Waching daily Jan 1 2018

hello everybody I'm about 17 and in this video today we're going to talk about

the three new legends figures that were revealed for either wave 2 or wave 3 of

power the primes these three legends figures I'm talking about our tailgate

battle slash and Road trap now tailgate is a repaint of the power of the primes

windcharger mold and it looks really good to me however my only issue is his

chest I'm worried that the design on the front of the chest is not a decal but

it's a sticker and I'm not necessarily happy about that I don't like these new

power of the Prime stickers they're not very good they are factory applied so

they're not very well put on they peel off they're just crappy that's my one

worry I really wish Hasbro would just include the stickers separately in the

Box rather than including them onto the figure it still looks really neat now

the two other figures Roadtrip and battle slash now these are

figures the names never been made up before never been the names are original

their original names we've never heard them before but and take the beginning

of battle slash and the end of road trap battle trap boom you got battle trap

this didn't even come to my mind when I first saw these that these were part of

battle trap mostly because I'm not very familiar with battle trap but they are

both the components to combine to make a battle try we even have some images of

battle traps combined mode who looks really good however he's not based off

of his cartoon or a toy accurate look because of his white arms the design of

the toy had blue arms well if you could even call those arms and so did the

cartoon so when I get it I'm probably gonna end up paying the arms blue and we

even get to see some scale to see how tall it is its size seems to be between

deluxe and Legends just kind of in between there which is okay now the one

thing that gets me is how they combined it seems to be that Road trap when he

transforms his head is the connector to battle slashes it's like a it's similar

to the Energon combiner or like a powerlinx type of connection where it's

simply a peg in a socket and basically Road traps head is the peg and battle

slash it has a socket that hooks into it I'm worried that that's not that tight

of a connection I'm worried that it's gonna be like a really loose connection

I guess we're just gonna have to see when the reviews come out and people are

actually getting them I also wonder if now that they've brought out battle trap

if they're going to bring out flywheels and hopefully flywheels as components

will be compatible with battle traps components now few Adams posted on

Twitter giving a pretty compelling argument quoting wait but if battle

traps alt modes each have a robot mode is he truly a duo con anymore isn't he

now a regular to bot combiner like the TF animated safeguard I thought duo you

know yeah duo cons were so sweet to separate vehicles that combined into one

robot not to separate robots that have their own individual vehicle modes that

combined into one robot I mean like what even counts as a duo con anymore I mean

come on guys and while we're at it does overlord

count as a duo con - I mean come on another thing to note I just wanted to

kind of show this off I had this here's some digi bash artwork from at Jesse

Witten rich on Twitter turning the two characters into obsidian and Strika I

thought this was a really cool digi bash I think this is a really neat idea oh

boy have only fun publications are still around so that kind of covers the latest

transformers news for today I just want to kind of go over the things that I

missed out on for one thing the Darth Vader transformers figure that's coming

out the studio series stinger blackout Voyager Optimus which is a remould from

the evasion mode Optimus from transformers for ratchet a new

Starscream which seems to be a Voyager and crankcase another thing is the MPM

barricade which looks cool and the masterpiece of Dinobot which amazing

however its price is what turns me off it's 260 dollars for the pre-order my

suggestion to everyone who is listening if you're planning on getting it don't

get the pre-order just just don't get the pre-order and I get I get the fact

that it's like you have nobody gets to pre-order then there's gonna be less

than they used the first time pre-order to tell how many to make but the thing

is is if enough people don't get the pre-orders and they notice that it's

because the price they will change something they'll remove the stand and

then reduce the price because that is just

way too much for a masterpiece figure in my eyes another thing is we got some

more official images of the upcoming part of the prime stuff and apparently

there's going to be a new blast off figure which looks like it's going to be

the unite warriors blast off and it's gonna come with a Megatron it like a

black Megatron is tight and master and with the box in a different design I

have a feeling it's going to be a may mayhem figure so that's gonna be really

cool keep your I keep your eyes out for that finally my Bruticus will be able to

have a blast off arm because my Bruticus doesn't have one another thing is the

Takara Street Fighter transformers figures which yeah I think they're ok

they're cool it's a neat idea if you're a street fighters fan and a Transformers

fan um I'm just not I guess I'm just not big on Street Fighter but if they make a

Gilly or is it guile I forget if they make him then I'm all over it because I

like Gilly mostly just because of the early theme and it's weird hair and you

know maracas and then from flame toys which were the makers of their drift

Tarn and their upcoming Star saber figure apparently they're making model

kits transformers model kits which is a genius idea genius hopefully it's like

snap together like good figures like Gundam cuz if you know I've gotten into

Gundam lately if they look really cool they're very stylized hopefully they're

not too expensive hopefully they're at most I would say they're $40 at that's

at most hopefully they're not hopefully they're cheaper than $40 but they still

look cool so that's in the video don't forget you can likes video come and even

subscribe but only if it's your pleasure thank you so much for over 500

subscribers at the point of this recording we have we are at 525

subscribers and just for that I want to get a review out soon hopefully within

the next couple weeks of the Met I am about 17 and I'll see you later

The Simple Trick That Makes Chicken Breasts So Much Better - Duration: 1:35.

For such a common culinary endeavor, it's surprising how intimidating it can be to cook

a chicken breast.

It tends to turn out either overcooked or not cooked enough — and raw chicken is not

to be messed with.

"Look at that.

That's your best?!"

"No chef!"

So why is it so tricky to get right?

According to J. Kenji López-Alt of Serious Eats, it's often because chicken breasts vary

in thickness throughout.

"What this means is that no matter how you cook 'em, there's a good chance that the thinner,

tapered end is going to end up cooking through before the fatter, bulkier end does."

López-Alt says the best way to get around this problem is to pound the chicken breasts

first:

"By pounding the chicken breast flat, you're able to cook the whole thing to the correct

final temperature at the same time, leaving you with a juicier breast."

He added that pounding the chicken not only leads to more even cooking, but also faster

cooking, and more tender meat.

No meat mallet?

No problem: You can use pretty much anything that's heavy and sturdy, like a skillet, an

empty wine bottle, or a rolling pin.

Skip the mess by wrapping the chicken in plastic wrap or wax paper before pounding it, or take

a tip from Kitchn and slip it into a plastic baggie for super-easy cleanup.

So when should you use this method?

Tasting Table says it comes in handy no matter how you're preparing your chicken, so make

it your first step if you're grilling, baking, broiling or pan-frying your poultry.

They add that the ideal thickness of your chicken breast is between a quarter-inch and

half-inch, but what really matters is that the breasts are the same thickness throughout

— so don't sweat it if you can't get them exactly that thin.

