wanderers.

White House chief of staff Reince Priebus said Sunday that President Trump "absolutely"
did not accept Russian President Vladimir Putin's denial that Moscow did not meddle
in last year's presidential election, despite the Kremlin's assertions that Trump was convinced.
"No that is not true.
The president absolutely did not believe the denial of President Putin," Priebus told host
Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday."
The White House official stressed that Trump "immediately" addressed the allegations that
Russia interfered.
Priebus said Trump pushed the issue for a significant portion of their meeting, bringing
up the topic more than once.
"[He] went after that issue at least two separate times.
This was not just a five-minute piece of the conversation, this was an extensive portion
of the meeting.
And after going after it with President Putin more than once � two times maybe even three
times � the president at that point, after spending a large portion of the meeting on
the subject, moved on to other topics," Priebus told Wallace.
The New York Times reported Saturday that Trump pushed Putin on the subject for 40 minutes
during a meeting that lasted over two hours.

So, who cleans up after superheroes and their arch-villains have their mega-destructive

project never really made it off the ground.
So, while we may never see a Marvel sitcom a la DC's failed Powerless, Damage Control

Peter Parker's school has its own TV news program, starring none other than Marvel mainstay
Betty Brant.
Betty first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #4, way back in 1963, as newspaper mogul J.

We saw it in Civil War's post-credits scene, but we see it again when Peter's tinkering
with his suit's devices in Homecoming.
Comic fans all felt a weird tingle when Peter briefly projected a Spider-Man logo onto the
wall, bringing back comic memories of Spider-Man's most hilariously useless device.
Contrary to Batman's awesome Bat-signal, which summons the Dark Knight from great distances,
Spider-Man's Spider-Signal doesn't do much more than announce his arrival to criminals,
and occasionally act as a flashlight.
Not every idea from the early days of Spider-Man was a good one.
Those armpit-webs, on the other hand, will always be pure comic book gold.
Summon the Sinister Six
The appearance of Adrian Toomes, aka Vulture, definitely isn't an Easter egg, but it probably
takes a real comic fan to spot some of Spidey's other legendary foes.
While the Sinister Six has taken many forms over the years, the elderly Vulture has usually
been a core member.
Also pretty prominent in Homecoming is Shocker, who seems to be whoever's wearing an alien-tech-enhanced
glove.
But the reference to the comics' Shocker goes twofold when those same guys are seen wearing
the same distinctive, yellow quilted fabric that the comic villain wears.
"Shockeeeeeeerrrrrrrr!"
"You can't escape me!"
You'll also find Mac Gargan, aka Scorpion, played by Michael Mando.
In contrast to Homecoming's Gargan, comic book Gargan started out as an investigative
reporter whose life is messed up by the experimental process that gives him a giant, mechanical
scorpion tail.
If there was any doubt about these two Gargans being related, there's also that giant Scorpion
tattoo on big-screen Gargan's neck, too.
We also get a whole lot of Hobgoblin, and sorry to say, it's Peter Parker's biggest
fan and best friend, Ned.
While his full name is never given, Ned's last name has been given as 'Leeds' in a few
different publications.
Ned Leeds becomes one of at least seven different Hobgoblins after being brainwashed by the
original Hobgoblin, Roderick Kingsley, to take his place.
Let's say that things don't end well.
The Howling Commando legacy
If you think you're seeing a familiar face at Peter Parker's school, it's because actor
Kenneth Choi is playing his own grandson.
Way back in Captain America: The First Avenger, Choi played Jim Morita, a member of Cap's
