A BREATHING EXERCISE TO TAKE YOU HIGHER

WAKE UP WORLD

By Nick Polizzi

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

A few years ago, one of my teachers taught me a powerful breathing exercise that Id

like to share with you today.

Variations of this technique have been used for millennia to induce altered states of

consciousness and connect more deeply with the divine.

On the surface, its hard to fathom how breathing alone can take us to such great

heights.

I had doubts myself until I gave it a try.

As it turns out, I hadnt given my lungs enough credit the experience was cathartic

in ways that defy description.

This exercise comes with a special note of caution please make sure to read it below!

THE ART OF CONSCIOUS BREATHING When was the last time you thought about how

and when you breathe?

Biologically speaking, breathing is a rhythmic, involuntary process regulated by the body.

Most of us do it about 12 to 20 times per minute.

Its kind of a requirement on the standard staying alive checklist.

But spiritually speaking, your breath is far more than that.

When we were filming The Sacred Science in Peru, one of the shamans, Roman Hanis, showed

me the power of using the breath to access higher realms of awareness.

He led me through some deeply transformative breathing exercises that combined both Amazonian

and Tibetan mystic traditions.

Before beginning each session, he reminded us that we all begin our lives in a primordial

state of peaceful love and kindness and through breathwork, its possible to return to that

place.

In Romans words:

Within many archaic languages, including Andean Quechua, Amazonian Quechua, Tibetan,

Aramaic, Latin, Greek, Hawaiian and others, the word for breath is the same word

that is used to describe life, spirit, and soul.

This begs the question Im always asking myself what did the ancients know that

weve forgotten?

For thousands of years, up to this very day, people have used conscious breathwork for

many reasons.

Here are just a few:

To access healing and insight To expand consciousness

To release stress or anxiety To re-energize the body

To gain clarity and vision To connect with higher forces / spirit guides

A SIMPLE YET POWERFUL BREATHING EXERCISE: The breathwork exercise I will share below

is intended as a simple intro, to give you a taste of what your breath can do.

However I was on the fence about whether or not to share this exercise, because it can

be intense and needs to be used with care.

A friendly warning before proceeding:

This type of breathwork should be avoided by anyone with a history of the following:

cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, aneurisms, significant

recent physical injuries or surgery.

Pregnant women should avoid this type of breathwork as well.

Keep in mind that during the process, its common for you to experience a wide spectrum

of feelings.

Such sensations can include deep relaxation, joy, serenity, sleep or meditative states,

and possibly the release of past trauma.

Reliving the birth process or even past life experiences have been reported too.

With this in mind, its strongly recommended that you have someone with you who is aware

of what you are doing and is willing to assist if you need anything along the way.

Remember, if you experience any overwhelming sensations it is OK to stop at any time.

THE PRACTICE: Preparing your space:

Find a firm, flat surface to lie down on a yoga mat on the floor is ideal.

Many people also put a pillow under their head and a rolled blanket under their knees.

An additional blanket can also be used for warmth if you become cold during the exercise.

Important: If this is your first time trying an exercise like this, I strongly recommend

keeping it to 20 minutes max, before gently bringing your breath back to normal and letting

your body relax for 10 minutes in a laying position.

Again, this practice should be done with a partner who can supervise you.

Take turns at 20 minute intervals, one experiencing while the other holds space.

Using a timer with a gentle sound is also recommended when trying this outside of a

workshop or class setting.

Read through all of the steps below before starting and familiarize yourself with them.

Step #1)

Lie down on your back, with pillow under the knees and any blankets positioned in a way

that makes you comfortable.

Close your eyes and relax your body and breathing for a few minutes.

Step #2)

Take in a slow, deep breath.

Gently breathe all the way to the bottom of your lungs so that your stomach moves outward

a bit.

At the end of your inhale, immediately begin to exhale at the same speed.

At the end of your exhale, immediately begin breathing in again, slow and steady.

Step #3)

Be mindful of continuous, circular breathing where there are no gaps between inhale

and exhale.

And be sure not to hold your breath.

When your lungs are almost full, begin to exhale, then before your lungs are empty,

inhale again.

You want to create a pattern of constant breathing either in or out.

