RETURN FIRE What Trump Said About Joe Scarborough Last Night Has Everyone Going Crazy!

By Lindsey Bruce

The liberal media lost their minds this week when President Trump tweeted about MSNBC hosts

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

Scarborough claimed that Trump was not acting presidential by tweeting, and a petition

was even created to have Trumps twitter account shut down.

Last night, President Trump responded to Joes accusation that he is not acting presidential,

and his words drove the haters CRAZY!

MY USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL ITS MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!TRUMP TWEETED.

Trump also explained why he will continue to speak his mind no matter how much liberals

whine

The truth is, President Trump IS a modern day president and its why we voted for

him.

For too long conservatives have had to endure wimpy republican leaders who cower to the

dishonest media.

We love Trump because he is a fighter, and if he fights this hard against his enemies

in the media, just imagine how hard he will fight against the enemies of our country!

Keep up the good work Mr. President!

💥Himalayan Salt Lamp Night Light 🌞Color Changing CHEKUE Product Review 👈w - Duration: 4:50.

this is my new Himalayan Salt Lamp night light it came with two bulbs one

bulb is regular and the other is a color changing bulb

the regular bulb is a 15 watt incandescent bulb you can see it's very

easy to change in one bulb to the other

screw it off to meet a schedule so here's about out of the box on the

back it shows total to the origins of the crystal salt lamp and the effect

and maintenance of crystal salt lamps

the covering for the light is made of Himalayan rock salt the salt crystals

come from rocks that are quarry near the Himalayan mountains we'll plug this in

and show you the difference between the regular and color changing

here's what the white light looks like

it's a very bright night light and it has a very attractive design now I'm going to

change the color changing bulb

you

you

the color-changing bulb cycles from one color to the next

I do have a larger salt lab that's too bright to be used as a nightlight so I was

really eager to get this I don't think the camera accurately picks up how

beautiful this light is there are so many places that this can be placed in

the home in the bedroom as a nightlight in the bathroom and hallway

it is so attractive that it doesn't have to be hidden away what can be added to

the decor I personally like the color-changing but it's great to have

the option of using either maybe for a baby's room the clear white bulb might

be more relaxing

salt lamps are said to be natural air purifiers that can ease allergies through

smooth and promotes sleep when the salt rock is heated by the warmth of

the bulb the salt emits negative ions that combine the positive ions in the home

positive ions do not associate with positive things and they can come from dust

pollen dander and cigarette smoke Himalayan salt is naturally in the orange and

peachy color palette so this allows you to enjoy different colors as well red

blue green purple as well the orange color is so pretty

these are so pretty and useful it might be necessary to have several of these around the

house the salt lamp is a great addition to anyone's home it would great

uniqueness anyone's decor thanks for watching

Croatia 2017 | Vlog 26 - Duration: 14:48.

good morning

it is Wednesday

and

I have together with Arild and the doctor

decided to skip the training camp at Oppdal

I have now decided to go on a trip.

Last night I ordered some tickets to Croatia

Now the clock is 5 in the morning

My flight is leaving in two hours

So now I'm ready for some sun

Croatia,

Here I come

Are you awake?

Yeah, I'm wide awake

I managed to sleep after my alarm, but I still made it

Are you awake Endre?

No

It's not that bad

the problem is that I didn't sleep so much

I fell asleep 02:00 am

the clock is 05:00 am now

Split, Croatia

Of course it is cloudy here

It isn't so bad

We have anyhow landed

We have also rented a car

I am very "exited" to see the car

Yeah.... It is an Chevrolet

But look here..

Porsche Split

So I think it is an Porsche with an chevrolet logo

And we have got the Porsche

And listen to the motor

We are now in Croatia

and

the sun is shining and it's too hot here

The beach is down here

So now we just gotta check in to the hotek and go down to the beach

Croatia is at least hot and it's showing off from it's best side

We are ready for the sun and get tan now

Do you catch?

No

We are ready for a little competition

rock, paper, scissors underwater

Two of us have glasses, one hasn't

A bit easier for us to see if we win or lose

The loser have to go pick up the gopro at the seafloor

I don't think you saw it, but Endre lost

So I'm not sure if I see you later gopro

We're going to follow the camera all the way to the bottom

and then we just have to wait and see

I got it

The plan is to run one hour uphill

before we're going back to the hotel

and then we go to the beach

to try to get tan

We don't use one hour to the top in my tempo...

See you on the top

We are now finished with an hour of running in pretty cool terrain

a lot of uphills

My two friend, which are exerciser have joined me

and we saw a snake

someone got really scared

but

we're done

the clock is 09:00 am

and now we're going back to the beach again

a bit sunburned on my shoulders from yesterday, but except that, everything is good

But here we go beach

We have now rided the watercraft

He has filled up his lungs with water

It hurts in my legs cause I used them to hold on to the watercraft

The sun isn't here today and it's a bit cold

It is very funny regardless

Brage drives like a pig

I had full control

but now you're going home Brage

I'm going back to cold Norway

Norway has been sunny when we where here

take the bad weather her with you to Norway

It wasn't so good weather here today

Now we gonna drive Brage to the airport

and finally get rid of him

tomorrow is going to be nice, with very good weather

Tomorrow is going to help our tan

Thanks for the trip

See you soon

Do you know how to get to the plane?

