hey everyone it is van here again and today I'm here with another gameplay

video surprising right I know it's been forever since I've made one of the

switch or Wii U or whatever ones I don't think I've done anything

one to switch but today I'm playing some slow tune - I'm going to be doing some

turf wars I'm super like happy ever since this game came out so I'm going to

hop into some perforce actually I'm going to grab some gear quickly enough

to level some of that up I haven't been playing I mean I think has been playing

as much as a happened it's been busy doing some other stuff too but uh as

much as I usually would I haven't been playing I guess but yeah I guess we're

going to hop into a future force and see what happens okay so we have muscle ford

fitness I don't know how I feel about the stage pretty me anyways I should

probably mention I'm using the splattershot

and yeah here we go so I've been kind of better able to I played more defensively

ever since of gospel tune - and I don't know I think that's made kind of a

difference so I'm better at the game now than I was I always be supported on like

crappy teams when in reality a lot of time most really me and I can't really

blame my internet right now anymore cuz I did get an Ethernet cable for the

switch because otherwise I like people fell for it all over and that's no fun

so yeah I got that all set it's really I'm happy with those the Ethernet cable

makes a giant difference so let's see here

look I just noticed what's nice about alternatives I can actually show the map

versus on the original I couldn't show the map and a whole how the heck did you

get there

okay I don't think there's really much we can do right now most Vegas we're

going to push over and quickly I think my teammates are going to try to push a

bit but he's not hit me they're already in danger so it looked like we had too

much more than that I don't know be kind of hard to tell sometimes just and not

enjoy your juice fast yeah first time I guess was it I get any spots on even now

feel my commentaries rather boring I don't know why people like would watch

him if I find them boring I don't see why I can make them but if you guys

enjoy them I'll make them I might not put as multiplies effort like I might

not walk through the entire thing one of anything even all this like I don't know

content I am Avengers a whole lot more and it's more satisfying and it's not

like I'm going to be completely honest the amount of views I'm getting through

something I've heard I put in my videos like just not worth it and very

motivating sometimes so I don't know I like I'm just kind of going on both my

channel and just updating you guys and guess why I'm not uploading on this

channel I'll try now look once again I'm not that interesting for

commentary so there's really not much else to talk about I can talk about the

game which is what I'll do the next few matches but I might jump in with some

updates here quickly I'm not sure we just want I don't know yeah I guess they

didn't push into our base quite a bit right i'ma left there well I tried

that's the important thing right all that matters

might have to switch out and grab some different here once I finished leveling

up this stuff you see the level twenty fours are all the people who like have

played non-stop so I was thinking it came out I'm only like level like I

don't remember I'm a little like fourteen something like that something

not incredibly impressive but you know whatever I don't know I might switch out

to do with two once I upgraded nine years are not updated but I switch out

my gears that really went well for me I guess thanks to every was I will not

vomit all I forgot I hated that wasn't so much in

the original like I just did not feel like the rate of fire is you actually

have to keep pressing the button over and over and it's like not rapid fire

like Barris the blasters you can at least fold them down and it'll still

blast with that you literally have to manually press any button over and over

it I was not a bad of that or already endangered

you don't have any disconnect either

the clothes and I don't know I feel like it'll be fun to have more things like

more balls and this eventually it will be a lot more play with the ranked

battles I have like a b-minus and one of the rank right now I believe it's sweat

I'm using it now so it should be all good

you know generally I just closed Skype but one other way to do that is just

mute it so that's what I'm doing oh we got it destroyed there - dang all

weapons Inc up that's not exactly the best funny be using probably using two

other abilities oh there we go finally the other other stage in quat Art

Academy so far I'm not like a big fan of any of the stages on obstacle soon -

besides motorized hours I've always hoped over each other so can't go wrong

with more it probably wrong opinions who wanted to do with us at this

else was behind me really just flooded like that like they obviously lost

amounts to somebody else behind me so I target them to get the ink fog field

behind me just somebody just there like trying to back me I don't even know

tune ups and that's made a entire difference it makes a world of a

"I work my butt off at work.

And she was more than candid about her strategy for her new lifestyle.

The Ghostbusters star has lost what In Touch estimates to be over 75 pounds, although McCarthy

hasn't revealed the exact number.

Actress Kirstie Alley was in denial about her weight until the media pointed it out

Ultimately, Alley lost 75 pounds, and kept a promise she made to come back on Oprah — in

a bikini.

