Preparing for our Tour in Brazil - Rapalje Show 18 - Duration: 10:12.

Welcome to another Rapalje Show and this time we're going to

prepare to go to Brazil on tour

Also in this video: We take you backstage at an opening of a show

from our concert at a theater from Folk and Roll Journey

And like in the last Rapalje shows we have another piece of interview from

Sean Cannon from the Dublin Legends

I dreamed the wind came to my house

These are the words fell from his mouth

"The king you seek, you'll find him true

But only if he rides the road with you"

Further up, further in

Further up, ...

Oh, yes, I really need to shave

I stepped aboard a ship that flew

It took me wherever it wanted to

So we go to Brazil and in the end of the video you can see

where we go in Brazil and you can also check our homepage

rapalje.com/agenda

which concerts we are going to perform at in Brazil next week

but before we can go to Brazil

we have to prepare. One of the first and most important things

when we travel to a Brazil

is that we all got our passport

Before, we had an ID card

for traveling in Europe and you can see

I now own a passport

With a picture where I am nicely shaved

we travel to Brazil by plane,

but we also have stopover at Dallas in America

so we need an authorization

to come to America and go to Brazil

again

we also need our vaccination, and we got this little booklet for that.

We special need the vaccination for yellow fever

So we're allowed to travel to Brazil

and also not get ill

In the next video you will see us getting our vaccination shots

and we had a lot of fun

Futher up, Furter in

We also bring presents

to Brazil. This is a present for Ana Mota

for the help for the presentations and for her translations for the subtitles

and for Palloma we've got something special.

You asked me in the comments in Youtube if we had a video

from "Under the Scotsman's Kilt" sung by Dieb

Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left the bar one evening fair

And one could see by how he walked that he'd drunk more than his share

He fumbled round untill he could no longer keep his feet

He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

Ring ding diddle-liddle la-dio

Ring da diddly-ai-o

He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

About that time two young and lovely girls just happened by

And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye

See yon sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome build

I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

Ring ding diddle-liddle la-dio

Ring da diddly-ai-o

I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be

And lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see

And there behold for them to view beneath his Scottish skirt

Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

Ring ding diddle-liddle la-dio

Ring da diddly-ai-o

Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

They marveled for a moment then one said we must be gone

Let's leave a present for our friend before we move along

As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon tied into a bow

Around the bonnie star the Scot's kilt did lift and show

Ring ding diddle-liddle la-dio

Ring da diddly-ai-o

Around the bonnie star the Scots kilt did lift and show

Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled toward the trees

And behind the bush he lifts his kilt and gawks at what he sees

And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes

Wow, lad I don't know were you've been but I see you've won first prize

Ring ding diddle-liddle la-dio

Ring da diddly-ai-o

Oh, lad I don't know were you've been but I see you've won first prize

The T-shirt, I'm wearing is from a festival called Heiderock in Germany where we performed

a couple of weeks ago

and in the band's T-shirt playlist you can see some

bands that perform at the this festival

And at our own Zomerfolk Festival

we had a very nice interview with Sean Cannon from The Dublin Legends

And in this video we will talk about

the music he likes

I mean I listen to YouTube

to people like

Caruso

Caruso

He sings a 100 years ago

In 1917

And I get a shiver

When I hear him singing

Great eh? - and it's

And these other people I discovered

Recently I've

Discovered a singer, she's dead now,

Also, her name is Lucia Popp

And she is a czech singer

and she sings a version of Laudate dominum by Mozart

Oh, nice, ok - With an orchestra and choir and her voice

and Mozart's music

And it's astounding astounding.

I played that last thing since I discovered it and people write comments underneath

about the performance

You read and politics and religion, and you see all the hatred that people

yeah - people write and then you hear something like Mozart

And how did he do it? There's no computers then, nothing to record - yeah

This is all in his head. It's astounding

It's a religious kind of experience for me

And I'm not religious

I'd love to see your comments

On this video

where you can maybe provide us with tips

for people like us

or bands

Or if you go on holiday

for traveling to South America, especially to Brazil

And just in case,

we bring our own protection

In this last video. We show you the opening

from a concert called

Folk and Roll Journey

In a theatre in The Netherlands

Be easy and free and see you next week

So, I'm ready for it!