Of course

The clock is 07:30 am

Johannes and me had planned to go running now, but I'm going to show you what he's doing

He isn't in his best shape today

He is inside here

We're done with training here in Croatia

We had a strenght training at the hotel room

I saw that Endre filmed me this morning

He was a earlybird today

but my body wasn't as good as I hoped

When I wake up and feel a bit tired, I need to sleep a bit more to keep the energy up

We didn't manage to run, but hopefully my shape will be a bit better in a few days

We are so ready for getting to the beach now

Yesterday was raining

Today it's sunny

and now we are ready to get more tan

It's good to swim now

It is the nicest day and the best weather

It's the last day of this vacation

We have been driving watercrafts

and been swimmimg

we're just chilling on this last day

We're just going to do the same the rest of the day

Why are you so wet?

I'm trying to catch the lightening on tape

I have been standing out in the rain in a few minutes

Did you guys see that? Did you see the lightening?

So now we're going to eat

Ready to go?

Yes

finally

just kidding

I don't wanna go home

So now we're coming back to Trondheim

Finished with the trip

A bit shady car, but now we're going back to the airport and deliver the car and get to the plane

These days has been good for me

I'm ready to start training again

even though we have trained a bit here, but not so much

Now I'm going home to do my job and get back in good shape

Thanks for a nice trip and I like this place actually

The weather was good as well

We are happy

It's going to be good to get back to Trondheim and start training now

Trondheim, Norway

We're back in Norway

It was great weather here

Maybe 25 degrees

Now we're going straight back to the beach to get tan

I'm looking forward to get tan now

Johanna Konta Wimbledon 2017 first round press conference - Duration: 1:30.

I'm feeling well. I said after I'd hit on Sunday,

yesterday, that that was kind of the first test to see how I was doing.

I felt absolutely fine. And it was no different today.

I think I played a little bit better. I think I made it maybe a little tougher

for her to get into the match. However, again, it doesn't take much

for there to be a momentum swing or for her to gain some more footing on the court.

I knew that in the match, that it was going to be tricky

till the very end. She's quite a tricky player to play.

She doesn't give you too much rhythm. I was really just trying to stay

as focused on what I was trying to do out there,

and not necessarily get caught up in her web.

I'm definitely entered in this event to perform the best that I can

I'm really working incredibly hard to be involved as long as I can.

In terms of potential winners, I mean, technically anyone in the draw

is eligible to be crowned here. I think it's been proven time and time again

how the strength in women's tennis is getting better and better.

I can't give you an exact number, but I'm definitely looking forward to

competing in as many matches as I can. 19 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:00,000

When To Start Investing In Stock Market! - Duration: 5:05.

So when is a good time to start investing at what age at what point of your life is a good time to start?

investigating the stock market

Well, I wish I could go back in time and tell myself ten fifteen years ago

Hey buy some stock start buying some stock every couple thousand dollars you have extra

Just put it in the stock market let it sit there for a couple years and you'll be rich one day Fatrick

Just put all your money in the stock market now and trust me. It's a good opportunity well

I can't go back in time now

And I can't start over, but I can't

Start investing today the big problem a lot of people think is well the markets at an all-time high it's not a good time to

Invest the problem is if you don't buy today and the market goes up another ten Twenty Thirty

Percent the next couple months you just missed out, and it's like such a pain

Yes Because you really just have no idea where the top is

if you try to always catch the bottom if you would have bought at the top of every single market

Every single year when the market was at the top top and you bought at the top of last year you would still be ahead

Of the guy who didn't buy last year

So you know if I buy a stock last year is $100 out stocks

$150 this year it might have dipped down it might have went to 80 to 70 dollars at one point

But it's been at an all-time high so the market overall is just trending up up up and it's really been a safe

Investment over the years obviously there's always Gonna

be those stocks are going to crash or stocks are out of business and

Stocks are going to lose on but the overall markets the safe bet companies the strong companies the companies that are innovators in their industries

company like the video companies Like Facebook Google

Amazon these kinds of companies aren't going anywhere and obviously their stock goes higher and higher so look at Amazon Amazon with $600 last year

Now it's over $1000 this year so last year somebody told the guys that wanted to buy Amazon that don't buy Amazon

It's too high price

it's going to come down don't worry Amazon's coming back down from

$600 so don't buy it and the guy didn't buy it and they set there and you watch it

Go to seven hundred eight hundred nine hundred announced a thousand Dollars

And you might be buying it now four hours

More center than you could have bought it last year really the big thing is just to be consistent

so if you're going to start investing invest consistently

so if you put $1,000 into the market every month do it consistently don't just wait and

Sit around and go well the markets at all-time high I'm not going to buy this month

I'm not going to buy next month waiting for that pullback pullback might never come you might have one day where the you get a

big drop

And you can jump in right then you get lucky but overall the market has been

moving higher and higher and higher this has really been any great opportunity to get in if you would have been waiting and waiting and

Waiting for the big dip and it just doesn't come so the big thing is really

Start investing today. If you have extra money if you're interested in the stock market

You can't go wrong start investing start looking for safe companies

There's all kinds of different safe bets with Ets and different index funds you can get into that are going to be safer

Not as volatile as some of the stock side day trade

But overall when you're looking for company that you want to invest in find company

You're interested in find stocks that you have a passion for that. You can actually keep an eye on and play it safe

You can buy a company today, and it might go up

You know 10 20 percent next couple months

Take some profit off the top if you want to leave it in there a little bit longer

I know people who have been investing for the last 20 years

That have made millions and millions of dollars just holding those stocks for 20 years

and

They just sitting back on a beach in the Caribbean now on at a mansion and just laughing all the way the bank and I

Wish that somebody would have told me this advice 10 years ago. They don't talk about the stock market when you're in high school

They don't tell you about investing. They don't talk about stock says oh the stock Market's

it's a thing, but you don't really think about actually going and buying a stock to invest a

frustrating thing because I really wish

Somebody would have explained the idea of the stock market 10 years ago when I was a kid