Howling Commandos, a legendary group of Marvel Comics soldiers originally operating under
Nick Fury.
Choi returned in Homecoming to play Principal Morita, a guy obviously very proud of his
grandpa, given the photo of Jim that can be spotted in his office.
Morita Jr. Jr.'s love of history also possibly explains his affection for those terrible
Captain America instructional videos.
And speaking of cameos in photos around the school, the Incredible Hulk himself, Bruce
Banner, appears in one of the many posters of great scientists featured around the science
classroom.
And who's that on the school mural?
Howard Stark himself.
Spider-Man 2.0
Fans of Donald Glover know that he kind of campaigned to play Spider-Man in a big-screen
adaptation of the comic books.
"And then someone put a big picture of me in the comments and was like, 'Donald Glover
could play Spider-Man!
He's nerdy!'"
His interest in the role prompted Spider-scribe Brian Michael Bendis to create a new Spider-Man
inspired by Glover named Miles Morales.
And while Glover never made it to the big screen as Spidey, he did voice the character
of Miles Morales on the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series in 2015.
Glover returned to the Spidey-verse in Homecoming as Aaron Davis, a career criminal with the
alias of "Prowler," according to Spider-Man's files.
Sure, Marvel's main Prowler is some guy named Hobie, but in the Ultimate Universe, it's
a guy named Aaron Davis.
His nephew?
A guy named Miles Morales, the very same nephew that Prowler refers to during his parking
garage confrontation with Spider-Man.
And if that wasn't confirmation enough, check out his license plate: UCS-M01, which is short
for Ultimate Comics, Spider-Man #1.
Karen
Once Spider-Man has accessed his suit's full capabilities, he's treated to a very JARVIS-like
computer which is able to cater to his every need, which he names Karen.
Avengers fans know that within the MCU, JARVIS is Tony Stark's personal computer, which then
merged with a robot body, becoming Vision.
Along the way, JARVIS was always played by Paul Bettany, even as the Infinity Stone-wielding
Vision.
In real life, Bettany is married to Jennifer Connelly, who plays the voice of Karen in
Homecoming, keeping the pair of companion computer programs as close as the people who
actually play them.
True to the page
One of Spidey's most memorable scenes came in Amazing Spider-Man #33.
The comic's cover spells out Spidey's peril pretty clearly, and it's nearly identical
to the scene in Homecoming when Vulture causes the roof to cave in on Parker.
For five pages, Spider-Man struggles under wet rubble, thinking of his responsibilities
as the wall-crawler… and that gives him the strength to set himself free.
It's pretty much comic book perfect.
Credits due
Blink and you'll miss it among the countless scrawls of graffiti decorating Peter Parker's
New York City, but eagle-eyed viewers have spotted the word 'Bagley' emblazoned amid
the colorful chaos.
Mark Bagley is noted in the Marvel Comics universe for being a huge contributor to Spider-Man,
co-creating the villain Carnage, and illustrating Venom's early turn as an anti-hero in the
Venom: Lethal Protector miniseries, so his quick mention is no mistake.
And casual comic fans might be left wondering why Jack Kirby is given any credit at all
for Spider-Man during the film's credits sequence, since Spidey is one of the few 1960s comic
characters that Kirby was never really associated with.
Comics history reveals that Kirby and Lee sat down together to come up with Spider-Man,
and Kirby even drew the first batch of pages for the hero, using his own designs, before
Lee rejected the concept and changed it a bit to fit his own vision.
Kirby ended up pencilling just the covers of Spidey's debut in Amazing Fantasy #15 as
well as Amazing Spider-Man #1, before moving on to other projects, but his impact on Spider-Man
being acknowledged by Marvel is a pretty big deal.