Almost quarter past eight

Saint Nicolas it is, Saint Nicolas

Essence of Murli 17-07-2017 - Duration: 7:49.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date Is 17th July 2017

( Sweet Sweet Baapdada has come to make us double crowned. Such a lovely Baapdada says in today's Murli ... )

Essence: Sweet children, in order to become double crowned, renounce double violence.

( All forms of violence be that physical violence or negative thoughts or feelings for others )

Become unknown warriors and conquer the enemy, Maya. ( Baba says we are spiritual warriors )

Question: Why is the saying, "small mouth, big talk" well known and about whom?

Answer: This saying is about God, because He sits in an ordinary body and tells you big things through this small mouth.

The Father, the Lord of the Poor, makes you wealthy from poor.

You children also say: We are very powerful warriors.

We are conquering Ravan and establishing heaven over the whole world.

So, this too is like a small mouth and big talk.

People laugh when they hear these things; they are unable to understand these things.

No one else would know how to say the things that you do. ( That is because God is teaching us. Our deeds are based on Gods teachings )

Song: At last the day for which we had been waiting has come!

Essence for dharna: 1. Don't be afraid of the storms of Maya. Run the race of remembrance.

Keep a chart of remembrance. Remembrance is your means of safety.

2. We are establishing an elevated kingdom by following shrimat. We are unknown but very well-known warriors.

Maintain this spiritual intoxication.

Blessing: May you be a constant server who serves with your elevated vision, attitude and actions.

Just as your body cannot continue without breath, similarly, service is the breath of Brahmin life.

Just as you become unconscious when you cannot breathe, in the same way, if a Brahmin soul is not busy in service, he becomes unconscious.

So, continue to serve at every moment with your elevated vision, attitude and actions.

If you do not get a chance to serve with your words, then serve through your mind.

When you do all types of service, you will receive full marks. ( Pls note this )

Slogan: The throne of the stage of a detached observer is the throne for making accurate decisions.

To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste

Om Shanti !

Experiencing the Merciful Healer (Clip 2) // Bayless Conley - Duration: 3:09.

Get ready to discover answers in the Bible

with Bayless Conley

Come down to verse 30, if you would.

because for the work of Christ he came close to death, not regarding his life, to supply

what was lacking in your service toward me.

Epaphroditus got sick and almost died doing a good thing.

But he wasn't exercising wisdom.

He didn't regard his own life.

Do you know what?

You can be doing a good thing; but if you don't exercise wisdom, you can endanger

your health.

I remember when I was a Bible school student.

You know, I'm a young man in my early twenties.

I'm fit.

You know, you kind of get this superman mentality, that you can just go on and on:

"I don't need to sleep; I don't need to eat."

And I would get up at about seven in the morning, get off to school; I'd be in classes Monday

through Friday from 8 a.m. until noon, and then they had a special class, actually, on

healing, and I would stay for that.

And then I would have to run when it got done, go change my clothes and zip off to work.

I worked in a restaurant.

I started as a cook; ended up being a waiter, and I'd be there all day long, and I would

close the place down.

I'd get home late; but instead of going to bed, I would stay up and study.

Man, I was in the Word.

I was devouring it.

I was preparing my heart and my life for ministry.

Hey, I'm doing a good thing!

And every night I would stay up until about 3 or 3:30 in the morning just studying and

praying.

And then I'd get to sleep at 3:30 or 4, get up at 7 the next morning and rush off

to school again.

And I was running on three hours, a good night four hours sleep, and I didn't do that for

just three or four days.

I didn't do it for just a week; I didn't do it for two weeks; I didn't do it for

just a month.

I did that every day for about three and a half months.

And you know what?

That wasn't wise.

Now maybe you're different than I am, but my body is not wired to run on three hours

sleep a night.

The only candle you should burn at both ends is the candle of kindness.

And you know what?

My health broke down… not just a little bit.