And I had extra money sitting around even if I had to put five hundred dollars a hundred dollars into a stock every single month

Since the day I turn 18. I would be up pretty big if out about a company like NVIdia Ten years ago

Whew I'd have a lot of money right now on that stock that's one of the things I'm doing today. I'm looking for opportunity

I'm looking for stocks that I think have a good trajectory over the next 10 years stocks

I can buy today thinking that they're going to go up another 100 300 400 500 percent over the next 10 years and

Looking for those opportunities. You're not always going to find the biggest best stock ever, but there's going to be opportunities

We're going to get in you're going to get lucky company like Whole foods market got bought out for ten dollars over the trading price

so some guy who bought Whole Foods market last week at

$32 now his stock is up for $2 he made ten dollars in a week

He didn't know what's going to happen, but there's always those possibilities

so

Overall the best thing you can do is start investing start washing the market and get an idea of sake you're interested in and start

investing today

Don't wait till tomorrow

And you know really just kind of set a goal like I want to buy this

Shares of this company over the next three or four months and build my position in that and

Have an investment and I'm going to let it sit there for 10 years

I'm Gonna Let it

Just ride for the next 10 years and see what happens a lot of people making a lot of money when they start investing

The worst thing you can do is this sitting out and not investing you know putting that money in

Other ways putting it in a savings account

or just letting it sit under your bed and

The big thing if you're interested in the market if you're interested investing the best thing you can do is start investing today?

Don't wait till tomorrow

TOUR the Hilti Western Hemisphere Firestop Testing Facility - Duration: 3:39.

Welcome to the Hilti Western Hemisphere Product Development Center.

You're in our North America firestop testing facility, where we test all of our fire protection

products in accordance with UL, CUL and ASTM standards.

There are two furnaces in this facility.

The one on the left is used to test floor or ceiling applications, while the one to

the right is for wall applications.

The testing process begins in our prep area.

In this example, the assemblies consist of plastic, insulated and non-insulated pipe penetrations.

Hilti Firestop solutions like FS 1 Max, and firestop collars are installed around the pipes.

Once the assemblies are built, we add thermocouples to measure heat transfer through the assembly

and the pipes as required by the testing standards.

As final touches are put on the assembly, technicians prepare the furnace and afterburner.

The afterburner is a high powered incinerator that burns the smoke and gases generated by

the test itself.

When it's ready, the assembly is carefully secured to the furnace.

Lead wires from the thermocouples are attached to the monitoring system and tracked with

our computer program.

With a mouse click, the furnace's burners are ignited and the test begins.

Within a few minutes, the PVC pipes and insulation on the fire side of the wall melt away,

causing them to ventilate smoke into the room.

Heat causes graphite in the products to expand, creating a seal that continuously expands

as long as the heat is applied.

This closes the pipes and limits the passage of smoke and harmful gases into other parts

of a building.

After 10 minutes, the temperature in the furnace is 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit.

A standard burn will last between one and four hours, depending on the assembly being tested.

As the last few seconds tick away in this one-hour test, the temperature in the furnace is 1,700 degrees Fahrenheit.

Our products have done their job to protect the penetrations, and to keep the fire on

one side of the wall.

As you can see, there's not much left of the pipes exposed to the fire.

The fire-side of the assembly will now be subjected to a powerful stream of water.

We use an authentic, fire-service hose and nozzle during the test.

Distance from the wall, water pressure and spray duration are all dictated by ASTM and UL test standards.

As the water hits the superheated sheetrock,

it practically explodes from the thermal shock and impact of water.

This type of test helps determine the structural integrity of the firestop systems.

As the charred wall disintegrates most of the assemblies and leftover pipe go with it,

but on the non-fire side, the assemblies remain in place exactly as designed.

There is nothing quite as sickening as someone betraying their country.

Bowe Bergdahl was a former Army Sgt. who is on trial for abandoning his post in Afghanistan

in 2009.

According to Popular Military, they're now adding an extremely rare charge to his case

for putting his comrades at risk by walking away from his position.

Multiple people have come forward to talk about the ways in which Bowe's actions impacted

their lives.

On June 21st, a Navy Seal explained that his career ENDED because he was shot in the leg

while looking for Bergdahl.

He was trying to save Bowe's life, and it cost him his career.

Another member of our military stated that he witnessed Sgt.

Mark Allen shot in the head while looking for Bergdahl.

Allen now has brain damage, and is not capable of walking on his own, or properly communicating

anymore.

It's repulsive that this traitor thought he would get away with this.

Initially, he would have been sentenced to five years in prison for abandoning his post.

Now, due to these recent, rare charges, he could be facing life in prison.

Honestly, Bower DESERVES life in prison.

Because of him, there are heroes of this country who have had their lives RUINED.

It's unfair that Bowe should be allowed to live his life after five years while the

men who were trying to save him get a life sentence of pain, discomfort, and brain damage.

We applaud the judge for making the decision to step up, and do the right thing in this

case.

The judge understands that people must pay for their crimes, especially if the life of

another individual was impacted FOREVER.

The crazy thing about all of this is the fact that defense lawyers for Bowe are arguing

that the prosecution used faulty logic.

What in the world is faulty about this situation?

Someone who was supposed to be a member of their team abandoned the area without saying

a word to anyone.

He KNEW people were going to come looking for him.

When they came looking, people were injured in the process.

The blame is solely on Bowe.

If he never abandoned his position, those brave soldiers never would have been looking

for him, and therefore, would never have been injured.

This is another case of treason in this country, and it's getting old.

We need to make sure these people never get out of prison for betraying our country, and

the Patriots who fight for us every single day.

Do YOU think that Bowe should serve life in prison?

