Waching daily Jul 17 2017

Edymek: Okay, hello. Let's greet in front of cameras.

Edymek: Say your name.

Diana: Hey. I'm Diana. On today's video we'll talk about how to quit smoking.

Edymek: Exactly!

Edymek: Well, in some sense... How many years are you smoking?

Diana: I don't want to lie, but about 13 years.

Edmyek: It's very, very long.

Diana: Yes. Although I had annual break.

Edymek: So maybe tell how you quit smoking for year.

Diana: It was of coercion. I got pregnant. I was born daughter.

Diana: I left the assumption that I can poison myself, but not my child. That's why I quit smoking.

Diana: Later, when I went back to school... First, second, third ciggarete...

Diana: And that's how I'm smoking again for about 8 years.

Edymek: How you quit smoking? You've used some sticking plasters?

Diana: I just do it. Children was my motivation.

Edymek: So in this movie we thinking children are best motivation to quit smoking. :D

Edymek: What's your fettle when you are smoking?

Edymek: Can you repeat how long are you smoking?

Diana: About eight years when I'm smoking ciggaretes again.

Edymek: How are you feeling? How it looks when you get up? You have cough or something?

Diana: Sometimes cough hound me.

Diana: Day without ciggarete is not a good day for me.

Diana: When I get up firstable I'm smoking, because I'm just starting day with it.

Diana: Before sleep also I must smoke. During the day I'm trying...

Diana: I'm trying to smoke.

Edymek: How many ciggaretes are you smoking in one day?

Diana: Average about 20 (one pack)

Edymek: It's quite a few.

Edymek: Have you any health feelings? Had you any diseases or something related with ciggaretes?

Edymek: As we discussed about tongue that ciggaretes helps it.

Diana: Definitely!

Diana: Due to that I'm working in bodypiercing it's known that piercing makes it impossible to smoke ciggaretes.

Diana: So... E-ciggaretes are better for our clients when If already they wants to smoke that ecigs are the best solution.

Edymek: Here I must improve you. - not smoke, just vape.

Edymek: People laughs at this, but it's important, because it doesn't come to combustion reaction.

Edymek: All of people ruling who set all rules didn't see difference and it'll be okay to when we would see difference in this.

Diana: As I said, we're explaining to people it's better to invest in e-ciggarete, because when we are smoking ciggarete we are only breathing tobbaco included in e-juice.

Diana. And it's cold... Cold steam!

Edymek: Yes, cloud. By the way in e-juices are no tarry substances.

Edymek: There is only glicol, glycerine and aromas.

Edymek: You know... In different amounts.

Diana: It's much safer.

Diana: Hardly anyone knows that after fresh piercing smoking increase chances to get cancer.

Edymek: Exactly... And so it's high risk with ciggaretes.

Edymek: Here we have e-cig - Innokin Endura T18, which is cool for people which are smoking ciggaretes and they want quit it for e-cigs.

Edymek: Such pretty pink.

Diana: Perfect for me!

Edymek: Look at this and tell me what are you thinking about it as substitute for ciggarete.

Diana: Primarily what is important for me it's very compact.

Diana: As I see it's so small, so it'll be easy hide somewhere.

Edymek: Exactly!

Diana: And there'll be no problem.

Edymek: Yes. Primarily I think it's important for people which wants to quit smoking to not have something heavy, big, something what will be not bother them

Edymek: Ciggaretes however are light...

Diana: Light, but stow e-cig will be a little bit harder...

Edymek: That's right, but you can hide it pocket or somewhere... E-cigs sometimes are heavier.

Edymek: Okay, here we have e-juices for you.

Edymek: Which flavor you want? Here we have apple pie.

Diana: Apple pie! I'm very curious about that apple pie.

Edymek: Well... Here we have coils.

Edymek: Here you have one more coil, two mouthpieces... One is cooler...

Edymek: In sense... It's here because first EGO e-cigs had these mouthpieces.

Edymek: At all you have pad which allows to e-cig can stand.

Edymek: Of course here you everything written... Which colors means charge status

Edymek: Green means battery is fully charged, yellow means battery is half charged and red almost discharged.

Edymek: You have cool charging method, because charging port is below.

Edymek: Really, really easy.

Diana: At least it'll don't be dusty.

Edymek: Yes, exactly. Nothing dirty wouldn't come to inside of it.

Edymek: And you just pour it on the wall...

Edymek: You can smell it this apple pie flavor. You was really curious...

Edymek: It smells like apple pie?

Edymek: It's also advantage over ciggaretes that you have a lot of flavors to try...

