Welcome to health care at home

In the previous episode we were talking about Cholesterol.

Talking about cholesterol , we always think about to choose which oil for cooking?

Which cooking oil is healthy for our heart?

Now a days we have different types of oil in attractive packaging who claims to be cholesterol free.

But its a major scam.. Although every oil claims to be cholesterol free.

But what are these oils? These oils are triglycerides

You'll not get any packaging mentioning level of triglycerides on it.

What is triglyceride? It is one of the form of Fat which is equally responsible for the blockage of our arteries.

Also responsible for the heart problems and heart attacks.

In a normal body level of triglycerides is between 100-160

But we should try to maintain our triglyceride to nearly 100 only instead going higher.

Then only we can prevent from the heart attacks.

Now what the symptoms of increased level of triglycerides?

The symptoms of triglycerides came into notice very lately

Till the time possibility of heart disease, heat stroke, diabetes gets very high.

Its symptoms are :- Stomach ache, Vomiting, loss of appetite

Fever and sometime prolonged fever also fatty lever one of its symptom

Which is also known as lever enlargement, your lever become fatty and get enlarged

Previously we have done an episode on Fatty Lever.

You can start following those remedies, it will help to reduce your triglycerides level.

How to control over increasing triglycerides level?

Firstly you have to consume green vegetables and minimise the consumption of oil

Instead I would say why to use oil?

If your triglycerides level is very high, don't use oil

Oil has no taste in itself rather the spices we used they have the taste.

if your triglycerides level is very high

Try to use water in the place of oil

Else try to cook the food without the oil, you'll find the same deliciousness in your food.

Also don't use sugar as it plays an important role to increase the level of triglycerides

Alcohol too increase the process of preparation of triglycerides level.

Hence limit the consumption of alcohol,, if your triglycerides level is high

Follow all these points if you want to keep your heart healthy.

Take low fat and high fibre diet to have normal triglycerides level.

Get your triglycerides level test done.

If its high, go for boiled for 1 month and don't use oil at all.

Do some walk & exercise.

After a month get the triglycerides level test done again, you'll find it on the normal level.

Usage of garlic is very much beneficial to reduce the level of triglycerides.

Do eat 1 raw onion & 2 raw garlic clove with your food to have normal level of triglycerides.

Flax Seeds, take some flax seeds and dry roast them.

Cook them for 5 mins on the low flame & then grind it to have its powder

Don't make too much of it rather you can make some powder for 1 week usage.

Consume 1 tsp of this powder with luke warm water with an empty stomach.

It is very helpful to regulate your cholesterol & also to low down the level of triglycerides.

Now let me tell you, how to use dairy products.

Once the milk is boiled, let it comes to room level and then put it into the fridge for 30 mins.

After 30 mins there will be a thick layer of cream on the milk

Separate the milk from cream & heat up the milk once again.

Once its heat up, let it cool down on room temperature & then again put it into fridge.

Back again you'll have a thin layer of cream on the milk

Separate the milk from the cream, this way to an extent you can control the level of triglycerides.

After that you can use this milk, you can make curd out of it, this curd will also be fat free.

You can prepare cottage cheese, cheese and consume these products.

Your triglycerides will not increase and the possibility of heart disease will be very low.

Also you'll need not to do compromise from your taste.

Immediately quit smoking, if your triglycerides is high.

Because the combination of smoking & high triglycerides

It increases the possibilities of serious heart diseases

Instead you should consume Green Peas, Capsicum, Mushroom, Kidney Beans

These food items contains Vitamin B3 which is very much helpful to low down triglycerides level.

Limit the usage of sugar, it will be best if you completely avoid the usage of sugar.

Also don't use artificial sweeteners, although it doesn't increase triglycerides

But its not at all beneficial for your body instead its harmful.

It brings many other types of problem in your body hence they should be consumed once in a blue moon

Now a days lot of fried chips are available who claims to be cholesterol free

Also french fries & junk food etc should not consumed.

Also a complete no to the cold drinks as in 1/2 litre cold drink gives you 20 tsp of sugar.

Which is very helpful in other words dangerous to increase the serious level of triglycerides.

So follow these tips and start eating 4 times more vegetable in comparison of chapati.

If you eat 33% salad and 33 % vegetable cooked without oil then you'll notice

That not only your cholesterol level will be normal but also the triglycerides level will be normal as well.

So this was about triglycerides.

In the previous episode we talk about cholesterol

But still I have not shared any remedy to reduce the cholesterol level.

So in the next episode I'll share those remedies along with some acupressure points

And lot of methods to keep your heart healthy also to maintain your cholesterol level.

Facing the fear of failure - Duration: 4:16.

Hey, creators.

Hope you're doing well as always.

Now, let's dive into this question: the fear -- facing the fear of failure.

First thing, I do want to give an example with this, but I want to make one note, and

that is that fear isn't -- fear on itself isn't that bad.

Really, it's just the other face of courage.

I mean, you can't have one without the other.

When you do anything courageous, there's going to be some degree of fear to it, there's going

to be some degree of vulnerability and there's nothing wrong with that.