Please Share this news and tell us what you think!

PLACES IN DREAMS - Duration: 2:07.

Have you ever seen places in your dreams?

What kind of places did you see?

Were they beautiful?

What kind of place was it?

Was it somewhere you've never been to before?

Did any of these places feel familiar?

I've seen places in my dreams.

Some are common and void of meaning.

But some feel like a home.

A home that fills my dream with longing and purpose.

I want to visit these places with all my heart.

I want to see them!

I miss them!

I miss these places I've been to.

... Except for in my dreams.

One in particular stands out...

Cool, green grass...

Gentle breeze...

Flowing hills...

And ocean of hills.

Far off in the distance, an impossible mountain scraping the sky!

I hope to visit this place someday.

Social Groups: Crash Course Sociology #16 - Duration: 9:52.

"If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you jump too?"

It's the lament of many an exasperated parent, but it's also a kind of profound sociological question.

Because, when you're talking to your parents, the answer's always no.

But, with the right group of friends, you might be quite happy to take a dive in the water.

The thing is, you're a different person when you're a part of a group, and you're a different person in different groups.

A family, a group of friends out for a swim, a business meeting, and a choir are different kinds of groups.

And the same person can be a member of all of them.

So if we want to understand how these groups are different, and even how they're similar,

we need to talk about what social groups are, and why they matter, both to the people who are a part of them, and to the people who aren't.

[Theme Music]

The choir, the meeting, the friends, and the family are all examples of social groups.

A social group is simply a collection of people who have something in common and who believe that what they have in common is significant.

In other words, a group is partly defined by the fact that its members feel like they're part of a group.

This is obviously a pretty broad definition.

But it does have its limits, and you can see these limits if you compare social groups to aggregates and categories.

An aggregate is a set of individuals who happen to be in the same place at the same time.

All the people passing through Grand Central Station at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon are an aggregate,

but they aren't a group, because they don't share a sense of belonging.

Categories, meanwhile, consist of one particular kind of person across time and space.

They're sets of people who share similar characteristics.

Racial categories are a simple example.

So the sense of feeling like you belong to a group is a defining feature of a group.

But it also helps you differentiate kinds of groups, specifically between primary and secondary groups.

Primary groups are small and tightly knit, bound by a very strong sense of belonging.

Family and friendship groups are primary groups.

They're mutually supportive places where members can turn for emotional, social, and financial help.

And as far as group members are concerned, the group is an end-in-itself.

It exists to be a group, not for any other purpose.

Secondary groups, however, are the reverse.

These are large and impersonal groups, whose members are bound primarily by a shared goal or activity, rather than by strong emotional ties.

A company is a good example of a secondary group:

Employees are often loosely or formally connected to one another through their jobs, and they tend to know little about each other.

So there's a sense of belonging there, but it's much more limited.

That's not to say that coworkers never have emotional relationships.

In fact, secondary groups can become primary groups over time, as a set of coworkers spends time together and becomes a primary group of friends.

And while a gang of friends and a company clearly have a lot of differences, they also have at least one major similarity:

They're both voluntary – if you belong to that group, it's because you choose to join.

But there are also plenty of involuntary groups, in which membership is assigned.

Prisoners in a prison are members of an involuntary group, as are conscripted soldiers.

Now that we understand a little bit about what groups are, we can start to study how they work –

beginning with group dynamics, or the way that individuals affect groups, and groups affect individuals.

If we want to think about how individuals affect groups, a good place to start is with leadership.

Not all groups have formally assigned leaders, but even groups that don't, often have de facto leaders, like parents in a family.

A leader is just someone who influences other people in the group.

And there are generally two types of leadership:

an instrumental leader is focused on a group's goals, giving orders and making plans in order to achieve those goals.

An expressive leader, by contrast, is looking to increase harmony and minimize conflict within the group.

They aren't focused on any particular goal, they're just trying to promote the wellbeing of the group's members.

And just as leaders may differ in what they're trying to do, so too can they go about doing it in different ways.

I'm talking here about leadership styles, of which we have three.

Authoritarian leaders lead by giving orders and setting down rules which they expect the group to follow.

Such a leader earns respect, and can be effective in a crisis, but at the expense of affection from group members.

Democratic leaders on the other hand, lead by trying to reach a consensus.

Instead of issuing orders, they consider all viewpoints to try and reach a decision.

Such leaders are less effective during a crisis, but, because of the variety of different viewpoints they consider, they often find more creative solutions to problems.

And they're more likely to receive affection from their group's members.

Finally, laissez-faire leaders do the least leading.

They're extremely permissive, and mostly leave the group to function on its own.

This means lots of freedom, but it's the least effective style at promoting group solidarity and least effective in times of crisis.

So, leadership is one way that individuals affect groups, but groups also affect individuals.

You can see this especially clearly in group conformity, where members of a group hew to the group's norms and standards.

Basically, group conformity is the reason that you do jump off the bridge with your friends.

And this has been demonstrated in some fascinating experimental results.

Let's go to the Thought Bubble to learn about perhaps the most famous – or infamous – experiment on conformity.

The Milgram Experiment was run by American psychologist Stanley Milgram in 1974,

and it was presented as an experiment in punishment and learning, with two participants.

One participant was the teacher, who read aloud a series of word pairs and then asked the other participant, the student, seated in another room, to recall them.

The student was strapped to a chair and wired up with electrodes.

For each wrong answer, the experimenter, who was standing beside the teacher, instructed the teacher to deliver a painful electric shock to the student.

With each wrong answer, the intensity increased, from an unpleasant few volts up to 450 volts, a potentially deadly shock.

But the experiment was not about punishment or learning.

The student was actually an actor, a confederate of the experimenter, and the shocks were not real.