Diana: And primarily when you're standing somewhere on the street people wouldn't scream "why are you stenching here?!".

Edymek: Yes... And there is next question. How people are reacting when you are smoking?

Edymek: Had you any unpleasant situations with this? How are you dealing with it?

Edymek: In this moment is prohibition to not smoke practically anywhere.

Edymek: E-cigs too, but ciggaretes are more denying by society.

Diana: I'm trying...

Diana: If I am somewhere on the street I'm trying to be careful. Not everyone must like to breathe tobbaco smoke

Diana: I'm not smoking near to my daughter...

Diana: And this is really important issue as well.

Diana: If I have possibility to watch people who's vaping I see other people are don't paying attention to them

Edymek: Exactly. Maybe for many people it can be disturbing it's after all very enjoyable smell, which isn't be irritant...

Edymek: And what is worth to see it's not poisonous.

Edymek: Concentration of everything maked by e-cig is so small... Practically zero.

Edymek: It's about 0,00...or something... In case of ciggaretes it's not.

Diana: Yeah, it'a a fact!

Diana: So... There's no need to look for trash... Or like some of people are doing, where they are staying there that are throwing...

Edymek: All in all everybody is so taught...

Diana: I'm just taught that everything must me throwed to the trash.

Edymek: Very good!

Edymek: Okay, I think you can try it now.

Diana: How to turn it on?

Edymek: Five clicks turns it on, and five clicks turns it off.

Edymek: If you are hiding it somewhere it's better to turn it off.

Diana: O!

Edymek: What kind of feeling is it?

Edymek: It's your second time with e-cig, right? You told me that you tried e-cig earlier, so just tell me how goes your first time with e-cigs.

Diana: In the first time I choked so much until tears came to my eyes.

Diana: I don't know... It's too high nicotine content in e-juice or e-cig was too strong... I really don't know.

Diana: But now I feel really good flavor and I think it will be really good motivation to quit smoking

Edymek: I keep my fingers crossed for you.

Edymek: And it's really important to choose good e-cig.

Edymek: There is a lot of e-cigs which are predicted for people who's are trying to quit smoking.

Edymek: But if you'll try something like this and I would have e-juice with a higher conent of nicotine and you know you're going to be upset

Edymek: And it's actually really imporant to choose good e-cig.

Edymek: In shop like this one (it's not a advertisement), but really can choose e-cig and... it's worth it!

Edymek: Ask your friends, let someone recommend and just go to one of shop like this.

Diana: Now I know which one I can recommend.

Edymek: Maybe you can still say what is your taste expirience, how about content of nicotine or if it's important to you to feel that "kick" which is in ciggaretes.

Edymek: When you are smoking you feel that "kick"...

Edymek: When you are vaping like I have you don't have that or it's really small.

Edymek: But in this case you can have bigger amount of nicotine included and you can feel it.

Diana: Exactly in this flavor it's a little bit weaker, although I must try different flavor, different amounts of nicotine and choose one good for me.

Diana: When regards to ciggaretes when you breathe you feel scratching in the throat etc.

Edymek: It's cool for many people and many people like it

Edymek: You also have 12mg and I think they will be appropriate.

Edymek: How much you monthly spend for ciggaretes?

Diana: Differently. As I said I'm smoking one pack of ciggaretes in one day.

Diana: Month has about thirty days, so it's about 450zł

Edymek: So it's a lot of money.

Yeah, that's right.

Edymek: And there is really important thing, because they want to enter excise for e-juices.

Edymek: In this moment 10ml of e-juice/aroma costs about 10-11zł and with excise it'll cost about 100% more.

Edymek: So congratulations for the rulers.

Edymek: How about clothes?

Diana: It's really hard. Especially with thick clothes. Jackets are really well absorbs smoke. When winter season ends up, before I hide jacket in the wardrobe I must wash it about three times to ventilate it.

Edymek: Same cons of cigarettes...

Edymek: We didn't find any pros.

Edymek: Can you use e-cig in your workplace?

Diana: Yes. I can use e-cig without any problems in my workplace, in room wherein, because I know it'll not affect on me and my clients.

Edymek: That is another plus.

Edymek: Okay. Thanks for now. We are in touch. We'll see in about week and we'll talk again.

Edymek: Thank you for watching. We'll see in a week.

Diana: Bye!

Harz Trip finale - Schulenberg (bikepark vlog) -subtitled- - Duration: 11:53.

that's something new... have to search for the bikepark

warm up lap! biker cross I guess

jump

yo! that's fun

ok.. roots

a roadgap!

going to follow them

ok as muddy as it is I guess I'll change wheels again

yeah changing tyres now

oh sorry - no problem!

pro tip Schulenberg.. better bring a backpack cause the parking space is far away

this is Schulenberg.. not bad

looks fun!

wet roots again

dry roots! better!