In society, we make such a big deal of trying to be just courageous and you can't be fearful;

and if you're fearful, you're seen as weak.

I think that's a lie.

I think that's a terrible thing to do and a terrible imprint on people because that

just sort of builds the anxiety in them and no one really needs that.

One thing that I like to address is that it's not a problem to be afraid because that just

makes you human.

And therefore, it's not so much about getting rid of fear entirely.

Actually -- totally -- it's not at all about getting rid of fear entirely.

It's just about reducing it.

So to that example I wanted to give, public speaking is a very good analogy for all of

this because when it comes to public speaking the reason why a lot of people get afraid

is because they get overwhelmed by potentially failing.

And it's really just all the thoughts and all -- everything that's going on in-in the

person's head when they're trying to give the speech.

And so that just means that in order to reduce the fear it's about creating clarity.

And so it's about simplifying this process so you can actually go through the public

speaking and go through the talk.

And that's why with public speaking they -- people encourage you to prepare and prepare and prepare

and prepare because in that way you can focus on what you just have to say and do through

the speech.

You won't get overwhelmed or be thinking about all the other things because you just realize

what you have to do and focus on what you have to do.

Another strategy, when you feel that you're afraid of failing, what is it that you're

thinking about?

Because when it comes to public speaking as an example, I think a lot of people put a

lot of attention on themselves.

They think about all the things that could go wrong with them, that they could stumble

upon their words or they could lose track of what they're saying or they could lose

focus.

Their attention is on them.

And so just think about what would happen if you shifted your attention on the audience.

And I'm asking what would happen because, in that way, in putting your attention on

them, it kind of puts you in perspective and it makes it about them and because you're

not putting so much attention on yourself, you're reducing the fear.

I mean, really, you can't focus on two things at once, you can only focus on one thing at

a time.

So if you're putting your attention on the other person and helping them and what they

want and what they're here for, why they're in the audience, then you are taking attention

off yourself and therefore, you're not going to be as fearful or you're not going to be

as stressed.

So a final note with this example, but can be illustrated into other things, I think

a lot of people with public speaking assume that the audience wants you to fail, which

is not true.

I mean, they're there for a reason and I think it's important to note that because when you

realize that they're there and they want to get value out of you, it helps to relax because

they want you to do well, they actually want you to do well because that way they get value,

they get value for being there and they haven't wasted their money or their time.

So they actually want you to do well.

And if you happen to stumble or if you happen to forget a few words here and there, they'll

forgive you as long as you're honest about it.

So yeah, that's my take on facing the fear of failure.

Beata Szydło and Mariano Rajoy – joint press conference [English subtitles] - Duration: 15:27.

PRIME MINISTER BEATA SZYDŁO: Good morning to you all.

I would like to thank the Spanish delegation for today,

Above all Prime Minister Rajoy for our talks.

We spoke in Łazienki Park last night

and we have continued the talks today during intergovernmental consultations.

In the meantime, while I was speaking to the Prime Minister in Belweder, our ministers were having talks about ministerial issues.

And now we have met to summarise the debate.

This year's consultations are being held on the 40th anniversary of resumption of diplomatic relations between Poland and Spain.

The participation of Polish and Spanish ministers in the meeting and the broad range of the discussed topics

prove the importance attached by both parties to both bilateral cooperation,

and cooperation as part of the EU, NATO, and UN.

Poland and Spain represent a similar view on the issues involved in building a strong and effective EU that is close to its citizens,

a similar view on Brexit or the single market, the cohesion or security policies.

We note the economic exchange growth between our countries with satisfaction.

We are also bound by projects worth billions.

And we intend to develop and intensify our cooperation further.

We will also strengthen our cooperation in the area of defence,

infrastructure, agriculture, environment, as well as sports and education.

Prime Minister Rajoy and I have agreed that in the face of the contemporary threats,

our priority is security.

Stabilisation of the situation in the EU's southern and eastern neighbourhood.

We have confirmed that our primary task

is to immediately implement the latest decisions made at NATO summits.

Our countries advocate the maintenance of NATO's solidarity and unity,

as a guarantee of security in the entire North Atlantic community.

We appreciate Spain's military engagement to strengthen the eastern flank

and the Spanish activity in the south.

I would also like to emphasise the active participation of a large number of Spanish soldiers in Anakonda 2016 exercises in Poland.

We are hoping for further close cooperation with Spain in this field.

Today, Ministers of Defence of Poland and Spain have commenced work on signing a military agreement.

Its main objectives are cooperation as part of NATO's eastern flank,

combating terrorism and development of defence industries.

We have expressed our deep concern about the persistent tension in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict,

at the same time emphasising the urgent need to resolve it and a quick and full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Both countries will collaborate for improvement of the Community and in-depth EU reforms.

We have agreed that unity and cohesion have still been the EU's primary values.

I have stressed on this occasion that Poland wants the voices of nation states and their parliaments

to be reflected in the EU's decision process to a greater extent,

and the EU institutions to be closer to citizens' needs.

What should be crucial is actions for the internal market and competitiveness strengthening in the whole EU.

In this context, we have expressed our objections to any barriers

which could be an obstacle in free movement of persons, services and capital.