Think about the breath as making a circular motion in, through, and out of your system,

and repeat.

Step #4)

You will need to breathe a little bit faster than you would under normal circumstances.

However, and this is very important, you dont want to breathe so fast that you create tension

anywhere in your body.

The lungs and entire body should be as relaxed as possible.

In this way, the breath cycle can be maintained for a longer period of time.

Step #5)

Breathing in and out through the mouth will support emotional release more completely.

But if you find that its more comfortable to nose breath, thats ok too.

In about 10 minutes or so, your body will find its own rhythm and way of breathing.

(At about the 10 to 15 minute mark, you may begin to feel a tingling sensation in your

extremities, a feeling of euphoria, or an altered state of awareness.)

Step #6)

After 20 minutes, your preset timer will sound (remember to set a peaceful alarm sound) and

your partner will gently put a hand on your shoulder to let you know that its time

to slowly and intentionally bring your breath back to normal.

Take some time in this in-between state to notice how what youve learned integrates

and interacts with the reality that comes back into focus around you.

*Some find this to be the most revelatory piece to this exercise.

Step #7)

You are complete ?

I hope this practice gives you a glimpse of the innate wisdom that is available when you

tap into the power of your breath.

Conscious breathwork is yet another way to stay connected to the sacred in your life.

Thank you to the ancient masters who gave us this deeply transformative wisdom.

Stay Curious,

Nick Polizzi The Sacred Science Team

PS: This practice is similar in many ways to The Rebirthing Method from Leonard Ore,

and Holotropic Breathwork, which was brought forward by Stanislov Grof.

Both of these modern methods have origins in ancestral wisdom traditions and are great

resources if you are looking to further explore this area of inner work.

THE SACRED SCIENCE

The Sacred Science follows eight people from around the world with varying physical and

psychological illnesses, as they embark on a one-month healing journey into the heart

of the Amazon jungle.

Working with indigenous healers, each participant uses a combination of plant medicines and

intense spiritual ceremonies and exercises to restore their health.

During this fascinating 30 day healing journey, the barriers between each patients physical

health and mental well-being are blurred and eventually eliminated altogether.

The time-tested methods used in this film are profoundly powerful if you or a loved

one are looking for breakthroughs in natural medicine, this film is an absolute must.

The Story of Dawn of the Aspects [Lore] - Duration: 8:49.

Hello everyone!

I've uploaded the story of Dawn of the Aspects before, but back then my innocent self used

a bit of video material from the movie how to tame a dragon which the youtube copyright

system didn't like.

Luckily we have Khallys who worked her magic to bring the story to life, so here's the

re-upload of Dawn of the Aspects, I hope you'll enjoy!

Alright, the whole set up is that the 4 aspects, Alexstraza, Ysera,Nozdormu and Kalec come

together at Wymrest temple as they always do.

However, since they've fulfilled their destiny, the older aspects don't see the point.

Kalec, who only recently received his aspect powers wants the group to stay together, but

he fails to convince the others.

They plan to split up the wyrmrest accord with the next meeting…

Kalec flies over the bones of Galekrond, father of all dragons and inside the bones he finds

a strange artifact.

This artifact unwillingly drags him into the mind of past Malygos.

This has some nasty side effects on him since the relic is not working as it should, being

so close to the corpse of Galekrond has corrupted the device.

It takes controle over him, forces him to transform between dragon and human form and

it makes him fly around the world.

Eventually Jaina finds out about Kalec his predicament and she tries to find a way of

saving him.

As I said Kalec enters past Malygos his mind and with past Malygos I mean Malygos before

the aspects received their powers.

Malygos the proto-drake.

In this time the proto-drakes are still very primal.

Most can't think beyond eat, sleep and reproduce, but some are starting to evolve to a higher

level.

The future 5 aspects, Malygos, Alexstraza, Yseraa, Nozdormu and Neltharion are ofcourse

amongst those evolved.

The problem that they are facing in this time is that Galekrond all of a sudden is starting

to hunt proto-drakes.

Galekrond is not a dragon, instead he is a mutated proto-drake.

What happened was that he become so big that the food in his area couldn't sustain him.