The experiment was designed to test how far the teacher would go in conforming to authority.

At some point in the experiment, the confederate would feign extreme pain and beg the teacher to stop.

Then he fell silent.

If at any point the teacher refused to issue the shock, the experimenter would insist that he continue.

In the end, 65% of participants went all the way, administering the presumably deadly 450 volt shock.

And this is usually given as proof that people tend to follow orders, but there's a lot more to it than that.

If the experimenter gave direct orders to the teacher, like "You must continue, you have no other choice," that resulted in non-compliance.

That's when the teacher was more likely to refuse.

The prods that did produce compliance were the ones that appealed, instead, to the value of the experiment –

the ones that said administering the shocks was necessary for the experiment to be successful and worthwhile.

So in this instance, the value of the experiment, of science, was a strongly held group value,

and it helped convince the subjects to continue, even though they might not have wanted to.

Thanks, Thought Bubble.

This idea of group values points us to another important concept in understanding conformity: the idea of groupthink.

Groupthink is the narrowing of thought in a group, by which its members come to believe that there is only one possible correct answer.

Moreover, in a groupthink mentality, to even suggest alternatives is a sign of disloyalty to the group.

Another way of understanding group conformity is to think about reference groups.

Reference groups are groups we use as standards to judge ourselves and others.

What's "normal" for you is determined partly by your reference groups.

In-groups are reference groups that you feel loyalty to, and that you identify with.

But you can compare yourself to out-groups, too, which are groups that you feel antagonism toward, and which you don't identify with.

And another aspect of a social group that can affect its impacts and dynamics is its size.

And here, the general rule is: the larger the group, the more stable, but less intimate, it is.

A group of two people is obviously the smallest and most intimate kind of group, but it's also the least stable.

Because, if one person leaves, there's no group anymore.

Larger groups are more stable, and if there are disagreements among members, other members are around who can mediate between them.

But big groups also are prone to coalitions forming within them, which can result with one faction aligning against another.

The size of a group matters in other ways, too, for instance in terms of social diversity.

Larger homogenous groups tend to turn inward, concentrating relationships within the group instead of relying on intergroup contacts.

By contrast, heterogenous groups, or groups that have more diversity within them, turn outward, with its members more likely to interact with outsiders.

Finally, it's worth pointing out that social groups aren't just separate clumps of people.

There's another way to understand groups, in terms of social networks.

This perspective sees people as nodes that are all socially interconnected.

You can imagine a "circle of friends" who are all connected to each other in different ways,

some with strong connections in a clique or subgroup, while some are connected by much weaker ties.

And you can follow the ties between all of the nodes outward, to friends-of-friends and acquaintances who exist on the periphery of the network.

Networks are important, because even their weak ties can be useful.

Think of the last time you were networking, following every connection you had to, say, land a job interview.

Regardless of whether you think about groups as networks and ties, or as bounded sets,

it's clear that they have important impacts on people, both inside and outside.

If you just looked at society as a bunch of individuals, you'd miss all the ways that groups impact our lives –

by acting as reference groups, by influencing our decisions through group conformity, and much more.

And groups are important for how society itself is organized.

So next time, we're gonna talk about one big part of that: formal organizations and bureaucracy.

For now, we've learned about social groups.

We talked about what social groups are and the different kinds of groups.

Then we discussed group dynamics: how individuals affect groups and how groups affect individuals.

We learned about leadership, group conformity, reference groups, and the impacts of group size.

And finally, we talked about groups as networks and why networks matter.

Sex for Pleasure & F*ckboys of the Bible *REUPLOADED* | Genesis 38 - Duration: 23:43.

if you have virgin ears, you might as well just turn it off right now because

you're not going to like this video. All of a sudden Judah is just like, "I

guess we're going to hold off on that uh 'whore burning' today because Tamar is more

righteous than me."

(Music plays)

Hey! It's Rachel. Today on Crack Your Bible, we are going to

be talking about a story that I guarantee that you have never heard told

like this before. This is going to be a companion video to

Friday's video, which is about the roles of men and women. I'm going to link it up

here. We are going to talk about what happens

when men "pump and dump" women, or use them for sex and then just throw them out.

When men abuse women, God has something to say about it. Now everybody who is a

Christian, they're familiar with like oh "Jesus is the Lion of Judah." And if you're

Catholic, you're aware of restrictions on contraceptives. So this is what we're

going to be talking about. We are going to be talking about the origin story

right here, right now. The Catholic Church does not understand this story. Most

pastors do not understand this story. So we are skipping ahead to Genesis 38

because this is a companion video to Friday's video, we'll talk about Genesis

7 at some point. I don't even know when. So, anyway. Let us just get into it. So

okay... I need to kind of set the stage for you. So imagine like 3,000 to 4,000 years

ago and you're in Israeli, Middle Eastern area. Okay so there is a family and there

are 12 brothers. And one of the brothers Joseph has just been sold into slavery

(Genesis 37:28-33 on screen) by his own brothers because they're jealous of him. And the brothers sold him into

slavery, but they told their dad, Isaac, that Joseph had been ripped apart

by wild animals, so he thought he was dead.

And one of the brothers' name is Judah. Jesus is called the "Lion of Judah"

because He comes from the tribe of Judah. So here's where we are in the story

because we have skipped over all of that backstory, so that we can answer this

question. Judah goes into the land of the

Canaanites - so people who are constantly mating with Nephilim that we've talked

about in Genesis 6. I'll link it right here. And he takes a wife for

himself. (Genesis 38:2-5 on screen) So

Judah and his wife, they have three sons. They have Er, Onan and Shelah. Yeah,

it's a... it's a man's name. And their firstborn, her marries this woman named

Tamar. Now

(Genesis 38:6-7 on screen) Er was evil so God killed him. God struck him dead. We don't know what

he did necessarily, but he was evil. God put him down.