and very few people from the surface have enough awareness of the RM to hear that telepathic
contact.

Breakfast Foods You Should Avoid At All Costs - Duration: 5:37.
What you eat for breakfast sets the tone for the rest of your day.
But we live in a world with lots of options — so how do we know we're really nailing
the "so called most important meal of the day"?
Here are the breakfast foods to pass on, in favor of optimal health!
Smoothies
They may seem like a great choice, because they're loaded with lots of fruit, but, according
to the British Heart Foundation, smoothies might also pack more sugar than you think.
The foundation claims,
"If you blend fruit, the natural sugars are released from within the cell walls of the
fruit and become free sugars.
Free sugars include any added sugars (including honey and maple syrup) and are the kind we
should all be cutting down on to protect our teeth [and] maintain a healthy weight."
But there's another bummer: breakfast in liquid form may not satisfy your hunger.
A study from Purdue University found a distinct difference in the feeling of fullness between
solid and liquid foods.
Despite all the fruits and veggies blended in your smoothie, you may find yourself reaching
for more snacks to satisfy that hunger.
Cereal
The cereal aisle is filled with plenty of options to fill your bowl, but don't be fooled
by that super fun packaging.
Scientists and doctors warn of the consequences of a diet high in sugar, and one major sugar-bomb
is cereal.
Authority Nutrition reports,
"Starting the day with a high-sugar breakfast cereal will spike your blood sugar and insulin
levels.
A few hours later, your blood sugar may crash, and your body will crave another high-carb
meal or snack, thus creating a vicious cycle of overeating."
The nutrition site points out that even though brands boast health benefits, sugar is a leading
ingredient in this processed food.
To avoid a Froot Loop fail, skip this aisle completely.
Instant oatmeal
Pre-mixed oatmeal seems like a healthy option.
But, just like cereal, these packets are often loaded with sugar — and even the pre-portioned
oats have lost valuable nutrition.
According to Prevention, the oats in these packets "are highly processed and lower in
fiber than rolled or steel cut oats."
Like cereal, these packets will leave you wanting more, after the unavoidable sugar
crash.
You may even find yourself reaching for snacks by mid-morning to ward off those pesky hunger
pangs.
Granola
The New York Times reports that granola products are a billion dollar industry.
But, don't let those dollar signs fool you into thinking that granola's a great choice.
Some granolas can actually contain more sugar than a donut or a cup of ice cream.
As nutritionist Andy Bellatti, told the Times, "At its most basic level, granola is just
super sweet, crunchy oatmeal.
Apart from some specialty brands, you can't find unsweetened granola."
Bagels
Perhaps nothing says breakfast more than a bagel.
That dense, chewy dough may seem like a great option, but the sad truth is that bagels contain
little nutritional value and your body processes whatever's left, as sugar.
SFGate breaks down the facts, saying, "A 6-inch bagel contains 66 grams of carbohydrates and
almost no fiber, protein, or fat."
So give this dough a hard no.
Donuts
Donuts are definitely having their moment, but this sugary treat won't do you any favors
for breakfast.
Donuts are loaded with sugar, and are also packed with with trans fat, and another sneaky
additive: sodium.
According to SFGate,
"A package of mini donuts contains between 250 and 360 milligrams of sodium, depending
on what flavor you've chosen."
Too much salt in your system will cause your body to retain fluids, creating extra stress
on your heart.
Do your body a favor and grab an apple instead.
Muffins
Breakfast in the shape of dessert?
Not your best bet.
Muffins are basically twinning with cupcakes, and are loaded with sugar and fat.
The American Institute for Cancer Research offers some real numbers, reporting,
"Most [muffins] contain from 11 to 27 grams of total fat.
Of that total, 2 to 8 grams are saturated fat."
Grabbing a muffin at your local Starbucks seems like a great on-the-go option, but it
will only lead to sugar crashes and eventually, your very own muffin top.
Bacon and sausage
If you want to avoid the sugar bonanza packed into so many common breakfast foods, it might
make sense to go savory, with something like sausage or bacon.
"MMMMM IT'S BAAACOOONNNN!"
Sadly, most breakfast meats are highly processed and are not heart-healthy options.
Authority Nutrition reported that
"Harvard researchers have found that every 1.8 ounces of processed meat you eat per day
raises your heart disease risk by 42 percent."
...due to excessive amounts of sodium.
Processed meats have also been linked to high blood pressure and cancer.
Bye, bye breakfast sausage.
Alternative eating
So what can you eat for breakfast?
Don't worry, you've got great options.
If you love cereal or prepackaged oatmeal, replace that with steel cut oatmeal.
Steel cut oats are packed with B-vitamins, calcium, protein, and fiber.
Just add your favorite toppings for even more nutrients.
Greek yogurt is another great option that will leave you feeling satisfied.
And if you need a sweet fix in the AM, fruit can satisfy your craving.
If you want to amp up your protein intake, eggs are the perfect option, and you can cook
them up in a variety of different ways.
Eating the right foods in the morning will nourish you throughout your day, and ultimately,
your life.