To survive he started to eat his own kind and that even amongst these primal proto drakes

was not done.

This had a weird side effect.

One part is that he pukes out his victims and these victims become zombie drakes.

They hunger for flesh, they have an attack that melts flesh and they can bite others

to transform the disease.

Another effect was that it transformed him even more, made him even bigger and even more

hungry.

Eventually he would become so hungry that he would start to eat the zombie drakes, only

to puke them out again, but after being digested for the second time…yeah these drakes didn't

come back to life.

Anyways, he became a threat to the proto-dragons so something had to be done.

The first fight was Galekrond VS the united proto-dragons and this was unique for that

time.

As I said they were still very primal, but one proto-drake managed to get them to work

together.

The first attack failed, but thankfully the future aspects survived.

The second fight was Galekrond VS Tyr and the future aspects.

For those that missed out on my titans and old god video, tyr was one of the keeper of

Ulduar.

He was not an Titan but a titan keeper.

It is rumored that Tyr was the one who lead the first humans, who descended from the Vrykul,

away from Northrend and into the rest of the world.

Tyr's hand is for example named after him.

This is just speculation though so let's focus on the facts.

In the story Tyr uses the artifact that Kalec found and he uses it to make a copy of the

memories of the aspects.

He then comes up with a plan to fight Galekrond together with the aspect, but they fail.

Tyr his hand gets bitten off and both his hand and the artifact go inside his stumic.

Round 3 was Galekrond VS the future aspects.

Although Tyr had a nice plan, it revolved around using his strengths instead of those

of the future aspects.

They come up with a plan that requires team work and makes the most use out of their individual

strengths.

Neltharion was physicaly very strong, Alexstraza was born to be a leader, Malygos was already

very smart, Nozdormu was punctual and had a great sense of timing and Yseera would dream

of things others would write off as impossible.

They fight Galekrond and with the use of their teamwork they save the day.

After that Tyr and the other keepers asks them if they want to be guardians of the world,

incase something like Galekrond would ever happen again.

This part was the whole reason why I was so interested in this story, but it's very

vague.

I'll read the lines out of the book that describe the titans:

Near them, two more hooded figures materialized.

the newcomers raised their hands.

He also suddenlty sensed that there was another, greater presence acting through the keepers,

that presence being the true force bringing about the proto-dragons coming transformations.

The Titans.

It is happening!

The blue dragon thought.

The titans are the ones overseeing the transformation, the creation of the Aspects!

As they raised their hands, the figures also changed.

They began to grow.

Their hoods and cloaks fell away, revealing four giants akin in appearance to Tyr when

he had fought Galakrond.

The keepers continued to swell in size, and their bodies glowed with tremendous power.

And that's where it cuts off, after that Jaina drags Kalec out

of the visions.

Jaina saves the day, but she did not do it alone.

As she is searching for an answer, she goes to the same place as Kalec whent and there

she see's a vision of a Taunka who gives her the key to fixing the Artifact.

Kalec also saw this vision as he found the item so it's heavily suggested that this

vision is actually Tyr trying to help them.

Through out the story they also see glimmers of a hooded figure which once again implies

that Tyr is outthere…somewhere…

Like I said, Jaina manages to save Kalec and he decides to use the artifact as Tyr intended

for it to be used.

He brings the aspects together and he shows them the visions of their past.

Tyr suspected that there would have come a day where they would need a reminder of who

they were before they became aspects.

Even though they used up all of their powers, they were already something before they got

those powers so they can be something again.

It's just a matter of finding a new place in this world and they decide not to disband

the wyrmrest accord.

And there you go that's the short version of the story.

There are a couple of lore things that I would like to summarise.

Galekrond is not the father of all dragons.

The titans are the ones who transformed proto-drakes into dragons.

They led this myth exist to avoid having to explain about how he ate all of his fellow

drakes and what not.

To the question what will happen with the aspects?

They used all of their aspects powers to defeat Deathwing so there's no longer a keeper

of time or a guardian of the dream…that's gone and they are also mortals.

We don't know how old they can get because no dragon has ever died of old age yet.

That doesn't make them powerless though.

They had qualities and powers ever before they became aspects so they atleast have that.