It broke down terribly.

You might say, "Well, Bayless, but you're doing a good thing!

You are in Bible school!

You are serving the Lord; you're studying His Word; you're praying."

Yeah, but the Bible says He gives His beloved sleep.

And I was not walking in wisdom.

And, really, I mean, I got sick, and it just got worse and worse.

My health was so broken until I repented.

I said, "God, forgive me for not exercising the common sense that You gave me and using

wisdom."

I repented and then I got healed.

Você está um pouco audacioso! (Compondo novas músicas em Campos) [Making of the New Album Pt. 6] - Duration: 16:42.

So, said the poet...

Do it straight.

So, it's like...

One, two, three, four...

From all the ballads we have, I think that is one of the...

The most beautiful, isn't it?

It's touching.

It is touching.

As it is short, maybe we can join it in another song.

The highest you'll sing.

Ah... This is it!

It's a ballad after all.

Pro Tools, pay us! Avid, pay us, too.

- Avid is our partner. - They gave us a license.

A great partner, Subscription. Pro Tools 2 - Subscription.

- Lifetime subscription. -With iLock, with hardware...

With Pro Tools HD Hardware.

They are giving studio, as well.

- Cool! - Yes.

- We have a great song. - For sure, a great ballad.

What if we do an audition of a song that I think it's the same vibe as this one?

Good. Then, we use it as a reference.

- To check what kind of elements... - Perfect Element.

- This is the perfect CD. It's very technical. - I also like Remedy Lane.

Who pays me more I listen.

How much money I'll get. I wanna know.

- The first time I listened to Perfect Element... - That's good, my friend.

The first song of this album there are some very good ideas.

Man, I like a lot this kind of themes. There's a ...

Then you say "No, it's the YouTube propaganda".

Imagine that!

Oh, motherfucker!

That's good! Check this bacon.

This bacon is aggressive.

Check if it cuts wood. If it cuts...

Calm down, just a sec.

Look at this grater.

- It's an UFO. - Ah, it's a grater.

Now you put the cheese here.

Put the cheese inside this UFO grater,

that the ETs brought to us.

- Special, this grater. - What a crazy thing!

The ET came and said to Rafa: "You can choose one artefact".

To survive.

it will change the course of our humanity.

"I want a cheese grater", I said.

Can you grate the cheese?

Do you know what the worst was?

I took almost three years to figure the question out what I'd ask them.

'Cause he talked in codes. And it was like rustles.

- Actually... - I knew they were talking, but not what.

Because it was like rustles. Like that:

The same happened in the end because what he really asked was a...

a machine that makes gold.

They understood a chesse grater.

Now I need to content myself.

- Something to end the guns in the world. - Yes, yes.

They understood that it was a cheese grater.

We have a fit menu today.

- Eggs, whipping cream. - No whipping cream in this recipe.

It can have, but not in this one.

I learnt this with Celine, a friend of mine.

A great friend of mine. She lived for many years in Italy.

She is a great cook.

This is my favourite pasta.

Do you know whay her name is Celine?

Her father went to the registry. He was a little undecided.

"I don't know, yet", "But what name are you thinking about?"

He said: "See Aline!". Then it turned to it.

- See Aline! - Celine! There's no problem.

Why couldn't it be? He wrote "Celine".

Actually she was the third daughter.

To make thing easier, the first was Aline, the second Beline and now Celine.

Oh, my gosh!

He made things worse. We don't work here.

- We are working on it. - Always!

Barbosa's recipe. Put the garlic in this frying pan.

You think that the bacon is expensive. Garlic is the expensive one.

Yes.

The eggs are frying.

I think that everything is gonna be okay.

Did you find the lemon?

- Join tomato and carrot? - No. Nothing.

- Join the tomato? - None of these.

- Ah... sorry, then. - NO!

Done. This is it.

It has eggs and grated cheese. We put cheese with eggs.

Salt, some lemon drops.

As this egg is gonna be served kind of raw, Barbosa's suggestion is to

join some lemon drops to make the egg yolk flavor less strong.