So in that culture

you didn't have social services. You didn't have welfare. You didn't have WIC.

Everybody in the community needed to work together to survive. And women, once

they married somebody, they were part of that new family. Now they weren't part of

the their birth family, (Deuteronomy 25:5-10 on screen) so if something happened to their husband, and they

became a widow, they needed to marry another one of their husband's brothers

or relatives so that she could continue to be taken care of. Otherwise, she was

going to die. Period. Because in that culture, you didn't have a grocery store. You

couldn't just go out and like "okay, I'm going to go grab me a hamburger real

quick." No. You had to go hunt for your food. You had to go gather water. You had

to chop firewood. You can't do all of these things - spinning your own wool to

make your own clothes, if you're a single lady. You just can't do it. You

need a family around you and that is why children were so important. They were

imperative to a woman, because if a husband died, she was screwed. She was up a creek

because she didn't have protection. She didn't have somebody to make sure that

marauders or thieves didn't come get her, and rape her, or kill her, or take her off

into slavery. She didn't have somebody who could help with just the day-to-day,

you know, running of her life - as far as getting food or anything like that. So

she needs to have some sort of person to take care of her, whether that's a son or

a husband. So Tamar, when her first husband died, okay now its Onan's turn

(Genesis 38:8 on screen) to step up and marry Tamar, because Tamar - she is her husband's family's

responsibility. She needs them to take care of her and

if they don't, she will die. So it's imperative that she has a child. It's

like, "if you don't want to be with me, whatever, at least I have a son who can

take care of me and fend for me in my old age." But what does Onan do? Nope! Onan,

every time they're in bed together, going at it, having sex. What happens?

Right at the end, like right as they're about to, you know like, make it happen,

put a baby in her, Onan pulls out and just... all over the ground. All over her.

Whatever. If you have virgin ears, you might as well just turn it off right now

because you're not going to like this video.

But Onan, every time he's like you know "I didn't pick this girl." Like, "I don't even

care." Like, "I'm gonna get mine and I don't care if she doesn't have a kid." Like, "not

my thing." Like, "I'm gonna get me. I'm going to do me and you know I don't care about

this ho. Can't trust THOTS. Whatever." What is Tamar going to do? The

person that she stuck with, Onan, is using her for sex.

She can't divorce him. She can't leave him, because she is a widow. This is

their responsibility to take care of her. It's that family's job to make sure that she

has a child or somebody who can stand in the gap for her and take care of her. So

(Genesis 38:9-10 on screen) she continues to sleep with Onan and Onan just does not care. Peace out to

Tamar. Like, "I'm going to get mine." And this infuriates God because

she's a widow. Okay? You have a responsibility to take care of her. It is

your job to make sure that she is not dead on the street. She is your family.

You are the one who's supposed to step up and produce that heir for her, but

you're going to get yours. You're going to have sex. You're going to get off. You're

going to, you know, do your thing, but then you're gonna leave her high and dry. I don't

think so! Like... nope! You're done. So God - He kills him. You're done Onan. You're dead.

What is she going to do? Well, there's Shelah, and he's younger

though, so it's like... "okay. What am I going to do" Because he's a little too young to

marry right now." So she goes to her father-in-law Judah. Judah is like "go

back to your father's house and when Shelah is ready to marry, I'll give

him to you so that you can have that heir; so that you aren't a destitute

beggar woman sold into prostitution, or murdered on the street by a bunch of

vagabonds. So I'll come at you when Sheila is of age." What is Tamar going to

do? She goes home to her father's house, just like Judah, her father-in-law, who is

legally the one in charge of her, tells her to do. And then he's just like... "ummmm.

if Shelah gets with Tamar, he's probably going to die too. So even though

I told Tamar that I was going to I was going to give her to Shelah so that

(Genesis 38:11 on screen) she wouldn't be destitute. So that she wouldn't starve to death and die - eaten

by a pack of wolves. Oh, I'm just going to forget her. Who cares?

Out of my sight, out of my life. Not my problem anymore." But she is his problem.

So Tamar waits at her father's house. Years go by. Judah still hasn't come

a-knockin and she's not getting any younger. Like,

"okay, I only have so many years to have a kid before I am, you know, ready to just

jump off a bridge. Okay? So I need to have a kid so that I am not destitute." Judah

doesn't care. Not his problem.

(Genesis 38:12 on screen) Judah's wife dies and Judah's real upset

about it. So what does he do in his grief? Oh he goes and gets a prostitute. But

(Genesis 38:13-14 on screen) it's not just any prostitute - it's actually Tamar in disguise. Because she's

like, "you know what God? I have had it! I am going to die. I am going to starve to

death. I have to take care of me. Like... these

people are trying to murder me, like inadvertently trying to murder me."

So she disguises herself as a shrine prostitute. This is if I was Tamar. Like I

don't know what they looked like 3,000 years ago. I don't know what a

shrine prostitute looked like 3,000-4,000 years ago, but here's my

look. Okay so Tamar ( I'm Tamar over here.) She

disguises her face. She veils her face and she posts up like she is a

prostitute. And Judah comes up to her and for

whatever reason, like does not recognize who she is. (Genesis 38:15-16 on screen) (like okay, this is see-through. It's

not like she's wearing a bag over her head.)

And he's like, you know, "how much?"So clearly this was not his first rodeo.

This was not his first go-around, because he knows like, "okay, money first." Like,

money talks. What does Tamar do? She's no fool. She's like, "okay, I want you

to give me a sheep in exchange for sex." Like girl... homegirl is hungry over here.

