Hey guys, film bandit here.
So I'm going to start a series, as well, because that is one of my side passions
My sister kind of got me into anime.
And it sort of exploded into this uncontrollable mess.
So today, I just finished season 1 of Hamatora.
Hamatora was written by Yukino Kitajima.
Sorry if I said that wrong.
It's a very alternative kind of anime.
It's got a very psycho-pass feel, so it's very gritty and quite violent.
And there's humour, a lot of humour, but it's interspersed with a lot of violence as well. So be prepared for something pretty full on.
Hamatora is about a duo who solve mysteries.
It's kind of got an X-Men feeling.
In the sense that, most of the main characters, all are minimum holders, like mutants,
So they have a specific power that works in a specific way.
Now I really, really liked it, and I am not entirely sure why.
Because the pacing is so fast. Literally as you are watching it, it is going all over the place.
And you as the viewer have to do a lot of work to keep up with what's going on.
But they give you enough and they explain enough that you feel like you're immersed in this world.
And the style is really, really different. It almost reminded me of a 1990s kind of style.
I was surprised when it was filmed in 2013. Filmed, animate, eh, same thing.
I just really liked the style. It was very different and very colourful.
But the animation also matched the pacing and I thought that was really cool.
If I had to give it one criticism, it's that villain was a little 1 dimensional.
He was just crazy. I mean to put it bluntly, he was just crazy.
And the main character pretty much just said to him, literally, you are crazy.
But there are enough twists and turns that it still worked anyway.
In fact there are some really, really nice trolls.
That are done, sort of on top of each other and it really, really works.
So if you're going to start an anime, this is one to get into, if you like something that's a little bit edgy and a little bit darker.
And it's just very cool and different. Overall I would give it about 3.5/5 bandits.
But I think it is very cool and different. So something to get into.
If you want to see X-Men in an anime, this is the anime to watch. Okay, film bandit out, catch you guys next week.

And I have the great pleasure of introducing you to our flagship the Insignia Grand Sport
So back in 2013 at the frankfurt motor show. I had the great pleasure of unveiling the Monza concept
That car was the inspiration for what I call design cycle 2.0. The evolution of our design philosophy
Sculpture artistry meets German precision
But what's more important? Is that car was the true inspiration?
For the Insignia Grand sport it really did influence everything we did
The first thing you notice about this car is the gold front end with this grille
That's almost turning back on itself
It gives it a like shark like nose when you sweep back the grille is very landscape and wide giving the car very low
Wide impression and then this beautifully fluid lamp really slim
Exaggerated that proportion. Let's talk about the lamp in a little bit more detail
Firstly the winged signature lamp which is on all opals
We've had that since the original Insignia, and this takes it to the next level with this double winged signature life
But the real element of this lamp is the new Matrix led
Headlamp here which takes what we've already introduced on the astra to a whole new level of sophistication
proportion is everything in design so with this vehicle as
I mentioned to get a premium feel one of the first things we wanted to do
was push the front wheel forward relative to the cabin that is something that definitely gives this aura of
Confidence and proudness, so this proportion was very important
But then obviously as you work back through the vehicle. We definitely
Elongated the wheelbase further to Liberate interior space but in doing that you really stretch the silhouette of the car and this

Powerful car as you flow down the vehicle. You can again see the beautiful surfacing and flowing shapes again
accented by these crisp lines of precision and the really well-constructed
Dynamic lines that really add to the dynamism of the car all this really?
flows through into this tail end that gives it that accent and again gives the gesture and

Extension of what I talked about on the front with this double wing
Signature again in a very slim profile to really accentuate the overall width of the car and give it this really high-tech
look
So now let's go inside and and talk about this wonderful rear seat package as you can see I've got
Generous amounts of space in this car we've actually increased the legroom the shoulder room and the headroom
I'm one meter 94, and I've got generous amounts of space around me
Let's get in to the best seat in the house
And once you're in the first thing you notice is how low you sit in this car
You really sit in it which really gives you a great
Connection to the Road and definitely fits with the driving character of this car
It's a very sporty car and the driving position really fits that very well