Journaling Ideas for the New Year! - Duration: 7:07.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year, I hope you all had wonderful celebrations or if you're

like me, a very relaxing transition into 2018.

I actually fell asleep last year and woke up the next, but this year I was determined

to stay awake!

With this new year, I have so much that I want to accomplish and share with you, so

I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the goals that I want to achieve.

And I know some of you have mentioned that starting a new journal or sketchbook is always

daunting because of the what ifs, and It's so similar to beginning the new year, except,

the days will pass no matter what.

At this point the entire year is blank and all of my thoughts of how things should be,

where I should be in my life, or what I want to do is just floating around in my head making

it really hard to focus.

So here are a few journal ideas to help cleanse our minds and then re-focus in order to accomplish

our main goals this year.

I want us to make 2018 the best year yet!

So let us let go of all the thoughts and past experiences that are stopping us from being

our best selves and living our best life.

And since I've fallen in love with my January Setup and have received so much love from

all you for the setup, I am going to continue the winter lights theme into these few journal

pages and hopefully make them just as magical.

I am going to let go a little bit in these pages as well and draw very loosely without

any need for perfection, just to get my thoughts flowing.

So you are more than welcome to follow along and we can do this together.

The first exercise is called Reflections.

On this page, write down your top 5 to 10 accomplishments, no matter how big or how

small they may be.

And it could be a mental, spiritual, or a physical accomplishment such as becoming more

patient or being more aware of your actions and how it affects others.

So for example my first one is that I was able to let go of all of my negative emotions

and forgive those who have hurt me in anyway.

I've been learning that holding grudges even the slightest dislike for something or

someone, only affects the person who is holding it and it'll eventually continue to get

heavier and heavier. and In order for me to achieve my goals, I have to let go of the

past and look towards the future.

Make sure to take time to pause and reflect on these and really acknowledge them.

Next is a message to yourself.

What advice or thoughts do you want to share with your future self based on all that you

learned this year.

So for example, I wrote, Dear me, do not let anyone determine your happiness.

Be in control of your thoughts and feelings.

Do not give others or things the power to make you feel anything but what you want to feel.

Be kind to others and most importantly, be kind to yourself.

You can achieve everything you set your mind to.

Love me.

It does sound a little weird to write this, but I love this exercise because it forces

me think in a different perspective.

I feel like I give others my best advice and rarely do that for myself, so this is the

perfect exercise for that.

Read this as many times as you need during the year as a reminder to be better than that you once were.

The third exercise is called Cleanse.

This is the place where you dump all of the things that didn't work out, wished you

had accomplished, all of your fears, weaknesses, and disappointments.

Sometimes we go through these emotions and we don't let them out, instead bits and

pieces of them burden our mind and continually stop us from moving forward.

This is the place to let it all go and write them down.

Make sure to pause between each one and really think of the emotions connected to them and

then let them out onto the page.

On the next page we are going to list our top 2018 Goals.

Underneath each goal write, in a short sentence or two, how you plan on achieving that goal.

So for example, my first goal is to be productive and responsible with my time and to try my

best to maximize it.

Underneath that I wrote: Check my cell phone less and remind myself to stay focused.

This exercise helps with determining the smaller steps you'll need to take in order to reach

the larger goal.

Similar to writing a set of simple instructions for yourself and it'll help the goal feel a little more achievable.

The fifth and final exercise is called Visualize.

Try to envision yourself, this time, next year.

What have you accomplished, how do you feel, and basically who are you?

I visualize that I am a healthy small business owner with a positive outlook and an incredibly

patient and kind heart.

Healthy in terms of being in control of what I eat and how I eat.

I know that there is so much that I will need to overcome during this year, but that visualization

is where I want to end up.

So take your time and really try to picture yourself, this will hopefully be the summary

of your story at the end of the year.

If you haven't noticed I've been skipping pages in between each spread because this

Moleskine is ghosting and bleeding pretty bad.

Since I want to use this notebook because I received it as a gift, I'll just go back

in and double stick tape the pages together.

For the rest of the book, I may use it more like a sketchbook with pencil because it seems

so wasteful to keep taping the pages together, but that's something i'll figure out later.

As I go on through 2018, I am going to flip back through these pages to remind myself

of where I came from and where I aim to be.

I am strongly determined to conquer this year and I really hope you can conquer yours!

Thank you so much for all of the love and really, for listening to my thoughts, I know

they can be very thought provoking and deep sometimes, so thank you so much!

Remember to follow me on instagram if you want to interact with me a little more or

for any updates.

I love sharing little snippets of my life with you.

Cheers to a wonderful new year and I'll see you next time, bye!

2018 Update! - Duration: 2:00.

Hello, just2good here, and happy New Year!

It feels like New Years Day 2017 was just yesterday,

and thank you guys for one of my strongest years,

despite the decline of YouTube as a whole.

I hope you all had a Happy Holiday season filled with lots of LEGO!

So, in 2018, things will change with my channel,

and I think it will be for the better of my personal well being,

and for the better of the channel.

You see, the last few years I have been focusing moreso on my YouTube

than my personal well being with stuff like school.

I mean, I'm not dying over here,

I'm just fine but it's time to balance things out.

That's why in this year, you won't be seeing daily videos.

I think I've been doing daily videos for what,

the last three years but like in 2017,

it got to the point where it was consistently daily.

I think I missed like, five days in total.

Instead of doing these daily quick reviews or news videos,

I'll be focusing more on making bigger,

more quality videos.

Maybe at least three a week, let's say that.

I want to note that these changes will be starting

by the middle of January or even early February,

because I have a lot of quick reviews

I'll be doing for some untouched 2018 sets,

so the first few weeks here will be the same old same old.

For reviews, at the time being,

I'll still be doing Throwback Thursday videos weekly so don't worry.

Stay tuned for some new series that I'll be expirementing with,

you guys already saw this with the CMF Draft video,

and I'm happy to say you'll be seeing more of that series,

as the first one was a decent success.

Oh, and I have updated my Patreon,

you can see the new Patreon video as an annotation here.

For example, one reward that I'm testing out

is including EVERY supporters' name at the end of my LEGO lists and countdown videos,

even if you just give one buck a month it will show up there.

It's risky, but I'm dedicated to doing this from now on.

Again, if you're a young kid or even a teen,

there's better things you can spend your money on.

Supporting me on Patreon is just a little extra people can do.

Other than that, I know I've said this a lot

but just2games is another channel I really want to put time into,

so expect exciting new videos there.

Anyways, that's it for now, I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Top 10 Scary Babysitter Stories - Duration: 6:31.