We have also voiced our concern about the possibility of permitting the regulations

regarding posting of workers to the international road transport.

Poland and Spain see the need for close cooperation in the area of the cohesion policy

and during negotiations of multi-annual financial frameworks.

We agree that the priority goal in the Brexit negotiations between the EU and the UK

is the protection of the EU citizens' rights and regulation of financial matters

arising from that country's membership in the EU.

Our countries attach great importance to combating terrorism and activities of the Global Coalition.

I have informed Prime Minister Rajoy about Poland's engagement in the south,

which is a sign of a particular concern about peace and security

in our closest neighbourhood and in more distant regions.

Another edition of Polish-Spanish intergovernmental consultations

has confirmed the purposefulness of continuing the intensification of the bilateral relations,

with successful development and security of our countries and European societies in mind.

GOVERNMENT SPOKESMAN RAFAŁ BOCHENEK: I would like to thank Prime Minister Szydło for this statement.

And now Prime Mister Mariano Rajoy will speak.

The floor is yours.

PRIME MINISTER MARIANO RAJOY: Welcome everyone.

I would like to thank Prime Minister Szydło and all her colleagues,

members of the government who have participated in our today's meetings.

I would like to thank for your hospitality.

These bilateral meetings are very useful

because they enable cooperation in defence of our interests.

We meet in international forums, such as the EU or NATO.

Yet bilateral meetings enable us to get to know each other better

and use our respective experiences.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the renewal of diplomatic relations between our countries.

The relations are very good today and I hope they will remain so.

More than 100K Poles live in Spain.

Over 800K Poles visit Spain as tourists every year.

The trade between our countries has amounted to over EUR 10B.

In my opinion, our yesterday's and today's talks have been very useful.

And I hope they will be fruitful.

At our yesterday's meeting, we talked mainly about four crucial issues.

These are issues on which we will need to make important decisions soon.

We spoke about terrorism, Brexit, Posting of Workers Directive

and multi-annual financial frameworks.

Terrorism is one of the most worrying issues for Europeans.

At the last year's Bratislava summit, results of a survey were presented,

and it was shown that this was the greatest problem and cause of anxiety for European citizens.

There have been a few very serious terrorist attacks recently.

We must counteract terrorism.

Our secret and intelligence services need to cooperate,

combat illegal financing of terrorism,

combat promotion of terrorism on the Internet.

And these are priorities for both governments.

We also talked about Brexit.

It is one of the most significant political events of recent times.

The negotiations have already begun, elections have taken place in the UK.

The European Union has determined three priorities.

The first issue is to maintain the EU citizens' rights

and the UK citizens' rights when they are no longer EU members.

The second issue is the economic negotiation.

The third issue is the border between Northern Ireland and the UK.

At the first meeting, the UK's Prime Minister informed the EU's Prime Ministers

about her proposals regarding citizens' rights.

She differentiated between the citizens living in the UK for over 5 years and those living for a shorter time.

We will continue the negotiations.

Our European standpoint is clear. Mr Barnier has explicitly stated what we are striving for.

And we need to work out the future relations between the EU and the UK together.

Both the bilateral ones between the EU and EU member states, and with the whole EU.

We also discussed another issue related to Brexit, that is multi-annual financial frameworks.

We will know the Commission's proposal next year.

And I'm saying that these issues are related because the UK was a net contributor.

Therefore, the absence of this contributor will influence the European budget.

The costs may also change as the policies which have not been of priority so far may change.

We also spoke about a joint agricultural policy, cohesion policy.

We think that what has been happening in the EU in recent years cannot radically change.

Policies evolve but they cannot be subject to revolutions.

The fourth dimension is the directive, which is being discussed,

and concerns both our countries.

We have often emphasised that we are supporters

of free movement of persons, services and capital, etc.,

But we need to regulate these matters together

and agree the conditions for that together.

Poland and Spain experience similar problems in the transport sector.

It is an extremely important matter.

I talked about it with President of France, when we met not long ago.

Yet Spain aims at developing a solution

that would be satisfactory to all EU members.

Today, in turn, we have talked about the defence policy.

We are satisfied with our membership in NATO.

It is an organisation that is fundamental for our countries' defence.

And we want to strive for intensification of our cooperation in the area of defence as part of the European Union.

We have also touched upon another important issue.

Poland is currently a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.

And we have mentioned that one of the topics to discuss is combating terrorism.

The next subject of our talks was relations with Russia.

Like the EU has agreed, the sanctions will remain in force until Russia complies with the conditions of the Minsk agreement.

We also talked about the situation of the EU's external borders.

The eastern border is in Poland's domain.

In the south, in turn, Spain has more knowledge and experience.

We discussed the dramatic situations occurring in connection with illegal migrations.

And we spoke about the causes of this situation of inflow of migrants.

We talked about the situation in Libya.

Yesterday, we had a talk about that with Italy's Prime Minister.

The situation in Italy is dramatic due to the inflow of migrants from Libya.

Our ministers talked about economic, cultural, scientific, educational issues, and about sports.

We spoke about intensification of cooperation in all these areas.