They will also always have a certain connection to their aspect like Alexstraza will always

treasure life and Kalec will always be drawn to magic that's just something that's

part of them.

What will their roll be in this world?

Who knows, but you can be sure that when blizzard needs them, they'll part of a story again.

The battle with Galekrond is where Tyr lost his hand and it's suggested that Tyr is

still somewhere outthere.

It's not explained why he abandonded his watchers tower or why he escaped the corruption

of Loken.

I think that the theory of him guiding the early humans might not be so crazy.

As I've told you guys before, Neltharion fell victim to the whispers of the old gods

because he was the aspect of earth, he had a connection to the places where the old gods

were locked up.

How ever in the story it becomes clear that Neltharion already heard the whispers of the

Old Gods even before he received his powers.

There's a minor bit of reference to this.

As the titans ask the aspects if they want to become guardians, Neltharion stares off

into the distance as if he's listening to something that isn't there.

That doesn't mean that his powers didn't push him over the edge, but it was nice to

see that they were already working his mind.

We can be sure that the titan keepers have the ability of communicating with the titans

since they summoned the titans to grant the powers.

This does create some questions in my mind though as in…why didn't they call in the

help of the titans before?

Why didn't they tell the titans about Deathwing as he attack Wyrmrest temple or why didn't

Raden contact them when they fell silent?

We could speculate on answers like maybe the titans are testing us, maybe they're training

us or maybe something interily different happened.

"We have fallen"

That's the end of my story, now this is just the short version...

I'll place a link in the description if you want to buy the book and read it for yourself.

Thank you very much for watching, I hope you enjoyed the story.

President Trump Just Gave A BRUTAL Warning To Robert Mueller That Has Washington D.C In An UPROAR! - Duration: 1:56.

Just like the rest of the country, President Trump is fed up with the fake Russia "collusion"

story.

Due to James Comey's illegal leaks to the press, a special counsel was appointed to

drag this hoax out even longer.

This week, President Trump had a warning for the head of the the special counsel, Robert

Mueller… stay away from my family finances.

Asked if Mr. Mueller's investigation would cross a red line if it expanded to look at

his family's finances beyond any relationship to Russia, Mr. Trump said,

"I would say yes.

I think that's a violation.

Look, this is about Russia."

Democrats have been trying to get into the Trump family finances since before the election

and Trump isn't going to let the left use Mueller to get their way.

He said that as far as he knew, he was not under investigation himself.

"I don't think we're under investigation," he said.

"I'm not under investigation.

For what?

I didn't do anything wrong."

Robert Mueller has hired at least seven Democratic donors to join his investigative team, including

one attorney who donated roughly $34,000 to federal Democratic candidates.

Trump also explained why a special council should never have been appointed in the first

place.

Muller has a conflict of interest in the investigation, Trump said, because he interviewed for the

job of FBI director the day before he was named special counsel.

"There were many other conflicts that I haven't said, but I will at some point,"

Trump warned.

President Trump knows this is a witch hunt and so does the rest of America.

Robert Mueller has officially been put on notice, he would be wise to listen.

what do you think about this?

Ep 92- The Science is Settled! [My Incredible Opinion] - Duration: 4:35.

The science is settled on vaccines.

That's what they tell us.

What does that actually mean?

There once was a debate about whether the small pox vaccine even prevented small pox.

The debate was raging so violently that the vaccine inventor himself, Edward Jenner, switched

the formula from a cow pox source to another disease called Horse grease.

But that killed his first patient, so he switched back to the cow pox and said "the science

is settled, cow pox vaccine prevents small pox."

I'm perfectly willing to accept that a cow pox infection could prevent a small pox infection-

even though to my knowledge there has never been another animal-associated virus used

to prevent a human virus (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong), I could still

accept it as one of those freak accidents of nature.

Molecular mimicry or something like it.

But the science being settled on that- never.

You can go to Wikipedia right now- look up the Vaccinia virus and you will see all kinds

of phrases like "The most common notion is…", and "Speculation is that…" and "Although

the issue remains contentious…"

Small pox and the vaccine that "Eradicated" it, is full of all kinds of unsettled debates

that people argue about to this day.