I'm slow at the moment

there was some flow

that was dumb... as if I didn't even try

not relaxed today

there was a tiger! ... a pedal tiger

still not in the flow...

I'm braking too much.. not good

another park I don't want to learn in the rain

nearly missed the corner

better but not good enough

offcamber line.. nice!

next survey run for today

looks flowy from now on.. ok kinda...

is that to double? for sure

this is cool

right towards the tree

last unknown track...

it's already 3oclock

and the trail looks exhausting too

at least the roots are dry

finding speed

looks like...

a downhill bike would fit quite well here... lots of bumps

just hopping over the roots and letting them guide me....

getting rooted

probably a drop... yes

now checking out the roadgap

well..

looks quite easy.. lets see

fail...

a whole week of almost nonstop riding leads to a noisy bike... I guess I have to take it apart at home...

BB seems to be done for

and my front hub seems to have bearing slackness...

I like this track the most... (Stempelstieg)

can't see because of the sun spots... that's no good

great idea to cut so hard

loose moments

that was fun.. slid out of the corner and almost fell of the wood...

I'd love to double there.. but I thing it's a bad idea

haha almost

nice! took me quite some time to get that one dialed...

solid berms!

and the brake want's to speak too... saying stuff like "meeeep"

nice roll

you alright? yeah yeah

too far

now this trail again.. looks way better than in the morning

I don't know why I got so much problems here

slowly... that felt a little bit better than usual

missed the line

still braking too much....

taking a little brake

hm... maybe I better go home... bars twisted again..

sometimes it's good to know when to stop... and I guess that's now... what the hell did I do?

It's home time!

Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge review - Duration: 12:02.

You may be wondering what's up with these artistic shots.

I'll explain later.

Imagine a less attractive version of me, but a very successful version.

What kind of cars (there are more) would he have in his garage?

I'm talking about entrepreneurs, rappers, DJs, soccer players; people with a disposable income.

Euros or dollars, I don't know the current conversion rate. 2 million seems enough.

What would he drive? Would it be a Rolls-Royce?

Rolls-Royce thought not enough of these people bought their cars.

That's why they introduced the Black Badge.

That's why I'm wearing a black cap.

The Black Badge has been underexposed because of Rolls-Royce's press release.

It was 5 pages of poetry telling what kind of people would drive this.

It was a struggle to find the things us petrolheads think are important, such as more power.

The Ghost has a 6.6 V12 with turbos. Not much to complain about.

You can in real life situations, but I'll get back to that later.

Still, it has 40 hp extra for a total of 595 hp and 840 Nm (620 lb ft) torque.

They increased these values, but Rolls-Royce did much more.

Except for the looks, the handling is more direct, the brakes are bigger,

LED headlights for safety (check), and a stiffer suspension.

Is it still a Rolls-Royce? I can do this.

It feels tighter.

The transmission holds gears longer and shifts down a gear more quickly.

This transmission uses satellites to determine its gear.

It usually works great, but sometimes it fails.

The GPS data has to be correct. There are no flappy pedals or sports mode.

This makes it differ from earthly cars such as the BMW 7 Series or Mercedes.

We're going to sit in the back now. Poof, like that.

Blue! It's a really bright blue.

We're shooting in color now. My cap has a blue rim too.

This is an extreme blue.

I'm a very big fan of blue leather interiors.

I had a dark blue Alfa 156 with dark blue leather. That was really pretty. This is too bright.

At Rolls-Royce you can choose any color you want, outside and in.

Can you tell something about the rear seats?

You're letting yourself be driven now you have your own record label.

I have my own record label. Not really. - Autoblog Records.

I can adjust my seat. This isn't the extended wheelbase. I'll have to make do.

I have to remember to shoot the starlight headliner.

Nearly 1,400 fiberglass dots are put in here by hand.

I don't know how much it costs, but it's really expensive.

I'm comfortable here. There's rear-seat entertainment. I can switch it on like this.

I think I'll live here. There are plenty of screens, it's comfortable, it can recline.

Martijn has to move, but I can close the door with this button.

Hello. Speaking of looks, aluminum is woven through the carbon fiber.

I wouldn't see it if I hadn't known, but it's pretty.

Some chrome details, such as the vents, are darker on the inside. The rest looks to be shiny chrome.

The outside has specific Black Badge details as well.