Now Judah just doesn't bring along a bunch of sheep with him to his

prostitute activities. "Like oh, I'm going out tonight. Like let me get my let me

get my coin. (Grabs a giant sheep.)" No. So he's like, "okay obviously I don't have a

sheep with me, so what can I give you as a promise that I will give you this

sheep?" She's like "I want your seal. (Genesis 38:17-19) (So it's like a signet ring, which was

basically your signature back then.) I want your cord and I want your staff." So

homegirl got his driver's license and the title loan to his car. He has to come

back for this stuff, otherwise she's going to have his seal, which is like the

equivalent of him having a stamp every time she signs a document. She like, puts

his stamp on it and that's as good as if he did it himself, so it's legally

binding. So obviously he's going to want that back. So anyways, they do the deed.

They have sex. Like girl was HUNGRY if she's having sex with her father-in-law

when she knows he's like a gross scumbag. And this isn't the day before, you know,

Listerine, so you know it's just disgusting and depressing back then. They

do their deed. Judah goes home. Tamar goes home. (Real big disguise, right?)

Okay so Judah. What does he do? He tells his servant like, "hey I slept with a girl

and I need you to give her this sheep, so I can get my stuff back.

I need my staff. So again, you know, fight off animals and things like that.

Get my walking stick, my whip, back. And I need my driver's license back - my seal

and my cord. Got to get that back." His servant goes in to town, and was like

"hey, do you guys know where the shrine prostitute is? (Genesis 38:20-21) Like... we owe her some money.

I got something for her." And everybody in town is like... "there is no

shrine prostitute here." So the servant goes back to Judah and is like,

"I don't know what we're going to do because they said no shrine prostitute

(Genesis 38:22-23 on screen) is in that town." So it's like... okay so not only is Judah having sex with a

prostitute, but it's a shrine prostitute so obviously somebody who works at a

temple, who has sex in worship of a fallen angel - one of these demonic gods.

Judah, what are you doing?! So anyway, Judah is like "well I guess she

can just keep this stuff because, like, I don't really want this to get out that I

was, you know, hooking up with a shrine prostitute. I mean we... we tried. Like we

tried to get her money, but she just disappeared." Time passes. Three months

passes. Judah all of a sudden, I don't even know how this happens, Judah finds

(Genesis 38:24 on screen) out that his daughter-in-law, you know the one that he has abandoned to her own

father's house, is three months pregnant. All of a sudden,

Judah gets real concerned. "This is a blight on my family! How dare this whore!

we gotta burn her!" No joke - he's about to burn Tamar at, I don't know, at the stake

for getting pregnant. And it's like... okay hold on you. You promised her your son

Shelah. Where is he? Huh? I mean you obviously didn't care then. You didn't

make good on that promise. You've sent her away to her father's house to

basically roll over and die. Ad all of a sudden, now that she's pregnant, now you

care. Like... what? So she's pregnant, and he's like... "This is unacceptable! How

dare she! Let's burn her! And then she sends a note to him and she's like, "oh, btw, the

person I'm pregnant with - like this is their stuff. Do you recognize it?" Girl

could throw some shade. Cloud rolls over. Oh my gosh!

(Genesis 38:25 on screen) All of a sudden, Judah is just like, "I guess we're going to hold off on that uh

"whore burning' today because Tamar is more righteous than me because I'm the one

who knocked her up. Oops! Nevermind, we'll just call it off

and let's all forget about it."

What... WHAT?! So Tamar gives birth and when Judah and

his loser sons we're trying to screw her out of

having kids ,so that she could be taken care of in her old age,

God's like, "you know what? If they're going to do you dirty, I'm going to make it

rain on you - because you got twins! So I gave her two kids when you were trying

to make sure that she was dead in a ditch. So peace out Judah!" And guess what?

Guess what she has? (Genesis 38:29-30 on screen) Her two twins - they're both boys twin sons, how about that? Perez

and Zerah. And guess who came through those twins?

Jesus! Jesus is the

descendant of Perez, who is the descendant of Judah. So Jesus came out of

that hot mess. Because when you try to do people dirty, God is going to step in. He's

going to be like, "No you don't! I got this." So girls - if a guy is doing you dirty,

just know Jesus knows when you have somebody trying to destroy your life.

They're going to get theirs, and they don't care if you just are dead on the

trash heap. Guess what? They're going to get theirs, You're going to get yours. God has

your back. I just want to reiterate that the story of Tamar and Judah is NOT

about "they were having sex for non-procreative reasons, that's why God

killed him." NO! It's because he was trying to do Tamar

dirty. Judah was trying to do Tamar dirty. If it was like, "oh you can't

have sex without, you know, having a baby in

there," then this story would have ended with Onan dying, okay? Like five verses

in, now the story's over. Bye! The story is NOT about masturbation - it's

NOT about contraception. Hello?! If you have sperm, it's just sperm. If you have

an egg, it's just an egg. Like, until the two come together, they are not a baby.

When pastors are teaching that it's just like, "okay you did not understand the

story. It went over your head." It's about - you are to take care of the widows and

the orphans. You're not supposed to use them and abuse them. You're going to get

what you want out of them and then you don't care. God is the champion of the

widows. (Psalm 68:5-6) He is the advocate of the widows. He's the Father to the fatherless, okay?

God cares about these people, so when you do them dirty - guess what? God is coming

for you. He has your number. (Exodus 22:22-24 on screen) He knows where you live.