Hello!

Welcome back to the Most Amazing corner of the Internet!

I am your Most Amazing host, Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking about the Top 10

Scary Baby Sitter stories….eek!

Before we launch into this list, I just want to ask all of you that are watching this video

to subscribe to our channel…we make two videos an day and you're going to want to

know what we're talking about next!

We're going to start this list off with a Creepy hallway story at number 10

One girl was watching some kids, and after putting them to bed, she watched TV.

Nothing spooky there.

The next day, she got a call from the parents of the youngest child.

They said that their 4 year old son had said that she stood in the doorway staring at him

for a long time, smiling, The sitter was pretty freaked out as she most definitely been sat

downstairs watching TV.

Is this a case of reincarnation at number 9

One baby sitter shared her story saying she tucked a little boy into bed, and he drousily

said "You know, I never killed anyone.

They didn't have to take my arm.

But the ground was all covered in blood."

… The sitter's only explanation was that she thinks the kid is reincarnated!

Sure.

The things some kid say….

Listen to this at number 8 A girl was babysitting her 5 year old cousin

and they were looking through the teens old yearbook from the second grade.

The cousin pointed to a young boys photo and said : That looks just like Nicholas, obviously

the teen asked, who is Nicholas…and her cousin said….The boy in my closet.

She then kept on looking at the other pictures.

Like…WHAT!

Horrifying at number 7, This babysitter made a child eat poop.

Nicole Candelaria was watching her boyfriends children when she punished his 3 year old

daughter for defecating in the bath tub.

The 27 year old allegedly held down the toddler and forced to eat her waste.

When the child told her mother, she was taken to the doctors, where bruising over the child's

body seemed consistent with her story.

Candelaria was arrested on one count of child abuse.

6 - The Lumber Jack One baby sitter was looking after a five year

old boy named jack.

He was playing nicely and seemed happy while his sitter was watching from the couch.

Casually, Jack turned to his sitter and said that there was a man sitting next to her dressed

as a lumberjack.

Jack must have seen the shock on her face as he said "oh, don't worry…he doesn't

have any arms".

OH RIGHT THEN.

5 – Prepare yourself at number five….

This is one of the Nastiest Babysitters of all time.

In November 2014, a video went viral on World Star Hip Hop that shows a woman stamping on

a baby.

The woman was unaware that she was being filmed from a secret camera.

Now I am not sure if we can actually show you this video because it is very shocking…but

basically she force feeds the child and slaps it in the face when she wont eat.

The child is then sick and she stomps on it.

This is very sad and so shocking…and it goes to show that you never really know who

exactly is watching your child….

From hating the sitter to feeling really sad for them, at number 4 we have the Babysitter

who got shot by the kids parents.

Unfortunately accidents do happen…and it seems accidents involving guns mainly happen

in the United States.

In 2015, a teenager was killed as a result of a bullet in the abdomen, accidentally fired

by the parent of the children she was watching.

Murrian Hawkins was watching Adonis Forbe's children, when he and his wife stopped in

after dinner before they planned to head out again.

Forbes checked his handgun as he thought it wasn't working properly and accidentally

fired it at the 13 year old.

Hawkins later died in hospital.

3 - Janett Christman Janet t was just 12 years old when she was

murdered on babysitting duty.

Janett was watching 3 year old Greg Romack when she was killed on March 18th 1950.

It is though Janet called the police to ask for help as she was being attacked, however

back in the 50s, tracing calls was pretty hard.

It wasn't until Greg's parents got home that they found her body in the living room.

She had been hit over the head, raped and strangled but her killer was never charged,

even though police had a suspect.

The little boy was unharmed.

2 - Martensville Sex Scandal This all went down in Saskatchewan, Canada

in the 90s … basically a woman who ran a babysitting service turned out to be a predominant

figure at a satanic church called The Brotherhood of the Ram The Church was using the childcare

business as a front to abuse hundreds of children.

Finally, one of the most horrifying baby sitter stories of all time....we have

1 - The Monster of Worcester The Monster of Worcester was the name given

to a man who killed three children in Worcester, UK.

The man was in his early 20s when he when he was baby-sitting his friends children.

When parents Elsie and Clive Ralph returned home to relive their friend of his sitting

duties, the police we already there…

They were escorted to the police station and told that their friend had brutally murdered

their children and impaled their bodies on spikes outside their home.

For over 30 years, David McGreavy's identity was kept secret as to protect his identity

from fellow inmates, however in was made public in 2009.

His only explanation for the murders was that the baby wouldn't stop crying.

Jan. 2nd, 2018 || Wolfgang - Duration: 3:47.

The door's open.

Hey. The door's open.

Huh.

Who left the door open?

Dunno. Nix I guess.

You "guess"?

When was it unlocked? Has it been open this whole time?

SESH: Was it open last night? PRESLEY: Ok, Sesh,

I don't have any special insights into the door's openness beyond yours.

Well, you're not concerned about this?

Just don't see the point in getting worked up when we don't know anything!

Not knowing anything seems like exactly the right point to start getting worked up!

Ok, look, there haven't been any reports from town. I'm sure it's fine.

Did you do this?

Uh, the door's open so we're at DEFCON 1.

Okay stop making it sound like I'm overreacting; one would be likely nuclear apocalypse. We're at DEFCON 4

My apologies.

The door's open so we're at DEFCON 4.

Yeah, I open the door. No worries.

You DID.

Yeah. We're sitting in a concrete box in the middle of Summer, so I opened the door.

Did you unlock it last night?

Has it be open this whole time, or did you just open it this morning? I- What's going on?

NIX: I'm sorry, I didn't realise opening the door was going to be punishable by court martial! SESH: I just think that it's time that you PRESLEY: Alright, let's not go antagonising each other!

SESH: take some responsibility for the fact that you turn into a giant bloodthirsty animal! PRESLEY: We've almost made it a whole lockdown without getting into a real fight! Come on!

Miraculous after the blood or jam vomit panic induced by your "cure"...

Alright. Okay. I'm sorry, did you wake up hungover this morning? No. You're welcome.

Yes, okay, sure thing!

SESH: The DOOR is not something that-- PRESLEY: Alright, great. This is a very mature way to handle this.

NIX: What is your issue? It's an open door! PRESLEY: Aaaaalright. Great! SESH: Aren't you a--

*Slams door*

Come on. It's one more night! Do we really have to have this dispute?

Being an inner-city werewolf sucks. It would've been great having the open fields to run around in

And just being out run around underneath a full moon

the only thing you would have had to really worry about would have been a slaughter of livestock.

And people, Nix.

Lycanthropy had to spread somehow.