Alley told People, "I love that you have a consultant.

It's like being an athlete.

No athlete is going to do well without having a coach.

We have to equate that to life."

By 2017, Alley had lost a total of 50 pounds, and has kept it all off.

Wendy Williams

Talk show host Wendy Williams has struggled with weight all of her life.

She told People,

"My first diet was in the first grade!

Tuna fish and mustard with yogurt on the side.

Weight was a big thing for me to overcome."

The host has gradually shed 50 pounds over three years and kept it off.

Her biggest tip?

Slow and steady is the name of the game.

How about that?

It's not going to happen overnight.

I no longer believe in fad diets, crash diets…

I don't want my heart to race and pop out of my chest."

​Lena Dunham

Actress and writer Lena Dunham doesn't equate skinniness with her own worth, posting on

Instagram in 2017,

"I feel I've made it pretty clear over the years that I don't give even the tiniest of

s---- what anyone else feels about my body."

Dunham's worked out with celeb trainer Tracy Anderson, but it wasn't to improve her image.

At the time, she told Anderson, "I have endometriosis, I have chronic physical pain, I just want

Dunham lost weight in 2017, thanks to her healthier lifestyle, sharing with Ellen about

Rosie O'Donnell

After struggling with weight all her life, comedian and former talk show host Rosie O'Donnell

said it was a heart attack that caused the then 50-year-old to consider gastric bypass

surgery.

O'Donnell had the procedure in 2013 and started to lose weight.

But she acknowledged that weight loss doesn't automatically equal happiness.

She told Dr. Oz:

"It's not like all of a sudden you change and, boom, you lose the weight, everything's

fine, you got on a size 10, life is great.

You're having amazing sex.

Nothing is wrong.

It doesn't work that way."

By 2016, O'Donnell had lost over 50 pounds, according to People.

Jennifer Hudson

Singer turned actress Jennifer Hudson is known for her 80-pound weight loss nearly as much

as she is for her Oscar-winning performance in Dreamgirls.

She initially started to lose weight for the title role in the 2011 film Winnie Mandela,

telling People,

"Whatever it takes to morph into the character, I'll do it.

I wasn't going to starve myself for anyone."

Hudson first hired celeb trainer Harley Pasternak.

Then she started doing Weight Watchers.

In 2014, when she stopped doing the ads for the company, she said,

"My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing.

I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me."

Gabourey Sidibe

Since she rose to fame in 2009's Precious, Gabourey Sidibe has seemed very comfortable

in her own skin.

But when she found out that she had type-2 diabetes at age 32, Sidibe knew she had to

change her life.

She quietly got bariatric surgery in 2016 and has been on a wellness journey ever since.

Keeping her weight loss tally a secret, Sidibe explained why she opted for surgery, telling

People,

"I truly didn't want to worry about all the effects that go along with diabetes.

I genuinely [would] worry all the time about losing my toes."

Ricki Lake

Actress and former talk show host Ricki Lake shot to fame in 1988's Hairspray.

She told ABC News,

"Being fat worked, and I think that was what was confusing for me for a long time in my

career."

When she reached 260 pounds and her acting roles dried up, she decided to make a significant

change.

Lake still battles her weight, telling Oprah in 2015, she loves how she feels, but wants

to be a healthy role model at any size:

"I love telling the world!

At the same time, I felt like I was perpetuating this obsession that we have with weight.

It's, it's like You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't."

Oprah

The billionaire talk show mogul has been living her best life for decades.

But Oprah revealed her ongoing struggles with weight, in her 2017 cookbook Food, Health

and Happiness, citing a "powerful need to please everybody on a never-ending basis"

which led to weight gain.

In 2015, Winfrey bought a share of Weight Watchers and started changing her thinking

about food, for good.

She told People in 2017 that she'd lost 42-and-a-half pounds with Weight Watchers, saying, "I finally

made peace with food."

Bare-bones repeal plan gains steam in Senate

Momentum for a �skinny� ObamaCare repeal bill is growing in the Senate as one by one

other measures to reform the nation�s healthcare law fall by the wayside.

Legislation to repeal ObamaCare with a two-year delay only secured 45 votes on Wednesday,

a day after a repeal-and-replace bill won just 43 votes in a procedural motion.

Those tallies suggest Senate Republicans may have to narrow their goals to win 51 votes

for legislation in the face of unified Democratic opposition.

Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), the No. 2 Senate Republican, told reporters Wednesday that

a scaled-down bill might be the best way to move forward on the issue, possibly by holding

a conference committee with the House, which approved a broader repeal-and-replace bill.

It �seems to have a lot of benefits, getting us to conference,� Cornyn said.

It�s even possible that Senate passage of a skinny bill could lead to quick action in

the House, which is scheduled to begin its recess at the end of the week.

One House GOP lawmaker close to leadership said it's possible the House could stay in

until Saturday to pass the skinny repeal bill, which would mean skipping a conference committee.

But the lawmaker said the course had not been decided.

It�s not clear that House Republicans would embrace an approach that would fall far short

of a full ObamaCare repeal.

The skinny bill would be expected to repeal ObamaCare�s individual and employer mandates,

as well as a tax on medical devices.

�We support the concepts in there, but it�s not a repeal, not even close to repeal,�

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) said in an interview with Bloomberg

TV.

�We see it as a vehicle to hopefully continue the negotiations.�

Likewise, Cornyn said the House-passed bill, which was rejected by many senators as not

doing enough to protect Medicaid, could serve as a �template� for conference negotiations.

While most of the ObamaCare bills being bandied about have Republican opponents, no GOP senators

have ruled out voting for the skinny bill � a development that could be music to Senate

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell�s (R-Ky.) ears.

Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.), perhaps the most vulnerable Republican up for reelection next

year, and conservative Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) both said they could support it.

�I look on it ... favorably,� said Heller, whose opposition to an earlier repeal-and-replace

bill killed that measure and drew friendly fire from a group aligned with President Trump

that ran ads criticizing him in Nevada.

Unlike the House and Senate replacement bills, the skinny bill wouldn�t cut Medicaid.

�I�ve always said I�m for healthcare reform, I�m not for entitlement reform,

and that makes it a healthcare reform bill and not an entitlement reform bill,� Heller

said.

It�s not certain that McConnell would have the votes to pass the skinny bill, however.

He can afford just two defections, and Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski

(R-Alaska) both voted against a motion to even open the debate the Senate is now having.

�I don�t know what would be in a skinny repeal bill.

That hasn�t been shared with us,� Collins said Wednesday.

Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and

John McCain (R-Ariz.) all said they needed to find out more about what would be in the

skinny bill before making a decision.

A spokesman for Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) said it �depends how skinny it is� when asked

whether Lee would support the bill.

Paul said he would prefer that if the skinny bill passes the Senate, it just be approved

by the House.

He said he wanted to avoid a conference committee where lawmakers could �stuff all the goodies

and all the bailouts back in there.�

�We�ll simply get back to where we were before and losing conservatives again,�

he said.

Heller also expressed concern that the massive cuts to Medicaid and the elimination of funding

for ObamaCare�s Medicaid expansion could be put back into the bill during conference.

Some senators said they thought the broader repeal-and-replace effort still had a chance

of passing after a conference committee, if amendments were added to it in conference.

Two key measures come from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who wants to let insurers sell plans outside

of ObamaCare's regulations, and Portman, who wants to add $100 billion to help people losing

Medicaid afford private coverage.

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said he thought a replacement bill could pass with those amendments

and that going to conference committee would buy time for the proposals to be scored by

the Congressional Budget Office.

If the skinny bill were actually to become law, experts and insurers say repealing the

mandate to buy insurance without having a replacement would destabilize health insurance

markets and spike premiums.

The Congressional Budget Office previously found that repealing the individual mandate

on its own would result in 15 million more uninsured people and raise premiums by about

20 percent.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association on Wednesday warned of �steep premiums increases

and diminished choices� if the mandate were repealed.

�A system that allows people to purchase coverage only when they need it drives up

costs for everyone,� the group said.

Many senators also aren�t ready to fall back on the bill after years of GOP promises

to repeal ObamaCare �root and branch.�

�The skinny plan is not a replacement.

I would vote for a skinny plan to get in conference to come up with a replacement,� Sen. Lindsey

Graham (R-S.C.) said.

�If I thought that was all the conference was going to do, no, I wouldn�t vote for

it.�

bulunan bazı yapılar birbirlerine inanılmaz derece benzerlik göstermektedir.

Bundan önceki Ay'ın Karanlık Yüzü ve Gizemleri isimli videomuzda bu konuyu işlemiştik.

