Inside the shipping carton is a nylon bag. Inside the nylon bag is a metal tin.

Inside the metal tin is a diecast masters brochure. Inside the brochure are

details of Diecast Masters models. Inside the black foam is a Caterpillar 982M, a

wheel loader, and when we get it out of the black foam there's no assembly to do

because it is complete out of the box.

Going underneath there is some detailing but the most impressive part

is the big tires and they are mounted on decent plastic wheels. At the back the

rear grille looks fine and the lights are simply painted. A pivot point has a

transmission shaft visible and small graphics help the detailing. At the front

things look fairly simple and at the back the side grills are

formed of graphics but without any texture.

Inside the cab there's the operator and he must be really good because he's seen

driving so many different types of Caterpillar machine. The loader arm

details are straightforward with painted rivets, and the big bucket is a

decent casting. The model does have quite a lot of plastic on it and that includes

the lights and grab rails and even the handrails are soft plastic.

Here we are in the Cranes Etc quarry and the 982M rolls about very nicely but unusually it

does not have an oscillating rear axle. As usual steering is carried out across

the pivot point and a reasonable angle can be set so the

model can be posed steering, but what about shovelling? Well there's really no

cut angle to speak of although you can get a moderate carry angle.

Let's get elevated and check out the loading height and there's a decent stiffness in

the hydraulics so most poses can be set and the height of lift seems pretty

reasonable. The bucket tilt angle might be slightly shallow but perhaps it's

near enough so overall the functionality is

reasonable. Let's check the 982M loading a European

size tipper truck and the bucket gets up on over well enough and is also able to

fully discharge its load. Another option is to put on the super thrusters and fly

it onto a low loader where it makes a good-looking load.

This is a reasonable

model of a wheel loader from Diecast Masters and as usual it's beautifully

presented. Certain aspects such as the plastic handrails are not of the same

standard as more recent Diecast Masters models, but it poses well with other

models. Overall it's rated good.

GTA V: How to Create Custom Characters with Skin Control [TUTORIAL] - Duration: 5:30.

Hello there guys and girls,

in this short tutorial I would like to introduce you to a nice mod which I am using on a regular

basis for my videos.

It's called Skin Control.

As always, all the links are in the video description.

Now, actually this mod is no longer supported by it's creator, but it still works fine

for me.

Nonetheless I found a download site that still hosts version 2.1 of SkinControl.

You're gonna have to wait for 30 seconds here to actually download it.

So, let's wait together, shall we?

Just kidding.

I checked the file for you.

It comes with only a small virus and works perfectly fine.

So, to install the mod you just put it into your main game directory.

It's a simple ASI file.

Doesn't get any easier than that.

So it's just right for people like you.

Naaah, I'm just kiddin.

Once again.

Right here you see another file.

Don't worry, there is no .INI file included in the download.

This file will be created by SkinControl when you save your first character.

We're gonna get to that again later on.

In the game, Skin Control is TRIGGERED by pressing F8 on your keyboard.

Now you can pick any skin from the game and modify the clothing.

Please note, that certain NPCs only have one set of clothes in which case you will not

be able to change them.

On others like Trevor, Michael and Franklin however you have a wider variety of outfits.

If none of the characters suits your video, you can also create completely new ones based

on the blank versions of the multiplayer males and females.

The amount of clothing you can choose here is really cool and it's really self explanatory.

There are a few things to watch out for here, though.

For instance, you will achieve the biggest facial changes by picking different mothers

and fathers and balancing their features.

Just change the values here and see the results.

You can adjust these features a little more afterwards but those changes are not as impactful

as those right here.

Also if you pick clothes for the upper body, you'll notice that sometimes the skin glitches

through the shirt or hoodie.

That is because the upper skin right here doesn't fit the type of clothes you picked.

This depends on how much skin the piece of clothing reveals.

Everything below is actually invisible.

So if your character wears a regular shirt, the chest area is actually invisible.

If you wear a longsleeve, the arms are invisible too.

That way you avoid the skin glitching through the fabric.

That's why there are always multiple versions of the upper skin for each different type

of glove your character wears.

The same goes for the top and the undercoat.

Tops are usually bigger pieces of clothing like hoodies and jackets.

The undercoats are usually shirts or even topless.

Again you'll have to pick an undercoat that doesn't glitch through the top.

If you don't want a top, there is also an invisible one in the list.

There is one downside to the multiplayer characters, though: All females and all males have the

same body as opposed to these ambient characters.

So in order to avoid your characters looking too generic you should use a good mixture

of ambient and custom people in your videos.