What you don't think... nine? Heavy-duty padlocks is a little excessive?

Well, BRADLEY.

SESH: Unlike some people, PRESLEY: Ooh, real name, you're in trouble.

I hold myself responsible for the tendencies of my other half,

And I like to take precautions!

Okay, I've got a range of them

Both key and number combination.

Oh good! Just in case one of our werewolves is a master lock picker we'll have covered our asses!

You know, I'm so happy you're finding this funny.

I do! I really do, it's hilarious.

Yes! And I'm SO happy!

And I'm aware, because you told me like nine times now maybe?

Ok, so clearly to lock-in restlessness is setting in early this year

but we don't want a repeat of what happened with the last Bunker, right?

Maybe we just don't want YOU!

*Nix giggles in an 'oh snap' kind of way*

*Sesh grumbles incoherently* I can't... Argh! I can't figure out how this stupid lock works!

Perfect! I don't need to worry about it then. Oh, by the way; if you can leave the door open, ah, that'd be great.

I'm just trying to get a bit of a breeze going through

Matt Glantz GLEEFUL After Alec Torelli Hand | S5 E35 Poker Night in America - Duration: 21:30.

- [Announcer] From Choctaw Resort in Durant, Oklahoma,

this is Poker Night in America.

(upbeat jazz music)

- Hello, and welcome to Poker Night in America.

I'm Chris Hanson alongside Joe Stapleton.

- This place is the best.

It's got beer, games, prizes,

and you can never tell what time it is.

- Stapes, this is Choctaw Hotel and Resort,

not Blips and Chitz.

- Oh yeah, then what's that Roy machine doing over there?

- Flop, three way.

- You should take. - Let's check, check, check.

- You should do a segment, on the show,

like a four minute,

just nothing but Gavin one-liners.

- [Chris] Well, here we go with a bunch of fresh faces

sitting down at Choctaw for day number two.

- [Joe] Yeah, what a line-up.

So many good poker players and Gavin Smith.

- I think they also did it for Hellmuth too, I think.

Like outbursts, like--

- Yeah Hellmuth has

more than this - Comparing Gavin to Hellmuth.

- [Matt] Don't worry ETay I'll get her.

- [Esther] Thanks, I forgot my wallet today.

- [Matt] Oh my God, did you really?

- [Joe] Where in the world is Esther Taylor?

I don't think anyone can pull that hat off.

- [Alec] I'll get the next one?

- [Joe] Not even international

crime syndicate Carmen Sandiego people.

- [Gavin] Felicia, I'll tip for them

- Do you pay for the drinks and the tips, or just the tips?

- I think the hot water is free.

- [Matt] I think the drinks are free.

The drinks are free, right? - I don't know.

I ordered a drink playing blackjack last night

and they charged me $12.

- Hand of the day possibilities.

- This is definitely in contention.

- [Joe] Alec Torelli dominated

queen eight versus ace queen.

- [Matt] I'm not showing one card.

- [Chris] Flop is eight, deuce, king.

- I hope they show both cards.

- [Alec] 600.

- [Joe] And Glantz three bet this pre-flop,

perfectly fine out of position.

- [Chris] 600 was the bet and the call.

We head off to the turn.

Seven of spades,

so Torelli not only now with a pair of eights,

but also a flush draw.

- [Joe] Glantz is not slowing down.

- 17.

- There's definite hand of the day possibilities.

- Can we zoom in on these two guys,

so that we have footage for the end of the day?

- [Joe] Is there a hand of the day?

- [Chris] Did we just invent a new feature?

- [Joe] Torelli getting sticky with his pair of eights.

Somehow he just knows,

and Matt's pretty much got no choice now

but to triple-barrel this.

- 43.

- [Chris] Alec Torelli, go away.

- Just don't go all in.

- I don't think you're allowed to coach.

- I agree.

- Just because he runs this stupid show now,

can we tell him?

- I think his hand is dead, Gavin.

- I think it's dead too.

- Show one. - Hand of the day.

- Show one. - Oh, no.

- [Gavin] Show him one, show him one.

- Show them both, show them both, you want to so bad.

- [Gavin] Zinger.

- You wanna show them so bad.

- Hand of the day.

- Nice hand. - That is hand of the day.

- [Alec] I always did it when I was

going to be in the small blind the next day.

You just did it in mid position.

- [David] I guess if you have nothing,

and you're rooting for Alec to call, you.

- Like how do you throw out 25 in a row?

- I don't know.

- [David] If you have something,

you don't want Alec to call you.

But if you have nothing, you want him to call you,

so you have a chance to win the bluff.

- You have a good spot.

If he's big blind, you can limp the button

and then just bet the five and we'll be--

- No strategy please.

Don't help everybody get better at beating me.

- [Joe] They're now putting money on a Alec Torelli bluff.

So that's fun.

- This is ridiculous.

- Oh my god, you guys have a bounty now.

- I'm looking forward to paying $100 this hand.

- [Alec] Me too.

- [Chris] Torelli makes it 600.

- [Joe] Are we sure this in Chan Pelton

and this isn't Ty Burell from Modern Family?

- 600 extra

- There's 500 dead in the middle

and you're folding position, come on.

- I can't fold.

- Let's just pay him, let's just repay him.

- [Joe] Coleman calls.

- It's hard to bluff me when you limp call out a position.

- [Matt] It's hard to bluff him when he has the best hand.

- There's always a chance though.

- [Joe] Top pair for Torelli.

- This one has possibilities.

- [Joe] He's also got a gut shot.

Coleman's got a gut shot, a back door flush draw.

- [Matt] I wish you would have had the nine

when I had the ace, that would have been

a little extra incentive. - Check check.

- [Alec] A lot more.

- [Matt] Would yours be considered a bluff though?

On the river it would, but not on the turn.

It's not really a bluff, right?

- [Gavin] Yeah it's not but I wanna turn.

- [Chan] Yes, and that's where he was saying

like where's the line?

- [Gavin] No, it's gotta be a full bluff.

- [Matt] It has to be like a,

a bluff. - Like air?

- [Chan] Yeah, there's bluff and there's air,

two different things.

- [Gavin] On the turn, you can't have out saying--

- [Matt] Well, his is definitely not a bluff.

If he moves it on the turn,

so you check raise the turn?

- [Chan] It's not a bluff.

- [Matt] He's got at least 40% equity or something.

- [Chan] Yeah, but he's also not the best hand.

- [Joe] So this is interesting,

Coleman raise calls pre-flop then check raises the turn,

and when he does this, he's repping a pretty narrow range.

He's not supposed to have a straight,

so he's mostly repping sets.

It's pretty hard to hit a set.