Fakat ortaya çıkan bazı yeni bulgular iki yerin yüzeyin de km.lerce uzunluktaki dev

kulelerin varlığını göstermekte.

konusu oldu.Görüntülerde Ay'ın yüzeyinde 6 adet dev kule saptadıklarını belirten

komplo teorisyenleri her biri yaklaşık 5 km. yükseklikte olan kulelerin Dünya dışındaki

canlılar tarafından Ay'a konulduğunu ileri sürdü.

Bir UFO kanalı tarafından yapılan iddiada Ayda 6 adet dev kule keşfettiklerini iddia

ettiler . Kanal, aydan en az altı "kule bulduğunu

iddia ediyor.

İkisinin koordinatlarını veriyorlar: 1.

How to make a steampunk gauntlet from foam PART 2. DIY cosplay robot arm - Duration: 9:04.

All right, welcome to the second half of "How to Make a Steampunk Robotic

Mechanical Arm." Thanks for joining me and if you've missed out on the first video,

you can find it in the link below or in the little "eye" thing that comes up in the

top corner. Before we jump back into making the arm I thought I'd give you a

360-degree view of the finished piece, just so you can refer back to it if you

need clarity on where something is supposed to go. But we can't just sit

around looking at arm spinning in space. Let's get back to work.

Make the ventilation duct by gluing piece 32 on top of piece 31 and then

gluing that down onto piece 16 which looks a lot like the letter E. Now you

can glue that big old letter E on the inside of the arm. Flip the arm over and

glue piece 17 in place and accessorize it with a few fake rivets. Let's make the

hydro accelerating cylinder by gluing the ends of piece 15 together. Glue the

end cap piece 53 on to the flat side, tacking it down on one point and then

the opposite point and then working your way around it with the glue. Piece 19

gets glued to the back of the arm and then the hydro accelerating chamber gets

glued into that. Now you can cover up the seam on the chamber by cutting a 12

millimeter wide strip of foam and wrapping it around the top edge. And make

some pinback rivets on the mounting plate. I guess we might as well make the

bicep manifold now so take piece 22 and make a tube, then take your end pieces

which are piece number 14, heat them up with a hairdryer and use your hands to

shape them into a dome shape. Glue those domes on each end of the tube. Cut a 10

millimeter wide foam strip and wrap it around each end of the cylinder. This

covers up the seam between the cylinder and the dome cap. And let's put a third

strip in the center for reinforcement. Add the two mounting brackets to the

bottom which are piece 21 and then glue the entire bicep manifold assembly onto

the bicep. Glue piece 52 on the middle rung of the E and then glue on a whole bunch

of 12 millimeter circles,

which you can make look like screwheads by cutting two slots halfway down and

then removing the center piece. Now cut some circles from thinner foam and glue

them into place. A couple half circles up here and three circles up here that we

don't make into screw heads then go crazy with your pen making all kinds of

rivets with the back of it, with the front of it,

drawing lines with it, making more rivets, until your arm is just full of rivets.

Since you're probably all sweaty and stinky from all that fast paced pen work,

grab your bottle of roll-on deodorant and use it up on yourself. You're going

to smell so fresh. Now you can carefully pop the top off

with a screwdriver and pull out that fancy little ball. Cut a strip of foam

about half the depth of your ball. This will of course depend on the size of the

ball in the deodorant you're using. Glue the ball into the foam strip and then

the foam strip onto the arm. Add a few more dots and then pull out your pen and go

crazy again.

All right it's time to wire this thing up. Make two holes in the front panel of

the acid core unit, grab some wire and route it as shown here. In other videos

I've shown you this technique using line trimmer wire but I found this big spool

of wire at the thrift store and it's actually a lot easier to use because you

don't have to heat it up to bend it. If you don't have a thrift store or your

thrift store doesn't have big rolls of wire, you can find some at your local

hardware store. When you have the wires the way you want them you can superglue

them down onto the foam. Let's run a third wire from the front of the acid

core unit to the side of the gears and things panel. Run a wire from the middle

receptacle on the top of the arm around the bicep manifold and into the circle

on the center rung of the E. Run a wire from the top of the bicep manifold to the

first receptacle and a wire from the bottom of the bicep manifold to the

third receptacle. Run one from the bottom of the hydro accelerating cylinder up and

around into piece 17. And another one from piece 17 this time into

the side of the hydro accelerating cylinder. Why not add a bit of variety

with a piece of quarter-inch vinyl tubing. Sweet.