Take a look at polio.

Why did it start paralyzing more people around the 1800s.

It apparently lived in peace alongside humans for hundreds, if not thousands of years, but

towards the beginning of the 1800s it started to make its way into the spinal column of

humans.

You can read book after book on polio, and believe me I've read most of them, and you

will not find a conclusive answer as to why the poliovirus suddenly had great success

invading the spinal column.

You will find theories as to why poliovirus infections increased, but you won't find anyone

mention why paralysis from these infections seemed to increase.

I think I know why, and in fact am writing a riveting tale about the true story of polio

right now, but the science on why polio started to paralyze more and more people is not settled.

Even the efficacy of the vaccine itself WAS and IS a hotly debated topic.

Read any account of public health officials in the late 1950s and 1960s and you will see

there were grave concerns the polio vaccine was causing more paralysis than it was preventing.

This is not crazy anti-vaxxer talk- it's there for anyone to read (if you dare).

I'll try and remember to link to a very interesting meeting of public health officials in 1960.

Does the flu shot work?

Sometimes?

Is the science settled on that?

The flu shot definitely, without a doubt, cross my heart, works sometimes.

Always.

Seriously, what is the science on the flu shot.

Settled?

I'd could go on and on like this for all the different vaccines, for which they all have

science articles that give conflicting stories as to their safety and efficacy.

One thing I've seen that recently that blows me away is this chart of vaccine ingredients.

When it comes to vaccines and autism, this is the one vaccine ingredient that has been

studied.

Out of 38 other vaccine ingredients, and I'm sure there are others, this is the one that

the science is settled on.

Right.

Out of the 9 or 10 vaccines that children are likely to receive 4,000 doses of, there

is one that has been studied for it's connection to vaccines and autism.

Just one.

The science is settled for that vaccine, according to public health officials.

As to the OTHER vaccines, and the OTHER ingredients, the science is not settled.

In fact, we'd be LUCKY to have science that was unsettled.

Because apparently, there's no science at all.

And that's my incredible opinion.

The Synchronicity Is Really Strong At The Moment, Who Is Feeling - Duration: 6:55.

The Synchronicity Is Really Strong At The Moment, Who Is Feeling It

By Luke Miller Truth Theory

This year has felt like an uphill battle since the start of January, it was an intense few

months in November and December, but as soon as the new year hit, it was like someone removed

the metaphorical power plug.

I have been having a lot of conversations of late with lots of different people all

over the world and something that is happening with those I am attracting is a real synchronization

in feelings, actions and thoughts.

This started to happen around the time the mayan calendar ended, but really started to

increase in intensity in the last 2 and a half years.

It has manifested in synchronistic events that have landed me my job I am currently

working at, placed me in the Peruvian jungle with a shaman that I communicated with in

a vision and had me seeing owls up to 20 times a day for 3 months straight (weird I know

but stay with me).

The most miraculous thing that has happened to me personally is an overnight learning

of how to interpret number codes.

This was something that happened as a result of my jungle excursion to Peru, and has a

story behind it, but in a nutshell- I woke up and the language of numbers made perfect

sense to me.

It is interesting to note that the Schumann resonance has been rising over the last few

years.

The Schumann resonance is a measurement of the magnetic frequencies within the Earths

electromagnetic spectrum.

It is said to be generated by changes that happen at the earths core.

As long as records go back the Schumann resonance sat at a steady 7.83Hz with just small fluctuations,

recently this has changed with it spiking at over 36Hz- meaning the rhythm of the planet

is actually changing.

The different lines in the chart represent different locations- up until November in

the most active areas it was sitting for the most part between 7Hz and 12Hz with occasional

spikes (highest 24Hz).

Since November it has started to consistently pulse between 10Hz and 24Hz.

From the middle of January up until now it has been rapidly swinging between 11Hz and

36Hz.

What is causing this is debatable, it could be intentional interference, global warming,

an act of god or a mixture of the 3.

But whatever is going on (and I can only go on my own experience) it is having a visible

effect on myself and the people who I keep company with.

This article was actually inspired by a Facebook post in which I said The synchronicity

is strong at the moment, really strong, who is feeling it!?!? in which I got inundated

with responses, messages and comments from people all feeling the same thing.