- [Chris] And Torelli calls, so there's 5000 in the pot,

as we bring the river.

It's another five.

- [Joe] So none of the draws get there.

- [Male Voice] Drinks, cocktails?

- [Gavin] Thank you.

- 4500.

- [Chris] 4500 the bet from Coleman.

- (beep) I think he has it.

- It's kind of good, Alec always knows

whether he's getting,

whether he gets bluffed--

- [Chris] So there's the extra 100 bucks

coming from everbody.

- If they just fold, they have it.

You can get a lot of extra information in this game.

- [Alec] Well done.

- [Joe] Card player, Poker Tour champion.

- [Chris] Right in the corner, where the vendor is.

- [Joe] Chan Pelton.

- Holy (beep), I didn't realize I was playing with

a famous guy.

- A kind of a big deal.

- He's a big deal that won Choctaw.

- Yeah.

- [David] We're between Oklahoma champions.

He won the one across town for like a million.

- Oh at WinStar? - Yeah.

- A million?

- [Maxx] Seven seventy-five.

- [Gavin] Maybe you don't have to do anything illegal then.

- Did you bag this one?

- How much of it do you have left?

- [Maxx] Right there in the hand.

- [Matt] So who would you take right now?

He's got your play tomorrow.

- My play today.

Today's the last day, right?

- [Matt] Who would you think will last longer?

Him, or ETay's 15 blinds going with you too?

- [Gavin] He's only had his first bullet, right?

I'll take you there.

- [Matt] I would take ETay too.

What if he had 125 000 at dinner,

when you start with 20 000?

- Well, it just doesn't matter how good he is.

- If he has a 125 000 at dinner, we could bet.

- Okay, you got it, same bet.

- If you have a 125 or somewhere around there,

let us know, please.

- [Esther] You should give me a 100, or 100 plus.

- [Matt] I'll take him as well.

- 100 plus.

- [Matt] Only problem is if he plays today,

he was gonna buy any of us dinner.

- Yeah, that's the last day.

- Tomorrow. - Yeah.

- [Maxx] Today's the last day.

- Speak of the devil. - Today's the last day one.

- [Matt] No because he's only playing half of his session,

so he'll buy in before.

- Okay you're outta here. - What?

- [Gavin] Okay you're outta here.

- [Matt] Do you wanna play?

Do you guys want me,

didn't tell you want me to get up?

I don't care. - Just play half.

- [David] You said for half.

- Yeah, that's a good idea. - We need you in here.

- [David] Have him come on half-time.

- [Matt] Well Gavin and ETay want your bet.

I think it would be more fun with than Sally.

- [Gavin] I kind of, get a little bit of fun when you're in.

- [Matt] What?

- [Gavin] I kind of enjoy myself--

- [Alec] Matt is a little bit of fun, to be honest.

- How much is it? - Well I get it started but,

- [Matt] Once I get started, it just goes.

- [Alec] Matt just lights all the,

the kindle, all of that.

- [Matt] I'm good at that.

I don't know, your boy's gonna play.

- Hey, there's Mr. Quads.

- Here, take a look at this.

- [Chris] Oh, that is just a terrible card

for Esther Taylor.

- I call.

- King? - Flush.

- [Chris] Yeah, yeah, there was a flush out there.

Probably tough to see with that hat on.

♪ Where in the world did Esther Taylor ships go ♪

- No just, I'm the last one, is fine.

It's just some much easier that way.

Or any heads-up pot, obviously.

- You're saying if he folds

and then everybody folds behind you.

- [Alec] Then it doesn't count.

- [David] It's not like that bad,

you fold, fold, fold, fold. - So you're bluff it out.

- [Matt] The point is to bluff out.

- Exactly, but it's like you bet, he folds,

and I fold, you win.

- [David] It's not that tilting to bluff you

when you're one of four people.

- [Alec] Yeah.

- [Matt] How tilted are you right now ETay?

- I'm not tilted at all.

I'm happy.

I'm winning right now, you don't understand.

- So I guess that's not where you had

one of your 80 glasses of wine, or nine drinks?

- [Alec] It's a western bar, that's true.

- [Joe] Pelton limping, interesting, he's got

gambling chips now I guess.

- This is just Alec confusing me.

He watched me play all day yesterday,

he noticed what kind of crap I play,

and he's just gonna abuse it.

And I knew that was coming.

What can I do?

- [Joe] Torelli versus Baker,

holy quads batman.

And I think Torelli is gonna continue here, a lot.

- [Gavin] I've been watching Alec Torelli's videos

and it really mentions position quite a bit so,

that's why I play like that out of the gun.

- Does it? - Yeah.

- [Gavin] Says position is very very important--

- [Matt] He's a good teacher, right?

- [Gavin] Yes.

Well, except for I was missing

the most important part of the lesson.

- I'm just going to check.

You can check this here, you bet.

- [Joe] We like this hand.

- I don't know.

- Deuce of clubs.

- [Joe] So when Alex, is it Alec or, whichever,

when he gets called on the flop,

he might slow down here, and he does.

It's not a lot David would call a flop with,

and fold the turn.

Dear Baker's probably not going want to give, Alex?

- [Chris] Alec Torelli.

- [Joe] Alec the chance to,

or Torelli.

- [Alec] Let me get a couple more lemons.

- [Joe] Who was I thinking of?

I think this is a pretty easy fold.

Now Alec's been folding a lot to river bets.

And king high is only beating, total air.

Not doing so well against quadzilla.

- [Chris] You had quad fives

and you don't even get to show it off.

- [Joe] You gotta show quads.

It's in our charter.

- [Matt] Good, I didn't want that 100 bucks.

- Welcome back, poker demographic.

Yes, I'm talking to you Steve.

Could you imagine if there actually wasn't

anyone named Steve watching this right now?

How embarrassing that'd be.

- Steve is definitely watching, hey Steve.

- Given that it's the first time

it's happened to me in 12 years,

I don't think that it's

really worth investing that much time.

- [Chris] Alec Torelli with queens,

makes it 150.

- [Joe] Let's see how these clowns fair

now that Torelli has a real hand.

- I have that figured out.

- [Alec] It's definitely.

- [David] Why don't you go ahead and bluff me now huh?

- [Joe] But then again of course,

someone can always wake up with an even realer hand.

- [Chris] 700 is the bet.

- [David] Still 700.

- And you have, 8K in black, right?

Just so I'm clear.

- [David] I have 9K in black,

1K in green. - Okay yeah, 9K in black.

- I have 11 000.

Wait, for the 1000.

Am I bluffing if I bet three flop?

I mean if I bet in dark?