When you're done you can then save the character with an individual name.

You have a total of 25 slots at your disposal.

If you do need more or want to keep old characters for later just in case, there is a workaround:

Just go to the main game directory and find the file "SkinControl.ini".

Just copy this file to another directory as a backup.

Now you can delete the old INI file in the game directory and start with a fresh 25 sluts,

erh I mean slots.

It's also practical because if you want to collaborate with a friend you can just

send him the file so he or she can import your created characters with no hassle.

You can even switch to desktop and exchange the files while the game is still running.

Virtually, that gives you infinite slots to work with.

Admittedly, the mod has some flaws, one of which is the UI.

It's not too comfortable to use but it does the trick.

Another flaw is that editing an existing character isn't really comfortable.

To do this, you need to load the character you want to edit, go back to "Pick Skin"

and then choose the same model that you modified.

Then you can re-enter the character editor and change the wardrobe.

You should save the new outfit in another slot though.

You'll never know when or if you'll need the old model again for a reshoot.

You might be saying now: Wait, why don't you just use Menyoo to save characters then?

Well, sometimes it's nice to have a separate tool for a certain task.

And I feel that I can navigate to my saved characters faster in Skin Control than in

Menyoo and have a better overview of them there as well.

That's why I still prefer this little dead mod.

And that's why I made this tutorial which I hope you enjoyed the fork out of.

Perpendicular Lines and Slope - Algebra - 7.8 - Duration: 10:37.

Slope and parallel lines make sense right? I mean it's basically just a duplicate of another line that is pushed to the side.

Sounds easy. We'll let us change it and make it about slope and perpendicular lines.

That is right... your boy jack is changing things around here. What is going on everybody!

My name is Jack Jenkins and this is Academy of One.

Today we are talking about perpendicular lines and slope.

[Music]

Before we get into the main topic we have to learn the definition of perpendicular lines?

Two lines are perpendicular if they intersect and make a right angle.

A right angle is ninety degrees or about one point five radians.

This picture is of two lines that are perpendicular.

The giveaway that two lines are perpendicular is if they have the box symbol.

That symbol signifies that the two of them make a perpendicular line.

So these two lines, while they intersect, are not perpendicular because they intersect at more than ninety degrees.

Now that we know about perpendicular lines how do the lines relate to each other in regards to slope.

Well it's a little bit more complicated than the relationship between slope and parallel lines.

To give you an Idea let's do an example. We have a line titled a b.

The line a b contains a slope that we can write in the form of c over d.

Now this line is pretty lonely so let's rotate it ninety degrees to give it a perpendicular line.

Now this line is going to be prime a and prime b. What will be the slope of this line?

Well since it's a line with a negative slope we get negative c over d as its slope.

This is because its moving in the negative direction.

Now let's give the line some numbers. Let's have c equal to two and d also equal to two.

Draw this out and you get exactly what I'm using as the example.

Alright so now we have two lines that are perpendicular...

what is the relationship between this and slope?

Well the product of the two slopes will always be negative one if the lines are perpendicular.

Let's use our example. The blue lines slope is c over d or two over two or one.

The red lines slope is negative d over c or negative two over two or just negative one.

One times negative one is negative one so they must be perpendicular.

So if we have the slope of a line then the perpendicular line will be the

opposite of the other line. In other words, the slope of the first line will be the

negative reciprocal of the other line. This helps us understand the three rules

about slope and perpendicular lines. First, if two non-vertical lines are perpendicular

then the slope is going to be negative one. We just did an example of this.

The second rule is if the product of the slope of two lines is negative one then the two lines

are perpendicular. The last rule you need to remember about perpendicular lines

and slope is that if a horizontal line has zero slope,

and a vertical line has an undefined slope, then the two lines will be perpendicular.

This is just saying that a never ending line on the x-axis and a never ending line on the

y-axis are perpendicular which makes sense. Now let's do a problem...

well start off with an easy one. We have two lines that are perpendicular.

We have the general form of the equation of a line for the first line and the other line is a

complete mystery. The general form for the first line is x plus three y plus three

is equal to zero. Now first things first is we need to get that y on to the other side.

We do that by subtracting from both sides. We have x plus three y minus three y

plus three is equal to zero minus three y. Simplify and we get x plus three is equal to negative three y.

Let's get rid of that negative three in front of that y.

x plus three divided by negative three is equal to negative three y divided by negative three.

Simplify and we get negative one third x minus one is equal to y.

Congratulations! We got this line which was in the general form into this line

which is in point intercept form. Now remember my rule to find the perpendicular line.

Well we take the slope of a line and find the negative reciprocal of it.