Cut off your elbow hinges leaving about seven millimeters sticking out. Heat it

up with your glue gun and spread the rivet out I use the back of a

screwdriver alright now you get to paint it black and

for the best results with my metallic paints later I give it three coats. Just

try not to paint the inside edge of the lip around the gears and things or the

two-piece number 12s. While we're waiting for the black paint to dry let's

put together the hand piece: Piece 34 on top of 33 and that goes on piece 18. And

piece 35 and two dots. Glue the ends of piece 8 together and curve and glue

piece 18 on top. Notice that the front edge of piece 18 sits a

little ways back from the front edge of piece 8 add a dot and some fake

rivets and that's it for the hand piece. Now you can do most of your finishing

painting with your metallic paints. I won't go into detail here but I'll try

and make another video with some of my painting techniques. You can find the

paints I use in the description below the video.

Grab some bamboo skewers, cut them to length, and glue them in place to create

a grate to protect your gears and things from harm,

and then paint them up. Now you can watch my video, "How to Make a Fake Hydraulic

Piston" and make one of your own. Find a video link in the upper right corner or

the description below. Make it with the half-inch PEX pipe being 11 1/2

centimeters long. Once your cylinder is done, set it aside and grab another piece

of half-inch PEX pipe. Mark and drill a hole 12 millimeters up from one end.

You're going to use a short piece of bamboo skewer to go through this hole so

that's the diameter you want it to be. Stack to piece number 13s on top

of each other and glue them together. Push your pipe through the center hole

and then insert the wooden dowel. Shove the whole contraption into one of the

disks with the wooden dowel going into the cutout slot. Slide the foam nut all

the way down and then the cylinder on top of that. Mark the top edge of the

cylinder and drill a small pilot hole four millimeters above that line and

lined up with the hole on the other end. Follow that hole and drill right through

the pipe with a drill bit that will fit your quarter inch tubing. It's best if

the tubing can fit nice and snug through that hole. And cut your pipe a little bit

above the hole you just drilled. Wrap a piece of aluminum tape around the pipe,

cutting the tape away where the holes are. Stick the dowel back in its hole and

glue it all in place in the arm. Push the foam nuts over the pipe and

glue them down to the circular piece. This does a really good job of making a

nice secure pivot point for the cylinder. Repeat this whole process for the top

pivot point and then paint those nuts. Then slide the hydraulic piston over the

pivot points and push through a piece of quarter inch tubing to lock it into

place. The end of the hose from the upper pivot

point will go into the top of the hydro accelerating chamber. The end of the

lower hose goes into the back of the acid core unit. A bit of glue to make

sure it stays in place and a fake screw head on top. For the hand cylinder cut two

1/2 inch pipes and two 3/8 inch pipes all 6.6 centimeters long, as well

as four half inch pipes 1.8 centimeters long. These cylinders will

get made pretty much the same way as your first one did, the only difference

is I want a stop on the inside of the cylinder to keep it from pulling out.

We'll do this by cutting a thin strip from a plastic lid three and a half

centimeters long and gluing that piece into one end of the cylinder. I try to

get it kind of in the right place and then I go back with my glue gun and heat

it up from the inside without any glue so it forms to the inside of the tube

and sticks there you just want to make sure you don't get too much glue on the

inside or your other pipe's not going to fit through the hole. Add a little bit of

glue along the top edge and then check to make sure that your inside pipe is

still going to fit in there. Cut a five millimeter wide by 30 centimeter long

strip of aluminum tape and wrap it around the back end of the smaller

cylinder. Cover the outside of your large cylinder with some tape. Now slide the

smaller tube in the bigger one and glue the ends on. Paint them all up then grab

your 7/16 inch tubing and using the hinged rivet technique,

attach them between the arm and the hand piece. And that's the last thing you're

ever going to need to paint black.

Well that's it! All done. You are now the

proud owner of a super awesome robotic steampunk arm. Show your friends show your

We live in a society where mainstream news is often preached.

Many people don�t think to exercise skepticism when watching the news because they don�t

realize that the very organizations that claim to be reporting world events objectively are

actually just misinforming people by spreading propaganda and fake news.

Just because you read the daily news doesn�t mean you actually know what�s going on in

the world.