If you doubt people would put a ton of energy into doing weird stuff, you've clearly never
met another person.
When there's something we can make unnecessarily complicated, we do it.
And when it comes to where we live, we can get a bit crazy.
As a result, there are a bunch of fascinating houses out there that are bizarre, beautiful,
and sometimes kind of genius.
Heliodome
Shaped like a diamond the size of a UFO, the Heliodome in Strasbourg, France may look strange,
but it has a pretty cool purpose: it's designed to get maximum power from the Sun.
The angle of the house is placed specifically to keep it cool in the summer and warm in
the winter.
Sure, it might seem like you're living in Leonardo DiCaprio's totem from Inception,
but your electric bills will be a dream.
Coral Castle
Florida's Coral Castle is something of an ongoing mystery.
Ed Leedskalnin began building the castle from slabs of rock in the '40s and kept at it for
28 years.
By the end, he'd fashioned a straight-up castle with a 40-foot obelisk, a sculpture garden,
and a 9-ton gate that could be swung open like a regular door.
How Leedskalnin managed to do this all himself with no modern construction equipment has
piqued visitors' interest for years.
According to the stories, Leedskalnin worked alone and only at night.
No one ever saw how he built any of it.
When asked, he said he was using the technique Egyptians used to build the pyramids.
Crazy or not, the guy built one heck of a house.
World's largest treehouse
When you hear "World's largest treehouse", it sounds like faint praise.
But this isn't some kids' hideaway in the backyard.
This house is amazing.
It's supported by six trees and has 80 rooms, a church, and a basketball hoop.
Horace Burgess, a minister, built the house himself over the course of 14 years for only
$12,000.
Why bother building such a huge tree home?
Well, God told him to.
That's a pretty hard guy to say no to.
The house attracted visitors for years, but the fun ended in 2012, when the house was
closed off due to fire code violations.
Guess the Tennessee Building and Safety department didn't get God's memo.
Nautica House
If you've always wanted to start a new life under the sea, but have pesky, human, non–water-breathing
lungs, you may finally have an option.
Javier Senosiain built a giant seashell house in Mexico City in 2006.
The house is all spirals and smooth surfaces, so you really get that authentic seashell
feel inside and out.
Also, the windows are made of colorful mosaics of glass.
That really has nothing to do with shells, but it does look pretty cool.
Quetzalcoatl's Nest
Javier Senosiain, the architect behind the seashell house, also created Quetzalcoatl's
Nest, an apartment complex that looks like a giant snake.
Up among the hills and caves of Naucalpan, Mexico, the snake twists its way through the
land to give people a one of a kind living experience.
One of the apartments is also on AirBnB, so you could live right in the snake's belly
and live to tell the tale.
Plastic bottle house
Ever wanted to see what a sofa made out of Coke cans and old CD cases feels like?
Head down to Argentina, because everything in this home is 100-percent re-used garbage.
Alfredo Santa Cruz built his home out of discarded plastic bottles and other trash, with the
products ingeniously arranged in a way to be both practical and pretty.
Tours are allowed in the bottle house, so you can see firsthand the limitless potential
of trash.
Smith Mansion
In the middle of isolated Wapiti Valley, Wyoming, sits Smith Mansion.
Lee Smith started building this intricate wooden home for his wife and kids...and he
never quite finished.
He kept going, adding floors and balconies with logs he collected in the valley, until
he fell to his death while working on the roof alone.
Since then, the mansion has stayed empty, an abandoned monument to one man's frenzied
obsession.
Mushroom House
At the end of the block on a very average street in Cincinnati stands...this house.
Terry Brown started building it in 1992 by adding onto his one-bedroom home.
Brown worked for 14 years to create his twisted fairy tale vision, but unfortunately only
got a chance to enjoy his work for two years before he died in 2008.
The house was put up for sale in 2012, but the listing was removed the same year, so
who knows — someone may be living in the mushroom today.
Just don't tell Gargamel.