It is almost as if I entered the internal conversation everyone was having simultaneously.

My personal experience with all the synchronicity has been- me thinking of people and they message

me, thinking about a subject and someone will start talking about it, seeing number codes

repeatedly and even planning trips abroad, only to find out countless people from different

friend circles are going to be in the same place, at the same time.

But it is not only synchronicity, it is the ability to predict events before they happen,

dreaming in an unspoken language, having prophetic dreams and being able to enter altered states

and travel to different realms.

I know there is a good chance that many will not make too much sense of what I am speaking

about in this article, but it is very real, and being experienced by a very large group

of people simultaneously.

One explanation for this could be that of quantum entanglement, which is the process

when 2 sub atomic particles interact and become entangled. This is a physical phenomenon which

occurs at the microscopic level when a pair or group of particles are generated, or interact

in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be separated.

Meaning once the 2 particles become entangled, they can be separated by infinite distance,

and when one is altered the other will instantaneously also be altered.

Something that Einstein called spooky action at a distance.

According to theoretical physicist and cosmologist Lawrence Krauss, in the first billionth of

a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a second after the big bang we went through

a period called cosmic inflation, in which our universe blew up from the size of an atom,

to around the size of a basketball.

What this means is all we are now, came from this single atom, we have just evolved and

been diluted in different ways.

Should the theory of the big bang be true, it seems obvious that people would share entangled

particles within their DNA.

Maybe those particles have been entangled at different levels, in different people and

species- but ultimately everything that is or ever was exists in all of us.

Meaning we literally are all the same thing, a house brick and a sea turtle come from the

same source, as do fire and water.

We are all one no matter which way you look at it.

I dont claim to have all the answers, but I do know that the world is waking up to something

significant.

Maybe this is simply a result of frequency changes which is awakening something within

those sensitive enough to feel it.

Whatever the case- many are now feeling these shifts!

That really opened my eyes to a

This year, I'm gonna be doing equity research

For my third year, I'm really looking forward

to some of the classes I'm gonna be able to take,

a lot of liberal arts colleges can offer to their students,

and it's something I'm really excited to take advantage of.

I think just being able to have professors

who are so accessible and so willing to talk to you

and give you just their own life experiences

and their advice, and just having someone

to be sounding board is so important.

And they've really been the people who've

helped me figure out my path a little bit,

and now I know when I graduate I wanna go

into the field of public accounting

and wherever that might take me.

I'm not sure yet, but it feels really good

to have a sense of where I wanna go now

versus when I first started in college,

I had no idea what I wanted to do.

I just new that I wanted to spend my four years here.

And now that there's a little bit of a plan emerging,

I think it's really satisfying to see

myself progress along that path.

(happy guitar music)

Tax Season Comes Early This Year - Duration: 3:37.

Hello world. We are "Live from my Couch." Today, I wanted to talk about the

Republican Party's impending effort to "reform" the American tax system. For the

past couple of months - and let's face it - years, the GOP has attempted to repeal

and replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, also known as that

thing that has given millions of Americans health insurance. In order to

do this, they attempted to use a special legislative process known as budget

reconciliation, which would have bypassed the Democratic Party's ability in the

Senate to filibuster the legislation, and would only require 51-ish plus votes to

pass. This was originally slated by the GOP leadership to be a very quick

process. Remember everyone in the Republican Party has pretty much staked

their careers on repealing and replacing Obamacare, but due to massive resistance

on multiple fronts support for this effort has by and large petered out. The

Republican effort to repeal Obamacare for this fiscal year (and this fiscal

year alone) appears to be dead. What GOP leaders appear to be doing now is

shifting to the next legislative priority, which is tax reform - also known

as making the rich a boatload of money. While it's true that budget

reconciliation cannot be filibustered, it also comes with a few principle

limitations, and one of those limitations, according to Vox, is "you cannot

move two separate budget reconciliation bills

affecting spendings and revenue at the same time." In normal language, that means

the GOP cannot use budget reconciliation to pass tax and health care reform

simultaneously. The GOP chose health care, rather than taxes, first, because, for