The red lines slope is negative one third. The negative reciprocal of negative one third is equal to just three.

The line will also carry on the negative one from the red line to get y is equal to three x minus one as its equation.

And if we draw the line out you can see that it is a perfect fit.

Great job. Now I want to give you one on your own.

Let's do a problem where the general form of the line is two y plus eight x minus six is equal to zero.

Go ahead... I know you guys can do it. Just remember that one line is perpendicular

to the other if the slope is a negative reciprocal to each other.

Ready... begin!

Alright guys... I hope you found the correct answer. If not, then you can always do a

practice problem on the website. Now let us begin.

First we have to convert the general form into slope-intercept form.

We do that by isolating y. First we subtract the two y from both sides.

two y minus two y plus eight x minus six is equal to zero minus two y.

Simplify and we get eight x minus six is equal to negative two y.

Now let's divide both sides by negative two to isolate the y.

We get eight x minus six all divided by two is equal to negative two y divided by negative two.

Simplify again and we get negative four x plus six is equal to y. Horary!

We have the slope-intercept form. It isn't over though. We still have to find the other line.

Well the slope of this line is negative four. The slope of the other line is the

negative reciprocal of negative four which is one over four.

So the formula for the line perpendicular to our red line is y is equal to one fourth x plus three.

Congratulations if you got this correct. Here is a picture of a baby alligator as a reward.

They are so cute when they are tiny aren't they. Well that is it for today's video.

Before I pimp out all of my stuff I need to do... the three main points.

First two lines are perpendicular if when they intersect a right angle forms.

second if you take the product of two slopes and find it to be negative one then the lines are perpendicular.

Lastly, one line is perpendicular to another line if the slope is the negative reciprocal of the other lines slope.

Then I'm off to the studio to make some mashups for this weekend,

We're playing Indian Summer Festival on Saturday, Moscow Russia on Sunday.

We need to prepare everything, so we're going to build some cool mashups.

After that we're going to visit Sick Individuals..

..to ask how they prepare DJ-Sets, and some catching up.

Alright let's start the day!

And I'm going to the studio to make some fat beats.

I found a nice house tune last night, but it sounded a bit empty.

So it may be cool to put a rap acapella on top of it, making a mashup.

I started searching and found the acapella of 50 Cent - P.I.M.P.

Let's start right away.

I got the house tune ready right here.

As you might hear there is still some space in the drop.

There's a vocal in the build up, but room for an acapella on the drop.

Let's drag it on there.

Let's see how it sounds.

One problem, it's not synchronized yet with the beat.

It already sounds pretty cool. But we're not there yet.

I have yet to EQ the acapella..

..sidechain it a bit, so it fits better in the beat.

And a couple of effects like reverb and delay.

The basic foundation of the mash up is done.

Of course everything has to be properly mixed and leveled.

But the basic mashup idea is solid.

I'm going to finish it, to test it out this weekend at Indian Summer and in Russia.

I think it's the biggest part of how we are different from other DJ's. - Yeah we don't do that.

You'll get crazy visuals with that crazy music.

Skulls everywhere!

Currently Joep is the DJ nowadays.

So he plays all the music. - DJ Joepie.

And I do all the visuals, when we are together on stage.

So I control the visuals and colours and so on.

We make all the visuals here at the headquarters.

So our show is a combination of visuals and music at the same time.

That brings something unique and different.

That really determines our set in the sense of how it looks like.

You can also make other choices musically like ...

... this track is complicated, but in combination with these visuals it works.

In choosing our music, our DJ-Set ...

... we can do more with visuals, we can take it to another step.

We can play more complicated tracks.

When the visuals are synchronized, the people will go crazy anyways.

So we won't have to play hits. That's a big advantage we have with visuals.

We are going to prepare our Indian Summer DJ-Set, because our set could use an update.

And of course rocking and testing it out tonight.

I divided all my music in Rekordbox. I got a main list.

That consists about 100 tracks.

I can scroll through them real fast.

They are all in order, an intro track is ready ...

And the music gets harder when you scroll down.

Some moombahton. After that, more harder music.

Ending with some trap, and depending on the crowd ...

...we can switch to more trap for instance.

Or if they want to have more moombahton.

Or more house music.

And the panic folder, if the crowd is really tough.

Then they get some hits that are okay within our limits.

This is the most important sound in our set.

But my stomach needs some party too, I'm a bit hungry.

So basically every set is unique.

All my transitions are different each time, that makes it unique for me.

Sometimes I play more hiphop, other times more house, a bit of this and that.

That's about it. - A real DJ.