Mainstream media (MSM) has been known to go so far as to create both fake stories and

fake videos.

Most of the time this �fake news� is being generated because the government controls

mainstream media, and they are creating falsified information and spreading it through news

outlets in order to manufacture a heightened state of fear and security to increase their

control over the population.

Mainstream media is also heavily affected by corporate interests, and is usually more

concerned with increasing profits than reporting on real news.

The government has also been involved in creating fake news stories; for example, the Pentagon

paid a PR firm over $500 million to create fake terrorists videos.

An example that comes to mind is when mainstream media claimed Assad launched a chemical weapons

attack earlier this year, when in reality there was no chemicals weapons attack.

That story was completely fabricated, and numerous journalists and political figures

debunked it, including Seymour Hersh.

More examples were discussed in a Russia Today interview featuring Sibel Edmonds, a former

FBI translator and the founder of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition.

Edmonds explained that ISIS was actually created by the U.S. in order to facilitate a brand

change, shifting the attention from Al-Qaeda to ISIS.

Al-Qaeda was starting to die down, so they needed to create a heightened state of fear

about another terrorist group, which is part of the reason the U.S. funded ISIS so heavily.

Edmonds also goes on to discuss Western media�s role in the creation of ISIS, as they further

perpetuate the fear and fake stories surrounding these �terrorist attacks.�

Another example was when MSM reported that Russia bombed a hospital in Syria, when in

reality that hospital still stands.

The fake �al Quds hospital� news story was spread by CNN and PBS, and stated that

Russian airstrikes took down the hospital in April 2015, killing innocent civilians

� none of which is true.

In fact, Russia released satellite imagery proving that the hospital was still standing

later in the year.

hoax and fake MSM news reports on the Syrian war:

Another example would be the way in which Western media paints the White Helmets, depicting

them as a group of heroic people that supply aid to civilians suffering as a result of

the Syrian war.

In reality, this group is funded by the West and actually aids the very terrorists the

West claims to be fighting.

The irony is thick, and you can read more about the White Helmets in our CE article

The perspective that a lot of people seem to have on watching MSM is that you�re �damned

if you do, damned if you don�t.� In other words, you want to be informed, you need to

be informed, but in reality you may be misinformed as a result of watching it.

However, many people simply don�t know where to access independent news.

Denzel Washington raised this very point, which you can watch below:

Misinformation aside, the other issue for many people is information overload.

Sometimes, the fear mongering that takes place on these networks can be overwhelming, especially

because a lot of it is unnecessary to listen to because it�s fake/propaganda.

Plus, since there�s so much information coming at us from different perspectives,

with the right spewing one agenda and the left spewing another, it can be confusing

for people who actually want to learn.

At the end of the day, it�s up to you as the viewer to find the truth.

It�s important to be skeptical of the information that�s being presented to you because there�s

just so much misinformation out there.

The irony is that although CE views MSM as the creators of fake news, in all likelihood

MSM would view us as �fake news� as well.

Ultimately, it�s up to you to decide.

What agenda is behind these news networks?

Who�s funding them?

Could corporations be paying to have this content created?

Does the U.S. government or the elite benefit from spreading this story?

These are only a few of the questions you should be asking yourselves while watching

or reading the news.

Bottom line: Do your own research.

Schools are scared of being the targets of a lawsuit when some jerk in school busts up

some other kid's glasses in gym class.

11 – No Bikes • In some countries, it's unheard of for

students to not walk or bike to school.

• Meanwhile, American schools are hard at work making sure kids can't bike to school.

• Many schools are afraid of the traffic risks involved in letting kids ride their

bikes to school.

• The same school districts passing these bans are also warning parents not to let their

kids walk to school.

10 – No Best Friends • It's not that these schools – most

of them in the U.K. don't want kids to have friends.

They just can't have BEST friends.

• They want kids to have "lots of good friends."

• There's something to be said for preventing the kinds of "cliques" that tend to exclude

people from being in on anything fun.

• But chances are, kids will just start calling each other "best friend" in secret,

like they're smoking in the bathroom or something.

9 – No Backpacks • At Jackson High School in Jackson, Michigan,

students can't carry bookbags into the classroom because of… safety, apparently?

• The ban forced students to take the five-minute period between classes to go back to their

lockers and grab their books and supplies for their next class.

• Eventually they found a compromise.