It's not all black.

A number of things, the grille and Spirit of Ecstasy...

Which isn't a flying lady. She leans forward in the wind.

Her clothes are blown off.

That's a pornographic reference when you think about it.

Us men like that. Women do too.

The Rolls-Royce logos are reversed: silver letters on a black background.

It's the other way around with a normal Rolls-Royce.

There are more details like that. The clock has orange hands.

The outside looks impressive. It seemed boring, but the black color...

It's not the same paint as a Fiat Panda. There's more depth and it shines brightly. It's cool.

The numbers: acceleration over 200 kph (124 mph) isn't impressive.

It's a big car and not built for aerodynamics. Of course they looked at it.

It's limited to 250 kph (155 mph). 0-100 kph (62 mph) takes 4.8 seconds.

The acceleration, though. The power reserve meter moves and it's going really fast, easy, and quiet.

I'm going really fast.

When braking you realize it weighs 2,500 kg (5,512 lb). That's heavy.

The handling is better than a normal Rolls-Royce.

It's not very tight, though.

I'm taking my cap off. It makes me look like a DJ who wants to stay young.

Yes, you. I'm talking to you.

Look at that. This is one of the darkest places in the Netherlands; the Oostvaardersplassen.

No, that's bullshit. There are no streetlights here, so I can show you the starlight headliner.

It's very special. I can adjust it or switch it off.

It distracts from the corner of your eye.

It's unique.

Does it match the driver's personality?

This is semi-sporty. It reminds me of the BMW M Performance models.

They're related. This would be the Rolls-Royce Ghost M 66i; a 6.6 V12.

Hang on. BMW doesn't look at the volume anymore. This would be the M 90i or M 1000i.

It could be anything.

Does it make me greedy, if I were to have 2 million, or would I choose a more modal Audi S8,

BMW M 760Li xDrive, Mercedes S63 / S65, Bentley, Maserati Quattroporte...

No, they're no equals, but I'd want something more sporty.

This car can do everything, but it's not good at really sporty driving.

A 7 Series or S-Class are steamships as well.

You'd think 2 million of disposable income would make it easy, but you encounter these life choices.

What to choose? A Ghost Black Badge or BMW 7 Series? What options and color?

Normal cars have 20 colors to choose from. Here it can be anything.

This pretty blue? Fine. Do you want the outside to be this blue? It's possible.

Do you want Autoblog red? It's possible.

Decisions, decisions. You get that with these cars.

There's only one way to solve this. Full acceleration from standstill. There we go.

It's getting nice here. Stationary is nice, but the car works best between 60 and 200 kph (37-124 mph).

Not that I'm doing 200 kph (124 mph) in the Netherlands. I never would. You're not allowed.

Why do Flags Feature the Southern Cross? - Duration: 4:49.

The Australian flag, the Brazilian flag and the flag of Samoa all have one thing in common.

Can you guess what it is?

-----TIME EFFECT----- Yeah if you said the colours blue and white

well… yes you are right but that's not what I am looking for…

The answer I was looking for is the fact that all three flags have stars on them in the

form of a asterism known as the Southern Cross which is part of a constellation known as

Crux.

Why is this constellation on all of these flags?

Well stick around to find out.

Crux is a constellation located in the southern sky in a bright portion of the Milky Way.

and It is among the most easily distinguished constellations, as all of its 4 main stars

are easily visible with the naked eye.

Its name – crux- is Latin for cross, and it is dominated by a cross-shaped or kite-like

pattern – known as an asterism - that is commonly known as the Southern Cross.

And it is the smallest of the 88 constellations.

Despite being in the southern hemisphere Crux was known to the Ancient Greeks due to the

fact that it can be seen from southern Egypt;

According to astronomers it was entirely visible as far north as Britain in the fourth millennium

BC.

However, the gradual movement of the earth (known as the precession of the equinoxes)

over time lowered its stars below the European horizon, and they were eventually forgotten

by the inhabitants of northern latitudes.

During the time of colonialism the stars where rediscovered by Europeans and were a source

of fascination for many astronomers at the time.

Historians generally credit a Portuguese astronomer (João Faras) - who accompanied Pedro Álvares

Cabral in the discovery of Brazil in 1500 - for being the first European to notice and

depict the constellation correctly.

He sketched and described the constellation (calling it "Las Guardas") in a letter written

on the beaches of Brazil on May 1, 1500, to the Portuguese monarch (Manuel i)

The constellation soon became very important in the Southern Hemisphere, becoming used

for navigation.

The constellation is used in a similar way to the Polaris or North star is used in the

northern hemisphere, but where the Polaris is used to find north, crux is used to find

the south.

