Thanks to them !
Hello YouTube, welcome to this new video !
Today I'm glad to be able to show you the target system from XCortech, the XTS105
"XTS105", it's not a name easy to remember I think, it's a bit hard to remember the name of XCortech products
Guys from XCortech if you hear me, please find names for your products, if would be easier for us to remember them !
That being said, the XTS105 is a whole kit, made of 12 different targets
Over here we have 11 targets which have been installed already, I have the 12th just here so I can show it to you easily
If the camera wants to make the focus...
We have a brown box here with an aluminum shell on it
Here we have the target itself, a circular one which diameter is about 5 cm
Here we have a little diode, which lights the target mostly with green, but also red and blue
We have a little speaker here allowing the target to make some sound
And in the back we have 2 ethernet ports, which are being used to connect all the targets together
The targets also have rubber pads so they don't move when they are posed on a plane surface
And here we have a kodak thread, so you can mount it on a camera tripod
Here I have 2 targets on 2 tripods, on the left and on the right
We have the targets, we have this screen here which shows you the score when you're playing a game
Then you have this control box, which you can use to choose the game, launch a game, etc
And you have also this big red button which you can use to launch a game
So, first I'm going to show you all the games you can play with this system
Then at the end of the video, I'll show you how the system is installed
When you receive the system, all the parts are individually wrapped and it's a bit confusing at first
But we'll see it's not really complicated
We'll see in the end of the video though, it's a bit boring and I guess what you want to see is the games
Here are all the games, we have "shot timer", "whack a mole", "rescue" and "compete"
"Demo dance" is just some kind of decoration, I can show you
It can be used to check if all the targets are functioning correctly, we can see all the different colors (red, green, blue)
I'll select now the first game, "shot timer"
Very simple : all the targets are activated and you have to shoot them all as fast as possible
I'll let the box here, I'll use the big red button with my foot to launch the game
I'll use here my SR47 Bolt Airsoft
I push the button
All the targets are activated, and you can see the time running on the screen
Finish, time 14:41
I'll try to go a bit faster
Time 8.05, a bit better
What I showed you here is a single round
We'll try "round 2" now, which means you'll have 2 cycles of the game
With "round 1" I need to hit each target 1 time ; with "round 2" I need to hit each target 2 times
Time 13.92
I had 2 cycles for the game, but you can put up to 30 cycles I think
Yeah, the maximum is 30 cycles
So this what "shot timer", now we'll do "whack a mole"
It's a bit the same, but each target will be activated randomly
We can see "level 1" and "round 1", which means a single cycle with the difficulty set to 1/15 (the easiest mode)
I'll show you this way
Time 10.3, hit 11, score 1000 (1000 is the maximum you can get for each game, except for the shot timer which do not give you a score)
It was quite easy since it's the easiest difficulty, now I'll show you the hardest
It was level 1, now let's try level 15
In this mode, if I don't shoot the targets fast enough, they deactivate themselve and it will count as a miss
I'll try my best but it will be very hard
It's really fast ! 7.69 sec, I have only hit 2 targets according to the game
I'll try another time
Time 8.8, I hit 5 targets, a bit better
It's really hard, I'd like to try a bit less difficult (level 10)
9.22, hit 11, much easier !
This was the mode "whack a mole", now let's try "rescue", which I think is my favorite game
We have "level" and "round" like before, but we also have "hostage", in this mode, you need to not shoot the red targets
So level 8/15, 1 round and 4 hostages ; I'll do 2 rounds so it lasts a bit longer
For this game I'll use another gun, the MP5 "Apache" GBBR from WE, with the XCortech XT501 MK2 full auto tracer I showed before on my channel
Let's go !
I have hit 18 targets, miss none, hit no "bad" target (the targets I wasn't supposed to hit)
I'll try again and shoot some red targets to show you
18 hits, 0 miss, 2 bad
Hitting bad targets give you a much lower score
So this was the "rescue", and we also have the mode "compete"
It's a bit like "whack a mole", but with only one target at the time
Now I'll use a pistol, here my Tokyo Marui USP Compact with Surefire 400 GN, with its beautiful green laser
14.47, hit 11, miss 0
This was level 10 with a single round
I'll put 2 cycles so it lasts a bit longer
And I'll turn off the lights so we can see how it looks like in the dark
Time 29.73, hit 22, miss 0
So as promised in the begining of the video, now I'll show you how the targets are installed
In the begining all parts are wrapped individually, first you have to put them somewhere in the configuration you want
You have the multi socket here with the power supply connected to this part
You can see here a T deans connector, maybe you can use a battery to use the system, I'm not sure
One wire goes to the LED display and another one goes to a first target
In the back of the target we can see 2 ethernet ports
This first target is connected to the 2nd target, which is connected to the 3rd target, etc
Every targets are connected to each other
Most targets are simply put on the shelf, but with serflex you can put them differently
This one is upside down, yet it works
This one is on the side, it works as well
Also note the targets on the tripod
All 11 targets are connected to each other, and the 11th target here is connected to the control box
And connected to the control box, you also have the red bu tton
On the control box, you have "game" and then you have "auto addr"
All the targets are up and lighted with a red light, the box asks me which one is the first target
So I'll go to the 1st target and I push a thin button on the back ; now it's green
I do that for each target
The box asks me for the 12th target, but I have 11 installed already so I can stop here
Save ? Yes
Now if I choose a game (for example compet) and I launch a game, it should work
It works
Etc etc, now I can play the games
So here it is, I think we saw pretty much everything you can do with this
I really like this system, because it's interactive and varied
I tried a few systems like this, the Cybergun system with the round metal targets illuminated in the center
I tried the G&G system, with the big color balls
And now I tried the XCortech system
I think the XCortech system is the funniest to use, even if it's obviously only a personal feeling
I like the metal sound it makes when you hit a target, I like the fact that the targets get down and can automatically get up again
It's something you don't have with, for example, the G&G targets which "only" change color
What else can I say... So yeah, obviously there is a big problem with this system : it's very expensive
Here we have the complete XTS105 system, it cost 1200 USD in Asian shops
It's a quite high price obviously, for a regular guy it's probably way too much
Maybe you make a lot of money and you'll consider buying a system like this for your own use
However, if you're a team, a shop or something and you're ready to put some money for a system like this
It can be a lot of fun, and it's a different way to enjoy using your airsoft guns, different from the usual airsoft game in the woods
If you have the opportunity don't hesitate to try !
Here it is, I think I said everything I had to say about this system, the "XTS105" from XCortech
Thanks to XCortech for letting me try this system, which I find really amusing
If you have any question don't hesitate to ask in the comments, I'll try to answer it as best as I can
Thanks for watching and see you next time for a new video !