No, no, no... Let's tranform this in a good bass sound.

This is the old one.

The other is better.

Audacious!

- Don't you know the meaning? - I don't know the meaning of audacious.

Eh... It can be... The first one is done.

- Weird, isn't it? - This is the intention.

Our idea was to do something in 4 that would fit in 6.

Calm down, Fabio. Take it easy.

Imagine the first one in 6 and the other the same thing. It'll be...

It'll be...

Audacious.

Audacious.

Does this word exist in Italian?

- Ah, look here. - Audace!

- Audace! - Audace!

You're so "Audace".

I have to sing in a better way.

- It's just to give you an idea. - So you can feel it.

- Fabio! - Come on, Fabio! Take it easy.

Yes... relax.

Fabio claps hands and go away.

You're insane. I am out.

Let's do another one.

- This part or other part? - Yes, yes.

He wants to do the best. Wanna do the best?

You want to destroy everything.

Yes!

C'mon.

Oh... I think it's good.

- Look the punch here. - Audace.

- Audace! - Audace, my dude.

You are too audatious!

Fabio is the geatest audatious.

Fabio is really audace!

The first one is very good.

- Very good! - The second one do your style.

So we can use this cool melody. Got it?

Got it?

- Okay. - That's good, man.

- It's really good this one. - You're audacious, Fabio.

- The bridge... - We are working on this bridge.

It's not this. Not yet.

It can't be. I won't permit that. Just over my dead body.

- That's not bad. - That's not bad.

Now, for this part, it must be something very audacious.

Otherwise it's gonna be boring.

- We must check the arragements, the melodies.

- We'll check. - We'll be checking.

- "Internal penna", listen to one song. - Penna?

- What is that? - In Portuguese is Pen drive.

- Yes? - Yes!

- There's no word in Portuguese for that. - Pen drive is in English.

It's a bit toasted because I don't know how to let it less toasted.

Look at here. Come on.

Let me see.

I'll do something special in this recipe.

Got it?

I want it, too.

- GOSH! - Now, it's your turn.

Call the firefighter. Things are good here.

Babosa has many tricks.

He's just playing his guitar and suddenly...

He's good at meat, pasta, barbecue.

It makes part. It makes part.

He is not only gifted musically.

Ah, my dear boy. It'll be fucking good.

Fabio has to try first.

Fabio is the Italian here.

Now it's the black paw.

Now it's the black paw. The level is up.

Look the the black paw.

Come on, pay us!

Come on, pay us.

A lot of brainworms chorus.

I was just assistant.

A pasta as it must be, al dente.

Go there, Vertão!

You feel it more when it is slower. Slower is worse, you stay more time with open hands.

Ah, yes!

Good one!

Very beautiful.

Let me inspire you even more.

Yeah... that's beautiful.

It can be not so fast. It can be like the begining.

It can be faster.

The thing is that the whole song is in 100.

It was less five points here. But it goes to 210.

Yes. Let's do it. Let's do it.

You changed something. In the begining you do like that.

Ah, okay... I knew it was different.

Yes!

Is it good?

But, and the tone?

He is challenging me.

- And the tone? - The tone can be in C.

What if in A, Rafa? Let's try with the melody in G to check it?

Right. I play the melody and you sing it.

The tone is beautiful, but it's not connected so well.

I think that the bridge is too high.

- It may be. - Yes, it is high.

But it's a great bridge.

It's very good.

It's beautiful. We have to play it more because it seems that chorus must go down.

This part may be beautiful.

You say "Oh, what a beautiful chorus".

We can use this melody in another song.

- Yes. For sure. - And create another chorus.

Can you... forget that. It's recorded. Can you do another one?

- Create another. - Yes, create another song.

- You see? - He's audatious.

The Mythological Wizard said: "Come on, this is...."

- How many chorus you need? - Just five? Okay.

- How many punds of chorus you need? - Two kilos.

You need two arrobas of chorus.

I bring it for you.

Let's not do that part till he sings. Just play in E, put some keys, some noises...

Let's do it again.

So... put something different thing in the begining. I don't know.