So I just want people to understand - you not do people who are beneath you, in

your mind, dirty, because God cares about those people. And He does not take kindly

to people who use and abuse people. And He for sure does not take kindly to

people abusing widows and using them for sex. Absolutely not! And you know, I kind

of see the same attitude of Judah today - where it's like, he can go to a shrine

prostitute. He can have sex with foreign women or do his thing outside of the

confines of marriage. But he's the first one to be like "BURN HER! She's a hoe!

She's a THOT." Like... and he just reminds me of guys today. They are on a Tinder

carousel. Thank you, Jesus, that I was already with my husband when Tinder came

out. Thank you! Men can sleep around with whomever that they wish. They don't have

to care about them. You know, Drake over here, "I'm telling her she's the one when

I'm not even planning to call." Like ten seats okay? Because God sees this.

All these people, "oh she want a ring but we're not trying to cuff these hoes." Like

you know what? Women should want to get married. That's an adult thing to do. You

should want to get married. It's not, "I'm just going to pump and dump somebody." But

you see these guys today - they want to just run through women, and if you don't

put out, all of the sudden, they ghost on you. You don't hear from them, and then all of

a sudden they are getting older. After that, after they've had a zillion sex partners.

and then you start getting phone calls because they think that

there are a Phoenix trying to rise out of the ashes of the bridges that they burnt.

Like, "Oh what are you up to? Oh, I miss you. Like... what happened to us?" Sit down! Like

they're the same ones online complaining about "oh, all these women

are hos, blah blah. I can't even find a good woman."

You were the one who was running through all these women. You're the one going to

churches trying to pick up girls, so that you can just have sex with, and

dump her, because you know that she hasn't slept around with a bunch of guys

and you're not gonna like catch anything.

So seriously

swerve

Go to the left.

But just know if you're like that, if you think that you're going to run through

girls and you're going to be, "oh woe is me, I'm so righteous, blah blah blah, all women are hos."

Like, you're the one who made them hos. You like... they weren't

sleeping with themselves. They didn't have sex with themselves. They were

obviously having sex with these these guys, so if you're that guy - STOP! Because

guess what? God has your number. Likewise, girls - don't hoe it up. Tamar was in a

life-and-death situation. But just remember - if anybody's trying to mess

with you, if anybody's trying to use you and abuse you

God has their number. Make sure to tell everybody that Tamar and Judah, the Lion

of Judah where Jesus came out of, is NOT about contraception - it's NOT about "oh

you can't have fun sex" because literally, Song of Saul is all about "you

have a great rack. Wou make me super horny." That's basically

what the Song of Solomon is. And if you've been following me on social media, on

Instagram, you've been seen Flirty Fridays where we are pulling out some

nasty verses on Friday so that you can drop some lines on your spouse. So anyway,

sex can be fun. Sex does not have to lead to procreation. God doesn't have a

problem with that, but what He does have a problem with is you pumping and dumping,

when she's expecting you to wife her up. So, anyway I will talk to you guys on

Wednesday and I would like you to like, subscribe and share and I'll see you

later. Bye!

T.I.M.L - AEMExARTOS

Life is just an instant, a moment, a short while

and for falling in love with it, i'm going mad

like Lil'Su, i touch hearts with lyrics

with my crew, we're out here tagging lightpoles

I apologize if i ever fuck up

sometimes i get it wrong, trying to be real

trying to have some values in an artificial world

So bad! I better go nuts on this instrumental,

mind distension, to me that's normal

sitting under the trees, just another mortal

coming from East, eyes shut like i'm Orient-made

Despite all hardships, good news will arrive

Dont bother me, if i just wanna rap

Don't talk shit, you might get sick

I will not pay the insults any mind

What time reveals, i will not hide

You don't like and i don't blame you,

i don't point no fingers

I just wonder, what do your own people think about you?

I don't claim to be a grown up or to be more educated

Fuck everyone who nitpick my flaws, and thats it.

I press REC! i accept the challenge like the LOCOEC

Remembering TUKA, maybe everything will change

But i will be the same person

My way of thinking changes, my way of acting changes,

i get ready and i step out, walking with my rap

following the beat with a compass like VK

"My clock is the sun", i respect DARO lyrics

Is having one day of calm, too expensive for you?

Real rappers manifesting, like EYROX

Singing to life like the MG, can you see it, bro?

Yes, you, i represent my people everywhere i go

excited like SENTUS, with exploding rythm,

like BAROOK, just another street dog with no gun

Just look how your iron goes rusty

i bury my alter-ego, and if i get it wrong, i apologize

I go out to wander because i can't lock up my soul

Love, Sweat, Passion, Tears and Laughter

Millions of ideas in precise phrases,

Just be you, thats's everything you need

Any resource worths more, if you understand why you use it,

like The HUESO said, light will fuck up any darkness

my back carries the cross it's meant to carry

in search of my truth like my brother BLODER

Graffos stand out because of their power

Just like HOMER, the wannabes can't stop me

and i don't pity those who badmouth my homie

like PABLO NICOLAS, in the cromi i give away cream

Just like MAK'C i cuss out the feds like it's no big deal

Thats how i walk today, and everything i am, i give

a fucking destroyer, sometimes bad boy

bringing the trouble, making some noise

putting flavor in the boom bap like the Beastie Boys

Thats how i walk today, and everything i am, i give

a fucking destroyer, sometimes bad boy

bringing the trouble, making some noise

putting flavor in the boom bap like the Beastie Boys

Clase classic, spending pen after pen

Nothing was easy, especially letting you go, mommy

On this life's low blows, i already hardened myself

I write bars and they describe me

Clase classic, spending pen after pen

Nothing was easy, especially letting you go, mommy

On this life's low blows, i already hardened myself, yeah!

I write bars and they describe me, yeah!

I write bars and they describe me