- [Chris] Looks like a thousand bucks in the dark,

and an ace comes on the flop.

- [Joe] That ace could be incredibly helpful for Alec,

now it's gonna pay off this bet because of the dark bet.

I'm not sure he invests too much more in this pot.

Yeah, Alec's not putting another dime into this pot

especially because this is a 25/50 game

and dimes are hardly used at all anymore in casinos.

What is this? The 1920s?

- [Gavin] Can you believe that (beep) in a five hole?

- [Matt] Alright here we go, David Baker.

What's your price? The fly?

- [Joe] Bets 3000, nearly pot.

- I gotta think for a sec,

because I'm trying to think what, is supposed to.

- [Joe] Alec's been bluffed in a few spots,

and I'd say if this were any other player

they might get a little stubborn with these lady kings.

The problem is that, while he's gonna be beat here a lot,

David is capable of doing this with a worse hand queens,

thinking he might be able to get queens to fold.

- This is a tough spot, because I'm not sure what you do.

Maybe I'm thinking too much, I don't know.

- Just go back to the library of hands from yesterday.

Put them into the computer.

- Put them all in a simulator.

But now the simulator has a different algorithm.

- [Chris] I also forgot about the added dynamic

of everyone's trying to bluff Alec Torelli today,

and he's gotta consider that as well.

It's like the seven deuce game,

it's focused only on you.

- Well, I definitely call with some hands,

and I don't know if this is one of them.

Probably not the best hand to call with.

I guess I block.

Alright, I don't know what to do.

- [Chris] And the call,

to pay David off. - Wow.

- [Alec] Nice hand.

- [Chris] Wow, quads, and then aces full.

- [Joe] How do you get paid with aces full,

dream breaker chip taker David Baker,

flopping aces now.

- [Matt] What is she talking about?

- [David] I mean, it changes the odds for him

but not for you.

- [Alec] Yeah, but it does change the odds.

- [David] It increases his breadth--

- [Alec] It does change the odds for me,

because he's supposed to bluff more.

- [David] Yeah, as bluff frequency gets higher.

- [Alec] It does change--

- Sorry I'm done bluffing you.

- [Alec] Exactly, it doesn't change the odds for me, but--

- [David] But it changes the bluff frequency.

- [Alec] It improves my relative hand strength.

So that's why it's like harder to, gauge.

It's not like, it just takes more time,

like in a spot where I've--

- Yeah, like the hand versus me.

Like you probably just incidentally fold if I have to,

if I have to be winning less percents of the time.

- [Alec] Yeah.

I should maybe still fold but.

- [Joe] Alright so ETay was the straddler here.

- I raised.

- [Joe] We're going three ways to the flop.

- [Chris] Five, five, 10 is the flop,

so Taylor's ahead.

- We just have a bluff bottom. - I'm sorry.

- [David] This Shaun Deeb one would be a really good one.

- What's that?

- [Joe] 10, eight, from worst to first.

Will they hold?

No they will not.

- [Chris] That didn't last long.

- Yeah, because he calls everything.

- [Joe] Catching a set on the turn just feels so good,

can you feel that Chris? Huh?

- [Matt] Apparently they're torturing me in the booth

by the way, for being too tight.

- [Alec] For what?

- [Matt] Being too tight.

- Really? - Yeah.

- Who cares what they say? - That's gotta be a first.

- [Chris] Alright here comes Coleman.

- [Alec] Type of, would just say that about you?

- [Matt] Yeah.

- They torture ETay?

after today's session

because she is getting ripped to shreds,

I'm not proud of that one.

- [Chris] Three on the river.

- 4000.

- [Joe] 4000 is the bet,

it's just so hard to keep making good decisions

when you're in a downward slide.

- It's deuces full, I think.

- What? - Who do you want for a 100?

- Huh? - Who do you want for a 100?

- Well you know, I'm gonna light it on fire.

- [Gavin] We can't find out this time.

- [Chan] Yeah because--

- [Gavin] He doesn't have to show it.

- [Chan] Well then it's a wash.

- Deuces.

- She said deuces. - She said deuces too.

- [Chan] She said there's four or nothing.

- [Joe] Maybe consider taking off the hat, I don't know.

Everybody welcome to the mack show.

- Very nice hand.

Very well played.

- The rough deck continues for Esther Taylor

as she loses to yet another boat.

We'll be back in a moment to wrap things up

here in Choctaw when we come back.

- Welcome back to planet Earth version C137.

I'm Joe Stapleton, and this my Chris Hanson.

- [Chris] And these are our chip counts,

and we don't see Alec Torelli

lose here all that often on Poker Night,

but he's gonna leave here $15000 lighter.

Esther Taylor took a 2-by-4 of a cold deck

to the side of the head for over 25 grand,

and everyone else here finished with a profit.

Maxx Coleman with two X's was our biggest winner of 12K,

and both Chan Pelton and David ODB Baker

won roughly 10 grand.

- Who do you think would win a worst name contest?

Chan Pelton?

Or Reince Priebus?

- Shaun Deeb, it's just two weird syllables.

If you want more from Poker Night,

you can find us on social media including

- Now you're gonna find like it,

everywhere you're playing,

people are gonna be doing this here.

- The bounty on Alec. - The bounty on Alec.

- Alec's so strong though, it's self-evaluation,

he's gonna use this session to--

- [Chan] He's gonna figure it out.

- [Alec] I'm gonna have to go home,

and run the simulation.

- He'll just get better because of it.

- I'm unprepared for the bounty.

Eating Sushi with the Mayor of Hoorn | Greetings from the Netherlands - Duration: 8:10.

Hello Miew Miew.

Hello.

It is time for me to go to my friend Sharon's house, and we are going to

prepare dinner for the mayor of Hoorn, and... Yeah... Eat dinner and dessert.

It'll be good. Good afternoon! Good afternoon! How are you doing? then this happened: my

bangs got ruined. My shirt is wet, and my jeans got wet. Not as wet as... what's

it called? Jogging pants and jacket, however. And Sharon is busy cooking. It

seriously smells delicious. I wish they'd invent the scent camera soon,

because it smell so good, but I feel like I say that every single time when something smells good. - Yes, I know.

Anywho... Sharon, what's going on? - Well, I'm making preparations for sushi, so all

I've done - everything... I guess. Except for the real sushi.

What I did is: I cooked everything. I made some side dishes. I want to make some side dishes later, but

they have to be a little bit hot. so... - Okay. - I can make them later. I baked some tofu

for inside the sushi. That's this one, and I just marinated with some 'stroop'.