When he's singing you mean?

Yes. When the riff starts. Do something different there.

Let me say. Let's try some melodies like that, but I don't know if it is because we've played some times

- I think it's better now. - I agree. It's better now.

I don't know if we needed more practice, but...

We were prepared to the chorus. We did the verse, the bridge...

The time it arrives, we did it better.

The intro gave some help.

Yes. Let's do it again so I can understand better what I am doing.

Can I try to write a new chorus?

- No. Do the same for now. - Yes... the same.

- Then, I'll do this now. - Wait a moment. Hold on.

- But you didn't do the... - It's better than the other.

It's fucking beautiful now.

I say more. The first one he does like that and the second he does the other.

What was that?

Our singer is the Wizard.

How many kilos of chorus do you have?

To do another song?

Another song?

- But this... - Campa da Jordania is making Fabio agressive.

I think we have an album.

No, no...This is...

I think we have a good album.

The reason why the Bullet ants are so famous

Hay Under Way - Duration: 7:01.

Hi, I'm Mike and this is our Wyoming life

Over the winter our cows will eat about 400 tons of hay and we usually count on feeding

them for about 180 days.

That's the worst case scenario, but when you're ranching, it's always best to plan

for worst case.

400 tons over 180 days, that's a little over 2 tons per day, of course winters start

out light, we might only begin feeding a ton day and save as much as possible for the rougher

parts of winters.

But that's the weird thing about ranching; you are totally up to the mercy of the weather.

From making the hay, to feeding it, the hay game is in Mother Nature's hands.

You might not have any hay to make or a reduced crop, and then get hit with a hard winter.

Or you may have hay coming out of your ears and have a really easy winter, you honestly

never know.

Unlike most jobs, your paycheck or even the ranch itself depends on the weather and how

much hay you can make.

Not many ranches can't buy hay every year and ours is no exception, but like the old

saying goes, it's got to be better next year.

So with haying done for this year, we count up our bales and start figuring out how much

hay we need to buy and where we are going to be buying it from but another pressing

issue is gathering up the hay we have made and getting it to the hay yard.

The hay yard is an area of the ranch were we store our hay until we need it this winter.

And the first part of getting our hay stored is getting it out of the field.

When we make bales with the baler we tend to scatter them all across the field, whenever

the baler is full, that's where you drop a bale.

Sometimes it's in the most inconvenient spot.

Sometimes you are on a hill and the bale pops out and chases you and the baler down the

hill, until you manage to get out of its way and it rolls for a quarter of a mile.

Or sometimes you make a bale and drop it off forgetting you are parked the other way on

the hill, and again it rolls away and you watch it go, hoping it doesn't hit the four

wheeler you have parked down there, or roll through a fence.

Sometimes it does.

So my point is the bales are scattered, everywhere.

And the first things you need to do it gather them up and put them on a trailer to take

to the hay yard.

This means driving across acres to get one bale and bring it back, and then do it again,

and again and again, until your trailer is full.

Moving hay can be dangerous and deaths happen every year while doing it, here we stay safe

by making it a one man operation, the trailer is mounted to one tractor, another tractor

is used to load the trailer, then you drive the tractor and trailer to the hay yard where

another tractor is waiting for you to unload.

These bales weight about 1500 lbs. apiece and if one falls off a trailer and you happen

to be standing under it, you aren't going to have to worry about buying Christmas presents

this year.

Even inside the tractor it can be a bit spooky, with the weight of the bales on the front

of the tractor it drastically changes the tractors center of gravity and it's not

unheard of for a tractor and its operator to flip a tractor with all that weight toward

the front, so you have to be careful.

Once the trailer is loaded, then it's down the road to the hay yard.

We have multiple hay yards, mostly for insurance purposes because they don't want you to

have your entire stock of winter feed in one spot, which makes sense.

If there is a fire, you could lose tens of thousands of dollars of hay but you could

also lose the ability to feed your cows anything until you can get that hay replaced.

Today we are unloading in our main hay yard and unloading is much the opposite of loading,

followed by stacking the hay.