Clear and mesh backpacks are now allowed… but hoodies are now also banned.

8 – No Bake Sales • It didn't last very long, but there

was a time that Massachusetts school actually banned bake sale fundraisers.

• What was the reason for this?

Were they concerned about health code violations, or allowing fundraising for questionable organizations?

• Nah.

They just didn't think the bake sales brought enough nutritional value to the table.

Because apparently the point of a bake sale is to be part of a balanced diet, not to sell

delicious sweets to raise money for a field trip or something.

7 – No Black Makeup • A 13-year-old goth kid was sent home from

a school in Hamiton, Ohio, for wearing black lipstick, eye makeup, and fingernail polish.

• Now, black makeup isn't banned by the school, technically.

Neither is makeup on a boy.

• So the school reached deep on the ban hammer on this one and sent him home for a

regulation that bans "extreme or distracting" makeup.

6 – No Braids • Massachusetts strikes again, this time

when they punished two students for wearing braided hair extensions.

• The extensions were technically against the school's dress code, but it didn't

take long for people to figure out that those restrictions were extra harsh on students

of color.

• The state's attorney general and the ACLU had to get involved before the students'

punishments were revoked and the dress code restrictions were revised.

5 – No Yoga Pants • A number of schools in the United States

and Canada are moving to ban girls from wearing yoga pants, unless worn under a skirt or shorts.

• Some schools have tried to justify it by saying it's trying to prepare students

for the "real world."

The argument is that it's important to have students wear clothes that are appropriate

for work.

• Of course, they still allow shorts, soooo…

4 – No Silly Bandz • There was about a two-week period in which

Silly Bandz were a big craze, and everybody wanted them.

• Naturally, schools in New York, Texas, Florida and Massachusetts all jumped on board

banning them almost immediately.

• Apparently, it wasn't enough to just tell kids to stop playing with them or trading

them during class.

They had to go nuclear with an all-out ban.

3 – No Dinosaurs, Birthdays, or Halloween • It's not that nobody can SAY the words

"dinosaur," "birthday," "Halloween," "dancing," or "poverty."

• But in 2012, the New York Department of Education removed references to all of those

things in all of New York City's standardized tests.

• The intention was apparently to remove any reference to anything even remotely controversial

to anyone.

This way nobody gets triggered by having to talk about evolution, or Footloose.

2 – No Exposed Collarbones • The dress code for Woodford County Schools

is a bit strict.

Students aren't allowed to wear any sort of shirt that dips below the collarbone.

• Now, that sounds like the type of rule that's technically there, but not strictly

enforced.

But no.

• One girl was sent home for wearing this completely nondescript outfit.

She wore the exact same thing again a week later, but with a scarf to cover up her collarbone,

and was sent home again.

• The school superintendent defended the dress code by saying the school was trying

to create "a safe learning environment."

1 – No Baggy Pants…

OR Tight Pants • Baggy pants haven't really been a thing

since the 1990s, but that hasn't stopped schools from trying to regulate them.

• Schools in Florida and Chicago have pulled the "distracting attire" justification

out again to ban baggy pants.

• Meanwhile, North Carolina schools are banning skinny jeans.

So basically, as long as everyone comes to school wearing a big brown sack tied at the

neck, you'll all be okay.

• Or wait… would that count as "baggy pants?

The Most Overacted Moments In Movie History - Duration: 7:17.

Even the best actors have their melodramatic moments, but every once in awhile, a performance

goes from "a little over the top" to "insane."

Maybe these performances are so over the top they circle back around to brilliant, or maybe

they're just embarrassing.

Either way, these clips offer examples of overacting at its finest.

John Alderton in Zardoz

Everything about 1974's Zardoz is weird.

It features Sean Connery with a long braid and rocking the Borat swimsuit look for most

of the film.

It's a bizarro, trippy movie about a godlike creature called Zardoz who talks through a

giant stone head, a group of immortals who don't believe in sex or sleep, and Connery

running around with his copious body hair on display.

But Connery doesn't earn the scene-chewing crown.

That honor goes to actor John Alderton, playing an immortal named "Friend" ...

"I hate all women.

Birth, fertility, superstition."

And that's just a taste.

If this scene seems confusing, don't worry.

It doesn't make any more sense in the context of the film either.

"I will, I will not go to second level with you!"

But you have applaud Alderton for making the most of his odd moment in this terribly strange

film.