This is done by tracing a line between two of the stars to find south.

Much like the north star the southern cross gained great significance in the cultures

of the southern hemisphere, particularly in Australia and New Zealand, whose pioneers

were colloquially referred to as sons and daughters of the Southern Cross.

Beginning in the colonial age, Crux became used as a national symbol by several southern

nations.

The brightest stars of Crux appear on the flags of Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Papua

New Guinea and Samoa.

They also appear on the flags of other parts of Australia and south American regions.

Crux also appears on the Brazilian coat of arms and, as of July 2015, Brazilian Passports.

Before we finish let's conclude: The stars that appear on a lot of the flags

in the southern hemisphere are known as the Southern Cross.

The southern cross is an asterism or pattern which is part of the constellation crux

In ancient times, you could see it in Europe And it is often used to find the south.

I really enjoyed making this video, looking up the various constellation and stars just

remined me of how small we really are and what is out there.

Maybe in the near future with companies like SpaceX about we might get to experience even

a little of what is out there.

I hope you enjoyed this video and if you are from the southern hemisphere, let us know

if you can see crux and if your country or area uses it on your flags.

Thanks for watching.

NEC EX341R multisync 34" curved monitor unboxing + testi - Duration: 8:51.

then we have... [ringtone playing]

my phone rings all of a sudden

Hello there!

And welcome.... to Jimm's.... youtube videos.

hashtag!

yes!

we have gathered here, again

round our screens to have a look at the next unboxing

and again, it's time for a monitor to show what it's got!

and, let's start by finding out which one!

here we have it, this small...

well, not so small in fact

NEC 34" ultrawide monitor

and

first we'll have a look-see inside the box [translators note: lit. "what it's eaten"]

and and.... afterwards

a bit of a more in-depth look at the product

but now, let's get this open!

and for that, we need a knife!

[box cutter appears]

let's put it on it's side so we can see...

[cutter hits floor] oops

we dropped something again

firstly, we find the following

DP cable

HDMI cable

EU power cord

2,5mm male to male

cable

we'll probably figure out what that one's for later

USB cable

energy certificate and

installation ....savvhghgdfjhfgdlltrrtgh

...the setup manual - those are installation instructions!

that's all of the the...

well, mostly cables this time

and now let's get started with the monitor itself

I recommend using the floor, or....

the help of another person when opening these large boxes

there!

the monitor has emerged

and it's a NEC, November-Echo-Charlie

EX341R monitor

and looking at it's external features

the front part is quite simple, nice and simple

the panel does not have much of a bezel around it

at the bottom it's slightly thicker, dark grey bezel

with the NEC text logo in one corner

in the middle you can see a couple of sensors

for adjusting the brightness according to surrounding light levels

and having a closer look, we can find some buttons here

well, not actual buttons, touch interfaces

most likely, let's have a closer look in a moment to find out

once we have the monitor up and running

we have input, for choosing what source to use

menu button

menu navigation arrows, errrrr

then we have the reset or picture-in-picture option

and power button and -indicator led

then let's look at the back side

ugh, ahh, auuugh

like so! there we have it

we have the stand, that

features adjustable height

it has a small, well

actually it's quite big, cable organizer

for easy cable management

down the frame of the stand

errr, like mentioned, the height is adjustable

and also the screen can be tilted

oopsie! it really does tilt quite far back

at least in this direction

and it rotates, too!

now does it... ooops!

it does pivot, at least to some degree

the back also features VESA mount, looks like VESA 100 to me

on the back we can find the following connectors

plugs, inputs, whatchamacallits! [gesturing]

ports!

here we have the power cord

on this side, we can find, in order

HDMI x 2

DP in and DP out

then we have control sync in and control sync out

and something worth mentioning regarding the DP out

that enables you to connect another display directly and and

in order to get a picture without having to connect it to the computer

and then there's the

control sync, using that little cable mentioned at the beginning

errrrm

this enables you to

when using multiple monitors that support the feature

control sync let's you use one monitor's control buttons to adjust settings simultaneously

for all monitors at once or individually

from the other side....