a myriad of reasons they initially thought that that would be an easier battle

to fight. Boy were they wrong! Now that they appear to be shifting away from

repealing the Affordable Care Act, the GOP appears to be focusing on tax reform

as its next, big legislative battle. And since they haven't had that many

legislative victories this year, this battle is going to be different. For one

thing, the White House is already more coordinated on this issue during the

health care debate. With the exception of live-tweeting his disappointment, the

President wasn't that involved in the heavy-lifting of winning over

legislators and key stakeholders. In other words, there was a lot of talk on

their end, but there wasn't a lot of work. For taxes,

they are already planning to use the President more effectively. He's going to be going

to key swing states for the sake of promotion, as well as reaching out to

corporate executives, key conservative groups, other stakeholders, governor's, and

politicians. This was just something that he didn't really do last time.

Another reason to worry is that taxes are harder to rally behind. It's harder to

see how tax reform will impact someone's life in the same way as health care. Also,

Republicans, regardless of the data, can always fall back on the argument that

this move will grow new industries and jobs. People love it when you talk about

jobs. In the days and weeks to come, we're going to have to get Americans just

as pissed off about tax reform as they were about health care. This is going to

involve grilling the Republican establishment on how they're going to

pay for these cuts. What services and programs will be reduced or eliminated

entirely so that rich people can have a second mansion somewhere? We're going to

have to link these cuts to the individuals and families that will be

worse off because of them. That's all for today. This video was made possible by patrons over at Patreon. If you like what you see, consider becoming a patron.

Celebrating SmileStream's 1 Year Anniversary with Dr. David Dana and Dr. Shockley Wier - Duration: 9:16.

Hi everyone. David Dana here once again with my dear friend Dr. Shockley Wier.

How you doing?

Fantastic, thank you.

Another weekend in California now teaching Seminar 2.

So the reason I'm having you here today... today SmileStream is a year old

and you were actually one of the first instructors that got to use it and teach

with it and during this year we've made quite a bit of changes and improvements

on the software. So you use it all the time in class, you use it all the time in

your practice, how do you like it?

Well I have to tell you that you and Miles did a

fantastic job developing the software. It's a great tool. It has made my

practice much more efficient. It's made my diagnosis much more efficient. The

improvements that you have created in SmileStream over the things we have in

the past it's leaps and bounds better than what

it used to be. I've heard it from the students over and over and over again

because I've been teaching the software all weekend and everyone seems to love

it so thank you.

Don't you love those automatic visual treatment objectives?

I have to tell you I was honestly skeptical whenever they came up with

automatic treatment objectives but the fact that I can push a button and within

a few seconds I can see all the different possible treatment options and

then I can go back and see how these treatment options were created has been

such a tremendous time saver.

It made 15 minutes into 15 seconds.

Exactly and the students love it especially you know

I've had retakes in class and when the retakes see the new software and I hit

the button all of them are like oh I wish I would have had that whenever

I was going through the program so it speaks volumes about how much more

efficient the software is.

The appliance design, the way we put it, the way we

adapted it into the treatment plan, do you find it much easier and convenient to use?

Much easier for the people that have been using the old software we

used to do things with screenshots and having to transfer things back and forth

and the thing that I found with the new software is in all aspects it increases

efficiency with the click of one button it takes all the bands and brackets from

the appliance design right into the ordering form so it simplifies the

ordering of the bands and brackets. It has made...I have to brag about another

feature is the range of bracket torque in the VTOs. There's no more going to

external programs you just click a button. It lays it right on top of it. All

of the treatment plans are there with the click of a button.

It also allows you to add gable bends to your brackets and see where the

tooth will end on the RBTs.

The efficiency...it can literally cut your time in half.

I don't know if you know noticed this but this is something I

notice in my practice, selecting the brackets on the treatment plan to me it

makes it much faster because I don't have to go through scrolling pages but

also has reduced errors when we order stuff and it also has reduced my bracket

selection errors because in the past when I was scrolling through 10

different brackets sometimes I would click the wrong one or I would tell my

assistant you know put the rotations in there get me linguals and

labials or something. All of a sudden I would get a labial bracket where I wanted a

lingual. Have you noticed that reduction of errors in your appliance design as well?