Like the Dutch... well... syrup... and soy sauce, and I just did

something, and well, mix it together, and marinated in that an bake it, and it

is so good. Like, really it smells and it tastes so good. - Yeah I got to

try it too. It really tastes good. - Indeed. This will go into the sushi, and then I have

some bigger pieces over here. And they will just be plain so you can just eat

them. - Okay. - Like this. What I did... I made some spinach.

I will season that afterwards. I made some rice.

I cooked everything. Later I will bake the...

...squash. Squash: is that the word? - Squash. Squash. - Squash? Yes, squash, and some

- Mushrooms. - Mushrooms. Yeah, and then I think everything done.

So I'm gonna wash my hands. I'm gonna help out, because you can probably use

some help. So I was in charge to cutting, or in charge of cutting avocado, and

right now Sharon is making sushi, so we have the tofu with a little bit of

spinach, garlic, and green onions, and rice... - Sesame oil. - Sesame oil.

Yes. Alright. So I'll show you how you make a sushi roll. First you put it

like this, and then you flip it over. And everything should be in there. And well...

When it's like this you press it, so that it's really round, and then you put some

water on this side, so it will stick to each other.

The leafs are pretty. - Yes, and then you just roll it as much as you can like this.

Like roll it this round. Alright. - Looks good! - And then later we can cut it.

Alright. - Good job. - Thank you. - Hey Shoralie.

Hey. - What cat is this? - Minion. - Is it Minion? OK. Minion. Hello! Hello! How sweet.

First you cut it into the middle, and... I have to do it again.

Does it have to be that wet? - Yeah... And don't press too much because then you will

ruin it. - Yeah. - So yeah. And then you make it wet again. You can leave the... How do you call this? - The tap. - The tap. You can

leave it on. - OK. - So after the middle, you cut the... - So how thick do you

want it? - That's right because this is quite... Maybe like three here - six. - Yeah,

Okay. - Six pieces. - Okay. Okay. - A little bit again. So you have to feel it that it feels like it's smooth. And it just presses around... You don't push. Push. Push.

So let the knife do the work? - Yes indeed. And then you go around. - Okay. - Yes, but you have to... Oh my God. Look at this. - What?

Kind of ruined, because I pressed it too much. - Oh no!

Yeah, this is not a very sharp knife as you probably already noticed. Yes. Alright. And you do it like that

and I do this first, so you can actually, like, shape them a little bit. - Okay. - I think it looks alright.

- Sounds good. - Yeah. -I should be able to do that. - Yes. - Okay, cool. Thank you. - Yes.

You can do that afterwards, and you can... Oh... can do all off them, and you can put them on here, and

afterwards... Yeah sounds. - OK. Sounds good. Thank you very much. OK... I wash my hands, and then I got this.

So this is the mayor of Hoorn. How are you doing? - Very good. Thank you.

Good. Yeah, I really like your suit actually. It looks really good on you - Oh, thank you. Very nice. - And you even have the Hoorn pin. Like really good. - The Hoorn pin, yes.

So how did you like dinner that Sharon prepared? - It was very good. Yeah, sushi. - Yes. - It was sushi. It was very nice. - Vegetarian sushi.

Very good. - Yeah, she's a great cook. - Great cook - great cook. - If you want to know how she prepared it, I

filmed a little bit, so maybe I can give you my YouTube channel, and then you can watch

this again. - Okay. Very good. Thank you. Good bye. Good Bye.

And now it's time for dessert. Hmm..

Hey! Thank you very, very much for dinner tonight.

Oh you're welcome. - I really appreciate it. It was really good . - Yeah, it was, right?

Good evening. Good

evening. How are you lovely people doing? So dinner was a great success. We had

dessert, and we hung out with the mayor of Hoorn. He's a really cool guy. He really

is. Um. Right now, I'm walking a lot these stairs. Uh, to be exact,

all the way to the top floor, bacause I'm gonna go say hi to my mom, and hang out

with her for a little while. On my way home I was like: "You know what? Why not just stop at

her apartment and chat with her for a little bit. Catch up." I've no idea if she's

actually up or not, but I guess I'm about to find out

Jeez, this is a workout.

January 2018 Update #DHSTV with Hank Jongen Department of Human Services - Duration: 3:16.

This month: myGov Access, Mobile Service Centres and updating your income estimate.

Happy new year, I'm Hank Jongen, here to tell you what's happening with the department in January.

There's a new secure sign in option just released for your myGov account.

It's an app called myGov Access which creates a one-time access code

to use when you sign in to your myGov account.

It means you don't get your one-time code sent as an SMS.

It's the perfect option when you're overseas

or in an area with poor mobile network coverage and you want to use your myGov account.

If you're heading overseas, you need to download and set up myGov Access

on your mobile device before you go.

It's available for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Bringing services to people is really important,

which is why our Mobile Service Centres are so valuable.

These specialised vehicles travel to rural and regional communities

to provide convenient access to Australian Government payments and services.

Staff on board help with a wide range of face to face services

and you'll have access to self service facilities as well.

The schedule of locations is on the website

and Human Services Facebook and Twitter also regularly post location updates.

If you're from a rural or regional area take a look today.

If you get family assistance payments, having an accurate income estimate is important.

You may do some overtime or an extra shift at work from time to time.

It can add up. While the extra money

comes in handy, make sure you update your family income estimate

with any additional amounts. Even if you report income for other payments

such as Newstart Allowance or Parenting Payment,

you'll still need to update your family income estimate as well.

You can update your estimate as often as you like to make sure it is as accurate as possible.

You can update your family income estimate by accessing

your Centrelink online account through myGov.

hy guys! what's up? Carol here again!

we made it! I can't believe we did that! 2017 is Over™️

there's a dog barking outside

presents:

How I Got In A Rock Band

(how it all began) truth is I didn't get in a rock band,

the rock band just kind of happened

basically this is how it went down:

I was about to graduate from acting school,

I was studying at Escola de Atores

and I got a call from Diego

asking if I was interested in putting on a play with a original score

so basically the story happened during a rock concert and the bandmates were the characters

and I thought that was a really cool idea, so I called two friends of mine, and one of them was Leo.

and we had our first rehearsal at my place

and on that first rehearsal we already had five original songs

that's when we noticed we coudn't just do a play,

we had the potential to do something bigger

and that's where the band came from,

which was still nameless at that point.

2. a rough first year

a lot of things happened on our first year as a band

we developed 9 original songs,

and we spent most of our time rehearsing

we had a lot of things to fix at that time

we were lacking instruments, our arrangements were poor,

we lacked a lot

so we went to this gathering at one of our friend's place, we met her at acting school

and that's where we met her brother, João

we invited him to our next rehearsal,

and after that he was already part of the band, we created another song,

it was surreal

that's also when we decided to have one electric guitar and an acoustic guitar instead of two electic guitars.

not long after we had our first live performance.

it was bad.

it was like...

it was terrible.

the next day I call a meeting with the band

and we decided to stay rehearsing for another year before our next performance.