I'll try my best to show you

oopsie!

the table is moving, too!

errrrm, there are more connectors

we have a 3,5mm minijack

4 x USB

and two... two... errrrm

USB type B connectors

for connecting your machine to the monitor

the monitor also features display sync Pro

that let's you connect computer one up here and

computer two down here

and then you can... you can

you can use the monitor as a KVM switch

and control two computers with one set of mouse and keyboard

and you can switch between them using the input button

but NOW

it's time to get the monitor up and running

like so! now we have it ready to go

and first we can go over the specs a bit

this monitor is 34"

ultrawide, and it's curved

the curvature is 1800R

it's about that much

and the curvature 1800R means that

building a circle using these babies

the diameter... no, radius!

is 1800 mm which is 1,8m!

the resolution is 3440 x 1440px

errrr

the panel is a Samsung S-VA

which means surprisingly high contrast

the frequency is 60 hz

let's have a quick look-see at the menu

we have... there

opening the menu

here, icons appear at the bottom that tell you what each button does

so you don't have to rely on lucky guesses

though the menu is quite clear even without them, there's

left, right, down, up etc

first there are brightness and contrast, the usual

display settings

and other, display settings

looks like the different preset profiles

sound controls, multi picture

USB control settings

on screen display settings

multiple display settings

saver... saver!

saver data where you can see all the savings you've made using eco mode

and the general info

so there are really a lot of options that you can tweak

on this monitor

errr umm err ummm errrrrr... exit!

there! so you can game [struggles with words] with this monitor, too

really nicely

the picture is really bright and

and, umm

the colors are really nice and true

and it's really performing quite well in this type of use as well

and since it's ultrawide it really gives something

of an edge to gaming

it makes the field of vision larger on the sides and

and I myself find that a very nice bonus

when I have been given the chance to play on an ultrawide setup

oopsie!

okay, let's just go....

there! we'll just park in the bush here and

probably start wrapping up this video

so this was the NEC

EX341R ultrawide

ultrawide monitor

and it's really, very nice

a nice package, I think

we'll return again, with another product

so it's goodbye for now!

Cat In A Baby Carrier? ⎮ ASL Stew Life - Duration: 9:07.

(cat meow... ♪♪♪)

[Jill] So, right now it's 3:18. I haven't really vlogged much today.

Really this morning I've just been editing, captioning, laundry...

but recently it was Amazon Prime Day.

So I was looking around seeing if there was

anything on the registry that we wanted to get a good deal on.

Because if you can get a good deal, why not. You know, just get it ourselves.

So, we found a few things.

I thought the crib would arrive today.

It's suppose to arrive today, but no, we got the carrier and I can't wait to open it.

You know, just to make sure everything is OK.

Try it on, make sure that it fits like it did in the store. All of that.

Then tomorrow I think we're suppose to get the baby monitor.

It just happened that they had exactly what we wanted on Prime Day.

Alright, let's see!

(♪♪♪)

Yay, box! Woohoo!

(♪♪♪)

So, it's really comfortable and I like the mesh.

It's a really breathable fabric but really soft still.

So you can flip this part over... right there.

It's really nice and it's really easy.

You just kind of flip it on your neck

and then you just click it in the back and that's it!

So really easy! The easiest one we found so far.

It's really nice because.... it has everything you need. So excited!

Yeah, we need a baby though.

Maybe I'll just put a cat in there?

(♪♪♪)

What is that?

(♪♪♪)

Yay, just got the crib!

Really nice UPS man was super nice and brought it inside the house for me

because obviously I cannot move it myself. It is huge!

Eeeee, I want to open it right now and see what's inside!

But I should probably wait until Jenna gets home.

But I want to see it now! Ugh!

(♪♪♪)

So, there's a lot inside this box.

I think I'm just going to wait until Jenna gets home to help... yeah.

So now I need to weed more outside because it's not raining.

So all of that, no good. Nope.

All of this, awesome! That, no go.

So, good, good, good, good.

So I just got back inside.

I couldn't finish everything because it started raining again,

but... I mean I would say 75% or 80% of the patio is done.

I'd say maybe one more day and then I'll be done!

Woohoo! Hate weeding.

Do you like weeding?

If you do, you can come to my house and do it for me.

Please? Please.

(♪♪♪)

All of this... eek!

(♪♪♪)

[JE] It's good.

[JI] So now we're taking a walk.

It just rained, but right now it seems to have stalled for a bit.

So, been trying to walk as much as possible.

You know it's good exercise for me and for Jenna.

Sorry, bug.

Umm, and yeah, I really love this area here.

Just because it's really nice to walk here

'cause we can walk around a lot.

Plus there's not a lot of traffic because it's not a main road.

Umm, it's not really like a cul-de-sac, but kind of... kind of.

But I really like it and later when we have the baby,

then you know once it's not winter, then we can have the stroller.

Yeah, once the baby's born, it will probably be like, I don't know.

I'll probably have to wait like six months here.

Because here, they'll be born at the end of December or January.