When designing an appliance everything streamlined and it just

it's all around much easier to order an appliance. You know

another thing that I've really noticed in the SmileStream is for a while some

of our treatment plans were starting to look intimidating because they were so

long and a student would look at it they'd see all these words and they'd

become frightened by this list of words. Now the SmileStream treatment plans are

significantly consolidated so everything's there in a concise form so

it's not so overwhelming but if you need additional information the orange

buttons that you've created so that all I have to do is click on a button and it

expands it and then all the information is right there should I need it but the

times where I don't need it I'm not overwhelmed by all the information. Great

tool. Another great tool that students have raved about this weekend is in the

ceph tracing and the model measuring. The new software is much easier to do

the tracing and at the same time there embedded in the screen is a tutorial so

if there's anything that you don't remember click on it. It shows you right

where the point is supposed to be and it's just another example of the great

increase in efficiency.

Yeah it is. It's been a long process definitely for me and

Miles and our programmer John but we have a couple more surprises coming up.

Pretty soon you're going to be able to have libraries. We're almost ready

to get that product out where you can have your own library of

materials that you use to teach or diagnose cases that you can share with

the whole community Progressive. So I am glad that you are enjoying it and the

students are loving it. You know I don't travel and teach as much

as you are so hearing your feedback of the students loving it makes me really happy.

So I guess we can really recommend everyone that has gone through

Progressive and is still using the old IPSoft, this

is the time to change. Absolutely and another thing that has caused some

people to delay it is not having a standalone version and now we have

standalone version for both Windows and for Mac so having a standalone version

as well as a cloud-based version is fantastic because there's sometimes

where my internet access is poor, there's times where I work on an airplane and

having the standalone version it runs very quickly and very smoothly but also

having the cloud-based version to where all my data is stored up in the cloud is

fantastic. That way, god forbid, I lose my computer, one of my children spills a

liquid on my computer, somebody steals my computer it's just as simple as going to

another computer and everything's right there for me.

I tell you I just got a new

computer a couple of weeks ago my computer one day just died I couldn't

turn it on. Three days before I had just uploaded all my final patients from

IPSoft and I'm so glad because dead computer or no computer I can go

anywhere and open all my cases and I was about to lose them all.

Now you told me

there's an app and I haven't even tried this yet so I'm excited to try this.

I haven't even tried it yet.

Go to the App Store and download the app and

it allows you to be in contact with all the community you know the forum posts

but also you can order materials, supplies, send cases, you get notified

if you receive a case, students send cases to us all the time when we send

them back they will get notified on the app. It's really, really a good, cool tool

and pretty soon we're going to be able to have streaming video in there so

if you want to see a video from our library you can just watch it on your phone.

I'm excited.

Yeah go to the to the App Store and download it. It's under SmileStream.

Absolutely, thank you for sharing that.

Thank you so all of you guys out there that

have not yet gotten into SmileStream this is the time. The software is working

phenomenally and is much more efficient than what you're used to. Thanks, Shock. It's

good seeing you and I know I'm going to see you again I guess next weekend.

Women Small Biz Owners Burdened by Obamacare - Gina Martin, Little Rock, AR - Duration: 1:43.

We are just a small business but we are being treated like a large big business who can

actually finance health insurance for part time workers and they are considered part

time workers, in our normal business.

The complexity for every payroll is unimaginable and when we go to these look back periods

we constantly have to monitor what we do.

Not only that but then we have health insurance that has to pass the governments accountability

test and whether or not that the insurance we're actually paying for meets the affordability

test and cannot exceed nine and a half percent of their income.

So if you want to talk about all the mathematical challenges the complexity about hours of service

for Obamacare vs. hours of service for the department of transportation vs. the way we

have to pay our drivers.

It's crazy the challenges that our industry has to face.

The problem is after Obamacare passed, the cost went up the complexity went up and so

now we went from being able to afford health insurance and then the Affordable Care Act

kicks in which makes it unaffordable.

So that's the irony.

The point should have been bringing down the costs of healthcare as a whole.

And instead it just passes off the cost of healthcare to small businesses who can't afford

it.