There are many ways to stack hay, and a lot of the way you stack depends on your climate.

Most stack their hay end to end and go up like a pyramid, some toadstool stack, putting

a bale on to its end then stacking on top to keep deer from eating their hay, others

wrap their hay to keep moisture completely out of the bale.

However the hay is stacked the main goal is keep moisture from penetrating bales and causing

spoilage.

We stack with a base of three, end to end to limit the amount of moisture that can enter

the exposed end of the bale.

It will take us a few days to bring all of our bales up to the hay yard, some of our

hay fields are about 3 to 4 miles away and each trip can take a couple hours with loading

and unloading.

With each separate field's hay in the hay yard it gives us a chance to get a sample

of the hay as well, which we will send to the University of Wyoming.

Where they will test it for protein levels, minerals and sugars.

These numbers will help us decide what and any supplements we will have to give the cows

this winter when feeding the hay.

Big round bales, that's the way we go, until they outlaw them, that is.

New studies have shown that when fed the round bales, cows aren't getting a square meal

and I've heard that can be an issue.

With our hay count complete, now we start trucking in the hay that we will need to fill

up the rest of this hay yard and it's a lot about 14 truckloads and hopefully it will

start arriving next week.

That's it for moving hay, and we best get back to it.

I hope you have enjoyed it and I ask you to subscribe share and feel free to comment.

¿Qué pasó con los Jenízaros? | Yeniçerilere ne oldu? - Duration: 5:15.

Let me tell you how was the end of the Janissaries.

If you have arrived here by coincidence and you don't know very well who the Janissaries were, I recommend you to watch this video first.

We can briefly say they were the Elite Guard of the sultans.

One of the best trained armies,

They even had salary and an amazing social status.

In fact, their power started to grow at the end of the 15 century.

That's the reason why they fell into decline.

Let's go step by step.

From the end of 15 century and during 16 century, they had a lot of military victories.

They became richer, because they got booties from wars.

To increase their wealth, they started to practise different trades outside the Janissaries team.

So basically, Janissaries were too important in the Ottoman Empire during 3 centuries (16, 17, 18)

They also had a lot of prestige, political power and a great deal of influence on the sultan.

They asked for privileges under the threat of overthrowing him.

They got in this way:

1) Tax exemption of any activity.

Some people payed them bribes to appear as Janissaries (even if they were not) and enjoy tax exemptions too.

When they had to fight, there were more names than people ready for it...that was a problem.

2) Abolition of devsirme tax.

Children had to be given to the Ottoman Empire to become Janissaries soldiers.

Thanks to this abolition, the existing Janissaries could pass their position and their status to their children.

Maybe some of you are thinking now: "Didn't she say in the previous video that Janissaries couldn't have a family?"

Yes, I said so.

But it happens that 48 years before the abolition of devsirme, they got the permission to marry and have a family too.

It was a problem, tho. Because if Janissaries' children could inherit the possition, it meant they were not chosen among the best ones.

They didn't even have any kind of training to become Janissaries.

That's why the Janissary corp became more inefficient in battles.

So basically we are in a point where Janissaries had more and more political influence,

They even plotted against the sultan!

And if it weren't enough, they didn't win the battles! They had neglected their training and they were more concerned with the way of how to become richer.

Bearing all this in mind, they were a truly problem for the sultan in the 19 century.

So the sultan Mahmud II decided to make a move in 1826.

An edict was published on 11th June 1826. It was informed in it that a new army would be created.

This new army would be trained and organized in the European way and its soldiers would be Turks.

It seems the intentions of the sultan were specific:

To cause a revolt among Janissaries

Janissaries had always kept a conservative attitude towards any possible change in the army.

That's how the Auspicious Incident took place.

The Janissary corps took to the streets of Istanbul to protest,

but they were subdued by the elite cavalry of the sultan.

Thousands of Janissaries were killed, specially their leaders.

Their barracks were bombed, their wealth was expropriated.

The corps were broken up and the survivors were exiled in far provinces after being devoid of their rank and military equipment.

So that's their end.

I hope you have found this video interesting.