So it will be cold! It's awful here in the winter.

So we'll have to wait until March or something like that.

But anyways, it's fine. It will be worth it!

[JE] So, we were talking a walk in the neighborhood,

and I noticed a black cat looking at us.

We had a staring contest.

Guess who won?

Me

No? The cat?

Pshh, I deserve the win!

Good way to test.

(♪♪♪)

He's purring.

Purring

[JI] So he likes it?

[JE] Well he's purring, so...

(♪♪♪)

[JI] He didn't want that to be clipped. He didn't like it.

(♪♪♪)

Say good night.

Say good-bye!

Hey.. hey you!

Hello?

Say good night.

[JE] Good night!

[JI] So that was the end. The walk was good.

No rain and we had fun with the cat.

I can't wait, we finally picked a paint color. Woo hoo!

So maybe tomorrow, I have lots to do,

I might vlog again. I don't know.

Umm, I think I'm gonna go and pick up the paint.

I'm excited!

Yay crib! Woo hoo!

Hopefully you guys enjoyed the vlog and have a good night. Bye!

Inside ODESZA's creative process | Native Instruments - Duration: 4:17.

It's really important to try new things, and, because of that,

I think it's really important to fail

If you don't try things differently, it stays stale

and you may never get to where you really want to be.

I think the northwest definitely has a particular vibe.

I really can't see myself making music anywhere else.

It allows you to just kind of be inside and that breeds this internal energy.

You can really just self discover – in a sense

a side of you that I think might get lost.

I think that's why I like putting on my headphones and going on a walk

or being on a car ride and listening to music

When you take it with you on a journey or something.

I don't focus on every little detail as much

I really focus on just the general feeling I get from the song instead.

Maybe you don't even notice it, but you start making these connections to it.

What makes a sound the end product of a track

is defined – I think in a lot of ways – by the process in which you made that track.

So, we've been using MASCHINE since it first came out.

The functionality of it, and the look and feel, just allows the producer to add ideas,

take away ideas, manipulate sound, take apart a song, replace pieces, re-record pieces…

really get into the depth of a track.

I mean, it takes you back to analog gear, and you can just sit there and fiddle with

stuff until you find something unique instead of trying to search for something.

If you can't figure out something within seconds, it doesn't become part of you playing it

and that's so important.

You can start by taking the tail end of the reverb of a chord you played, and that becomes

the new chord, and then you manipulate that into a whole new song.

It becomes something that is hard to replicate, and that's what makes your sound unique.

We usually will print the synth sound into the track itself and build it.

So basically, it kind of makes it easier to make mistakes, and we've found that mistakes

really lead to the most interesting ideas.

I'll hit the wrong button and turn on a plugin, and Clay will go, "Oh, I like that!"

And I'll go, "Yeah, me too," and the whole song becomes a different song.

This newest album is a lot more about, I think, growth and progression and maturity.

I don't think we're trying to reinvent the wheel, it's really just us pursuing

our sound to the fullest.

We've kind of rediscovered that sound in some sense and reconnected to it.

It has flavors of what was, but is also something new and progressive.

It's a very fine balance of knowing enough but also not being afraid to make mistakes

and explore new areas, make some weird impressions, or make some weird noises.

It's, I think, really respectable, and I respect that in a lot of artists

and that's something we try to do.

I think what's so important about being in a duo is that when someone is starting

to feel anxiety towards something, "I don't want to try that, I don't think it's going to work,"

someone else is there to be like, "I think it might, and I think we should try it."

Learn and grow from those mistakes as much as possible.

You don't want it to be perfect.

It can be kind of raw, and it needs to be you.

NICA: The New Normal - Duration: 5:07.

I was riding with my dad.

We were pre-riding the Canada Cup course, and there was this one gravel downhill section.

And it just seemed out of my ability.

I remember standing at the top and crying.

We went from a fire road into a single track, and we were going uphill.

And I was passing this girl, and we caught handlebars.

I went down.

I got up, my chain was off, and I was like, "oh, my God, I have to fix this."

I remember standing there and the frustration of just wanting to walk away, and my dad wouldn't let me.

He was referring to all these other things that we had just done that was way harder.

And then finally doing it and being like, "oh, why was I so worked up about that?"

I got back on my bike.

I lost like three minutes, and I was like, well, there's my race.

I'm dead last, and I can't really do anything.

I didn't really give up.

I just kept going, and I ended up in third.

And I was really happy after that.

That hooked me; that hooked me to mountain biking.

I think mountain biking changes kids in really pretty profound ways.

It's important to a lot of teens to feel like they're part of something.