3. "timeskip"

I'm going to fast forward a little bit and go straight to 2016

like, around the end of 2016

I was so unsatisfied with how things were going

I thought things were not falling into place,

we'd been a band for almost a year then

and we were still just rehearsing, things weren't getting any better

I sat down with Diego to talk and tell him I wanted out,

Diego kind of convinced me to stay,

and then I thought "I've been doing this for almost a year now, I can't just give up like that."

and then what happened was that our drummer left us at the end of 2016

we decided to go on vacation from december to january, when we opened auditions for a new drummer

and that's when things started looking up for us, Os Caras & Carol,

that's when Ruvício joined the band.

4. the big turnaround

Ruvício was like an angel that fell from the sky straight down our rehearsal room,

a.k.a. my living room

with him on the band, in a month everything had fallen into place

the songs sounded great, we now had more dynamic arrangements,

we wanted to create new things and do new things,

and that's when the band really started growing and our year long rehearsal period ended

we started performing live again and tons of great things started happening

in 2017 we had nine live performances,

we recorded our first EP, we filmed music videos

and I had the pleasure to see people singing our songs

they were friends of ours, yes

(clara and alice, we love you <3)

but still, people that knew the lyrics

we played several different setlists at different places all over Rio,

and a close friend of mine, Ana— here's her photo

showed up to one of our concerts wearing a shirt with our logo on it.

(ana, we love you too! <3)

there's nothing that could compare to the happiness that brings me, honestly truly.

I think that the overall message of this story is that this is a risk I decided to take when I joined this project.

because I wasn't used to singing rock music, it wasn't my thing, it wasn't my style

we started out with a completely different idea, that was the play

and I started letting go a little, learning more,

sharing with these four awesome guys that are Leo, Diego, Ruvício and João,

meeting new people, and the big lesson here is to go after these risks,

don't be afraid to take risks

living new experiences, and really go for it.

that was a big risk I decided to take on and it's starting to pay off now.

in september of 2018 this project is going to turn 3 years old,

I'm very happy with where we're going with this

and there's lots of good stuff in 2018 from us

the band: Os Caras & Carol

well that's all, I tried to make this video a little shorter because the last one was 8 minutes long

and you guys were like "nah that's too long to watch"

this is the first video of the year, I've got a few ideas for the next ones

but if you guys have suggestions I'm open to those,

I'm recording the audio on my phone this time and I hope it's louder than last time, I really do

as always, subscribing is optional but I'll love it if you do

and... that's all! bye!

Gear Club Unlimited REVIEW! - Duration: 4:41.

So, there are quite a few arcade racers already on switch. There is

Mario Kart 8, Fast RMX if you're more into F-Zero,

and then like stuff ported from mobile like Riptide. Another game

that's from mobile is Gear Club, and on Switch it's Gear Club Unlimited.

If you're looking at the app on the eShop, you might be inclined to think this

this looks more realistic, maybe a little bit more gritty -

it might lean more toward simulation. The moment you actually jump into Gear

Club Unlimited though, you feel very very quickly this is not a simulation

racer. It tries to stay more faithful to something like a Forza or Gran Turismo, but as

soon as you have the opportunity to play Gear Club next to something like a Gran Turismo Sport,

a Forza Motorsport or even a Forza Horizon - it's very very easy to

see that there have been compromises put in place by the developers to deal with

the fact that it's running on limited hardware in comparison to make sure that

the package as a whole doesn't feel like it's it's falling short.

The basic progression system in Gear Club Unlimited hinges on

championships which is not particularly uncommon, but the implementation is kind

of spotty. The world map that you have access to is actually huge but

there is this fog of war style haze over most of the map.

When you progress through Championships you have the opportunity

to earn stars. The better you do, the more stars you earn and

the more of the map you uncover. The weird thing about the map though is that it

just seems kind of out of place. You'll have bayside style vista areas next to

random rally spots next to like canyons and then like inner city areas and it

doesn't feel anywhere near as cohesive as a Forza Horizon. Now, you

might argue that's a bit of a comparison to make - perhaps an unfair one -

but the reality is Forza Hrorizon 1 came out in 2012 on 360, and it

visually and in terms of design and progression

feels way smoother in pretty much every aspect next to Gear Club Unlimited,

but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its merits either. In terms of

customization, coming from mobile as you'd expect, there's quite a

decent level of customisation, whether it's cosmetic

in terms of paint jobs or stuff you can attach to your car, or more

mechanical like stuff that affects gameplay. There's plenty of ways

to customize your car, but on top of that you also have access to a garage and

this garage is a massive shed that you just fill with random crap and

this is where the "kind of at odds with itself" works. It's wacky and it's

dumb and it's stupid, but really you don't care. You're there because you have

access to way too many tools for someone who's just been racing

haphazardly through this world for like, four seconds, but it feels really fun to

actually jump into the garage, mess around with a car, kind of level it up,

and then jump into a race and feel really really overpowered.

While I'm talking about the racing itself, I probably should talk about

the difficulty and assists. In terms of how you control the car it feels a

little bit stiff again compared to Forza Horizon 1. The reason why I keep

going back to Forza horizon 1 is because it straddles the line really

really well between a simulation and an arcade racer, where you have the

flexibility to toggle assists on off at will, but it really feels responsive

no matter what you do. The problem is Gear Club unlimited straddles that line

too, but not in a good way. You don't have access to assists that feel really

substantial at all. You can turn off assist braking and turning with a

pretty basic slider, but the reality is this:

If you're bad at races, put everything up to the max and it feels

like the game's playing itself. Put it all the way to the bottom and it

feels like the game shouldn't feel as clunky and a little bit gross to control

as it does. The exception to this is rally, where it just goes full arcade and

you don't really care at that point, because you're drifting around corners,

drifting around these mountaintops and it feels good for the most part. However,

those rally events are not quite as common as I would have liked

unfortunately. So, Gear Club Unlimited is a decent racer. It's not

quite as polished as a Mario Kart 8 or a Fast RMX, but it feels fun to play for

the most part. The customization will keep people who are coming from like

mobile games or potentially like more casual gamers at bay in terms of keeping

busy and feeling like there is a sense of progression. But, for more hardcore

gamers - people that have had the opportunity to get really into arcade

racers or really into sim racers - you're probably better off sticking with one

side or the other.
