The first and very important thing is to love photography! This is the only way to get more into it!
I prefer to take photos rather then just go to party every day, also I prefer shooting at weddings rather than just being a guest!
From early in the morning to late in the evening I am thinking of many new ideas, etc, if I miss my last train, I just search for new locations until morning!
Understand really good your gear, every button, every setting how to control it! Even without looking at the camera!
If you have to look at your camera very often you might miss some really important moment of your shoot!
Understand really good the exposure triangle and what each if it's elements is doing to the image!
Find your subject and theme, that you really enjoy and love shooting!
Find the camera and lens that are best for taking the photos of the subject and theme from the previous point!
Look at the work of other photographers and other types of art and find your inspiration!