Nicolas Cage in Vampire's Kiss

You can't talk about overacting without talking about Nicolas Cage, and Vampire's Kiss is

one of his early moments of over-the-top glory.

Long before his Wicker Man remake found him screaming about bees and punching a woman

while wearing a bear suit, he released what might actually be the craziest movie of his

career.

1988's Vampire's Kiss stars Cage as an ad exec who gets bitten and thinks he's turning

into a vampire—and apparently vampires are 100 percent insane, because that's how Cage

plays his metamorphosis …

"I never misfiled anything!

Not once!

Not one time!"

"I'm sure that you didn't."

Oh to be a fly on the wall as this scene was filmed.

If the crew wasn't desperately holding back laughter, they must have been looking for

the exits.

John Travolta in Battlefield Earth

John Travolta wanted to bring the central mythology of Scientology to life with Battlefield

Earth.

Instead, he created one of the worst movies of all time—and gave a completely bizarre

performance in the bargain.

Battlefield Earth is about a terrible race of dreadlocked aliens who have enslaved humanity.

Travolta stars as the main bad guy, Terl.

Travolta decided Terl was a guy who loved a good laugh, doling out his version of an

evil chuckle in almost every scene …

"I do what I can."

"It's a joke."

If the goal was to make these gross aliens as unappealing as possible, then Travolta

actually did a perfect job.

A job we never want to watch again.

Michael Sheen in Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

Michael Sheen is a wonderful actor.

He's turned in brilliant performances on TV in Masters of Sex, and on the big screen in

Frost/Nixon, among many other notable roles.

But when it came to Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, he went a little crazy as the

evil Aro.

In fact, in a series filled with unintentionally funny moments, Sheen's bizarre giggle might

stand out as the most memorable ...

It's funny every time.

Sheen actually offered an explanation of his big moment to MTV, saying that since his character

has been alive for centuries and centuries, he's probably incredibly bored and gets hysterical

when something actually unexpected happens.

It really does make perfect sense when you think about it—which means Sheen managed

to turn an over-the-top moment into a secretly brilliant acting choice.

Bravo.

Ellen McElduff in Maximum Overdrive

Author Stephen King decided he wanted to give moviemaking a try, so he adapted his short

story "Trucks" into 1986's Maximum Overdrive.

The good things about the film: a full score by AC/DC.

The bad things: everything else.

A story about machines coming to life and trying to kill all humans manages to make

even less sense than you'd think.

This was King's first time directing a film, and he later admitted that one major issue

with the movie was that his co-director was cocaine.

Despite all the problems, the film has one incredible highlight: the waitress.

Actress Ellen McElduff makes the most of her limited screen time …

"We made you!

Didn't you understand?

You can't do this!"

If you're going to have a small part in a crappy film, at least make it memorable.

"You can't!

We made you!"

Brian Blessed in Flash Gordon

1980's space opera Flash Gordon sure had an interesting cast: Brian Blessed, an acclaimed

British Shakespearean actor with a big voice and personality, and Max von Sydow, a frequent

collaborator with Ingmar Bergman who's considered one of Sweden's greatest actors, played second

fiddle to Sam J. Jones, a former contestant on The Dating Game.

Watching Flash Gordon, you get the sense that Blessed knew he wasn't winning any Oscars

for the film, so he just had as much fun as humanly possible playing a winged man who

flies around in leather briefs and a breastplate while Queen plays on the soundtrack.

Why not go over the top, right?

"Oh well.

Who wants to live forever?

Ha ha ha!

Dive!"

Kenneth Branagh in Wild Wild West

In yet another example of a Shakespearean actor trying to bring a bit of theatrical

flair to a role in a very silly blockbuster, Kenneth Branagh played the villainous Dr.

Loveless in 1999's Wild Wild West.

An infamous flop that snapped Will Smith's remarkable '90s streak, the film is suspiciously

devoid of humor for an action thriller/sci-fi/comedy hybrid.

Among all the failed jokes, we have the spectacle of Branagh.

His portrayal of Loveless is so consistently over the top, wildly veering from dramatic

to simply insane, he's at least always interesting to watch.

"It's me, dear friends!

Alive and kicking.

Well, alive, anyway."

"Mi casa es su casa.

Faites comme chez vous.

Let the party begin!"

Branagh knows that a villain who winds up in a giant steampunk spider is not a man for

subtlety.