And being on a high school mountain bike team really affords the opportunity.

We're a co-ed sport, and we're very proud of that.

But we have been really working hard to grow our female population.

When I started at 15 years old, there were no girls.

For me, it was a matter of getting permission to race in other categories to get that competitive experience.

Now there's some momentum rolling, girls seeing other girls and teenagers and women in the sport is so influential.

It really motivates girls to say, "hey, we can do this too; we can be as good as you and even better."

You can tell they're working together on their own time and putting the effort in and training because they were fit.

These little moments of perseverance are happening all the time, whether it's at practice, on rides, in the racecourse.

The empowerment that it gives girls on so many levels is really real.

To feel like they are very equal to their male counterparts, these things are a big deal in the formative years.

They just gain so much confidence.

They end up doing things they absolutely did not think they could do.

How they move on the bike, you can tell when they sort of melded into the bike, and they're finally home.

I think one of the big challenges to recruiting girls to mountain biking is just the unknown of what it is.

But when you get a girl in it, it's fabulous because they absolutely love it.

While you're on the start line, it's an independent sport, but it was the environment that really hooked me in.

Mountain biking is for everyone.

I love that you see two-year-old kids that can barely walk out on the pushbikes.

I have seen parents' perceptions change quite a lot.

I see a lot of moms and dads actually get on bikes because of their son or daughter's participation in the sport.

A big piece of our team is the family vibe, having kids of all levels and they're supporting each other.

Our practices are more fun; we're all riding as one group.

My teammates are all super supportive and cheer me on all the time.

If I hadn't joined the mountain-biking team, I don't know that I would've met my best friend.

And my coaches care so much about the entire team.

It's not like a win or lose type of thing.

There's always something to improve on and something that you probably did better than last time.

It's a unique experience to be able to know that I'm not going to be stuck doing the same thing every single day.

When we climb to the top of a mountain, and she's up there, and just that self-confidence that she has, like "I did it."

Or riding through trails, and all the friends she's made from different teams and attending the camps.

At the end of the day, they all come together and support each other.

We're thinking long term.

We want you on your bike the rest of your life.

This is just the beginning.

There's so much passion behind the force of what this event stands for.

To see it all come together and everyone volunteering and making it happen, I think that was the most memorable part.

And to know what our sport's foundation is now looking like, that's so powerful.

And I hope it goes straight across the continent because it's an incredible program.

DIVING into a flooded PRISON! | Our homemade SUBMARINE #6 - Duration: 6:40.

I'm diving into the room

It's so dark in here!

We created a submarine from two bathtubs in our last videos

We didn't just want to test it in our little lake

So we drove all the way to Estonia

To dive into a flooded prison!

Last time it failed and water came into the submarine

But fortunately everything went well

Now we fixed everything

Our diver found the weights

So we are ready for another test now!

I'm going down now, the prison is in front of me

now i'll turn on the motors

Just in case you can hear me, everything is okay

But I can't hear you... I'm floating somewhere

Our communication doesn't work anymore

But everything else is okay

In front of me there are old walls

unfortunately the rope blocks my vision a little bit

but it still looks amazing

This looks like an old shed

I don't know what all this is and how deep I am

But it really looks cool!

The diver will now cut the rope

so I will be able to move around on my own

but I'm a little but afraid of something going wrong again...

I hope everything will be okay this time and no water will come in

now I'm floating next to a wall

okay I'm moving on now

This really looks awesome!

The stiring also is working very well!

Shit I'm going to hit the rocks

That was close!

I thought the glass was going to break!

Wow, there is a door

It's so cool, how you can watch everything from the inside...

He is now going into the building, unfortunately I can't follow him

I'm all alone now, I can't call him and I'm not attached to the rope....

It really was worth it to go to Estonia!

I always am afraid to hit the rocks...

and I have to remember to get fresh air

This looks like an old shed

I'm now diving into the shed

I'm following the diver

It's so dark in here

I'm now inside a building under water...

Everything looks so creepy under water

even though this just are normal buildings of the prison

I'd like to know for how long those stones have been under water now

I think diving in this boat even is more fun than normal diving

but it also is much more creepy...

I should go up now

we also attached a foot-pump just in case there should be no electricity

I'm at the surface now

I should be able to go out again now

We wouldn't have expected it to work that well

I was under water for over one and half an hour

Thanks to everyone who made this possible

especially to our PATREONS who help us to produce videos regularly

and of course to everybody who joined us and to our parents :)

Please tell us in the comments if you want to see more of our submarine

We have a few new projects, if you don't want to miss them, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!