How To Make Your Car Shine Like New After Coachella Weekend! - KIA - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 13:51.
What's up guys, welcome back to the Detail Garage
and oh my God we have a treat for you today!
This is a KIA that has been completely thrashed.
Over the weekend my buddy to this to Coachella.
It got covered dirt, grime, mud, bird droppings, tree sap and paint imperfections.
Today I'm going to show you the proper techniques and procedures to prevent installing new scratches
and swirls while enhancing that black shine.
To get started we're going to get the dirtiest area and that is the wheels.
This car was parked in the mud so there is all kinds of filth stuck in the wheel wells.
There is also brake dust and grime that we need to remove so that we can bring back that
factory shine.
Then we will move on to the body using our brand new Citrus Wash Clear.
It'll foam up to safely emulsify dirt and debris to prevent scratching.
So lets get started.
Like I mentioned we are going to start with the dirtiest area, it is obviously the wheels.
This car tracked through mud, dirt and all kinds of good stuff that dulls the paint work.
To avoid harming the paint we are going to hose it down and then using Sticky Citrus
Wheel Gel to loosen the stubborn grime.
Before we start washing we'll place a Dirt Trap in each bucket.
Inserting them at an angle prevents air getting trapped underneath them.
Press them all the way to the bottom to create a seal the prevents dirt from rising back
to the top.
I have one bucket for soap and one bucket for rinsing.
We are going to add one ounce of soap to our wash bucket, just squirt it right into the
bucket.
I will also fill the Foam Cannon while we're here.
Just reattach the top, before we start our wash lets rinse off the vehicle to knock down
the heavier loose dirt and then we can start foaming.
Alrighty guys now that the car has been foamed up lets take the wash mitt and start scrubbing.
We're going to work in straight lines picking off all that loose dirt and debris and anything
that can stain and harm the paint.
We'll go to the roof and working in straight lines coming down.
The reason we start at the top is because this is where all the heavier dirt and grime
is but if we brought this into areas that we've already cleaned it would be counterproductive.
Since this car was so dirty we are going to periodically visit the rinse bucket to purge
the mitt of all the filth so we won't scratch as we wash.
Black paint shows every imperfection.
Just scrubbing it against the Dirt Trap this way we release all the grime underneath the
cones.
Taking it outside the bucket to wring it out on the ground to prevent this from coming
back on to the car.
Going back to the fresh water bucket to grab some soap and we can keep on washing.
As you guys saw this car was pretty thrashed which means the owner must have had a really
good time in Coachella.
He told us he partied with Mac Miller, DJ Khaled, Migos and all that good stuff a lot
of adult things were happening.
We're going to make sure he remembers the good times and not the bad filthy times.
We'll get this car looking its best.
We're moving right along with the detail on this KIA.
After washing it with Citrus Clear, which did an amazing job of pulling off the surface
debris, we noticed that the paint feels pretty rough.
There are still water spots and embedded impurities so now we're going to clay it then I'm going
to break the hood in half and polish one side then glaze the other.
Using the Clay Block and Clay Luber to spray down the surface as well as the Block working
back and forth to remove the junk.
At first it is going to sound rough or the Block will drag but that means it is taking
off the grime and embedded contamination.
The more your work it the more it will pull out and then the surface will get smooth and
quiet and that's when you move on.
So we've just finished claying the hood and it is now nice and smooth so we can move to
the polishing process.
As I mentioned this car has water spots, scratches and swirls which aren't too deep there is
a lot of micro scratching which adds up to a lot of big scratches.
I've set up a TORQ 10FX with a Green Hex-Logic Pad to refine the paint.
Also using V36 which is a cutting polish that will break down to rejuvenate the paint and
restore a high shine.
We'll apply five dime size drops to the pad.
On the lowest speed setting we'll spread it out then on the highest speed we will polish.
Also we'll spray it with Pad Conditioner since this is a new pad, this will reduce friction
to prevent marring to give us the best results.
We'll start in a small section here at the top, just dabbing it out before we spread
it on speed setting one and then we will be ready to polish.
As I mentioned before I'm polishing one side and glazing the other.
Now we're using a Black Finishing Pad for applying glaze, sealant and wax.
Make sure it is as centered as possible and using Black Light which is designed specifically
for black and dark color cars to enhance the shine while filling in minor scratches and
swirls for the perfect finish.
Again we'll apply five dime size drops to the pad and work it over that half of the
hood on the slowest speed setting.
You can see it has made a huge difference just by applying a glaze but polishing is
definitely the way to go.
Polishing removes a very fine later of the clear coat to reveal fresh paint which has
revealed that deep black shine.
This process can be repeated over the entire vehicle, in the meantime we need to hop on
the interior because it is filthy.
You guys just sit back and enjoy.
As I had mentioned we are going to move on to the interior using Total Interior to wipe
down the plastics, vinyl, navigation screens and glass.
To finish off the interior we need to clean the carpets because as you can see there is
tons of grass, mud and filth.
This guy was partying hard at Coachella and this car smells like beer, weed and there
is just a mess in here so we're going to clean it up and also freshen the air in there.
Then we will return this car as a happy, clean and new KIA.
Alright guys we're at the end of the detail on this KIA.
Starting off with a wash using Citrus Wash Clear to remove all the surface filth without
scratching.
Then we gave it a clay bar treatment because the paint felt super rough due to all the
contamination that was stuck in the pores of the paint which prepared it for polishing.
Polishing removes a very fine layer of the clear coat to reveal fresh paint and then
we topped it with Black Light.
Moving on to the interior, you saw that it had debris, grass and mud all over.
So wiping it down with Total Interior cleaned it and protected it.
Lastly we vacuumed it to make it look factory fresh.
Our final step is to flush the A/C because the car still has a lingering odor.
Using Stripper Scent we'll lightly mist it on the carpet as well as on the seats.
To flush the A/C we'll turn it on recirculate on MAX cold and spray right here in the foot
wheel because this is the pick up area for recirculating air to bring it through the
vents.
